Ryba stood on one of the many bridges in the city, leaning on the railing and looking out at the cliffs and buildings built so precariously into them. From this high up, you could just barely see a flash of red in the waters below- the only thing she could see of herself in the waving reflections they cast. The sun was shining brightly over the town, and in the relative peace outside of the arena- things were calm. In other words, it was a beautiful day for a fight.
She pushed herself away from the railing after what felt like an hour. She didn't exactly have anywhere she had to be, yet. But it was always a good idea to keep moving, even if where you were going wasn't all that important. She passed by the weapons shop as a crowd was gathering around the bulletins nearby. She'd heard the announcement but hadn't paid attention apparently. The New champion was accepting challengers, and even encouraging them?
"A bold one, it seems." She mused, mostly to herself as she noticed two others nearby getting into a spat, and then a third coming over to ask who would be competing in the next matches.
"Why not?" She started, shrugging her shoulders as she spoke up. "It is only for a title though. Hardly something to get huffy about." She smirked as the Oro woman walked off, muttering to herself.
Ryba turned back to the two men after the other woman was out of sight, a coy look still on her face. "Be that as it may, I'd be willing to bet I'll last longer in a fight than her. Where I'm from, insisting on how great it is to be a "Pure blood" usually only means that you don't have any good qualities or useful skills."
