Cyrul was... a little taken aback by the sudden volcanic eruption in front of him, but while he did take a few steps back in case of any falling embers he wasn't really that worried. After all, a Hunstman had to be able to keep their wits on them around strange situations, and that was one thing Cyrul was pretty good at. He looked a little confused when Nero suddenly turned to him and started talking about Fox Faunus' and their use of seduction. "I'm... Not really sure what that has to do with anything, unless you're hitting on me?" He said in a slightly teasing tone, moving the tail away from his face gently. Turning to Silus he spoke up again. "Neat trick by the way." Before he could add a response to Seilbar Nero had launched into another tirade about the Faunus civil rights and then Seilbars addition about the White Fang. "I can't pretend to know what any Faunus has to go through, but I really don't think terrorism and genocide is a good way to get any sort of point across, especially if you're trying to be treated as, y'know, not monsters." He didn't really get a chance to say more before a very bouncy girl and another Faunus joined the group.

Silus watched as Nero began talking about seduction. He couldn't contain his his laughter. He pointed at Nero and grinned "you and Seduction are hardly things I'd put together" his grin widened a little. This guy was just asking to be called out. His eyes rolled slowly as Nero and Sielbar began a tirade about Faunus and the white fang and Faunus rights. He didn't really care for the white fang. They were thugs under the banner of a crusade for Faunus rights. He rubbed the back if his neck and gave a slight grin to Cyrul at the response to Nero's speech about seduction. He gave a small pout and looked at Cyrul "I might soon if you're up for it" he winked at the blue haired man before turning to the bouncing little bit of energy beside him "hello, thank you...and no I can't" he smiled "that is my Semblance...my family's skill" he pulled out a crystal again and made sure it was inert before popping it into his mouth, crunching it under his teeth before turning back to the Faunus rights speech "the white fang are nothing but scum and anyone that associates with them aren't worth the dirt on my boots" he growled gently "rights will come from alliances and peace speeches not terrorism."

Parsey's attention quickly shifted as she noticed a loner. A young man stood apart from the crowd lifting weights. She instantly recognized how futile his attempt at showing off was; They were only 30 pound training weights! Parsey scoffed and walked towards him. She was barely five-foot three, but walked up to the man and grabbed one of the weights attached to his arm and calmly pulled it off of the Velcro. She easily threw it from hand to hand, and said with a sarcastic smirk, "Some training."

Nahbi's face fell a bit at his response. "Man, your's is so cool… I wish I could do something like that," she said, thinking of her own, unimpressive semblance. Her face soured even more though, when she heard what the reptile faunus said next. She turned to Nico when he slid in beside her and answered his question with "Politics." She stuck out her tongue. "Gross." Nahbi was raised in a decidedly anti-faunus household, but held no more animosity towards them than she did to anyone else. That didn't mean she was sensitive to their plight. "Cool powers, boring conversationist," she decided to herself about the rather tall faunus. She turned back to look up at him (and up and up… Nahbi was a short little thing) and announced, "Challenge accepted. I will master your fire dust trick thing!"

Yasuri frowned as some random girl in an unsually large dress walked up to him and he was forced to stop in the middle of his regiment. To his great surpise she ripped off one of his arm wieghts and began tossing it around commenting on how weak his training was. Angrily he said, "It's a little more difficult when you're doing this!" he waited until the weight was about to land in her other hand and suddenly doubled the gravity on both the weight and on her arms no doubt sending her tumbling head over heels.

The young man's strange comment didn't mean anything until her arms were suddenly pulled downward: Hard. Parsley leaned forward and landed flat on her stomach, her breath knocked out of her. She gasped for breath, and she used it as soon as she caught it to curse the man. "You piece of-" She coughed, still not able to stand up. Her dress had been lifted just far enough to reveal a pulsing tattoo spiraling up her leg. She noticed after a few seconds and shifted her leg to cover it, before standing up and glaring at the man.

Nico raised an eyebrow to Nahbi's response. "Politics; is that not what he live by?" he mumbled under his breath. Nico refocused on the groups conversation, they seemed to be talking about Faunas civil rights. Nico felt a small lump from in his throat, he had personally felt the pain that humans could inflict on a faunus, and the discrimination that was thrown there way time and time again. Nico balled his fists as he remembered the past, his adoptive **_human _** parents, his constant fights with humans his age. Nico had a hatred for humans that he did not mind telling them about, but the second his parents died, he decided to give them a try. "I could tell you personally... I used to despise humans, I still do, but I learn to accept some of them, by learning about each one of them, and not being ignorant to what the real truth is. I think that we all need to learn about one another, and all this civil rights crap would be solved." he said to the group as he stretched.

Yasuri's satisfied face showed that he was content that the girl had learned her lesson. However, it quickly changed to one of surpise as he saw a glowing tatto seemingly pulsing on her leg, he quickly released the girl from his gravity and offered her a hand up but the girl ignored it. "I don't like it when poeple mess with my training and I aplogize for my behavior. My name is Yasuri, perhpas you might honor me with yours?" he inquired. She might be a rude girl but she was still a girl and deserved to be treated with more respect than he had shown her, which is why he tactfully decided to not raise a question of what exactly the tatto was but instead filed it away for future refrence.

Asa grimaced; swinging his legs, and watching the clouds drift by from his perch on the edge of the cliff. He had strolled over there after watching everyone else dawdle round, talking, training, arguing, basically just loitering. Waiting probably, but Asa had no idea what for. He had been tempted to follow that boy, the one at the lockers, out of habit, like a dog. He had shaken off that notion, literally shaking himself, like a dog shaking off water, before wandering aimlessly and, coming to the edge of the cliff, he had sat down, relishing the feeling of not having someone telling him what to do every second of every day. That would probably change soon, but Asa was enjoying it while it lasted, even if he didn’t know what to do with himself. He suddenly found himself wondering about food, what it would be, if they got any. Wait… this was a school, of course they should be getting fed, right? Asa hoped so.

Picking a locker close to Nahbi and Nico, Zedong just took the combination off of it. He didn't bother opening it, since he had no intentions of depositing anything. His supplies weren't numerous, just his quiver of arrows, spare cloths and his personal hygiene supplies. There were also a few things from home, mementos, as well as two dream catchers. One was his, the other belonged to his sister. There was no way he was going to be separated from those, he was not the superstitious type, but this was a strong personal belief. "Quite the opposite," Zee replied in turn to Nahbi regarding his change in profession. "Bigger game is always better. I don't know if you have ever..." Before he could get his point across, he like everyone else was drawn to the sudden sound of erupting flame. Several yards away he saw the source, and it definitely made him smile with some pride of home. Standing there was a Faunus that was a rare sight to behold, one covered in scales. Back home in the wilds his people were proud enough to live beside them, though small in number. He had not seen someone of that heritage since he arrived in the city, and had feared that they were rejected by the public. Seeing one at Beacon made him proud. That abruptly ended the conversation with Nahbi, as she had found something that was apparently captivating to her attention span. Zedong could not blame her. He and Nico followed her over. It was a little tough, as everyone was not focusing on the Reptile, but they managed to push their way through. "*That was so sick! Oh my gosh can you teach me how to do that?*" Blurted Nahbi, bringing out a deep laughter from Zedong's gut. "Count me out. Knowing me I'd mess it up so bad it would end up coming out the other end." The conversation they had stumbled into seemed to be a serious one. Not being terribly interested in politics and current events, Zedong didn't know much, but he had a vague idea of the White Fang, a Faunus civil right group turned terrorists, or so they were labeled. He could sympathies, sometimes talking doesn't get the attention it deserves, and action is the only road that leaders to results. As to what these actions are he didn't know, but it was understood that they were likely not socially acceptable. It also appeared that Nico was invested in this topic, since this was the first time he actually said more than one sentence in front of Zee. “Well spoken Nico. What we need is a bonfire, and lots of music and dancing. Nothing brings people together better than an old fashion pow-wow. Oh how I miss home.”

Parsey quickly calmed down, and sighed, mumbling to herself, "Mother superior always said to forgive and forget," Before extending her hand to Yasuri, and responding "My name is Parsey. Like the spice." She waited a beat before asking, "What _was_ that? The weight thing," She flicked her hair, and wondered if he was gonna ask her what her semblance was. Parsey also wondered if she wanted to tell the truth, or to surprise him later. . .

Nero sighed, happy that they would end this talking soon. He could tell it was getting late, and he hoped that maybe they could all just go to sleep soon. **"Well, not that this hasn't been interesting, but considering what's ahead I think we should all get some sleep. No matter where you stand on these things, you have to agree that getting ready for testing tomorrow is imperative. I say we all go and rest, let these nice folks wear themselves out training right before the examination, and we'll get a bit of sleep before hand. Just from looking I can tell this fellow agrees."** He said, finishing up pointing at Nico. **"So, how say you all? You ready to beat the current competition, then only the best of the best will be here in the end. A better ending for us all, let these fools worry about dragonfire and training while we rest up for the test."**

Salvia shook her head as the girl turned her attention to the swordslinger nearby. Sighing, she went back through the last of her forms, before fishing up. Collapsing Godspear into it;'s carry form, little more than a stick or short club, she slipped it back on the hanger on her belt. For the most part, she was satisfied, and felt better after burning off a few layers of nervous energy. Tomorrow would be the proving grounds of sorts. Best not to wipe herself out. Making her way back over to the lockers she opened hers back up, slipping away Godspear on a hook, and withdrew some night clothes, looking around she sighed. Walking up to the large group of Faunuses, she cleared her throat. "Excuse me... does anybody know where the changing rooms are? Or at least where I can change clothes?"

Seilber sighed and shook her head. "Yeah, we do need to start settling in for the night," she agreed. Glancing around she wondered where the best place to sleep would be. In the process, she made a point to locate where she might find a pillow and at least a blanket. She really hadn't brought much of anything with her, besides her weapons, what she wore, and that was about it. So far it seemed most people were all settling down in the main hall, which the locker room was attached to. Fine by her. Nero seemed to be calming down, but she wasn't sure about him. Silas seemed safe enough. Cyrul might just be interesting though... Her thoughts were interupted by a girl's voice cutting through the air. Turning she regarded Salvia then blinked. "Good question. Anybody," she asked, turning back toward the guys.

Yasuri accepted her outstretched hand and a shadow of grin appeared at the mention of her name. Fresh and a little hot-tempered, the name suited her well. "That was my semblance, I can manipulate gravity, makes for some killer workouts without having to carry inconveniently sized weights so I can practice anytime," he said somewhat proudly. Yasuri pondered asking her the same question in return, but he had always been taught that a women had her secrets. "Can I have my weight back?" He asked, she was an interesting girl but he really hated to leave a workout half finished and he needed to get to sleep soon to be ready for the trials tomorrow.

At Yasuri's question, Parsey kicked the ground softly, and put on a mock _deep in thought_ face. "I don't know, , , What if I want to use it?" She asked sarcastically, before tossing it to him, a grin painted on her face. "By the way. . . What do we do if we didn't bring. . . A sleeping bag?" Parsey asked, while her cheeks reddened. She had assumed beds would be provided, and had assumed wrong.

Yasuri resisted the temption to roll his eyes at Parsey's comment as he took his weight and clipped it back on, of course if she really had wanted to use it he would've given it to her as he had several more in his bag. As he turned back to face her after making sure he weight was secured he heard her embarrased question. Yasuri managed to hold back an exasparted sigh and after briefly considering replied, "You can have my sleeping bag, it would be no trouble at all," Except for of course his back in the morning but if he just unloaded his clothes and used them as padding it shouldn't be to bad. With that respone he gestured to his sleeping bag and resumed his pratice session pushing his semblance to the max to finish the last portion.

Silus watched silently as others joined the little group that had started with just Sielber and himself. He pouted ever so slightly, the bronzed lips of the reptilian Faunus curling gently. Sielber was an interesting girl. He made a note in his head to take some time to get to know her. Cyrul too...they both seemed interesting....intriguing. He smiled, lost in reverie at the thoughts of what those two looked under the sheets, the smile turned into a wicked grin before his mental picture was destroyed by the little jumping ball of energy beside him that had suddenly stopped. He grinned and shook his head "I wouldn't suggest that...my semblance allows me to contain and use the reaction caused by fracturing Crystal Dust" he said with a slight smile "you may just blow your head off" he nodded before turning back to the main conversation, the smile turning quickly into a frown "we aren't given rooms yet? Am I missing something" he pouted before looking at Seilber with a grin and saying out loud "If that's the case I may actually need to sleep with someone warm blooded...I may actually die if that's not the case" he winked at Seilber and looked around "I have no clue about change rooms and so on."

When Yasuri offered his sleeping bag, Parsey turned a deeper shade of red, and slapped him. "I will not share your sleeping bag with you!" She said, flustered, quickly turning around and storming off. She couldn't believe his nerve to say that to her with a straight face. "All kinds," She mumbled, and pulled her clothes tighter around her, as if trying to hide in her dress. She avoided eye contact with everyone nearby, and headed to the opposite corner of the speech hall. Parsey studied people silently from one of the corners of the room, hoping to gain more insight into the people of Beacon.

Timothy finished up his tour, ending it at the lockers. He'd gotten acquainted with the grounds, and the sun was setting. Tim had to grab a good sleeping spot before they were all taken. Reaching his locker, Tim took off his coat to reveal a plain black shirt underneath. He removed his sabatons and deposited both his coat and his sabatons into the locker, replacing them with his sleeping bag and a book. _A complete guide to dust_. He didn't really care about dust that much, but he wanted something to read before going to sleep. Tim went into the main room which was the designated sleeping area. There weren't too many people hanging around, and some people had already set up their sleeping gear. He took a quick look around. He noticed a group of faunuses talking to each other including, surprisingly, a lizard faunus. Tim's eyes wandered, looking for a spot. He found spot close to a wall, fairly far away from the other ones and began walking to it. As he walked, he analysed the people around him. He spotted the large man with the spear from the morning, groups here and there with mixes of humans and faunus, a guy training with weights and a girl in the corner who was silently observing everyone. Timothy dumped his sleeping bag down by the wall and spread it out. Satisfied, Tim sat down on it cross legged, opening his book in the process. Tim flicked through the pages with no goal in mind, sifting through the thoughts in his head. The reason he'd brought the book to read was so that he could have something to pretend to do while he thought about other things. With his back to the wall, he began pretending to read _the complete guide to dust_, which he'd already read. He could use the time before bed to quietly observe those around him. If what he had heard about Beacon was right, they would make teams the next day, and Tim liked to be prepared. And if it was wrong, well, it never hurts to be prepared.
