Fell, she/they, English, currently obsessed with DnD and other ttrpgs. I do art sometimes. I am the GM of two tabletop roleplays on this very site:

- Beyond Moonlight's Reach, a story of four young dragons growing up in a post-apocalyptic fantasy world, and using the Powered by the Apocalypse game Epyllion.

- Search for Tir na Og, a DnD 5e campaign set in the Planescape setting where a group of strangers from all across the multiverse come together to solve the mystery about what happened to the Celtic gods after they and their homelands were mysteriously spirited away.

Jub the Peculiar

Before the doors to the palace opened, Jub had telling himself within his own mind that his only goals right now were to retrieve his Familiar and return to the rest of his companions, and that he would not be swayed or distracted by anything else. After all, Aaliyah had made it clear that there would be severe repercussions if any of her master's rules were broken.

And then the palace doors open and his focus instantly vanished as he was surrounded by more riches and splendor than he had ever seen in his life. His eyes darted, first to the fresco on the ceiling which depicted a variety of scenes - some familiar, some less so - and then to the many, many artifacts that were just out on display. He supposed that the palace being suspended in the sky made theft a little tricky for most, but still... just leaving so many valuables out, for anyone to see...

"This way, please. I have the components for Find Familiar in my room," Aaliyah called as she made her way down the hallway, seemingly unphased by all the splendor around her.

"Er, right!" Jub said, quickly snapping out his awe as his mind struggled to remember why exactly they were here. He looked over at Brutrumukk, hoping the gnome hadn't wandered off already. "Let's go, shall we?"
I'm also sorry for not posting. I'm a bit behind on posts in general at the moment ^^; I'll try and get something up in a next couple of days.
I mean...given what Aaliyah knows of the Bheur Hags, better to be safe than sorry, right?

She got a Dirty 20 on Arcana.

Okay! Aaliyah can definitely tell as she takes the ice cream that it seems to be radiating cold, and that the hag has put some of her own magic in there to keep the ice cream cold for longer than it normally would. So she might have time to perform the ritual before it gets too melty if she really wants to.
Haha, it definitely gives the same kind of vibe as "I Insight check every time a new person says hi to me" xD

I mean, I do that in real life so, that doesn't seem so weird to me xD
Well this will be interesting... XD

After much pondering, I realize Aaliyah has Identify as a ritual spell, but I don't think there's enough time to cast it on the ice cream. ^^"

@XxFellsingxX Would Aaliyah be able to tell if the Ice Cream would melt at a certain point or would it remain cold? Would she be able to cast Identify on it later?

Roll me an Investigation or Arcana check.

... 'Investigate the ice cream' is not something I expected in this RP but here we are.
@Vertigo Since you got a 9 on your moon magic roll, pick 1 of the following:
- The magic is exceptionally powerful.
- The magic remains within your control.
Hahaha, that she is indeed, and as a Finn, I can assure you that tar ice cream is a real flavor! B) (But I'm not claiming it's good...)

... This roleplay keeps teaching me new things. Weirdly, a lot of them are about ice cream.
... I love Garnet already.

Also is she asking for 'tar-flavoured' ice cream? Garnet, I don't know what you've been eating, but that's not a proper flavor.
Godslayers: Look, she just wants to have a word, alright?

Garnet, holding a dagger behind her back: Tell me where you at, I just want to talk.
That'd be a 6!

That is two 3s so

Garnet has got her hands on...
- Two lodestone spheres that chime when they attract each other
- Torn parchment with half a rebus painted on it

(also, in case you're wondering, because I myself had to look it up, a rebus is, according to google, "a puzzle in which words are represented by combinations of pictures and individual letters; for instance, apex might be represented by a picture of an ape followed by a letter X.")
