So I am going to launch the rp tomorrow, and those with completed cs, just post them as you normally would in the thread.

Sorry about the delay in the character sheet. I kept flip flopping over some creative decisions. Let me know if anything needs changing.



Just some things, when Zelt's was outed as a force user and it being posted all over the Holonet. Luke or a jedi would come for him sooner since he is a well known force user now, apparently. Sensing through the force to determine he is a force user would not be necessary at that point.

His drug addiction I am not sure how he is going to maintain that since there would not be drugs in the academy, and there is not going to be a dealer there, so just wondering how he gets his supply and how he can hide it.

So just answers these, and we will go from there.

"Roger that," was all he said after meeting with Queen and now that he was cleared. So after putting away the last of the intel he had gathered. Mateo went about finding a good position to flank and cause some confusion. Things were already chaotic enough right now based on how his teammates were handling things, and some more chaos would not hurt.

So Mateo quickly went about repositioning himself and, after finding a good spot near where he was and quickly spotted some targets down range. He quickly looked down his scope and remembering Queen's advice from before. Mateo aimed for their heads and pulled the trigger. Dispatching the three of them with little noise. Now it did occur to him that this is unfair. Someone cloaked and hard to see with silenced weaponry. He might as well be a ghost, and that is how he likes it. Every advantage and opportunities he has over his enemies, the better. That is how he was trained, after all.

Now he stayed up there shooting at targets until Ogre mentioned on the radio about gassing the ship. "Uh, I guess that is time for me to leave" and without another word. He quickly exited the ship and started flanking people. Catching some unlucky souls that were trying to get a beat on someone, it looked like. Mateo was quick on the trigger and moved on once the bodies hit the ground. He was careful not to be spotted by the mech as he did so. While he did have some C5 on him that could mess with the thing, that was someone else's job, and he did not envy them. Either way, now that his main job was done, he was free to just flank and surprise some folks that going to cause problems for his team. Since there had been enough already and time to live up to his callsign.
The Secrets of Ikianni




The Ikianni system is unknown to most and a unique place in the galaxy. For it is rare for several races to not only live in the system but, claim that Ikianni is their home system. Even more rare is the fact that the Ukath and the Ikeal share the same homeworld. Several species call the system home and have lived there for thousands of years but, have never left the boundaries of the system and have grown up knowing that alien life is just a planet away. Recently, other races have come to Ikianni, though not as an expanding empire. Instead independent settlers for reasons that ranged from outcasts, refugees with nowhere else to go, or in the human's case, an accident. But, the inhabitants both new and old do not know what lies in the system. For ancient secrets lie forgotten and hidden and only waiting for a curious soul to uncover them.

Overview:

This is a science-fantasy rp set in the Ikianni system. A unique system where several races claim it as their home system and where every habitable world in the system belongs to a sentient race. Not including Daumia. Which you will be playing as members of a xenoarcheologists group that will unknowingly discover the long-lost secrets of the system and you can play either as a researcher or a member of the security team.

Which tech-wise, only a few of the races have FTL capabilities, and the natives of the system have yet to explore outside the system since they lack FTL technology. As for weapons, projectile-based weapons are the main/common weapons of the system.

Magic

Magic in the Ikianni system works

Species


Human - Hailing from the distant Earth, and live on the least desired habitable planet in the system. The humans of Acheron had to adapt quickly to survive in their new home, along with discovering alien races and learning that magic exists, and work on relearning it. After twenty years of surviving on Acheron, the humans have proved to be a hardy and adaptable race that still tries to contact Earth despite the unknown but, long-distance to Earth from Acheron.

Ukath - Haling from Airia and sharing the world with the Ikeals. Before the cataclysm that rendered the surface inhabitable. The Ukath originally lived underground before discovering the surface and move most of their civilization there. Leaving only a few cities underground. Which brought them into conflict with the Ikeal as they over both territory and resources. Only their shared religious beliefs kept the two races from declaring full-on war on each other. Which changed when the cataclysm occurred and only then did the two races banded together in order to survive and retreat underground to safety.

While not as strong magical as the Ikeal, they make it up for their physical strength. Along with a long life span.

Ikeal - The tall and spiritual Ikeal. Considered to be great magic users though not as strong physically as the Ukath. The Ikeal share their homeworld with the Ukath. Which despite an uneasy peace between them and the Ukath. Their shared religious beliefs kept them from war and when the cataclysm occurred. They were forced to work together and moved underground to survive.

While they have a life span almost as long as the Ikeal. They are potent magic users that make up most of the monarchy's magic users.

Otuons - The most mysterious of the races that call the system their home. No one is sure when these alien robots came to the system. Only when they did, they choose to settle on Daumia and when they were discovered by the other nations in the system. They only replied that they wish to be left alone. Though they do allow limited trading with other nations in the system. Centered around the city of Isune, the only organic-friendly city on the planet. Mainly for resources that they can not find on Daumia. Still, some Otudons have started to venture outside of Daumia and learn more about the organics in the system.

Zul - Hailing from the temperate world of Jathichi. The Zul are a proud and traditional people. Looking similar to elves from human myth but, that is where the similarities end. For the Zul

Avvans - Hailing from arid and sandy Xetriri.

Izi - Hailing from the ice world of Iynov. The resilient Izi

Thens - Hailing from the only habitable moon in the system, Rosnyke.

Planets


Xetriri - Desert - Homeworld of the Avvans.

Acheron - Toxic - similar to Mars but slightly bigger, closer to the sun and is barely habitable. Gas masks or closed suits are needed in someplaces. The local fauna are unusually aggressive and possess magical abilities. Still is largely unexplored. Inhabited by the humans.

Airia - Formerly a lush habitable planet but, currently uninhabitable on the surface. Homeworld of the Ikeal and Ukath. Airia as the Ikeal and Ukath tell it. Airia was once a beautiful and lush world. Until a cataclysm occurred and rendered the surface uninhabitable. Forcing the two races underground and forcing them to work together in order to survive. Still, both races do not tell the other races how their world became uninhabitable and outsiders are limited to the surface spaceports.

Jathichi- Temperate - Homeworld of the Zul

Esciri- Gas Giant - 80 moons which Rosnyke is one of them.

Rosnyke - Tropical Moon of Esciri - Homeworld of the Thens and the only habitable moon in the system.

Fosniri- Gas Giant - 64 moons

Daumia- Barren - Inhabited by the Otuons and organics are limited to the city of Isune.

Iynov - ice - Homeworld of the Izi

I can change that, no problem. A rogue inquisitor who thought he was hot shit and bit off more than he could chew with the students. Him being a Sith Lord in particular isn’t important to the story, just that Hadris was a certified Bad Person mainly.

As an aside, you mentioned they should have the core Force abilities, but which ones are included in this? Not entirely sure, thanks!


I got an idea for what she would hate the Sith. The thing the stormtroopers were guarding was some kind of Sithspawn that was being housed at the site for experimentation and was released as a last resort and your char would find out what it was in the aftermath and how it relates to the Sith. How does that sound?

Yeah the wiki used to have a list of force powers and now it is gone for some reason and you have to dig to find stuff. The core your should have is telekinesis, force speed, force sense, force jump, I think force healing. I might be missing one but, these your char should have.

After reading it there are some problems like you are going to have to explain how Darth Hadris managed to stay low and not be detected by the empire and by Darth Sidious. Along with how he came to be a Sith and a Darth at that, and start a Sith Academy without anyone knowing about it. I think a rouge Inquisitor would fit more.



Being a New Republic deserter in the New Jedi Order will cause problems, mainly the relationship between the Order and the New Republic. You can say she left the New Republic after the Valdont. That and there being a legion of sith apprentices is very unlikely, so how about removing that bit?

Interested in this as well. The character I had in mind was a pro athlete who was secretly using the force to have an unfair advantage, until someone recognizes that he is using the force and is banned from the sport. Things get worse when criminals who lost money because of his cheating start going after him. It would only by joining the Jedi that he would find a more peaceful existence. Give me a day or two and I'll create a sheet for him.


I am not sure that he would be that skilled with the force on his own and with no training to do stuff like that. Perhaps he was a cheater or would seem lucky because he was using the force without knowing it and after making some risky bets. His luck ran out and he owned bad people credits. So he fled and either managed to run into a jedi or was captured and was later saved by a jedi would be dealing with the criminal that imprisoned him?

If Theyra’s cool with it I’m down. I’d just hate to bar someone else from playing a certain type of character, Y’know?

So a force-sensitive former stormtrooper? I have to say no to this since he was a stormtrooper. He would have probably would been discovered to be force sensitive and taken away for another use to the empire.

Hey Theyra remember me

First idea in mind: A former sith apprentice who never completed her training. She was taught by a borderline sadistic sith master, eventually got the better of him and killed his ass, ran away, and somehow got a cool robot arm somewhere in the process. By this time, the lessons had sunk in but only partially, so there is potential in her to be "redeemed" by the Jedi, but the path is gonna be rocky for her. She won't tell anyone she's an ex-sith at first but eventually it'll come up and be a reveal.

Someone else around her might even pick up on the dark anger/general sith energy she has buried deep down. She's essentially unlearning all the cruel shit done to her by the dark side.


Yeah, I remember you and while I am not against the idea, it looks like you have the same idea as another interested player. So I have to ask do you have a second idea for a char or how attached are you to this current one?

I am so down for this, and I can have a double-bladed lightsaber? hell yes!

We are primarily using legends content with some of the new canon in the rp. So do not worry about the sequels since they do not have an effect on the rp for the most part.
