Who came up with the idea to make our statuses quotes from philosophers, anyway?

We could be doing something productive with our lives... instead, we're here.

A random quote from some philosopher that we'll forget in a few moments.

As Damien charged at Castle, a hulking figure had moved in front of Damien and forced the ground to shake with her strength. This caused Damien to slide to a halt and examine his first real opponent. An "Amazon", she called herself. Well, there was no doubt that she was confident and had the strength to back it up, which meant that Damien would most likely have a good and challenging fight against her. The thought of it made Damien grin. After all, how could he resist such fun?

"Nice to meet ya," Damien greeted. "My name's Damien, the guy who'll beat your face in like those two." Then he spun around to the left, delivering another backhanded punch, even more powerful than the first one and filled with centrifugal force, to the two bandits that had tried to rush Damien from behind. The blow smashed into one bandit's ribcage, breaking quite a few ribs on one side and possibly killing him, and causing his body to fly off to the side. Damien then ducked under a sword swing from the second bandit and delivered an uppercut to the bandit's stomach, knocking him onto his back and forcing him to cough up blood.

Damien then turned back to the Amazon Olivia and raised his right fist in front of him. "Your turn," Damien said right before he rushed in and pulled back his fist to launch a right straight at Olivia's face, followed up by a barrage of punches.
So... how's the collab coming along?

Also, this:

Name: Facade
Spell type: Normal
Effect: Banish one monster from your hand or deck face-up, then target one face-up monster you control. Until the End Phase, the targeted monster's name is treated as the banished monster's name.
Same here. It's taken far too long to get anything done.
There's just been a lot of inactivity there.
Sounds interesting.
Finally finished my post that I definitely wasn't too lazy to write up until today.
Conna'Cel powered back up from his standby mode as the others returned from the kitchen, along with a new guest as well. "It appears it is now time to move," Conna'Cel stated, following Marianne into a room in which the outside of the door had a few black feathers scattered nearby. Wondering what sort of danger was inside this room, Conna'Cel readied his energy blade on his right arm as he followed Marianne inside. Truth be told, though, he was not expecting a crucified girl with the floor completely littered with black feathers. Picking one of them up with his left hand, Conna'Cel gave it a quick scan, the results revealing it to be from a Common raven. As for the girl that Marianne was now antagonizing, Conna'Cel walked over to her and said, "Well, you are certainly not in a good predicament, are you?"

Conna'Cel put his left hand to his chin as he began weighing the risks and rewards of freeing the girl. There was always the chance that she could be a threat, though it didn't seem like it. The girl certainly didn't have the build to pose a threat in physical combat, though he was aware that appearances were not everything, especially not in this labyrinth of a mansion. Naturally, his decision was to leave the girl alone. To Conna'Cel, he had nothing to gain from freeing the girl, and he wasn't willing to take the risk in case she was a threat. So, he left the decision to free Lusso for another person.

Shawn just kept running as he was dragged along by one of the two twins, not even turning back to unleash a blast of demonfire or two. Survival was his top priority, and Shawn felt that by running fast enough, he would most likely do just that. Soon he and the others arrived at the location the main group was, and after reaching a somewhat safe place, Shawn helped Scarlet hold the door back as he took a look at everyone around him. There were quite a number of oddballs here, too. There was what seemed to be a robot, a girl with a mysterious dark aura, another rather cute dark-haired girl, yet another cute girl bound to a cross with silver chains... it was clear that there were a lot of girls here.

Gorgonzolla was wary of everyone here. To him, all of them were a threat, particularly Marianne. He wasn't sure how powerful she was, but he did get the feeling that she was not one to be trifled with. Shawn, you better be taking this seriously. Keep an eye on everyone here, especially that one, Gorgonzolla said in Shawn's mind, directing his attention to Marianne. "Don't worry, Gorgy, I've always been taking this seriously," Shawn said out loud, forgetting that only he could hear Gorgonzolla's voice in his mind. Gorgonzolla was unconvinced by Shawn's answer, but let it slide, considering the situation they were now in.
Damien tried to enjoy his meal in peace, but it seemed that fate had other plans for the group. Loud crashes and banging was heard as boulders smashed the ground, including one that smashed its way through the roof of the house, destroying the living room nearby. Damien, startled, flinched quite violently and covered his face with his arm in an attempt to shield himself from flying debris. "Jeez, what the hell was that?!" Damien yelled in surprise. The question was quickly answered by the farmer, revealing the catastrophe to be the work of the infamous bandits. Damien raised an eyebrow as he heard the answer; clearly, these attackers were not the average bandits if they had this kind of firepower.

Damien was also surprised when Ezekiel charged toward a window and leapt into it, smashing it open as he flew out. However, Damien quickly recovered from the shock and chuckled as he walked over to the now broken window. Damien then looked out the window, spotting the farmer on the dirt, and said to him, "Man, you might be as crazy as those bandits if you're gonna pull this kinda stunt. Even I would've just kicked the front door open."

With the path open to him, though, Damien saw no reason not to follow the farmer out and climbed through the hole after him, careful to avoid the broken glass. Taking a good look at the farmer to check for injuries, Damien dismissively said, "Ehh, looks like you're alright," then he began to look around for the would-be bandits. Damien soon spotted them on the hill where the sun was setting, with one of them declaring the attack. Damien made the reasonable assumption that he was undoubtedly the leader of these bandits, and a lopsided grin appeared on Damien's face. "I'll take the head honcho over there," Damien said confidently as his limbs transformed into their demonic state. Damien then wasted no time dashing forward, straight towards Castle.

A couple of the bandits in the first assault turned their attention towards Damien and began to swing their swords at him. Damien merely yelled, "Get outta my way!" as he swung a backhanded right fist at the two, smashing them aside as he continued charging forward, yelling as he planned to swing punch after punch at Castle, beginning with a right straight.
Hey @Leaves, I assume it's alright to do what we want with the first nine bandits, right?
Leander Xenovia

Leander was still a little confused about the situation, but it seemed like there was no longer time to think about the issue as Shinrei appeared on the scene. Leander gave Shinrei a friendly wave and smile, which Shinrei seemed to ignore, of course, as he only spared his time for his sister Tsukiko. "Leaving? Where ya going?" Leander asked the two, but they didn't answer. Shiyu went on to apologize about his rant before running off back to class. Leander didn't know what to make of this. Friends were just leaving left and right... he wasn't sure if he like it. No wait, of course he didn't; however, there wasn't much he felt he could do about it, which felt like a shame to Leander. Still, at least one person was still around.

Turning to Amelia, Leander replied, "Ehh, yeah, we probably should. Can't have Transformer mad at us, after all." Leander then extended an open hand towards Amelia and displayed a wide grin as he said, "Let's get a move on."
