Maggie was born to Marc and Elodie Raines, well known doctors in the fields of physics and human psychiatry. From a young age she had to work for very little as her parents - while not rolling in riches - made more than enough money to provide her and her two brothers, Anthony and Miles. While her brothers were completely normal, their childhood milestone activities met at the right times and the right places, Maggie was always a bit off. At first it was small things; a few months behind on being able to walk, wailing when preened upon, but as the years went by the differences between her siblings became prominent. Maggie's first words were spoken shortly after the age of three. Being a psychiatrist, Elodie knew exactly what was wrong but failed to address it, utilizing her coping skills to deny to herself that her daughter wasn't quite so perfect.
At age six, when Maggie was introduced to kindergarten, Elodie and Marc could no longer ignore the issues with their daughter. She was promptly diagnosed with Asperger's autism and inducted into her mother's therapy sessions. It was a mild case, on the far upper end of the spectrum; Maggie's IQ was average and while she had difficulties academically, she was able to take average classes. At age 10, when girls at school realized there was indeed something wrong with the Raines girl, her parents tried to find her an alternative way to deal with her frustrations. Music had always seemed to calm the girl down; her parents went through countless recordings of different instruments, trying to find one Maggie showed interest in.
They found the cello soothed Maggie better than any other instrument and invested their money into the large stringed contraption. She grasped the concept of music and practiced nearly day and night; it didn't take long before she became more than proficient. By her senior year of high school, graduating in the middle of her class no thanks to countless hours of work and studying, Maggie had been offered a partial scholarship to Julliard. Her social skills, though still lacking, had improved enough for her to feel comfortable attending college, though it was far away.

Feelings about meeting their soul mate:
Trepidation. With the date nearly upon her, Maggie has become more frantic and anxious than normal. While she had been happy to wait the twenty years it'd been since she'd learned what the name and date on her wrist meant, it still proves to make the nymph nervous; Maggie has tried to avoid the meeting though she knows it to be futile. She continues to go about her normal routine but she is constantly searching the crowd both hesitantly and curiously, waiting for her arm to burn.
