Fell, she/they, English, currently obsessed with DnD and other ttrpgs. I do art sometimes. I am the GM of two tabletop roleplays on this very site:

- Beyond Moonlight's Reach, a story of four young dragons growing up in a post-apocalyptic fantasy world, and using the Powered by the Apocalypse game Epyllion.

- Search for Tir na Og, a DnD 5e campaign set in the Planescape setting where a group of strangers from all across the multiverse come together to solve the mystery about what happened to the Celtic gods after they and their homelands were mysteriously spirited away.

Gabriel: A kettle? Do I look like I even own a house?

... that moment you realise more than half of this party don't have a proper house.
Brutrumukk: Which one of you was going to tell me tea tastes different if you put it in hot water?
Gabriel: You... you were putting it in cold water???
Jub: Brutrumukk. Answer the question Brutrumukk.
Brutrumukk: Yeah, I thought for like five years people just put it into hot water to speed up the "tea-ification" process. Didn't realise there was an actual reason. You think I have the patience to boil water???
Jub: You don't have patience to ask someone to use Prestidigitation for 3 minutes?
Zavakri: Why are you. Using Prestidigitation. To boil it?!
Jub: Do you think I have the patience to boil water on a stove?
Zavakri: It takes less than a minute!
Jub: Bestie, is your stovetop powered by the fucking sun?!
Zavakri: How long does it take you to boil a cup of water on the stove???
Jub: Like seven minutes!
Zavakri: Just stick the mug on top of the stove on medium heat and it boils in like two minutes. Less than that and you use a saucepan.
Jub: You're putting the whole mug on the stove??? On medium heat??? Your stove is enchanted.
Tsak: Every single person in this party is a fucking lunatic.
Aurora: DO NONE OF YOU OWN A FUCKING KETTLE?!

(Based on this, you're most welcome.)
“Look at us, tripping over each other to take blame! Gods above, I’ll take that as sure a sign as any that we’re at least decent enough folk. If we ever get around to Baldur’s Gate, remind me to treat you all to my Rirvudd’s cooking. Man’s lethal with a skillet. He might even be able to tame Brut with some sausages.”

Jub & Brutrumukk: Hey can you also extend that invitation to us?
Zavakri: Depends. Are you two good-aligned yet?
Jub & Brutrumukk: ... no.
Zavakri: Then starve.
Wait he likes Gabe?

Bro they spent a whole segment in Pixie Kingdom hanging out and bonding. Also when asked what the best gift he ever received was, it was the pixie dust Gabe gave him. So yeah, he considers him a friend.
Please don't make Jub the middleman in a fight between the two people he likes most in the party, he's already stressed out as it is
Flicker, pointing at Cascade: This one sparks joy.
Flicker, pointing at Gorgash: This one does not spark joy.
If Flicker was one to thank the gods, they would have done so having the foresight to buy extra ingredients, otherwise the addition of their new comrade would have stressed them out... well, stressed then out more. As those who had travelled with Flicker long enough to know, the fire genasi wasn't one to warm to strangers that easily - the fact they had so readily accepted Cascade as quickly as they had was actually a little unprecedented - and Gorgash had the kind of boisterous personality that Flicker typically didn't mesh well with, so they'd been keeping their distance from the orc.

Upon entering the Manticore's Tale, Flicker's body tensed at the joyous welcome they received thanks to their companion, obviously not used to warm reception, and once the group was sat down, they would hunch over in an attempt to appear as unconscious as possible. When everyone started ordering drinks, they simply muttered, "A water, please. And food-wise, I'll have the same as him." They nodded towards Jørmund, before turning their gaze towards the fire.
Wait... Are you implying that Jub was originally inspired by Orko? 0_0

Yup!

Well... sort of.

After the She-Ra reboot came out but before the two new He-man series came out, I did this dumb little thought experiment of what a new He-Man reboot would look like, and my idea for Orko was reimagining him as a somewhat sketchy street magician who sold dodgy enchanted items on the side. Once the actual He-Man series came out, I kind of dropped working any further on the idea, but really liked the concept I'd come up with for Orko, so I remixed it into Jub.

Of course, he's grown a good bit a way from his inspiration. I was originally planning on Jub being a way worse wizard, but as far as magic has been, he's way more competent than I had intended.
I found this song while browsing YouTube today. I'm not entirely sure why, but it made me think of this campaign.

Somewhat funny coincidence, either way. Ya'll never did guess who Jub's original inspiration was.
@rush99999 By the way, since we're now onto Chapter 3, have our characters reached level four yet?
