Mina woke up at 7:30, tired and ticked off. She was still annoyed that Haruka had answered her last question with silence and walked away. She also felt some regret for the way she dismissed Donny. She'd have to make it up to him. She did a morning jog around the school; one lap just to take the stiffness out of her joints, followed by stretches in the shower, and a walking breakfast. She arrived in class on the dot, and took her seat, wondering what they'd learn today, only to audibly groan when it was another practical exercise. She still hadn't fully recovered from yesterday's!

Maeda Hitomi

Hitomi ended up not tagging along. The heat made her sleepy, and she retired early. The sheep girl woke up, still in her uniform, and her hair still in the cute ponytail that Hitomi had enthusiastically glomped the small girl in thanks for. She decided to keep it. She wondered if she should change when she noticed the time, and instead quickly sprayed deodorant on herself.

However, when she got to her support class for the morning, she found a note on the door telling her that today she'd be taking part in the Hero Exercise due to a number shortage. She gulped. An actual Hero....Exercise? The sheep girl timidly knocked on the door and entered the classroom, finding a spare seat and looking really uncomfortable with where she was.

"You know, I don't think I've ever seen you eat before," she commented, pulling a beer from the minifridge and cracking it open. "You never struck me as the type to eat with the manners of a gentleman in the breakroom"

Personality:

Rebecca is a sweet woman, though overbearingly religious. She shares many prejudices of the Order even though she's on the side of the Guild, such as the belief that the Demon Lord created Monster Girls for the sole purpose of the dilution and eventual extinction of humanity, though this is most definitely nothing the Monster Girls themselves should be held accountable for as many of them lead good lives, help others, and are forces for kindness in this world. In fact, in her new, revised Church, it is a Sin to cast judgement on a Monster Girl for the way they were born instead of their actions.

There is no other side to Rebecca; even when she tries to kill you, she does so with love, peace and forgiveness in her heart, making her a very disconcerting and unsettling foe to fight.

Backstory:

In her childhood, Rebecca had the power to cure the sick, bring strength to the weak, and bring flowers from the the brink of death to bloom. She was beaten for this and denounced as a witch by the village she lived in. Then one day, she saved the life of the mayor's son with her curative powers, and overnight she was suddenly 'blessed by God' with 'gifts of healing' and loved by her fellow villagers. In an older child, this might have cemented a cynical hatred of people and religion, but to the young and innocent Rebecca, she was very grateful for the change of fate, and fell into her new role with gusto, becoming fervently religious and a devout believe in the values and creeds of The Order.

Her powers quickly gained her followers, and she found herself at the head of the Church of the Benevolent Queen. She practised combat daily as was required by high ranking members of the Order, but she was drawn to the estoc, and she evolved a combat style that was flowing and dancing, so that sword practice was almost a form of recreation and meditation to her, as well as keeping her fit and a formidable combatant.

The Church of the Benevolent Queen, however, had fairly 'radical' ideas about females, and whether or not Monsters are inherently born guilty or is there chance for salvation. The discovery of rumours of a Guild comprised of a mix of monsters and humans, with an agenda very similar to the Doctrines of her Church, was the last straw, and after a very heated argument with higher ups in the Order, her Church split off and lost all of it's followers, and she was branded a traitor. Still, she did not regret her choice and headed for the Guild building, ready to renew again the Church of the Benevolent Queen.

Equipment/Abilities:

Rebecca has strong healing abilities, as well as the ability to 'buff' fellow fighters and make them stronger, or more full of energy.

She carries an estoc under her dress at all times, in a sheath fixed to her chastity belt.

"Bast Ragoczy. I know of whom you speak but we have not had the pleasure of meeting in person yet. Unless it is against your wishes, I will retrieve an apology from him. There are several more men in our guild, yes. Several of whom, I have not met and do not know the names of, but there are three I have met; Bart, Neil and Marxello. I don't really know whether human men are good looking or not. That is not the gauge on which I measure a man's worth as a mate. As of right now, there is nobody I'm in a relationship with, nobody I am seeking out, and as far as I know, I am not being sought out or courted." Eilidh blushed involuntarily while talking about men. It was clear she wanted a husband of some kind, but wasn't actively pursuing that goal. "Why do you ask? Are ou interested in the human men of the Guild?"

"Luck had little to do with it," mused Eilidh proudly, with a slight hint of indignation in there. Centaurs were very proud creatures who put great worth into combat ability. Eilidh knew this Priest meant well but if a Centaur ever claimed to another Centaur that their feats were 'luck', it would be a most grievous insult. "It still hurts yet it is only pain, and pain is natural and good. And yes, I am from the Guild, and we are in dire need of any supplies you can spare, so we are very thankful to you for this generous reward. I also apologize for my colleague's rudeness, whoever he was."
