Relic Description: The Eye of Continentia is a shaped ball of marble with what appears to be a eye in the center which has been placed inside a ring. This relic possesses the ability to allow the owner to Modify and control the thoughts of others and even allowing the evoker to drive the ones he targets insane but this takes long periods of exposure to the target. The evoker must make direct eye contact with the target to take over their minds and even then strong willed individuals will be able to fight it off. If the target is under the influence of alcohol or a drug however the evoker can enter their mind easily. It is harder to make someone do something that is out of their character and will take more effort to completely dominate someone and make them follow a command. While if you give simple nudges towards things they enjoy or that is in their nature the effect will be more long lasting and will be easier to use. To refuel this relic one must either use one's own life force or the life force of another. Using to much of one's own life force can tire the evoker, age them, and possibly kill them. While draining from another can have the same effects but requires long periods of physical contact it is possible to use on animals though it is nowhere near as effective.

-Voices: The dead that he controlled while they lived still live on in Sven and have a habit of popping up though this is more a figment of his imagination and is due to guilt.
-cannibalistic tendencies: HE has a habit of feasting on other humans but rarely indulges in it.

Biography: Born to a family of slaves in Kalnach, Sven had a twin sister, the two were inseparable. Where one went the other went, what one did the other did. The first few years of life were easy for the two due to them being so young and the slavers truly having no use for young lings such as they. At the age of seven the two were tasked with typical house duties most thinking Sven was also a girl due to his long hair and face similar to his sisters. This was a blessing as well as a curse though neither would know this till they were the age of ten and a noble came to the farm to collect his dowry and the serfs that came with it. That was the night that his eyes were opened to the horrors and the evil of nobles.

The Noble used serfs as a way so he could please himself. Not just sexually either, he'd torture the serfs endlessly tying them to a wall their backs facing him where he'd burn and cut them. When he came first he went for Sven thinking him a girl which upon trying to rape the boy and realizing the truth he cared little and still continued to abuse the boy. This was the first step to Sven's mental breakdown as he felt a pain no one should've had to. Then the second step was when the same thing happened to his sister. Laying on the ground helpless Sven could do nothing but watch as his sister went through the same treatment. Then afterwards they were nothing but the man's toys as he began to torture them, first starting with dropping hot coals on their backs or beating them with whips. Then he moved on to cutting them drawing out their pain as long as he could. After only two months of this treatment the two were broken physically and mentally being the only two serfs that had survived the noble's ways. This knowledge was not publicly known however, only the noble and his wife knew of what he did in his spare time. When the noble left to go take care of a dispute with another noble the two made their move.

First they entered his treasure room taking all they could carry which wasn't truly much but this was when Sven ran across the Ring of Continentia and placed it upon his finger as though it had called out to him. Sadly the two weren't able to escape due to their injuries they got caught before they even made it a mile away from the noble's home. When the two were found in their broken states news began to spread and the inquisition caught whiff of the situation. Being returned to the noble he saw the two as a threat to his reputation and life if knowledge of what he had done got out so he decided to kill them after one more session. That night Sven and his sister were tied to chairs right next to each other while the noble drew out a sword that had been sitting over a fire for hours. Sven looked over grasping his sisters hand trying to calm her and take her focus off what was coming next. As their eyes met everything she knew, everything she experienced and all her emotions flooded Sven and when the hot blade sunk into her he felt that as well. The excruciating burning sensation that started in the center of the chest and spread made him want to cry, and knew his sister would've as well if she hadn't died. When the noble approached him though Sven met eyes with the noble Sven's anger got the best of him as he activated the ring of Continentia off of instinct as though it guided him. Controlling the noble Sven made him first free him and then take Sven's spot. The tables had turned and Sven enjoyed gutting the noble like a fish and feasting on his intestines drinking and lapping at the man's blood like a animal. After truly realizing what he had done Sven left taking all the wealth the noble had and used it to forge a new life for his self.

First he stashed away all the treasure so he could get to it at a later day and went to join the Kalnachi bowmen where he was taught there ways even though he started later then most. He didn't finish with them till at least the age of twenty-five where he then returned to his stash of wealth and used it to forge himself a new life in Othea where he would use his wealth to open a tavern that not only supplied food and drink but a gaming place where many could come to spend their money, many more services were provided such as feminine entertainment that could be rented along with a room or even giving out loans. This was for the common rebel though while the upperclass were given much more pleasantries such as renting private rooms for discussions among themselves, or renting one of the waitresses. Men usually spilled many secrets around women which made their way back to Sven. Sven now seems to be nothing more then a businessman but no one knows his true goals.

Personality/motivation: At one point Sven was happy even with being a serf but after the death of his sister things took a turn for the worse. Delving into the mind of his dying sister Sven has had her memories permanently etched into his brain he felt her pain and it broke him mentally leaving the poor boy in shatters that not even training among the kalnachi bowmen could erase. Yet escaping to Othea seems to be helping the young man as he appears to have calmed down and owns a tavern but his true goals still aren't known.
Relations: He has no one left.

Firstly: We’re tired of characters loyal to themselves alone. A true mercenary is better than a mere loner, but still its something we would rather avoid. Perhaps you should try him actually working for someone from the start?
But that is a minor issue compared to the fact that you’ve essentially not integrated any lore into your character. With the two above combined, you have no reason to connect to anyone else. Not good.

Secondly: Assasssins aren’t complete misfits. The assassin that sticks out the way your character does (from non-physical traits) makes him a horrible assassin. We’d rather he has some sort of loyalty to someone. Doesn’t matter to us whether its Kalnach, Oragos, Idris or some other nation, just not another loner. In a medieval era, an assassin working alone won’t have the connections get both the information needed to kill high-profile targets or to get said jobs in the first place. Working for another nation’s throne (or some ambitious person near it), he would have all that.

Thirdly… The relic:
You have multiple powers that have no logical reason to fit together other than to serve as an assassin package. Bloodcrafting doesn’t mesh with shadowweaving. And both of those are extremely powerful in the right hands. Scratch out one of those and add a means of feeding/fueling the relic, and you should be more compatible with this RP.
Also, the appearance of the relic is not conductive to him staying out of sight, which would in turn make him less effective as an assassin.

Then there is the fact that your relic also allows him to drain life. With those powers all combined, your character is exceedingly overpowered.

Fourthly: You describe him as hating the relic. Unless he’s an adherent of the Order of Idris, that makes no real sense. And this would mean he hates himself, for when a relic bonds to someone, it makes him or her want to keep the relic, to use it.

The only thing consistently good in this CS was the appearance.

Though short, its fairly balanced. For origin: maybe he’s from Oragos?
We really want people to have allegiance to one nation, faction or other.
Nothing major to criticize at this stage.

“Answers to no one”. Not good. We’ve got more than enough people already with no allegiance to anyone.
Relic powers: We think the relic makes her a bit too powerful in its versatility, but at least it is balanced out fairly well by having powers that fit well together. Try to reduce it to a few powers she knows how to use. Maybe you can expand it later. If you do that, we’d also accept that she can use the power more, as that would make her more effective in the long run. Maybe there’s one or two she’s managed to figure out, with the potential for others. Also, restricting it to three actions is not quite logical. Three lightning bolts is quite different in energy requirement compared to lighting three candles. We have no doubt that you can figure out a way to balance this without restricting yourself too much.

Flaws: These are good. We like flaws, and these restrict her well, just mind the suggestions above.
Skills: Considering Kalnach is a society where women are hardly more than property, these skills don’t make much sense. Education is something that they would not want women to have much of any of. Its gives them too many ideas, lets them think for themselves, and that simply will not do. Knowing how to resist unwanted advances, while unseemly of a woman in Kalnach, is something a noblewoman would know how to do.
“She can outsmart anyone any day” is godmodding, no matter how you try to excuse it. Having her more wily than most is ok, but being perfect at outsmarting everyone is not acceptable.

Background: Fix the stuff above and update this in comparison to that, and we can see again. The lore for Kalnach may be adapted a bit to become clearer on certain fronts.

Relic: How large is the relic? Is it a ring? A bracelet? Something else?
Too powerful. Both illusions and mind control is way too powerful. Especially when combined with the ability to drive people insane. Sure, you can use illusions to drive someone insane, but thats a tricky thing to achieve.
Pick one of the two, then build on that. Either the illusions, or the mind control.

If you’re going with the mind control, it has to have limits. Either its hard to use for much on anyone, or its self-reversing shortly afterwards. I.e. you can trick someone into doing something once, but you can’t permanently change them. Driving someone insane should be a task that takes time, especially if its meant to be lastingly insane.

If you’re going with illusions, then you can do all sorts of interesting things. We’d recommend having a limited range, though. And given the opportunity, you can probably still drive someone insane, but it will be tricky, as you have to convince them the illusion is real. The people may not all like evokers, but they still know they exist, so an illusionist has to be doubly skilled to not be outed as one and have his/her illusions ignored.

Having the concentration flaw on it is a nice balancer. Short-term blindness is also something that you can play with as an effect, but not sure if its necessary.

Whatever option you go with, you should have some means the relic “recharges”. Doesn’t matter how, but its something you should have.

Appearance: That appearance does not make sense. For one, its not something anyone would go out in public with in the middle ages. For two, its a dracula image, not a human. Evokers might have superhuman abilities, but they’re still human (more or less). Try again.
Flaws: Needs to be reworked to reflect the above stuff, but there are some decent ones here.
Skills:Why is he more agile? How did he become acrobatic? Where did he learn how to manipulate people? How did he learn to fight with knives?
Biography: It may have been unclear in the lore, but slavery is forbidden and non-existent Kalnach. As such, you need to work this over heavily.

One night, when reading in her favorite armchair, her mother approached her. Her mother had always been beautiful, more beautiful than Lavica which caused envy for the young woman, and confronted her about her unsightly behavior. Lavica fought with her mother over the rights’ of women, or lack thereof, and how awful men were and undeserving they were. Her mother slapped her and said,
“It is not their fault, it was how they were raised. You cannot teach these old dogs new tricks.”
This gave Lavica insight and she realized that men grew up to believe that she and her gender were worthless; it wasn’t their fault. She set about a plan to run away in order to spread her beliefs, but a change of heart came when Lavica received the news that she would be married off. She was disheartened, disgusted, and fell back into the loathing of men that she used to attain when she found out she was to be married to the most vile man she ever met: the atrocious Karkin Hathera. Karkin was a friend of her father’s and twenty years her senior. He reminded her distinctly of oil; smooth and slick, but greasy and disgusting. Lavica would have none of this.
The night before Lavica was to be wed, she snuck into the vault that held her dowry and stole an expensive ring, golden coins, and three diamond necklaces for money. It would only be later that she understood that this expensive ring was, in fact, a relic. Before that, though, Lavica had a plan in mind:
Lavica was going to travel from Kalnach, through Othea, and to Oragos all the while training herself to become a masterful, charismatic woman, in order to take over the country and change the most dastard’s views on women.

Hot-headed and easily-frustrated, Lavica is prone to outbursts and violent, though weak, assaults. Her biggest fault is her pretentious belief that she alone can change the world for women and men, welcoming a new age of parity.

In Lavica's bio, you stated that her mother told her that "It is not their fault, it was how they were raised. You cannot teach these old dogs new tricks.”. This statement doesn't really fit into the mindset of a woman raised in- and molded by a society like Kalnach's, because from the imagined view, virtually all the women there, at least the non-PC ones, have pretty much embraced the fact that women are mere objects for all intents and purposes owned by the men. Most women there simply don't see any reason for change, be it due to generations of despair or because they rather like how things are (a relative of the Stockholm syndrome being the cause of the latter.).

1. Perhaps it would be better if her mother said something along the lines of "this is just the way it has always been, there's no need for anything to change", as a representative of the way the people of Kalnach think. After thinking about this for herself, Lavica might come to the conclusion that it's due to the way the people of Kalnach are raised, that they think the way they do.

2. I personally can't help but feel that perhaps it would be a good idea if Lavica has come across Kalesian writings during her secret nightly library adventures, or someone told her about that other way of thinking. This would make her unorthodox ideas concerning woman's rights more logical or at least give her a starting point from which she could develop her "odd" ideas in Kalnach.

He didn't finish with them till at least the age of twenty-five where he then returned to his stash of wealth and used it to forge himself a new life in Othea where he would use his wealth to open a tavern that not only supplied food and drink but a gaming place where many could come to spend their money, many more services were provided such as feminine entertainment that could be rented along with a room or even giving out loans. This was for the common rebel though while the upperclass were given much more pleasantries such as renting private rooms for discussions among themselves, or renting one of the waitresses. Men usually spilled many secrets around women which made their way back to Sven. Sven now seems to be nothing more then a businessman but no one knows his true goals.

Personality/motivation: At one point Sven was happy even with being a serf but after the death of his sister things took a turn for the worse. Delving into the mind of his dying sister Sven has had her memories permanently etched into his brain he felt her pain and it broke him mentally leaving the poor boy in shatters that not even training among the kalnachi bowmen could erase. Yet escaping to Othea seems to be helping the young man as he appears to have calmed down and owns a tavern but his true goals still aren't known.
