Is there any better feeling than tsumo after a kan, and the dora turns out to be the four tiles you just called? I think not.

It's so fun to make random OCs for an RP I will probably never run

Hello! I'm Yankee.
I'm usually down for pretty much anything: action, adventure, romance, horror, taboo, comedy, smut, gore, slice-of-life, etc.
I like cute, fun stories just as much as dark, gross, traumatic (for character) stories. I enjoy creating original characters for RP,
but I get as much enjoyment writing as canon characters in fandom-based games!
On that note I like comic books, cartoons, and videogames. I'm also very into cosplay and art!

I am a very slow writer, so my preferred posting pace is once per week or less. I usually post on weekends.
I like to have fun while writing, so I prefer relaxed partners who don't take things too seriously.
Remember: fiction =/= reality.

Feel free to PM me to chat!
However I do not check PMs immediately. Might take me a day or two... or ten to get back to you.

Daybreak | Fortress' West Side -> South Side

After letting her arrow fly, Bel spotted several others charge past her and into the fray. There were Einar and Kyran, the two she'd arguably grown the closest to, as well as several others she'd only met in passing earlier in the week and during the march away from Garleton. Speaking of Garleton, though she still was loathe to think back on it, there she'd been almost completely alone during the city's ransacking - saved only by the Reynes' knight at the last moment. Now, she was fighting alongside the Prince's brigade. That fact settled warmly in her mind and heart, continuing to carry Bel forward through her initial burst of determination.

With the two front guards and an archer down, Bel bade Sunbeam to charge through the opening. She trusted the others to take care of the sword-wielder and the other archer after witnessing all of them in action. Horse and rider turned South toward the fort's main entrance, though from the corner of her eye she spotted what seemed to be an archer in the fort's window. That was bad news! Bel slowed slightly, intending to aim at the enemy when she was startled by a burst of magic in the same area. It's source was a woman robed in dark clothes, one Bel didn't recall seeing much around camp. She didn't even know the mage's name, but she already appreciated the other woman.

"Good call!" Bel said as she rode past behind the mage, speeding back up and rounding the fort's corner. As she did so, she readied her bow against any potential threats. There were two men at the entrance, their attention divided between some commotion ahead of them at the fort's outer wall and the shouts of battle from where Bel had just come from.

She took aim at the axeman, angling her bow to account for the increased distance between them. If she could take the man out, or at least weaken him, it would make things that much easier for her fellows in arms.

It was well into Marcus' sleep cycle when Thalam finally came online. He'd almost considered not playing it tonight, but it was launch day and it would probably be better to get into a party quickly. Huh, actually... he thought about it for a moment. If he put it off for a few days, he could always play the newbie and ask for handouts. Then again... the type of guys that would be playing the game after waiting for the servers to come back up were probably the kind that would be desperate for a girl's attention. Not that Marcus was a girl in the waking world, but soon enough he'd become one in Thalam. The young man flicked through the character creation menu quickly, as he already knew exactly the kind of avatar he'd make. Light eyes, dark skin and and hair, totally cute and adorable. He chose the first Elf-race on the list because they were the stereotypical "pretty" race in most media. There, all done! He pitched the avatar's voice up into the feminine range and finally chose his preferred class: healer.

As the newly created Mimika spawned into the world of Thalam, the dainty elf girl stretched out her hands towards the bright sky and looked around. VR games weren't really Marcus' forte, but he had to admit this was pretty damn cool. He looked down at his newest avatar. She looked pretty good from here. Humming, the girl opened up her menus, finding the tacky cape she'd been sent, as well as the party screen. Looks like that "ukk0" guy sent her an invite just as he'd said, along with some "neres." Oh well, the more the merrier. For now. She scrolled through the menus and found the name she'd added as a friend earlier before the game went live.

[cherryblossomblues/Mimika]: @Chino4647 Hai~ im sending u a party invite
[cherryblossomblues/Mimika]: im not that close tho i think im at the other end of the beach
[cherryblossomblues/Mimika]: theres some other ppl in it too

Yeah, she definitely didn't ask permission from the other party members before inviting what would be their fourth member. Parties were the best way to level up fast after all. Mimika took her sweet time making her way over to the field of slimes. Very sweet time. Seriously, VR was cool. This was like really living a second life while asleep... sort of. Floating menus and a UI weren't exactly true-to-life but hey.

After a while Mimika made it to the slaughtering fields and found her party companions. "Yay~ I made it!" she exclaimed, before waving her cudgel at the blue slime her companions were attacking, casting a mighty smite spell on the thing.

Lothair and Lynir
@heyitsjiwon@Kinith

Slime
Level : 3 Health 136 // Mana 50 // Stamina 50

The bulbous little jelly creature was oblivious to the rest of it's species getting squished, slashed, pierced, and overall killed. It was just a slime after all. As Lynir approached, it looked up at the warrior with it's big, beady black eyes - totally unsuspecting. The slime winced in pain as Lynir brought his sword down on it. After a few blows the slime sprung back into shape and it's non-existent eyebrows descended in an aggressive look that was less than threatening. It jumped at Lynir, intending to attack, but was blasted from it's side by Lothair - a mage. The slime shook itself before continuing to attack the closest target, Lynir, jumping at him again and dealing 4 damage before armor.

Chrysanth
@Versa

Slime
Level : 3 Health 129 // Mana 50 // Stamina 30

Another cute little slime, minding it's own business. The creature was rolling along the sandy beach's edge when it was suddenly impaled by a powerful arrow. As the weapon pierced it, there was what could only be an angry sloshing sound coming from the injured slime. It looked around, spotting the darkin archer and began to make it's way toward him. It was a little faster than it's red and green cousins, and it was in range of Chrysanth soon enough. The move toward the ranger drained the slime's stamina, making it unable to use it's ability, but it was agitated enough to fling itself right at him, throwing all of it's weight at the darkin for 23 damage before armor.

T0ñythétïger
@dragonpiece

Slime
Level : 3 Health 135 // Mana 50 // Stamina 50

The very large beastman didn't bother the little slime at all as he walked up to it and proceeded to stare it down as it went about it's business absorbing little grasses and insects for nutrients. In fact, the slime met his eyes - peering curiously up at the comparative giant as it fed. It didn't move at all when the tiger man exclaimed and drew his sword, bringing it down onto the slime's body. The sword cut into it and then bounced off it's slick hide. After a beat the slime seemed to realize what happened and looked as if was going to cry. Instead, it jumped at Tony, missing twice in it's haste, but when it finally managed to land a hit it did 9 damage before armor.

Neres
@Aviaire

Slime
Level : 3 Health 141 // Mana 50 // Stamina 50

The first slime Neres saw happened to be of the blue variety, the same as most of the others in the area. It was unmoving, lounging in the sunlight on the fields before she ran up to it and bashed it in the face with her shield. The slime was, of course, very disoriented by this. It was in the middle of coming back to it's senses when Neres followed up with two slashes of her sword. The slime panicked and jumped at her, and it missed since it's dizziness had not fully worn off yet. The slime rumbled in pain, anger, or most likely both as it attacked again, this time dealing 7 damage before armor.
Made it?

Cadet watched the tusked konchu-like creature barrel into the Tzitzi-Ya-Ku, practically brutalizing the thing. He had to admit, it was pretty impressive. Now that his mind was a little more clear he... well he still had no idea what the heck it was. Clearly it wasn't a konchu, it had this look about it like it wasn't even made of the same stuff exactly, but what the Cadet did know was that it was tough. It looked like he wouldn't need to help out anymore, if the gray creature's attack didn't outright kill the monster then it would surely be limping back to it's nest - then it'd be easy pickings. The hunter was about to say as much to his strange new companion when he was suddenly hit with that acrid smell again and he remembered that oh yeah, bad news was coming.

The TziTzi-Ya-Ku seemed to have had enough, and as it started to make it's escape the Ace Cadet said, "Wouldn't chase it just yet 'cause--" the Odogaron burst onto the scene and onto the Bird Wyvern, ripping into it and ultimately carrying it off. "...yeah, 'cause that'll happen."

After a beat the Ace Cadet laughed out loud and dusted the sand off of his armor before treading a few feet down the coral slope and planting himself down on his backside. He let out a low whistle once his laughter died down, and looked back at the Courier. "Those Odogaron love to pick off a hunter's hard work, huh? Real pain in the Astalos. If you wanna go after it, the best time is after it's eaten." Cadet waggled his eyebrows as he made the suggestion. That friend heart had really put the pep back in his step.

"...buuuut you probably came on the wiggler quest, right? Me too. They live in the sand and get spooked pretty easy, give 'em a minute and they'll pop back up." The red head focused his attention toward the sands in front of him. When a wiggler didn't immediately show itself, he went right on talking.

"The Tzitzi wasn't that big, and I don't usually get so roughed up, but I guess something was kind of screwy with my head, right? But the heart-thingy you did fixed me right up. Thanks, by the way. Oh, that multiverse thin---!!!" the Cadet cut himself off, snapping his mouth shut when a tiny blue head emerged from the sand. The wigglers timidly peeked out of their hiding spots under the ground and slowly began to dance their way up. They lived in large colonies and usually sprouted in groups. Once he deemed the few wigglers in front of him had risen a sufficient enough distance from the ground, the Cadet lunged at them and caught a pair - one in each hand. Of course, this meant the rest of the wigglers shot right back into hiding. Ace Cadet paid them no mind, as he knew they'd be sprouting up again sooner or later. The hunter sprang up from his position on the ground and thrust the little animals out to show the Courier, beaming like a little kid.

"There, wigglers! They're pretty dumb so they'll keep reappearing in the same spot after a while. Gotta grab 'em quick though." Cadet pulled out the only piece of equipment besides his weapon (now neatly stashed on his back) he'd actually remembered to bring: his gathering pouch. It wasn't exactly meant to hold animals of any kind, but it would do in a pinch. He stuffed the pair of wigglers in and hoped they wouldn't nibble on the bag too much. "If we finish up here, maybe you can tell me more about the multiverse thing, Courier? If it's about helping people, I'm in."
@FrozenEcstasy Ah, I see! That's good to know. In that case I'll probably finally start playing it!
Okay, the first order has been given!

Well, someone's definitely got to get Nathaniel out of the box now. All the order decisions will be done right here. There may be times when I will reroll though, for example: if I get the same number twice, if someone's number just isn't coming up and they feel left out, etc.

You guys can take as much time as you'll think your characters will need to process what's going on, complete the order, etc. This is a short-term game, but I also want people to enjoy playing their character, so don't be afraid to take time for inner monologing or character drama. As in the "about orders" section of the OOC, orders can be interpreted in pretty much any way.

Happy stabbing :^)
As most of the players climbed out of their boxes, the storm outside continued to beat on the old building they found themselves in. Some players were angry, some disoriented - but all were in for a gruesome time. After a few minutes, as the players talked among themselves and questioned just what was going on, a soft grinding sound could be heard coming from the blood painted wall.

The harsh, metallic sound steadily grew louder as the dumbwaiter set into the wall descended. It echoed through the foyer as an ill omen. Eventually, the small lift arrived. It was only a foot tall at most, impossible to climb into should any of the players think to try. There was no door to open, meaning the contents were clearly visible to all who looked.

Inside the lift were two note cards, stacked a top each other. The lettering was neatly typed on both, making the messages they held clear but no less worrying.

Welcome to The King's Game. See the rules above.
If you all die, the King wins. If you don't want to die, kill The King.

King's Order
Player #2 and Player #7. One must cut, the other will bleed.

Still in the lift, under the cards, lay a thick piece of clear glass. The shard's edges were jagged and it's points were sharp. It reflected the dim overhead lightning in the foyer, beckoning someone to pick it up.

You can count me interested, but I do have a lot going on RP-wise so if you gather a lot of interest you can boot me out, no harm done.

1. I play casual range but I can push it to advanced if needed.
2. Teenagers are fine with me but really I'm good with whatever everyone else ends up preferring.
3. I have no preference whatsoever about location, sorry, not much help there.
4. I've played several of the games and I'm very familiar with the first four seasons of anime (I have seen a little of the rest of the seasons). I have not played Digimon Story. However, I do own Hacker's Memory because for whatever reason I thought it was like an updated title instead of a sequel. I have been hesitating to play it since finding out it's a sequel. I can go ahead and start it if it's not a big deal and I won't have missed anything not playing the first one but, I've never been able to find much opinion on that.
