But that did not stop him from teleporting to Egypt to explore the ancient tomb of King Tut. Though he excelled in the Arcane arts his mother still wanted to get rid of his wandering habits, so she sent him too God School in order to accomplish this, though his father doubts this.

Why do have to be difficult?
1. growing claws, breathing fire, or sprouting tentacles are not weapons
2. You need an animal even if it is a hellhound or dragon

So his father is Son Wukong god of monkeys, he inherited is father's role and will then become the next god of monkeys, so since his father is a monkey an his mother is human looking, I Would assume he would look a little bit of both( to shorten this his father is a monkey so he would inherent his father's look and be a monkey too)
