So I have been on the Guild for a long, long, long, long, long, long, LONG time. I first joined the OldGuild around, my best guess would be 2012? I've been active in the Star Wars scene on the Guild since then, there have been very few games based around that genre that I haven't at least nosed my way in on. My very first game was a Star Wars game and that's what actually really got me into the Star Wars Franchise.
It's weird to think but I am such a major Star Wars nerd these days, yet before I was on the Guild I wasn't. I got into a Star Wars RP, got onto the Wikia, and then away I went into a spiral of nerd-om that I currently live within. I've grown since then, I game quite a bit, I write when I can. I have a wikia full of a lore to my own original creative universe and play around with some 'cool' comic book nerds.

Doctor Strange isn't your typical superhero. He doesn't really have a secret identity or a second life, most of the time anyway. Over ten years ago, a renowned surgeon Doctor Steven Strange was in a tragic car accident, while he finally managed to recover his hands were wounded to the point where he would never be able to operate again. Unwilling to resort to teaching or theoretical work Steven began looking for possible solutions and cures. Every corner he turned doors were shut in his face. It was impossible and unethical. He was desperate, deranged, obsessed.
He pushed friends and family away and spent his savings on travel, herbal treatments, shamans and consultations. Eventually, he was guided to a man who after an accident had lost the ability to walk. Yet somehow he had regained the ability. Speaking to the mean, and examining his medical charts to deduce that it wasn't some form of scam (it was impossible).
On his last dime Steven Strange finally made his way to Kamar-Taj. Little did he know that this had all been orchestrated by the Ancient One. The banished Atlantean, Ahri'ahn. Ahri'ahn had been Atlantis' protector for hundreds of years, but when he failed to prevent it to sink into the ocean he was banished. Emerging into the world during a time of magic and strife, he founded Kamar-Taj and various sanctuaries around the world to help keep the world safe from errant magic and spirits. When magic was largely wiped out by mortal man within the dark ages, Ahri'ahn kept a handful of sorcerers safe. A vanguard against the threats of a supernatural nature.
Ahri'ahn had divined the future and foresaw a threat of his own making, his fallen apprentice Yao sought to use magic to govern over the world of man. Knowing he himself could not defeat Yao, Ahri'ahn had Steven Strange taught in the mystic arts. It took years, but in the aftermath of the battle, Yao was imprisoned inside the Sanctum Santorum till the end of days.
Since then Strange has seen the return to the age of Superheroes. Working in the shadows to keep the world, and even the heroes, safe from threats far more powerful than they realise.

I've always told the stories of -Bad Guy, needs beat up. Beat them up, everybody I claps, everybody goes home. I have also never delved too heavily into the magical beyond which I've done with Thor and the kind of 'mythological magic' that his world entails. I want to delve into this world of spirits and sorcerers and threats that don't ever see the light of day, and tell it in a more 'villain of the week' kind of overarching stories I've always gone for in the past. Strange is going to find out about something going on and either stop it from happening or find those responsible and put them to justice. Like some form of magical police.
All the while of him doing this he's going to be navigating the slippery slope of trying to keep magic a secret from the world (and the world safe from magic) and the politics of an international consortium of sorcerers all from different nations, with different backgrounds, ethics and cultures.
Rain poured down from the heavens creating rivers from the sidewalk onto the road. Cars rushed by, oblivious to the man standing in the alley. The rain seemed reluctant to land on him, or perhaps it was convinced to not have an effect on him. The man's cloak appeared to billow off its own accord, tugging on him slightly to alert him to another individual approaching, their footsteps muffled by the rain. "I appreciate you calling me in on this Detective Kraye."
The man shrugged. "If the F.B.I wants to be brought in on this and save me a pile of paperwork be my guest. I already have a bunch of cases on my desk." He raised his travel mug and took a sip of coffee. Sighing in relief as the warm bitter liquid did its magic. Raising an eyebrow he looked back at the man standing looking over the body. "Picked a bad day to forget your coat, want me to grab you one? You're soaked through."
His face hidden in shadow Strange smiled slightly as he absent-mindedly fondled the glittering charm hanging from his neck, disguising his true appearance. "Nothing a warm shower won't fix. I'll be fine thankyou, the case comes first."
Detective Kraye pulled his phone out his pocket with nothing more than a muttered 'well okay then' "Vics name is-" -tt-tt-tt- Kraye clicked his tongue as he scrolled down through his file. "-Alfred Rask, 45 out of Brooklyn. Unmarried, no kids. No listed address." Kraye knelt down, looking over the body. Tattered robes lay strewn all around the body, bloody and torn. "Going from his clothes I'd say unemployed, a drifter. Hippy probably."
"-And in your profession do you happen to guess when it comes to life and guess?" The detective turned, a look of scorn on his face.
"I might not be a Special Agent but I've seen my fair share of victims, and my fair share of murders. I've seen it all."
Steven Strange leaned down, making a show of patting down the body. During which his right hand rubbed a symbol from the victim's wrist. "Well I think I have all I need here." Standing up he turned to walk away, Kraye turned.
"What, that's it? You don't need no photos or sketch? Or the body? Are you even taking the case?"
Strange smirked as he put his hands out in front of him, sparks flew between his fingers as if he were playing with sprinklers. "Don't be ridiculous Detective. There is no body, and there is no case."
There was a blinding flash of light, as Kraye looked up at the sky swearing. The thunderstorm had come on all of a sudden, and he was caught out here on foot patrol without so much as a jacket.
Bloody Hell, I gather @Sep found my Tawky Tawny amusing going by my notifications flooded with laughs...
*Clicks laugh*
"Oops, I didn't mean to do that. I meant to...*
*Clicks laugh*
"Hup, there it goes again..."
*Clicks something else*
*Accidentally quote posts the Admin*
"Hup..."
*Reports Guild to Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg*
"My mistake..."
*Baffled FBI agents drinking a thickshake whilst watching @Sep's internet activity*
Don't know why the FBI involved. *laughs nervously* Why would they be watching? *closes other tabs* No they wouldn't. *wipes hard drive*
But for SRS, I did it once on purpose. Then I was like, no wait. It was comedic but I don't want him to think it's like... bad. So I unlaughed it, then I struggled with fat fingers on my phone.
I drive an HGV, there's a certain expected body type.
@Sep I mostly read Marvel as I have the Marvel Unlimited streaming app (might read DC if they come out with something similar). So I’m reading a lot of the current stuff, like Amazing Spider-Man, Avengers, Fantastic Four, all the X-Men related stuff, and Hulk of course. As for older series I’m reading there’s a bunch of classic Star Wars, the 70s horror stuff (currently Frankenstein), the 90s Spider-Girl, Exiles, and Mutant X. I plan to start reading some of the old X-Factor and Guardians of the Galaxy series, as I did have an inkling of an idea for both team. But I’m always looking for more classic series to read, so if you have any suggestions, please let me know.
Its not classic as I can't recommend classic as I don't know a lot of thr classic stuff. Other than Nova which is fun, but because you mentioned it you should check out the current Star Wars stuff. Especially anything by Soule its brilliant.
Decided to hold off on making a second character right now. But I will be reading comic runs of characters I have an interest in to possibly stir up some ideas for the future.
