Selfless ۞ Competitive ۞ Observant/Conscientious ۞ Sarcastic ۞ Loyal ۞ Unyielding ۞ Compassionate ۞ Forthright Brynn, to most, has this "I'm better than you" vibe about her (especially when it comes to Cap the Flag), which those who think that tend to believe it's because she's Athena's daughter. Like one of those snot-nosed popular brats in high school who thinks everyone is beneath her. Quite the opposite in Brynn's case, except she does have a serious case of RBF. Brynn is very much about helping others way before she even thinks of herself, she just tends to be super competitive when it comes to physical training. She tries not to gloat, but sometimes she can't help it. She knows she's good at what she does, but she does like to help others out and give them pointers, especially the newer campers. She may only be 16, but she kind of acts like Mother Hen among her friends. She loves working with others but doesn't mind being a lone wolf, either. Although most of the time that's not so, considering she and her best friend Greyson spend quite a bit of time together. If you really get to know Brynn, she tends to be quite sarcastic. You'll know she's comfortable with you when she starts insulting you. It's all love, so don't take it personally. Confused? Yeah, I was too for the longest time after seeing it on TikTok repeatedly.. and none of the comments gave any real insight as to wtf the trend was about. I more or less got the gist, but I wanted a more in-depth explanation so that I knew my guess wasn't wrong. Put simply, the trend operates on the premise that men think about the Roman Empire more often than women, so often, in fact, that the women in their lives are shocked by the frequency. What is your Roman Empire? Or, in other words, what is an obscure or niche topic that you think about way too much? The range of answers to this question is much broader and can be anything from inside jokes with friends to funny pop culture moments.
Me, personally, my Roman Empire is Gelert∞. Gelert is a legendary wolfhound associated with the village of Beddgelert (whose name means "Gelert's Grave") in Gwynedd, north-west Wales. In the legend, Llywelyn the Great returns from hunting to find his baby missing, the cradle overturned, and Gelert with a blood-smeared mouth. Believing the dog had devoured the child, Llywelyn draws his sword and kills Gelert. After the dog's dying yelp, Llywelyn hears the cries of the baby, unharmed under the cradle, along with a dead wolf that had attacked the child and been killed by Gelert. Llywelyn is overcome with remorse and buries the dog with great ceremony, but can still hear its dying yelp. After that day, Llywelyn never smiles again. The story is a variation of the "Faithful Hound" folk-tale motif, which lives on as an urban legend.

Inducing said emotions can be done from afar, but taking them away requires physical touch. ⊁⊁⊁ Terror Generation: She can bring terror to a large crowd, in the way his father once brought a large sea monster that served to scare many mortals. ⊁⊁⊁ Worst Fear Generation: Dany can make individuals see their worst fears through eye contact. However, she can only handle a small handful of people at a time. The effects are started through eye contact, but can last for several minutes even after contact is broken. ⊁⊁⊁ Fear Construct: She can change fear into tools, objects, weapons, and other items, create semi-living constructs, and/or create structures/buildings of varying permanence and tangibility. Her constructs typically take the form of a wolf. A shadowy figure that resembles the canine. ∞ ⊁⊁⊁ Umbrakinesis: She has control over darkness and shadows for various uses. ⊁⊁⊁ Invisibility (Has not figured out, yet): She can use shadows to cover herself in darkness to become invisible. ⊁⊁⊁ Darkness Generation (Has not discovered): She can solidify shadows to shoot bolts of darkness, form virtually impenetrable shields, and surround enemies in pitch-black clouds of lightless space. ⊁⊁⊁ Shadow Travel: She can use shadows as a way of transportation. However, great distances tend to wear her out. This is an ability she is still fairly new to and gets lessons from Dorian Underwood to help master this. ⊁⊁⊁ Shapeshifting Dany can change her appearance and form to people or animals. The power is limited, as she has to know a lot about the being she changes herself into. She has some practice changing into animals but hasn't attempted shifting into another person before. Her father once shifted to look like Ares, so the ability is there. She just hasn't discovered that part of it yet. The better she knows the animal/person, the stronger the shift is. While she's alone in a quiet space, she likes to practice this ability. So far, she can shift into a wolf∞, a cat∞, and a mink∞.

He used to have a full-length tail but was bitten off by a dragon in the camp that he was "Stupidly!" trying to play with. ⊁⊁⊁ When Dany is struggling to get to sleep late at night, she often goes to the lake, shifts into her wolfy form, and runs the perimeter till she tires herself out. An idea she was given by her father, who also loves to transform into a wolf.. one of his more favored beings to change into. He was also the one who taught her how to shapeshift. ⊁⊁⊁ Dany rather enjoys going down to the stables to help out from time to time. If she has the time, and Grey or Killian gives her the green light, she loves to take Shiok∞ for a ride. Though the horse is not hers, she has grown a very close bond with the gelding. He's very smart and sassy. Dany loves him so much, that she went ahead and got herself her own tack. A saddle with a saddle pad∞, and a war bridle. (look up a war bridle.. I'm not linking EVERYTHING! :P)
Greyson stands at a flat six feet tall while weighing approximately 68.946kg (152lbs). The young man keeps up with working out, leaving him with quite an athletic, mesomorph build. He has blue-grey eyes and wavy dirty-blond hair. His skin is lightly tanned, with no blemishes of any kind. Greyson's style consists of plain ol' crew neck t-shirts and jeans with some normal street shoes. At least that's what he wears to fit in with the 'American youth'. He would much prefer it if he wore fancier clothing, such as button-up shirts and a nice pair of jeans or slacks with some dress shoes. A nicely pressed suit is a personal favorite, of his. No matter what he wears, though, he always has his two rings and his necklace from his mother.

Greyson is a soft-spoken gentleman who keeps a rather calm and stoic demeanor on the outside. His background has him constantly holding his shoulders back and his head held high to face the problems thrown his way. He's a young man of very few words, that is unless he's speaking passionately about something. Or to someone. Even through the hardships that Greyson has faced, he's always managed to keep hold of his soft, kind-hearted inner shell. The few he's allowed into his inner circle know this boy is loyal to a fault and loves like no other. His need to protect the women in his life far exceeds anything else. Having three sisters, he knows just how fragile young girls can be. Greyson can be a bit more emotional as well as in-tune to emotions more than the average male, having been raised mostly by his mother and raised around nearly all girls, he picked up a few things. Greyson is an all-around good guy. He can act pretty damn confident, but it's not out of an "I'm better than you" way, more of an "I know my worth" kind of way. He's a lover, not a fighter, but will fight for those he loves. You probably won't find another guy like him.
History
Greyson's mother, Princess Diana, died less than a year after his birth. Greyson grew up in the shadows of Prince William and Prince Harry, raised by Prince Charles, Duke of Wales, and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall. Charles treated Greyson as if he was his own son, and Greyson knew no better. His real father never came forward to claim him so he didn't know any better of where/who his real lineage lay with. That is until he was approximately 9 years old when he was nearly killed by a giant.
The details of just how exactly he survived are quite fuzzy to Greyson, but all he remembered is it didn't take long for Oakley Dagwood to reach out to him to comfort him in the dark time. He offered information for the young boy to piece together, filling in the blanks of a past he never even knew. He began spending summers in the camp, learning who he was and how to control the abilities he had (and was still discovering). He quickly learned that he wasn't alone and that things weren't just black and white, but much more complicated than he could've ever imagined before.
Once Greyson came of age, he stopped attending the camp full-time and started only staying for the summer, taking up schooling at Olympus Academy during the other months of the year. The change was difficult, at first. The atmosphere was... challenging, to say the least. Eventually, Greyson did find his place among the crowd and fell in with the rest. Being a son of one of The Big Three caused him to grow a reputation rather quickly, but the young man didn't put much thought into it. As much as he enjoys his time spent at school, he enjoys going back home to be with his camp family for the summers. Greyson occasionally takes time off of school to make public appearances with the family, but they don't last too long, as he has a duty to his schooling. Something he's always taken very seriously.
From what Greyson was told by his father many years ago, his parents met on a pier. Diana and Charles had just settled their divorce and her ex-husband and ex-friend Camilla had gone quite public with their relationship. No longer in the shadows, it was hard for Diana to cope. Poseidon had happened upon the woman crying on a bench seat overlooking the water. It was late in the evening and the sun was setting. It was something out of a movie. Even though she was in tears and her make-up was running, he said she was the most beautiful woman he'd ever seen. He took to her like a duck to water, and vice versa. The two became very close in a short time and after some time, it led to the conception of a child. Greyson. Over the next nine months, she kept her pregnancy hush-hush.
When the boy was born, it was believed to the public anyway, that the child was the result of Charles and Diana having flipped the table and had an affair behind Camilla's back. Of course, Charles denied it because he knew that wasn't the case. Camilla, however, had her suspicions. When Diana died in the car crash just 8 months after Greyson was born, Charles took it upon himself to bring him under his wing and raise him as his own. The public already had it in their minds that he was, in fact, his. If he turned his back on the boy, he'd never hear the end of it. The small child grew on Charles quickly, making it simple for him to forget that he wasn't actually his. He received the same schooling as his two brothers, William and Harry.
Greyson grew up hearing stories of his mother from the two older boys and of course the tabloids. It wasn't encouraged in the Royal Household to read up on any of them because most (if not all of them) were lies. At least that's what they were told, growing up. Greyson read them anyway. It's all he had left of his mother's legacy. That, and a necklace that she bought for him within the first few weeks after his birth at the pier where their parents had met. She'd planned to give it to him on his 18th birthday. His father had acquired it at some point, but instead of holding onto it for so long, he gave it to his son the summer following his 10th birthday. It's the only thing Greyson has left of his mother, doubling as a reminder that at one point in time, his parents had been in love.

He even can make giant fists of water that mimic whatever he does, which can be used to grab enemies or smash them into the ground. ∞ Hydrokinesis sub-ability: Vitakinesis (limited) He can use water to strengthen himself and heal most wounds, the amount of water and time needed for the healing being proportionate to the severity of the wound. ∞ Hydrokinesis sub-ability: Water Immunity If he falls into the water, he will be immune to water pressure. Legend says, Llywelyn the Great returns from hunting to find his baby missing, the cradle overturned, and Gelert∞ with a blood-smeared mouth. Believing the dog had devoured the child, Llywelyn draws his sword and kills Gelert. After the dog's dying yelp, Llywelyn hears the cries of the baby, unharmed under the cradle, along with a dead wolf that had attacked the child and been killed by Gelert. Llywelyn is overcome with remorse and buries the dog with great ceremony, but can still hear its dying yelp. After that day, Llywelyn never smiles again. ⊁⊁⊁ A gift from a friend.
"Growing up, my favorite animal was a snow leopard. Ky' vie Morgan and I had talked about it on a few occasions. I used to draw blueprints of sorts for this idea I had so that one day I could build up my own mechanical beast. Just as a sort of hobby, nothing more, really. Well, some years passed by, and one summer when I arrived at Camp, Ky' vie was waiting for me at the gates with this huge grin on her face. Eventually, she took me down to her bunker where she liked working on her projects and putting the final touches on what she was so eager to show me. Turns out, ever since we had started making sketches and whatnot of my mechanical leopard, she'd been trying to build one for me. She finally finished it and gave it to me as a 'welcome home' present. Sheba, the leopard, is water-resistant... Can't have her short-circuiting on me, can we? Being who I am, I'm glad Ky' vie took the extra step to do that. Sheba's practically a living thing. Has the same mannerisms as an actual leopard, and if she feels I'm being threatened, she will attack, or at the very least prepare to. She also has a set of commands, which are voice-sensitive, and are spoken in French and even ASL for more discreet situations... Tyler stands at a near six feet tall (5'11") while weighing approximately 162lbs. The young boy stays quite active, but also just naturally has an ectomorph body build. You'd think he was the son of Poseidon with how deep his blue-green eyes are. Tyler dawns wavy dark-brown hair that remains mostly straight until it grows out to his shoulders where it will start to curl, though he rarely ever lets it get that long. The boy has a decent tan with your occasional typical teenage acne/blemishes here and there, but overall a clean appearance. Personality
Tyler is independent and desperate to prove himself, wanting to show his talent and leave a legacy behind in the minds of everyone. But he’s not brash. He is content to observe and work quietly, and he’s quite intelligent, which is no small aid. He wants to be something and make something of himself; proving himself better than anyone could have expected is one of his highest priorities. However, as intellectually mature as he may be, Tyler is still young and still learning. There is much he doesn’t understand and his social skills need work. He has somewhat of a low tolerance for certain people and is dismissive of those who are loud, unsubtle, and quick to offer opinions on everything. Nevertheless, other people are often "entitled" to his opinion in the form of his biting sarcastic remarks. Other than that he is a quiet and even somewhat withdrawn boy. While he enjoys the company of some of his friends, solitude is a balm for him.
Tyler’s quiet, studious exterior hides somewhat of a rebellious and unconventional streak. He likes to go his own way and will do it willingly. He also respects authority, but follows rules when it suits him—in other words, most of the time, but not if he has something else in mind that he deems worth the risk of losing points or perhaps damaging his image a little. However, as important as that is to him, these moments come very rarely. More frequently his unconventionality is manifested in an experimentative tendency.
Tyler loves a challenge and he loves besting people, but it is usually a private victory for him. He needs not brag and draw attention to his success as long as he knows personally that he has won. However, this is not to say that he doesn’t need others’ acclaim. Being noticed is important to him, and he hates being ignored, but he would rather people notice by themselves how outstanding he can be. That being said, criticism tends to bounce off of him as well--he is rather selective about what he hears and chooses to take to heart. Despite a sometimes ungracious manner and a self-preserving and self-benefiting attitude, the boy is not bad at heart. He would always stick up for those he considers his friends and is not averse to helping even strangers after he is finished or providing it doesn’t inconvenience him. But when he is hurt, it is common to find him completely withdrawn and intractable, working only for himself in a kind of cool temper that can take a while to thaw out, even with the efforts of his closest friends. Unfortunately, Tyler is also prone to hold grudges after problems with others, and he is stubborn about them, though adaptable in other situations.
Tyler is a careful and patient boy. He’ll watch and wait for a long time with an observant and analyzing eye without feeling a need to do anything himself, gaining something from everything he sees. Not only that, he’s good at making what he sees help him in some way. Tyler is driven and works diligently to achieve any goal he’s set for himself, and places these goals above most other things. As such, he’s very organized; he hates clutter, and his personal space, personal appearance, and his management of time and such are all very neat and organized, often following a schedule or other method of keeping everything in its proper place and time. It bothers him when things aren’t set out clearly and prioritized so they can be followed right. He’s a very good multi-tasker and his organization helps him make sure everything gets accomplished exactly when and how he planned it to. If it doesn't, he'll fix it until it does.
History
To tell Tyler's story, you'd first have to know a bit of background history with his mother. In Romani culture, marriages are arranged and the Roma people abstain from sex until after they are married. Most, if not all, Roma people marry young, as well. In their teens, boys will not marry before the age of 17 and girls at the age of 16. Well, Tyler's mother Destiny was betrothed to a boy and set to marry him.. well, she ended up becoming pregnant by the god Hermes before her arranged marriage was set in place.
On the day of her wedding, the boy's mother felt another presence with Destiny that morning. It wasn't spiritual, that much she knew. Unable to just ignore the feeling she had, Destiny's soon-to-be Mother-in-Law insisted she take a test. There was no way she was going to let her son marry an impure girl. Sure enough, Destiny tested positive and the whole wedding was canceled. Destiny was then banished by her family and left to deal with her unborn child on her own. His mother eventually fell in with a traveling circus band in Hungary where she eventually had Tyler while on the road.
She spent a near 10 years with them, bringing Tyler up on her education as she wasn't able to fund schooling for her boy. He also worked for the circus as well, dressing up in a bearskin costume ∞ and attracting bystanders along the roads to their shows. This is also around the time when he started thieving, pickpocketing the people who gave him disgusting looks or said nasty things to him. After that decade came to an end, she broke away from the circus and decided to take her son over to the States with him.
The two moved to Sisters, Oregon on their own where they bought their little plot of land and made a life for themselves. It wasn't much, but it was home. Tyler grew up continuing his homeschooling while he helped his mother tend to the land, taking care of their horse as well as helping his mother with their small plot of crops. Each season bringing a new assortment of goods to grow. Tyler spent the next year and a half of his life in peace with his mother but found himself questioning his father. When Destiny finally told him the truth, Tyler was furious with her. How could she tell him that, as if what he was asking was a huge joke.. was it a joke to her?!
Not long after the conversation had been had, a young crippled boy by the name of Oakley Dagwood crossed paths with Tyler and they became fast friends. Eventually, Oakley came out to Tyler (no, not that way you goofball) as a Satyr, and mentioned that time was not on their side, as a monster had been prowling the woods around Tyler's home trying to track down the son of Hermes. To keep his mother safe, he needed to leave and allow Oakley to take him somewhere where he'd be safe. They arrived shortly after Tyler's 12th birthday. Since then, he's been at camp. The summer after his fifteenth birthday he spent it with his mother at their home, but he hasn't been back home since. He's a huge mama's boy. Misses her dearly and calls her often.

They can make it unlock, even telekinetically. This doesn't work on cursed locks, though. ∞ Lock IntuitionThey can identify curses and traps placed on locks. ⊁⊁⊁ Tyler shares his Hermes Cabin Counselor room with his half-brothers Jackson and Oakley. ⊁⊁⊁ ∞ Having a severe case of ADHD (him and everyone else, amirite?) the boy loves to toy with things like fidget spinners. Instead of an actual fidget spinner, he keeps a practice butterfly knife in his pocket that he often pulls out and plays with. ⊁⊁⊁ Aside from English and Greek, Tyler has a firm grasp of the Romani language and has since picked up on some Italian words and phrases as well because of his exposure to Erin speaking it, but still can't get ahold of complete sentences. ⊁⊁⊁ "It's not typically the Roma way to keep pets, as they're seen as 'filthy and unclean', but I've got my California King snake Narcissa ∞, and my black pine, Sirius ∞. A lot of people get weirded out by Sirius more than Narcissa, maybe cause he's black... I-I'm meaning like how people don't typically like black cats, the same goes for Sirius. Sirius happens to be the least nippy between my snakes. Narcissa is fed live mice while Sirius prefers frozen ones." ⊁⊁⊁ ∞ Over the last four years that Tyler has remained at camp he has befriended a dragon, such action being no small feat. At one time, Tyler's friend Erin had offered to help the boy out by utilizing her lordship over monsters ability, but as stubborn as Tyler is he declined the offer. The boy fought long and hard to gain the dragon's trust, but years of hard work paid off. Her name is Nuri, and she has a very strong personality. One she uses against anyone she sees as a threat to her human friend. Tyler has worked many long hours with Nuri and has since been able to train her to come to him on command, though he will admit Erin may or may not have had something to do with helping that part of their training along. The son of Hermes has also mastered the ability to ride on Nuri's back, though he has yet to use this ability in any type of combat.

Keani is more or less an acquired taste. She is not afraid to say what's on her mind and has no filter whatsoever. She is the epitome of "If I don't like your vibe I don't fuck with you". She has a tough outer (bitch) shell, but those she deems worthy enough to get behind her walls know a love and devotion never seen before. She naturally has a bitingly sarcastic sense of humor, and her friends aren't safe from it either. If she doesn't tease or make fun of her friends and loved ones, she doesn't truly love them. At least that's how she sees it.
You'd do your best not to get on this demi-goddess' bad side. She has a temper like no other and will not hold her punches when vengeance has entered the chat. You know what they say about a woman scorned. With a goddess like Sekhmet as her Legacy, known for being the sun god Ra's vengeful manifestation of power, she's the last person you want to go toe-to-toe with.

Keani can will themselves to stay dry in water, extract water straight from petrified seashells, create oxygen bubbles underwater for people who cannot breathe underwater, and harden water to form solid ground to walk on or shields. They even can make giant fists of water that mimic whatever they do, which can be used to grab enemies or smash the enemies into the ground. ∞ Hydrokinesis sub-ability: Water Immunity If she falls into the water, she will be immune to water pressure. Additionally, she can breathe underwater for unlimited amounts of time and see in the darkness underwater. ∞ Hydrokinesis sub-ability: Heat Immunity (limited) She has a higher resistance to fire and burns than regular people. ∞ Hydrokinesis sub-ability: Water Transportation She can use sea waves as a form of high-speed transportation. ⊁⊁⊁ Electrokinesis: They have limited control over lightning, such as sparks as their hurricane increases in power. Their control, however, is far less than that of a child of Zeus. ⊁⊁⊁ Communication Keani has divine authority over their father's subjects and can speak both telepathically and normally with them underwater. ∞ Communication sub-ability: Zoolingualism (limited to Equestrians and Marine Life): They can understand and talk to marine animals, equines, and similar creatures.
⊁⊁⊁ Watercraft Manipulation When in salt water, she always knows her exact nautical coordinates, wherever she is (such as in water or on a ship or boat). She has the telekinetic ability to control boats and ships. She also knows exactly how to work the boats and what all the parts do. ⊁⊁⊁ Heliokinesis Keani can heal themselves or others by using solar elements, thanks to the granted power of her legacy Sekhmet, daughter of the sun god Ra. Limited to daytime hours. Unable to use this ability without direct sunlight. ⊁⊁⊁ Eye of Ra They can enter a sort of berserker state, though once in it they have little to no control over themselves and it can last for several minutes at a time. Increased strength stemming from a fit of vengeful rage, a power lent by the Egyptian goddess Sekhmet. They would be significantly drained of their power and would need to recharge, potentially even taking days to recover to their full strength.

Short for Magma. ⊁⊁⊁ While Keani is fluent in both English and Greek, she also has a fairly good understanding of the French language, though speaking it in complete sentences is slightly more difficult for her. ⊁⊁⊁ ∞ Much like her elder half-brother Greyson, Keani owns her own mechanical cat. A lioness, to be exact. Once Keani saw Grey with Sheba, she knew she had to have her own. She commissioned her mechanical big cat from Grey's friend Ky'vie and gave the white lioness the name Seze.
