While listening to the newcomer, Eilidh felt the bright and vibrant presence of Kali as she approached. She offered a slight smile and wave as the woman approached, noting too the change in the stranger's mood as she entered. That dark, brewing storm inside him had quelled. Curious, she thought with humour trailing it.
"Lincoln... Do ye like Link?" she asked after a moment.
"We can help," she began. Red wasn't going to like that. Eilidh was quick to judge, but she had keener senses for lies and other tells than he did. He'd need to be set at ease, he'd need to be allowed to ask his own questions too.
"But ye have tae be honest with us about anything that's happened."
She brought the cup of tea to her lips, eyes staring idly out across the room over the rim of it as she took a quiet, thoughtful sip.
She was about to speak again, when she was interrupted by a sharp, phantom pain in her head and the disruptive sensation of ringing between her ears. She winced at it, instinctively shutting her eyes tight to try and block it. As quickly as it happened however, it slipped back to itself and away - leaving Eilidh's mind clear again. Her head tilted and she gripped the cup a little harder, letting the warmth from within it flood through to her hands.
"Errr, I... We might just want... Understanding, of what happened before... but yes. Help, yes we can help."

Congrats on 100th post, and welcome back Fearless GM!
Question, or rather, a thought that I've had - is it plausible that Eilidh could "notice" Julian is awake - due to some psychic/connection/timey wimey stuff? Maybe she gets hit with a weird headache out of nowhere in the Tower scene and isn't sure why? Just a thought I had! Let me know what you think and I'll get a post going c:

Hi, I'm paranoid. (No, not like that) I used to roleplay a few years ago, then I took a break until a few months ago. I've tried a bunch of other roleplaying websites, but none of them are very active and every time I go to look for a roleplay, they've all been dead for months. I decided to try my luck here, and it seems pretty active, so here's hoping. I'm open to pretty much anything as long as you're over 18. Eilidh had washed her breakfast plate, and sat back down at the small table in the centre of the kitchen; a laptop open, some headphones to the side - an audiobook pending. The tower was still silent, only now if she really focused she could make out the sound of the treadmill upstairs.
Outside, however, a motocycle thrummed into a halt. Not long after, Eilidh could sense a heavy, unfamiliar presence in the hallway.
Unsure. Keen senses. Looking for us.
Not dangerous.
Then his voice appeared before her - in the doorway of the kitchen. It came out in shades of gray, sharp at the edges.
Before she had time to answer, she felt the familiar presence of one of her few colleagues remaining, Red. A strange name, she had always thought - since in actual fact he always felt like more of a blue to her. He was there, his size likely imposing to the stranger in the doorway, especially with the way he bounded in.
She projected back to him, "Not trouble, not hurt... I think he needs our help, Red."
She focused her attention back onto the stranger, not wanting to tuck herself into his mind and go digging without permission, instead - she just gave him a slight smile.
"Aye, we're still the Young Justice. I'm Eilidh - this is Red... Don't get many folk 'round here these days." She waited a moment, turning her head to where she felt Red to nod at him, she waited for the stranger to answer the questions - hoping that the situation wasn't going to escalate.
