Appearance: 5'4, 130 lbs. Blonde hair, brown eyes. Wears glasses.
Faction/Rank: White Council, low ranking Warden
Background: Grew up a minor member of the British aristocracy, learned of her talent at the age of 15. Apprenticed under Thomas Sanders, a now-deceased kinetomancer. Been a (somewhat) well-respected member of the White Council ever since. Got her grey cloak a decade ago. Earned some recognition for driving a small scourge of Black Court vampires out of Liverpool. She went in in full daylight, silver stake at the ready. Cleared out the thralls and Renfields pretty easily, and staked two vamps in the coffins, and a third who woke up a little groggy. She even managed to wound the scourge leader, who then fled and hasn't been heard from since.
Personality: The fact that she's insistent about her title tells you a lot about Elizabeth. Namely, that she's snooty as all get-out. Despite this, she is fiercely loyal to the White Council and hell-bent on seeing Kemmler dead.
Magic types: Evocation, aeromancy. Her magic is more like a sledgehammer than anything else; she doesn't have the patience required for thaumaturgy.
Items: A self-made hickory wand and a pair of glasses enchanted to see through low-level glamours (think a wimpy version of Rashid's ointment).
Appearance: Midori is tall and slender, with blue hair and a mischievous spark in her brown eyes. She tends to dress in eye-burningly bright colored skirts and shirts, Western-style, when not in school.
Personality: Midori is, to put it mildly, flamboyant. She believes that anything worth doing is worth doing in a loud and attention-getting manner. Naturally, this tends to be off-putting, especially in a conservative society like Japan, but she simply doesn't give a damn. She also has a love of adventure and exploring, and this also has a habit of getting her into trouble, but also enabled her to find the Great Sea Sapphire, so there's that. One other notable thing is that she is fully outed as a magical girl.
Hero Name: Aqua Princess. Her costume consists of skirt, top, boots, gloves and a short cape, all in a solid blue-green. The Great Sea Sapphire transforms into a necklace made of water that magically holds its shape.
Passive- Water Breathing- Midori can magically extract oxygen from water, so she doesn't have to worry about holding her breath while transformed.
Water Transmutation- Midori can transform her body into living water to flow around obstacles, like a locked door. She can only hold this form for about thirty seconds before she has to become human again.
Hydrokinesis- Midori can manipulate water in her immediate vicinity, up to about a home swimming pool's worth. She can also use this water as fuel for her spells by negating the need for creating water from nothing, thus saving her magical energy
Aqua Shield- Conjures a wall of water to stop physical attacks, though it doesn't do squat against energy or magic.
Aqua Shot- Creates a ball of water in her hand, which she then throws. Her basic attack.
Aqua Barrage- A rapid-fire chain of Aqua Shots.
Rain of Justice- Midori summons rain clouds, which take about a minute to form before raining down watery projectiles. Covers a wide area, but the projectiles are low damage and friendly fire is a possibility.
Ocean Breath- Midori takes a deep breath in, then breathes out a stream of water at a single opponent. Hits hard, but only has a range of 5-6 feet.
Maelstrom- Midori's ultimate attack creates a massive ball of water between her hands before shooting out a massive torrent straight ahead. Downside is that once the floodgates are open, she can't turn them off; this attack takes whatever magic she has remaining and she has to wait sixty seconds before transforming again. If she's alone and the attack misses...
Skills: Not much to write about here. She's decent at improvising battle strategies, but that's about it.
Backstory: Midori's a tomboy, through and through. She was always running through the local woods, or exploring the many nearby caves. It was in one of these caves that she found an ancient shrine, with a massive sapphire at the center of it. She doesn't know who put it there or why, but what she does know is that it contained the power of the ocean. Becoming a magical girl, Midori started protecting her small town from D-list monsters, and it wasn't long before she was contacted by Omamori.
Okay, this is going to be interesting. Maybe I should take bets. Phagora calmly watched the brawl be narrowly averted, then looked around for someone to talk to. She needed to find a way to her room. There was a large group of people talking, so she decided that looked like the best place to start.
"Um, excuse me, but I need someone to show me where the dorms are. Please?"
She batted her eyelids just to make herself a little cuter. It never hurt.
"Phagora Schwartz, and the pleasure is mine," she said, returning the handshake. "Oh, and before you ask, it's a family name." The little girl took a big bite of her meal, probably more than was healthy. "So, tell me a little bit about yourself, Alex. What you like to do, what sort of magic you specialize in, that sort of thing."
Phagora got off the train for the feast, looking in wonder at all the various students. She'd heard that there were many magicians scattered around the world, but to see them all in one place really made it hit home. She grabbed a plate of chow, turning to a boy who looked a deal older than her. "Mind sitting with me? I'm new here, could use someone to talk to."
