Eden was happily playing tag with Jenni, deftly avoiding all her moves. Suddenly, he saw a splash on the horizon; another person who looked to be 18-or-20 years old now, sinking into the ocean. Breaking his current dash, Eden ran towards the sea, then transformed into a Dolphin, before lifting Kuro up with his body, out of the water.

Patel counterattacked with more tentacles, deliberately setting them on fire with its speed now, and targeting the ship.

"Oh, my fire." Alto said. A large geyser of water had splashed over the forest putting some of the fire out, but luckily the fire had spread deeper into the forest and some of it was still going. He headed over to a nearby fallen branch which was still on fire, and grabbed some more nearby fallen bruning branches to add to the fire.

A few minutes later he had his potatoes roasting in the fire. Suddenly, he heard something fall behind him. He looked up to see Sefia had come back.

"Where's Ian?" She said, seething with cold fury, "I need to kill him." He was just wearing casual clothes now, a plain brown jacket with the sleeves rolled up, plain black shirt and blue jeans.

"Hey wait a minute," Alto said, "What happened to your robot arm?"

She looked down at where her robot arm should be, it was normal. She swung it around a few times experimentally.

"It's my normal arm..." she said.

That confirmed some of Alto's suspicions. He sighed a little, and checked back on his sweet potatoes. He picked one up out of the fire, and peeled some of the skin off. Sure enough, perfectly cooked. He bit into it, perfect temperature for eating.

"Yeah, I thought so." Alto said, "Looks like this island's a meta paradise or something."

"Wait, what do you mean?" Sefia said, still confused.

"I mean, anything we want to happen will happen here." He said, "Probably within limits, but you get the picture."

The realization dawned on her, as Alto kept on eating his sweet potato.

"Then that means, I could do this..." She said. She concentrated hard, and far, far above the island, the THOR sattelite materialized. It had a target, and it launched a payload. Several tons of solid tungsten was now heading straight for Ian's ship.

Light was having fun shooting a gun for once, at least until she noticed the newcomers aboard the ship as well as the flaming tentacles. Light didn't recognize the first person, but looking up to where Ian was fighting, she could make out his opponent's face.

"Hey, isn't that the girl who stuck me in a vacuum? Dunno why shes in my dream, but hey, its a dream, and I can get some revenge!" Light said, throwing down her gun, rummaging through her pocket space, and pulling out a large black cartoony looking bomb with the words "Big Bad Boom" in red letters on it, the fuse already lit. It should be noted that the bomb was just about as big as Light herself, and looking fairly unstable with a lit fuse.

"Everyone ready for a big boom? I know I am!" Light said with glee as she started to run after the pair who had boarded the boat, waving the giant bomb around threateningly. Course she'd also probably throw it at the giant squid if that annoyed Light more than Ann and Camile.

Aya let out a quiet sigh of relief when it turned out it really was Jackson she'd talked to. She raised an eyebrow in concern and looked from Mu to Nate when the younger boy asked to kill the other. Ah. This was why people didn't like Mu. She turned back to Jackson when he asked where the third brother(?) was.

"Kuro's the one with the power to move around on the other side, right?" she asked "I can take you to–" her offer was cut off when suddenly a human skeleton landed at her feet. An actual skeleton. If that wasn't bad enough, it then started moving. Aya did what any rational person would do, and freaked out.

She let out a strangled yelp and stumbled backwards, knocking into Nate. The skeleton the proceeded to look at her with its empty eye sockets and wave. Aya wasted no time in drawing back her foot and punting its skull. It flew off of its spine, ricochetting off of Mu's prison and flying away over their heads. The body was still waving.

The moment Eli felt something going on with his pants Eli erupted from the waist down. There  was a little annoyance and for Eli he had been very easy going. How ever there was a line that had been crossed, one that requires swift and decisive action.

Jim Harper could see how friend for more than 20 years getting that rise in anger, the rise that normally meant something very bad for more than one person. Until Eli could do it himself, this is where he needed to be managed. There were better ways to do it, but for times sake and the fact that he was one of the few people that could get away with it Jim Harper tackled Eli hard.

On the ground, Rolling in the sands they both went. Neither one of them would hit the other, just the same as they wrestled, roll and threw one another with the intent of hurting each other. After what seemed like a small forever but was in truth just a few minutes. When the time was right Jim took off running away from Elijah Craig.

As Eli started to gain ground Jim slowed down, it didn't help that something caught Eli's eye. When Eli took his eye off the prize he ended up being slammed down hard. "You done yet EC!?" Jim asked him rather loudly, maybe even a little loudly.

"Yeah, I'm good. I'm good." Eli extended a hand and asked for help up. After getting up Eli couldn't help but stair at the three people under the palm tree. Two women and a very pretty man. Pointed at the group a few times in a waving motion. "You ever get the feeling... I don't I know... I feel like I know those girls and that but I can't remember anything else. Just that guy bothers me."

"He is way too pretty. Home has gotta be gay to be that pretty." Jim retorted.

"You realize that there are two incredibly attractive girls out there and we're talking about a pretty man. How's that make you feel. "Eli said questioningly as they both staired at group.

"Anything for you baby. Are you gonna go after that kid?" Jim replied.

"Flash motar is already behind you. I learned a new trick that should help me find that fucker... I like that girl and I have no idea why. Don't know that I've ever even talk to her."Eli was mildly confused. "Blow shit up?"

"Never thought I'd see the day when Elijah Craig would fall victim to love at first sight. Fire in the hole?"

I hate you sometimes, and yes. Fire in the hole."Eli said as Jim started shoving sand into a mortar launcher that Eli had use his Pyro powers to make. With a loud bang, the sand had formed into a bomb that went flying high into the air before exploding in a flare. The next few that flew but the waters and sent geysers flying high into the air.

After a few more rounds it was the eyes of Elijah Craig that found Nate holding a e Kuro. I quickly adjusted his Pyro made mortar launcher before shouting words that would the fear of any military man. "DANGER CLOSE!"

Jim Harper like instinct took over dropped more sand in the flash mortar. Launching rounds at a swimming Nate. Geysers jumping around Nate and Kuro, from Eli's and Jim vantage point it at the very least look so bad ass. "SWIM NATE, SWWWWIIIIIM!" Eli shouted as he let loose the largest round so far, one that would send water and sand at least 100 feet tall.

"I don't much care if the kid gets hurt but I do hope you that's not the real Nate. Might hurt my feelings if he gets hurt too badly."

Jim just laughed at Eli.

Upon witnessing the events unfolding right under Camille's little feet, the young critter quickly took notice of the captain's shadow suddenly appearing over her small figure. She turned her head to acknowledge him, blinking a couple of times before giving him an innocent child's smile of happiness. She tried to make it appear as sincere as possible, though the young man's demeanor didn't really appear all that threatening to her, he actually seemed kind of alright. He was hot, obviously, but seemed also kind of douchie. Though there was no time for fantasies, given she'd actually be into the male gender (ooohhhhhhhhhhh mystery), he wanted some silly fight.

"Tee hee, I'll kick your butt pretty boy!"

But before she coudl stand up to have a little fun, and even bigger shade overshadowed the two. It wasn't Patel's tentacles, oh no, it was that massive bomb Light had taken out. Camille turned again and looked down to capture a glimpse of what may have created that thing. It was that cartoon girl, the famous one who invaded Camille's home a while back. She was coming back for more, aye? Normally Camille would be quite freaked out considering how much pain it took to dispose of that fighter, but the mind dampening effects of the dreamworld did have some effect on the little girl's common sense.

"No I wanna kill her instead!"

She insisted to the captain, giving off murder as a casual thing in the process. However before Camille could leap out from the crow's next... BOOM! A giant projectile going at the speed of sound crashed in the middle of the ship's deck, piercing it clean, destroying most of it in the process. The sail's post would inevitably fall, prompting Camille to panic for a second, since well nothing made sense to her at this point. Speedy guy here, bomb cartoon there, random projectile everywhere. But she quickly snapped out of it and let her instinct drive her. She pressed her foot against the falling log of wood as she controlled her fall, allowing her to use the speed of sound to reach Ann's position fairly quickly. Ann would meet up with a panting Camille, the technique had evidently sucked out a lot of stamina from here.

"*pant*Hey Ann... This idea *pantpant* wasn't so hot.. After all! Wheeeewww!"

She'd say as they stood on one half of the boat, a half that could easily capsize, sink or simply break down after the tremendous damage it took from the THOR weapon. Camille held her friend's forearm rather tightly in order to keep her balance but also to drag her in if she were to do an emergency escape. One thing Camille should be praised for would be her altruistic nature toward she holds dear, and in this world Ann was very important to her.

BOOM!

Things began to explode around Nate as he swam to shore. He felt a small shockwave hit and send both Kuro and himself off to the side slightly. A duplicate caught hold of them and dragged them back on track. The other duplicate was reabsorbed to avoid unnecessary casualties. As he and his duplicate swam, for a brief moment Nate flashed back to his time in the military. Under fire and dragging a wounded friend to safety. His heart pounded and he could swear he heard screams but he knew that was impossible.

Still more explosions pounded the water as both Nate's hauled Kuro onto the beach. In less than a heartbeat Nate had locked onto the source of the bombardment, aided by the accompanying laughter of the mortars gunners. In the next heartbeat there was a small army on the beach. A legion. At least thirty duplicates screamed and shot across the beach towards Eli and Jim. The screaming army of clones was an intimidating sight but would probably be somewhat less intimidating considering that they were all wearing swimming trunks.

While the Legions rampaged towards the enemy, intending to bury them up to their necks in the sand...maybe find a toilet and give them a swirly or six, two duplicates stayed with the unconscious Kuro in the surf. They needed to get him out of their if the mortars didn't stop. And they were getting pretty sick of carrying him. "Wake up!" one yelled at Kuro, raising his hand into the air before slapping the brat. The other duplicate caught hold of his arm and told him "Unnecessary man!"

Dolphin!Eden nodded as Chatterbox!Nate petted him on the head, before the shockwave of a mortar attack blew him away from Kuro and the others. Transforming back into a human, the boy, shifting his vocal cords to be louder, roared to where Jaden and Jenni were:

"Guys!" he said, "this ruckus is getting out of hand! We need to get this unconcious person to safety!"

Jake [+]

As Zachary listed off the things around the beach, Jake looked around and mentally checked them all off a list. "Yep, they're all there" Jake confirmed. He wasn't really sure why this was so important to Zachary. Jake hadn't really paid much attention to the surrounding area until just now but Zachary seemed awfully concerned about it.

"This place...there's something wrong. There might be some sort of ability at work." Zach told Jake, seemingly mirroring the suspicions Jake was having about this place.
"Yeah, either that or we're dead" replied Jake with a chuckle. His expression quickly changed though as he actually thought about that. This place was a literal paradise. It had everything they could ever want or need. A shiver ran down the dogs spine and flashes of a memory ran through his mind. Memories of pain and blood. "Oh god" he said, barely louder than a whisper "Are we dead?"

"Neat trick" Nate told Damien as the other man absorbed the energy holding Cer to the tree "Y'know I once knew a guy who could absorb energy just like that. Nice guy that Aleksander...Shame I had to kill him. He made great borscht"
"Hey!" came a bark from the other duplicate nearby, snapping the first from his reverie "Stop talking! Classified, remember?"
The chatterbox duplicate straightened and looked at Cer and Damien awkwardly "Oh, right...Forget I said anything" He paused only for a second before saying to Cer "So about that double date..."
The other duplicate meanwhile had turned his attention away from his motormouth brother just in time to see Kuro blast off of the beach and hurtle towards the sea. As the brat landed with a splash, Nate sighed and turned to the other duplicate "Come on. We better rescue the brat"

The other one

When Mu asked if he could kill him, Nate only laughed and told him "You have issues." He was about to poke the bear some more when there was suddenly a skeleton crash landing at Aya's feet. This was even funnier to him than Mu in a bubble and he laughed some more. Aya clearly didn't feel the same way about it and backed up into him. He instinctively put his hands to her shoulders to reassure her but she obviously didn't need it as she stepped forward again and kicked the skeletons head clean off it's shoulders and into the water. "Damn girl, you should play for the NFL" he told her as something else smashed into the water. Kuro apparently.

It was then that the two duplicates appeared beside him. "Hey" one told him "Kuro's an adult. Physically anyway. Pranked Opie then derped himself into the ocean. Gotta go play hero." It was an abridged version of what had happened but Nate knew not to ask questions. He'd find out whatever he had missed when the duplicates were reabsorbed. Instead he doffed an imaginary hat at Cer before all three ran off towards the ocean to rescue Kuro.
"Keep him there" one of the duplicates told Jackson before shaking Mu's energy bubble prison again then following the other Legions.

Nate fully intended to rescue Kuro but the way he went about it would make it seem like he didn't. Living out his Baywatch fantasy, the California boy ran towards the water in slow motion, his duplicates beside him doing the same. All they needed was some bitching music to accompany it and this would be awesome. They were snapped out of their collective fantasy though when some kid ran past them and dived into the water towards Kuro. "Oh...right" said Nate, suddenly picking up speed. All three dived into water behind the kid but lost track of him. They did however find a very helpful dolphin as it pushed Kuro back to the surface. The Nate's made their way to the unconscious adult Kuro. "Thanks" Nate told the dolphin, not entirely sure if he was imagining it "We'll take him from here." He took hold of Kuro then, wrapping his arms around his chest and kicking off back towards the beach.
"You're a cutie" the chatterbox Nate informed the dolphin as he stroked its nose "Who's a cutie? You're a cutie"
"It's not a dog" the other duplicate yelled over his shoulder as he swam off.
Once again feeling awkward, the chatterbox duplicate said "Oh...right" and then followed after the others.

Only when his suspicions where confirmed did he take a moment to glance around at what he'd described. The pier sat out in the water, colorful jetskies bobbing up and down in the surf. A elaborate sandcastle stood next to a multicolored beachball. Am empty smoothie shack stood next to the huts, the machines spinning the drinks in the back.

These things all existed. These things, of course, has always been there. You just had to notice them. At the same time, however, they had just come into existence right at this moment. He was tinkering with something here, but decided to push his luck. "I don't suppose you noticed that dune buggy abandoned over there before?" He said, pointing behind them at an old, beat up dune bugging whose yellow paint job was either faded or flecking off. "Or that this section of beach is made up of special singing sand that sounds like bells when you walk on it." He jumped up and brought his feet down, a bell like ringing echoing down the beach. "Oh look, a whale!" He shouted, and at that moment a whale breached the surface of the ocean. "A white whale." The whale was indeed white as it splashed down and vanished under the waves.

"That's why I couldn't remember seeing the jungle. It wasn't there yet." He muttered. "Nothing here exists until you establish that it does! Either deliberately or unconsciously, this world is shaped by what we decide it is. The beach is just a foundation, everything else is just building on that!"

He hunched down to think, the sand noisily shifting as he did so. He thought about Jake's theory. "Despite your free pass into Heaven, lets labor under the assumption that this is some sort of power we're stuck in. If we're dead, we're dead and we can't do anything about that." Same for the idea that this was all some insane delusion of his. If he was insane there was nothing he could do about it. "If we're alive that means someone put us here for some reason."

Avarice smiled, if this kid wanted to play she was up to the challenge. The air around her hummed eerily and she displaced her energy, down to the atomic level. It was basically teleportation but with a larger margin of error and higher consequences, mainly a horrible painful death. She now stood behind him hand on his neck, grinning like someone gone mad.

"Look let me make you an offer, join me or be absorbed. When I rule the world you'll have whatever you want but I can't guarantee anything if you refuse." She smiled but under the surface there was some annoyance, she hated playing her hand early but she didn't have much of a choice, she couldn't charge in there and she needed to buy time to plan.

Cer watched on anxiously, barely even able to listen to what people were saying to her. She stayed that way for a few moments but hen Kuro went flying and Eli started blowing things up she became annoyed. At heart she and Avarice were the same, they just made different choices. Cer stood and frowned, "Enough is enough." She sighed. Dusting the cobwebs off of her flight abilities she grabbed Kuro, resolving to take him into the jungle until things quieted down. It was a true test of her less used power, dodging fire balls was harder than it looked.

After leaving the beach far behind she basically crash landed in the forest, guard up because this was Kuro and he looked different. She let Kuro lie unconscious on the ground, too pissed to even wake him up or scold him. "Cedric if you were still alive I would slap you, this kid isn't good for anything but trouble."

Isaac walked back onto the beach, parasol on his shoulder, coming back to a scene so far removed from a moment ago. The fire had grown to a good size but it probably wouldn't be safe to be in the forest for too long... There was a pirate ship, a kraken and some other crazy stuff.

Isaac went back to his beach blanket and planted the parasol in the ground, then sat down with a sigh.
"Good enough." He said.
He had reason enough to believe that this was all a dream, and all he had to do was wait for it to end.

Loki sat back, confused, as things quickly devolved into chaos. The Kraken was fighting the ghost pirate ship when something smashed into it. There were things flying everywhere and volleyball was forgotten in the ensuing chaos.

"Um..." Loki said. "Volleyball?"

Jenni who was watching what was going on with Eden the nurse didn’t care much since she was getting quite bored of their little game,”Oh well…that was going nowhere anyway…So Deany what shall we do now?” Jenni said to her brother who did not answer her.”I don’t know but I think it’s time I took over..i want some fun” Dean said a bit serious then starting to sound like a spoiled child,”I want some fun you never let me have any fun and play with the children…” Dean said folding his arms puffing up his cheeks wanting to take over her body.

“No dice Deany like I said before I want the fun and I think it is time for me to take some time off your hands…” Jenni said with a smile now taking a few step the feeling of the sand underneath of her feet felt good to her,”And you know now that I am in here I quite like it…you wouldn’t mind me having some fun with your little friends…” Jenni said now standing still rubbing her feet against the sand.She really knew how to piss off her brother and it was so easy to make her brother angry.

“Why not you never let me play every since were we’re children you always got to play with the children" Dean now sounding childish stomping his feet in the air,”Wait I got a idea how about we play a game of our own..if I win I get control of MY body and if I lose then you get control of OUR body” Dean said now getting the interest of her sister’s morbid curiosity,Dean could trick her with one of her favorite games and that was having a psychokinetic battle.He had a plan to trick or confuse her either way he could win but he needed to win this game,”So do you want to play sister?” Dean asked his sister now confident that he could win the game.

Jenni thought for a few moments putting her hand on her chin thinking loudly,”Sure I think I can beat you no problem like I said before I know what you are thinking so I know what you will do so I win right away” Jenni said feeling confident and started to get cocky which Dean could use to his own advantage.’How do you want to start this?Do you want me to start this?” Jenni asked her brother but before he could answer she snapped her fingers on if she can start first.Without notice or letting Dean get ready Jenni quickly sat down in the sand crossing her legs attacking Dean with a psychic blast.

Dean blocked off the blast with a psychic shield to bounce the blat off,Dean counter attacked Jenni but using his powers to speed up and over to them throwing a punch that connected to her nose,Blood and snot came flying out with Jenni backing up holding her broken nose.She was not surprised in fact she predicted this giving Dean a kick in the chest as a counter measure licking the blood coming down form her nose into her mouth tasting the blood.

"You pissed them off nicely." Jim Harper said watching north of thrity Nates running towards them. "This kinda remind you of Kandahar?" Jim said way to calm for his own good. Even going so far as to bite in an apple.

"A little bit, I'm willing to bet the women here are a lot prettier. Wanna see a magic trick." Eli noting only had a minute or so left before the Legion got them."Stand away from me now."

What was once the flash mortar, was now a ball of firy spikes. With his hands in his pockets Eli sent ball forth into the Legion. As it came just north of the center it shot out flaming spikes. There targets wasn't the copies of Nate but rather the ground. Elijah had no intent of harming anyone just to make them running look as cool as possible and it did just that as ground exploded in a wonderful fashion.

He noted the flying Cer that now held Kuro, she looked different this time. Back to her spinster ways it seemed. Not a happy look in her face either it seemed, was she ever happy? Could that woman just be happy once in a while?

Eli had forgotten one thing id his quest to make a Michele Bay movie scene. He had actively pissed the legion off. With them less than hundred yards away. Eli turned to his dearest friend and spoke with the best Forest Gump impression he could muster. "Jan aye I'm nut a smmmart MA un" his voice return normal, "but I think we need to run away."

Jim Harper didn't respond, he just ran and Eli did like wise only a step or two behind. Just before hitting full speed Eli snapped his fingers towards the ground hoping the resulting explosions would buy them a little more time.

Zachery stared over at the mock battle

Jake watched as Zachary pointed out some more things without even looking. He grew more and more uncomfortable with each and every object pointed out to him. The sand in particular seemed to bother the dog now. He lifted up a paw and slammed it down into the golden sand, visibly recoiling from the ringing sound it made. Why was he so bothered by this sound? Jake couldn't remember. He just knew he didn't like it and growled slightly at the ground beneath him, stopping suddenly when he remembered it wasn't alive.

When Zachary reiterated his thought that someone was using a meta ability to create this place, Jake breathed a sigh of relief. He wasn't certain that was what was happening here but it was a lot easier to stomach than the thought of being dead. After dropping the bottle of sun block onto the sand, he turned to Zachary and asked "Why would anyone want to do that? I mean this place is great and all but why include a bunch of idiots like those clowns over there in your paradise?" He turned then to indicate a bunch of people further along the beach that were getting up to all kinds of shenanigans.

Sand flying, explosions everywhere. The flashbacks didn't stop for many of the Legions. Of course some were simply flashing back to watching Saving Private Ryan but they did love the opportunity to recreate one of the greatest scenes in that movie. But again, they would have liked it more if they weren't wearing these blasted swimming trunks. At that thought, several of the spawned duplicates found that they were now wearing their Legion gear. Why had they not noticed this before? Only one stopped to question it while the others barrelled on towards the fleeing Eli and Jim, growing closer and closer. "What the hell?" he asked no one in particular as he looked himself up and down.

The others continued on without him, gaining ground on their targets and yelling so loud that all they could hear was theirselves. It was altogether quite a glorious scene, at least in the eyes of Legion. He'd have to thank Eli and his buddy for this after he drowned them both in a toilet bowl.
"You can run but you can't hide, Opie" bellowed the Legion in front as he chased Eli.

"I can think of a few reasons." He said, watching the insanity going on down the beach with a mixture of disbelief and quiet wonder. Was that I pirate ship? "This could be someones idea of a good time, but if that were the case you'd think we'd remember being brought into it. Someone might be trying to protect us from something. This might be meant to keep us complacent while something happens to us in the 'real world.' Like..." He felt another one of those headaches come on as a brief flash of red and pain fluttered through his head. "Urgh, like, perhaps we were in an accident and are in recovery somewhere. I've heard of a hospital in New York that uses a meta to create shared dream states between comatose patients and their doctors. Or we could be on the move, being transported from one place to another. Worst case scenario, someone might being doing something to our bodies. Oh, but there are so many. There are so many people here, how would you even get all these people? We don't even know if all of them were real."

He knew at least one other person here was from real life, Max. Jake was able to add the huts to the beach, so that meant he was real as well. "I don't think we should go around telling everyone that they might be stuck in the Matrix, you know? It could catch the attention of whoever put us here, but I'm going to at least try and warn my friend. You have anyone you want to tell? We could take that." He says, pointing to the buggy. "The keys are in the ignition, and it's super fast."

"Hey!" shouted Eden, transformed back into a human, at Cer, "I just rescued that guy!" And with that, he began running towards the jungle, surprisingly fast for someone who was using their body - or a computer stimulation of a body - for the first time. Once he reached Cer's position, he would begin panting, then place his hand on a nearby tree, absorbing the plant matter into himself; turning it into slurry that was sucked up into his body.

Then, he went on the empty space left by the tree...and transformed into one himself, a majestic apple tree out of place in the (partly smoking) tropical jungle, its branches weighed down with dozens of fruit. The boy then said telpathically:

<Pick one and feed it to the man over there; that ought to heal his body.>

Cer stared at the boy her eyes emotionless, she didn't care much for Kuro's well being at this point. She watched as the boy turned into the tree, again without emotion, to be fair she was very fed up. For a while she ignored it but something gave her the feeling that if she didn't do something that kid would bother her again.

"I don't need your dumb fruit powers, I could heal him if I wanted to but I don't. He doesn't deserve it and he wouldn't die anyway, they won't let him because they'd lose the other two as well." She was more than a bit snappy but her resolve weakened and she decided to heal him, she did it herself though, just out of spite.

If a tree can convey sadness and dismay, Eden did that by having his branches fall lower than usual, before turning away from Cer.

<I was just trying to help>, he said sullenly.

"If you are looking for sympathy you're not going to get much from me." She growled before softening a little and healing Kuro with a tap to the forehead, before returning to the issue she had been mulling over since she met this kid. He was responding independantly from the system so he wasn't computer generated but she could tell somthing was off, he wasn't comepletely real, it put her even more on edge. "Whenever you feel like not being a tree we can talk about who you really are."

Eden, in response, transformed back into a human, making sure to include his swim trunks in the transformation. He then said:

"My name is Eden, Eden McFadden. I am the son of Jaden McFadden and..." he shuddered, a sense of...hatred and fear overcoming him, "...Isabella Lancaster, with a Surrogate Mother, Cindy Wade." His mind was struck by needles of pain, as if there was a prickly wall of sharp bristles blocking him from...something." He then stared at her eyes.

"No...No...I shouldn't be out of the womb yet; why am I here?..."

Cer looked at him curiously before chuckling darkly, "That's a damn good question, I can't answer it though. Keep asking yourself those questions and you'll find a world of trouble." She stood and scanned the sky lines for the destruction at the beach, worried it would come find them.

"I don't want trouble..." spoke Eden, "but at the same time..." he inhaled and exhaled deeply, still in indecision. "I'm curious. But if you don't want me bothering you, then I won't. I'll go back to my father." Then, a thought came to him. "Father...he has this strange urge to eat people, doesn't he? Can you heal him of that, too?"

Cer was about to tell him to do whatever he wanted because she didn't care and apologize for her behavior in the most indirect and confusing way possible because any other way would really be admitting that she was wrong. However she was distracted by the boy's request, "I could try but the brain is a tricky thing, one synapse off and the repurcussions could be devastating." She shrugged, "I'd need his explicit permission and even then that kind of work makes me uncomfortable."

"Understood," spoke Eden, carrying Kuro over his shoulder with surprising strength. "Why don't we go over there and get his permission, then?"

Anyone he wanted to tell? It didn't take Jake very long to run through the list of people he might want to inform. The list of people he actually gave a crap about in this world or any other was a short one indeed. First and foremost were his family. Or at least the family he had back when he was a man. But he had a feeling they wouldn't be here. He hoped they weren't. He didn't want them wrapped up in the weirdness that was his life.

Then there were a few other people who had been nice to Jake since his transformation. He thought about the woman who took him in for a brief period of time after his transformation. She had a kind heart. She gave a sad dog a place to sleep and a good meal, even though she didn't know him. Her kids were nice too, even if the teenager was a bit obnoxious. But again, he hoped they weren't here. They hadn't exactly parted on the best of terms. Jake had let his temper get the better of him when the woman's boyfriend came around. He was a jerk and didn't deserve her or her family. Jake had let him know this. Of course he came out looking like a savage animal and scared everyone he was trying to protect. He had run away after that, even though the youngest boy had begged him not to go. Just the memory of that boys face broke Jake's heart every time he thought of it.

But there was someone else Jake thought about. Someone who Jake actually hoped was here, just so he could see a friendly face. "There's a girl..." Jake told Zachary "Her name's...Aya...She's always been nice to me." He let out a sigh and added "If anyone I know found themselves wrapped up in this mess it'd be her...Girl has a way of attracting trouble."

Eli turned to Jim while running as they heard Legion speak in one voice. "I find that so creepy when they do that." Eli turned his back and shouted "You'll never catch me Copper, nah!" Eli said in a mock Chicago gangster like voice.

"Not the time for jokes E.C. fix this now!" Jim said with a hint of frustration.

"I got this!" Eli sent an explosion to the ground, causing an eruption of sand to fly high. Covered by the sand flying, Eli slapped Jim on the chest to get his attention, and pointed into the jungle.

Together they ran as hard as they could into the jungle after they waited till they were fully covered by the jungle to make a move and go into hiding. Step after step they were slowed till Eli made his move, he spotted a tree perfect for climbing however the first branch was too high for a single person to reach. Eli sprinted forward and then crouched down two one knee, Jim Harper without a moments thought used the lower Eli to elevate himself to rather high slung branch. With Jim hanging from the branch, Eli used Jim's body to climb up into the tree. They helped each other climb the tree and gain as much ground vertically.

They when got what they thought was a safe distance both of them stopped, as they sat in the tree both of them couldn't help but smile, they both wanted to laugh. Both of them wanted laugh in such a bad way, the sheer insanity of the situation was hitting both of them. This had to be a joke. A dead man was sitting in a tree with a guy who controlled fire, being chanced by a guy who can make hundreds of copies of himself. The sight was just short of a 'two jews walk into a bar.'
