As the ground team secured their targets, Ijin allowed himself a moment of introspection as he observed the goings on from his sniper's perch. The Gweldite wasn't 100% sure, but he certainly wouldn't be surprised if other humans questioned whether or not what they were doing was morally sound.

In their rush to pursue their quarry, two of his fellows had commandeered a food truck and subsequently allowed it go up in smoke. Such a thing likely meant the complete destruction of the rightful owner's livelihood. At best, the proprietor was properly insured and had enough emergency cash tucked away to make this little more than an inconvenient mishap. At worst, they had just ruined someone's life. He doubted such irresponsible behavior was considered moral among humans.

Then their was the target himself to consider. Cho-Tyrek was an assassin of the Ashen Knives who apparently wanted out of the business. And yet here Ijin and his team were, tracking Cho down to drag him back to his employers. At best, they were going to sink their hooks back into the man as deep as they could go. At worst, he would be made a long, slow, demonstrative example to his former colleagues of what happens when one of them tries to walk away. Either way, Ijin felt that human observers would consider his team's hand in bringing about either outcome to be immoral.

And last, but by no means least, was the matter of why Cho decided to walk away.

The assassin's Urbot charge seemed to be childlike both in nature and in form. Ijin knew of a habit that humans possessed. One that compelled them to see things that look and act like children to actually be children. Even when all other indicators showed that they were obviously not children. Ijin found this the easiest aspect to find the immorality in. Rare was the species that saw harming children as anything other than an utterly reprehensible act of evil.

All in all, Ijin could see how other humans would find what they were doing to be immoral.

The Gweldite himself didn't see it that way though.

In both his eyes and the eyes of the rest of his species, serving one's Purpose was the ultimate moral justification. In the serving of one's Purpose, even what would normally be the direst of sins could be forgiven. Ijin recalled that the humans had a colloquial term to describe such a mindset. 'Blue and Orange Morality' or something along those lines.

The sound of sirens shook the sniper from his introspection then. Knowing that being being seen by District Security would bring them nothing but trouble, Ijin collapsed Finbl into its portable mode as he looked out across the city. The xeno's perfect long distance sight and vision across all of the electromagnetic spectrum allowing him to attempt to map an escape route back to the Cerberus for the rest of his team.

Sorry for the delay. Ran into something of a creative snag. I'll try to have something up before the weekend is done.
Hm, that's a lot for a single downtime. Would you be amenable to rolling Ashley and Jesse's scenes into the Downtime Move? Mechanically speaking, you don't need a Tie Scene to increase your tie with a character unless the bond is already at level 3, so you could still update your bonds with both of them based on that.

Ok then. In that case, we can condense those three scenes into one.

As far as the Call In A Favor move, did you want to draw for that now?

I'd like to wait until I'm actually making the move and draw for it then.
does anyone else need anything?

I am hoping for the following:

• A Tie Scene with Ashley.
• A Tie Scene with Jesse.
• A use of the Call in a Favor Downtime Move to have Jesse look into why Ashley is having trouble changing her surname.
• A Tie Scene with Emily.
• A Tie Scene with The Crow.
Miss Light

Miss Light blinked in utter shock when she saw how quickly Morgran had gotten his hands on food and drink. The half-elf was well aware by now that the dwarf worked quick when food and alcohol was involved, but she could never get over the fact that he could have such things in his hand in a little bit over the time it took to blink. Miss Light had asked Arkerym on several if Morgran had cast some sort of spell to acquire food so swiftly. But every time, the Hexblade had informed her with great amusement that no magic was in effect.

The dwarf was just that fast.

Miss Light managed a small nod of acknowledgement before Morgran set off to find a table. Once she was alone, Miss Light looked around as she tried to decide what to do here first. A decision that would ultimately be made for her as a silence fell over the crowd. Miss Light followed the gaze of the onlookers to where an ambiguously eladrin beauty was preparing to perform. When the performance began, Miss Light was initially taken aback by the lyrics of the performer's song. Since no one else seemed to mind though, Miss Light decided she could forgive some minor morbidity. Soon enough, the half-elf had joined in on the dancing along with everyone else. Though she was a better dancer than most, Miss Light made sure to hold back a little so as not to risk upstaging the performer.

Once the performance was done, Miss Light applauded along with the rest of the crowd. As she did so, she noticed the gnome in green clothes again. She had been smiling as much as anyone at the carnival who wasn't Miss Light before the show started. But when a hush fell over the crowd, the gnome's smile had been quick to vanish from her face. Curious as to why this was, Miss Light attempted to think about the gnome from a more insightfu-

All previous thoughts immediately vacated Miss Light's mind as she laid eyes on the most breathtakingly adorable sight she had ever seen. Accompanying the gnome was what undoubtedly had to be the cutest frog in the entire multiverse. Its big round orange eyes and friendly smile entranced Miss Light in an instant and compelled her to gravitate towards the critter in question.

No worries. You can't rush perfection, after all.

Out of curiosity, is the gnome in green clothing accompanied by an adorable white frog?
