"Yes, actually, you interrupted a conversation that could've led to an amazing thing, but it's probably for the best. As much as I would like to look for a closet, or at least an empty pod, I think it would be best to know more about our current situation. So thank you and curse you, random stranger, for awakening my sense of reason." Ian walked over to Karen, deciding to try something and see how it went. "Please don't freeze anything important if this upsets you."

That was all the warning he gave before he moved in to kiss Karen, making sure to vibrate the molecules in his mouth enough that he would counter-act her freezing touch. It would be a short, but passionate kiss if Karen allowed it, afterwards, Ian would disengage and let out a breath, which would comeout as a white cloud before him.

Karen at least liked the speedster. She kissed the vibrating man as best she could. It did not matter at the moment if she had strong feelings for the man but she had feelings for him. He was also able not to have frostbite from contact with her.

"Well Road Runner I hope the mint flavored lipstick I put on before I was abducted by these hooligans is still there." She smiled, "But if say I am cold as Ice I will playfully smack. Sing Ice Ice Baby, I'll freeze you solid." She was purring at Ian.

Ah dammn it. Alto thought, She saw through it already!

His act had been rather ineffectual. There hadn't seemed to be anything wrong with it, the girl most definitely didn't know who he was. Maybe she was psychic or something. Either way, he couldn't just drop the act now, even if he didn't actually have any plans for escaping.

Also, some time or another he was going to have to reveal himself which would be awkward but those were thoughts for another time.

"Of course my lady!" He said, still kneeling. "Knight Dural always has a plan!" He got up a little before continuing. "Please follow me, but at a safe distance. There may be more enemies roaming these halls."

With that, he fully stood up and started to walk down the corridor of pods. Hopefully the girl would actually follow.

Washington DC

As stated earlier, Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi, as well as many members of the remnants of IS, were Metahumans. Thus, they were also prey to the Alien Abductions, abductions that in turn left the IS-controlled zone shattered, without their leader and prime fighters. George Maxwell, being frustrated in his designs as regards International Cooperation and establishing telepathic contact with the Metas, began to establish plans for the remains of the zone, including Raqqa, which had held out because of Al-Baghdadi's Metahuman Abilities, to be retaken by Iraq, Syria, and the Kurds. If he cannot have his 'World Government', then he was going to destroy IS, once and for all.

But it was not just IS he had to deal with; the World Economy would feel the shocks of the Alien Abductions as well, from investor confidence failing, to Metahuman-made gadgets and infrastructure breaking down, and Metahuman businesses and charities trying to function without said Metahumans, with those who did business with those businesses and charities suddenly finding that they could no longer make use of such talent. Right now, such things were distant, very much so, but George knew he had to plan ahead; he had some suggestions to make to anyone who wanted to 'consult' him on the looming financial crisis.

Of course, those who would consult him would be doing so in defiance of the President - he hated that woman now! The world was going to pot and she preferred to electioneer? If she dropped dead...no, he was a loyal soul; best not to think about that. Damnit all, he had nothing to do but put out fires, and he was circumscribed on how to do that! Restricted, forbidden! And all because of petty ambition; was Humanity really that dumb?

Enough of this. He reviewed the Overdrive Project; Overdrive himself was missing, probably killed in the assault on the New Sun Tower or the assault on the International Heroes HQ. For a moment, he thought of an army of combat robots equal to Metas, all with human conciousnesses transferred to them. Then he dismissed it; it wouldn't work. No plan to defend Earth without Metahumans can work.

"Damn them. Damn the Aliens, Damn the President, Damn Abernathy, too, for being the bearer of bad news," George said, his voice heavy with rage as he clenched his fists until they were white. "Damn the lack of good Telepaths on those Alien Ships, Damn the lack of any way to make contact with the Metas, Damn my inability to come up with a good strategy. And finally, Damn me," George finished, tears falling out of his eyes.

"Cedric, I failed you, and we failed each other. We failed to pursue the dream of coexistence that we wanted," he was speaking to nowhere now, half-mad. For some brief moments, this madness extended to thoughts of WMDs and coups and wars and even killing off Humanity because it might be better than letting the Aliens victimize them. But George recovered himself, he was not the Secretary of State for nothing!

"I am not letting myself get beaten by this. No, I can, and will, reach the abducted Metahumans. I can, and will, ensure a world that is not hostile to them when I secure their return. And I will ensure a future where Humanity can flourish, a future where man, woman, and child will live happily," he spoke to nowhere. <Maxwell Sheppard, if you are there, just know, not everything's going to be bad.>

Camille & Aya: Reunions

(Collab, the usual)

Aya, or rather Lynn for Camille, had apparently revealed her powers to a supposed enemy. It didn't really strike Camille as she assumed the little asian girl would actually open up after all Camille had done for them to get out. The child nodded in response to Aya's latest question and marched foward to the darkness that awaited them in the alien ship. Camille kept a steady step despite her condition, an effort keep herself from appearing too weak in a time like this.

Aya followed Camille's lead out of the room. The barely-healed cuts on her foot twinged every time they took a step, but she ignored it. The two walked for a time, too focused on their alien surroundings to say anything. The ship seemed… rather normal, actually. Or at least, as normal as a spaceship could be. The technologies and pipes that lined the walls carried an earthen familiarity about them, and Aya wondered at that. Shouldn't it have been… weirder? She glanced around, having Camille stop every now and then so she could use her powers and scope out the area. There was another odd thing about this ship: it seemed deserted. Where were the other captured metas? The aliens? She supposed she really shouldn't have been questioning a good thing as she didn't actually want to run into any, but still. Eventually the silence became too much for her, and she spoke up.

"Where is everyone?" Her whisper was defening in the echoing halls. "There should be… something, right? I mean, it's good that we haven't run into any aliens and all that, but we need to find the others."

"... Are you really jinxing this? Really?"

Camille responded with sass as elegant as Oprah's behind, arms crossed with her patience running thin. She got quickly annoyed over the fact that there was absolutely nothing, a little action wouldn't hurt, but at the same time Aya was right, aliens were not the best things to encounter, ever. Aya did her thing, Camille gathered strengths while waiting, but evidently they were getting nowhere. However, an idea roamed in Camille's mind, but before actually voicing her concern, she scrutinized her surroundings a bit more, more specifically: The walls.

Aya noticed Camille had stopped after a few steps and turned back to look at her, a question in her eyes. Camille was standing in the hall, looking very hard at a wall. Aya then wanted to smack herself in the head for not having thought of it earlier. The walls. The others were probably closed off in rooms just like they'd been.

"Wait, wait," she said, walking back beside Camille. "Let me just make sure you're not gonna blow a hole in the side of the ship first." Aya jumped to the other side, and looked around a bit. Poking her head through the wall, she was momentarily thrown when her vision was split into two completely different scenes: one side was some storage/electrical room of sorts that Aya couldn't make sense of. But on the other side…

"Oh thank god." She pushed her head to the side so a wall was no longer splitting her vision and gave a laugh of relief. Snapping back to her body, Aya looked back at Camille with a smile. "Ok, right here," she said, touching the wall in the correct spot. "Do you have enough in you to break this part?"

Cocking an eyebrow, Camille didn't quite get why her partner in arms was so happy about after checking what was on the other side. Well, at least it wouldn't be aliens if she actually desired entry through the wall. Rolling her eyes, Camille almost mocked the final question she was asked, she'd be convinced she was far stronger than any of the looneys she'd meet around here. She approached the wall they were both analyzing and simply poked it. The wall slowly turned to nothingness, portion by portion, the layers of metal fell and revealed a group inside. Camille would be both pleased to see that people were actually here, but burdened with a new set worry as she realized these people would be the least welcoming of all toward her anyway. She took a step back, afraid of the inevitable outcome.

Ignoring the pain in her foot (and Camille), Aya hurried through the newly-made door.

"Jake!" she called out, beaming. And there was Owlman and some… other person too. Some dark part of her was a tad annoyed to see Owlman alive, but the rest of her was too relieved to worry about that. They'd found someone.

MIKE felt the somewhat hard wind of the now makeshift hole blasting his face,A women who was speaking to the dog like they knew each other wanting him to escape with her."I don't know these people,Who are they?Have you met them before?" He asked the others who only gave him very vague responds."No help you are..." He said rubbing the brigde of his nose mostly at the annoyance of the others that would not give him the answers that he needs."You women where are we?Do you know who put us here?" MIKE said rather calmly for someone that was trapped in a dream. The only thing he remebered was Dean and Jenni fighting and then darkness then right after a bright flash of light.

[i}"My head hurts...i need a pain pill or something..[i/] He thought to himself that the othes agreed that he should stay calm and get out of her or while they are leaving find out who did this and kill them slowly."Like that will help" He murmured taking in his surroudings,So far form what he sees is three women one of them being a cartoon two men one being a combination of a brother and sister and finally a dog with meta powers.[i]"Right it does sound like a joke doesn't it...but not a very funny one..."[i\] He thought now standing up streching his legs and getting the kinks out of his somewhat tired feeling body.

The older looking man knew he would need all the help he could get if he wanted to get out alive and in one piece.Even though in his own mind he could escape by himself but he would have to play it safe for now and escape with the others.

Still trying to get a hang of her surroundings from exiting the tube, Light was brought out of her daze by a crash coming from the edge of the room as one of the doors was busted open. And the one who had busted down the door... "I remmeber you! I am NOT in the mood right now little girl. First an annoying dream that I find out was some sort of alien mind thing and now you." Light said in a huff, getting in a violent looking ready stance, fingers outstreched like claws. After a couple moments she took a bit more time to look around and saw a dog, Owlman, and someone she didn't recognize.

"How did we get abducted by aliens anyway?" Light asked everyone, calming down a little bit but still very angry. "Last thing I remember was watching some documentary on WW2." she continued, scratching her head but stll glancing daggers at camille.

What was that strange sound? It reminded Jake of fizzing, bubbling soda. Oh how he loved soda. He would take every chance he could to get his paws on it, stealing it from anyone who wasn't paying attention. Sometimes even those who were. Of course, after drinking it, he had even more energy than he usually did. And that was saying something. Maybe he should lay off the stuff. But it was so good...

The dog raised an ear at the sound, turning when he pinpointed the location. That was not soda. The wall was dissolving. That was pretty weird. But strangely not the weirdest thing he had ever seen. Jake grumbled at the dissolving wall as several chunks fell off and clattered to the ground when their supports disappeared. The rumbling growl only grew louder when the cause of the melting wall appeared on the other side of the newly formed wall.

The brat.

Jake knew she worked for the enemy. Was she behind this? Was she why he was here? He was all set to pounce at Camille when a second person appeared. Jake instantly stopped growling at the sight of Aya. He went from growling, angry beast to happy, friendly puppy in a second. As Aya stepped through into the room, Jake bounded forward. He barged into the legs of a man he had never seen before, simply because he was in the way. Jake rarely went through obstructions. He went through them. He was quickly in front of Aya but then he surprised even himself when he lifted his forepaws into the air in an attempt to hug Aya, only resulting in tackling her to the ground. He pressed his face against his friends in his best attempt at a hug. It was a very uncharacteristic move for the normally grumpy dog but he was relieved that one of the few people in this world he actually liked was alright. He quickly felt awkward about the entire situation though and picked himself up from on top of the girl. He still stood over her as she lay on the ground and looked down at her as he said internally "Hey girl"

Unlike Jake, Owlman did not have a touching reunion to mollify him. As the girl and her dog had their heartfelt reunion he stepped past them into the gab between the rooms, putting himself between them and the tiny Undergrounder.

It must be pointed out, at this point, that he was not wearing his trademark suit and hat. He wasn't even wearing one of the cool space jumpsuits. He had fancy space pants on, but even alien technology had not been able to fashion a proper top for him. Add to this that he was still soaked in the fluid from the mindgames chamber, his black feathers flattened down and clinging to his body where you couldn't see through the pasty white skin underneath. He looked like fresh washed hell and he stared at Camille. He didn't do anything else. His talons rested at his sides. He didn't utter a single sound.

But he stared.

The beginning of Everything

Their plans were quickly falling apart. The simulation was meant to keep the metas under wraps for at least another month so that they could meet the main fleet and take them to the nearest loyal star system. The metas barely even lasted a day in the system and now they were running rampart around the ship, beginning to figure out how to break the walls down and unite with their allies. She was less than pleased but she had accomplished her mission - she had the girl in her custody and no one was going to stop her. Except for herself. She was going to stop herself from boarding a jumpship and taking Aiko to the Godking. A difficult feat but she could manage it.

"Silence, little one. The storm has yet to even begin." She liked to think that she had planned this from the beginning but in truth, she was just taking things as they came. A leaf on the wind.

Eventually, she drew Aiko to a large crossroad in the passages. It branched off in several different directions but she didn't concern herself with them. Stepping into the centre of the circle, the room seemed to momentarily expand before contracting once more, becoming a simple room that was lowering itself down into the bowels of the behemoth. Their descent eventually stopped as the wall parted to reveal another long hallway. This one was a lot more alien in nature as the walls seemed to pulse with a deep blue energy like some great vein of the gigantic ship.

"Cover your eyes. You are still innocent, I presume." She whispered to Aiko as they drew close to the end of the hallway. The door at the end seemed resistant to her but egentually, she forced her will upon it enough for it to scamper away, leaving a gap. The room itself was a large chamber but the walls themselves seemed to be screens, providing a three hundred and sixty degree view of the ship's surroundings. In the middle, the command console lay with half a dozen hulking beasts manning it.

They were visibly tall and humanoid in some aspects but radically different in others. Although darkness and armour veiled them, their curved, almost blade-like legs were visible. Above them were a small torso but clawed arms that seemed capable of hinging unhinging themselves to extend the bladed limbs. They were hideous in most regards but their eyes shone with a fiery intelligence. As soon as she entered, they clicked in warning, two of the closer ones moving into fighting stances.

Leaning down, she pulled Aiko into a tight embrace so that her eyes were covered as she began to hum a gentle lullaby. It was incapable of covering their cries of pain which ceased within a few seconds.

Once they were dead, she took control in the command centre and instantly released the metas from their cages. Her reasoning remained hidden but to Elijah Craigh (and ultimately, all of the other LA metas) she lit up a pathway directing them to her location. All she had to do now was wait.

Cindy Wade

It was Cindy's pod that Camille corrupted but it still took its time to finally fall apart and release her from the deep sleep that had enveloped her. Lights were the first things that greeted her eyes and she briefly wondered if she was dead before she felt the kicking of Eden in her stomach. Her pregnancy was developing at a worrying rate and she was clearly in some discomfort as she dragged herself from her pod.

Eden wasn't her only worry in that moment, however. She had remembered being with Ruby before, then there was bright lights, then a beach and now she was here. It was all terribly confusing but she was certain that this was reality and she was no longer dreaming. Whatever it was, she needed to find someone else; someone who could help her. She worried for the small baby she was carrying and momentarily extended a hand over her bulging stomach before sighing and turning towards the exit, convinced that she needed to leave the safe proximity of the room.

Leaving through the dissolved wall, she followed the line of lights that seemed to lead on forever before she finally came across where the main group was gathered. Unwilling to intervene, she stood on the outside of the group, eyes darting around for any danger and a hand protectively clasped over her stomach.

"Right-oooo, Mr. Voice-in-my-Head, Right-oooo." Max said, ignoring how he looked like he was talking to himself. "I'll get right on with following whatever script you have planned out, just as soon as you open this fucking door!"

He kicked at the thing twice as the others in the room groaned, still out of it from the sim. What luck was this. What was the point of getting special instructions if he couldn't do anything with them? Seriously, what was the point of giving them to him if there was no way to get out? There were no buttons on this door. No switch. No nob. Not even a window. He patted all over the thing, but there was nothing there.

But then the door suddenly sprung open, so fast he had to step back, and reveled a long metal hallway and...voices? Slowly, he peaked out the newly opened doorway to see who was in this hallway. When he saw, he waved at the others in the room. "Stay here. Don't let anyone in this room." He whispered, before walking out.

Elijah Craige. Speak of the devil and he appears. Being carried down the hall by Nate Hunter. The independent contractors Cedric had brought on right before...before everything had fallen down. There was a niggling suspicion in the back of his mind over that, but since there really wasn't a way to be sure... "Hey, Craigh. Hunter. Hold up. What are you- hooooly shit." He said, passing by the hole melted in the wall. Yeah, any guy who could do something like that you wanted either really close or really far away in this situation. "Max Sheppard. Reformist. The guy working the front, that's me. You probably passed me on the way into the building. I don't know if you were planning to follow these lights to wherever, but I've got a list of names in my head and he's on it." He explained, tapping the side of his head. "Also we're apparently in space or some bullshit. Point is, I don't think you should carry him that way if that's what someone wants."

Cindy heard a growling. Above her pod was a thing of a female shape. IT looked as if somebody had crossed a woman and a tiger.
"Where am I?" she hissed and growled at Cindy and the others. Thy could see her suit broke and torn by her sinister claws at the end of her nails. The stunned silence made her angry.

The American Envoy to the UN was visibly irritated. Not only had his predecessor been one of the abducted, but the other members of the UN had preferred to cast aspersions upon said predecesor and each other than doing what was right and sensible - same for his own President; if George Maxwell was right, she had been obstructing any attempts to call a General UN Meeting earlier; Abernathy wasn't much better; he had talked to George and persuaded him to scrap plans for a World Government...when that was exactly what was needed! Addressing the bunch of loons, losers, and idiots that made up the rest of the Security Council, the Envoy spoke, hiding his feelings of contempt:

"Fellow members of this esteemed body, a crisis has come upon us today. While we have diverse feelings on the subject of...Metahumans, the incursion, this incursion by an 'other' -" he was forbidden to use the 'A Word', courtesy of the President, "- this incursion by the 'other', which has sundered families, gutted commerce, and deprived Humanity of its honor and self-respect, is an affront to all of us, a slap in the face to every nation on Earth. Our security has been proven for naught, our weapons, impotent. But what 'the other' cannot take away from us is the Human Spirit, the Human Spirit of cooperation that we hope is rekindled by the tragedies this past day." The American Envoy felt like vomiting and spitting at the rest.

"And so, I call for closer cooperation, for the casting aside of old feuds, for the combining of our strengths and defenses -"

"Cooperation!" The Russian envoy shouted from his spot at the desk. "Right now may country beleives the attack was conducted by American forces on our territory. Even if it is aliens the US Government must have had a hand it. We have seen time after time the US Government playing inocent in times of crisis it caused. My nation believes this is no different. In fact we beleive your president has a hand in it and you are trying to convince us that under YOUR leadership we can fight this. The Russian Federation will never follow the US government's orders since the question we would want to know is when will this end. We like being able to control our military forces." the Ambassador ended by pounding his hand on the table.

"You're grasping at straws, sir," the representative from Great Britain spoke up. She leaned back in her seat, cold voice cutting through the room. "You're making a very grave accusation at one of the most powerful countries in the world based on nothing but paranoia and a hunch." She raised an eyebrow and looked to the American envoy. "Though our dear 'comrade' does have a point. The position of His Majesty's Government is that further information is required. Great Britain calls for further investigation into each and every power represented at this table. We may start strategizing to face these otherworldly assailants once we are certain we have nothing to worry about in our own homes, first."

"It appears old feuds are immune to even the greatest of threats, my friend." the French amabssador calmly remarked, targeting of course his American colleague. "Before we proceed to any form of decision, I would like the Council to take notice of a few facts our intelligence has gathered prior to the invasion. Mister Ambassador." he addresed the American once more. "Is it true that your entire Reformist and military force was unable to defend the Reformist Headquarters in Los Angeles a week back? Our satellite coverage created by our collaborative effort to maintain security managed to identify only one threat. How may we trust you to lead this effort, mister ambassador, if a single Metahuman threat was too much for your military organization to handle? I would also like to add the lack of communication regarding your Government concerning specific High Profile individuals identified in your country." the envoy kept running his mouth, like the righteous Frenchie he was.

The Chinese repersentative had been sitting ever so properly, reserved and respectable but what he said next was not really either of those things, "Honestly while we are questioning eachother it would be fair to keep in mind the origin counrty of many alien themed rumors, whether it resulted from the 'over active' imaginations of the populace or not. America failed to find or notify anyone of another presence in our galaxy before the attack; the call did not come early enough for anyone to react but just early enough for America to seem innocent. Judging from past experiences America withholding infomation should not suprise anyone in this room. So what we must be asking ourselves is whether we are here because an alien threat descended from the sky and took every single Meta from under our noses or because America wants to secure a deal with the aliens to come out on top of this situation. Ask yourselves, is it really that unlikely for that country to betray us all for its own benefit?" The representative still had the reseved and respectful look, however contradictory his words were to that image.

"True..." spoke the American Representative, "we have withheld knowledge of 'the other', so as not to cause a panic, and yes, we have kept other secrets, especially as regards our Metahuman Projects. However, all those are things that any other nation would have done in our place. Not to mention that we have not prevented other countries, or even private organizations, from extrapolating the...'Non-Earth' origins of the Metahuman Virus, that, and we have leaked various bits of information about 'the Third Party' to the other intelligence agencies of the world. Besides, it's not as if Russia and China didn't have their own plans and defenses against the 'Third Party', defenses which also failed." The American Representative then cleared his throat.

"Which brings us to my point," he said, "if full military cooperation is unpalatable, what about an extension of the current international scientific programs and projects that led to the building of the International Space Station? And by that, I mean that if we cannot cooperate militarily, we should at least join together to develop a functioning Hyperdrive, or other means of FTL, which we know is possible from Metahuman powers alone. Other, not strictly military fields I would suggest would be cryogenics, hydroponics, and the research of new alloys that can withstand the ravages of space." The American Representative was hinting at the building of colony ships.

"Forgive me if I'm mistaken, ambassador," the British representative said. "But it sounds as though you intend for us to expand out into space after we've just faced an unprovoked attack from unknown assailants. We have no information on this outside party except that they are capable of producing advanced technologies, including but not limited to advanced space travel and granting superhuman abilities to an alien species in a stable and relatively predictable manner." She didn't flinch over the word that everyone else seemed to be dancing around. The British envoy was many things, but coy was not one of them. "And now you want to goad them on by building what could easily be perceived as an army ready for retaliation. I dare say we were fortunate this time that there was no direct casualties or damages caused by this event, and only a relative handful of our people were taken. What we should be focusing on is taking care of our own, and making sure our global economy isn't in shambles. We're in no state to be doing anything until we've picked ourselves up from this blow, let alone challenging something that obviously far outmatches us."

"True," spoke the American Ambassador, "but at the same time, do you wish for us to be sitting ducks, allowing Alien Fleet after Alien Fleet to come here and use us as a farm, taking away our babies next time they come? No, we need to make sure that somewhere out there, there would at least be a colony - no, a community - of free humans that would live without the shadow of such...indignity. I'm talking not about retaliation, but rather about covert expansion, the planting of hidden colonies and communities. Space is large, even for advanced civilizations, and we might find a refuge for some of us out there."

"Who is to say they will return for such purposes? The Russian Federation may have knowledge of Aliens but we have no deals with them like the United States government. In fact all we have are trinkets that cannot be used properly." The ambassador lean forward, "Our nation has cooperated with the US Space program for nearly thirty years now and this idea of colonies is wonderful but you forget the crucial fact that such colonies require the home planet to exisist. Our British and French members know without the strong control of Imperialism the colonist would be attacked by locals and slaughted. Then there are the problems of colonization. What planets and moons do you colonize? How much will it cost? Can we actually do it? Then there are so many other questions scientist aren't certain of. Also mister Ambassador I doubt the current Congress would agree to such a daring plan." The ambassador looked smug.

"True," spoke the Ambassador, "although what I was betting on was that we'd find planets that are uninhabited, even at this stage. But, still, at the very least, even if we were just to follow what the British Representative says, a measure of cooperation, or at least non-feuding, would be not unwise."

"An outrageous proposition! " The French man shouted." Both the American and Russian envoy tell us they knew of the alien, yet no one disclosed this information!? " the Frenchman spoke with pure self-righteousness. "Yes, let us join our respective people together and inside the alien powers above to war. You Americans, attempting to answer a problem that's not even there. Who's to say they even come back? Who's to say this isn't a good thing? The Meta Human problem is no more. No more weapons of mass destruction walking our streets wait for event he slightest excuse to destroy millions of dollars of buildings, cars and lives. Let them take the Metas and be grateful they didn't take more!" the Frenchman shouted from his feet harrumping.

This was met by a stony glare from the American Ambasssador, before he cleared his throat again and spoke:

"I will be the first to admit to hypocrisy, to admit to the flaws in our approach to Sapient Rights and Sapient Well-Being. I may lose my position for this, but I outright proclaim that my nation, America, has failed to spread its professed virtues of Freedom and Equality. I do not care for the firestorm my words will spark at home, because they will like what I say next:" he then looked around at everyone around him.

"But are you, who condemn us, any better?! Are you, who call us out for tearing up our Bill of Rights and concepts of Human Dignity not doing the same things we did? Look at you, urging inaction, urging 'practicality'," he made a pantomime of a spit, "and even suggesting that fellow Sapient Beings, related to us and descended from us, should be left to their fate as slaves in another land. You dare condemn the way we treat our citizens and the citizens of other countries, while advising acitve malice and neglect of your own citizens?" He then pulled out the UN's Decleration on Human Rights from his pocket. "Look at this! Is not this the same document that we paid respect to, that we have pleged to serve?! What purpose is this organization for if it cannot protect several million people?"

"What purpose is there in an organization that has openly declared its interest towards partisan ends, which has cast aside even the pretense of objectivity and impartiality? What purpose is there in an organization whose first agenda is to give in to fear? We. Are. The. UN! We are Humanity's flawed, yet well-intentioned effort to unite to prevent a tragedy like World War II from happening! Stop looking at your facts and figures and cold judgements and hot prejudices, and look at the human cost! Families have been sundered, fear of the unknown has gripped the hearts of our people, our belief that we - both Humanity and Metahumanity - are the pinnacle of civilization has been dashed to the rocks! We have embraced the idea that we are powerless, and that is in less than a few days!"

"Look around you; the UN has already been dealing with the reputation of being lame-ducks, and corrupt, and ineffective. Look around you, protesters, people who have lost families and friends, are surrounding the building. The world doubts us, and so do I, as we fail to present a united front!" He then faced the French Ambassador.

"Do we really need one more failure on top of a list of other failures? Can we not even strive for even an incomplete victory? Can we not continue on, hoping that luck, fate, the Divine, or whatever you choose to believe in would turn things around? Humanity has never won anything by ceasing to strive, by giving up. Better to shine brightly, and face death with dignity, than live as cowards!"

"I have never embraced a certain stereotype of your people; you know which one. To me, the French, historically, were the bravest people on Earth; they were just unlucky to spend so many men in their wars. But this isn't bravery, this isn't even caution. To be glad of a disaster that happened to one's own country, a disaster that happened to all countries? This is sugarcoating a surrender."

"So, now," spoke the American Ambassador, "I call for a vote. Joint research into Hyperdrive, Cold Sleep, Hydroponics, and Colony Ships, with the fruits of any findings spread equally throughout all Security Council members. Who will join me?"

In the end, no one vetoed the measure.

((Sorry for giving myself an Auto-Win; it's just that everyone else left off working on the collab.))

Let out a few grunts of pain, Eli made his way to this feet with the help of Nate. "I knew not killing you would pay off someday. Thank you Nathon." Eli didn't look at his current savior, nor did he smile. His words were none the less heart felt. Things however did come to a stop when the creepy glow of the hallway became a runway almost begging people where to go. "Well... That can't be a trap, I mean that just screams invite doesn't it Shitdick? I think it would be rude to not take advantage of it."

It was then Elijah heard something he could have done without. Max that little queer from the front desk was talking to him. Elijah hated it when people he never met acted like they knew one another. On top of that what he said all of no sense at all. What fucking name? Who is he? "I have no idea what you are talking and I feel like I a stupider for listening to your shit. If I had the time to do so, I'd kick you in the nuts for stalling me. Legion please get me to Aiko, whom I assume is at the end of the lights." With that Legion thankfully obliged him and they were off again. Eli however was not without a heart."Queer Bait if your coming come on. I aint got time to wait around."

A few minutes later they were where at the end of the lights. To this point each and every doorway had been open. This path had been way to easy to fit anyones comfort. Thankfully, unlike last time, Eli was ready for just about anything. In the silent walk over Elijah had gotten his edge back. He was such an asshole and shitty person to be around like this. All he could was try to temper the anger. He was gonna get Aiko back and with any happy turn Elijah Craigh was gonna beat that bitches face in. He could already see her face and skull broken. How he would enjoy ever second of it.

"Well boys, I think we have hit pay dirt. If I remember my Momma's Charmin lessons, the right thing to do here is knock. So if you will allow me to do so." Eli hobbled forward, extremely limited in his movement. With an extremely concentrated blast, Eli snapped his fingers. What came forth could only be called massive and impressive as Eli not only sent the blast into the door, but he also concentrated it to a point where there was almost no rebound from the attack. It was one of the first true precision attacks he had ever done. Yet, what he was gonna do next was anything but precise. He was about to brutalize anyone that got in his way between him an Aiko.

When the door blew open, Eli hobbled his way through. One foot steady, the other was going to give out any moment. With every step he took it was only an inevitability. A grimace of pain accompanied each step. It wasn't until he spoke that there was much sign of an ability or want to fight. "LUCY, I'm HOME!! YOU GOT SOME SPLAINING TO DO!!" Elijah roared, still clutching his side where the metal had pierced his flesh.

Camille Mahroug - Oops

She had done it now, Camille was in the lion's den, a lamb for the slaughter, she could recognize at least three confirmed enemies before her she had confronted in the past, notably the cartoon celebrity who nearly decommissioned the small underground agent. Camille swallowed her pride and took another step back with the approach of the owlman who, despite not releasing any form of hostility, kept a unnerving fixation on Camille. It was more than logical that he'd be on his toes concerning her, but she saw it as adversity, especially with all of his backup. With her condition and the fact that one of them was a complete mystery to her made it obvious she had no hopes of gaining the upper hand here.

She took another step back, hands over her hips as if she was ready to pull out a gun from an imaginary holster. Her gaze clashed with the owl's concealed eyes, ready to kill as many as possible to survive. She was like a trapped animal, rationality becoming less and less a relevant factor in this circumstance. She continue to walk backwards at a really slow pace, only to bump in Cindy Wade's belly as the woman inquired about her current location. Camille's body being evidently petite enough to not actually harm the woman. Camille jumped in surprised and quickly turned around, only to recognize a familiar face.

"You... Cindy."

She paused, delivering the same glare she returned to owlman right at Cindy. She was not happy to see an apparent traitor around and further accumulated Camille's insecurity in this particular position. A stressed and cornered girl like this can be capable of many nasty things, and Cindy may as well be a victim of that wrath if she doesn't select her response carefully. With all that, little to no attention was brought to the roaring occurring nearby, after all it couldn't be worse than what she was confronted to as of now.

Boogeyman

Within a hidden area of the ship, placed remotely from the general containment area, specialized cells of massive sizes held rather peculiar subjects that were submitted to the same simulation as the rest. One of them would be the now famous Solf Patel. The cell was sealed and nothing could possibly give off the identity of the host, but the ridiculous amounts of locks and security meant a lot. When the monster awoke as everybody else, it noticed its cloak had not been taken off, actually nothing of it changed unlike the other abductees. It didn't matter too much as it didn't have to cloak itself out of scrap.

It didn't react immediately to being in a giant aquarium of strange, blue liquid, mostly because it didn't feel any danger nor harm to it health. But enough was enough, as bubbles ran out of its steaming body, the vectors from the monsters annihilated the sealed door before it, knocking it off clean as the liquid spilled all over the place. Patel casually walked out, acknowledging its surroundings only to conclude it had no idea where it was. Angered, it screeched a terrifying sound that echo'd through the ship. Unrecognizable by even its colleagues, it simply brought a wave of dread and fear to all those hearing it. And thus, it wandered through the corridors, casually walking at a slow pace, searching for a possible exit or at least a familiar face. It would, however, kill off anyone it deemed a threat without a second thought.

Vince

Vince wouldn't have minded if they had gone off and fucked each other, these two seemed to be worthless whether they were here or not.
"Thank god you can still find time to worry about getting laid on an alien spaceship, that's real maturity right there." He walked past them, there weren't enough hours in the day to deal with those desperate metas. He felt a twinge of worry, there were a lot of Metas on the ship, even with his limited meta sensing abilities he could feel an over load waiting to happen. This was going to be a long trip.
@Mass City
Isabella

She tried not to laugh at Jaden's request, but not very hard because she did anyway, a hollow laugh that didn't seem right. "If I couldn't do that, what kind of meta would I be. This is my life work, piece of cake." Her unwavering smile reflected none of her lies, she could do it but nothing was ever simple when it came to her powers. Though with a little concentration she had the spores that she wanted and used them on Jaden, "There you are darling, have fun with it but don't get to crazy... Well you know what happens."

The Continuation of the Beginning of Everything

Frowning, she slowly leaned down and wiped at Aiko's cheeks with a dab of her fingers. Lifting the watery substance to her eyes, she examined it momentarily before releasing a small noise betraying her interest. Whatever it was, she didn't understand but she would bet that it had something to do with Aiko's sadness. A curious find indeed.

Shaking herself, she knelt down and pulled the small girl into a warm hug - she understood that human gesture. "It must be done, little one. Their thoughts of self-perseverance would have been unproductive. They would have led us right to the proper ending when this whole thing needed a little splash of chaos." Still smiling gently, she rose and moved to the control panel. She seemed able to decipher the symbols it displayed and more importantly, she knew how to use it. Her changes were subtle at first as she turned off the main engines, halting their acceleration.

It was then that Elijah Craigh and the gang elected to burst in. Impressive." She murmured, raising a small eyebrow at him as she moved away from the control system. "Your confidence does little to cover the severity of your condition, Eli. Walk much longer and you'll be out for an awfully long time." Yawning, she allowed Aiko to stumble towards Elijah before she sat back, waiting for something to happen that shown no signs of showing.

"If you wish, I could look at the wound? It would disappear with my talented fingers..." Smirking, she sat back and simply watched, not looking like she had any intentions to fight him. She was very clearly stalling but it was difficult to tell why exactly she was doing it. Eventually, after a few seconds she leapt to her feet and stared in one particular direction at the screens. My sense of timing really must be goin-"

Alarms suddenly began to ring as a hologram lit up in the centre of the room, displaying a 3D mapping of the area and the layout of each ship. Suddenly, multiple amounts of blips began darting onto the screen at an incredibly speed. Instantly they slowed on the screen but she could tell they were being ambushed - she expected it. "I advise you watch and not do anything stupid for a few minutes." Ships suddenly began to join the collection of ships guarding them.

They didn't seem different before suddenly, what appeared to literally be a massive creature, burst from the ranks of the ambushing army and blasted into one of their ally ships, tearing it to pieces. Others joined it. "Angarion Fleet Destroyers. Creatures bred in water-based planets to tear ships to pieces."

Thankfully, the creatures were much too small for their hulking ship but that didn't stop all the other ships suddenly turning their attention on them. Explosions suddenly rocked the ship and she hissed. "If you and your motley band wish to live, Mr Craigh, I advise you put aside petty squabbles and help me." Turning, she regarded Elijah with an annoyed expression and despite her powers, she did look rather enticing.

Cindy Wade

Cindy didn't know how to react so she reacted in the most human way possible. First of all, she screamed both at the screams that reverberated throughout the corridors then at the beast-thing above her that had repeated her question then finally at the sudden rocking of the ship under them. Whatever it was, she didn't feel like she was in anyway safe. Thankfully, she did recognise one of the others who spoke. "You were with Miss Lancaster, right? Camille, is it? Can you show me where I can find her?"

Ruby had elaborated on what Isabella had planned for her but in all honesty, Isabella was much more preferable than the current concoction of metas she was facing. Shaking her head, she once again wrapped her arm around her bulging stomach, taking a step away from the beast and ultimately towards Camille. "Please... I need your help."

Max whistled as he followed Eli into the room. "This is all really great. Tell me something, do you do your own special effects or did you outsource them?"

Of course he'd followed Eli, if only because the man had insulted him. That and curiosity over what could get noted hardcore badass Elijah Craig so worked up. There is was, too, terrified and crying and stumbling toward Elijah. His face instantly hardened. Even if the kid was in on the ruse, using a child for something like this was sick.

"Like I was trying to explain before you rushed off," He said, never taking his eyes off the woman. "Somebody contacted me, probably that bitches boss, and fed me a bunch off bullshit about spaceships and alien abductions. Laid out a whole scenario for us to follow, and mentioned you specifically as someone I should find. Wanted you to be a part of some good old fashion, Red Dawn style terrorist freedom fighters against...what's the stupid name you picked for your aliens? Angarion empire? I'd have thrown a X in there personally. Nothing screams "Aliens" like a X."

"Point is, we're getting jerked around just like on the beach and can't trust anything Princess Xenu here tells us." He looks at the woman. "So just cut the shit and do whatever it is you're going to. You're not getting any useable data now that someone's figured out your ruse."

Aya's happy reunion with Jake was cut short when an unfamiliar voice rang through the room. Looking up, she saw Owlman standing between herself and Camille. Oh… right. That was gonna be a problem. She scurried to her feet, but flinched when she heard a growling sound, and that same voice from before screaming. Aya looked around Owlman to see a heavily pregnant woman some sort of… tiger… person. Everyone wore the same outfit as Aya, meaning that they were probably all captives too.

The tension was thick in the air, claws drawn and hackles raised. Aya nearly shivered at the anticipation. God, it'd been too long since she'd had some fun. That woman's scream was a nice little appetizer, but now–

No no nononono! Aya Squeezed her eyes shut and brought a hand to her temple, as though she could massage the invading thoughts away. Invading. Aliens. Right.

Aya hurried from behind Owlman, moving so she was visible to all parties… though careful not to put herself between anyone in case of a crossfire.

"Hey," she said to the pregnant woman, "it was Cindy, right?". It took Aya a moment to put the clues together – so this was the woman carrying Eden. She turned to address the tiger woman then. "Ok, so we have Cindy, Camille, Jake, Owlman, Light, and Miss…Tiger," she said, gesturing to each individual. "And, I… don't know who you are," she said, looking at MIKE. "We're all friends now, which means we're not gonna break out into a massive fight. Agreed? Cool." Aya ran a hand through her hair as she thought how to address the next issue. "We… kinda got abducted by aliens. So… yeah. There's that. They want to use us for some war thing, and I'm pretty sure no one here wants to do that." Actually, when Aya thought about that, it sounded kinda fun. She wondered what alien blood looked like – nope nope nope. "So if anyone's got any plans for how to address this problem, which is bigger than any personal problems we have with each other, that'd be great." Wow, she really hoped that tiger lady was more rational than she looked. Then again, this was a pretty irrational situation. Aya supposed she could forgive her if she decided to rip someone's throat out. Oh wait.

Light still shot dagger glances at Camilie as Aya, someone Light wasn't super familliar with, spoke sense to everyone. "Fine, I'll take out my anger on the aliens who kidnapped us." Light said, mashing her fingers together as if she were sharpening claws, her fingers looking very claw like at the moment. "Just expect something from an M rated film if they turn out to be hostile. That beach thing REALLY ticked me off. " she continued, slashing a nearby wall, leaving large gash marks.

Light wasn't too interested at all in the supposed pregnet lady with the group, being a bit too angry to really care about someone she hasn't met, although she wouldn't lash out at her or anything. Getting in a more ready stance, Light said. "So... Am I point or what?"

"How do we kill those that caged us?" asked the Tiger woman.

Eli clutched Aiko tightly but it was all without any look of relief. The pain was still horrible, but like hunger and anything else that happens in the human body, pain was little more than message that could be ignored. "You think a little pain is gonna stop me, you aint been paying too much attention have you girl?"

When the alarms went off Eli couldn't help but roll his eyes. More shit was going on? When the fuck was this going to stop?

After listen to what the Piss Wreaking, Shit Stanking Bitch and Queer Bait Max had to say Eli didn't know who he wanted to hit first. On one hand Queer Bait was just spouting off useless nonsense. Does he ever have anything useful to say? Outside of not being able to follow whatever he it was that he said, Eli couldn't help but getting the feeling that it was pure conjecture and ramblings. That lead him Piss Wreaking, Shit Stanking Bitch, first and last of her name, if Eli could help it.

"Quite Queer Bait, the grown ups are talking." Elijah said to Max before turning his attention else where.

"Help to do what? If that really is space I can't do shit. Pass that I'd rather be dead than to help you at all. You, who would steal a young child.
I'd wish a pox on you but why do that when I can just melt half of your face? So I guess the only options you have is explain or we can all die here together. Ask anyone, I am totally that kinda asshole."

Nate just nodded his head. "He really is, we only keep him around for baking potatoes and the occasional forging of tweezers.
