Bio

Fell, she/they, English, currently obsessed with DnD and other ttrpgs. I do art sometimes. I am the GM of two tabletop roleplays on this very site:

- Beyond Moonlight's Reach, a story of four young dragons growing up in a post-apocalyptic fantasy world, and using the Powered by the Apocalypse game Epyllion.

- Search for Tir na Og, a DnD 5e campaign set in the Planescape setting where a group of strangers from all across the multiverse come together to solve the mystery about what happened to the Celtic gods after they and their homelands were mysteriously spirited away.

Oh damn, decided to roll for funsies, and apparently Fellwing continues on her good roll streak, because I got a 10.

Uh. Maybe she's really good at navigating the currents.

Seeing Stargaze scare a creature of Darkness with her words alone filled her with determination... or something xP

That or she's fueled by anxiety.
@XxFellsingxX Decided to roll for it, and Stargaze got a 9

As per PbtA rules, that is a partial success.

So... hmm... almost feels like I should make move for this.

Alright, if you decide to roll, here's the rules:
- On a miss (6 or lower), you're exhausted.
- On a partial success (7-9), you're fine.
- On a success (10 or higher), you're not just good, but feeling surprisingly energized despite everything you've been through recently. Maybe you still have a lot of adrenaline in your system.
Fogdance: *stares at Stargaze* ...Breathtaking. I shall call her....'Mini-Me',

... I didn't even notice that. I'm gonna fix that. Clearly, my brain was just so happy to have finished the post by the deadline it freaking crumbled at the finish-line.

As for deciding how tired your drakes are, that is up to you. You can roll for it if you really want to (by rolling a 2d6 like you do with everything else in this game), but you can also just decide based on what you feel fits best for your character in this moment.
Ah... That is unfortunate. I shall hold off on reading any further then.

I mean, you can continue reading if you want. That's the main chapter that is a bit spoilery and, again, some of it is a bit different in our canon than in the books. I think there's only other chapter that has some significant stuff and I'll send you the title of that chapter in a PM. Maybe skip that one.
I got my hands on the rulebooks a few days ago and just I've reached the part that talks about this. The chapter in question also mentions an interesting unique move. One you decided not to copy over to the list of unique moves on the first page of the OOC tab. Did you not want us using this move or did you simply forget to add it to the list?

*sweats nervously* Hah... Once again, I cannot hide anything from the eyes of Rush.

Well, I haven't copied all the unique moves from Encyclopedia Draconica into the OOC for a few reasons.

1. Some of them are not applicable. You may have noticed while perusing the two books that some of the lore between base Epyllion and our RP is different. As such, some moves either have to be altered or can't be used entirely.

2. Some of the moves are going available at a later point, when they become relevant storywise. If the chapter you are referring to is the one I think it is... let's just say you have glimpsed some somewhat spoilerly lore.
So originally I was going to have the next post have the group fly all way to the Capitol... and then I realised based on some pre-established worldbuilding, they couldn't and had to start the post again... which was already taking a long time due to real life stress and because I realised I don't like describing cities.

So yeah, sorry you guys had to wait two months for a shorter post than what was originally planned. This has been a very awkward month for my creativity.
"Of course," Vipereyes responded, still looking at Fellwing with a questioning gaze. However, she didn't say anymore, and the conversation quickly changed subject as the group continued their flight to the Capitol.

If Yves resembles a dragon in-profile when viewed from above, then the Capitol - which rests within the dragon's 'head' - resembles an eye. If the group didn't have six rawscale drakes to worry about, they could easily fly all the way there. As it is now, unfortunately, they cannot, and the group is forced to land atop the dragon's 'snout'. Thankfully, there is a Semscale stronghold there where they can rest before catching their bearings. Outside the building, the group can see several dragons ranging from longtooth to bearded age teaching drakes who have just earned their wings how to fly. A few of them notice the team, some waving and a couple just staring curiously. Their teachers quickly recall their attention so the lesson can continue. However, the more sharp-eyed members of the group will notice one of the older dragons is look directly at them... specifically, directly at Garrock.

"We're going to have to walk the rest of the way," Garrock said, seemingly none-the-wiser. He was about to start walking the path towards the city when Fogdance spoke up.

"Hold on, Garrock," she said. She turns to the rest of the group. "Is everyone alright to continue on, or do we need to rest a bit?" This question particularly seems directed towards the drakes rather than the older dragon. "There's no shame if you need a moment to catch your breath. That was quite a flight."

"I feel fine," Kyte said. "In fact, ever since Stargaze healed my wing, I've never felt stronger. I feel I could fly whole way there if I wanted to!" They paused, realising how insensitive that might be. "Err, obviously I won't, given the rest of you... can't yet."

"Thanks for reminding us," Pleexem said, voice quiet yet dripping with sarcasm. It's the first thing he's said since they've left the island, and it's definitely the harshest thing the clutch has heard him say in their brief time knowing him.

It seems that Pleexem's voice was too soft for Kyte to pick up on, but Tamba must have heard him because she gives her twin a little swat her paw. The two share a look before Tamba turns her attention back to Fogdance. "I think we're fine."

Fogdance then turns her attention to Skobeloff, Fellwing, Shieldwing and Stargaze, looking at them with concern.

Accurate, but I doubt Garrock would appreciate the comparison. He tries very hard to appear intimidating, after all. XP
Jill Brookes

Location: Camphor's Lab Mentions: @Savo @Rune_Alchemist @Vertigo

As Jill entered the lab, she saw three people standing in the reception area. Two she recognised as Frieda and Camphor, and the other was a girl about her own age she hadn't seen before. From what she could gather from their conversation, this was another trainer who had signed up for the job, but had somehow arrived later than the others. While they were talking, Jill quickly - and discreetly as she could manage - returned the bucket to where she had found it.

As she was on her way out, however, Frieda did address her. "Oh! Hi again!" Jill said, returning the wave. "Yeah, it was a lot of fun, wasn't it Aster?" She looked over at the Aipom, who was still sulking. "Sorry, she's in one of her moods right now," Jill quickly explained to Frieda... which caused Aster to wack her trainer upside the head with her tail-hand. "Ow! What? You are!" Aster gave a few sharp chirps before returning to her brooding. Jill shook her head and sighed, turning her attention back to Frieda. It seemed the assistant was trying to attend to this new trainer. "Err, hey!" Jill said, addressing the girl. "Hi, I'm Jill, and this is Aster." She motioned once more to the Aipom, who paid neither Chloe nor her Snubbull any heed. "It's nice to meet you. Me and another trainer are heading to the Pokemon Center to get our Pokemon healed up. You might have seen us battling outside. Sorry we didn't stop and say hi before." Jill gave a little laugh before continuing. "If you want to meet up after this and travel with us, you're more than welcome to."
Gods, I realise "Last time we saw him he was fine" is probably not the most reassuring thing to say, especially considering last time the party saw Talavar, Brutrumukk hadn't died yet and was still a bugbear.
