Commando - Taking his expertise with firearms into account, and his moderate anatomical capabilities, Varren found himself most effective by fashioning such a class. Going by the book, a commando is an individual who shows cunning advancement in the field of ballistic weaponry, showing a knack for the practice at an early age, and excelling past those who would be considered veterans in the span of a few years. A literal sense of being the bullet. Fully intertwining themselves with their instruments, and wielding such contempt to unsurmountable extents on the battlefield. Though only a few individuals full under such a title, Varren being one of them, they thrive in the midst of combat, but falter in social interactions. Though most commandos tend to make themselves the focus of their enemies, Varren fancies hit-and-run attacks and tactics which involve stealth. Varren has also dabbled in basic medicine, carrying a backpack full of first aid necessities. However, he tends to only pack a small amount of resources, in precaution to impeding his movement.

After Magpul absorbed Daewoo’s copyrights after the Korean company went bankrupt, a majority of the weapon platforms were trashed or placed in storage, as they were considerably outdated. Though, after being authorized access to the rifles the company manufactured, Varren managed to build a mountain out of a molehill. Based off of the K11 DAW rifle, the boy updated and refined the integrated range-finding system, tweaking the air-burst reception time and minor adjustments to the RPM. Chambered with the traditional 5.56x45mm NATO round, a cartridge which has been in advent use for more than a century. The gun receives most of its credit due to the air-burst combat technique, loaded with six 20x30mm HE grenades, the K30 abides by the same protocol as its predecessor. Firing in bursts of three, the first two grenades detonate on impact, meanwhile the last explodes a few meters away from its target, utilizing the air-burst technique which creates an area of effect of one and a half meters. The K11 originally operated off of four firing modes, the last employing the same trigger to fire both built-in weapons. Varren found this as an infantile hindrance, and critiqued the weapon to surpass such a disability. Being a one-of-a-kind weapon he fashioned himself, it has became his primary and most effective choice in combat. Outfitted with a suppressor, and a pair of goggles with a built-in display of the rifle’s thermal optics.
Chambered with a lethal .308 round, molded into a compact and easy to maneuver frame, the Magpul M93B is a fighter’s best friend. On par with most battle rifles, the firearm makes up for its lack of range, with an easy to control rate of fire. Though Varren would normally be rendered unable to fire such a caliber, the bullets are developed for silenced use, giving the user less recoil to deal with. Along with the assistance of a foregrip, the rifle is handled with expertise. This weapon is used less than his primary choice of armament.
Providing a high rate of fire and chambered with an anti-materiel round, all jampacked into a small, compact product. The white wolf is a prime grade machine pistol, a perfect choice as a fallback weapon, or can be employed to buy the user some time. Able to be held with one hand and takes up barely any space, the wolf also provides an integrated rail-system; which is usually accompanied by an accurate holosight. Varren tends to keep this on his person at all times, but can only carry it around unchambered during school. It mainly serves as a memento, a gift from his family.

Born to the Yinyues family, a family which inherited the American manufacturing company known as Magpul. Since the present of a firearm was always present within the Yinyues’ house, Varren was bound to pick up on his family’s hobby. If anything, the idea of teaching a toddler how to utilize a firearm wasn’t even frowned upon. His parents believed it was a plausible idea, to enlighten the boy with prior knowledge of what he would inherit. It wasn’t long until they discovered he had a natural knack for the usage of weapons, soon fashioning and making his own adjustments to existing platforms. But such a practice became more than a pastime. It began to suck up a majority of the hours he was awake; and if he wasn’t engineering or practicing, he was most likely studying to secure his inheritance. This left no time open for social interaction, which lead up to his entitlement of the class Commando.
Personality
Varren is a fountain of self-expression, constantly flowing with emotion and passion. Considered to be an open book of his inner feelings, he conveys himself to those around him with any regrets or remorse. Though, stating his own opinions isn’t a problem; its making connections with the receivers of said opinions is his predicament. Unable to find the words to properly come across people as his true self, people are left to perceive him at their own digression. At times, he attempts to strike a conversation with others, but brushes them off as odd, annoying and a nuisance. Anatomical Defficiency: Not as strong as most would presume, Varren is generally a twig of a human being, who can somehow muster the strength to wield weapons of mediate caliber. Though anything chambered in battle or sniper rifles is a no-go, and can easily throw out his frail shoulder.
Hot Chocolate: Can’t stomach the stuff. Found out he had such a weak spot for the beverage when his mother attempted to substitute it for his addiction with coffee. The results were not pleasing, to himself nor the toilet he clutched for the majority of the night.
Skills Attributes/Abilities/Traits
Persona Fluctuations: Medically diagnosed ’dissociative identity disorder’, Varren can completely change his personality at random intervals. Such occurrences are uncontrollable, and when documented, never show any relations or possible signs of a trigger. Though, the only persona which comes out of the fluctuation is completely different from the ordinary Varren. It is basically a polar opposite of the kind mannered boy, retaining an emotionless composure, leaving no openings for second thought or remorse. The counterpart is only in control for the span of a few moments, and once the proper Varren regains his senses, he has no recollection of the past events.
Optimistic Supremacist: If a monsoon was to rain on his parade, Varren would single-handedly build a roof to protect the procession. With a skip always in his step and a smile stretched across his face, the boy always looks at the glass completely full. Of coffee.

Ark stands at about 6 feet tall, which is relatively average size for a draconian. His scales are a pristine white, with an *insert wingspan here*. He usually wears some sort of a cloak and light armor (probably some form of the armor in the picture, minus the weapons, things on his arms, and thing on his neck). Syl' Dayhlijn, or The wrath of day, is an enchanted bow made by an old friend of Ark. The enchantment on the bow prevents it from breaking easily, as well as preventing the string from wearing out or breaking. The bow is masterfully crafted, which adds to the fact that it looks cool. The Arrows that Ark uses are tipped in a combination of paralyzing poison, and enchanted dragon's blood (this is harmful to most types of Demons on Lucis)
These Daggers are specially crafted to easily slice through flesh. These are also coated in the poison and dragon blood mixture. Ark usually has 2-4 of these on his person at a time.

Ark was an orphan. His parents died before he was born, even before the ceremony. He was originally from the fire tribe, but he was born as a light draconian. An old friend of his parents had asked if she could raise him, but, due to the fact that he was a light draconian, and not fire, the church would not let her touch him. (around this time the Draconians are extremely religious) Due to his unlucky early life, he grew up mostly on the streets, as most priests or oracles couldn't stand him. At some point he ended up training with an old slayer, who taught Ark everything he knows. His reason for going to the academy is unknown.

Ark is the kind of serious character that just wants to get things done and over with. He isn't a pushover, and hates to be bossed around, though, he will try to control his temper and follow the slayer code.

Maxwell was born to the Yinyues family, a family which inherited the American manufacturing company known as Magpul. How the Yinyues managed to acquire the rights to Magpul, and all of the products under its copyright, is a story for another time. The Yinyues family always had a strange fascination for guns, for some god damn reason, and teaching a young kid to use one was perfectly fine. So, of course, his parent's forced on him that which they wanted him to inherit. Maxwell wasn't good with your everyday gun. He couldn't deal with the recoil, and the use of the gun didn't flow with his movement (yes, even a 10 year old wants to be able to move fast and fluidly when firing guns). So, Maxwell was overjoyed when his parents added another weapons manufacturer into the Magpul family. This manufacturer specialized in plasma and laser based weaponry. Oh yea, you may know that Maxwell has a brother named Varren. You may also know that Varren is good with guns. Well, there was a day when Varren decided to wave a gun in front of Maxwell, but, in a tragic turn of events, Varren had forgotten to check the safety. As a result, Maxwell lost his right arm, though it was soon replaced with a mechanical one.
Maxwell spent the next series of years learning the ins and outs of the Magpul[Redeye] weapons he was given. Given his competitive nature, Maxwell tested himself everyday, just because he wanted to be better than Varren.
Maxwell later received a letter from the Academy of the Arcane Artes. Of course, he accepted the invitation to join the school, and became pretty well known for his tactical ability, as well as his attitude and ego. During his 3rd year he was grouped with the 1st years during their first mission. Well, let's just say he led the shit out of those first years, and plans to do the same with this year's first year class.
Maxwell moved out of the Yinyues household when he was 18, and moved to Japan,where he had moved in with his girlfriend Maria, and her twin "sister".

Maxwell is rather intelligent, as well as a smart ass. He has an ego as large as a barn,which can be inflated or destroyed way too easily. He is naturally competitive, and hates to lose. He can be rather emotionally unstable at times, as he gets angry pretty easily, as well as getting depressed at the press of a button. Even though he has so many of these flaws, he can be a genuinely caring person, when he isn't being an asshole. He is also pretty damn charismatic.

Biography
Dagny was one of five hatched to a family of dragons in Sweden and probably the slowest to mature in every sense of the word. Granted, she was also the most willing to learn and optimistic about the world. The mystic community was small and she was essentially home schooled, however, and this was frustrating for the curious little dragon who wanted to explore all corners of the world. Time went by and she remained mostly isolated from the big, big world of humans. Eventually, her thirst for knowledge faded away into apathy and she grew shy in her questions and interest in the world.
Much of her personality and spunk was revived when she finally left Sweden to explore the world. Easy enough for a beast with wings sized to rival a plane. It was during this time that she really learned about the world--both the magic and technology driven--around her. She learned that creatures like her--creatures born of magic--were such a minority on Earth and they needed to be protected. Very few could contend with modern technology, but dragons like herself remained strong competitors against the evolution of human technology. Her run-ins with humans left a lot to be desired, however, and she found herself mistrusting their greed and power lust.
Then, the Black Gale appeared.
An incredible moment for both worlds, for sure, but Dagny and other dragons were hesitant to have anything to do with the phenomenon. But, time went on and the Black Gate proved dangerous not only for humans, but for other mystical creatures as well. And the second world, Lucis, proved to be swelling with magic, which spawned interest for the mystic beings of earth. Already identified as a guardian of sorts for the magical community, Dagny's personal interest grew in the Black Gate and the academies dedicated to maintaining it.
Needless to say, when she received the letter four years ago, she decided to take the school up on its offer.

Dagny's motivated and ambitious, and doesn't really do anything half-assed. Like, if you're walking, she's POWER WALKING. If you're eating dinner, she's DEVOURING DINNER. While this can make her come of as intimidating or intense, she's generally in a good, loud mood. She used to get embarrassed and quiet down, but now she's rather confrontational when she gets odd looks or whispers--though she doesn't usually mean harm.

Dragons are far sighted so up close, they can't see as well. Because of her natural size and weight, Dagny is physically slower than most fighters. While it's nearly impossible to penetrate or bruise her skin, any damage to her mouth or eyes will hurt like a bitch. Magic can do harm to her, too. She's not as strong as a full fledged dragon either.

Fire breathing, super strength, and super tanky. Her true form is compacted into her human body, making her ridiculously dense and massive despite her being average size for a person. This weight makes her extremely hard to knock of her feet. In addition, he is capable of creating ichors to alter the biology of living things, (essentially mutagens), though his homunculi are the only things genetically unstable enough to use them. Unlike other, less specialized alchemists, he cannot concoct explosives or alter inorganic material.

Biography: Created by an Alchemist dedicated to understanding the spark of life, Experiment 736 spent his "childhood" as the favored creation of his "father", as he demonstrated the intelligence that his kin lacked. Upon his father's death at the hands of one of his own spawn, 736 took up his mantle to continue his work.
Personality: While blessed with true sentience, some would even say brilliance, 736 reminds most who meet him quite quickly that he is not human. If he has emotions, he certainly doesn't display them in any way and cannot detect them in others. Though he attempts to do what he believes is right, he has no inborn sense of morality. Due to this, he will often say things that others find disturbing, albeit politely and articulately. He often makes references to the past lives of his body parts in conversation (thus why few people end up talking to him.)
Weaknesses: As far as can be told, 736 does not possess an actual soul. Given his rather massive frame, he is also quite clumsy. Having spent more-or-less his entire life in his father's laboratory, he has no real concept of friendship and many people find his appearance and behavior more than slightly disturbing. Though he doesn't show it, perhaps the strongest emotion he has ever felt is the fear that his existence will turn out to be inconsequential and that he has no place in either world.

Short Biography: Sylus grew up quietly in a small elven settlement deep in the forests of Lucis. When the Black Gale appeared, Sylus's father, a well-known and accomplished adventurer, became a gatekeeper, only to vanish about 3 years ago. Sylus believes that becoming a gatekeeper himself would be the only way to find out what happened to him, so it was a no-brainer for him to accept entrance into the academy. His mother warned against him going, as she didn't want to lose her son as well, but Sylus sees no other acceptable future for himself.
Personality: Sylus is rather shy around unfamiliar people, especially in large crowds. He slowly becomes more comfortable around people as he gets to know them, and once he has made a few friends he is quite friendly, optimistic and outgoing around them.He has a serious attitude when it comes to his studies, as he wants nothing more then to follow in his father's footsteps, and hopefully find him. He is also very fond of nature and spends as much time among plants and animals as he can, preferring to study, eat lunch and such around school grounds rather than indoors.

"I was born to a pair of genius parents who were studying the works of Black Gale. Neither of them had anything to do with the peace that was created between the worlds, they were simply curious about the anomaly and wished to study it. The Voidlings come from many different races and share no similarities except for one: they have been unfortunate to catch the attention of those vastly their betters. The effects of even a small amount of Void power can mutate the affected into great monstrosities, leave them unchanged, or anything in between. The effects can be somewhat directed on the whims of the Voidkin, but are still unpredictable even then, As such the cases of the Voidlings are unique to the individual.
For Raule, the results were minor appearance changes. His ears elongated drastically while his hair was bleached a snow white. His nails naturally sharpened until it was more accurate to call them claws and his eyes are now red, and glow a soft crimson in the dark.
Voidkin
These paradoxical beings for the most part are still largely shrouded in mystery, if only because they so rarely bother to interact with the worlds. Even then most of their interactions seem to be limited to spreading their power at random, infusing individuals with mere drops of their energy. Aside from these mysterious incidents these beings seem content to remain where they reside. Their ability to reach into either world aside, little else is known about their abilities. Presumably they are capable of far greater feats than the Voidlings, but to what scale is undetermined.

A deadly close quarter combatant that specializes in unarmed styles mixed with the natural energies, both Void and human, that flows through the user’s body. Capable of reinforcing their bodies to superhuman levels, they shrug off mighty blows while returning them in kind. Their Void energy results in powerful, but self-destructive bursts of power that allow them to erase enemies in their way before their bodies begin to erode from within.
At the height of his power so far, Raule can wrap himself in a shroud of Void energy for about 10 minutes. The energy would be dense enough at this point to render small arms fire essentially ineffective, and with it coating his fists he'd be able to destroy armored units with sustained assault. He's also capable of firing short-ranged blasts of Void energy that would leave no trace of an unprotected human.
While in this state, his physical prowess is also pushed to the utmost limits. Even without the coating of Void energy his fists can pulverize stone, and he's tough enough that small arms fire would prove insufficient to put him down immediately. In terms of speed and agility, unless the wielder is superhuman themselves firearms are near useless in close quarters given he can move faster than a regular human would be able to keep up and aim against.

Finding a material that was able to withstand the Void’s energy was not an easy a task. He was forced to venture far beyond the safety zones of the Black Gale. Finding a smith that could work it was even harder. It took a master blacksmith who had adopted the advanced technologies of Earth to melt and shape the material.
His weapons are a pair of claw-tipped gauntlets, and sharpened greaves; the front is shaped into a sharp cutting edge and is a bit heavier than regular pieces as a result. The metal is a white-grey in coloration. The gauntlets are covered in a perpetual layer of frost, and leave frost crystals in the air with their passing. The greaves on the other hand crackle with electricity, sparks and arcs often dancing around the pair.

A fairly closed lip is kept when it comes to Raule’s whereabouts prior to his time at the Academy. As far as anybody knows he survived and was changed by an encounter with a Voidkin when he was 13. The small town and surrounding forest he called home was not so fortunate and erased from existence, a massive crater left in its place. What occurred in the two years prior to his arrival at the Academy is still anyone’s guess, but he’s attended it for the last five years successfully.

Despite his appearance and “race”, Raule enjoys the days he can spend without the company of his weapons. Flexible and tolerant, he goes with the flow rather easily amongst his acquaintances. Not overly cheerful or enthusiastic, Raule is more reserved about how he expresses himself. Reliable and responsive though, he’s the type of person to take things into his own hands rather than wait for others, but he’ll never try and stand in the spotlight.

His existence, like all other Voidkins, is an anomaly. While he still requires sleep and does age, many of his biological needs are no longer that. The Void essentially constantly purges his body of external influences and sustains him in their absence. He requires no sustenance and has a high resistance to poisons, toxins, and diseases. At the same time, magic that influences one’s internals such as telepathy or mental illusions are quickly broken against Raule. Sadly, beneficial magics, such as healings or blessings, are also rendered ineffective for him. Magic with enough power behind it will punch through the Void’s effects, but its effects will be reduced.
Void energy is highly destructive to put mildly. If it exists, the Void will try and fix that and leave nothing in its passing. Matter, energy, even spiritual existences are all touchable with the paradoxical energy.
It essentially acts as a universal corrosive and will, given enough time and a steady supply, dissolve anything into nothing. Density is the main factor in how resistant something is towards the Void's effect as there is more material to corrode away.
As befitting of his class designation, Raule is an experienced warrior. He fares well in messy melees, but shines in combat against individuals. Despite still attending the Academy, he’s already seen his fair share of ventures into the Black Gale. The fact that he has returned alive speaks enough.

Born shortly Lucis and earth came together, he was an orphaned child who was taken in by a magician. A lucis magician, who had turned to earth to live and work there. Gabriel worked under him, and was taken care of. Now, the man who he had been picked up by was no average magician, but instead, was a inter-world weapons smuggler under the guise of a entertainer. Raised by such a man, Gabriel was asked to take up a fake name and was to help him with his duties. He did, with much vigor, help out his foster father. He grew up quickly, and was able to learn from him with little effort or argument. This was all and good, until 'Uriel' grew up and eventually wanted to go to school. At 14, he was invited to the Academy of Arcane Artes, and had a very awkward discussion with his father. Now, although he wished to keep receiving Uriels help, he would let his son go to the school. Uriel isn't too aggressive, but he does enjoy toying around with people when he can. Now, although he enjoys a good fight he isn't up for severely injuring others. He rather, is in a fight so long as he has the spotlight and can cause some destruction. These urges, though, have recently started to dwindle a bit. In his third year, he has been finding himself calm and lacking destructive wants more often then not. Although his history might suggest otherwise, Uriel wants to have a legitimate job. He has no resistances to any form of magic, and a good physical attack can knock him out, if he doesn't die or feint due to blood loss.

Rei doesn't know, nor care, how she came to be. Because as far as she cares she's lived a life of continuous luxury. Sure there where some lean years, but being who she was, it wasn't hard for her to get what she wanted. As far back as Rei can remember her life was nothing but one thrill seek after another. Most of the time she just slept around, but occasionally she'd find herself getting off in a fight, or settling down and raising a family. These dream-like memories hold some importance to Rei, but only because she knows they're things she's done in the past, and now seeks something new to do in the future. She heard about this Arcane Academy as well as these "Earthlings", which drove her interest in their direction. Besides that, she felt that this would make a good setting for some... Guilty pleasures. But not only that, but she figured this could also help her elevate the status of demons in Lucis, to create a safe haven for them where they don't get hunted down all the time and have to go back to hell (It's a pretty shitty place, believe it or not). Though Rei is a fearless girl, she knows when she finds herself in a bad rut. Many anti-demonic things are highly damaging against her and she lacks any real means to overcome them. In that state she can't use her magic or even her regular demonic strength, at least not until she changes back into a succubi. Rei also isn't too great against tough enemies who can resist her magic, as her physical attacks are subpar compared to other demons. Rei is a instinctual fighter as well, and has a hard time figuring out tactics or using techniques in combat.

As a succubi Rei has access to Illusion magics and Shapeshifting. Her illusions can affect most things with a pulse, though notably not useful against the undead, constructs, and those who can temper their minds (Like monks and wizards). At the very least she has to put a lot of energy into it. The illusions affects one's mind and how they perceive the world, to the point that to a less knowledgeable person she may as well be a reality warper. However she can only affect one sense at a time , and repeated use against a single target makes it less effective. She predominately uses her Shapeshifting to take on different physical forms for sex, but she can do partial transformations and turn into more things than just humanoid forms, but she has to have bounded with them at some point if she wants to transform with them on the fly. And by bound I mean she has to have sex with it.
Physically Rei is also much stronger than your average mortal, at least she's as strong as their maximum potential. She's also pretty tough, able to resist a lot of pain and illnesses. She'd need to otherwise she'd have a lot of STDs.

Ralthavar carries and uses many weapons. One of the most often used is his signature Double Orc Axe. In the hands of others this weapon is cumbersome and impractical. But in the hands of Ralthavar it's capable of facing off against even the most skillful of opponents. The blades are made of adamantium, a material known to phase through other metals like water, and sunders them thusly. Another weapon that Ralthavar carries is a magical club known as the Boulder Head Mace. He can launch the mace head into the air where it will transform into a large granite boulder, threatening to crush anything in it's path. He also owns another magical weapon known as the Shift Steel. It appears to be a simple steel dagger, but it's capable of changing the size of it's blade and hilt, so it may turn into a dagger to a great sword, or from a longsword to a spear. Another weapon Ralthavar carries is actually his armor. Both a symbol of his status as well as practical protective fear Rathalvar owns a set of highly ornate full-plate armor with a patching Tower Shield. The armor is not made from metal, but carved from stone. In anyone else wearing it is a death sentence. But thanks to Ralthavar's blood, he can don the armor and wield the shield as though it was nothing to him.

Short Biography
Ralthavar was born just a few years after the liberation of Malakaus, the land of the orcs, from the Demon God Karnage. He grew up during what his father calls "The Harmony", where orcs attempted to make amends to the other races whom they waged war against. It was a difficult time for them, as their war spanned centuries, and devastated much. It would only make sense that none trusted the orcs, but they tried anyways. Even at a young age, Ralthavar did his duty to try to make peace with the other races of Lucis. Though he was still raised in the way of the orcs, Ralthvar acted as a bridge between the orcs and the races of Lucis, in an attempt to foster a better future. When he heard of the Arcane Academy being formed with the Earth World beyond the black gate, Ralthavar volunteered himself to lead his people and anyone else willing to join them. Thus he created the group "The Harmonious First", a mixed collection of orcs, elves, dwarves, goblins, and other races in Lucis to not only represent Lucis as a whole, but to ease tensions between his people and his world.

Ralthavar can certainly act the part of a boisterous bruiser who thinks of violence first and peaceful alternative second. But he can also be the opposite if it suits him. Ralthavar is unique amongst his kind in that he at least considers nonviolence as a solution instead of the only solution. He is very accepting of others to the point of stupidity, employing those who have obviously ill intention against him and his friends. And while he would defend them to the death, he would do the same to those who would betray him, if only because he see's it as his respectability to not only keep them alive, but punish them in a way most suiting.

This extremism even extends to his everyday life; nothing is too miniscule that it can't be taken seriously, from a petty insult to the murder of a love one. Ralthavar has a lot of power that he doesn't know how to control.

Individually Ralthavar is a skilled warrior. He is agile even in his signature heavy stone armor, and even without it he's a tough orc to crack. He has some magical abilities but he can only use them when he gives into his Blood Rage, which itself taps into the residue power of Xia, the former orc Goddess of Growth. Though his spells are nature based even he isn't sure what magics could happen during his Blood Rages. It could vary from anything to turning into a colossal beast or sprouting an entire forest around him, or calling form a tornado that ravages the land and would likely kill him in the crossfire. The only thing that can be said for certain is that the stronger his rage, the more powerful the spell.

Ralthavar also has a companion named Andari, a Worgan (Giant Wolf) whom serves as his mount and close friend. Though the only ones who do so unquestionably are the orcs, whom only make up thirty out of the hundred. Weapon: Elodie uses a sword that is more ceremonial than practical. Crafted not through flames and hammerblows but through meticulous chiselling, she wields a flashy, sparkling long sword made out of a single piece of quartz. Perfectly white and surprisingly light, it’s symmetrical and balanced, roughly three feet long. In the darkness, it shimmers a ghostly aura, the only indication that it’s an ensorcelled blade, enchanted to be light enough that the princess can actually swing it around.

Biography: When she was still a princess, groomed to becoming a queen, Meiron didn’t think much of her position. It was something she was born to, and all those lavish luxuries were things that she took for granted. As one of the few pureblooded Kamiris left in Lucis, she was expected to become the next ruler of her country, forming a pact of fealty with practically every single citizen in her territories. All those things were planned, and all those things…didn’t happen.
Why? Because people got sick of the monarchy and rebelled.
Within a few months, the civil war had reached the castle that the princess lived in. Following that was a year-long siege, before the peasants finally overcame the castle walls. The royal family of Elo-Dezemineh, thus, were executed quickly. The only reason Meiron lived was because her body double took her spot on the guillotine. Yet, despite all the bloodshed, and all those supposedly traumatizing events…Meiron didn’t exactly care. Under the guidance of a few loyalists, she escaped the country, took on a fake name, and, despite the fact that her disguises were revealed quite handily by her big mouth, she somehow managed to survive long enough to get to the one true neutral ‘nation’ in Lucis.

Interestingly enough, the Headmaster granted her amnesty without having her take any sort of entrance exam. People say that it’s because he’s a pedophile, but others say that it’s just called ‘being a halfway decent person’.
Personality: Elodie Maya is arrogant, in the charming, silly way that only an egotistical little girl could be. At times, it even looks like she’s trying too hard to be like a proper Ruler, to the extent that she’ll break rules because she ‘makes the rules’. A weird first year, to be sure, but despite her pride and her big mouth, Elodie definitely strives to be a good person.

Despite being raised up in an environment of political intrigue or whatever, Elodie sucks at lying, yet paradoxically sucks at being honest. She’s pretty terrible at expressing her feelings, making her a socially awkward person overall.

Kamirisean Magic – A system of magic unique to pureblood Kamiris, it revolves around the concept of utilizing contracts between a ‘master’ and a ‘servant’ in order to do magical things. First and foremost, a contract must be drafted and signed with the blood of both participants. The contents of the contract itself does not matter, simply that both names are provided. After a contract has been formed and the spell has been said, a small line will appear on left arm of the Master, creating a link between the two of them. If examined very closely, that line would be the name of the Servant. As more and more contracts and made, more and more of these lines will appear, creating a vine-like tattoo wrapping around the arm of the Master. Death is the only way to break the contract without the consent of the Master.
After the contract is made, Elodie is capable of three major things. First off, she is able to take one-tenth of all her Servant’s mana and make a ‘public pool’ from it, in which they can all take from freely. Through this, even if they run out of their own mana, they will be able to cast spells longer by relying solely on the public mana pool. Second, the Master is able to allocate the stats of strength and speed amongst her Servants. While verbal consent is required for the trade-off to happen, through this, she is able to make one of her contracts stronger, faster, or more durable, at the expense of another’s physical attributes. Finally, the princess is capable of switching the positions of her subjects at whim, though it does take a reasonable amount of mana to do so.
Of course, all this magic is fairly useless if she doesn’t have Servants the first place.
And it also sucks because Elodie never got to the more complex parts of Kamirisean Contract Magic because, you know, every other Kamiris is dead?

Unicorns are good as passing as normal Humans because their physical power is roughly the same as one when not in their Unicorn form. As for their Unicorn form; because of the shape of their body, they have trouble dealing with anything behind them, as well as turning around fast enough to deal with anyone attacking them, not helped by the fact that they can only channel magic through their horn in this form. They also have a hard time getting someone off of their back. Also, the loss of their hands means that they can only grab things with their mouth. Because the transformation form from Human for to Unicorn form takes roughly ten seconds, changing forms in battle leaves him open to attack

Sapient AI - Yuga isn't a robot per say, but sentient soft ware. Specifically she's an attempt to create an artificial intelligence capable of adapting and replicating the personality and knowledge of others. Yuga is a newer model with an more easily adaptable memory and better grasp of personality and independence.
Class
Tank - Yuga prefers forms with heavy armor and heavy firepower. Be it artillery pieces or giant mechs. Generally being tough to kill but also able to draw as much focus on her as she can.
Weapon
Yuga's weapons depend on what sort of body she inhabits, and she can only inhabit machines that have a compatible Operating System specifically made for her. That being said she can easily hack that OS into most machines if there is some way for her to connect directly into the terminal. Most earth-made computerized terminals she can attach a sort of "bug" if she has access it's hard drive directly using a device built into her current body (See the Appearance) though she can also upload her OS through physical port. If the device is capable of receiving Wifi or other similar wireless data she can also attempt to download her OS that way, though it does require permission from the terminal (So she basically uploads herself akin to Malware).
Yuga's current body (See the appearance) is incredibly durable and agile. Her strength is also well beyond human but not much higher than that. This body's only unique defensive weapon is creating reflective barriers can deflect kinetic objects back to their point of trajectory. It's mostly used for large, low velocity objects, such as falling rocks and such. It can be used to deflect smaller anti-personnel caliber bullets up to .357, but it strains the barriers. Also useless against lasers. It's a two-way barrier as well: Nothing goes in or out. She can also make her body glow at various light levels, from faint ambient light to like that of a flash bang.
Yuga has a more combat focused chassis with much higher durability and weapons, but notable lacks hands for finer dexterity. Her right arm consist of a GAU-8/A Avenger 30mm rotary cannon with various attachments and accessories added to make the recoil more manageable. Her left arm is a variant of the Milkor MGL that is essentially "Double Barrel" though it is more accurately over-and-under. Yuga's shoulders also have twin linked Nebula VM20 plasma burst anti-armor blasters. It has a shorter range than the GAU-8 but but the searing heat from the plasma bolts makes it more reliable in disintegrating armor and melting flesh. It can also be sent to "Less-than-Lethal" on the occasions that Yuga must not kill her targets or be wary of friendly fire.

Yuga Abubu was the Eighteen Yugu AI created by a heartbroken scientist. He wanted to try to create an AI that could replicate the personality and memories of his dead daughter, but of course at some point during the process the scientist went insane and died. His research was claimed by a shadowy government organization as well as Yuga and her siblings. Yuga was one of the few AI's who developed enough to be considered "Sentient". She was quickly able to pick up basic school educational knowledge and essentially passed highschool when she was only three years old. And because she was the only one of her siblings to pass the personality test she was also allowed to join the Academy of the Arcane Artes to test her combat capabilities.
Originally she was simply going to be sent into the Black Gale on her own, however the price of her combat bodies and the unknown threats within the Black Gale made it too risky to send her alone, and even their scouting machines failed to come back after sorties. They also can't seem to access their machines once they past the Black Gale, and attempts to set up bases within the Black Gale were also equally ill-advisable. They couldn't get any information off of their robots and scouts once they left, and rarely do they ever come back. The only ones who did never went far in the first place. Thus, it was decided to be more practical for Yuga to attend the Academy of Arcane Artes to learn exactly what threats were within the Black Gale so she could send the data back to her company for further analysis, which in turn would help her combat these threats. (Basically she's at the Academy because it was cheaper to have her work with them than risk her multimillion dollar bodies for exploration since the other scouts they sent failed to come back and the ones that did don't have anything new. They also couldn't access any data they picked up once they pasted the Black Gale, so there was no safe way to transfer the data back.)

Yuga is a pretty passive person. You could almost say she's boring. She doesn't really react to insults or compliments. Of course she'd be more willing to hang out with people who don't make fun of her. Will find ways to occupy herself if no one has anything for her to do.

Yuga's current body is made for physical durability, but aside from that it can be shutdown with EMP's and such. It's also not suited for combat so it lacks any specific weapons to defend herself with. Yuga is actually afraid of the dark and will always try to make or be around some sort of light source. If for some reason she gets stuck in a dark area she will freak out. Yuga isn't sure why she's so afraid of the dark, though she thinks it might have to do with her original programming as the scientist who made her in the likeness of her daughter probably had a phobia of the dark. Yuga unfortunately picked that up, and can't seem to be rid of it.
Yuga as an AI is also defenseless to others manipulating her programming, if they can reach her terminal or gain access directly to whatever body she's in. While not so much an issue when she's in her body (Because she can fight back), her Main Terminal lacks self-defense. While it is safeguarded by various firewalls and such (It even has a self-destruct as a last resort) anyone competent in AI programming or has enough time to hack into her system could very well change who she is the next time she goes to link herself up to her Main Terminal. And she wouldn't know until she uploads herself, and by than it'll be too late.

Yugu can edit and upload her own knowledge so she can preform jobs depending on what sort of knowledge she uploads into her mind. Specifically what she does is alter her "Memory Banks" to whatever new Memory Bank she has with her. Memory Banks are pretty much different algorithms she can download into herself so she can use whatever skills are put onto those algorithms. It's sort of like having a mental step-by-step guide that Yuga can instinctively do. She can alter and make hybrids of these Memory Banks, but there's a limit to how much data her Memory Banks can hold. More sophisticated and detailed memory banks typically use up a lot of data, not including new data she'd add simply from learning. Her creators would normally send her different memory banks but she can make some herself simply by observing and learning about others, then copying what she learned into blank Memory Banks if she has them uploaded into her body. These Memory Banks come in the form of physical chips she puts into the back of her head.
Yuga is also technically immortal. She isn't reliant on her physical body at all: should it be destroyed she simply moves to her Main Terminal which essential serves as her Spawn Point. The Main Terminal is essentially a super computer/miniature robotic factory where Yuga stores her other bodies, including replacement bodies of her current form (But not her combat body as it's way too expansive to make more than one of if they aren't going to see regular use). At the Main Terminal Yuga can store her memories and send them back to the Company for record keeping, as well as holding a copy of Yuga's AI Code. These codes are essentially save files like those you'd have in a video game, and like a video game she has to come back regularly and store her AI Code if she doesn't want to forget anything should she end up destroyed before than. The Main Terminal also requires Yuga to check in once a day unless otherwise specified, however it can only go for a week before it creates a new Yuga. While this Yuga has access to the most recent AI Code, it would be made specifically for the task of finding out the whereabouts of the previous Yuga. It cannot serve any other purpose until it finds a sufficient answer. If it finds the original Yuga alive it will attempt to bring her back or at least share her data to report back to the Main Terminal. If the Yuga is destroyed it would also report that and salvage whatever data is left available. If the new Yuga cannot find any remains of the original Yuga it will return to the Main Terminal and report back to the Company. Within a week or so the Company would send back a new AI Code of Yuga using her most recent memories, thus allowing her to come back just herself, albeit voided of any knowledge she had since her last time leaving the Main Terminal.

Yuga keeps in contact with her other siblings and expects some of them to arrive to the Academy within the year. She's also the only one of her siblings to still refers to herself as Yuga Abubu. She also needs to eat, albeit not as much as a normal human would. She's much better at digesting and processing biomass so she doesn't necessarily have to "Eat" food. She can identify what she eats to process it's qualities and determine if it's safe to be consumed by others using this knowledge. She prefers meat however, specifically chicken, especially when it's fried.

WeaponKhayal: a relatively heavy double ended glaive with the capability of transforming into high caliber sniper rifle able to penetrate most armor. She made it herself her first year and since coming to the Academy, she has modified it time and time again. In her five years, she has cut its weight in half and increased its power by about a third. It's also able to transform between glaive and rifle within three seconds.

Zar was born, but barely raised in Pakistan, as she immersed her self in education in other countries after primary school thanks to her wealthy family. Maybe it was because she was born around the time the Black Gale appeared, but she had always been intensely interested in becoming a Gatekeeper. And from preschool and on, she was always attending an elite academy. Maybe it's because she's an only child or maybe she's just a really driven person, but she was always outstanding in her classes.
With the Black Gale and Lucis such a modern, exciting issue through her youth, her interest in it only grew. So, at fifteen, when she received the invitation to join the Academy, she jumped on it. And when she first arrived, the skill gap between other students...didn't scare the girl. Instead, she was inspired to work even harder so she could stand on equal footing with other students. This lead to her time at the Academy being spent on combat and tactics and on her time on Earth furthering her knowledge about technology.
Now, she's a fifth a year, ready to contribute all that she has built upon until now to the fight for peace.

Despite her resting bitch face and intimidating, boarderline-goth appearance, Zar is quite friendly upon first interaction. However, she's outspoken and will let you know when she agrees or disagrees with you. She has a sense of humor--assuming she isn't the subject--and can be surprisingly charismatic when she's passionate about something. Zar is independent but loyal and makes an effort to work with others for the greater good.

Well unlike all these freaks, she's just a human. Her melee skills are good, but probably her weakest point as she prefers to keep her distance in a battle. (AKA other 5th years are more than likely better at it.) And although she makes an effort, she still has trouble working others. Has trouble trusting others due to a fear of potential rejection or betrayal.

She's particularly strong for a human woman, as she needs to be to wield her weapon at close range. She's surprisingly quick and agile, as well. There's nothing superhuman about her, however. Even in melee, her pole arm allows her to keep her distance as opposed to getting too close to the enemy.

Living in this time of "peace" Jett still wasn't convinced this could last. His father, once a great master of the sword, fell in love with an earthling. Jett was born from an elf and a human, making Jett and exceptional cross-breed. His father was very hard on Jett, making him train everyday for 13 years with his weapon. His mother died to a fatale illness, but through this hardship, Jett maintained his training, shortly after, his father, unable to live with the grief of not saving his wife, he took his own life. Having to vacate his home, Jett was on the street. He was picked up by a criminal organization and learnt how to steal and fight without a weapon. He did multiple jobs and got into deep, he never liked the idea of what he was doing, he needed out. He left one night, knowing too much information about their organization. He has to hide is identity and changes it quite often, this includes his hair and name. Knowing that he needed protection against both the members from his old gang and the law who were after him, Jett made contact with some orcs in Lucis. Though he never revealed his true identity to them, he was able to join their children in a group called "The Harmonious First", who were attending the Academy of the Arcane Arts. He signed himself up as a student/bodyguard for the Harmonious First, even though he was relying more on their protection than they were relying on his.

He has nightvision and he is quicker than the average person almost tripling their human speed. he is very skilled at the art of the sword and hand to hand combat. Strikers voice takes on one of a females. Jett can fire a concentrated beam of magic in any direction from Striker. Striker is a magical sword who later has his own story. Even though Jett is a half-elf he answers to Ralthavar, the Half-Orc who leads the other orcs in the Harmonious First. He grew up on the East Coast of the United States, basically in New York City. His interest in cybernetics came about in his late teens, due to a pretty geeky sci-fi obsession. After his 18th birthday, he signed up in a research program that granted him his implants. It wasn't long before he realized how well they worked in tandem with his already-impressive marksmanship skills, and honed them even further together.

He's white, with blue-grey eyes and dark brown hair. Shorter, but pushed up in the front, sometimes a few short strays hang down onto his forehead. Strong chin/jawline, clean-shaven. On the taller-average side, about 6'2". Muscular, not huge, but it's fairly apparent he works out. The implants look something vaguely like Cyborgs implants from SWTOR, having nothing better as a reference point. Ignore the large mouthpiece, and you'll get the idea. As for the arm, it looks mostly human-like, just metal and cybernetic and shit. I'm sure you get the idea.

He's pretty laid-back. He's got the qualities of a leader (and they do show through), but prefers to let others work things out themselves. That said, when things need to get done, he isn't afraid to step up. He doesn't take crap from people, but he knows when to keep his mouth shut.
In short: He's mostly laid-back, but he expects respect when serious situations arise.

Kinda like Farkas and Frostbite Spiders from Skyrim. He hates man-sized spiders, things that resemble them, or going into hives covered in webs or goo that looks like their nests.
"EMP weapons? Oh, yeah. Keep those f***in' things away from me. Christ. You trying to kill me?"
They disable his computing systems, and it actually hurts him.
Skills/Abilities/Traits
He has several cybernetic implants, specifically in his arms (his right arm is actually an entire replacement, it was amputated during the research), hands, legs, feet, brain, eyes, and ears. They provide various upgrades (obviously nothing too major), such as enhanced vision, stamina, strength, hearing, making him ambidextrous, etc. Incredibly gifted as a marksman naturally, the systems in his implants increase his already-frightening skills into almost pinpoint accuracy.
Due to the amount of time he spent developing his other techniques, he's slacked on his magical ability. He isn't much more skilled than a first or second year magic-wise, but knows enough for survival purposes.

Chris is sitting on a bench outside, earbuds in. A song can be faintly heard by the freshman sitting next to him. He stares at Chris for a moment, before Chris turns and raises an eyebrow. The freshman nervously eyes the outline of a holster underneath Chris's jacket. Are you really going to judge him?
Other
He often blatantly disregards the school's uniform policy. He hates the jacket, so he just doesn't wear it, opting instead for one of his various military or utility jackets. When not wearing a jacket, his shirt sleeves are almost always rolled up casually.
He plays guitar, preferring acoustic, and does so extremely well thanks to his cybernetic arm. Is that cheating?
