Room 69
Mia Betancourt & Mathew Holmes
Blinking Mia looked up at the approaching figure, Mathew Holmes he said his name was with a deer in the headlight expression. ”N-nice to meet you as well…” came the demurred reply before his next action caught her completely off guard, her face flushing completely red as she quickly withdrew her hand. The glow from her eyes expanding with her eyes, as the last bit of what he said washed over her not entirely focused on that. Biting her lip slightly, she straightened tilting her head as she listened to him go on about not having to worry that he wouldn’t fight her. Though her eyes narrowed slightly in agitation at the suggestion she was weak, ”If I didn’t not wish to fight, mien herr, I would not be here.” the reaffirmation was more for herself, telling herself she did the right thing then it was for his benefit. Having said that, she ducked her head back down, letting her hair fall covering her glasses as she recalled the data from the few minutes previous from being trapped in the box. "Now Prove Your Worth" ”What did they mean by that…" Mathew bit back a curse 'it seems father was right; dealing with women really is like traversing a mine field.' Maintaining his smile, he said "I fear you misunderstood me; it was not my intention to claim you were weak. I of all people know that appearances can be deceiving. However not all of us are so eager to fight. Some might want to try and resolve conflict with words if at all possible. Not only that, but some of us are not...what was it that Jacob called it?" He mumbled the last part to himself "Ah, yes; 'front line fighters.'" Taking another good look at her, he thought to himself 'I wonder...just how many students are there right now without any direct combat ability are being forced to fight.' "Scheiße" The young girl muttered under her breath, of course the first time she actually acts like she has a voice would be the one time she makes an ass out of herself. Clearing her throat she opened her mouth to speak before fidgeting once more unsure of herself, looking back down at her lap toying with a loose hangnail. "A-ah....I d-didn't mean to o-offend..a-and p-people can be u-useful w-without always fighting.....r-right? She asked once more shyly peering up at him, waiting for an answer almost as if it would mean something to her as well before moving a stray piece of hair from her face, pleasantly surprised that he had not made such an issue over her eyes. 'It seems I might have to watch where I go in this conversation. It's almost as if she expects me to react badly.' Getting down on his knees so that they were at the same eye level, he responded "I never meant to imply otherwise." As he looked into her eyes, he got the feeling that something was...off about them, but he couldn't figure out what 'might be best not to mention it. Knowing my luck, it might be something that she's sensitive about.' Searching his mind for something to change the subject without looking too forced, he asked "since it seems that we'll be stuck in here for the forseeable future, is there anything that you would feel more comfortable talking about?" As Mathew moved in closure, Mia's eyes whirled slightly refocusing slightly as a new stream of data ran across it in bright white letters adding more information to the dossier building on the strange male in front of her. It accorded to her that he was doing all he could to console and make her feel more at ease, the realization brought a very small smile to the shy girl's face. Gulping slightly she took a shaky breath before gathering all her courage as the words left her mouth, "M-maybe we could get to know....e-eachother....it be...n-nice to have a f-friend here...I've n-never meet a Uni" Catching herself the girl looked down again, she forgot some found it unsettling when she used information most normal people wouldn't have, "..Lucian before..." she finished the last part in a barely audible mumble looking down again.. Mia caught herself too late; Mathew heard what she was about to say 'how? All she knows is my name, and yet she was able to learn what I truly am. That anyone could do so is most disturbing. Although I suppose I should count myself lucky that it first happened on the grounds of the Academy, seeing as I was already planing on not keeping it a secret here.' Recomposing himself, he said to her "many of us live in hiding for most of our live. I've been told by my mother that it's because our bodies contain a wealth of alcemical ingredients, the most valuable of which is our horns. Many of us live in constant fear of being discovered. Although I had already decided that I would not need to keep my true nature hidden in this school. Considering the vast amounts of powerful people here, no one would be foolish enough to raid this school for one Unicorn. I'm not sure how you were able to tell, but in the future, you might want to keep in mind just how terrified we are of being discovered." Then leaning over closer to her, he whispered in a conspiratorially voice "would you like to see it?" Her face flustered a deeper shade of red then it had been consistent at, as she caught on to the fact that he heard what she had tried to cover up looking more and more intently at her hands, "Entschuldigung...s-sorry...t-that sounds horrible..a-and...w-well... Fidgeting once more she tentatively reached up slowly pulling off her glasses, they hide most of the data stream unless she had information pulled up on the small platform, before looking at him again her hand's shaking..."I c-could tell.,.because my eyes don't lie...all they read it data...not illusion...or what thing's seem to be...just raw data..' She explained softly, blinking the glow from her eyes had intensified without the glasses to filter through and as the expanded wider at the notion of seeing an actual unicorn a small childlike wonder light up the small girls face. "Can I?" Mathew nodded "I did offer" Taking her question as a 'yes' he stood up and began his transformation. His body changing into raw white light as it was molded into an equine form with a horn, before becoming solid again. The entire process took roughly 10 seconds. "So...how do I look?" He asked, his voice coming from seemingly nowhere with a small echo to it. Lying down so that he was once again at eye level with her, he added "I must confess; I'm not used to others seeing me like this. In fact, this makes you the third person alive to ever see me in this form" he shook his head to get a stray piece of his mane out of his eyes A soft gasp caught in the girl's throat as she sat transfixed watching the boy change shapes, or perhaps reverting back to his original form was the best way to put it. "Why would anyone want to hurt something so regal? She asked shaking her head, perhaps it was because it was an animal and not a strange person that her stutter was gone. In fact the girl look visibly more relaxed and at ease then she did talking to the male not minutes ago. Blinking once realizing she forgot to put her glasses back on she did so hurriedly before bowing her head meekly at the confession of her being one of the few to see him in his natural form. "My thanks for this then, mien herr, it is a true pleasure." She replied still the well-mannered girl, however shy she many be, that her parents raised. Getting up slowly she stretched wincing slightly at the small tinge in her back from being holed up in the corner for so long. "If....if you do not wish to hide your true nature...will you stay in this form....or the other..?' Mia asked curiously before making a small loop around the box observing its dimensions, perhaps it was bigger on the inside? After all she couldn't imagine several of these being able to all fit in the main hall, or at least the section of it they were in. "You seem much more at ease. It seems I can add 'calming others down' as yet another ability my kind posses." he teased her good naturedly "as for your question; I do believe I'll be spending more time in my Human form. You never fully understand how useful hands are until you've had to go without it. Truth be told, our Human forms are not entirely a disguise. Unicorns have no 'true form', as it were. In fact, according to my mother, we don't even refer to this form as our 'Unicorn form.' While I have no memories of the incident, I was told that I was born in my Human form." he explained "But enough about me, I'd like to hear more about you Mia. I'm quite curious how your eyes gained such a strange abililty. I'm also wondering about a few words you have said that are quite strange to me...meinherr, was of them if I recall correctly. It leads me to believe that this is not the only language you speak." A soft giggle escaped the girl at the odd way he tried to speak German, before shaking her head, "Its not an ability...per say..these eyes are....not real..an upgrade if you wish...I was born blind you see. Came the soft reply as Mia looked back down at her shoes, pleased that her uniform was still reasonably presentable, glossing over a few details about her eyes. Shrugging slightly she turned back looking at Mathew, "Mein herr, it means sir. I had to learn Common to help my parents run their trading store, I kept track of all the stock and shipments, but when it's just us we speak German, its one of many Earth languages...does everyone on Lucian speak Common?" She asked curiously once more tilting her head to the side, as small quirk she maintained from her younger years whenever she was waiting on an answer. "I believe that there are small groups that have their own language on Lucian, but it's not very common. I honestly can't fathom a world with as many languages as I've heard that Earth has. How the people of your world ever got organized I fear I'll never be able to understand." Trotting over to her, he added "also, you need not be so formal with me. While my mother drove it into my head never to ask or guess a lady's age, I don't think it would be offensive of me to assume that we are roughly the same age, maybe even both first years. I'm not sure how things work in your home, but in mine, 'sir' is something we only call our elders, or our superiors in work. Last time I checked, I am neither of these to you." He added that last part with an audible smile. "Although I must admit; I find it fascinating that the technology to replace broken eyes exists, and is affordable enough for commercial use. Is that my any chance the reason why you wear glasses? Since I would assume that your eyes would already have perfect vision." "Ah! Sorry!' Mia said almost yelping if you would as she covered her mouth with her hands, it didn't even occur to her that she was being rude by being formal with someone her own age, "S-sorry..I'm not really used to dealing with people my own age...only grown up's come to the shop...' She admitted sheepishly, before mimicking his smile softly, a odd thought about just how long they would be stuck in these boxes crossed her mind, maybe this was a test of sorts.. Her mouth twitched into a slight grimace at the notion that her eyes came at a commercialized price before shaking her head, "Hmm, not really? Honestly I'm not sure what it would take to break these eyes...The glasses act as a screen. I can use it to focus on certain data, or pull up anything in the past that they've recorded..So at least I won't need to take notes." The last part was meant to be a joke, she hoped she had never really told one before, it felt very surreal to have a normal conversation with someone..she wondered how long it would last before her nerves got the better of her. Mathew chuckled "indeed, that does sound like a useful feature. It must save you a lot of time studying." He took a quick look at her face 'she seems to be growing more comfortable with me.' Suddenly, an idea came to him "you know Mia, you really should smile more often. You're so much more lovely when you do" A split second later, he began to worry 'was that too soon? Gah, it's to late to second guess yourself Mathew.' Racking his brain for some way to salvage the conversation, he asked her "Would you like to touch my mane? I've been informed that most girls like to pet the manes of normal horses. If you think it would help keep you at ease, then you are welcome to." The oddity of being complimented by a Unicorn was not lost on Mia, however her first and formost reaction was to turn a rather lovely shade of crimson red at this point it was a wonder that the small girl didn't pass out due to over stimulation. "A-a-ah...t-thanks..e-ehehee-heh' Came the stuttered reply, as she reverted back to her natural timid self, toying with a piece of hair suddenly finding the ground very interesting as she tried to keep her flushed face from being completely obvious. Looking up at the hastened suggestion of petting his mane, "W-wouldn't that be a l-little r-rude...?" She asked curiously not knowing many people that would willing let someone walk up and start playing with their hair, she figured it was akin to walking up and touching a pregnant woman's belly, rather strange to say the least. "I-it does..look..soft t-though.." She added on not wanting to insult someone that just might become her first friend here. "It's hardly rude if I'm the one to offer." Sitting down on the ground, he continued "You needn't worry so much Mia; I am not easily offend. Although, I fear I might have been too forward. So if I made you uncomfortable, then I apologize." "After all, I can see us interacting with each other much more in the future, so I think it best if we were both at ease around each other. If it's not too presumptuous of me, I dare say that we might even become friends. It would be nice to have someone to turn to here after all" "F-friends..? I'd like that." Mia said with a soft smile before tentatively reaching out and barely running her fingers over his mane, surprised by how soft and smooth it was unlike horses hair which generally falls on the coarse side of things.

Box #435 Sylus, Uriel and Frontal Lobe Uriel regretted telling Sylus about the potential need for combat the instant he re-prepared his bow. In response he took out two marbles from his bag and took a few steps back. He was close to the end of the wall, and could only run left or right had the combat started. However, maybe that wouldn't need to happen. "Me too, this isn't my ideal arena, I don't like open flats." This was true. Although he wouldn't do terribly, he was much better equipped for a more open 'full' location. A forest, building, or even suburban area was much more preferable to a empty white box. " Is that other guy, ya know, here? " Uriel asked while tilting his head towards FL. Yeah, his body was here, but he was not making many movements. He also wasn't talking much to either of them. Was the robot not suited for conversation? Or was it just staying silent because it wanted too? Either way Uriel didn't like it, he wished it showed some signs of life. Some form of human action, or hell any kind of action that gave it some kind of personality. Just having it stand there and not move at all was terrible.

"Ha, you're telling me. Archery is a far more effective method of combat when there's any sort of cover or higher ground present." Sylus also turned to cautiously gaze at FL. "I'm not sure about him, or if he can even communicate... though I highly doubt he'd be here if he couldn't. I'm suspicious that he might be waiting until we both turn our attention entirely away from him, so we should avoid doing such a thing for now. Now then, let us see if we can't find some other way out of here then resorting to violence, if you please." Sylus put the arrow back in his quiver and let go of the bowstring, still gripping the bow with one hand in case Uriel had other ideas.

The trip was uneventful, though exhilarating as always. That's griffin flying, for you. Chris said his goodbyes to the griffin after the landing, and promised to come visit it soon. This was the griffin that had taken him to the academy in his very first year, and every year afterwards. He became friends with it quickly after a few visits to the school's griffin nest in his first year, and started taking it out for flights. They're cool, extremely intelligent, majestic-ass beasts. Who wouldn't want one?

Chris strolled across the courtyard, and into the main hall casually. He was a little late, sure, but- Oh. The speech was over. Shit. He didn't think he wasted that much time getting there. It seemed only the fifth years seated conveniently close to the back of the hall where he was, were left. Walking along the back row, he noticed that they were monitoring groups of what appeared to be students in white boxlike rooms. Some fighting, some talking, some sitting quietly... Interesting, but nothing really surprised him from the school anymore.

Taking the closest convenient seat, he looked behind him to see Zarbaha and Raule. He retrieved his own holopad from his duffel before tossing the bag lightly onto the floor, and leaning his rifle up against his seat. "Zar, Raule. Hey." he said, while powering the device up. "I take it I missed Ier-Briar's spiel. What's happening?"

Collab w/ Tyrant from the West Box #435 Sylus, Uriel and Frontal Lobe Sylus had un-notched his arrow, and in response Uriel followed suit. Or at least, as close to suit as he could. He returned his marbles to the little baggie, but kept his hand near it incase he needed to panic draw. However, it looked like he might not need to do anything of the sort, Sylus looked to be the type who would warn before starting a fight. Hell, he had even said he didn't want to fight. "You've got a point there, Sylus, and you've got it. I would rather not fight as well. I've been shot with an arrow before, those things hurt like nothing else. " He also took note of the comment about Mr.Roboto over to the side. Uriel would be sure not to become too comfortable until he was absolutely sure the robot was safe to be around. "Hmm, this is a bit tricky" Sylus said, thinking aloud. "Even though we're probably expected to fight, and many of the other students are probably doing just that right now, I highly doubt that's the only allowed solution. Some of the exams and such in this school are based on finding creative solutions after all." He pondered for a moment, looking around thoroughly for any sign of, well, anything but pure white. But of course, it couldn't be that easy."Perhaps if we dawdle for long enough they'll just teleport us out, but I have very strong doubts about that. Hmmm" Sylus continued to ponder for a while, glancing anxiously at FL every now and again. Uriel listened to Sylus, and agreed with about everything he had said. Maybe waiting around would be sufficient? As these thoughts flew through Uriel's head, he took his eyes off of FL and turned to Sylus to respond. However before any words came out of his mouth, FL fell to the floor, and the resulting sound was not all that pretty. Uriel turned to the robot and spoke to Sylus at the same time. "I don't think we need to worry about that 'guy' anymore. He doesn't seem to be functioning properly, maybe someone will fix him up later. " He had put extra emphasis on the 'guy' part, to show he wasn't entirely sure thats what it was. Probably not the best way to show doubt, but it didn't matter. " So, are you some kind of...elf?" Sylus' ears stuck out to Uriel, however not all knife-ears were elves. Uriel didn't talk to any lucis-born people through the break, and had lost his touch when it came to talking to them. He had never tried to learn about much of their culture, and only knew what people had told him during school about those born there. "That is indeed what my people are mainly reffered to as, yes. I understand your confusion, from what I have heard there are much fewer types of sapient species on earth. But yes, I'm not sure what happened to... whatever that creature is. I have seen other syntetic beings before, a good number of them come here for some reason... robots, I think they're called? There certainly isn't anything like them on lucius. The closest thing would probably be undead and other deceased beings or aninimate objects brought to life by magical or alchemical experimentation. Either way, I'm quite curious about your method of combat. I think I saw you pull out a few small, brightly-colored orbs from that pouch of yours, and I sense magic from them." "Yeah, before you guys came along we thought we were the only type of truly-sentient life out there. Robots? Yep that is what they are called, man-made machines, often more dangerous then the average man himself." Uriel then grabbed two random marbles out of his bag and gave them a look, a yellow and dark blue. Safe enough for demonstration in this room. "These things are my weapon of choice. Marbles, with explosive powers within them. Have you heard of a grenade before? Basically, these are that, but weaker. They also, depending on the enchantment, will explode with a different kind of effect!" Uriel hit the two marbles together in his palm and cracked them, so the effects would combine, and then threw the marbles towards the most empty spot in the room, which would be the corner away from the two and a half of them. When they hit the ground, ice-chunks flew out. The corner and the two nearby walls caught the majority of the chunks. The ice chunks, in adition to being ice itself, were also giving off very strong electric pulses. Strong enough to give the average man a harmful shock, give their hearts a rude-awakening. " What do you got? " "Hmm, very intruiging. Similarly, I have a few types of enchantments on my arrows. Not as many types as your marbles at the moment, I enchant them all myself and am not all that skilled at the moment. I'm a second year and I think I saw you sitting farther back, that would explain our difference in that particular skill. Anyway, the types of arrows I currently have consist of two element types, fire and lightning as well as 2 others. The lightning ones simply electrocute whatever they hit. They do so for quite a while, a few minutes unless the arrow is removed. They could kill the average sapient being given enough time, so I tend to use those in only the most dire situations. Being burned is indeed also very bad, but the thing with the fire arrows is the tip breaks and erupts in flames, engulfing it's target, not lasting as long as the electric ones. The other 2 types consist of what I have dubbed 'leech arrows', and another I have dubbed 'paralysis arrows.' The leech ones drain magical energy from the target at an alarming rate, which both interferes with spellcasting and such, and can quickly fatigue or weaken spellcasters, or any lucis inhabitant with lots of magic in their blood. Although I don't rely on innate magic most of the time, I, and most elves honestly, would suffer greatly if hit with one of them. Finally, the paralysis type interferes with a person's nervous system at the entry site, locking up the muscles. I had knocked one of those earlier and if I was able to hit your arm I would have rendered it useless. As for my other skills, I can use a form of healing magic by physically touching someone and channeling my energy into them. This is a surefire way to exhaust myself, however. Also, although it's not the most useful ability in the world, I can communicate with animals through my mind. It's difficult to explain, but suffice to say I could easily calm a wild animal attempting to devour me, or convince one to help me out with something. that's pretty much my repertoire, as it were." "Well...shit." Sylus sounded somewhat like a one-man swat team, all he needed was the gun and armor. Paralyzing arrows? Yep, if he had been hit in the arm, the pain and the complete loss of mobility would have cost him the fight. Switching arms in combat was something that Uriel never really had to done, simply because his arms were generally never hit by anything like that. He also had a very wide range of skills as well. More so then Uriel, that was for certain. However, Uriel believed that with a proper smoke-screan placement, as well as having nice terrain, he could do it. Certainly not easily, but if he played his hands right, things might work out. As those thoughts flew through his head, he tried to clear them out. They certainly weren't good things to be thinking in this situation, especially this situation. "Heh, We sound like a couple of video game characters don't we?" Did Sylus even know what a video-game was? Whatever. If he didn't, Uriel wouldn't mind taking the time to explain. 'Video game? Some form of entertainment on earth perhaps?" Sylus asked curiously. "Yeah. Ok, you know what a Television set is right? And you've played games of pretend back on lusis right, when you were a kid?" This was already harder then Uriel had thought it would be. 'Don't worry, you needn't explain if it's that difficult. There are many things in Lucis I would have a very difficult time explaining to an earthling, that is the nature of our worlds I suppose. I can infer that it is some form of interactive game using a television set though, I have heard of those before. Interesting." He then seemed to ponder for a moment, then sigh. "It does seem like we'll be here for a while, not so sure how to get out of this place." He continued looking around for anything at all, waiting for this ruse to be over with if that was even something that would just happpen somehow.

Box 23 - Varren Yinyues & Rei Mavan The blinding light which has abruptly enveloped the duos which had formed was manageable. It wasn’t exactly blinding, nor did it have a burning sensation. It was just a little annoying, like the morning sun creeping through window shades. Or maybe it only appeared to be registered by his high in low brightness because of how tightly his hands were cupped over his eyes. Varren was just too noble to admit to being bested by source of light. Sure, his mother or younger friends were explainable, and honestly overpowering by default. The boy remembered being sized up by a woman roughly his size before the witch with void-panties casted her vibrant spell on the student body. Whoever she was, she had a cut of paper crumpled into her hand and was slowly advancing on the boy before the events which led up to present time. Speaking of which, when the boy leviated his arms to his sides. Followed by a few blinks as his eyes adjusted to the change in light, he began to glance around the blank box. He had a quizzical expression on his face with a tinge of worry, yet was overall intrigued with the walling system. Out of boredom, he began to limply swing his arms from side to side as he prospected his surroundings. It was very bland, as the interior designer, which he presumed was the witch, had to mass-produce these encasements on the fly. ”Wonder if we can customize these somehow… That’d be cool~! Maybe there’s a hidden switch, or a hologram console. Oh, maybe it’s one of those puzzles where I have to press the correct puzzle piece.” Regardless of his predicament, he was still acting like a young individual, not considering his safety or the problem at hand by the slightest. Instead Varren was more preoccupied with trying to figure out what his objective was. ”Shouldn’t I have somebody else in this room…? Quite sure my number was issued to another student. Maybe they’re invisible, or super teeny weeny, and I need a microscope. Perhaps they’re the box themselves? The possibilities are endless.” The boy seemed to be lost within his train of sporadic and irrational thought. If he had had his rifles on him, he would have already blown a hole through the side of the cube. Yet one thing was obvious; There had to be another individual present. The boy held his hands out and began to walk forward, trying to see if he would either collide with something or hear a fateful cry proceeded by a crunch sound. While he was blindly advancing, Varren suddenly bumped into something… softy. Even a little squishy. After taking a few steps back from the unforseeable company, he suddenly jutted his finger in the general direction of Rei, ”Either I just bumped into something which I’ll get smacked for, or you have a super duper big triple-quadruple chin!”

BOX 297 Amon's eyes widened as she saw the boxes beginning to appear, unsure of where this, was headed, but doubting there was anything she wanted in those conjured parcels. She started to feel a tingle as the numbers began to shimmer, quickly dropping the now luminescent scrap as she began to feel a strange pull to the box. Her memories of the cell she was in just days ago rose in unbidden in her mind, panic starting to enter her thoughts at the thought of being confined again. In an instinctual act of self preservation, Amon was quickly in the process of shifting to her more natural form as a Fox when she was fully transported to the box. She was easily used to shifting by now, having had a couple of decades to get used to the idea, but combined with the strange sensation of having been teleported so quickly gave her reason to be glad of not having a meal recently. It was all she could do to keep from dry heaving as soon as she was fully materialized within the box. Once she noted that she was indeed within yet another cage, she was quick to beat down the welling fear with a surge disdain. "How very droll," she said with a harsh tone, sitting on her launches, happily noting her orb, where the voice seemed to come from, had at least made the journey with her, before taking survey of the room, tails whipping about agitatedly. "It seems I've traded one box for another," her eyes focusing on the strange being she seemed to share space with at the moment, her voice taking on a glided tone, making a well practiced change to that of a person pleasantly suprised "although at least it appears I may have some company this time." She recognized the telltale signs of a robot from her time among earth, having even gained a few as gifts when posing as some rich CEO 's favorite new arm candy when she wanted someone with enough money to throw around to make her...hobbies a little more viable. This however had certainly never been seen in any sort of commercial market. It seemed more suited to construction or, as she guessed was probably more likely, combat. 'It's a shame I never got a chance to eat that cute little engineer,' she reminisced with a toothy smirk as she tried to evaluate the being before her, 'Smelled too much of oil and copper all the time, very unappealing to the pallet as it were' she thought as she pulled the orb a bit closer to her, keeping it tucked under her right paw. Her snout wrinkled as she caught a whiff of the creature in the room, smelling much the same as the engineer in fact, the whirrs and clicks coming from within a bit aggravating, much like a loud clock in a silent room. 'Ah well, no point in simply sitting here,' she decided, promptly releasing a small bit of mana directed at the mechanoid while aiming at an amicable attitude, forgoing the pheromones as she doubted it'd do much to her. Her orb grew slightly luminescent as it pulsed slowly for a few seconds, but gave no other signs of activity, Amon idly rolling it on the ground under one paw. She'd never attempted using her abilities on those of a more mechanical persuasion, save a few low end cyborgs, but it was worth a shot. "I don't suppose this'd be as easy as you showing me to the nearest exit," she asked with a conspiratorial smirk, or as best as she could manage with a muzzle full of fangs.

Box 297 Yuga and Amon
Yuga looked at her card, and as soon as the witch arrived Yuga had a feeling she knew what was going to happen. Sure enough Yuga was engulfed in a flash of light and by the time the light died down she was inside a white room. It was one of those boxes Yuga saw the witch create a while ago. If Yuga had to guess they wanted the students to fight each other here. It was isolated, so no friendly fire. Large open space too, to allow students to zone while at the same time made more stealthy fighters unable to sneak on their opponent unless they had invisibility. It certainly wasn't a party otherwise there should be snacks and such around. Yuga had wished it was a party, she could go for some fried chicken. Alas, it seemed like Ier wanted his students to duke it out. Yuga looked at her opponent. From just looking at her Yuga knew she was some sort of foc spirit, maybe a Kistune or Gumiho or something similar. She had a glowing ball which Yuga guessed was magic. She seemed to have been talking to herself by the time Yuga was paying attention to her, saying something about eating an engineer and asking for the door. Yuga shook her head. "I believe that the teachers and staff of the academy intends to have us battle here. If that is the case, the only way to leave is for one of us to die." Perhaps a bit extreme but Yuga wouldn't put it pass the school to make their students kill one another so soon. Yuga didn't seem to be attacking however. Instead she just looked around the room again as she finally managed to pick up on the school's wifi signals. Once she managed to log in she turned towards the other person. "I am Yuga Abubu." Reaching into a compartment on her leg that passed for a "pocket", Yuga took out what looked like a smart phone. "Would you like to watch some videos with me, to pass the time?"

Francois Jeannotte
If the teal-haired boy before him said anything, Francois didn't hear it. Now, there were multiple reasons for that particular truth. The first would be the ethereal, otherworldly light source from the top of the hall that drowned the area in an azure flash of cubes. The second was that aforementioned light clamboring up from his arm to surround the entirety of his physique. And finally, the third would be a rather tight, compressed, or otherwise grabby sort of uncomfortable feeling along the posterior end of the aforementioned physique. But fortunately they hadn't managed to nick his wallet. Haha! Eat your heart out, pickpocket. The light consumed Francois as he puffed his chest out, completely confident that the gropist had not gotten what they had come for. >>[Division Gamma] Report. >>[Division Alpha] Some of the machines are not taking recent events too well. The majority are acceptable, however. >>[Division Beta] Slight reduction in efficiency, but all is well. >>[Division Alpha] So. Anyone want to take a guess at exactly what just happened? "Hnng..." Francois groaned, shielding his eyes from the second blast of light today. His head certainly hurt, but not to the same degree as the other individuals. The Frenchman looked around the area, to see nothing but a very bright white. White, and a odd amalmagation of various types of body parts in a whole that was coherently humanoid. He looked down at the sheet of paper still held in his hand: 09. What? Didn't he have 23? >>[Division Alpha] HA. HA. HA. Nevertheless, why were they here? What was the objective of trapping two students in a white box with each other?

BT-dubs, the bit about the engineer was meant to be an unspoken thought but no biggie. BOX 297 Amon and Yuga Amon gave a start as the automaton spoke back, not having expected it to respond to her questions, at least not so...naturally. There seemed to be very little of the stiffness she had grown to know from other robots. She thought for a second that it may be a cyborg, but she couldn't catch even the slightest hint of mana coming from her, a substance present in all naturally born creature. Amon was brought out of her ponderings at the robots mention of a battle to the death. She held back a snarl, though bearing her fangs unconsciously. It wouldn't be the first time she had taken part in blood sport, a surprisingly easy way to get away with murder as it were in the areas where such things were legal. However she found little pleasure in her current situation, both as a show to those she was sure we're watching, and she hadn't even been given an opponent she could dine on should she win. These "civilized" creatures could be so much crueler than anything she had meet in the great forests. Her gaze softened, however, as the creature made no attempts to attack after such words, instead seeming to want to watch videos on those devices most seemed unable to be without on earth, often even the youngest having their head stuck in one.The creatures inviting attitude was important though, showing signs that her magic may indeed be working its way into the creatures...mother box? Amon shook her head, giving up trying to understand the workings of a man-made creature. Nevertheless, she was aware she was at a disadvantage, having been used to stalking prey before, using ambush tactics as her main attack. For now she would play along with the strange creature. Perhaps a chance to for a decisive strike would come, although she was unsure where anything resembling vitals would be on such a thing. Sidiling up to the side the device was on while keeping some distance between the two, Amon peered at the screen quizzically, her orb now floating behind her as it languidly wove between her tails. " I suppose it wouldn't hurt, although this seems a strange time to engage in such frivolities, " changing her gaze to Yuga, "unless you're planning to wait for time to finish me of for you." She said with a chuckle, though realizing that plan may actually work, it had been a few days now since she had last feed, and while she had enough reserves to last a little over a week, she didn't wish to test her endurance. A sudden thought crossed her mind, a sly smirk crossing her face. " To be completely honest you have me at a bit of a disadvantage, seeing as a fight to the death isn't really fair," she said, eyes taking in the completely metal creature, "if one of us can't die." She realized this could lead to dangerous territory, but she had little options for the moment. "I mean something as special as a robot that could be accepted in to this prestigious academy," the last phrase positively dripping venom, hind leg coming up to scratch at the collar around her neck once more, "why I'm sure there's a back up of you somewhere, and probably a backup of that backup," she continued, finishing scratching at the collar and gazing directly into the eyes of Yuga, or at least what passed for her eyes, "or would I be wrong in such an assumption miss.." she trailed, allowing Yuga a chance to speak, sending another small bit of mana through the orb, still weaving around one tail and heading towards the next, trying to mix guilt into the equation, although wether robots feel guilt or even if her magic was having an effect had yet to be determined.

736 Box #09: Francois Jeanotte and 736 736 had scarcely been given time to retrieve his paper before the directive was issued from Ier to incite the vexing event. What he lacked in reflexes, 736 more than made up for in processing speed. His mind swam with questions as the apparently human girl converted the student body to energy and sent them hurdling to their destinations. Is this device the work of a mage or some form of terrestrial science? Is this young lady of human origin? What role does she play in the proceedings here? What had she meant to indicate with the instruction to "prove our worth"? He had only time to realize that he held answers to precisely none of these questions before his eyes snapped open to reveal a blindingly white enclosure containing himself and a heterochromatic human in casual clothing looking quite confused, though not quite as terrified as most beings whom 736 encountered.

That AWFUL Guy and Grey present...
Trapped in Box 09 with Francois and 736 Part 1
Francois looked to the odd amalmagation before him after giving the empty, vibrantly white room a once-over. "Excuse me... sir?" the student said, "Do you, by any chance, know what's supposed to happen now?" He put his hand to his chin in thought, pondering on any contextual clues that might have come up. A thought came to him. "Oh!" he snapped his fingers and then pointed at the experiment on the other side of the room, "That one lady said 'Prove your worth', so that probably has something to do with what needs to be accomplished to get out, yeah? Hmm... Any idea what that might be?" "In light of the fact that our final instructions did indeed seem to indicate some form of trial or challenge, it would be my recomendation to remain stationary until more information is presented" 736 circtuitously answered in a throaty, guttural monotone. "In the event that the current state of affairs continues without development for an excess of time, further action may be pertinent." The hulking golem stopped droning without reaching any particular conclusion. "To answer your question, I can not currently ascertain our objective." Unfortunately his boxmate hadn't found a sufficient idea as to what exactly to do in this situation. Though Francois did note the rather particular, wordsy way the individual before him spoke. It reminded him much of the scientists back at the lab with their increasingly scientific terminology. Looks like it was time to do some thinking himself. "Is it a examination of intelligence and [i]outside the box[i] - eh heh - thinking, I wonder?" Francois mused, taking a more indepth look of their surroundings, "Or perhaps a multiple stage test meant to gauge our capabilities, like an entry test of sorts to cull the incapable? The headmaster strikes me as the variety of individual to do something like that." He walked to the edge of the white box and touched it. It was smooth. Nothing happened. "Could you please check for anything that appears as if it could be a door or seam? That might be useful." "I suppose that that strategy may be feasable" 736 replied. "However, no such features are immediately obvious. Perhaps I could search for some form of structural weakpoint via sound?" "Structural weakpoint..." Francois dug his front foot into the floor as best he could, pivoted, and slammed his fist aganst the wall as hard as he could. The wall was hard, and he probably broke his hand, if that crack was anything to go by. The young man gripped his hand, opening and closing the fingers as he made a sort of loud hissing noise to indicate his pain. He felt a sort of crawling in his skin as the machines got to repairing his bones. "Yeeeeeowwww.... Yeah, yeah. Sound's probably good." The patchwork abomination looked on. "I would recommend actually determining the location, or indeed, existence, of said weakpoints before attempting to exploit them." 736 deadpanned. "Perhaps I may assist in this endevour." The golem reached for an item on his belt. Removing what looked like a dental pick, he began to scrape at the walls of the enclosure. Not a single grain of material was successfully obtained from the wall. "Hmm.." he pondered, "Far too hard to be plastic, yet it seems not to retain heat like silicon. It's obviously not a metal..." 736 turned to his compatriot. "It seems that I am unable to identify the composition of our enclosure. I suppose we should continue with our innitial plan of action." As the Frankensteinian fellow got to work with his scientific analysis of the box's wall, a question began forming in Francois' mind. "...This is unrelated entirely to the predicament at hand, but what are you, exactly?" he asked with a tilt of his head and a finger flex of his healing broken hand upon completion of the process. Unfortunately the results of the examination were inconclusive, but hopefully his curiosity-fuelled inquisition wouldn't be so. "I am a flesh golem" 736 replied "an alchemicaly reanimated amalgamation of deceased organic tissue". A rather abrupt answer that wouldn't really explain or justify his existence to the layman, but 736 was not cognicent of the general populace's knowledge of alchemy (or lack thereof). "And yourself?" the golem continued. "From my, admittedly limited, experience here, I have been given the impression that only those with outstanding capabilities are enlisted. Following that logic, you must posses some form of extraordinary ability, must you not? You certainly recovered from that hand injury rapidly." Francois snapped the fingers of his good hand and pointed at 736. "Frankenstein: The Modern Prometheus," he remarked with a wide smile, giving no explanation to his statement whatsoever. "Anyway, I'm just a normal guy, kind of," Francois answered vaguely with a shrug of his shoulders, "I'm a 100% human from a biological standpoint at least. I'm not partially Lucisean or anything, either. Just French." He tapped his 'broken' hand on the wall a few times, testing its current state. "I, ah, got taken in and pretty much raised by a group scientists - you know what scientists are, yeah? - working for international think tank on Earth, so I guess I'm kind of smart. Maybe." He shrugged sheepishly again. "But anyway, they did some experiments and stuff, and then put a half-a-kazillion nanoscopic robots in my body." "Anyway, enough about us. Got any ideas?" 736 gave a slightly melancholy "I am at a loss. I fear that all we can do now is wait..."

Box 297 Yuga and Amon
The fox girl came over to Yuga as she loaded up a video for them to watch. Yuga found the videos... Humorous. She loaded other similar videos as well in attempt to keep the fox girl's attention but she seemed more interested in Yuga's previous statement about their deathmath. Yuga didn't think much of it: Perhaps it's what the school wants, maybe it is not. They had no specific answers and as far as Yuga knows all they're doing here is waiting for the real challenge. Maybe the witch will drop in monsters which Yuga and this other girl would have to work together to defeat. Or maybe they're suppose to get to know each other's strengths and weaknesses before being forced into gladiatorial combat against the other presumed pairs of students. Yuga simply did not know enough to make any judgement. She didn't dwell on it but she did notice the fox girl's interest in Yuga. "I will not harm you. I have not been given the orders to do you harm, but I do not know what my purpose right here, right now, is either. As for myself, I have been sent here to the Academy as it was more economical to work alongside others in combating the threat of the Black Gale." Yuga said in responds to the fox girl's first comment about finishing her off during her disadvantage as well how Yuga was able to attend the academy. She also loaded up a new video. This one always gave her mixed feelings, but good ones. As the video went on Yuga continued to speak. "It is true that I had spare bodies before to send into the Gale, however the cost of their creation and upkeep were too much for the rate at which they were destroyed. Under normal circumstances the destruction of this body would mean very little to me, however currently it is the only one which I can inhabit. Should it be destroyed, I will be forced into limbo until a new body can be provided, which may take as long as a year if my creators lack the resources. Another video was loaded up at the end of the last one. Simply a music video, and a very old one at that. At least as old as modern standards went, what with it's rather bad speaker feedback. "But if you are concerned about my life, you needn't worry. The cost of this body is approximately 7.7 hundred thousand American dollars. The life of a fellow student such as yourself is much greater." Yuga said with a certain nonchalant air. Like it was as obvious as the sun is bright. Yuga loaded another video on her phone for her and the fox girl to watch. Yuga was quiet as the video was shown before she looked at the girl. "My apologies. Are there any videos in particular you would like to see, miss...?" Yuga realized that she hasn't gotten the girl's name either.

Zarbaha
Zar shook her head, but smiled in amusement, when Raule told her that she got into a fight with the griffon yet again. Then the fourth years and down disappeared in a bright white light, admittedly making Zar squint a bit. Once they were all gone, though, and the fifth years were instructed to play babysitter, she sighed. Still, she obliged and pulled her holopad from one of the many pockets hidden in her outfit, the jewelry around her neck clinking as she did. She was quickly connected and had the boxes scrolling by one by one in one window. However, in a second window, her focus was primarily on a program displaying Khayal as a 3D model. Her goal in her fifth year--aside from surviving and graduating of course--was to upgrade her weapon yet again. So her finger swiped and tapped against the pad, her gold eyes occasionally checking in on the cells that the students were trapped in. Sure enough, many of them were hesitant to engage in anything besides conversation. They'll learn, she thought. Another fifth year sat down beside her and she greeted the cyborg with a polite smile. "Icebreakers, and we're babysitting," she replied. "Most of the students aren't too eager to fight, so it shouldn't be terribly difficult to keep watch." Then a thought occurred to her and she added, "I suppose it's a good way to scout for a partner if you need one." It wasn't uncommon for fifth years to take underclassmen under their wings, but she personally preferred working with someone as an equal if at all. @Exodus @Zombehs

Dagny vs Ark on SUNDAY SUNDAY SUNDAY in box 3546
Dagny blinked against the white, feeling as if she had just been hit by a truck. Which, for Dagny, didn't really mean anything. So she stood up, her blue eyes widened as she looked around the box. "What the fuck?" she muttered, turning to confirm the box was uniform all over. And there was a fellow fourth year, who she recognized to be Ark. Isn't much of an icebreaker if I already know 'im, she thought. "Prove your worth!" Echoed about and, although confused for a moment, Dagny eventually grinned and slammed her fist into the palm of her hand. "Alright, let's go, Scales," she taunted. Ark wasn't phased by the blinding light, but he was still unable to see anything as he was transported into the box. "Drycc." Ark muttered, as he noticed the other 4th year in the box. "Dragon Girl, of course. They won't let me have a single year where I don't have to deal with you." Ark said this with complete distain for Dagny's existance. He grabbed the first two daggers hidden under his coat, before throwing the whole coat to the side. As he did, white scales surfaced from under Dagny's skin. Her gaze flcikered between the two daggers before her smile grew. She wasn't particularly fast, but she stepped forward to close the distance between her and Ark. As she did, she threw her fist up at the draconian's white snout. Ark was much faster than Dagny, though, even with his speed, her fist still grazed the side of his face as he tried to dodge to the right. It hurt, definently, Dagny threw punches harder than most could, but Ark was still able to ignore the pain and bring his left arm up to cut at Dagny's arm, while grabbing it with his right. The dagger was stopped against her scales, and she paid no mind to the claw around her arm. Instead, Dagny used Ark's grip to pull him forward and throw her opposite fist into his gut. The punch took a second to register in Ark's brain, and during this moment, he noticed an opening. Flipping the dagger in his left hand around, he threw a quick punch at Dagny's throat, as well as muttering a simple blinding spell under his breath, focused on his dagger. With both hands occupied, Dagny could only take the hit to her neck. She winced, a puff of smoke escaping from her mouth as she stepped back Ark stumbled backwards until he hit the wall, at which point he succumbed to the punch and dropped to the ground. He didn't black out completely, but he wasn't in a condition to continue fighting. Dagny rubbed at her neck then eyes as the bright light faded. She blinked a few times at the fallen draconian, then looked around the white box. "That all y'got?" she asked the fallen opponent as her scales fell back under her pale skin.
Maxwell Yinyues and Joseph Conrad in box 9510
Maxwell rubbed his eyes, quickly adjusting to the white box he had just been transported to. "Damn crazy Headmaster, what is he doing this time?" Maxwell noticed something out of the corner of his eye, or rather, someone. Acting on reflexes, his hand shot into his bag, grabbing out his pistol, and quickly aiming it at the unknown person. He then proceeded to look at the stranger. "Oh, hello." Joseph quickly reoriented himself to the sudden teleportation spell that was cast upon the students, making out another person in the room... with a firearm pointed directly at him. "Gee, jumping the gun eh? I would greet ya too, but seeing as you have a gun ready to splatter my brains all over this nice, clean, white room, I think I can throw manners out the window." "Name." Maxwell couldn't really remember if he had seen this guy before, but a quick search on the academy's student database should be a good idea. "Put that gun down and I'll think about it mate." Joseph sighed as he stood perfectly still. "Should a name really require thought?" Max kept the gun pointed straight at Joseph. "More thought than you put in aiming a weapon at me, that's for sure." Maxwell chuckled at Joseph's comment. "It's probably best that you do what I said and tell me your name, unless you really like holes in your head." "If I was in fear for my dear little life I would have taken that advice, but usually the person asking for a name usually gives it first, and I don't see much of an exception right now. You give me something, I'll give you something. Fair enough?" Once again, Maxwell chuckled. "Ooh, fun. Sure, my name is Maxwell Yinyues, fourth year." Joseph grinned as he replied to his fellow student. "Was that so hard? Joseph Conrad. Also a fourth year." Max turned the gun towards Joseph, so that he could see it was unloaded, before shoving it back into his bag. As he typed Joseph's name into the computer on his arm, he laughed a bit. "So, how the hell didn't you notice I was holding an unloaded gun?" Maxwell looked over Joseph's info. "Oh, great. Looks like we are in the same class this year, actually. All I suggest is that you don't disobey me if we ever have to work together. I'm probably smarter than you, anyway." "An asshole and a self proclaimed genius. Can you get anymore unbearable?" Joseph merely sighed again. "You know, people get gunned down in a blaze of glory for as much as flashing around a toy gun around trained professionals. I'm not fuckin batman, I'm Joseph Varren. Don't expect me to check every weapon my foes hold to see if they're real or not. Even if you had an unloaded weapon, the intent was real." "Geez, what an attitude. Kid, nah, that doesn't fit. Hmm, JoJo, yea, JoJo, if your going to act like this, then I'm sorry, alright? What else would I do? Just politely ask you your name? The best possible action in this situation was for me to take control of it, well, against a random nobody, at least, but yea, I guess everything depends on the person, right? And please, spare your lectures for someone who needs them. " As Maxwell said this, he paced the wall of the room opposite of Joseph. "So sorry Mr.Sun Tzu, oh most glorious of all. Had I decided to be an indecent human being and gone in for the kill, you would have been dead. For such a tactical genius, you seem anxious to make more enemies for yourself. And this is still school mate. You don't have to think everyone's a threat." "Eh, guess I was over reacting a bit, wasn't I? Oh well. Should probably not do that. Sorry for aiming a gun at you and shit." Admitting he was wrong was something that Maxwell hated to an absurd degree, but he didn't really have anything better to say. He extended out his hand to JoJo. "I actually kind of like your attitude." "You sure don't have some sort of explosive device rigged to your hand or something?" Despite these words, Joseph gave Maxwell a firm handshake. "Nice to meet ya too Maxwell. I'm sure we'll get along just fine." Collabs with Kidd and Nytem4re.

Penelope and Jett's Misadventures in Box 11. "Yes, I'm from Lucius, too. Do you have any powers? I can't recall meeting a Siren before, and I want to know what they can do." In response, Penelope extended her right hand and made a sphere of water about the size of a baseball. "It's a lot harder than I make it look. I can also hypnotize boys, though I've never actually had occasion to use that power." She let the spell dissipate, and the water retreated back into nonexistence. "Mind if I ask you the same question?"

Box 297 Amon and yuga Amon gazed once more at the videos the Yuga seemed to be intent on getting her to watch, mulling over the robots statements, giving a harsh bark of laughter at the last comment, "I suppose if we're expected to kill one another , you may as well call me Amon then, and while I've little to comment on wether that number is your true value, nor wish to haggle of the price of a common student here, I on the other hand," she proclaimed, hind leg once more unconsciously scratching at the collar, "am a bit more disposable then you may think," she said giving a smirk as she stopped scratching at the collar, "something we may have in common." Amon hesitated for a bit, before deciding to add a bit more, "let's just say the collar isn't simply a fashion choice, however dashing I may make it seem." She got up again, shaking a bit to loosen her joints, before pacing the room, instantly regretting taking her attention from the screen as the walls seemed to be closing in on her, sighing at the cliche, trying to seeing if there might be some indication of a way out, before turning her attention back to Yuga, anxiety showing a bit as her thoughts kept coming back to the thought that they were in a box, "as fascinating as your videos are my dear, I find this setting a-a little unappealing, " trying to keep control, honestly it would have been better for her to have kept her attention on the videos, but now she needed to get OUT, "so I propose we focus on finding a new strategy, rather than twiddle our thumbs," she said noticing she was getting a bit snippy, but not really caring. "A-a-as quickly as we can, if you don't mind I don't do well on boxes," a nervous chuckle working its way out. How could she sit so calmly, they had been locked in a white, glowing prison, their was no food, and they had heard nothing since getting in. Her orb was starting to veer at seemingly random trajectories, nearly slamming against Amon a few times. She could hear instincts screaming at hear, she was Trapped, she needed To Get Out, SHE NEEDED TO ESCAPE. It would be obvious that she was deteriorating rather quickly now that she had focused on her confinement. Her memories of her prior confinement rising again, she had told the them everything about her, he'll they had even learned her true name

He glanced away from the screen at the greeting and nodded politely before he replied. “Hello Chris.” Zar seemed to explain things well enough and she’d actually been here so Raule left her to it and refocused his attention to the thousand plus cameras. It didn’t last for long though as her last comment caused him to look back up, and he reclined against the seat before asking, “Planning to abandon me for some cute lower year?” It was playful given that the two of them weren’t officially partners. That aside, it was more often him than her who had spent time with the first and second years making sure they didn’t get themselves killed the previous year. Before she could reply, Raule’s eyes were already back on the screen and he winced as he just caught the decisive end of a battle. He didn’t recognize her opponent, but Dagny was someone who he knew the name of; if only because of the danger she’d pose in a fight even if she was younger. ‘Bad luck kiddo,’ he thought as he spared a glance at the fallen draconic looking student before he shifted cameras again. Even for himself, victory in the situation would have been difficult, probably almost impossible if Dagny decided to transform into her true form. As Zar had pointed out though, it seemed like the majority of students weren’t that hot-blooded and seemed reluctant to simply come to blows. Bit boring for those that had the job of monitoring the situation, but also good as it meant there was little to do. For Raule, he thought that it was a fairly good sign. While being decisive was no doubt needed to survive, recklessness and a lack of thinking would get the prospective students killed faster than any indecision. @Kidd @Exodus

Box 297 Yuga and Amon
It was becoming obvious to Yuga that the fox girl Amon had no real interest in the videos. Instead she started to pace around with worry in her voice. She was getting more and more uncomfortable about their situation which Yuga couldn't quite understand. She could understand Amon's worry about being trapped, but they were not. The teachers simply have them sealed within and are holding them until further orders could be given. Granted, it would have been nice to have access to more amenities, but surely there was a limit to how much magic could create out of thin air. But regardless of their reasons Amon was still getting jittery at the fact she was being trapped and Yuga figured that it was time to bring this charade to a close. "Than you should destroy me." Yuga began to remove various small gadgets from herself, such as her phone and some of her Memory Banks. The only ones she kept was the blank one and that was after she copied the general information off of her other two Memory banks so that she wasn't completely useless. She even put her belongings into a small folding box, neatly sealing it. Once she had packed away her belongings she walked up to Amon. "This room is constructed with magic forces that likely take into account whatever destructive powers we could have possessed. If I am correct in thinking that the teachers wanted us to battle each other, than they will only release us when one stands as the victor. At the very least, the near physical death of one of their students would force them to intervene and release us... And even if they do not, as I've said, this body is worth less than your life. I cannot self-terminate, but destroy me and they will have no more reason to keep you here." Yuga than spread her arms out wide to give Amon a clear angel to attack. Yuga's current body wasn't made for combat but it is very durable, so it was going to take Amon a few tries to actually damage her. Hopefully Amon has some sort of weapon to use, otherwise they're going to have to be very create on how Yuga was suppose to inadvertently destroy herself.

Rei Maven & Varren Yinyues Box 23
"Ku fu fu fu fu..." At that moment Varren would feel something pull him to the ground. Like it was some sort of harem anime he found himself in a compromising position with Rei on the ground. One of Varren's knee was planted firmly against her third leg, and he could even feel the throbbing. The only thing that kept his face from landing in Rei's pillows were the fact that he had braced his hands firmly against Rei's chest. Or at least, Rei made him do that. Rei put her hands on top of Varren's own to make sure he couldn't just slip out. She gave him a look filled with desire. "Now isn't that a bit rude, saying I have a triple-quadruple chin... Aren't you going to apologize for that?" Reis arms snaked around Varren's with fluid flexibility, reaching up to his shoulders and pulling his face into her chest. She laced her fingers together behind Varren's back, locking herself in position. She smothered him in her chest, leaving only enough air for him to grasp. Using her magic Rei made both herself and Varren invisible to outsiders. She wanted to have some privacy to get to know her playmate. Very thoroughly. "My name is Rei Maven. And who's on the menu today?" Rei whispered into Varren's ear as she lifted his head up to hear his name.
