If a law's popular it's good. If it's unpopular, it'll make people unhappy and possibly get changed/start a revolt/protest/revolution if there are enough unpopular laws.

Laws aren't morals. Laws are commands from the people in charge.
@Odin

I agree with this. 'Morals' are a human invention, and every society has a different set of morals. You can't call an act of another country or it's citizens 'wrong' just because it breaks the moral code of the United States. In the UK, most people aren't allowed to bear arms at all, period. If an armed gunman broke into their house, they couldn't shoot back. A man from the US might see this as wrong. Conversely a man from the UK sees an average American family owning a gun that the children could possibly get access to as wrong.
Every day I come here and the topic of conversation has changed at least three times to the point where I don't even know which conversation to currently add to.
I am interested in playing a girl in a harem. I love harem anime if they're funny. I love the idea that all the girls are after the guy's wealth, or soul (at first)

This looks very interesting

Radiance

Mina noticed the way Erza looking at her, and put her hands on her hips. "Don't look at me like that. The costume is an important part of being a Hero. The thing that separates us from the emergency services is that Heroes are a symbol. In some cases, even a brand. Our actions stop crime as it's happening, but the Hero name, the costume and our public image and reputation might make criminals think twice and inspire people to do good. It's actually the more important part of what we do. We're not police, or vigilantes, or bounty hunters. We're superheroes.

Also, I saw you with the small girl earlier. Tomoe. She's to be in our team so I'm wondering if she told you anything useful about who she is, why she's here and what she can bring to the table. She might be our ace in the hole. After all, you don't get into this Academy, and class 1A no less, if you're just a bubbly girl who sleeps in class and don't have a useful quirk."

Maeda Hitomi

"Thank you," Hitomi replied to Roy's comments. "It's not nearly as impressive as yours, though. I made this in first year for an assignment. That's why it's basic and made to fit a younger me with measurements from several months ago. I was surprised that they put this in my locker, if I'm honest. I'm definitely going to make a new, better one after today."

Hitomi marvelled at Jett and Mina's costumes too, then giggled quietly to herself. Those elaborate costumes definitely weren't made by the students wearing them. This class was full of the big shots. Hitomi had worked so hard that she now found herself here without having even aimed towards it, and for the first time was wondering if she herself could be not just a future hero, but more immediately a student in this class, worthy of this class.

She looked around, before turning back to Roy. "When do you think the other two students on our team will be ready? I'm anxious to met them. My only combat training is in sidekick class, so I'll be supporting you three, but I need to know what all your quirks are. Speaking of which, what is your quirk, Roy?"

Mako Akane

"Oh, that? That was no trouble at all! That's just lesson one of Villain Psychology, where I spend half the class trying to teach them by example one valuable lesson; it is incredibly easy to be manipulated by a smart villain. I asked the class "Does anyone think they can land a blow on me?" and they spend a few minutes trying to hit me, some succeeding, and those who succeeded got detention because I never gave permission for those actions. It's cruel, but one day they might be dealing with a villain, remember yesterday, and the knowledge might save their life. I've fought other villains before, and those are along some of the dirtiest and most dishonourable moments of my life."

Kasuke Mina

Mina didn't want it to be the first thing she noticed, but it was; Jett had ignored her in response, and looked a little put out that she hadn't replied to his 'radiant' comment. At least, that's what she assumed based on the timing. She felt a little guilty. Was it selfish or mean of her to ignore Jett? It doesn't fix the problems or make them go away. It's just making the feeling in her chest worse if anything. Oh well, she'd just thought of a way to win a little friendship back, once they donned their costumes.

Her good mood was soured by Erza's comments. "I have noticed that besides you, our team's thin in the 'powerful quirk' department," Mina responded tartly, "but battles aren't won by who has the most powerful quirk, especially if you're going to be a Hero fighting villains every day with powerful quirks. They'll believe that they can beat us. Maybe some could. That's what we're in school to prepare for. The odds being slightly against us should not be a real drawback. Look around you. Most of the kids in this class are just that, kids. But me, and Jett. We were raised by Heroes to be Heroes, and if you don't think that makes all the difference in the world, then you can watch me perform out there. I promise you, you will not have doubts about me by the end of it."

When Tomoe comfirmed herself to be the small sleepy girl from earlier, and introduced herself to Erza, Mina rolled her eyes and gave Erza an icy look as if to say' Okay, maybe you were right. Now I'm worried'.

---

Mina was almost the last one out the changing rooms, and for good reason; Her costume was magnificent and stunning; she looked like a cross between a Princess, a knight, an angel and a Valkyrie. This costume must have cost a lot of money to custom-make. Then again, Mina's family was very rich. The usually petite girl looked both more formidable and more elegant with heeled white boots and a floor-reaching layered dress, adding more perceived mass to her figure and inches to her height. She was also wearing her hair long and wavy, which looked unusual for anybody who was used to seeing her with ponytails.

Maeda Hitomi

"I think I'm just here to make up the numbers but the teacher made it sound like I'm part of this class now. I don't know about this. I may be top of the class but there are other support students stronger and more deserving. Thanks for the words of encouragement, though," she smiled back and gave a weak thumbs up back.

When Tomoe arrived, Hitomi smiled, laughed and returned the hug though not the nuzzle. "I slept very well and breakfast was delicious. I only saw you last night, though. That reminds me. Thank you so much for the ponytail! It's so cute! I love it!"

---

When it came time to change, Hitomi found herself wearing the costume she designed and made in first year. It was a skintight light brown one piece suit adorned with wool, which came from Hitomi's own head around ten months ago. She was slightly embarrased by wearing it, as her figure had developed significantly since then, and the waist, seat and chest were all quite tight, and she could only imagine how distractingly eye-catching she'd look. One hand, she'd never thought of herself as 'sexy' before. On the other hand, she didn't want other people to start now. So she waited at her team's rendevous, fidgeting sheepishly. One of the first things she'd be doing is making a new costume with her current measurements. On her back was a shotgun from the armory, loaded with bean bag rounds. She also carried plenty of spares of these in her belt, along with two flares and a grappling gun, which she had been taught to use during Sidekick training in support class.

Mako Akane

"Haha, that's true," answered Mako, slightly less nervous in some ways and more in others, as if instead of getting out of the hole she'd dug, she was instead accepting her fate inside it. The bit about is just being two adults, I mean! I don't drink in front of a class. I never drink during class. That's my one golden rule."

@pkken

Eilidh noticed that Bart had returned, along with that slightly human-hating Viera from yesterday, and waved at them both calm yet cheerfully. Bast offered her the first glass as promised, but thankfully made no other comments. The Centaur gratefully nodded her head in thanks, and took the wine. She didn't savour it like a lady but drank half the glass in a first sip. Centaurs didn't drink in a 'masculine' fashion. Centaurs, of both genders, made the rowdiest of human men feel like they needed to step it up a notch, though if they tried to do what Eilidh had just done with a swift, powerful grace, they'd probably get the wine everywhere. Even the way she held her glass was both careful yet firm and with a grip more suited to a wooden tankard or a drinking horn than glassware.

"T'is a very fine drink, Bast, and I thank you."

When the blonde human was given a drink after her and complimented, Eilidh was jealous of her. Not because she'd been complimented by Bast, but because of her ability to not get flustered in the slightest. It must be so nice to be a human female with their comparatively low sex drives.

When Rebecca heard the Minotaur's explanation, her anger disappeared. It was starting to make sense. Those horns would make putting on a turnic, even a loose one, something of a challenge. The woman slowly and deliberately looked Magnus up and down, the color gone from her cheeks. She was clearly serious and focused judging by her facial expression. When she finished, she bowed and smiled. "Yes, of course. I understand. I'm sorry to trouble you. Let us forget this and enjoy ourselves as we dine."

When the meal came, Rebecca was handed a drink, and accepted it with a proper, ladylike bow, and gave it a dainty sip. before smiling in a approval, and bowing again at the compliment. "You flatter me, but I am but a humble servant of my Church, which I have found myself the sole member of, and have decided to pledge to this Guild, for I have realised that this is the side of Grace and Good."

Church?...And the way she's dressed, and her words were suggesting she had switched sides. It wasn't hard to figure out she used to be a Priestess of the Order. All the clues were there.
