Bio

Hi! I'm Shade, a girl out of central California. Roleplaying has become a hobby of sorts for me, so here I am on this lovely website. Creative writing is a favorite pastime of mine, so exercising it with the help of other people brings me a lot of joy.

I have school during the day, so I'm usually active from 4-10 P.M. PST.

Roxy nodded and laughed at Aiden, turning her attention to Zorex with a grin. "Of course. You were great out there, little guy!" she said, giving the Gible a thumbs up. She then walked over to Lucina, who was standing over the Pokeball containing the Rockruff that would be joining their team. "And you were awesome, Lucy. I'm so proud of you!" Lucina gave a cheer, then winced a bit from all the scratches on her. Sandstorms definitely weren't her favorite. Roxy picked up her Pokeball and stared at it thoughtfully, before looking back at her Riolu. "We'll get you patched up soon," she said, brushing bits of dirt and sand off of her. "But in the meantime, I think I know what to name our new friend here. How does Aela sound?" Lucina smiled and nodded in response, before stretching her sore arms out.

"Good job out there, guys!" Roxy looked up at Novis as he spoke, standing up and placing the Pokeball in her pocket. She laughed a bit, pushing a bit of hair out of her face. She was also ready to head back to the excavation site, taking several steps to follow Novis before hearing Nier bark. As she turned to face him, she noticed the bag he was trying to carry, and walked toward him. Her eyes widened in surprise as Novis held up three red stones that she instantly recognized as Fire Stones. "Fire Stones! That's-oh man, what're we gonna do with them?' Roxy's archaeological fascination kicked in once again; it was still unknown just how evolutionary stones came to exist, so if they could also be found naturally on Chromis, then...well, that could be evidence for the Stones coming from outer space, seeing as they were scattered all over the world.

At Novis's suggestion to keep them, Roxy couldn't help but feel tempted to keep them as well. After all, they could use some type of reward, right? But if they were in that bag, they might belong to that archaeologist they met out front. Then again, he wouldn't miss them, right? Fire Stones could be expensive, and what if she caught a Pokemon that could evolve with a Fire Stone? "It's not like anyone'll notice...right?" she said, looking at Aiden.
@Amaterasu That is incredible. Holy crap.
@1Charak2 Those made me laugh so hard. Thank you
@itano123 Sweet merciful Arceus...
@1Charak2 So I've heard! How would that even work...? Diglett supposedly does have feet, so it could theoretically pop out of the ground, but even then it would still be weird.
@1Charak2 Damn, that's...a good point. Not like fire stones will rain out of the sky or something. That'd still be so awkward, though, considering how tiny Eevee is. Still not as awkward as Skitty and Wailord must be.
All the Eeveelutions are in the same egg group, meaning they can breed, sooooo...

EDIT: In fact, Eevee itself is also in that egg group, which means...ew.

Roxy let out a somewhat relieved laugh as Aiden cleared up the situation. Though, now that she thought about it, it would have been kind of funny to pose as Rangers. Then again, they didn't have the capture styluses, but...semantics, right? This guy seemed to be nice enough, if a bit exasperated from work, or something. Roxy's eyes followed his hand as he gestured toward a few caves behind them. "You want us to go...in there?" That was enough to get Roxy a bit less anxious, to say the least. Sure, they were just kids, with relatively low-level Pokemon that had almost just impersonated Pokemon Rangers; and sure, delving into deep, dark caves with almost no clue what's inside was kind of dangerous. And sure, the Pokemon inside could be aggressive due to the excavation going on, but...

Semantics, right?

Novis seemed just as excited, full-on committing to the job even before they knew what they were supposed to do. Roxy was already rocking back and forth on her heels as the archaeologist guy explained what they had to do, which only made her even more excited. She'd been meaning to snatch a rock type when they hit the Ruins, and this seemed to be the perfect time to do so. Besides, getting away from all these "painful-reminders-of-her-parents-who-are-probably-scared-out-of-their-minds-because-of-her" sorts of things might just be a good idea. Novis took a few steps toward the caves, making Roxy think he was going to go rush off again. To her surprise, he turned around with a wide grin and told them to hurry up. Roxy grabbed Lucina and pulled her into her arms before running off toward the caves. Nothing like a combination of anxiousness and excitement to motivate someone, right? "Race you guys there, then!" she called over her shoulder.
@Sho Minazuki Got it, thanks!
Definitely interested!
