Just as humans grow and change with time, interests change as well. I wish I had the urge to roleplay like I used to...

I understand.
@Raineh Daze Are you hinting at something with this? I don't work well with riddles...

The play was unfolding quite nicely in front of him, with more people starting to berate the tall hundi for his carelessness. Honestly, Roan found the interaction between the two shorties and the hundi immensely funny, barely managing to hold his laughter when the hundi prostrated himself before the two. "Hey, at least he's honest," Roan thought. All in all, however, It seemed that the event was quickly coming to an end, prompting Roan to lose interest in the trio.

"Hmm, what to do now... I guess I should go take a look at the quest board as well, now that people have started to disperse. Of course, there's the issue of not having a party as well..." At the last thought Roan scratched his head and sighed in frustration. He had been an adventurer for some years now and as such had partied up with a lot of people already. Nevertheless, for one reason or another, his stay never really lasted long. He usually ended up either kicked out of the party, or the party itself ended up disbanding due to some unforeseen reason - although Roan suspected that the reason wasn't as innocent as he was made to believe; once or twice he had found his previous party members back together after their little "disbanding", going about their own merry way and acting as if nothing had ever happened.

His face took on a sour look as he remembered his last party. "I mean, I might have invested some of the prize money from that quest... I don't understand why they were so up in arms about it when they found out, I was gonna pay them back their cuts anyway..."

Roan let out one final sigh before standing up, grabbing his sword and heading towards the quest board. As he passed through the crowd to get to the middle of the Hall, he scanned the adventurers that were present, mentally noting down the people he was familiar with and those he was not. He noticed several parties in the making. In the end, he decided to approach a trio that had hunkered down in one of the larger tables of the Hall. "More hundi, and a weird human girl with antlers growing from her head? That's definitely weird..." Although quite apprehensive about the last one, Roan decided to bite the bullet and approach them after checking out the jobs that had just gone up on the board.

After reading through the listings, Roan turned around and made his way over to the table where the three were sitting. As he got closer to the table, he couldn't help but notice the shadowy being that sat next to the antler girl. "Okay, a mage? That makes sense..." Roan thought before coughing lightly to get their attention. "I couldn't help but notice you three sitting here. Are you a party by any chance? It seems that several interesting jobs have just gone up," he said and pointed back at the job board with his thumb. "I am currently looking for a party so I was wondering if you were recruiting," he added with a smile.
So it would seem that some parties have been arranged beforehand. Who is currently available for party?
@1Charak2 I changed it now, sorry for the confusion

The chirping noises of birds outside was the first thing Roan heard as he shuffled about in his bed. He fought with the sheets, trying to retain as much of the sleep the morning had stolen from him as he could. Unfortunately for him, the morning had the ultimate counter for his resistance and as light broke through the window and washed the room with its warmth, Roan groaned in defeat. Groggily, he crawled out of his bed and slowly walked towards the bathroom to relieve himself.

After washing up, he looked at himself in the mirror. "You've seen better days, haven't you?" he thought with a light smirk. He grabbed a green paste from the cabinet to the right of the sink, put a little in his finger and started cleaning his teeth with it. "I should search for a quest soon else that scrooge Danzim will be sending his collection goons after me again..."

With a sigh at the thought of having to outrun those two again, Roan gurgled some water before spitting it out on the sink and exited the bathroom. It didn't really take a long time for him to get get ready, and soon he was out of his room and walking down the stairs towards the Guild's main hall. "I can already hear the noise from up here..." he thought, slightly annoyed at the prospect of having to deal with morning quest board traffic. Alas, that seemed to be exactly what had been going on when he walked into the main hall.

Deciding to ignore everything that was happening for a moment, Roan simply walked up to the bar and ordered a mug of his favorite beverage and sat on one of the stools nearby as he waited for the bartender. Only then did he look over at the quest board, curious as to what had gotten the people so rowdy so early in the morning. Of course, he didn't have to wrack his brains about it, it was pretty obvious that the large Hundi was responsible for most of the mess, although that little mage was laying it on him pretty hard for it. "He's pretty big... wonder if I could take him on in a fight..." Roan let his mind wander a bit and soon enough his beverage was done. He paid for it, grabbed the mug and walked towards one of the few tables that were still not occupied and took a seat. His sword clattered in its sheath as he placed it leaning against the table, reminding Roan that he had to polish and sharpen it once again. "I just had to go and pick up a mountain troll subjugation quest last week... their hide is substantially more resilient to cuts that simple goblins. Should've picked that one instead" he muttered, bringing voice to his inner thoughts before taking a sip from his drink.
@Raineh Daze what's the level of infrastructure of this world? like i get we are medieval and all but with magic in the mix i wonder if there are any differences. for example what about bathrooms? functional sewer system? sinks? plumbing, electricity etc
