The Crow tilts his head to the other side. It appears the strange man - who, according to Ashley, was the one originally responsible for their deaths - was leaving.

Huh.

Kind of anticlimactic, actually, but at least they were all still alive. However, this whole scenario had left him with a lot of questions...

"Didn't Santana say that the people who killed us were a problem and we should make hell for them?" he said, gesturing with his wing towards where Ray had once been. "We didn't really make hell for that guy. We were more of a nuisance really." He looks over to the kitchen. "Or was he talking about that weird thing in there? I'm confused." He glanced between Ashley and Emily in search of answers.

He got the feeling that Luka probably didn't know... or care.

And also he just didn't want to ask him.

The Crow now has a tie to Ashley. "Ashley seems to react well in a crisis."

Same as Rush, I've enjoyed the story so far and have no complaints. I think this is a strong opening and I'm eager to see what happens from here!

Luka quite literally telling Ray not to let the door hit him on the way out.

Ray: I'm so confused right now.
The Crow, bursting through the window: Hi, so-confused-right-now! I'm the Crow!
Ray: WHAT THE FU-!?

The Crow sees both Emily and Ashley signalling him, the former seeming to indicate he should throw away the phone and wallet while the latter was beckoning him into the diner... which would be tricky considering all the entrances were now blocked by repellent winds.

Or at least, it would be a problem.

For a lesser avian.

The Crow quickly flew towards the nearest dumpster and deposited the wallet and phone before calling upon his newly awakened powers to try and get the heaviest metal thing he could find nearby and slamming through the diner window. Once the way was open, he fluttered on and landed on one of the diner tables, placing the knife he still had in front of him before taking a moment to clean his feathers. He then turned his gaze back towards the agent. "And I am the Crow!" he said, adding onto Luka's introduction. "Pleased to make your acquaintance, man who works on behalf of fields..." He paused, tilting his head to the side as he considered something. "Or... maybe not pleased to make your acquaintance? I'm actually not sure what's going on right now."

@XxFellsingxX Currently all the normal exits are being blocked by buffeting winds--I'm not saying you can't get in, but you'll need to figure out some way around that if you want to.

Could The Crown even get in to do the latter? He was outside when Emily locked the diner down, after all.

The question is, should the Crow do what Emily wants and throw away the wallet and phone? Or do what Ashley wants and drop it where the agent can see it?

While still looking a little concerned, Runa's attitude very quickly brightens as Fellwing assures her she's okay and agrees to help her to the Capitol. "Oh I know where my brother is," Runa says. "There are a few underground tunnels in this area. He decided he needed a rest after all the traveling. I can lead you to him. I'm sure he'd be very happy to meet you, and to know we will no longer be wandering aimlessly."

Fogdance smiles warmly. "I'm fine, Skobeloff," she says. "You needn't worry about me. I'm not in pain and from what Heliotrope has seen, there's no side-effects I have to worry about. I'm just... changed, I suppose. Not too much, but in order to conduct that ritual, a price had to be paid, and I am fine with paying it." She glances around the room before lowering her voice so only her and Skobeloff could here. "Better me than someone else, I think." As she speaks, Skobeloff can hear a tone of serenity in her tone that was not there prior. She seems... wiser, almost, like whatever happened with the ritual has given her some insight that she did not previously have.

Shieldwing's questions took a moment to fully register in Rudrick's mind, but once they did, he seemed to loosen up ever-so-slightly, as if remembering himself. "Well, as your elder, it is my responsibility to look out for you," he says. "But you're right, I am worried about Garrock. I don't know much about the mines, only than they've been closed off for being unstable. There is a chance, though, that some creatures might have made home in the tunnels since they were left and..." He pauses, and a look of deep discomfort creeps into his features. "A family member going off into the wilderness, alone, into a scenario he's not entirely prepared for... let's just say it's scenario that I've been through before, and I would rather hope the outcome is not the same." For the first time since meeting him, Rudrick's mask slips off almost entirely and Shieldwing gets the strong impression that beneath his jovial nature, Rudrick is a dragon holding onto a lot of pain. Pain that he has been likely holding onto for quite some time, and he has never felt he could talk to anyone about. In this moment of worry, he might be willing to finally let some of the pain out.
