Camille and Aya - Awakening

((Collab between some Frog and some Ramen))

Cannons were shot, pirates shouted ARG and a Squid cursed them all with its obnoxious pink tentacles. It was literal chaos, and the two young girls stranded on the shattered ship were as disoriented as the bony crew that had confronted them. As Camille prepared their desperate escape with obligatory style, her body went limp as she lost her balance. She fell in face first on the wooden floor of the ship's bridge, her vision being consequently put into darkness. A darkness that wouldn't last for she would open her eyes almost immediately after the shock, pulling the upper part of her body upwards as a reflex, nasty whiplash ensuing.

It felt as if she had one of those dreams where it would start off with her falling into the abyss and waking up right after, but she could actually remember most of it. Shocked by where she had ended up, she struggled like any normal person would, but she didn't have to for very long as her aging abilities reacted chaotically to her stress. All the machinery and liquid around her quickly disintegrated themselves after being aged far being their life expectancy. She arose, wearing a strange set of clothes, fitting her quite well without actually being spandex. Though free, her body felt tired and she was more than just confused, everything felt so blurry both in terms of her vision but also her memories. The name "Ann" running rampant in her mind despite Camille's inability to remember that person. She could barely stand

Near the gap of emptiness she had crated upon destroying her personal tube, she noticed a familiar face attempting to break out just as Camille did. She seemed just as confused, but with a lot more visible fear on her face than Camille. The little girl's small body slowly tried to stand itself up in order to approach the panicked Aya. Stumbling a couple of times, she found the strength to finally solicit her attention.

"... Who are you?"

She inquired, with a weak and raspy voice. Her throat and lungs weren't too swell either, making it hard for her to formulate vocal responses.

Aya jumped when the question cut through her panic. Still shaking, she looked up to see a small girl, dripping wet and wearing some odd black and green uniform.

"Camille," she gasped out, her voice a small, frail thing. What was she doing here? What was Aya doing here, for that matter? Finally coming back to her sences, her eyes darted around trying to make sense of everything. Nothing looked familiar (except for the French girl standing before her) and she realized she was in the same weird outfit. "I… where are we? What happened?" There'd been a beach and everything had been fine… but before that everything was pain, and screams, and blood. So much blood. She was horrified with herself when she wondered if maybe that's what she needed to calm down right now – to see blood leak from a body. She shut her eyes against Sebastian's memories, desperate for some form of focus.

As the asian looking female responded with a question of her own, Camille couldn't help but ask herself the same question. Until now she was too disoriented to think things through and only latched on to what seemed familiar, but now uneasiness took over. She didn't know if she was trapped by the enemy, if she had been used against her own comrades, everything felt as if she was still in a nightmare. Plus the decor reminded her of late night sci-fi horror. With uneasiness came anger, and Camille wasn't one to take a step back and think.

"I do-... I asked you a question." she replied with hostility, setting her hand on the edge of Aya's tube before applying her barely controlled aging ability on the machinery. A small portion simply vanished. "Who are you?"

Aya flinched away as Camille put her powers on display. When the younger (older?) girl was mad, she was like a child throwing a tantrum, wild until she got what she wanted. At least, that's what Sebastian had thought of her. "Lynn," she practically shouted as her tube continued to melt away. That odd fluid was leaking down the side as it crumbled. Why on earth had Aya just given her middle name? The last time she'd done that, it hadn't exactly helped her. She knew why she'd done it though – she didn't want Camille, or anyone in the Underground Movement to know her. Not after the carnage they'd wrought at the Reformist base. Lynn was what Sebastian had called her though. Would he have mentioned her to anyone aside from Cassandra? Well, it was too late now.

"My name's Lynn," she said, voice slowly growing steadier. Aya was still shaking and in too much pain, but navigating this was something to concentrate on, at least. She wanted to shoot herself when she'd realized she'd said Camille's name already when she shouldn't have even known, but the French girl didn't seem to have noticed. "I'm sorry. Do you have any idea what's going on?"

"Lynn..." Camille's mind became steadier as her new "friend's" voice did, finally recalling the recent events clearly. Sebastian and his sidekick were never around Camille due to tensions between the two groups in the Movement, but during the invasion she clearly remembered Sebby addressing her as Lynn. It became more than just clear, it felt like it was just a few hours ago. "... I remember you. You were...". Camille tried to steady her balance as her weak body remained frail after the prolonged exposure to the tube. She ended up slipping and falling down to her knees, barely catching the remains of the shattered tube she had broken to keep herself from hitting her face, again. It didn't stop her from finishing her sentence, though.

"Mine." she finished, as bluntly as possible. Camille remembered having her along with other individuals, including a dog, in the palm of her hand at the end of the invasion. She kept a cold stare at Aya's eyes, unsure as to what she should do, but as of now she wasn't showing any particular ambition to cooperate with Aya. That would probably be because she had absolutely no idea where she was and could only assume her supposed enemies had tricked her.

As the fluid continued to trickle out of the tube, Aya no longer had anything to help support her. Unable to hold herself up in the empty tank, she pressed her back against the far side and let herself sink down, taking their weight off of her legs. She felt an uncharacteristic flash of anger shoot through her at Camille's words. Aya wasn't hers. As if this brat would ever own her. Aya grit her teeth and squeezed her eyes shut again against Sebastian. Every second was a rush of his gruesome memories, warring with her own, and it was too difficult to tell them apart. She didn't have enough energy to keep her feer and adrenaline up. Opening her eyes, she looked at Camille through the glass. The girl's power had weakened it, making it aged and frail, and maybe thin enough to break, even in Aya's state.

"I need to get out," she murmured. That was the only warning she gave before lifting her foot and slamming it with whatever strength she had left against the glass. Cracks blossomed from the impact, and she scrunched her eyebrows before doing it again. The glass shattered and the entire side of the tube fell away, shards trickling on the floor, mixing with the liquid. Aya rested her head back against the other side and closed her eyes again. Goodness, she was tired.

While Aya have Camille the silent treatment for a short period of time, the angered child had time to cool down a bit, especially as she noticed how bad her condition seemed to be right now. She could be killed by pretty much any low meta at this point. She sighed, barely reacting to the breaking tube she had infected with her powers in the first place. Camille gathered the courage to at least stand up once more and attempt to keep herself steady and avoid another fall.

"Debout..." she ordered the girl shed assumed to be a reformist. She seemed less hostile and a little more anxious than her previous tantrum, but nonetheless she menacing aura she shrouded herself with had not left as of yet.

Aya didn't react when Camille gave her a command. She just kept her eyes closed, feeling sleep so near. She just wanted to sleep. Her mind was overwhelmed with the soul of another, she ached everywhere, and she was so tired.

"<I don't speak French,>" she mumbled in Japanese. It was oddly petty of Aya. She wasn't a petty person. Especially when faced someone who was capable of such destructive things, but maybe this attitude was all Sebastian. She was too tired to fight him off at the moment. A dull pain pulsed through her foot, and she smelled the metallic tinge of blood lacing the air. It seemed she'd cut her foot on the glass when she'd broken free. That would likely be a problem.

Camille's left eye twitched in disbelief, followed by a bludge of veins forming on the center of her forehead. She didn't like being made fun of, it made her feel inferior and could barely cope with the amount of frustration in burdened her with. Her right hand was shaking, she wanted to kill Aya just for that, for such petty reasons. Aya was right to believe Camille was like a child throwing a tantrum, as the little girl could easily perform an action she'd uickly regret later on. But her sudden rise in rage was stomped by the captivating presence of blood she had caught in the corner of her eye. Aya was bleeding, eaning she'd probably be screwed for future navigation.

Now in one hand Camille wanted to strangle Aya, but on the other hand, if she wanted to get out she'd likely need support. That and deep down she'd be scared to be left alone in this creepy place she was more than just lost in.

"Tch. Well done, dumbo!" she kicked away most of the scattered glass around her that seemingly floated over the spreaded liquid on the floor before approaching Aya's damaged foot. "To think you beat Sebastian... He may have sucked but c'mon..." she claimed out of the blue as she was speaking her mind out. Camille wasn't a medic, but she had ways to improvise support at times. She slowly approached her hand toward Aya's foot, not even anticipating the possibility that she'd get burned for acting with such haste. Although not gently, she placed her hand with care on the wounded foot, expecting a magical burst of genius from that point forward.

Aya jumped when she suddenly felt Camille grab her foot, giving an involuntary kick. She didn't actually hit the other girl, but a flash of fear shot through her. She remembered what Camille had done at the base. Heck, even what she'd done to the tube not three minutes ago. But then her heart rate started to slow and she realized that Camille hadn't actually done anything to her foot. It was still in one piece, if a bit cut-up.

"Sorry," she said meekly. Camille had the power to heal things, too. Aya had forgotten that, though maybe that was understandable when it was the girl's other powers that were so memorable. Scrunching her face at the pain, she bent her knee so her foot was closer to her face. She looked at the cuts and gave a small sigh. It wasn't the worst injury she'd ever had, but it certainly wasn't helping anything. She began the process of picking out shard after shard of glass, wincing at the pain. After a moment, Aya looked at her fingers, stained with her own blood. Then she thrust her hand into the shallow puddle of liquid she was still sitting in, waving her hand around so the blood fell away.

"So…" she started, awkward. "I take it you don't know where we are either?" Aya doubted this was the Movement's work. Sebastian didn't know anything about this place, or the machinery. Now that she was back to her senses again, concern grew in her. If this wasn't the Movement, then what was it? And where were the others? She chewed at the inside of her lip as she worried over Jake and Ann, and all the others. The whole time, she continued picking glass out of her foot.

Camille had approached the foot to examine it before working her magic, but she'd be greeted with a kick across the cheek. She froze for a second, her patience nearing its already short limit. Despite the apology, she gave Aya a murderous glare, manifesting a clear killing intent if any new false movement were to be made. But before Camille could spew out another threatening response similar to what she had said the entire time, she remembered why she was helping Lynn in the first place. Her hand free of blood rubbed her damaged cheek before forcing it back on Aya's damaged member.

"Non, we're probably trapped by some pervert or something." she randomly responded as she started to focus on the foot once more. The shards were nearly all gone and thus she could work her abilities. First off, aging. As dangerous as that ability could be, if controlled it could bring miracles. She had aged her foot for a period of approximately 20 hours. The effects of coagulation were accelerated to the point of forming massive crusts where the large cuts were made. All the blood was dry and the foot was slightly red from inflamation. There came her second ability, rejuvenation, which set Aya's body in a "prime" state. Her immune system was boosted and her body wouldn't be as tired.

As a result, Camille's body felt numb as she fell once more on her knees, barely able to stand. "Jeez... You suck like all of them..." she said, more or less satisfied of her work but quickly regretting the toll it would have on her body.

Well now Aya really felt bad for kicking Camille in the face. She sighed as relief surged through her, and stretched her arms up above her head. She shot Camille a bashful look.

"…Sorry," she said again. Pushing herself up, she tested her foot out. It was still sore, and she'd probably wouldn't be making any quick getaways, but it was better than nothing. Aya awkwardly jumped out of the tube, over the shards of glass that still littered the ground. Turning, she looked back down at Camille. The girl was dangerous, no doubt about that… but she had also just healed her at the sake of her own energy. And Aya really didn't want to be alone here. So she leaned down a bit and stuck out her hand, a silent offer to pull the Underground member to her feet.

This was the second time she was healing an enemy, and for petty reasons. If Isabella were to know about this, she'd get yelled at, and Camille hated being scolded, whether it was by her colleagues or even her enemies. At least she wouldn't be alone on this for now. When Aya presented her hand to help the little girl, Camille felt weak. She hated that feeling just as much as being yelled at. Her ego took a critical hit, but in exchange Aya owed her one, so she could live with this for now. She grabbed her newly made friend's hand and pulled herself up, only to sit her little bum back on another, unopened tube.

"Okay.. Lynn. Erm.. Thanks?" it pained her to say it, but she did. She thanked someone who was supposed to be her enemy. "Now, you owe me one answer... What happened to Sebastian?" she asked, dead serious about it. It wasn't that she cared about Sebastian, if anything she would have eventually tried to kill him herself, but she wanted to know what Aya had done to render him like how he was back there.

Aya was tempted to reply that the last thing she remembered was Camille kidnapping her and her friends after helping to commit mass murder, and so she didn't actually owe her anything. But then she asked about Sebastian and Aya felt her heart skip a beat. Her mind spun with possible answers, most of them useless. She'd been at the Reformist base, so there'd be no way Camille would buy that she wasn't a Meta and had no clue what'd happened. But then she had another idea.

"That blonde girl, Ann? Do you remember her?" she asked, starting the lie with surprising ease. She vaguely remembered how Camille had been taken aback by the specter. "Her sister's Ariadne. They share a body, and sometimes one of them is a ghost." Wait a second, what was she doing? Aya was a terrible liar. And yet she continued on, as though it were the simplest thing in the world. "It's one of her powers," she said. "Pulling someone out of their body, I mean. I don't know what happened after that." She didn't want Camille knowing her name, her power, and certainly not that she'd ripped Sebastian's soul to pieces and absorbed part of it.

"Ann..." she mumbled, processing the name that was tormenting her mind before she got busy with Aya. So that name running freely in her mind belonged to that blonde girl back then. What Aya said made sense, Ann did have a strange manifestation that could talk while her physical body acted independently. Her lies made sense, and Camille didn't have the wit or maturity to distinguish blatant lies, however when it came to powers and finding creative ways to kill, she was one of the best. She was about to accept that idea until...

Reaching into her pocket, she hoped to find her cell phone. Their belongings were (I think?) left intact, though without any possibilities of obtaining wifi or anything. She did not care about that for now, she simply wanted the picture she had taken. The one were she had captured Sebastian's body without a scratch left on the floor, right next to him, Lynn just as she awoke. Camille frowned, connecting the dots together as if she was analyzing a battlefield.

"She has a scary power... So why did she use it on you...? Unless Sebastian attacked you... Hmmm... He did a sloppy job, his hit didn't even burn you. Tch... Il est nul." she said, exposing what she thought of the picture before her. "So, is he dead?" she asked almost casually.

Sloppy? He was a mass murderer and a torturer, and she just complained that his work with sloppy?! Aya stared at Camille, face frozen in a perplexed expression. The truth was that she was too mortified to come up with a coherent response. But then she asked if Sebastian was dead and her mind snapped back into focus.

"I… really don't know," she answered. "I don't know much about the twins' powers, but I don't think that soul pulling thing is very precise, which is why I got nabbed too. I was kinda too busy getting kidnapped to check his pulse after." A bit of Sebastian's bite was coming back into her voice and she tried to pull herself back, telling herself to keep it together. It was then she remembered something that was almost like a dream. "Wait," she said almost to herself. "I saw him on the beach." He'd been there with Cassandra, but he'd been… different. But that couldn't be, right? Sebastian was dead. She'd watched as his soul dissolved to stardust. She'd felt him break apart. Aya shuddered at the memory. Jake had said the beach was a Matrix… so had Sebastian been an illusion? She hoped so. Aya didn't know what she'd do if he came back and she saw him again. But still, she continued to Camille, "I guess… if he was at the beach, then he must still be alive somewhere."

Camille's expression demonstrated how puzzled she was toward what she was hearing. A beach? Camille remembered a beach, yes, and a ship and a squid, but strangely enough it was fading little by little like a dream you start to forget as soon as you wake up. It was maybe specific to Camille, but the entire simulation was based off invented memories implanted in her mind, which may have been the cause of her difficulties recalling inconsistent events. This may have been the same with Aya's trip with Sebastian being alive.

"Wait... You were in that beach too? I thought that..." before she could finish, she thought a bit. Was this all like that fun movie, The Matrix? The conspiracy theorist in Camille rose highly, accumulating ideas of betrayal and government manipulation. Heck, even aliens came to mind, and she couldn't be closer from the truth. "Ugh... This is so messed up." she complained, looking in various directions to get the slightest clue as to what they could do. So far, she could only guess what was in the thick liquid in the intact tubes. Should she break them to find out what was hiding in there? The idea became tempting.

Aya found herself agreeing with Camille. This was messed up. She looked around, trying to make sense of anything. With a sigh, she resigned herself that maybe there was just no sense to be made. With a slight limp in her walk, she made her way to a far wall. It looked as though there was a door in it, though it was strange and unlike any door she'd seen before. Should they… go through it? They didn't know what was on the other side though, and that was concerning. And they didn't know if opening this door would trigger some sort of alarm, either. Heck, Aya wouldn't be surprised if they'd already triggered something when they'd broken their capsuls. She looked behind, unsure, to see Camille looking around at the other tubes in the room. There were two of them, and even with Aya's weak vision, she could make out the forms of what looked like people in them.

"If you want to help them," she called to the other girl, "I'm going to… investigate a bit." Without waiting for a reply, she turned back towards the door, placing her hands on it to steady herself. And with a snap, she jumped over to the astral plane.

Camille nodded, it wasn't like she could do uch about anything at this point, considering her condition. She then peered down at the tube she was sitting on, the shadow of the individual trapped within unnerved her ever so slightly. How uncomfortable to should have felt in there if they weren't asleep. Her sight neck pain from brutally waking up became more apparent when she thought about it. As an act of kindness and curiosity, she poked one end of the tube in order to break down multiple components that seemed to keep the machine active. Camille acted on impulse, again, as she didn't consider the possibility that this could kill the hosts.

TL;DR: Camille and Aya meet, stuff happens between them but nothing dangerous. Aya investigates the locked door while Camille sabotaged a tube containing one of the characters with us.

Jackson

Jackson was shocked when he saw everyone around him disappear, as if they just faded out of existence, before he got hit with a wave of nausea and pain. His sight became increasingly hazy, until he couldn't see anything at all, only darkness. He felt a hauntingly familiar chill seep into his bones, his eyes opening with a start as all of his memories came back to him. He had turned into MU, he had tried to kill people, had succeeded in killing Nate several times, then he had been knocked out. Then Nate had brought him to some remote cabin, but before anything could be done, they'd been attacked by soldiers, he had been captured, and he had no idea where Nate was.

The more he thought about what had happened, the more aware he was of his surroundings, and even more so, the older memories that it envoked with in him. No,not again Nononononononononononono! His breathing became erratic as he began to struggle, frantically looking for away out of the pod he was in. He eventually found the handle and pulled it, dropping from the pod with a solid thud. He quickly got up and looked around, seeing more pods going on as far as he could see, with people coming out of them looking just as confused as he was. Jackson turned and started running, looking for away out of this hell hole, but all he saw were more pods, more dazed people, more confusion. Soon, he stopped running, finding himself in a section where there seemed to be nobody around.

He laid against a pod, feeling the chill of the metal deep into his skin as he felt the reality of the situation settle on him. I'm trapped again, by who or what doesn't matter, and I'm probably going to be a lab-rat again. I'm going to become a fucking test subject, a Number, a THING!!! Anger and despair filled Jackson's mind as he recoiled into himself, a low chuckle escaping his lips as tears began to form in his eyes. I never should have gone with the Reformists, I should've just gone it my own way, should've known nothing good would come from it. Now, I'm right back where I started, after knowing only one goddamn week of actual freedom. . . . No, I'd rather die than let myself go through this again.

Behind him, a crack formed, but instead of just letting the energy flow into him, he pulled it in, clenching his teeth against the pain. He didn't care as blood began to drain from his nose and ears, as his veins seemed to burn, his skull feeling as though it was going to explode from the pressure the energy he was drawing on was putting on his mind. The cracks soon spread around him, like a pair of fractured wings, wrapping around him as his body began to convulse. He began to cough up blood as he felt inside seemign to tear themselves apart, the pain being worse than anything he had ever felt before, but he didn't care. He pressed on, continuing to draw in more and more energy. His eyes began to take on a dark blue glow, and a few strands of his hair turned white, before he let out a roar of pain.

And then the world went silent around him.

No one would hear or see anything as the energy was released in a violent burst, but the area Jackson was in had been completely distorted. The floor and the pods were pent into a variety of odd angles and shapes, some places had become like rubber, others were inexplicable cold or hot, one even had a velociraptor in it(though it seemed to be unable to escape it's general area). The area was complete and utter random chaos, and in the center of it was Jackson, lying unconscious on the floor, blood leaking from his eyes, ears, and mouth. he was still alive, if barely, but he was dead to the world and would be for awhile.

Jaden

Jaden didn't feel pain as his mind passed from the fantasy to reality, only a sense sadness and anger as his eyes opened to find himself inside some sort of pod. Escape was easy, Jaden simply busted out, shifting out of the clothes he found himself in and formed his usual attire. Looking around, Jaden sensed many Metas all around him, most in pods, but a few were waking up from what appeared to be a computer-simulated reality. Looking around at everything, and with the knowledge that Constantine had told him, in didn't take much time to figure out who was involved in this. And that was fine with Jaden, wonderful in fact, because now, he got to have his chance to rip apart each and everyone of them he could find.

Jaden then began to walk towards a familiar knowing what he needed before he went on his rampage and who he needed to give it to him.

Damien

Damien cocked at Eli's strange behavior, honestly expecting . . . well he didn't know what he had been expecting. Someone who seemed a bit more unhinged than this guy did, and certainly not someone who censored themselves in front of children. He simply shrugged after a bit of thinking and followed the man as he called for some guy called Nate, who showed up soon after in a rather odd way himself. It took Damien a little while to place the guy, finally remembering him as the one who had been with the girl trapped in a ball of energy. He seemed to be able to duplicate himself, interesting. Giving a wave to Nate, he went over to one of the pods and placed a hand on it, draining all the energy from it as he recharged himself. He did this with a couple more, which caused them to spit out their occupants as the power to support them dwindled away. Once he was done, he turned to the group again, leaning against a pod and just watching events go by. He was in no hurry to do anything yet, waiting until he had some more facts about his situations before he did anything.

Ian

"Better men, women, and even children have tried and failed, I promise you. I'm universally despised in seven countries, and have a fan club in 5 of them as well. Okay that's a lie, it's only a small one, but they always send me fan mail, which would be great except for the fact that nobody should no my home address. I've moved every time I've gotten mail from them, and every time, the house ends up getting bombed or raided. Yo don't make many friends in the mercenary business, especially with my personality and refusal to kill the people I fight." Ian stretched out with a small grunt before he turned around and began walking in one direction, halting, then turning around to the reverse direction and continuing to march. "As for company, I say you can never have enough. So yes, I'd love some. Let's see if we can find some more, hmm. Maybe we can find someone who has an idea of where we are, though I kinda doubt that. We'll see, I guess."

Eli picked the girl up sat her on his shoulders. She might be a bit old for it and Eli more than likely enjoyed it more. Still there an undeniable feeling of happiness for both of them.

"Legion, this angle of the morning is Aiko. Aiko is the one that told me that we were in a dream and is by and large responsible for waking us from our dreams." Eli said with a smile. "Promises her I'd get her back home safe and sound. As for her misfortune, she's a memory leach, see all your memories with less than a simple touch."

Eli looked up and spoke to Aiko. "Baby Sister I'm sure you already know him but this Shitdick, First of his Name, the Mighty King of Assholes and the Maker of Sticky Pages in the Sears catalog. Though I'm not sure of his real name. He can make duplicates of himself."

Eli looked back to Nate. "So any ideas on what's going on here. Prison or transport was my first guess. Beyond that I'm stumped."

The Queen Bee

Just as it seemed that Elijah, Damien, Nate and Aiko were just about to begin organising and working out what was going on, a heavy creak came from the direction of one of the walls. The tiling of the wall suddenly began to break into smaller pieces of tile, all scattering away from the opening that was beginning to form in the wall. With the buzz of excited electric and a final shudder, the tiles formed together again and what used to be a wall was now a doorway.

It would have been a perfect opportunity to escape if it wasn't for the fact that a dark figure took up the doorway. The light of the room illuminated a breathtakingly beautiful face graced by a body that most supermodels would die for. Sucking the life essence from people had its upsides, after all. Moving forward, she stopped and crossed her arms, raising an eyebrow in disbelief. Long black hair flowed half way down her back and overall, she looked... perfect. Too perfect, in fact. Painfully perfect.

"I would have expected a little better defenders for the Seed but I suppose I can't complain." Her words were delicately overbearing. Like she was smothering them with every quick twist of her lips. Stepping forward, the light illuminated the veins of silvery flowing metal that lined her clothing as she defined the etchings of a seductive smile upon her lips. "Normally I would stay around to play with men of your stature but I have a job, boys, and you lot are just an afterthought compared to that little sweet-cheek." Aiko suddenly found herself on the receiving end of the stare that seemed predatory yet oh-so-inviting. The look was almost motherly.

"I would request that you skip the heroics but I guess that is simply futile." Letting a disappointed sigh escape her lips, she stepped forward and waved her hand lazily, as if the action itself didn't require her utmost attention. From the walls and her clothing, the strange metallic liquid clumped together to form the same blades that had slaughtered Max Velocity. "Step back, little one."

She knew that she shouldn't waste their Meta blood so her blades returned to their floating liquid form and suddenly lashed out at Nate, his clones and Damien. The metal wrapped around their arms and legs like tendrils before gaining some sort of magnetism and dragging them to one of the nearby walls. The only one not targeted was Elijah Craigh - she wanted to kill any form of rebellion growing in him.

Without the protection of her metal, she appeared almost foolish approaching the Pyromancer but the man wasn't harmful to her. "You're a strange one, Elijah Craigh." She murmured softly, her steps slow as she edged closer to him. When she actually reached him, she could see the hesitation in his eyes. "Such raw, untapped power. You would make for a delicious mate but alas, work life and personal life must remain very apart." Her words seemed to paralyze him and allow her to reach up and pluck Aiko from his shoulders like a rare fruit.

Once Aiko was safely behind her and not moving, she turned back to Elijah. Cutting out any air resistance and applying a massive amount of force to her arm, her fist suddenly pummelled forward, landing dead-set in his stomach and sending him rocketing back against the wall. There was no heroic battle or even a small rebellion. One of the strongest Metas out of all of them was reduced to a crumbling mess with a single punch. It was becoming very certain who their primary enemy was now. "I hope, for your safety gentlemen, that you do not exhaust your use. I've always wanted to sleep with myself, after all." That one was a directly referring to Legion and a little hint to her powers as she winked at the pinned up man.

"Come, little one, we have much planning." She giggled gently and gently took Aiko's hand. As she moved to leave, she could hear Elijah somehow recovering behind her and staggering to his feet. She knew what would follow. She knew that men like him forgot their intelligence when it came to protecting something precious. "Close your eyes, little one, you will not like this."

Just as she warned Aiko, a small sliver of the liquid metal grouped together into a blade and drove itself into the oncoming form of Elijah Craigh. She turned her head to the side a little and regarded him from the corner of her vision before sighing and dropping Aiko's hand. Turning her body completely, she took a step closer to Elijah who looked almost shocked. Stepping up onto her tippy toes, she delicately wrapped her fingers around the back of his neck and pulled his head forward. With a gentle kiss, the blade drew itself from Elijah's staggering body and morphed back into her clothing. "Another time, Elijah Craigh?" There was a challenge in that tone of hers as she dragged a sole digit along his rather large wound.

Extracting the gathered blood, she raised it to her lips and delicately sucked while holding eye contact. His wound itself began to burn like Hellfire but it also began to seal over as she turned and left, Aiko in-hand.

So the kid was the one who saved the day? Nate instantly liked this girl far more than he had grown to like Eli in all the time he had known him. Recent events being a dream made everything make more sense. The absurd and slapstick nature of the beach hadn't been a mile off of Nate's normal life but he knew something was off. The fact that he didn't seem to care about things he clearly should have cared about had been his first clue. He meant to investigate things further but had found himself distracted by shenanigans.

After being introduced as the king of assholes, Nate directed a graceful bow at Aiko. He was strangely proud of Eli's insult and the mocking title it gave him. "M'lady" he said with another smile as he bowed. "Nathan James Hunter at your service...But most people call me Legion."

The duplicate meanwhile had wandered over to a nearby pod and gave it a little kick as Eli asked what was going on. "I don't think this is either" he answered for Nate, crouching low to take a closer look at the thing "This is way beyond any tech I've ever seen before. Military doesn't own anything like this that I know of. But then there are some crazy smart people running around these days. Crazy being the operative word. Maybe that biiii-uhhhhh" he caught the word before saying it so young Aiko didn't hear it and replaced it with a clearing of his throat and "Maybe that busy young Ruby built this...She's builds all kinds of crazy...stuff."

The thought barely had time to settle in when the walls began to break apart. Nate wished he had a weapon at hand but could only clench his fists for whoever or whatever came through the newly formed door. He was not prepared for who appeared. He knew this woman. She was the one that had killed Max Velocity. Oh crap. There was instantly another duplicate by his side and all three were ready to charge the woman but barely got a single foot forward before they were wrapped up in some kind of metal and thrust against a nearby wall. Nate felt the back of his head smack against the wall and his vision blurred for a second. He tried to free himself but it was no use. He watched the scene before him unfold as the mystery woman plucked Aiko from Eli's shoulders then blasted the southerner against a wall. Nate's eyes widened at that. She had barely moved and she had downed Eli. At the comment directed at him, Nate narrowed his eyes half in confusion and half in disgust at what she was implying. The woman swept out of the room then with Aiko beside her and the wall sealing behind them. Once free, Nate was quickly back to his feet and he raced to the now solid wall, searching for a way through.

@Raijinslayer
Chiller

Chiller smiled. "Or at very least a closet. I have ideas of what I want to do?" she flew a kiss towards Ian. Ian felt really cold suddenly.
"Did I tell you my real name was Karen?" She liked the outfit she was in.
"This breathes amazingly."

@AcerRo

Aiko

"Hi shitdick." Aiko wave. she was going to say more then.

"Well I am glad to have helped Shitdick." Aiko like the soldier and smiled at him.

Aiko was terrified of what was going on. She did not know why this woman wanted her.
Aiko tried to use her ability on the woman but it was not working on her.
"Let me Go!" she tugged away from the woman.
There was conflicting thoughts in her head but she knew mental manipulation well enough to be cautious and scared. She let the fear stay alive so she could stay in control.

Light wasn't sure what had happened. her bomb exploded, and as soon as it did, she found herself in some green void for a split second before awaking in some sort of capsule. Feeling a bit claustrophobic, although more terrified of the fact she was in a prison of some sort, Light grabbed the very complex device that was on her head, the device in the process of swapping parts to replace the toonish bits, and yanked it out of its connections. the resulting short circuit opened up her pod as a few alarms went off alerting whatever was nearby that she had escaped her containment.

"Whoever put me in that thing is going to be missing some vitals..." Light said, sharpening her fingers while agitated at her 'dream', then finding out she was been experimented upon without her approval.

<Okay, Sheppard?> thought George to Max Sheppard again, <I know, I know, you're scared, and I have no real way to prove my identity to you without two-way communication. But, I need you, and we need each other. So, here's some information:>

<By my, well, guess, the vessel you're in contains all the Metas of LA and the general region. That means that people such as Elijah Craigh, The Owlman, Legion, and other surviving members of the Reformist Movement - or people currently serving them - are near. There should also be members of StuCorp and one of StuCorp's employees, Alto Ganze. But, more importantly, there is one more person.>

<In my time at the UN, I met a Metahuman Diplomat known as Emile King, whose powers are unknown - I only discovered he's a Meta when he was abducted as well. Find him; he should be an expert in politics, manipulation, deception and insurgency - he even helped train 'Moderate' Syrian Rebels back in 2015. We're going to need him. George out.>

MIKE woke up in a strange looking place with strange people surrounding him,He didn’t know where he was all he could remember was Dean and Jenni fighting and then darkness.”I wonder where we are…you two sure got me into a big mess…” He thought taking in his surroundings.”So far what I see is a man,a women and a dog..this sounds like a setup to a unfunny joke…” He thought rubbing his head feeling his head aching for some unknown reason to him.

MIKE sighed taking in where he was it was foreign and strange to him but didn’t scare him in fact he had adrenaline rushing inside of his body another unknown reason to him,”You…dog…humans are you awake?” He said to the others trying to get up but his body felt limp and distanced like his leg was asleep.”Now our body cannot move I guess this going to be one hell of a day…” He thought slowly standing up form where he was.

“No I don’t think we are in a alien ship that is stupid. I I believe we are either on a space ship or a airplane either way a human had captured us” He muttered arguing with the other two.He now turned his attention to the women that had just woken up and knew she could help him escape,”Women come over her and we can escape..” He said calmly to cartoon women standing to his feet.

"Mind your words girl, slander and filth ought not ought come from lady like you... But he is a Shitdick, ain't he?" Eli said, he was almost happy that was easy to see. It put him at ease and made him comfortable.

His happiness was short lived however when the wall started to creek. As the wall broke open Eli knew something was about to happened, but what he didn't. Why didn't he expect this? Why wasn't this at the forefront of his mind?

Eli knew better than most anyone that that when bad things happened, people go through three stages. The shock hit in two fronts, one where the wall broke open and the other when she called for the girl. He felt something, something that kept this all powerful meta in his place. It took him for took long to figure it out. For the first time in years. For the first time since his best friend died, since Scarlet left him, he felt fear.

The fear was so powerful that it kept him in place as the new guy and Legion where pinned against the wall. He snapped his head from side to sideas he watched what happened. That fear and bewilderment kept him in place while this bitch took his friend away from. He tried to move but it was too late, not only was friend gone but his feet were melted in place it only took the moment for him to look down before he was put down on the ground with a hit that was so hard, it made him want to puke.

What was happening to him? This shit just didn't happen to Elijah Craig! He was calm and collected, he knew to be ready he wasn't doing anything he knew to do. Then that little girl who had done no wrong did the worst thing she could have done. She let out a fearful scream. That was Eli lost it.

Eli erupted as he made his way to use feet. His power grew and grew and if he had timed right he would be unstoppable. Yet he was wrong, with a force that that he'd not felt in an age, his eruption died out. For a man that never really felt any kinda heat he could feel something warm running down his body. He was stop dead in his tracks as he felt a deep and horrific burning deep down inside him.

Too add insult to injury this bitch had the gaul to suck his blood from her fingers. The shock was so strong that he couldn't even register what she said. Just that she was gone and with her his new friend.

As he fell to the ground Eli finally realized that that his new connection with that little girl, the person in years to give him anywhere close to fair shake, caused him to let his guard down. Everyone else just dealt with him or wanted something from him. Mostly his name or powers, but not her, she like him, just wanted a friend. Eli wasn't about to let this go quietly.

"NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!" Eli let out a horrific roar. He hurled fire ball after fire ball at the wall but nothing happened. Nothing gave, he might as well not even be doing anything. The pain was so horrible that he couldn't even concentrate enough to erupt.

Eli did the only thing he could and started snapping his fingers. As he inched his way towards the wall the blasts of fire became more and more concentrated. With every blast came out with grunt of rage. The results where stronger blasts. It wasn't until he was only but a few feet away that the wall finally gave. Once the Eli knew he was gonna get through the wall, he let loose his last powerful yet and the wall not only gave way but exploded away.

The jagged edges of what was left of the wall made it possible to get for him to get to his feet. He couldn't walk, let alone stand but you had to admire his tenacity if nothing else.

"AIKO! AIKO I'M COMING." Eli roared, trying to take another step but it was in vain as he hell to the ground. Still inching towards where he thought that bitch took his friend. He couldn't wait to burn her brains out from her skull.

Collab between bee and c3

As Aya sent her spirit out to explore the ship, she would see various spectral forms of varying degrees of distinction. Whether she turned her gaze or not towards them was immaterial; in the end, a series of motes would appear before her, motes of light that gathered to form a very familiar shape.

Cedric Wessex, former leader of the Reformist Council, now dead. In this plane of existence, however, he can still appear, still manifest a form, a form that looked like his old self. Faintly glowing, his form was clad in his typical longcoat, shirt, and jeans, and he carried nothing in his hands.

"Aya..." he said, "I'm glad to see you. You have much to ask, don't you?"

Aya started when she heard her name and spun to see Cedric. She stared for a moment, eyebrows scrunching in confusion. She didn't know Cedric had died, as she's been distracted during that time. Absorbing the soul of a serial killer tended to make it difficult to pay attention to anything else.

"…Mr. Wessex?" she asked. "I don't – what are you doing here?" As far as she knew, it shouldn't have been possible for him to be on this plane. "Wait, do you know what's happening? Where we are?"

"I died," he said offhandedly. "It's not so bad, now that it's over." He then continued:

"Ghosts see a lot of things, hear a lot of things. They don't know everything, but, well, we know enough." The 20-year old then gazed at her:

"You, and every Metahuman on this Planet, have been abducted by Alien Commandoes, for the purpose of serving as soldiers in a Civil War. You see, Metahumanity is actually caused by a virus, which in turn is fatal to the Aliens, which would normally not be an asset, except in the aforementioned Civil War. You and the other Metas of LA are being transported in an Alien Ship, which is going through either Space or Hyperspace, to the Empire controlled by them."

"We must stop the ship - no, the fleet - from arriving at its destination. To do that, we need an insurgency, and to get an insurgency, you have to get as many Metahumans on board with the idea. Explore the ship; look for as many people who have gotten free as possible, establish lines of communication. A friend of mine, George Maxwell, already has this idea, but he's dealing with a very...skeptical person as his contact. So, everything falls on you, now."

"I… excuse me?!"
Memories flooded back to her – planning the attack on the Reformist base, agreeing to spare at least s few of the Metas there so they could be recruited. But above all, knowing that Cedric Wessex had to die. For a moment she was embarrassed that she hadn't been the one to pull it off. The foreign thoughts poured into her, overwhelming to the point where she was almost forced back to her body. Aya staggered, putting a hand to her temple.

"Mr. Wessex," she said, eyes scrunched closed, "I'm so sorry." That was her. That was something she would say, and not Sebastian. "But… aliens? We were captured by aliens?" She supposed it made about as much sense as someone making their spirit leave their body, or manipulating blood with their mind. She froze though when he said it was up to her. "Oh, no no no no, it cannot be up to me, I'm just a college student, I wasn't even part of the Meta wars back in LA, and I–" She was rambling. She knew that, but Aya couldn't stop. She couldn't be relied on right now. Not when a mass murder was seeping into her every thought, not when she'd felt a moment of triumph at hearing Cedric had died. "Mr. Wessex, I can't be the one you depend on. Please, it's just… you need to find someone else for this. I can't be counted on for something this important."

"You're the only one I can count on," spoke Cedric implacably. "I failed, badly, just before my death. I thought I was invincible, and so I died for it. So now, I put my bets on one who is weak, one who deprecates herself, on the thought that, perhaps, there is a hidden strength to her, a hidden strength that may yet be the key to winning the war." He then gazed at her icily.

"And I intend to win the war."

The man then held out his ghostly hand.

"I can drag Sebastian out of you and into me; hold him prisoner inside me till it is my turn to go to the True Afterlife - I cannot tell you what goes on there, and it's going to distract you from this war anyway. I planned to free you of him anyway, but, please, at least try your best."

She paused, uncertain. Cedric seemed sure, but… really, she couldn't be so important. She couldn't be trusted with something like this. What if she messed it up somehow? All Aya's life, no one had ever depended on her for something so crucial. Then he offered to take Sebastian from her. The relief that coursed through her was a palpable thing, but then she paused. How could she thrust this burden on another person? Especially one who had already given everything for what he believed him?

"I appreciate it, Mr. Wessex," she said, almost unable to believe what she was about to say. "But… I can't ask anyone else to carry him… especially someone who's given so much. Too much." But maybe it wasn't just selflessness driving her, though. "Besides… I think… I'm better with him." She froze, rethinking her statement. "I mean, not better. It's torture, if I'm being honest." She tried to laugh in an attempt at humor, but it fell flat. "But… I know things now. Things that he knew that might be more important than anything I've ever done before." She thought of Avalon, of Cassandra, of things that might be irrelevant now that they were abducted by aliens, but might still be useful. Sebastian,s pragmatic side was telling her that now she knew how to lie. How to read people. Things she'd been laughably bad at, but now seemed integral.

"But… you're really sure about this alien thing?"

"As sure as I've ever been about anything in my life," Cedric assured her. "Also, if you won't let me take Sebastian...one more gift, then." And then he drew close to Aya and kissed her on the forehead, which began glowing a few moments after his lips met the 'skin'.

"This is a Ghost's Blessing," spoke Cedric to Aya, "with it, you'll be able to get a sixth sense as to the intentions of those around you, as well as forewarning of any changes in personality. It's the power I lacked when I was alive, and which I cannot use while dead."

"Now..." he spoke as his body began to scatter into motes of light once more, "I have to go..."

Aya watched as Cedric dessolved into stardust, just as Sebastian had.

"Goodbye,"
she whispered, as he finally disappeared. She waited a moment after he was gone, the finality sinking into her. Cedric Wessex was dead. His gift echoed through her spirit like a chime, so gentle compared to Sebastian's dominating will. Eventually she spurred herself back into action. She couldn't just stand around, stupefied if something so dangerous was happening. She turned to the nearest wall and floated through it, taking a guess. In a matter of moments, she emerged on the other side of a thick wall. When she turned, what she saw made her blood freeze. It was a giant ship of some sort, flying through space. Aya thought she was going to be sick. Cedric had been right. In the next moment she was back in her body with a gasp.

"We have a problem," she said, her voice echoing through the room.

Tl;Dr: Cedric's ghost finds Aya and tells her what's going on. He gives her the ability to read people and their intentions. The she pops back to the physical world to tell people about what she's learned as Cedric finally disappears for good.

*BANG* *CRASH* *SPLASH* *BANG*

The sounds echoed through the room as something heavy hit something metal. The something metal was a nearby pod and the something heavy was Jake's head. He had woken a moment earlier and found himself in an environment that made no sense to him. He was floating in something. Why was he floating? More distressing than that was the fact that there was something over his face and down his throat. He didn't like being touched, let alone orally probed. He was more angry than afraid right now and thrashed around in rage. His head clattered against the side of the pod a couple of times until he inadvertently hit something that opened a hatch on the bottom of the pod, sending the liquid inside and Jake himself sliding out onto the floor.

It was truly horrible. He felt like he was being born again. He hit the ground and immediately scrambled to his feet and began pawing at the mask over his face. It finally came away and with it came the breathing tube in Jake's throat, causing him to wretch somewhat. When the thing hit the ground in front of him he barked at it as though saying "And stay out!" He took a moment to shake the gunk from his fur, not really caring if it hit anyone nearby. In fact it was only after that that he even realized there were people around. He turned to the people nearby and simply harumphed at them.

Isabella

The first thing Isabella saw as she woke up was Jaden's face, the first thing she felt was disgust. Not for Jaden but with herself, she had really let herself go on that beach. She couldn't help but wonder how much of that had been real, how much of was the simulation changing her personality. It was likely mostly the former and that made her disgusted; she was supposed to be a queen amongst metas, the woman who had orchestrated the fall of the Heroes and the death of their leader, instead she was now basically a sex-driven bimbo. That reputation she had so carefully earned was likely ruined in the short length of time she had spent on that beach.

Her pod soon opened, sensing that Isabella was now awake or something, she couldn't possibly know for sure. She swung her legs out and stood to face Jaden, running a hand through her hair she smiled at him, "Good to be back in the real world, though the circumstances could be better. What do you need, darling?" Her voice was sickly sweet and her smile, while attractive, caused an uneasiness in those who saw it. She was more determined than ever to take control of this situation.

----
Avarice

Avarice had been pondering her surroundings for sometime before everything started to feel very very cold. She was on a beach so that definitely wasn't normal, there was something missing. Her teeth began to chatter, something was wrong. She blinked her eyes a couple times as things began to shift into something very different. Avarice was still just as cold but there were tubes in her arm and she was surrounded by metal, some sort of cocoon. Using a heated beam she cut herself out of the shell, there was a screen just above it that was flashing red, if she had understood the language she would have known that due to the chemical cocktail that she had been on she would suffer from memory loss for a while.

Still a bit groggy and more than a bit cold she sat up and looked around, unsure whether to let her guard down just yet. She saw several pods similar to her own and that pervert kid curled up in a ball, freaking out for some reason. She guessed this whole thing was probably his fault but she didn't think killing him at the moment would solve the problem and if his mind really was shattered it would be worth while to shape it into something she could use. Looking into the other pods she noticed that there was one on fire, a Joshua Baker, poor guy was long gone thanks to the kid's little fit. There was also the matter of his apparent injuries which she climbed out of her pod to get a closer look at. Grabbing him a bit roughly by the hair she maneuvered his head to get a better look before healing the internal bleeding, there was nothing she could do at the moment about his mind, she didn't have the time or the concentration to put this humpty dumpty back together

-----
Vince

He could have sworn this head ache was worse than any he'd ever had before, which wasn't saying much since he wasn't a heavy drinker and he never suffered from migraines. Even without anything to compare it to, he could tell it was bad. Though he chose to look on the bright side, his memory was back and that was really awesome but that meant that he was in space captured by aliens which was 100% not cool. His pod soon opened with an interesting whoosh noise and looked around to find several like his, some already open and empty. The only one that was still in use was some blonde girl, attractive but something about her seemed off. Looking down the hall he saw what was possibly and alien and what was hopefully human. Despite his social powers and charisma he took little joy in most social events though that might have had to do with the annoying brat he worked with for the past couple of months. So because of this he decided to stay where he was leaning against his metallic cocoon.

That lasted about two minuets, he had too many questions to ignore them. Walking up to them very non-threateningly, he noticed the blue one blowing a kiss, he sighed slightly, "Hope I'm not interrupting anything."

Somehow, somewhere, there was an explosion that shot Ann's tiny body from the boat and into the crystal clear water below. Ann landed with a splash and the submersion quickly overcame the stunned girl. She slowly drifted to the bottom of the bay, almost weightless. The sound of rushing water strangely seemed to break the quiet bliss of Ann's quiet drowning. The girl struggled as if the sound had been bothering her like an angry bee and eventually the girl managed to stabilize and head to the surface. All the while the sound of rushing water increased in its intensity until finally... Air.

Ann opened her eyes weakly as she had just stirred from a deep slumber. There were no gulls wailing or no salty smell of the waves. Instead to her own horror, a curved glass window separated her from a cold, sterile environment. The girl gave the window a feeble push but it did not budge. Perhaps claustrophobia was setting in as the Ann increasingly began pushing, and eventually slamming, the door to her pod in a panic. "No! No! I want out! I want out!" She cried out as she beat on the door.

As if her pleas were answered, a ghostly hand reached in from the window and dragged Ann out. She was tossed away but she didn't fly very far as her momentum mysteriously disappeared. Ann quickly turned around and found herself floating outside of the pod. The window unbroken and in her stead, a twin sat glaring ahead unnerved by her containment. Before Ann could even question it, the door to the pod was immediately flung open, detaching the metal construct off its machine and flying across the room. Ann's twin, Ariadne stepped out and looked over to her partner, as if expecting greeting.

Ann gave a ghostly wail as the pod door smashed with a bang but soon settled as she took in her surroundings. "Hi Ariadne..." She said, relieved that her sister has returned, along with her memory of what Ann hoped to be real. Ariadne made no gesture in return but rather she looked away and down the hall. Ann instantly understood what that meant. "Is there something down the hall?" She asked not expecting an answer. Her ghostly form soon fluttered off down the hallway with Ariadne in tow.

As they slowly progressed down the hall, Ann nervously glanced around trying to recognize anyone in the pods. There were others stored in some type of cryo=sleep, all strangers, probably stuck in some simulated world just like Ann was subjected to. Surely there would have to be someone she knew in one of these pods. All those people that were at the beach with her in that world but their visages were fading in Ann's mind. She couldn't even remember their names at this point.

Finally Ann saw figures down the hall. She sped along, leaving Ariadne in her casual stride, and arrived at the side of woman who appeared to be roughly grabbing at a boy, Jackson. Ann gasped as she saw a familiar face, leaking blood. "Don't hurt him!" Ann's ghostly shrill sounded as if it were distorted. She had never seen this woman before so she wasn't sure what to think about her.

Honey

Honey watched the carnage of the pirate ship for awhile. This certainly ranked as her oddest trip to date as she could have never conceived of skeleton pirates and large space lasers. Honey looked on but her vision slowly began glassing over until eventually a simple blink lead to heavy, droopy eyelids crusted over with marks of a deep sleep.

"Hmmm?" She hummed as she shifted in a stir to wake her body up. Much to her surprise, however, Honey wasn't in a bed or anything familiar. A large metal tube was encasing Honey's sleeping form. She rubbed her hand all along the tube, making sure this was real. She quickly pulled away as if she worried that she would freeze her extremity on the cold metal casing.

She quickly discovered that the pod could open from her end and she wasted no time on opening it up. She stepped out to a very machine-like place that lacked any natural color and favored a more menacing gray.

As she surveyed, she saw what appeared to be a doctor heading away from her. She nervously waved her hand at the doctor's back, only to realize the he can't see that a moment later. "Um pardon me! I ain't sick or nuttin', right?" She hollered down the hall, breaking the eerie quiet outside of the constant vibrating emanating from the walls.

Jackson

Jackson opened his eyes to find himself in a familiar place, the old training room where he had been tested on his proficiency in using his abilities. He had hated this room, hated the people who stood on the other side of the glass looking down at him, treating him as something less than human, a product to profit from. Standing in the middle of the room Jackson saw double, except this one had golden eyes and looked incredibly pissed off. Kuro walked right over to Jackson's still prone form and picked him by the collar of his weird outfit, bringing him up to look him in the eyes.

"Who the fuck do you think you are!?!?" He screammed, the rage in his voice causing Jackson to tremble slightly in fear. What was going on, why was Kuro so angry?

"Huh, wh-" Before Jackson could finish, Kuro reared his head back, then rammed it right into Jackson's face, breaking his nose. Jackson screamed in pain as his counter-part dropped him, gripping his nose only to find it whole again. Kuro then proceeded to kick him in the gut, hard, causing Jackson to fly backwards a little from the force of it. He grimaced in pain, flinching slightly when he saw Kuro approach him again. "W-w-w-why are you d-doing this, what d-d-did I do to you!?!?"

"You tried to kill yourself, you cowardly little shit!!!" Kuro brought his fist back and landed a punch right into Jackson's face. knocking his head into the floor, causing him to spit out two teeth and a good bit of blood before the damage disappeared. It also jogged his memory of what he had tried to do, and why he had done it. "B-b-but we're t-t-trapped again, t-t-they're going to exp-p-periment on us again, do you want that, Kuro!?!? Do you want to go through that dehumanizing hell again!?!?!" Jackson's confusion and fear gave way to rage and betrayal, unable to believe that Kuro of all people was doing this to him. He had been through too much down in that fucking place, and he wasn't about to let it happen again.

He stood up and faced Kuro, but before he could get his barrings, Kuro was there with a knee to the stomach, then another sock to the face to bring him right back down to the floor again. The pain was temporary, fading almost as soon s it came, but it still hurt like hell.

"No, no I don't want that again, but like hell am I going to let you give up like a fuckin' coward! You think you're the only one who's had a hard time, the only one whose been through what we've been through? Hell, there are probably people who've been through much worse, with not even the week of freedom that we got to experience." Kuro walked over to pick Jackson up by the shoulder, then slammed him into the nearby wall, pressing the boney part of his arm against Jackson's neck, his eyes burning with his own cocktail of rage and hurt, except his was much, much greater than Jackson's. "Besides, it isn't only your life, what about me, huh, what about Mu? Twisted as the fucker is, he's still a life you have no right to take. Two lives other than you're own were almost extinguished because you couldn't handle a little fucking bad news. You sicken me right now, Jackson, and if you ever pull this shit again . . . I won't show any mercy."

Kuro through Jackson down to the ground, causing him to blackout temporarily before he came to with his head being rather roughly pulled on, a soothing sensation easing his now incredibly strained body, and the scream of someone calling out. He couldn't think about what was happening, he could barely conceive what had just happened. How could Kuro say that to me, he knows what we went through, why would he want to go back to that. Doesn't he understand it would've been for the best? and what did he mean by show no mercy? Jackson was both confused and angry by what the whole ordeal, and the person holding him by the hair wasn't helping. "Could you let me go now . . . Cer?!?!" He was surprised tat she was here, and that she'd be holding him with such disregard, but he quickly pushed the though away as his head started to really hurt. HIs entire body shook slightly, the tremors caused by his muscles spasming like they were being subjected to electrocution. He still had a large amount of Core Energy inside of him, and it was looking for a way to escape the mortal confinement of Jackson's flesh

Cassandra

As Alto walked down the isles of pods, one would started to bang violently as the occupant tried to escape. Upon looking in side, he would find a smallish girl trying to punch and kick her way out of the pod with little success. Cassandra was to panicked to see the small handle that would open the pod or think of short circuiting the wiring from inside of the pod. When she saw Alto, she'd wave her arms around, not caring if the guy looked like a boss from a Dark Souls video game, so long as he got her out of this fucking pod.

"Hmmm," Alto said, taking in his surroundings, "Curioser and curioser."

He was in character now, a stupid character mind you, but his statement wasn't exactly untrue. The alien ship wasn't exactly getting any more interesting but it was interesting enough to warrant the statement.

"The world has changed much since I last slept." He said.

Again, not exactly false but it wasn't the way he made it out to be. Suddenly, he heard a banging from a nearby pod. He looked inside to see a young girl, banging on the glass and seemingly begging him to let her out. Alto suddenly had an idea.

He hefted his Zweihander and stabbed into the pod, missing the girl by a wide margin to make sure she wasn't scared. He then put his hand in the new opening and tore the lid off of the pod, all the while making it seem like he was hurrying.

"Princess!" He said, kneeling down in front of her, "It has been long since your disappearance, but I, Knight Dural have finally found you again!"

Now it was time to really start screwing with some heads.

Aya & Camille

((Collab between a baguette and a noodle))

The pod's tubes were slowly decomposing as Camille's powers did their magic, the produced dust vanishing into the hollow air filling the ship. She thus had to step off the pod and find somewhere else to sit her tired behind. She was tired and feeling generally lazy from using her powers a little too often, so she sat down on the floor, leaning against the wall adjacent to the pod. She closed her eyes for a brief second, more than likely to relax, only to succumb to a traitorous micro-nap. She'd only snap back to reality once Aya would signal that there would be a problem.

"Ehhh quoi? What is it?" She asked, a bit disoriented and uncomfortable after brutally waking up from her resting session.

Aya spun around to face Camille, wearing a panicked expression.

"Uhh," she stammered, unsure where to start. "Ok, so before I tell you you're gonna have to promise not to freak out because right now I'm freaking out, and if we both freak out it's just gonna be a bad time overall and it's already bad, but that'd just make it worse." Her words were crammed together in a single breath as she rambled. Running a hand through her still dripping hair, she bit her lip and looked at the smaller girl. "We… might've been abducted by aliens." Aya held her breath, waiting for the shoe to drop.

Camille's eyes were still half opened, she could barely associate Aya with a recent memory, much like how one would feel as they would wake up in the middle of the night. So everything she had said, with her panicked expression and unending explaining, at least for Camille it felt that long, the little girl could barely understand what she was saying. The little she could capture was 'abducted by aliens', which prompted a "Huh, whut?" while she slowly tried to stand up. Her right foot was asleep, or almost, as she couldn't feel it, making the simple act of standing up a rather comedic one. She kept a confused look on her already tired face, unsure as to what was Aya's problem.

"Camille," Aya said, enunciating carefully, "the Klingons have us." Would the French girl even get that reference? Heck, Aya herself barely got it. She threw her hand out to gesture to what she knew was the wall seperating them from the great vaccuum of space. "We're in outerspace. Y'know, the place with all the stars and wormholes?" This time, the snappiness was all Aya – stress tended to bring out her bite. She brought the hand down and ran it over her pant leg, needing something to do, some way to keep moving. With a sigh of frustration, she walked over to Camille and offered out both her hands to help her up. "There's some… war or something, and Metas were made to be weapons, I don't know. But… look, we can't stay here, we have to do something, find the others…"

This time Camille paid closer attention, the alien reference barely making any sense to her mind, she wasn't much of a sci-fi series type, unless they were movies. Aliens, outspace, she had considered it in her little wild conspiracy theories about her endding up here but even she realized how ridiculous that could be. She rubbed her eyes with her forearm before reaching out to catch Aya's hands, carefully using the assistance to get back on track. But something bothered Camille, and she wasn't the type to hold back her thoughts.

"Wait wait... Outerspace? How the heck did you even snatch that idea?!"

She didn't let go of Aya's hands, however, as the crazy story didn't bother her most. She wasn't too sure if she could believe Aya on anything since she was, well, just some stranger from the Reformists, but one minor detail ticked her off. Her grip was a little tighter when she made it obvious to Aya she wasn't letting her wander around. Camille glared at her new acquaintance's eyes?

"Say. When did I tell you my name?"

Shit.

Panic bubbled up in Aya's throat, but then Sebastian's manipulative side fought it down and took over.

"You didn't," she responded, seemingly unperturbed. "They had a file at the Reformist base and I may have looked where I wasn't supposed to but that's really not important right now. Because, again. Aliens." She could feel Camille's grip tight around her wrists, but Aya knew she was stronger and a dozen ways to break a hold like this. Plus her power buzzed just under the surface of her skin, ready to catapult them both to the astral plane. But if she could play this right, it wouldn't have to come to that. She really didn't need an enemy right now, and Camille's power would be endlessly useful.

"For the aliens thing… Cedric told me." She cut herself off when she knew how that sounded, but quickly opened her mouth again to say, "I know, he's dead, thank you for that." She shot Camille a look that said Aya very much knew who was to blame for that. "But he has some ghost power now or something. He told me about this, and now we have to move."

The answer Camille received felt a bit strange, she believed it since it did make a lot of sense, but then something else bothered her. Aya would have powers if she were with the Reformists long enough to get such information, or she was some very special secretary. Either way, Camille wasn't too happy, no matter the response but most of her worries were nullified once the idea of an alien craft had taken them for unknown reasons. Then she mentioned Cedric's ghost, which seemed strange as well but she wasn't going to question it beyond that given the crazy powers she had confronted in recent times.

"You're... Kidding, right?"

Although she planned to have a more sarcastic tone, she appeared more puzzled than ever. Her slow mind having trouble processing the approximate information Aya had given to her about... Everything pretty much. Bu she did agree on one thing, they had to get the hell out.

"Okay never mind, just... Did your magical ami tell you something about getting out?" She asked, her own power barely coming into mind for some reason. She really wasn't the brightest partner to have.

Aya breathed an internal sigh of relief when Camille let the issue drop. Then she brought up how to escape. Aya moved to bring her hand up to her hair again, but Camille still had her slim fingers clamped around her wrist.

"No, but… I was actually sort of hoping you would help with that. With your power, I mean. Do you think you have the energy to break the door?"

Camille turned her head to acknowledge the obstacle proventing them from bailing altogether. She studied it for about a second before releasing a prolonged sigh and staring back at her friend she had ensnared in her little wrist grip. "I guess..." She slowly let go of her captive's hands and proceeded to stretch her arms real quick as she walked up to the metal door. She was gathering energy in her body to use up on this probably taxing strike considering the probability that it would be some massively dense material.

"So... How's the foot?" she asked a few meters away from the door.

Aya blinked as she was reminded of her injury. In all the chaos of learning about aliens and wars, she'd forgotten all about it. She looked down at her foot, seeing the cuts that had scabbed over with Camille's power.

"Uh," she started awkwardly, "fine. Thank you." It was still tender and she walked with a bit of a limp, but she'd had worse before. She followed Camille over to the door and watched as the girl started preparing herself. "Are you gonna be ok? With using your power so much, I mean." That was a dumb question. Even if Camille wasn't ok, they needed her to get them out.

Camille closed the last remaining gap between her and the door. She was happy that her ability worked and Aya was better, the Thank you making her feel as if she had accomplished something, but she didn't show it. Or at least, Aya would only see Camille's long black hair covering most of her back and not her face, so there wasn't any risk. She didn't respond to a similar question thrown back as she assumed it was some kind of equivilent exchange for her own concern. It made her irrationally irritated, even if it wasn't really justified or entirely true. Her actions would answer Aya's 'concern' better than basic words would.

Camille pushed power her palms against the metallic barrier, concentrating just enough to have a good grasp as to how much she'd have to apply and avoid tiring herself so quickly. A drop of sweat fell from her forehead while she focused on her power. Once she had reached the point she wanted, she had let go of the door and took a step back. At first glance nothing happened, but upon closer inspection, two holes as large as Camille's palms formed right where she had set her hands. They slowly grow like ripples on a puddle of water, slowly reducing the mass of the door before the speed of the spread accelerated and slowy consumed a portion of the door, sending that piece of metal to nothingness. She had created a large hole in the wall, enough to fit three people in at least.

"There."

Aya watched as the door crumbled away.

"Wow," she said, clearly impressed. "Nice work." She glanced down at Camille, double checking that the girl was still steady on her feet. She looked ok, if a bit winded. Aya figured she'd just keep an eye on her as they went. She walked forward a bit, leaning on the smooth edges of the wall and peered out to the hallway. It was deserted, but… alien ship. She really wasn't looking to run into anything, and suddenly the reality of what they were doing struck her. The room was a prison, but at least they more or less knew what was in there – and what wasn't. What if they were spotted outside? She doubted the aliens would be pleased to find their little weapons out and about, roaming the ship.

"Uh, hang on," Aya said, before closing her eyes and activating her power. She darted through the hall, doing a quick scan of things. She didn't see any of her fellow Metas, but she also didn't see anything that might be an angry alien. She popped back to her body and opened her eyes again.

"I think it's safe," she said. That was a lie. They most definitely weren't safe, but at least there wasn't going to be any monsters hiding around the corner waiting to eat them.

Aya was acting strange again, how could she deduce that it was ever remotely safe by just closing her eyes? Camille wasn't the smarter of the two, but she knew her place and the potential threats Aya could represent. She could even be one of those shapeshifting aliens from all she know. Before asking, she cracked her fingers in habit before placing her hand on Aya's shoulder.

"Hey, are you going to tell me your power yet? You've seen mine." she asked, usure as to what she should expect nor how she should even interpret it. Camille was oblivious to the lies she was being fed, so everything favored Aya.

Aya froze when she heard Camille crack her fingers. She knew that tick. Sebastian knew that tick. She jumped when she felt a hand fall on her shoulder, and she was nervous enough that she activated her power as a reflex – only to find herself on the astral plane alone. Camille wasn't touching her skin. She spun and saw the layer of cloth that separated the two girls. Aya rushed back into her body, and forced herself to slowly look at Camille. Hopefully the girl hadn't noticed the second where Aya had been still as a statue.

"It's just this sensory thing I do," she said with fake calm. Don't play your hand too early, don't let down your guard, she told herself. Or maybe that was Sebastian. Either way, they both knew Camille could be a threat when she wanted to be. "Not that impressive, but it lets me know what's around the area and when it's safe." Not technically a lie. "You ready to go?"

To be continued... Because of Potate...

TL;DR: The two girls confront each other about the idea of being in a ship, lies happen, Camille is oblivious to bullshit and they make themselves an escape route. They're about to get out.

Nate barely had time to move out of the way when Eli started pounding at the wall with his fire. "Damn it!" he grumbled, the sound of his complaint smothered by the sound of exploding metal. He ducked out of the way beside a nearby pod as Eli destroyed the wall. Nate wasn't watching the wall though. He was watching Eli. Or rather the obviously distressed look on his face. Eli seemed to be in a mix between panic and rage and was obviously concerned for Aiko's safety. Until now, Nate didn't even know Eli was capable of such emotions. He found found himself reevaluating his opinion on the southerner.

When the wall split apart and Eli tried to pull himself to his feet, Nate stood for a second, inspecting the scene. The silence that followed Eli's outburst was deafening to him now. He watched the other man struggle. On any other occasion, Nate may well have just left Eli to his own business. Maybe even heckled him a little. But now things were different. Nate sprung into motion.

Several duplicates were spawned. A couple leaped through the hole in the wall Eli had created and headed off in search of Aiko and her kidnapper. Two more grabbed hold of Eli and helped him to his feet, one saying "Come on, Opie. No time for lazing around." They swung Eli's arms around their shoulders and were quickly dragging him through the hole in the wall after the others. One last duplicate was behind them but he stopped for a moment as he turned to Damian and asked "You coming?"

Isaac heard a sound behind him and sighed. He turned around and saw a pale woman with an old taste in clothes. Her question was predictable, but somewhat annoying. Isaac recognised that many people believed him to be a doctor, because of his lab-coat. However, he was a scientist. There was a fundamental difference between the two. Isaac normally didn't bother, but there were many things that annoyed him today.

He took a quick glance at the girl's vital points and found that they were healthy. At a glance, he could tell that she wasn't sick, but it her question was understandable. He knew why he was on the ship, he'd figured out the aliens. However, it was clear that the woman did not.

"No, you aren't sick." Isaac said.
It was probably clear at this stage, judging by his scalpel, but it didn't hurt to clarify. He walked up to the pod and held up his knife. He slashed quickly and the pod's door fell apart.
"And I'm not a doctor." He said, turning on his heel and walking away.

Damien

Damien was still recovering from the woman.s attack, as he had been tossed against the wall pretty hard. The fact that Insomnium was also trying to take control while this was happening also meant that he was too busy preventing that disaster to focus on the kidnapping in progress and Craigh's subsequent meltdown. Rising to his feet with a hand gripping his head, he gave it a few good shakes before turning to the other guy . . . Nate, if memory served. "Yeah, that supermodel bitch just rattled my attic a bit, nothing that I can't handle. Lead the way, Master of Cannon Fodder, let you duplicates warn us about any other surprises before we end up getting ambushed again."

Cassandra

Cassandra was heavily confused as tge guy started calling her a princess and stuff, but then smiled when she realized that he was roleplaying. She loved roleolying stuff, as it was one of the few places where shecould let her true interest shine without judgement through her characters. Going with the flow, she stepped out of the pod with what she thought was a regal bearing.

"Why many thanks Sir Durai, you have my eternal thanks for your daring rescue. Now then, do you know of a way to freedom from this strange dungeon, or a plan to attain such?"

@RoflsMazoy

Ian

"Yes, actually, you interrupted a conversation that could've led to an amazing thing, but it's probably for the best. As much as I would like to look for a closet, or at least an empty pod, I think it would be best to know more about our current situation. So thank you and curse you, random stranger, for awakening my sense of reason." Ian walked over to Karen, deciding to try something and see how it went. "Please don't freeze anything important if this upsets you."

That was all the warning he gave before he moved in to kiss Karen, making sure to vibrate the molecules in his mouth enough that he would counter-act her freezing touch. It would be a short, but passionate kiss if Karen allowed it, afterwards, Ian would disengage and let out a breath, which would comeout as a white cloud before him.

Jaden

"Truth be told, I much prefer the dream, it was nice to think everything was bettee for a while." Jaden sighed, thinking about his son for a bit before returning his focus to Isabella. "Anyway, what I need is for you to use your spores on me to alter my Biokinesis a bit. If possible, I want the abilities to mimic more than just how something looks, but how t functions as well. Basically, Bio-assimilation. Think you can handle that, Isabella?"
