Bio

My Name is Shadow Daedalus, but I will accept pretty much any diminutive form you can come up with. I am active in the GMT Timezone, and I mention this to help coordinate posting times with others.

I like to RP things with fighting and grit, but chilled out RPs are good too. I'm a little out of practice, so my writing style falls anywhere between Low-Casual and High-Casual.

Wide range of tastes, like Sci-fi, Modern, Fantasy and Historical. This also includes a diverse range of Fandom content, especially Games and Anime.

I don't usually play more that three characters at a time, and I'm more comfortable as a male character, but I might try to expand more in the future, you'll have to wait and see...

Not very interesting, so feel free to ask me questions :D

Caster needs a master, if anyone is interested?
@Vocab@MeteorD I can confirm, I did say that.
@Turboshitter I've adjusted it, so probably
@vancexentan If I reduce the damage resistance, brute force or anything designed to defeat buildings. Hercules, Beowulf or any other strong hero could just smash their way through a stone wall. Explosions work too. Is that a little more fair?
@vancexentan I'd like you to be as comfortable as I can with the idea, so do you have any adjustments that could be made, if only to alleviate a small portion of your discontent?

Totally not pulling a genderbend on Icarus... It's Fate, I can get away with it

@vancexentan As far as I can see, Khaos Labyrinthos is a late-game Noble Phantasm to begin with, and he can already dispel it at will, but if its seriously that much of an issue I can adjust the properties of the character to try and nerf it a little. I can reduce the damage resistance of the walls (to maybe a STR requirement of B), and put his Mana stat back to B so that it is more difficult to summon. As for an escape route, I'm not opposed to adding one, if it quiets this issue somewhat.

I will not, however, drop the phantasm completely, as it is one of the most intrinsic aspects of Daedalus's myth. If i do that, I might as well scrap this Caster completely and start again.

Here you go @Turboshitter, One (finally) completed CS. I've added in what I was asked to, and increased his Mana by a rank. I've been pretty backed up with work, but that should clear up pretty soon.
The cool splash of water was pleasant across his face as James Carlyle tried to do whatever he could to regain his slowly energy levelness, the cold liquid in the basin functioning well enough to return some of the alertness to his mind. He had barely had time to find the crew quarters and quickly wash his face before he needed to make his way to the briefing room, all the while none to happy about being pulled from shore-leave early for the sake of this deployment. Exhaling though his nose in displeasure, he wiped his face off with a towel and pulled the upper half of his uniform back on, fastening it closed as he left his quarters on his way to the briefing.

As he walked, he thought back to the communication he had received concerning his advancement to the Second Division. It said that, for the time being, he was under consideration until Second Division had reviewed the recommendation submitted by his previous commanding officer. Should the recommendation fall into place, he would undergo a formal review and, should be pass, be sent back to one of the Second Division training facilities to undergo the appropriate re-training, with his foreseeable end goal being Independent Operations, Marksman Section. He pulled himself from his musing quickly enough to avoid colliding with the door before taking a breath and entering the briefing room.

Leaning against the back wall with his arms crossed, he took a moment to survey his surroundings. The room itself was fairly unremarkable, with a few Privates and other miscellaneous crewmen present for what he felt like would amount to an orientation meeting. The unusual white-haired girl caught his attention and he watched with a raised eyebrow as she entertained herself, taking note of the fine level of control she seemed to have over the drones. Shaking his head slightly, he looked back to the front of the room as he waited for the Vice Admiral to arrive.
@vancexentan Speaking of, how many people are making Masters, excluding me for the time being?
