Eilidh Chiron

"All women are interested in men to some degree. I would like a lover in the future though I know not when or who, and am in no rush for those answers. It is a shame that you will not join us though I understand your reasons for not doing so, and I wish you luck in your admirable goal. We too are trying to rebuild our guild from but little compared to what we need and I daresay deserve."

The Centaur rose up and made ready to leave when the Dark Priest spoke again. Eilidh turned back to her, and bowed in response. She was about to give her own name when the Priest's last comment threw her. "...Oh, of course! It will mean travelling to the Guild building, however, but I can accompany you if you wish. My name is Eilidh Chiron."

The Church of the Benevolent Queen, despite it's recent reputation as 'radical' due to it's leader's reputation as a traitor, shares many core doctrines and commandments with the Church of the Chief God; Acts of kindness and charity are to be expected from all followers, and it's followers must also be pure of heart and mind as much as they are capable of. Vices must never be given into. Even if you resist as much as possible, to err is to sin.

The fundamental differences concern Women, and Monsters. The Church of the Benevolent Queen celebrates women, and treats them as having more worth than men due to their strength, and the ability to create life, which was controversial in the Matriarchal Order before the frictions stemming from the differences in the view of monsters ever came up.

Whilst both the Order and the Church of the Benevolent Queen believe that the Demon Lord is a force of evil, and the initial purpose of the Monster Girls, whose very biology tempts men, was to ensure the gradual lessening of the human majority. The fundamental difference is that the Church of the Benevolent Queen believes that Monster Girls are not born guilty of sin or evil despite their purpose of being, and that they, like any sentient life, are capable of good, and can be upstanding citizens, pure of heart and mind. This was a direct contrast to the Order's core rules that Monster Girls should be slain on sight as they are enemies to humanity and inherently evil and sinful.

The final straw and the spark that led to the split, was a change made to the structure of the Church of the Benevolent Queen; Monster Girls could be ordained as Priestesses or even the Church Leader one day (though males of any species still could not). The Leader and founder of the Church, Rebecca St. Croix, was banished from her city and marked as a traitor, never to return to an Order city or town again on pain of death.

Taleste grinned, and scrambled over the uneven surface of the ground from their location to the breach location like running water. She was an expert and covering distance fast while not drawing attention to herself. She was a thief, after all. She followed behind Tibulus, letting him pacify the guards. He was a better shot than her, and she couldn't move and kill at the same time. To Taleste, assassination and fleeing from a crime were seldom done at the same time. Killing was to prevent the alarm from raising, and if you were running, you'd probably failed in that job.

While Tibulus went to the control room, Taleste split off and followed the signs for the locker room, taking out her silenced pistol as she did so. She only passed two guards on the way there, both of whom were taken out by shots to the head before they could blink. When Taleste reached the room, she stripped off her boots, gloves, jacket and pants, and donned one of the guard uniforms, hiding her hair and eyes with a cap. That done, she calmly made her way up to the roof, past many a patrolling soldier. None of them questioned her despite not necesarrily recognising her. This female soldier oozed confidence and authority and it would seemingly be a stupid idea to stop her.

None of the men on the roof suspected the female guard who came to relieve them of duty so they could join the fight on the ground that they were itching to help partake in instead of standing around waiting for people who might not show up. It was a surprise when Taleste slit their throats one by one, working her way round the roof.
@pyroman

It's seemed bleak before (and never really recovered) but it seems bleaker than normal right now.
@PaulHaynek

Sure. Should I write that here or put it in the CS?
I'm still here
@PaulHaynek

I changed her views to make her more of an ally to the good guys an less of an anti-hero, and found I didn't need to change her backstory to accommodate. If I should make more changes, let me know.
@PaulHaynek

I'm good with a few tweaks, even if they're tweaks to every aspect of her. I just don't like throwing away entire characters.

Also that question didn't really answer my question. Or should I just replace her views with a new bunch of views and keep trying until I get something you like?
@PaulHaynek

Um.

Is there anything I need to change to make you accept her?
@PaulHaynek

Made some changes in personality. How's that?
