It's so fun to make random OCs for an RP I will probably never run

Hello! I'm Yankee.
I'm usually down for pretty much anything: action, adventure, romance, horror, taboo, comedy, smut, gore, slice-of-life, etc.
I like cute, fun stories just as much as dark, gross, traumatic (for character) stories. I enjoy creating original characters for RP,
but I get as much enjoyment writing as canon characters in fandom-based games!
On that note I like comic books, cartoons, and videogames. I'm also very into cosplay and art!

I am a very slow writer, so my preferred posting pace is once per week or less. I usually post on weekends.
I like to have fun while writing, so I prefer relaxed partners who don't take things too seriously.
Remember: fiction =/= reality.

Feel free to PM me to chat!
However I do not check PMs immediately. Might take me a day or two... or ten to get back to you.

Forward all complaints to @stone

Long ago, discussing the nicknames Americans have for people from different states, and what the "official" name for such people are. I am from Connecticut! Our official name is "Connecticutian." One nickname is "Nutmeggers" (we are the Nutmeg State), another is... something less family-friendly.

The topic of the word "Yankee" came up as a nickname for Americans in general from non-Americans, and in the US for Northern states, and in Northern states for people from New England in general (even though NY has a baseball team of 'Yankees' it's a New England term apparently!)... and from there it breaks down even more for CT or VT people. Well I like the word. Been "Yankee" online for many years now
I'll be away for at least a week starting Aug. 17th but I would love to write up a character and get it approved before I go so I can quickly jump in if this RP starts while I'm gone. Can I PM you a sheet (with some character related questions) @Sho Minazuki?
So our performance in battle nets us EXP points (distributed by you, the GM, I assume?), which we then spend to strengthen our character? Sounds fine. Would we be relatively free to write any backstory in regards to the world info you posted above, so long as we start as one of the listed starting classes? To clarify - must our characters be from Reynes, or can they be from the Empire, a neighboring country, or even Lyonesse? Also, would anything from commoners to nobility be free to play?
I am interested! It seems a lot of people are on the Fire Emblem hype train, myself included. I'll wait to ask any in depth questions until you have things more thought out on your end, but I will say I like learning about the countries/kingdoms involved. Any quick and dirty history/culture of the Kingdoms, Empire, and continent in general would be nice (at least for me personally).
@ScreenAcne
I see, I think that's a fair way to go about the killings. Now or in the future if this idea ever takes off, I'd be glad to play in it.
@Dead Cruiser Indeed it was! Thanks for your elaboration. Continue to count me among the interested!
@Yankee

It's meant to be vague mimicry of love island and general romantic reality shows. I haven't hammered it out but the general concept is that those chosen to choose each "round" will have a pool limit of how many people they're allowed to be interested in. If someone display no interest in you you are phased out. I'm hoping that a generous "interest pool" and equal numbers will make sure that everyone gets a second chance and not get phased out of the game early on.

As the game goes on the interest pool limit gets tighter and refreshes. You'll date one person outside the pool-with one character getting a choice at the start of each round- and everyone else getting matched up randomly. Then you make your choices-or stay committed- to your last choices. Ditching one person.

And so on and so on until everyone has one committed partner they're sticking with at end game.

I see! Thanks for making it a little more clear. As for charmers who successfully kill - would that be done in private as not to give others a clear view of who is/isn't a charmer, or would we just assume good faith and no "metagaming" from players? Regardless I think you have a fun idea here.
Count me tentatively interested. I think the concept is really fun. Can you give anymore information about the game aspect? For example, being "phased out"... will it play like a Survivor/Big Brother thing where characters vote for those they do or don't want to date again? So characters will either be actively voted off, or not get enough "would date again"s to move on?
I like the concept! Letting people choose between Solomon's demons is a good idea I think, it gives people a basis for a character and some of those demons are not outright malicious if people don't care to play a seethingly evil demon (despite the "Ultra-Violent Demonic Shonen Battle" title).

You did mention the option of pursuing the mystery of Satan's disappearance. Would going that route still entail "ultra-violence?" I have no problem with it myself, just curious. I think this has the potential to be a lot of fun - whether people choose to go a solo route and try and rip everyone else apart, or choose more political minded demons forming alliances to gain control of the Throne.
Thank you all! And @Dolerman, it was a good post.
