@Letter Bee Looks ok. You could give the death a little more thought but everything else is fine. You have time to figure something out if you'd like.

@McNephelim Actually pretty solid. I don't have much to say. I'm under the impression he's a tank with a strong amount of reiryoku so checks out to me.

I'll need to keep track of everyone who needs has technique slots, but I'll do that later.

I will likely make the OOC this week.

I'll follow up more when that time comes
I'll check the new sheets soon. Here's the Shinigami recruiters. I'm still getting their appearances done though.

@BladeSS4 Ok this seems to check out now, except for the techniques which let me know once you've figured something out. Also I had forgotten since it was minor and not really a problem, but he should have a surname too, so just figure something out for that in your own time. If you need help with techniques though lemme know.
@BladeSS4 A lot better, just some finer details now. So, once you die, that's it, there's no returning to your deceased body, and he would simply become a plus and forced to move onto Soul Society by the Shinigami after this whole event. The verge of death is a very important distinction here.

It might be cooler that in his dying state where he becomes closer to the realm of the dead and therefore be able to see spirits, he decides to fight the Hollow that's camping and ready to eat him. The result is the same of course, except your character doesn't die, but left alone would've bled out and died.

Also for Shinigami Arts you only have 2 points, not 3. The minus in Kido does not give you an extra point, otherwise it wouldn't be a joke.

Keep a note for yourself of course that you have two slots for techniques, 1 Zanjutsu and 1 for whichever between Hakuda and Hoho you choose.

Out of curiosity I'd also like to ask if this Hollow is important somehow, since you take time to describe it. Might it be a nemesis for your character later? Or something else?
@BladeSS4 There's actually quite a few problems here, so I'll go over it one by one from the top.

Personality. Mention of Kenpachis is just out of place. It's... Not wrong, and Soul Society as it is now does still have a Kenpachi, but it's a term that suggests he's already familiar with Soul Society, so you can simply reword this section.

Backstory. One major problem only, and that's that mortal men don't do deals or work with Hollows. That's just impossible. They are but monsters, some more intelligent than others, but they do not have that level of collusion and cooperation like demons in other media.

Substitute Shinigami. If you had died, and then went to fight a Hollow, even if you had god-like reiryoku like Ichigo did in the first episode, you would not stand a chance, because only zanpakuto or Quincy abilities can hurt Hollow. There is absolutely no way for this to happen. You will have to revise this completely.

Stats. There's actually no problem, for the sake of tidiness just get rid of the descriptions.

Shinigami Arts. You cannot do a 0.5 distribution, it's in units of 1 only. Given your character's focus, I suggest just Zanjutsu and Hoho.

Zanpakuto. So, a unique zanpakuto sealed state is not given until the shinigami achieves Shikai. So you will have to use just one blade. Once you achieve Shikai, you can then get the twin blades. The only rule for an asauchi is that it is a single blade. You may decorate it or wear it however you like.

Let me know once you've revised your sheet.
@LadyAnnaLee great, I'll send you a message soon. The technique is also quite fine.

Also for everyone, in your spare time you can format your sheets to look prettier and clean up system info from them.
A little for everyone.

For techniques I recommend making your own. The show doesn't have any focus on this sort of thing. That being said, the one you have there is pretty powerful, so you'll probably want to swap it out with something else.

If you want me to provide some examples I can drop a few now that I will make up on the spot.

  • [Zanjutsu] Twin-Mirage Cut: Two slashes executed at such speed it appears like one cut. The first and second cuts can be done in different angles, allowing it to either be different angles to be a more difficult attack to defend against, or the same angle twice to apply more pressure on a target.
  • [Hakuda] Dispelling Fist: Cause an eruption of reiatsu focused in the palm upon striking. Though the strike will not yield a lot of extra power, it will cause a concussive force to blow back anything it strikes.
  • [Hoho] Spring-step Footwork: Light footwork that enables minute-evasion with minimal exertion, as well as keeping light to enable easier retreat when defending.
@Morgannis good shit. I got an idea for you, check DM soon. Also Shunpo is actually quite advanced. You'll wanna change that. For reference its achievable at Hoho 2. Describe the zanjutsu technique too please.

@SleepyWrites not yet but probably soon after I unveil the Shinigami recruiters.
@McNephelim The substitute/you the player. They're purposely looking for people on the verge of death to make the offer.

There's a reason for it. It should be known that anyone can technically become a substitute.
@LadyAnnaLee I'm sure you actually mean Hoho in the technique. Just give it a name and describe what it does. Elusive Leap or something.

Character overall is ok, though maybe go into how she nearly or was going to die. There'll be more I want to ask but hold on that for now.

I'll also be unveiling the two recruiter Shinigami later this week, and making an npc character sheet for people to also add their own npcs. Plus thinking about special npc roles, which will be plot relevant npcs basically that people can submit ideas for. In such a case I recommend making them related to yours or another player's character but I'll go over that later.

For all still paying attention I'm pacing the opening of this as I work full time, so I just do a bit here and there and major checks on days off.
