So I have been on the Guild for a long, long, long, long, long, long, LONG time. I first joined the OldGuild around, my best guess would be 2012? I've been active in the Star Wars scene on the Guild since then, there have been very few games based around that genre that I haven't at least nosed my way in on. My very first game was a Star Wars game and that's what actually really got me into the Star Wars Franchise.

It's weird to think but I am such a major Star Wars nerd these days, yet before I was on the Guild I wasn't. I got into a Star Wars RP, got onto the Wikia, and then away I went into a spiral of nerd-om that I currently live within. I've grown since then, I game quite a bit, I write when I can. I have a wikia full of a lore to my own original creative universe and play around with some 'cool' comic book nerds.

Okay I couldn't really throw more on than that as I'm exhausted, but I'm keeping things moving.
Aboard the Milkyway

Kells walked the corridors. Two BX-Commando droids flanking him. They gathered stares as they past, as they always did. Some looked upon them in awe, others in noticeable distrust. He didn't care. The Clone Wars were long over, the skirmish between the New Republic and Separatist Union were done. They were all allies now. If he recognised the superiority in droids and used them to achieve the best outcome in his missions, that was up too him. He wasn't especially fond of having to work so closely with Jedi, their mission was even hunting down a missing Jedi. He didn't particularly care about their missing master, though if the First Order was making moves then it was better they find out about it as soon as possible so that the Alliance could strike first.

The Empire defeated both the Separatists and the Republic. Now it was coming back for a second round. Allowing it to escalate as far as it already had was a mistake.

Still, he had new arrivals to greet, he wasn't fond of the idea of gaining two new Rangers so close to deployment but he would always take what he could get. Moving towards the hangar, he stood there in plain view waiting for the shuttle with their Captain, the Jedi Knights and his new rangers to come in too land.

Koren sat aboard his shuttle, flipping switches and dials. It turns out the Padawan wasn't going to join him. Not yet at least.

Instead, he was getting some Ranger straight from the Academy, that would meet him on Mandalore, these were delicate negotiations. It was a lot of pressure, and he just hoped he wouldn't mess it up.

Oh god this formatting is just killing me lmao, I missed the tiny "est 2010" under the giant logos.

It's all good my dude. Wraith is known for his formatting.

I wasn't taking a dig at you with the 'snubbing' comment by the way, I was just teasing.

Are details in character sheets, none of which having been accepted yet, set in stone? I can't even find the sheets you're referring to, which I think is undeserving of claiming I'm "snubbing" anything.

EDIT: OK there is a mention of the avengers forming "in the 2010s" in a hider in Cap's sheet.

The details @Lord Wraith referenced are in the Character Tab on information panels.

Fair enough the S.H.I.E.L.D and Argus being formed isn't canon yet (as it's in my sheet) but the founding of the Justice League and Avengers are canon.

Details details

You can't ask for details and then snub details :P

Fate grew up in 1910s England. I actually plan on his, shall we say, problematic past being a part of his character. He was literally one of the Black-and-Tans before he got his powers.

Maybe we need a fictional history for each org.

My idea is like... Avengers were formed as an unofficial alliance of Allied superheroes in WWII. Later grandfathered into SHIELD following the formation of the United Nations.

The Justice League was originally the Justice Society of America, and was also formed after WWII by the likes of Alan Scott, Jay Garrick, Carter Hall, etc. Membership changes and bankrolling from Wayne changed it from basically a drinking club for veteran superheroes into the global defense alliance it is today as the Justice League.

Avengers didn't exist during WWII. The Howling Commandos and Defenders did, as did the JSA.

Argus was the successor to the S.S.R, which is the secret science/secret agent type people. S.H.I.E.L.D is formed in the 50s due to increased political tensions as a public international peacekeeping initiative. They recruited super-powered individuals, similar to Howling Commandos style throughout the Cold War and into the modern age.

They have actually worked with the JL on several occasions prior to the Avengers forming, which only happened after some political backlash against the JL.
Unless you're a member of a Cosmic Law Enforcement Agency...

Damn it Carol! I told you to stop moonlighting as a SpaceCop.

I think we can draw the line between the two as, like:

If you are a superhero and want to do it for a living, you join the Avengers. A paycheck, benefits, insurance, but you have to register with the US government and are ultimately at their beck and call.

The Justice League is pretty different, and is more like a secret society of superheroes. You have to be invited to join, and its membership are more along the lines of aliens, demigods, etc, whose concerns are outside the scope of world governments.

Register with the United Nations. S.H.I.E.L.D is a global peacekeeping taskforce. Technically speaking President Supes isn't Caps boss.

JL is just @Master Bruce paying people to be his friends.

Can't believe nobody's applied for racist Cap in one of these games yet. Get on it, people

why do you think Falcon gets all the bitch work?

Strange.
I wonder how President Superman and Captain America would meet. Since Steve Rogers grew up in 1930s and 40s America, it's quite the eye opener

I'm sure myself and @John Table will hash those deets out.
