Amelia was just a tad bit surprised when a new person appeared and called out to Checkbook in such a friendly familiar manner. Turned out to be another woman. Frankly Amelia wasn't sure quite what to think of her from the get go. She was dressed in what would amount to a casual regular style for the world they live in and had a few different accessories on her. The way she spoke, meant that she and Nikki were probably on rather good terms though.” I see. I won't venture into the forbidden parts.” She replied. This was going to take a little while to get used to the new numbers of people constantly around. If most of them were nice as Nikki, it might be easier to do so.

“Hello... Nice to meet you too. I'm Amelia.” Amelia replied quietly as the woman greeted them, so she did so in return. Riley went as far as to offer a hand to shake, a hand which was taken. Amelia quickly followed suit to do so as well, though a little careful. She was finding being among so many unknown people a little bit nerve straining. Still the friendliness they were shown so far from Nikki and at least the tone of this new woman made things appear slightly better. She also looked at Riley who offered to play something on a guitar if they had any. That... was actually a good idea, one that Amelia approved off. She hadn't had the chance of hearing Riley play in an eternity.

“See you later, Nikki.” Amelia said as she watched the girl bolt away, leaving her and Riley in the care of the new woman, Lisa. Amelia didn't take the sarcrastic comment to heart. She was partly at fault for it after all, being too quiet and all when the girl went out of her way to invite them to sit with her and chat.

Lisa smiled at Riley as she took her offered for a handshake hand. She also took the other girls. It was obvious the two of them were among the ones who had to shave their heads upon arrival at the Quarantine. They were alive and well, that was all that mattered though.

“Ohh? You play the guitar? Professionally or...?” Lisa asked of Riley when she heard the woman propose to display her skills later. She wasn't too into music, she didn't really follow any bands or specific styles of music back in the day, still the skill to effectively play a music instrument wasn't something just anyone had. It was probably a skill worthy of preserving honestly just as everything else. Survival skills were of great importance, but the simple act of making music was as well. She wasn't really interested in learning it though.

“Righto. Pay attention, I'm sure someone will screw up royaly and do something dumb at some point or another.” Lisa grinned to Checkbook as the girl bolted away. She then calmly took her seat, setting down her tray and taking a few bites from the food.” So you two are quite chatty?” She asked clearly joking here.” No worries, I'm a good listener!” Lisa proudly proclaimed, looking at the two hairless women.

“So, the two of you are new here. I assume you got your tour about the place. How do you like it so far?” She asked, chatting them up with a friendly smile, but then decided to not ask that.” Actually scratch that, answer that question after a few weeks here. Why not tell me about yourselves? I got that you play music, got any other hobbies enjoy even now?” She asked Riley and looked at Amelia who was still quietly eating, trying to not stand out presumably? Was she shy or just bad with people? Maybe both or maybe she just didn't like talking?” What about you, Little Mermaid? I know the evil witch didn't take your voice.” She added since she had clearly heard Amelia speak up earlier even if it was brief and queit.

'Sure enough.' Mosi thought when the man started giving out names to Nancy. The American had suspected he should be tied to those names, but hearing him say it was quite a whole different kind of feeling she had to be honest. Admittedly they only had his own words to it, but with the thing she had witnessed in the last little while, she was actually believing him. So that guy was Baron Samedi... or Papa Legba. He didn't appear to be in a rush to explain himself, she was leaning towards Baron Samedi though. At least one mystery solved sort of, powerful and dangerous loa tied to death. Dangerous combination he was.

The worst thing was that no matter how much she tried to think of anything, she couldn't come up with a solution to what to propose to him aside her soul that could be useful for negotiation with this entity. As far as she could figure it out, the only thing he'd be really interested of hers would be the soul.

Somehow tables turned with Lauren of all people suggested brewing moonshine. Mosi looked at the woman with surprise and realization especially as the man agreed to it should she actually manage to do it. Well... more likes to the Baron it was. She glanced at the cigar he had and that brought her attention that she herself could really go for a puff herself. She reached into ther pocket and pulled her smoking pipe along with the small bag where she kept the tabacco. Her gaze locked on the tabacco for a good long moment. Pondering an idea... if Lauren could deal with moonshine, could tabacco do the same? Somehow she was doubting if the quality of the tabacco would be to the standard of his cigar. Still it was a possibility and she had personally selected this tabacco for it's quality.

“Excuse me, Baron.” Mosi started with calm voice.” I noticed you appear to have a fine taste for tabacco. While unsure of how mine would compare to yours, was wondering if you'd be interested in it? It's some of the best I've collected in my travels.”

It all went to hell. God damned it went to hell. One moment Constantin was preparing mentally to do whatever was needed and stand vigil to the end no matter what Veta's actions accomplished. The next moment there something strange happening, with a vision of another place almost like. As the world around them started to vanish away, the church where they fought the creature was gone. Then it was replaced with what appeared to be ruins!

It was sudden, weird, unnatural, dangerous and weirdly dangerous! He looked about in haste, alerted. People were missing! What had happened to those who weren't with them!? One of the men, the guy who had handed Veta water earlier was present though and appeared just as alarmed as Constantin was.

Virginia seemed rather fond of the area they were in. Constantin himself wasn't as keen on the surrounding waters though. As someone who had a certain great distaste of deep waters and the dangers lurking in those, seeing the surroundings with so much water, much of which he couldn't judge the depth of from the current position, wasn't a welcoming sight. To each his own, he supposed. It was pretty in a way yes, be he'd personally prefer it with a lot more fire, ash and embers rather than cold chilling water." It's indeed pretty.." He agreed as well in the end, didn't mean he liked the water any better.

“Don't knov.” Constantin replied to Veta who asked about the fate of the rest.” Ve appeared here, they aren't. They could have been left behind or maybe they appeared at another place?” He proposed. He was honestly out of his depths here. Weird world traveling was not his thing. It was Ludwig's. On the topic of Ludwig, Constantin realized that Dieter, the ferret not the brother, was with him when this happened.

“Deiter, you here?” He asked and started looking about. He was still a little bit rattled by what transpired so he looked at the location the ferret last stood on him.

Myako Arashi

Myako casually handed out cups of sake to the interested and also started to drink of her own cup. All was good with the world. Some weren't taking the drinks, but that was their own right. In the end it was still fine. She enjoyed it and that was all that mattered. As the head captain walked in, Myako looked at her for a moment when the topic of putting away the alcohol was brought." Alright." She shrugged and downed the rest of the cup in a single motion, putting it away, taking in the expression of someone who was decently focused on the task of listening. After all the alcohol didn't really affect her negatively in any way with the degree of her power and constitution at this point.

The news that were given were rather concerning with the gravity of the situation. Myako raised an eyebrow as she listened. A Vasto Lorde was here? That... how the hell did that happen? She was a captain after all, while some of the lower ranked Shinigami might not have seen even a Gillian since they joined she had and Adjuchas as well. Vasto Lorde was a whole different breed. There were 5 of those? Was the entire population of Vasto Lordes of Hueco Mundo trying to leave? She frowned, each one of those was repotedly stronger than a captain this might be a problem. What was even more problem was the fact that it was keeping a low profile, with it's goal unknown, but that might not need be a bad thing per say. They were intelligent, so there should be reason for it to be here and they could get information if they find it. It might be willing to speak out it's reasons who knew.

"I'm going to start the hunt the one within Soul Society right away. However if a Vasto Lorde is here, we should probably assume that at least Gillians or regular hollows in greater numbers might show up as well at it's beck and call." Myako eventually said when the breifing was more or less over. They needed a hunter to do this and she was the closest thing they had to a hunter. She enjoyed such a chase and the game of it. The only possible negaive was that if a fight broke out, her own power and attack would cause an absurd amount of collateral damage, but it was innevitable.

"It's going to take a while, especially if it really wants to stay hidden, but I will track it down." She added and stretched her arms before fixing her belt that was starting to get a bit loose." Anyone wants to join me for the hunting process?" She asked and looked at those around the room. Her eyes that were usually lazy now had burning flames of anticipation dancing in them. Her inner huntress was roused from it's sleep. Her Zampakuto was anticipating this as well. This was going to be a worthy adversary and prey!

Amelia was a little bit startled by Checkbook's comments at first, she had always been bad with crowds of people around her. She got uncomfortable and nervous. Not to say she didn't like being with people, she just got embarrassed about doing anything cause she was sure she'd make a fool out of herself. Now though it turned out even worse, she was completely and totally out of communication practice. She took a bite as Checkbook was told that there was work to be done. Amelia felt awkward about her leaving without them having talked any after she had invited them to join her.

"Sorry..." Amelia said to the girl with a little bit of uncertain voice. She looked about before returning her eyes." It's been... a while. Since..." She couldn't quite bring herself to mention Newnan again. It showed on her face as a pang of bad memories, but she closed her eyes and pushed them away and changed the subject." I've always been bad at... communicating much, especially with many people around." She forced herself to explain, feeling her cheeks flush about having to explain what she was bad at. Given the world had nearly ended and all of them could be dead soon, shyness wasn't quite the most useful of traits to have, but she couldn't help it too much. She was at least somewhat better than before. If not, she might not have even managed to explain this right now.

She also couldn't help, but let out a chuckle when the topic was brought up about old men telepathy skills! She also swallowed a mouthful of food before she spoke up again." Maybe we could speak more later at the beach if you want... it would be easier to sit a lil bit away from the crowds." Amelia tried to suggest. Though at that point Checkbook would probably be already up with her own friends. Still it didn't hurt to try to build up good relationships at least! Good relationships helped keep one safe.

Lisa stretched her arms and neck as she walked up to the entrance of the Mess Hall. It's been one hectic day today. With the new arrivals final discharge from Quarantine, there was simply a lot of activity happening all across the camp. Even now they were preparing for the beach party at the beach. She approved of the idea of a beach party. The beach was maybe one of the best parts of having your settlement be at the coastline. Having their very own beach to play at or simply chill at was a blessing. What's more ocean access ensured a lot of the food they'd need. All was good in the world! In any case, since the camp now had new faces, they were going to be meeting very soon. She'd get to see them from up close at the party.

And like that with a smile on her face she walked into the building, ready to get a meal for the day. She had skipped lunch for a few different reasons, but that didn't matter since they would be having more than enough of a hearty meal tonight. Inside the hall, she was greeted with the usual familiar scene of people milling about, getting their food, returning trays, chatting and so on. It was nice to experience the liveliness like this in such a world. Almost all the familiar faces to a degree after living in this enclosed community for this long. Then there were the few faces that she could swear she's never seen before. Yeah as she took herself the tray with normal amount of food cause she was hungry like starving wolf right now, she spotted Checkbook on one of the tables. There were two unfamiliar women with her.

Lisa calmly walked over to talk with the girl and see the two new ones in camp. Yeah thinking about it, this was their first night of freedom after the quarantine. Ahh the memories. She mused for a moment." Hey, Nikki. What's up?" She greeted and asked with a smile and looked at the other two." Hello you two. You must be two of the group. Nice to meet you, name's Lisa. Hope you will settle in well." She greeted them, as she studied them for a moment.

And the whole situation wasn't looking about the brightest right about now. She made a pondering face, thinking about the way things stood right about now. She also threw a glance at Mahendra who was using her as convenient protection against what she assumed was the snake's presence? Did she have the power to ward off snakes? Hell no, but if it made the man feel better might as well let him to it for the moment. There was no hurt in acting as a barrier to block line of sight or simply standing between them. She knew snakes could be dangerous, very much so, still it wasn't a reason to hate or fear them in general. What's more they had their uses. Detective man also wasted no time into getting to the point, a thing he could respect to a degree. However that was not the way to address and talk to being of unknowable power. Especially when said being hadn't really gone out of his way to actually offend you either.

In any case, whomever this guy was, be it Baron Samedi, Papa Legba or maybe someone else entirely, didn't give a specific reply to her question, but from what he did say to the woman who offered Loki's pendant, she got enough of clues. Naturally values shifted depending on the requests and she as well assumed on the mood of this guy which was honestly his right. He did seem to like that pendant and souls apparently.

That little exchange, really made Mosi ponder the identity of that woman. She didn't like this feeling of not being aware at least partially of what's happening. The woman wanted him to supposedly be a guide to this place and while Mosi was approving of the idea since she was just thinking what it would cost to get some directions to the closest place with inhabitants they could actually rest and maybe get some more answers. If the man would be willing to be their guide it would be great, just question was what it would cost cause she wasn't sure if that pendant even as great as she assumed it was given it's origin, would be enough to move him. Guy was speaking with Nancy, so Mosi was pondering if she should speak out for a moment. In the end she sank into thought. Honestly she briefly pondered returning back and what it would take, but that thought quickly vanished as it had appeared. She doubted she'd get another chance to come to this world if she somehow happened to leave. Better stay, explore, learn and experience.

Constantin frowned very heavily as he heard Vlad's description of what had transpired when the man had attempted to use astral projection. There was a lot of weird stuff going on, this was not something he had heard of that skill accomplishing... at least he didn't believe he had heard something like that. This was part of the unknown after all, but this was too weird. He then pondered the thing of the surroundings in the astral world. No... buildings? Why? Suddenly a thought came to him. If they were to take a single thing that had changed since the past it would be... the haze. Could that be the case? There was also weird creature they killed, but haze seemed to fit more on the world being wrong. He had no explanation why astral projection felt solid though. Sadly he just wasn't a philospher or a sage or something similar of that nature. He didn't voice his ponderings though at least not for the moment.

Then his eyes lit up in joy as he saw Dieter, the ferret not the brother, appear from his hiding place nearby! Constantin sighed in relief as he looked at the adorable smart little guy that was now perched on his shoulder." They there little guy. I'm sorry this happened." He said to the ferret, looking at it's small eyes." Glad you are unhurt." One problem was solved, he would have felt really bad if the ferret had also died. He would have felt real bad towards Ludwig for not being able to protect his little partner in crime." Vill you be going vith us nov?" Constantin asked the ferret. He had started to believe the little guy was quite more intelligent than ordinary animals. It always seemed to fully understand them! Such a bright, loyal companion it was! He again felt sadness about Ludwig's passing.

Suddenly the crazy returned as flowers appeared, voices about searching for life elsewhere and then Veta started mumbling about threes. Was this some kind of rule of 3? What was going on. She even drew a weird flower in the ashen floor before reaching out a hand to Vlad and Virginia. Now Constantin was REALLY concerned as his face displayed his worry and he looked at Veta. She didn't even explain anything, but he would be with wood for brain if he didn't figure out something was happening.

"Grand Duchess? Vhat's this ab..." He started asking, voice filled with worry. What was the woman planning now!? Didn't she understand how much they all worried about her back in the Circus? Why wasn't he included or even given a simple word of explanation what she's trying to do? Maybe he could help! If nothing else he wouldn't need to worry like he was now. Cold sweat was running down his spine." Hov can I help!?" In the end he decided to just trust her and didn't ask about what's happening and switched to how he can aid them.

Amelia was pondering what and if they should do in the little time before the dinner. Having asked the priest a question, she was pleasantly surprised when he replied. So they would all be woken up and the assignments would have already been delivered by then. So they didn't have to try to wake too early per say as to find it in time. That was actually rather nice thing to be happening. Then the subject was brought to dogs and Amelia frowned, her face turning very serious as the man explained where she should look for the schedule of where and when the dogs are being walked about. She made a thinking face and nodded to him." Thank you. I will make sure to look at it and remember it." She added, that knowledge was one of the more important things she had to know! Hopefully using that and with some carefulness, she would avoid all those demonic creatures.

Then she turned to Riley who proposed they should head for the mess hall first anyways. Well that was fine as well, Amelia decided." Mmm okey let's get dinner first. I suppose there's no need to wander about on empty stomach ." She nodded as they started to head off in that direction. She could have used the tiny window of time to walk around the area a little bit first, but that could be left for later as well. What's more since they were going to be living here from now on, there would be plenty of time to get about the camp.

In the mess hall it seemed lively. Amelia hadn't seen so many people at one place gathering for a while after all. It was almost unreal at first as different emotions and thoughts rushed through her mind. The food that was displayed was varied and it was actually quite nice. The setup was familiar enough as well. Taking a tray as well, she put some food on it, nothing too much since they would have more food later at the beach party thing, so no need to stuff herself to overfill. She did put on the tray a little bit of a few different things though. Variety was something she hadn't had in a while after all! As they were headed off to find seats, the attention was pulled by the girl they met at the quarantine, Checkbook if she remembered it right. They were being called to seat with her if they wanted. Amelia looked at Riley who agreed and Amelia nodded as well." Alright, thank you." She added with somewhat quiet voice. Amelia wasn't comfortable generally in places with many people since she was still somewhat shy. Still the fact they were called to seat by someone was a nice thing. This meant that there was the possibility for good relationship and even friendship... right? Thus she hurried over to take a seat as well.

And now sitting on the tables with many people about and someone who invited them to sit by her, Amelia found herself face to face with her old nemesis. Ohh yes, she had no idea how to actually start a chat and the more she tried to think of what to say, the more stupid it sounded in her mind, so she looked down at the tray, as if she was trying to stare a hole through it for a while. Then she threw a look about." There are a lot of people here..." She mumbled out and then just wanted to dig herself a hole. 'Focus on eating! Let Riley do the talking!' She reached a conclusion in her head, feeling her cheeks and ears turn red from the embarrassment of having said something so pointless moments earlier. Why did talking get so much harder whenever it was to new people?
Vala nodded at the Celestian's reply to her question. This was a weirdly long and detailed in explanation reply, especially weird for it to come out of their glorious leader here. Vala was under the impression that she wasn't used to speaking unless it was truly important. Thus this was a pleasant surprise quite indeed. She had thought about it, the shism in the Cult Mechanicus was it. THat was a possibility that deserved to be explored more in full at a later date should the situation allow for it. Her coming in contact with some of htose more liberal and inventive Priests of the Mechanicus could be the way to introduce some damn innovations within this imperium or at least within their lil corner of the Inquisition that they were occupying right now. She made a mental note to explore that possibility later within reasonable situations of course. Least any crazy tech priests show up.

The mission details were revealed better now and Vala frowned as she thought about it." If we are uprooting Chaos, do we have a timeline of the emergence of said Chaos elements upon the planet?" She asked, wondering how detailed the supposed intelligence they had was." I mean, do we have potential estimates of the degree of infiltration or should we proceed by the usual 'all are guilty until proven otherwise' course of action here?" This was a rather big thing to know, Vala thought. The inquisition had the freedom to request god damned orbital bombardment with ordinance that can wipe the planet clean. She knew that some of the inquisition agents in charge weren't as gun ho about exterminatus, but others would have the planet bombed before anyone could said: interrogate.
Myako Arashi

Soul Society was as always bustling with life in a way. It may not have been the greatest experience of existance, but there were people here. They were all miling about, doing their own things. Some did jobs of different kinds, others just spend their times however they saw fit. Even the thieves were being active! Honestly sometimes they were told to tell souls that this place was a paradise, it was not quite it.

"Nee-sama, will you tell us another story?" A small girl asked in one of the side alleys, as she and about half a dozen other children, were surrounding a woman in a washed out pink dress with floral patterns. The dress looked old, having seen the endless passage of time. Despite it's washed out colors and clearly old status, it was not too bad otherwise. It was still intact and the parts of it that may have been damaged once upon a time, were very carefully and neatly repaired and restored. Some of the children were orphans, others were in families. Didn't make a difference as they always seemed to flock to her whenever she appeared.

"Sure!" She replied with a smile as she started telling them stories of distant lands, weird inventions, outlandish creatures of bizzare proportions and many other things. The kids had fun while she handed out water and food to them. Some of the kids ate it now, others stored it for later to bring home. All in all, they were always gifted something whenever this woman appeared. She'd bring food, toys or clothing to them. She'd stay for a few days and then vanish, reappearing days or weeks later.

This time too, she told them stories of distant lands and weird people who wielded strange powers going on adventures. In the end she send them to head off and start playing. The woman was sitting on a simple stool, watching the children scurry off, chasing each other, pretending to be shinigamis and fighting imaginary hollows. She smiled at the sight, as 2 figures clad in black appeared behind her. She didn't stood up from her spot, neither did she turn to look at them. She simply didn't acknowledge them right now.

"CAPTAIN ARASHI!" One of the figures in black who turned out to be shinigami shouted and bowed." A meeting has been called. All currently appointed captains and lieutenants are to gather." The man explained as he didn't dare look up at the womah who was still ignoring them. She had snuck off from the barracks again. She always did that and they'd have to scatter all across Soul Society and even beyond the city boundries too look for her. This time they luckily found her in time.

Myako didn't turn towards them, instead she just lazily nodded and very slowly stood up from the stool. With a flick of her wrist, the elegant pink dress was undone easily and slipped off her body, revealing a set of black shinigamy uniform underneath. The dress was quickly folded and handed to one of the shinigami who came to call for her. She then reached a hand, but neither of the two helpers moved. She narrowed her eyes and shook her hand a little to remind them to act. Suddenly having been reminded, they snapped to attention and helped her put on her sleeveless Captain Haori on. She shrugged her shoulders a little until the thing was barely hanging off the tips of her shoulders. With this somewhat sloppy, somewhat flirty and somewhat freegoing look, she used Flash Steps to move back in the direction of the Seiretei and towards the meeting place.

It didn't take long to arrive and not to her surprise, some were already present. Shion,Shizu Okirigae and Taro were already present. The first one seemed to be meditating so she didn't bother her and turned to the other three." Hey." She greeted them as she found her spot and without any care in the world simply sat down in the most relaxing manner possible, Zampakuto hanging off her left wrist on a string and a jug of sake on the right wrist." Anyone want some?" She asked and raised the jug.
