So I realized that the highest honor anyone can get is not to get a Nobel Peace prize, nor getting your name taught throughout history. It's being made into an Anime Character with giant boobs.

So where do I go after Elysium? I just made it through after beating a Chad-dude and his giant burly friend with horns at a break dancing contest.

Bio

About me:
I am an amateur writer at best as I have had a bit of experience writing short novels and stories as a side gig (Don't ask me for help unless you are desperate. I barely know what I'm doing half the time!)

I mostly Rp on medieval fantasy, modern fantasy, and modern slice of life. However, I am always willing to do anything. And I have been roleplaying for about 8 years now.

I have a pretty open schedule right now, other than planning DnDs, and looking for a job. (Still praying that one day I can get payed to play DnD or by playing videogames, but I haven't made a dollar yet).

PLEASE IF YOU THINK I FORGOT AN RP MESSAGE ME!!!! I CAN GUARANTEE THAT I FORGOT AS I WAS PROBABLY PRAYING TO THE GODS OF CHAOS THAT I WOULD BE ABLE TO WIN THE NEXT GAME OF MAGIC I'M GOING TO PLAY!!! (In all seriousness I'm very forgetful and scatter brained, just send me a message and I should be able to pump out that post in no time)

The partners I am looking for right now is people who are chill and relax as well as just some genuinely nice people to chat to and play with. Any style is fine, just be ready as there are time where it will take some time for advanced posts will take me a few days.

Other than that I like to listen to music and anytime someone asks me to do a thing, 90% of the time I will just do it as I just don't care enough. But I will not sing, my voice is garbage and I am not confident enough to even try to learn now.

Tarak held Reya, as she leaned into him, he watched her for a bit, trying to collect something from her emotions. Yet she seemed to hold herself in a quiet calm, he could feel her lay upon him, he could feel her breath. She seemed calm, that's all Tarak knew, and that was all he could work with, even with the finding of this information, she seemed calm. Trak just held her and listened to the news, originally he was taking in the many sides of those who did and did not wish to use the nuke, and for Tarak, he didn't care.

A weapon is a weapon, if the call comes down, and it needs to be done, Tarak would fire it himself. He wasn't even sure if he would feel a thing when the cloud disappeared, it was a weapon, and a target is a target. But Tarak's thoughts were broken when he felt the hand of Reya begin to caress his head and tried to beckon him closer. Tarak obliged as he leaned close to Reya, shifting his hand that was once on her shoulder to be on her hip as he listened close.

A smile then shown on his face, he shifted and lightly gave a small kiss near her ear as he said, "I am too". Once the Colonel had made his final remarks and ended the briefing, Tarak looked to Reya and said, "Wanna take a walk?".

Cold Comfort: A Single Step

Sleep is difficult outside of normal comforts, yet for working men, far easier than for others. Men who dedicate themselves to crafts, more so. So for Marz who has slept on an anvil, sleeping within the confines of solitary confinement, it was not pleasant, yet he could. His time within solitary confinment was just that, solitary. It was quiet and he had nothing to do, it left him with just thoughts, and all he could think was why was he here. What brought him to this place, what reason he accepted the request from the school. He had no clue, all he could think was that the reason him being here is idiotic at best.

In the morning, he had his answer, if not for why he accepted the request, but for why he stayed, it was for this. For a promise he made, to a child, to bring his father home. As the loud screeching of metal scraping against metal resounded within the hole Marz was in, leaving him slightly disorientated before he saw a ladder unceremoniously drop as the voice above him yelled, "Get up here already".

Marz was brought to the dining hall as here he saw everyone eating, many of them noticing him and nodding, giving confirmation that what he did was good. Choran even gave a light wave to Marz, telling him to come over, yet for Marz, he was looking for someone else. His eyes landed on Venna, who was eating alone like always. Marz took his food and began walking to her, as he sat down and looked to her.

His eyes were unwavering, unmoving as he looked to Venna, she looked up, sheepishly at first as she seemed to be in her own thoughts. But as she looked up to Marz, she realized that his eyes told everything, the overwhelming and unwavering look Marz gave her nearly seemed to tell everything, yet when no word came out as he began to eat, it left a near deafening silence.

"Uh, 'ey Marz", Venna tried to break the ice, yet nothing responded.

"Uh, yer okay, I 'eard solitary is bad", Marz did not as much made a sound just eating as he looked to her.

Sweat began to bead on Venna's head, "Is ev'rythin' okay? You seem to be starin' hard".

Marz broke his silence, "Rats".

Venna's eyes widened yet she kept her composure, "Rats? That's terrible".

Marz spoke quietly then, letting the sounds of everythign else nearly drown him out, enough so only one could hear, "Aye, a rat is terrible, especially if you trust it".

Venna nearly stiffened as she could see on Marz, his inflections, reactions, everything, even if the words only partially reached her ears, she could read what was on his face. He knew, he knows she was the reason these things happened.

Venna leaned in, "Please", as Venna seems to now almost be begging Mar.

"They have my father".

"I know"

"And my brother, he came here with my father to find me"

Marz looked to her strangely for a moment as he then asked, "Who's your father?"

"His name is Argor Halghivan, why?"

Marz sighed as he set his spoon into his bowl finishing up his meal, "Because I met your brother". Then he rose up and began to walk away.

Venna began to look around in confusion as she began to try and quickly go after him, "You did? How is he?"

"Fine, worried, missing his father", Marz then set his bowl onto the table, as a bell rang, telling everyone it was time to head off for work.

Venna tried to follow Marz, however as the general population moved, he was surrounded by those who had gathered to talk about the device, leaving her again alone, and now possibly about to be outed as a rat, and she remembered what happened last time when they found one.

Marz left with the others to begin talking about the device in the short bit of time they had. The device was almost done, all that needed to be done was last touches then testing. Marz nodded his head as he listened, letting them speak, as one finally asked, "Do you think this is it? Is this our way out?"

"It's our only way, we're stuck forever otherwise". Marz broke his silence once more, confirming with all around him what everyone knew, the monks would never let them leave. Not alive.

During work everyone seemed to be nose to the grindstone, everyone was working hard, it was only when Marz heard a voice cut through the working did he stop. "Did you tell'em?"

"No"

Venna looked utterly confused, almost shocked at what she just heard, "Why?"

"Then I can't keep the promise I made to yer brother".

"Promise?"

"He wanted me to find yer father, if you get ratted out, not only are you in danger, yer father is, and yer brother".

Venna sat there, astonished, "Uh…okay".

Marz continued working, silence had fallen between the 2 for a moment before he said one last thing, "You can still help. That is your one choice 'ere. If not, then stay, and hope that they keep their word. You know the ones who are making us weapon, when telling us we are trying to help get magic back".

Venna was left with the choice, the option, hope the monks keep their word, or work with her people to become free. She looked down to her cart as Marz continued to work. Marz too his hammer and set it down, getting ready to punch out to leave. Venna grabbed onto his arm as said between tears, "Let me help".

Marz nodded as he said, "Tell everyone, be ready".

Marz left for the restroom, giving Choran a small nod before he left, as there stood 2 monks on either side of the bathroom. They both looked to Marz as their eyes nearly pierced through him. Once he entered, he reached into the toilet once more and retrieved the device. Seeing all it needed was one final piece, as small needle. Once he set the needle within the device, he waited, inspecting the device, as the moment he heard yelling he stood up and put the device under his belt line.

The moment that Marz left, both monks were yelling at Choran who had left too early to use the bathroom. Marz used the commotion to move, as Choran was being pushed back, Marz left to head back to the work floor, taking a bit of a detour to make it there by dodging those who were watching the bathroom. Marz took this time to do the one thing they needed to, he pressed a screw which shifted forward and he felt for a moment, his manas once more. He took a breath in, and then sighed, knowing it worked.

Now back on the floor everyone looked to Marz, wondering what was going on, as all he gave was a nod. Once they all began to work, hammering began to happen, as it became rhythmic, synchronized, and sometime in response. For those uninitiated, this seemed like smiths all following a similar pace, yet for those within this prison, it was a form of communication. It could take multiple minutes to get a response of a word, however it was a system made that could be replicated by those who were in the know. For Marz, he gave the signal to all, "It. Works."

A resounding slam of hammers happened the moment the news was spread, everyone understood, and everyone knew, be ready. Their freedom was at hand.

The Hegelans continued to work, now with Venna moving between the smiths, speaking amongst them, seeming to be passing off things to each, as eventually they noticed the multiple monks moving, seeming to almost be rushing somewhere. In the commotion, they even noticed a monk or 2 left the work floor. Something was happening, and everyone noticed , as once more the symphony of hammers began to fall. But it was Marz to go and break the noise, he slammed hard. As he continued to do so, telling everyone, "Shut". As he began to conversation saying, "Now", all the other Hegelans raised their hammers prepared to give a response.

In that moment, a loud boom occurred, blowing off the thick heavy doors to the work shop and sent smoke hurling through the tunnels. Roars and yells occurred from within, flames, lightning and light shot through out the workshop as one lone monk broke through the smoke, running out of the workshop and through the tunnels, with great force, yet he felt his feet sleep as the magic he was once using dissappeared and then a loud shot occurred taking his head from his shoulders. There, stood Marz, with one of the guns he partially finished in one hand, and in the other, a the anti-magic dampening device. From within the workshop, yelling began to occur calls of freedom rang out as Choran was the one to yell the loudest,

"Step 1!"

"Secure the keep!"

"Step 2"

"Ascend from darkness!"

The Hegelans began to chant as they moved through the tunnels, Marz was the one who led the charge, next to him was Choran who continued to chant the words. Calling each Hegelan to call out in unison. When the Hegelan were going through the tunnels, Marz used the device sparingly, using it to give them magic to move and fight, and then turn it off after first contact to give the monks no time to respond to the full aggression. Almost like a tidal wave of crazed men and women wielding weapons they were once working on to now gain their freedom.

"Step 3!"

"Spit Fire!"

Their first destination was to head to the armory that the monks had. Many knew they had one, but it was Venna who knew the location. It was a large stone door locked and kept sealed, near impossible without multiple people and someone with keys, however that mattered little to one with magic. Marz drew from the door, taking in the stone, the metal, everything and destroying it utterly, allowing for the Hegelans to become armed with real weapons.

Blades, armor, clubs, guns, everything a small waring band needed. Yet what was most important, a small supply of Mana shots and 2 prime shots. Choran looked to them, thought for a moment then tossed Mars a few and said, "You'll need these".

Marz nodded as he began to arm himself, he put himself into some of the smaller armor they had, and it fit well, little snug in some areas yet it worked. He grabbed himself then a shield and a club. Placing both to his side before taking the mana drinks and downing them. His eyes bulged for a moment before he let out a sigh, he could feel his body acclimating and then empowered.

Choran then yelled out to all within the armory:

"Step 4!"

"Unleash the horde"

The now enraged and empowered Hegelans began their rampage through the tunnels of the monastery. They were heading to free their other brothers and sisters from the other workshop, but first they needed to fend off the many beasts the monks had let loose within the tunnels. These smaller dragons who have a similar shape to a dog were normally used to control riots and find any items people tried to hide. They could cover themselves in fire and had heightened smell and sight.

The hegelans began to hear the many skittering feet of these dragons they knew this was to come, as Marz turned on the device as the others began to form a shield wall. Choran called out once more:

"Step 5!"

"Skewer the wicked beasts!"

In that moment, the dragon dogs made contact as the moment they tried to use their magic to coat themselves in fire to charge through the shields, Marz turned off the device having the dogs slam into the shields before the Hegelans brought down their weapons. With brutal efficency, the hegelans wiped out the many Dragon dogs, clearing them more and more, until none were left.

The hegelans continued forward, wiping out the many monks that stood in their way, as the moment they neared the other workshop they began to see fire and smoke spew out from the doors. There they saw more Hegelans pour out roaring and yelling. They wielded their hammers like weapons as they rushed out and saw the other group. They were about to clash when Venna ran and called out, "Father!"

Venna ran forward as she tackled a taller Hegelan, thinner man now, but who still had quite a bit of muscle on him still. He took hold of Venna as he said, "Oh my darling, are you okay?" Venna nodded as they began to talk and reconnect, it was Marz who broke the conversation, "Argor Halghivan?"

The man who was holding Venna looked to Marz and said, "Aye".

"Good to meet you, I came here to get you to yer son".

The men shook each others hand as Argor looked to Marz with curiosity, "What is your name?"

"Marz. Marz Mohfolk".

"Mohfolk?", the man nodded his head as he realized something, "Mohfolk, hmm, then maybe".

Marz looked to the man as he said, "What do you mean?"

"There is a weapon here being made", the man began to head off back into the workshop, with most of the hegelans following in confusion. There they walked to the center of the workshop where there was a large metal plate, when moved there were 5 weapons within, "These are 5 of the only weapons we have been able to produce during this time".

Within was a large dark black tower shield that seems to be too large to be held by any normal man, a large rifle like weapon that seemed to be too unwieldy for any to trully use, a thin and sleek single edged blade that seemed to be cutting into the ground, a bow that seemed to be humming with energy, and in the center a hammer with a flaming head and handle that seems to hum with energy.

Marz marveled at each item, all of them seems to be so well crafted and formed

Argor then continued, "Each are quite strong, but this one is unique-", Argor pointed to the one in the center, "the Vossoriyans who took over this place had us making them weapons. With this one being specially made fer their protector. We had been forced to make this one fer countless months and finally we were able to finish it. None of us could wield it, but I think you could".

Marz looked to the items then to Argor, he then asked, "Yer sure?"

Argor nodded, as when Marz looked around he noticed many of the others seemed curious, wondering if he would take it. Marz then looked back to the weapons as he prepped himself. He took a deep breath in then out as he took hold of the handle, as he began to feel the immense weight of the weapon, such is the weight of a Chaos Marble. Yet it was in that moment Marz was finally able to lift it even slightly an unbelievable amount of power flowed from the weapon. As the head of the hammer began to super heat and become hotter as it began to heat up to unfathomable levels. Most of the hegelans were instantly forced back as Marz began to feel the energy become even greater. The head of the hammer became so hot it began to melt the stone around it and Marz as even the other weapons began to melt, slowly and surely they melted away as the hammer seemed to draw in the material, slowly forming was seemed to be a more solid hammer head, as more energy began to flow out. It took Marz time to finally fully draw in the energy the hammer was producing to become manageable for him, as he felt his energy stores filled to their maximum and then some.

Within Marz' hands, he wielded a 2 handed Warhammer with pitch black metal and incandescent white and red burning forming from the head of the hammer.

Once Marz was finally able to take control the weapon, he began to head beck to the others who were beginning to become sick near him from the sheer amount of energy flowing through him. Argor was the first to respond, "Seems like I was right. How does it feel?"

"Strange, yet good".

"Ya, this weapon was made to do a bunch of things, but most importantly, it feels like you have the heart of a volcano in yer hand".

Marz nod his head as he tosses the hammer in his hand and shifts it, "Yeah, I can feel that".

Choran patted Marz on the back as he called to everyone, "Step 6!"

But it was Marz to call out, "Wield a Fist of Iron!" As he held up the warhammer, all the hegelans roared out in excitement.

And so the group of hegelans continued their attack, it was Marz to lead the charge as he wielded the hammer that would not yield to no shield or wall.

"Step 7!"

"Raise Hell'

The Hegelans continued their carnage, until finally they had neared the surface. They could feel the air become cooler, and air became fresher, and then finally, they could see the sun. For some, the first time in a few months, for Marz even for a few days, it felt like a lifetime.

"Freedom"

Adrith placed the palm of his hand on his neck as he tilted his head and neck to lean into his hand. An audible pop and crack could be heard as he rolled his neck and shoulders as he listened to the Crimson Knight. Adrith gave an answer as he slammed his fist into his open palm, "Got it". The energy that was originally surrounding them from the storm now stopped, leaving a small bubble of calmness within the storm. In that same moment, Adrith began to almost glow with energy that hummed with the energy of the storm around them. As he was now synced with the entire storm system.

Adrith watched as the green skinned flying goblins began to pour out in the hundreds. Adrith stayed his hand as he began to draw in more energy, waiting for when Ethan was to move, the moment the Crimson Knight made the first move, Adrith let loose. Using his stored up energy he focused the energy of the storm into condensed columns of wind filled with sand. He began to move these columns of energy to target as many goblins as possible. The moment the column of wind hit them, the sand that was being thrown through changed shape and form into spikes that began to shred the goblins within.

As they began to come closer, it was Adrith that took the initiative, as he ran forward and closed the multiple yards of distance within a moment. Coming face to face with one of the countless enemies Adrith began his rampage, every punch he threw seemed to turn the goblins into a red mist. And attack that was to land upon him seemed to lose all control as when Adrith moved his body with it, the blow and the goblin flowed his body movement, until he shifted all that momentum into another hit. A tornado was all that could be to describe what was happening around Adrith. He was constantly pushing himself, using different energy flows at once to take all the aggression from the enemies, as that was what he needed to do.

It was when Ethan finally made his way to the tent Adrith took control of the entire storm. He knew it was almost time, and Zephyr needed breathing room. The storm disappeared for a moment, Adrith began to glow as he set a foot down with thunderous force and began to take control of the sands. He began to change the sands around Zephyr to become solid and provided her safety from the raging sands and the goblins. Adrith looked towards the blood dome and waved his hand as multiple miniature tornados rose and tore a part the many goblins that were trying to break through. With the moment when Adrith finished he felt the ground shake and revealed the Eldritch God's hands Ethan spoke of.

Adrith began to feel the world shift and change with this beast entering, Adrith felt his energy depleting, yet he continued to fight. Letting it go as he began to allow the storm to return. Allowing the energy around him to grow for him to use. Adrith began to see the man y goblins still pouring through as now Zephyr has seemed to have began her side of the fight. Meaning it had now left Adrith alone within this storm, which was exactly what he wanted. Adrith took a deep breath in as his armor began to change. This pure black armor with multiple glowing grooves within as he began to absorb all the energy around him. Heat, wind, gravity, everything around Adrith began to float and lfy away as he drew deeply of all the energy. The storm that was once her now seemed to almost dissappear, even the sand was dissappearing as he began to change that too into energy.

In this glow like a sun, Adrith began to indiscriminate barrage of energy. Simple waves of the hand tore the air apart and sent out a slash that cut goblins in half. Simple and small movements that was charged with so much power it would obliterate any that touches it. Adrith became a walking inferno of energy, almost like the sun on earth. It was a short lived display as he felt the energy even within the Eldritch god change, meaning Zephyr was about to return, so to not hurt his allies, Adrith let all the energy he had stored and used into a large blast of kinetic energy that blew countless Goblins away, picking up sand, goblins, and the tattered remains of everything.

This intense energy wave was so intense it kicked the storm that was gone, back up into a full fledged sandstorm. Once the blood dome dropped and the Eldritch god's hands dropped, this entire show was over. It was only exfiltration, which was easy once the three left and in unison, spoke words of power to leave.

It left the three youths with much, Adrith just let out a laugh with Zephyr, "Yeah. We did it".

THE IMMORTAL HILLS

Adrith appeared from the strange almost mosaic that showed him to this new place. It seemed multiple people showed up to the same place and seemed to startle one to fall into the water. Adrith went over and extended his hand out to him, "Here". It was once he came up the now soaked man spoke about only one way up before throwing on headphones and heading off. Adrith shrugged as he began to head up the same way looking to some of the other students as he introduced himself. Trying to make conversation as they explored this strange land. It was until they came across who seemed to be the inhabitants of the land.

Their appearance was unlike anything he had seen before, their bodies were very specifically designed for the water and their manner of speaking was strangly exciting for the Polyglot within Adrith. There melodic quality that seemed to resonate in the air seemed unusual, yet it also seemed possible to understand strangely. The woman seemed to try and speak with the boy with the headphones, Adrith allowed the conversation to go as he began to try and decipher what seemed to be spoken.

The woman seemed friendly enough, seeming to even give her name, Tell'sa. It was a strange name, yet it was useful enough. When Tell'sa looked to each of them Adrith waved as he went back through the words spoken. She seemed almost expectant of something.

As the boy continued, Adrith learned his name was Ethan, it allowed Tell'sa to speak again, which gave Adrith the information he needed. When Ethan seemed to refer to a location, the magical university, she spoke out once more, "E’ys, h’te niversit’uy?". Adrith began to deconstruct the words in his head, as it was then Adrith realized that she was saying 'university' in a strange way. What came before were 2 other words, if using the same principles of the first and last letter being taken and placed at the very end of the word, he understood she said 'Yes' and 'the'. A smile came onto Adrith's face as he began to encode his own speech.

"Ah, ehm. Ell'ho Tell'sa, Drit'ah", Adrith said this while pointing to himself with a smile. "Han'tk o'yu, erm-o'fr h'te irection'ds. Ethan eem'ss er'vy…xcite'ed", Adrith gave a slight gesture to Ethan with a chuckle to before he then began to turn away and gave her a wave, "Op'he o’yu av'he rea'gt a'dy!"

Adrith wasn't perfect, yet it was his first time trying to speak like Tell'sa did. It was simple in nature, yet difficult in execution as knowing how 2 letter are to sound next to each other that were never in the English language made a great challenge. With a smile on Adrith's face, he now had a curiosity swell up within him. What if he was going to have many more situation like this? That sheer idea excited him.

Steam spilled out of the Phoenix Hawk, as what came out was the same man as always. A cool and calm Tarak, leaving his machine with the same deftness he's been known for. Once Tarak left his mech steam seemed to almost follow him like fire as he began to strip from his multi-layered clothing. Having that same uneasy feeling that he has always had, an uneasiness as if something was crawling within his skin. He left once more to find somewhere to perform his after-battle ritual.

After Tarak had relieved himself of the constant itching feeling he was subjected to any time he used his rig, he heard the Colonel call for a debriefing. Seeing everyone gather in one place again, took a slight weight off of Tarak's shoulder, especially when he was able to see Reya seemed to have made it from her own mission. Tarak used the precious moments before the debriefing to begin to sneak his way over to be next to Reya. Giving her a small smile before the Colonel began speaking.

Bad, grim, and ugly news was all that was given, with more significant weapons hiding, ramping arms race, and dubious allies at best. Yet, consolations were given, and they had done good. All missions were a success, most of their people came back, and they have more information than they did before. With a single piece being one of great importance for some, "Damn, Wrath is alive?" It was the only thing that could leave his mouth as he thought it was such a strange thing to think of. She survived what seemed to be an ambush turned execution, a true miracle appeared to have occurred.

Tarak nodded his head in disbelief as he then took the moment to look towards Reya, trying to catch her reaction to the situation. Tarak nodded once more as he put his hand on her shoulder and began to rub it, showing he was there for her. Knowing this had to be a pretty emotional thing, he knew they were somewhat close, with Reya being with Lena's little sister all the time.

The moment Ismael felt his foot connect with a solid thud to the fairy's chest, he shot his foot down and quickly threw his cloak open to retrieve his dagger. Taking it into his hand he was about to chase after the fairy yet he felt his feet seem to almost be planted into the ground. He looked down to see vines were beginning to climb up them, yet before they could fully take hold it seemed the fairy lost concentration and gave Ismael a chance to leap out of the vines. Once his feet planted from his leap back, he noticed the fairy beginning to rise up, leaving him with none other than the leader of the group.

Ismael flipped the knife in his hand and moved to an icepick grip before picking out his target, as he rushed forward, Ismael tried and clear the distance between him and the leading elf before he could pull a gun. The moment Ismael is within range he will go to slice the man's chest with his knife, but he is instead using the motion of the cut as a feint. Ismael will instead continue the cutting motion and allow his body to follow it into a spin where he will do a head kick to the man.

Cold Comfort: Sins of the Daughter

"OUT! OUT! OUT!"

"Holy shit, Choran! They are ripping the place apart!"

"Marz! Wake up!"

Marz felt himself get ripped from his sleep as he heard yelling waking everyone up. When he hopped to his feet, Choran is there looking out the doorway. Choran turned to his cellmates and said, "They are tearing apart the bathroom! I think someone ratted us out. They are yelling at each other about an Anti-magic dampening device".

All within the cell seemed to have anger on their face, Choran, Mazan, and Marz held this face. All of them remembering that they had the device in their room and the moment they were caught they were going to face increadibly sever punishment. "Because of one rat everything is ruined!"

Marz pulled the item from his beard and began to look around, multiple ideas flew from each person, some said to make a crack in the wall, others said to put it back into his beard, others said to find a way to cram it up somewhere they would never want to look. Each person's idea came with a resounding barrage of rebuttals. With it came then curses, and then accusations.

"We wouldn't be swimmin' in shit if yer sor'ry ass didn't go and tell 'em about the device! What'd you do it for? Porridge?!" Choran yelled out, pointing a finger to Mazan.

"Porridge?! Your' belly achin' we 'ave no booze!" Mazan pushed Choran as he showed even in his age, he was still a smith.

More accusations continued to fly until everyone was winded, the guards had already began to search the rooms. Tearing them apart and even completely searching people. All the anger that was flying then began become ice cold, as Mazan, Marz, and Choran all looked to Khalud. Fire seemed to almost flow from their eyes as Marz stepped to Khalud.

"Ey! Why you lookin' at me like that?"

"It was you wasn't it?"

"ME?! Why would I!"

"You're always doing weird things at night".

"Last night you acted even weird last night, even ran off during the night"

"To the bathroom! If I wanted it found then I would have made it easy to find and put it there! I was writing to my family! I swear!" It was in that moment, Khalud realized he had said it and needed to show everyone now. He went off to grab his scroll and opened it to show the others. Choran snatched it and began to read it aloud quickly, finding it was just sappy letters to his family, and then a secret message, once pressed it was a code his wife knows, being for some more raunchy things. Choran looked at the scroll and then to Khalud with sheer disgust.

It was then, Marz knew who it was, but he kept his mouth shut. He could feel it the moment he heard what was going on. Khalud couldn't he would have told them it was in their cell. There was really only one person who knew it was in the bathroom. Only one person would have known.

During this time, all of the other cells were being thoroughly searched and the people in them too. Everything within was being torn apart, even if it was bolted down, it was pushed and pulled apart. The yelling became much closer as they began to hear what was being said. Everyone looked to each other as they realized that they needed to get the device out of the cell to a place that's already been searched.

Each of them, looked to each other as Choran said with a near yell, "I knew it was you! You fuckin' bastard Khalud!". Choran then took hold of Khalud's shirt and tried to swing at him.

Marz could see it, in an instant he understood what Choran was doing and took hold of Choran and pulled him away. "You're always tryin' to blame others! Now yer turned on yer own!" In that moment he turned his cheek and Choran threw a punch, sending him back slightly.

Wordlessly Choran and Marz traded blows, allowing for all who looked in to see them. Khalud took this time to hide the device in his clothing, given his ample form, while also hiding in the corner away from the brawl.

The moment the guards arrive to break up the fisticuffs, they took their batons and hit Marz and Choran, taking them to the ground and then drag each of them away. All the while Choran yelled, "Don't think this is over Khalud! I know it was you!". Seeing that Khalud is under suspicion, the guards treated him deferentially and didn't rough him up or search him, seeming to stoke more of this idea. Marz wasn't so fortunate in this situation, as he was hauled off to solitary confinement for the day, he was told before he was left alone, "A day in the tank oughta learn you".

Marz was left in a holding cell breifly made of solid and clean bars. Off in the distance he could hear the rest of them yelling, yet as it quieted down he could hear in the distance a quiet conversation with the voice of someoen he was familiar with, "But you promised: me and me pa. We get out if I do it".

Then a male one cut through, one with a strong Vossoriyan accent, "If we recover this 'device'." the man left a pause, "We didn't. How do I know you're not lying just for preferential treatment?"

"Piss on you, ya bloody liar! I talked ta him. I told ye where it is. If ye didn't find it, they either pulled a fast one or you're naff at searchin'. I'm done sellin' out my people for ya!"

"No, you aren't." the man seemed to leave an even longer pause. "You bring us the device, your father still gets to walk out of here with you".

"Aye, I can wait a few more months".

Dead silence floated in the air for moments before the man spoke once more, "I think you'll find that a bad idea, Venna".

Marz listened intently, hanging on the words, he needed to know, he needed it confirmed. The moment he heard the man speak her name, Marz knew, Venna had been the one to rat them out. He sighed, standing up as he patted himself off, he could hear the 2 sets of footsteps coming towards him, he knew what was to come.

2 larger men in padded armor came barging into his room, taking him by his shirt collar and nearly throwing him out of his holding cell. Marz had never been man handled by as he was, but these men were able to lift him like a child and throw him around. Through these tunnels that were dark and dreary, unable to see anything but his own hands infront of him, he could hear the moans and groans of others.

Slowly as they move through the area, Marz was able to see the light bounce off the walls, it almost seemed oily within the stone tunnel, as once they made it to the cavern where they have solitary confinement, there were multiple clean steel plates with a single hole poked through. From these covers Marz could hear voices coming from them, either people groaning and moaning, or even whispers from within. Once they had entered, one of the guards walked over to one of the lids and opened it, the moment it was fully risen, Marz felt a sharp pain in the back of his head as he was forced forward as he fell into the hole. The hole was 10 feet deep and Marz felt every moment of the fall. With the moment Marz landed, he felt his shoulder fire off with pain. He had only a moment to look up before the lid was dropped, and a resounding and violent 'bang' was sent through the hole Marz was in.

Within the pit, Marz could see from the light refracting from the oiled walls within. He could smell the oil and it was intense, making it nearly impossible to breath. As Marz began to look around he notice the hole was thin and difficult to move without nearly slipping. Within there he was given nothing other than a bucket. Marz could only sigh as he began to sit down, but found out that he was unable to fully sit without crossing his legs, let alone sleep his time away.

All he was left with was his thoughts, and the dull ringing of a bell telling them when it was time to eat or sleep.

"Well ain't that a bitch?"
ANCIENT EGYPT- ONE HUNDRED YEARS BEFORE ITS UNIFICATION:

Ra, the god of the sun, the bringer of dawn, the staver of darkness, the god above all. This was the Egyptian's chief god. All below the very heavens were believed to be his kingdom. The only thing they were right about was that he was above them all.

A lone sand dune stood above the vast desert, a single place where a man stood seeming to cast a view upon the village at large. The cool wind carried sand, dust, and debris at high speeds as it followed the curve of the dune, directly towards the man. Even with this seemingly overwhelming force, the man stood eerily still, the wind seemed to almost stop the moment it touched him, the wind split and shifted away as anything that touched the man seemed to fade away the moment it made contact. These materials began to form and shift covering the man in a dark armor that shone and shimmered. The man's hand began to shift across his body and the armor began to become more defined.

The man continued to watch, waiting for something, as he watched the village below multiple individuals come from behind him and began to speak. Many different things, yet the man did not listen, he watched. A pulse of energy rang out followed by a pillar of blue light punching into the vast sky, filling it with nothingness. In this moment, a low tone seemed to almost resonate with the energy, this low yet overwhelming voice seemed to come from the man's direction. Energy began to form around the man, as he began to raise his arms beginning to form symbols. The distance between the group that formed around the man and the village he was once watching seemed to only grow as one stares. The distance between the group and the village extends further and further as vast nothingness covered the distance.

This entire time, energy began to gather around the group of young mages. A bubble of brilliant white light began to engulf the group with the rising of power, and in that last utterance, a single beam of light shot forward. Extending into the now vast void like an arrow, this beam of light covered the great distance made by a void of nothingness. Covering what seems to be eons of nothingness from the outside, the moment the beam touched the distant picture of the village, the brilliant light exploded, and the group vanished from the sand dune.

CURRENT DAY, PHOENIX ARIZONA:

The smell of old paper and perfumed air fresheners hang in the air. The quiet shuffling of people, papers, and the solid thumps of books landing upon desks. It was a normal day within the library, Adrith Carter has lived in this monotony, and he was content. The smell of the hot summer desert snuck into the library every couple minutes when someone entered or exited the building. For Adrith, this was nostalgia, it was until a smell got to his nose that changed his entire demenor. His leg began to cramp as he turned towards his desk that faced the door most had to enter to enter the library. 3 individuals began to enter the building, Adrith knew them from scent alone, each of them were ones he knew well enough.

Adrith kept cool, as the individuals entered they began to make their way to the front desk. The one leading the group was a man who stood well above most men, built like a brick, and looked like he could crush one too. The man's eyes landed onto Adrith as a dead-set staring contest began. The two looked to each other as if waiting for the other to make the first move. The air was tense, as for those who could sense the energy, a class of auras began. A low level clash, as neither budged until Adrith's demenor changed, "What can I help you with?". The man across from Adrith looked astonished, caught off guard as he noticed to his ight an older woman making her way over. "Where's the books on the war of 1812?"

The talk became cordial for a moment as both men let the other pass while who seemed to be the director of the university made their over to the desk. The woman then dropped a stack of papers in front of Adrith before she said, "I need these papers faxed to your director". Adrith gave a light nod as he said, "Of course ma'am". While Adrith stood up, he took the stack of papers while the director turned to begin talking to the other man in a much more happier and delighted fashion. To Adrith it made sense, among the 2 other them, it was night and day. He shook his head as he took a step away towards the printer, yet the moment he tried to press the button to power it on, the button wouldn't budge.

Adrith became confused until he realized, the world was quiet, Adrith turned to see all the people talking seems to be frozen, "What in the good lord?" Before Adrith was given a chance to investigate, he heard the sound of the printer break the silence. He was startled as he nearly jumped out of his own skin turning towards it. Seeing something is being printed out, a manila-colored envelope was being printed, with words being addressed directly towards him. Adrith lightly plucked the letter from the printer before inspecting it, he was confused, yet he took a deep breath, and then opened the letter, to see it says:

Dear Adrith Carter, Congratulations you have been pre-approved for selection into The Clockmaster’s University For Magical Aptitude. Upon completion of reading this letter you shall be transported to a land beyond time and space known as The Immortal Hills. There you shall be joined by others with similar auras as yourself and go through our rigorous interview process before you are to be greeted by The Grandfather of Time, The Clockmaster himself Alus Arador. This is a boarding school, where you will learn and live and create a life for eight years in the Immortal Hills, but in reality, only five minutes shall pass upon your transportation, and all educational materials will be provided for you. Once more, congratulations on your selection as only eight million people have any sort of magical aptitude. See you in a moment.

Your Homeroom Teacher, Ms. Monik Maglon

When he finished reading, Adrith began to hear waves crashing. The world around him washed away in the roar of waves, something that made Adrith's skin crawl. Something deep in his bones screamed out as he began to see dark waves began to crash away the world around him. Yet in this fearful moment, the glow of celestial objects lit a way to safety. A staircase made of solid and clean stone lead up to a hill, these held above it all, 2 celestial bodies, a sun of gold and one of blue. As Adrith began to climb the stairs, he felt the waves wash away, leading to the brilliant land, and more, to those who began to appear just like him.

Adrith began to look around, many different colors, sounds, and smells assaulted Adrith. Yet for him it was fine, he was used to sensory changes, heightening them, dulling them, it was something he did with ease. Yet there was something strange, a pulse of energy seemed to almost wash over him. When that happened the world changed, everything became heightened in color then no color, he could hear nothing then everything, he could even 'smell' the energy around him. The chemical reactions being preformed by every living thing. Adrith nearly threw up from this sensory over load, yet as quickly as this overwhelming sense and energy came, it left. His body returned to normal as he let a sigh out, having experienced such an overwhelming energy was new for Adrith. It felt as if he had lost control of his power, it was something he knew 'was' a thing, but having one's energy be overwhelmed was not something Adrith thought he would experience. More over, he never knew that it could make one's power become enhanced, maybe it was the ambient energy.

It was just another thing for Adrith to figure out, in his new life with these new student's around him. All of which began to make their way to the school upon the hill.
curious question for everybody. i have a sport idea for this story called Mazechase, it's like the third task in the triwizard cup in Goblet Of Fire but turned into a sport, there are 5 people: 1 on the entrance of the maze and 1 on the exit who are called the Wagemakers who are in communication with each other as they bet their class grade percentage points on how long it takes a 3rd person who is on neither team called the Maze Racer whose sole job is to get out, but on the Wagemaker's teams are 1 other person who's job it is to keep the Racer in the maze called the Runcasters who are allowed to use their magic for this job. my question is, do you guys want this in the story, or should i leave it out?

I think it seems interesting
