Bio

Fell, she/they, English, currently obsessed with DnD and other ttrpgs. I do art sometimes. I am the GM of two tabletop roleplays on this very site:

- Beyond Moonlight's Reach, a story of four young dragons growing up in a post-apocalyptic fantasy world, and using the Powered by the Apocalypse game Epyllion.

- Search for Tir na Og, a DnD 5e campaign set in the Planescape setting where a group of strangers from all across the multiverse come together to solve the mystery about what happened to the Celtic gods after they and their homelands were mysteriously spirited away.

As someone who has recently purchased the game themself, I am very interested in trying this, if you are still open to players.
Artemisia: I want to solve this because I enjoy solving puzzles. I'm in it for the joy of the craft.
Bartholomew: ... I just want more money, man.
It took all of Artemisia's composure not to shrink under D'arcy's gaze. In her line of work, she'd crossed paths with a number of other investigators, some more willing to work with her than others. More often than not, she found herself stepping on their toes, and she'd gotten used to their resentment and their withering stares, to the point that most of the time she wasn't even able to register it.

But D'arcy's stare? Oh, she was definitely able to perceive that, and it made her quite aware that she hadn't built up enough rapport with this individual to start throwing her weight around.

She was quiet for a long moment, even after he left, at which point Margerie looked over at her over her glass. "Nice job there, boss," she said drily.

"I don't really have an excuse for how poorly handled that," Artemisia said, doing her best to avoid eye contact with everyone else at her table.

"You sure don't," Margerie responded. She smiled slightly before turning her gaze back towards her parents, watching them as they talked amongst themselves. "Hey, if you're planning getting involved, father, Artemisia could always come along. I promise she's better at spotting clues than making conversation."

Artemisia shot her assistant a look, but didn't say anything otherwise. Instead she simply began tucking into her breakfast, still a little shaken and more than a little gloomy.
Tell that to all the other alternate timeline Zaraknvyrs who exploded without even knowing why.

Ah yes, I can almost see that written on alternate Zaraknyr's tombstone.
I’m so chuffed he could have correctly identified a fireball.

I mean good for him, but if someone was actually chucking a fireball at him I don't think that would really help that much.
Believe it or not he got an 18 (19-1)

Okay! He can clearly tell the spell was Detect Magic, most likely as a way to find out which of the barrels were actually portals.
@XxFellsingxX Can I use the Xanathar’s guide rule for identifying spells as a reaction? Zizzles is terrible beyond belief at Arcana but he is also paranoid and hypocritical and is gonna squint at the spell.

For short reference, he’d be looking at a 15+Spell Level DC to even try and recognize it. With his -1 to this roll.

Yeah, sure, go for it.

She would have mentioned that it's one of the barrels stacked upright in the corner, not any of the ones on the shelves, but she wouldn't have said which one specifically.
@XxFellsingxX

Did Riaen specify which barrel was the portal barrel when telling the Bleakers where it was?

Hmm...

Roll me a Persuasion check (to see how well you came across to her).
"I do apologize for the lack of wares available. Apparently, a naked gnome and a goblin wizard saw fit to slaughter Trinket and Bauble before ransacking our shop not too long ago,"

She gestures to the orb she had been peering into before on the counter, and she offers, "You are welcome to see for yourself, if you so wish. Suffice to say, those two are no longer welcome in...my shop now,"

WELP.

Guess the truth is out now.

When Charm mentioned a naked gnome and a goblin wizard Aurora knew exactly who Charm was talking about. She let out a exasperated sigh wondering if reuniting with them was a good idea or not as it seemed that Brutrumukk was still very much his reckless self.

Tbf on Brutrumukk, in universe, it's been less than a day, and the only influence he's had on him is Jub... who is not the most moral individual.
