Present Day:

Gunshot in the distance, shivers running down his spine. At the back of his head he could feel something gnawing at him. Something near, something coming. He grunted and groaned under his breath. He didn't have time for this, or for whatever Renegades still remained. Conor turned one corner after another, every other corner he ran his hand over a symbol on the wall. Walls seemed to shift and move, corridors changed. Adjusting his original route as he climbed up through the tower he came to a keypad on the door to a security console. Keying in the code he slipped in before closing the door behind himself. While the remaining Renegades hadn't changed any of the standard codes. There were still codes and protocols that they didn't have access to.

Moving to the central computer he input his override code as anything that wasn't emergency lighting shut off all throughout the tower. Security doors closed and clicked shut with a resounding thunk. Conor hovered over another option on the console, just labeled Julian Security Contingencies. They ranged in severity from Class 1, to 5. Shrugging he hit the button for one. As he took off at a run out of the room he could hear the whirring of small mechanical bots crawling around the inside of the walls, deploying in the search for intruders. Too which they would consider anyone except Conor as an intruder.

Jumping over some as he ran around a corner he slammed himself into a collection of runes on the floor. The whole hallway twisted and turned as it became inverted, forward became backwards, left became right. Powering down the hallway as best he could without suffering from vertigo he jumped into an elevator shaft. Jumping into the back wall the elevator stopped its already planned descent as the counter balance became ineffective as the gravity ceased to be an issue. Holding onto the wall he pulled himself upwards, twisting as best he could until he was running up the wall. Deeper and deeper into the tower he pushed himself. He sure as hell didn't want to be caught.

Koren stands at 5’8, his eyes a piercing green. Underneath his more royal garments he wears simple Jedi robes to take him back to his robes. Meanwhile his tunic and cape are embroidered with gold, royal garments to denote his station in Hapan society. The whole garment makes him entirely uncomfortable, but it is what is expected of him.

1x DL-44 Heavy Blaster Pistol: Since his role in life has changed, he’s had to adapt to new challenges. A blaster helps.

Form II Mastery: Koren is well experienced at Makashi the duelist form, fluid in the movements of the blade and the art of duelling.
Form III Understanding: Like all Jedi Koren has a rudimentary understanding of Soresu, able to deflect Blaster Bolts with relative ease.
Blaster Training: While he has been training others in use of the Force he has also been trained in the use of a blaster. He is no Clone, Mandalorian or soldier.

Basic Force Understanding: Like most Jedi he has an understanding of telekinetic abilities. He, however, has always struggled with the ability to influence the mind of other beings.
Force Projection: In order to try and connect with the outside Galaxy he started projecting his own image. He struggled at first, only eventually managing to make contact outside the Galaxy with Onderon years later, by which point he was already Prince.
Force Wall: As a bit of a power move/defensive skill he has developed his telekinetic abilities over the year to create a wall/barrier of Force Energy.

Hapan Politics: It may not seem like a Weakness, but despite his belief that he is a Jedi First whether he likes it or not he is tied to Hapes, their policies and their way of life. He knows that he has to act accordingly, as a foreign diplomat as anything he does can reflect on his wife and the place that gave him a home when he had nowhere else to go. There are things he has had to see, and leave alone, for knowing he cannot act to correct the issues.
Out of Touch: While he had some joyous years in Hapes there was always a constant worry for what was going on within the wider Galaxy, he didn’t know what was happening to the Republic or the Jedi Order. While he knows now what factions are in play, he still doesn’t know what happened to the Younglings he was with, or his master.
Hapan Royal Court: The Line of Succession is a brutal game within the Consortium. As Crown Prince within the Consortium, he is under constant threat by some of the more proactive noble families who feel that their heir would be a better candidate. While an act on his life is treason, several have already tried.

Koren is a calm and confident individual. He knows his place in the Galaxy, and his role within it. His time in the Hapes Consortium has changed him, he is more confident and understanding. He is kind and compassionate, and light. While he deviates from the Jedi Code slightly he still believes wholeheartedly in the Light Side of the Force.

He is a peaceful individual with little desire to take part in combat. Preferring to spread the word of peace.

Koren isn’t entirely sure where he is from, he was born and raised at the site of the former Jedi Temple on Coruscant.

| {Background} |
Koren was raised in the Jedi Temple in what was a pretty unspectacular growing up. Like many of the Younglings, he received tutelage by multiple masters in his den. When he became old enough to train he had a relatively unremarkable time undergoing his basic training. He underwent the Gathering on Illum to get his lightsaber crystal, joined as a Padawan under the tutelage to Jedi Knight Wrorror Unduli an Ithorian Jedi. Despite the threat and then the ensuing Clone Wars Koren and his master kept out the majority of the war, neither had the expertise that was deemed vital to the war effort. Instead, they were kept primarily as peacekeepers. They worked a variety of conflicts throughout the Clone Wars on Republic Worlds, always behind the frontline. During the chaos of the Clone Wars he was moved onto a Praxeum ship while Wrorror was healing from an injury.

It was during this time that Knightfall occurred, fearing for the life of himself and the young Initiates Koren had the autopilot of the ship take them into the Hapes Cluster, a sector of space where he decided that they would be safe from any threats. The gasses and various gravitational fields making it difficult to track ships as well as for ships to travel in hyperspace. What they weren’t expecting was a ship far faster than anything they had seen of its class bearing down on them and being boarded. It was then that the Young Jedi discovered the Hapes Consortium. Initially, Prisoners, there was one who saw the potential benefit of having Jedi. The Chume’da, heir to the throne. Allana Tryl, she heard about the plight and the war going on outside the Cluster and feared if the war should ever find them. With her influence, she convinced the ruling Queen Mother to release the Younglings in exchange for Korens continued support in training a new Royal Guard, he gathered up any Force Sensitives within Hapan Space and taught them the basics of using the Force. 

During the years that followed Koren and Allana became close, through her sheer power of will and insistence Koren was thrust into the complicated world of Hapan politics. Under threat as he became consort to the future Queen. He had to continue proving his worth as he fell for the Chume’da. On edge as other noble families had been grooming their own heirs to one day become consort to the Queen. Despite this the fledgeling romance between the Jedi Knight and Chume’da blossomed, eventually leading to marriage between the two individuals of incredibly different backgrounds. The controversy expanded after the marriage, with no Prince currently married to the Queen Mother Hapan Law stated that the consort of the Chume’da, if there should be one, would be the head of the military. Many within the Royal Court fought this law, as this meant that not only was the royal guard trained and maintained by this Jedi Outsider but now the entire military fell under his jurisdiction. Many within the industrial complex had no issue with it, it was their Queens will Afterall and Koren had proved himself formidable and fair through his years as the head of the Royal Guard. Koren tried to convince the Queen Mother to allow him to leave the Cluster, to establish contact with the Republic. For fear that the Jedi Order was hunted and on the run, fear that everything he knew would be gone.

She continued to refuse till the day she died, stating that he was part of the Hapes Cluster now, and that was where his loyalties should lie. Yet despite his marriage, a blatant act against the Jedi Way of Life and his position as commander in chief of the Hapan Military he had always seen himself as a Jedi First. So when the Queen Mother passed and Allana rose to the position, he convinced her that they should establish contact with the outside galaxy. Months later and he is now aboard his cruiser destined for Mandalore. Having made contact with the Republic there, he finds himself nervous for what he's about to find, for what the Jedi Council will think of him and most importantly, what the future holds for him and his union with Hapes.
