Appearance: (I STILL don't know how to insert images like all you smart people T_T) Mickey stands 5'8 tall with sandy blond hair, green eyes and a face full of freckles. On the street he's often wearing a pair of hip-hugger jeans, sleeveless shirts and carrying his satchel bag while he goes from one farmers market to the next for ingredients.

Equipment: Herbologist's pouch, wand, hunting knife.

Implants: None. Mickey is all natural as tech doesn't mix well with his particular brand of magic.

Magic: Forces - Mickey can tap into major ley lines running through the area to produce minor gravitational shifts that affect objects up to 45kg/100lbs in weight. If no ley lines are within one mile of his position, Mickey cannot tap into this ability.

Brewer - Societies have long held that natural herbs and spices are the true medicines that are good for the human body, not the pseudo-medicines being pumped out by the pharmaceutical companies coming to dominate Texas. While largely false (Mickey is completely caught up on his vaccines, after all) there is a grain of truth to this folklore. Hereditary witches have long been able to take basic ingredients that are healthy and nourishing to the human and supernatural body and add a little more zest to the good parts within, or insert small hex spells to meet specific purposes. Mickey is a mid-level potion brewer, having graduated from the Salem School of Witchcraft's program eight years ago. Supernaturals throughout Houston come to him for brews- largely to buy brews that will conceal their supernatural traits from hostile humans for a short while.

Personality: Mickey is a unique member of the supernatural community in Houston. He has no outward identifying markers of his magical nature, unlike elves, trolls or orcs. He likes to skirt under the radar and spends most of his time cultivating his garden or working with his "Special club" (See: Organizations).

Bio: Mickey Courig was born in Boston, Massachusetts, the son of a pair of lesbian witches in the most pro-magic State in the Union. His moms, Alice and Cassie, made sure he grew up in a diverse and wholesome environment. While other kids were going to boy scout meetings and fishing trips, Mickey went to coven gatherings and werewolf festivals, all the while never batting an eye at the weird and wonderful things that filled the world. This idyllic life went on until he turned 10 years old, when Mickey got his first taste of what the outside world was like for a lot of magicals. On a family trip to Disney World in Florida, Mickey was kidnapped by a mentally disturbed woman in the park, a lady brainwashed by pro-human ideology who wanted to "rescue" him from the sinful witches raising him. The manhunt lasted less than an hour before park security was able to locate and return Mickey to his parents. The woman was arrested and charged by the Orlando prosecutor, but the incident had a profound impact on Mickey's life. His High School years were spent studying standard curriculum along with witchcraft, while his free time was spent on the internet learning what life was really like for Magicals outside his home city.

College brought him to Salem's School of Witchcraft, where he majored in potion brewery and minored in business management. He joined the Boston chapter of the Magic Underground as a way to meet new friends who were concerned for the welfare of their fellow magicals in the country, but quickly got swept up in helping a newly hatched dragonling fleeing from Arkansas to Canada. The incident, while fairly minor according to the other group members' stories, left him a little shaken but more determined to put his skills to use. Usually, witches would find their way out to California to help the rich and fabulous stay young and beautiful, but Mickey found purpose elsewhere. He graduated at the age of 23, cashed in the savings bonds his mothers had accumulated over the years, and moved south to Texas, where he opened a private pharmacy on the edges of Houston's Magic District. He's done well for himself so far, but Mickey knows there's a lot more money to be made in the area- if the rich and famous of Houston knew there was a signed-and-sealed witch in their presence, one who could make them look young, skinny or muscular with a few mixed drinks, he could quickly find himself faced with an offer he couldn't refuse...

Misc: Mickey owns an herbal pharmacy one block outside Houston's Magic District, "The Green Bottle." He is the primary caretaker, but there is a help-wanted sign on the front door requesting general help.

Company/Organization: The Magic Underground - Mickey is a member of The Magic Underground. After the Texas secession, the supernatural community there looked at some of the laws passed by the Governor along with others under consideration with a great deal of fear. The Magic Underground is an organization formed in Boston, Massachusetts with the express purpose of helping those who want to escape hostile regions of North America escape to "Pro-Magic" states or countries (mostly the Northeast or Canada). Texas was quick to label it a subversive terrorist group and being an official member carries a minimum 5 year jail sentence. Mickey has only helped a handful of Orcs and Trolls escape from dangerous situations in Texas, but is otherwise a low-level member of the group.

UPDATES @ EVERYONE! I have posted ALL accepted characters and character organizations/companies in the OP as well as put the name of the IRC room we are currently using and a kind of easy to use instruction to get there.

I just want to make sure you know this is NOT medieval and that even though you are wearing a light metal alloy armor, being a freedom fighter you will be fighting people with high tech weaponry. I would suggest you have some implants to make you faster and stronger, maybe even make your armorò something of a more modern style to stop bullets. Also your sword would be hard pressed to kill a guy wearing kevlar i'd suggest having it augmented in some way that makes it sharper or even have some kind of added damage like electricity. Your characters are set up for medieval style combat which is all well and good, but it won't help them out in this day and age.

Yeah you're right, however I do know its a futuristic themed rp and there will be bullets flying. I should've expanded on things. I wanted to use more magic than tech so for example I was thinking that fireballs and dragon flame would do pretty well against anything. In defense I was also thinking more of a magical approach like a magic shield which draws energy when bullets and stuff hit it. And that the shield could deflect bullets, sort of like capt. America's shield.
Also, I imagine a scorching hot magical sword would cut pretty easily through kevlar. It worked in star wars in any case... Ok I know it was laser sabers but the concept is the same.
Though yeah, you're right about the armour. Ill just change it to a mech suit and it will do all the difference.
However Id like to keep the sword. Please...

@Xzayler, The sword is fine. i was just giving you my opinion on your sheet. A mech suit seems like a bit much though i wouldn't go that far tech wise cause well Mech suits are exactly widely used while body armor is. A shield that is made of a metal with enough densile strength would be more than enough to stop bullets and there'd be no need to pull energy from the bullet.A sword with the ability to energize the blade is fine as it would heat up the blade enough to make it cut through most materials.

Blargh, I want to make more stuff, this world we are making is seeming super cool.

Most sandbox things I have seen before end up way more bland than this, and we aren't even in the IC yet.

Equipment: Knife-Wrench, Shotgun-Broomstick, Shovel-AK, a crateload of customized Mosin-Nagants, and whatever else is lying around the club, really.

Implants: Zoom and boom feature of the eye, allowing for micro-sensitive laser-range finding at close distances to determine pulserates and to help act as high-quality nightvision... rather useful in a barfight after the light has been blown-out by a knife-wrench on a chain...

Magic: Has a couple of healing and strength-buff runes tattooed or implanted on his arms.

Personality: Calm, friendly, omnicidal in a brawl. He'll generally assist any cause, but has learned the hard way when it is generally best not to get involved in the actual fighting.

Bio: Immigrated from the Ukraine to seek work after his country fell to Russian Liberation. He was part of a last-ditch resistance, the resistance lost. Badly. He moved to Texas since it seemed like a decent place, free from oppression and in love with guns. Although he still hates the Russian Mafia to the point he'll refuse to serve them drinks unless they pay extra.

Misc: Has accent. If you need something grafted to your body, or a tool 'improved' without pesky paperwork, he's the guy to see. Pay up front and a day in advance.

@Everyone. The INTRO POST is up! I tried to interact with everyone as much as possible. Though the general happenings will have affects on everyone. Also I will not be allowing anymore apps for DRAGONS we have three already. They are rather overpowered and I am only keeping people i trust in dragon positions to not abuse the power.

Well, good thing I crossed my dragon off the list early. =)

I figured out my three, but I may have some questions (I'm working with a friend on our sheets since we're discussing having a business together.) Once I figure out what I'm doing, I think I might send you a PM before starting the sheets just to make sure I have my i's dotted and t's crossed beforehand. (I'm also very happy to see no one else with these creatures I have in mind. Well kind of anyways. There is a difference between demons and devils after all.)

Name: "Louie"
Race: Unclassified. A genetic experiment.
Age: 11
Gender: Male
Profession/Role/Position: An assistant and apprentice new age pharmacist.
Appearance: Louie is a slightly odd looking boy, he has pale skin that never tans nor burns, he is average height for a human his age, has jet black and wavy hair, and triangular ears relate-able to an elfs, though much more stubby then most. He has an almost anorexic figure, yet doesn't seem able to put on any weight, despite trying quite often. One of his most defining features, are his eyes. They are a light grey instead of black in the pupil, and his iris is a a bright red ring. The usually white sclera, seems to be made of static. The other defining features, are the many scars over his body, most being stitches, some being bolts. They break up his gentle and kind face with crudeness, and have driven away skweemish customers away in the past. Talking of his face, he has oval shaped eyes, a slightly upturned nose, and hard defined cheekbones. His chin comes to nearly a point, and his lips are surprisingly full.
Equipment: A herbologists pouch, a med kit, and a warding charm (sets up a magical barrier in the shape of a cone around him, big enough for two)
Implants: None, that he knows of.
Magic: None
Personality: Louie is a soft spoken person, he is usually a tad unsure of himself and thus tends to think more than say. He is never sure of social boundries and always plays it as safe as possible, he takes a few things a bit literal and struggles with sarcasm, he loves writing, poetry and songs, yet isn't himself too much of a creative soul. He talks to things that don't talk and is kind once you open is shell.
Bio: Louie, or 3!N07 was an experiment, created for medical testing. He was born and raised in a facility in France, and has no actual parents. He was aged quickly to his current state, in just five years. He has not aged since. He has been tested upon multiple times (hence the scars and mental deficiency) He knew no life outside of the tests and papers, until some activists liberated him and some other people being tested on. He was whisked away to his confusion to where he currently resides, having to make a way for himself, being at the mental age of about 7, and having the body of an 18 year old. Through much luck, and starvation (he is genetically modified to not need much food) he found a place where could feel at least somewhat safe and comfortable. He picked up work and now lives in a small shelter with others who cannot afford housing. All his money is in savings for when he can live on his own.
Misc: Due to some unsuccessful medicines, he has lasting side effects. He is always cold, stutters, shakes, and has terrible dreams. He is working with more down to earth medicine to try and make a real change, perhaps even to help himself. It seems his brain is literally hardwired to work with advancing medicine. He seems to disapear every so often, and comes back covered in bruises.
Company/Organization: He works alongside Micky in the shop.

Name: "Digit".
Race: Unknown
Age: Unknown, thought to be around twenty
Gender: Male
Profession/Role/Position: Not an actual job, but a vigilante
Appearance: Digit is an average height male, with a relatively thin figure, who wears very concealing clothes in the form of a white cape, white hat and white armor. He has a plain white mask which is only see through on his side. His hair is covered with some sort of cap under that hat.
Equipment: Digit uses simple tonfa and a tazer.
Implants: Unknown, though they seem to talk with a false voice.
Magic: None
Personality: Digit seems to TRY and be mysterious, they act cool and calm, and try not let anyone know jack. They keep to themselves, unless parading about, and usually speak with some eloquence.
Bio: Does not tell anyone anything. Tough they have mentioned Paris before.
Misc: Probably a sociopath
Company/Organization: An unofficial member of operation freedom, they seem to be separate yet agree completely with their goals and ways, as well as spout lies that they are the hero of it.

I hope digit isn't too barren of a CS, though really, you can probably get the hint of who they are hm?
