"Says the one that is aiming at me with his revolver." Allison joked as she lowered her weapon as well. She entered the room and listened to the generals. "Yeeeaah about that. I told Katya to regroup with the other teams and come here asap. I was closest to the base so I moved ahead and I haven't heard from her since then. Soooo, yeah, it's only me at the moment."

Eod's body let off sparks as the bullets slammed into his chest, denting, bending his torso plates...but he wasn't down for the count. Quickly, as the vampire's began to leave, Eod leaps back into action.
"Soldier, let us stop those who'd kill the innocent. We must become the heroes the world needs." Eods says, staying stoic, and hero like. Rushing out after the vampires, Eod readied a pistol, and his other hand let off at first a warm glow, before a gout of flame bursts forth, licking the heels of the vampires, or...something of that sorts. Eod would squease off a few shots, aiming to shoot both vampires with the silver bullets within his revolver's chambers, 3 after Bediver, and 3 after Mithias.
"Face me, murderers, or flee like the craven welps you are!" Eod shouts, quoting a comic character who was chasing down several evil doers.

The world was in chaos.

In every country, vampires rose against humans, facing the local military forces. Raw physical strength was matched against technology and numbers, in a bloodbath that exceeded any previous World War. Weapons of mass destruction became useless against an opponent who was everywhere, great hordes of vampires facing off against militaries not equipped to deal with the supernatural threat. Disorder, confusion and fear were the greatest weapons of these demons, as they pillaged and raped. Ruin and death spread, as those vampires who would choose to remain neutral were dragged into the conflict, those countries with high vampire populations nearly instantly collapsing into a state of broken anarchy.

In America, SOLDIER had assimilated the American military using their special equipment and training to better deal with the newly arisen vampire threat. However, they were hard pressed. The presence of the Oldbloods was the greatest here, and beyond their personal might their presence rallied the vampiric hordes into a far more organized movement. Packs of vampires struck vulnerable locations, taking down power, communications, and transport. They intercepted backup, and took down a variety of SOLDIER outposts with their coordinated assault. The humans were hard pressed to hold their own.

Of course, in their ignorance the fools had angered a slumbering giant.

"The world is covered in filth and corruption. The fallen devour the meek, demons rule over the hordes of undead. This world has become an impute place, a place of sacrilege." Kami no Kage smiled beneath his mask, as he spoke into the built-in communications device. "We shall purge it all with fire."

Across the country, the Purge mobilized, revealing their newest and most effective anti-vampire weapon: the Purging Shrine. A large quadripedal tank-like walker, heavily armoured and capable of moving over any form of terrain. It's ever inch covered in slight crucifix-shaped indentations, making climbing it nearly impossible for unprotected vampire hands. Atop of it's large, hulking body sat a large flamethrower that fired in four directions. Friendly fire was not an issue for the purge. The projectile consisted of modified napalm, enhanced with magnesium. The whole mixture was blessed, giving it the same properties as holy water for most vampires. It's armour was too thick to be pierced by even the strongest vampires, it's weapons capable of mass anti-infantry destruction.

The Sacred Hosts moved across the land, emerging from nowhere to purge entire cities at a time. Hordes of vampires struck by a Host were decimated, unable to fight back. Air support clouded the entire area in Holy Vapour, burning the vampire's eyes out and preventing their escape. Using ultraviolet sensors and their willingness to indiscriminate destruction, the hosts were at a massive advantage in the mists, and even the strongest of vampires were weakened to the point where they could be dealt with by the thick clouds. Within 24 hours of the Purge's initial attack, thousands of vampires had been annihilated across the country, their relentless attacks put to a sudden halt by the Purge.

Of course, such a goal could not be achieved without a few sacrifices. Any humans that remained in vampire-infested territory were instantly annihilated. Those villages and towns that had been conquered by the vampires were purged of all life, even woodland animals being destroyed in the inferno. All had been tainted. All must be purged.

Unarmed, Kami no Kage approached Kilo Point. Rebuilt from it's previous encounters, this point was one of the larger SOLDIER outposts, and was currently home to several members of it's leadership. At the gates he was apprehended, and he simply surrendered, allowing himself to be captured and searched. His armour could not be removed, of course, and the SOLDIERs arresting him were sufficiently intimidated not to press the issue. One last time, Kami no Kage would speak with SOLDIER. And one last time, he would make the offer of cooperation. Had it not been such a dire time, he would have fought and annihilated them for their past transgressions against him and his people, but there were bigger issues right now. If they did not unite, or at the very least settle for a peace, the world might fall into darkness.

Katya approached the Compound a Kilo Point with the Rest of 1st and 2nd squad. they moved slowly among the tree line as not to attract attention incase the base was still under attack. making there way towards the front of the base Katya noticed something. stood at the gates being searched was an old foe. one that had laid dormant for a while. Kami No Kage had returned. Quickly she grabbed her radio and called the general. "General, we have an Active Purge Cell led by Kami No Kage at the gates being searched. i dont like the look of this. the rest of first and second squad will remain on the tree line to cover the entrance, incase he attacks again"

Hank walked through the base, lost. He didn't know what to do with himself, Help SOLDIER defend from the vampires? The same SOLDIER who failed to protect his family. Or go after the two vampires and learn more about what he is, who he is, why things are the way they are?

Hank didn't make it far past the hordes of corpses before he stopped. There blood was still fresh... He was feeling weak... But strong... He was trying to resist... but how?

He could feel every instinct in his body telling him he wanted that blood... No... Needed! He needed it. He couldn't live with out it. He would be nothing with out it.

Hank sprinted over to one of the dead SOLDIER agents. He stood over the dead body for a few moments, not sure what to do. Then he blacked out, When he woke he felt powerful, like he could take on an army, then he looked at his hands, they were soaked red. Blood was all over his outfit, all over his hands, all over his face, he could see the blood on his face with out looking in a reflection. Then he turned around, he turned around to see about half a dozen dead SOLDIER agents. Fresh bodies too... Too fresh to be from the initial attack... and pale... even more pale then Hank was. "Oh my god... No... No... No no no no." he had finally become the thing he hated most, a monster.

"Well then, I think everything's settled."
Hale stood up and nodded with surprising respectfulness at his elders.
"Lady Mo. Magnus. I'll be showing Ash around the base. Have a nice evening."
He caught the keys Magnus casually threw at him.
"Check up on the mortal after, will ya?"

Closing the door behind them Hale stood in the Hall with Ashlinn.
"So, what do you want to see? The main halls, the barracks, the canteen, the ramparts, the armory, the dungeon? Or would you rather forget about all of that and play some video-games?"

Meanwhile, on the edge of reason.
Martin sits at a table with his other selves, knowing he's stuck in his own mind.
This was what happened when Magnus wanted information from you, a descent into madness.
Martins stared at him, many with milky white blind eyes. The one at the head of the table spoke again. And as he spoke the world trembled.
"̢̀͡ Now that we've established what you have lost we can start to fill that void. "̸̶̴͠
"̢̀͡ "You'll find that insight for sanity is a good trade."̢̀͡ "̸̶̴͠
Another Martin added with unnerving calm.
"We are the reflections of what you've could have been..."
"̢̀͡ "Had you chosen differently, had the dice shown other faces."̢̀͡ "̸̶̴͠
"̢̀͡ You're the odd one out, taking so long to leave your mortality behind. "̸̶̴͠
"Enough!" Martin interrupted the mad figments of his imagination. Knocking over the cup of boiling blood in his cup."I will not become a monster like you! I'll find a way out of this and I'll be sane again!"
The bright white tablecloth stained deep red, the mark expanding slowly as the spilled blood spread.
The creatures sat unfazed at this outburst. A short silence fell while the blood spread across the table. Then all laughed hysterically.
"̢̀͡ Don't fear change my mortal image. There are no monsters but those in the minds of mortals. The embrace is no descent into darkness, it is the next step. The first of many more."̸̶̴͠
"Metamorphosis."
The Martin at his left hand side had been sitting there in silence, with folded arms. But now he spoke, showing rows of canines.
While the blood spread further across the table, more blood than could have been in the cup, the Martin rose and threateningly placed a clawed hand on Martin's chest. Slowly the wolfish grin and yellow green eyes came closer and whispered.
"You see species where there are phases of a process."
Martin was pushed, back into the chair, toppling over and falling back further. Falling with no end.
He fell backwards into nothingness. Falling down into the void while crimson rain raced down around him.
From the distance vile and hopeful words chased him down.



"̢̀͡ Eye's on the horizon. Ascend. "̸̶̴͠

As suspected, the robotic hero hadn't been friendly. It called out to Hank, the only SOLDIER agent in the vicinity at the moment, and bid him help stop the evildoers. It wouldn't be necessary, however, as the two 'craven whelps' were already in flight. The vampires knew not to stick around too close to dawn. With a subtle hand, Mithais curved the flames away from his heels. Shots rang out from Eod's revolver.

Moments later, Mithias approached the location of Magnus' bunker. The heat-seeking turrets outside were blind to the cold flesh of the dead, and Mithias passed through. Birds were beginning to chirp in the pre-dawn darkness, and Mithias could feel a warm thinness beginning in the air as the excessively heavy bunker door opened for him.

Smelling of blood, mostly his own, and with various damage to his jacket and armor, Mithias walked down the hall to where Hale and Ashlinn were. "Hale." Mithias hailed and picked a used bullet out of a healing wound in his arm. He casually tossed the slug at the werewolf, not realizing it contained silver. "Where can I find Mo and Magnus?" So far, Mithias thought Bedivere had made it back before him, but he hadn't seen proof of that yet.

Alerted by the noise of the front gates opening, rapid approaching footsteps and the smell of still drying blood Hale instinctively positioned himself in front of Ashlinn.
A protective stance not necessary in this place. Still, why fight compulsions if they could be of use some day.
When the recognizable dark figure emerged around the corners he relaxed and returned to his normal carefree posture and caught the slug.
"They're discussing tactics in- Ah shit!" Hale dropped it like snoop dog and shook his hand in frustrated pain. The unpleasant smell of charred skin immediately filled the sensitive senses of vampire and werewolf alike.
With clear ringing tones the smoking piece of bloody shrapnel bounced on the concrete floor.
"Decrepit son of a catholic whore! Unholy Fuck! By the gods's cunts that bloody stings!" Hale growled in reflex before taking a deep breath and fixing his composure.
"They're in Mo's room, west wing. It's the only room with a view of the forest."

Hank Approached the Generals quarters and walked in still soaked in the fresh blood of SOLDIER agents. He sighed and made eye contact with the general completely ignoring Allison. "I counted two of them." He laughed a bit. "Funny what two vampires can do to a whole army." He paused. "Or one vampire, one really pissed of vampire. I guess it's a good thing most of us have a good idea of who to trust eh?" He was still holding the sawed off shotgun in his hands, not nearly as covered in blood but the stains could still be seen on it.

He turned and faced Allison. "It's best you go and keep watch for more vampires, not all are as nice as me, and we wouldn't want SOLDIER to screw up yet again." He had a scorn in his face as he talked.

Mithias blinked as Hale swiftly dropped the bullet and cursed a storm that would make babies cry for miles around. He looked from the ringing ounce of metal to Hale's smoking hand. "It's silver? Oh no. Where is Bedivere?" Mithias didn't even wait as he headed to Mo's room.

The door swiftly opened as Mithias entered rudely, without a knock. "Lady Mo?" He looked from her to Magnus, then to the human in a box. Bedivere wasn't there. Mithias' black brow furrowed in discontent. He was going to have to go back out there.

Allison was waiting for the Generals reaction as he just received a call from Katya.
Seems like she made it, wonder if she had any trouble getting here.
Suddenly she heard footsteps coming closer accompanied with the smell of blood. The moment Hank entered the office Allison was aiming straight at his head.
"..Who are you, I haven't seen you here before."
The man who walked in was soaked in blood and judging from the smell it was fresh blood. Instead of stopping or answering Allison's question he simply ignored her.
This damn son of a b****. Who does he think he is?
"Hey you deaf nut! I am talking to you!"

He turned and faced Allison. "It's best you go and keep watch for more vampires, not all are as nice as me, and we wouldn't want SOLDIER to screw up yet again." He had a scorn in his face as he talked.

"Yeah sure, I am gonna go watching for more vampires and leave the General alone with some frickin' guy I never saw before and on top of that this guy is soaked in fresh blood. Not really trustworthy Mr it's a good thing most of us have a good idea of who to trust eh? So, how about you put your weapon away and explain yourself first!" Allison replied sarcastically, still aiming at the man.

Kami no Kage smiled, as the audioreceptors in his suit picked up Katya's voice. His memory for noises of any kind was perfect, and he instantly recognized the voice. Turning away from the stubborn flunkies he'd been conversing with, he strolled in the direction of Katya and her men. He seemed not to care about the many weapons aimed at him, but based on Katya's experience he didn't have to. After all, he'd killed more men than this before. "Of course. You made it through the twilight. You're a killer, after all. It seems you may be able to assist me in this particular matter. The vampires are undoubtedly rallying for an attack, most likely on this location. I believe their leaders will personally oversee the conquering of Kilo Point." Kami no Kage stopped walking inches away from Katya, his monotone robotic voice still droning on. "I plan on finding their base and blowing the everloving shit out of them before they so much as think of attacking this location. They must have a base nearby, presumably underground, as we were unable to spot any vampire hordes out in the open. This will most likely be the same base previously utilized."

Katya stared at Kami no Kage for a while. she knew he could never be forgiven for the crimes he committed against SOLDIER but right know they didnt have any soldiers left to fight off another wave. "Nice to see you again too." she joked " See i'd love to help but im not in charge. however i can take you to him but i want something in return Kage" she looked into the face of a cold blooded killer. "I want you to sign a non aggression pact with SOLDIER"

Hank smiled. "Explain my self? The damn General is the one who told me to come here and solve Your Vampire problem. And truth be told, there are more vampires out side." He leaned into Allison's face. "But they don't have nearly as much of a personal stake in this as I do." There was a metal crunching sound, Hanks hand was on Allison's weapon, only now it was crushed like it was made of tinfoil. He then aimed the sawed off shotgun at the general. "It is a good idea to leave us alone to talk, Because I am going to settle this one way or another, and only one way ends with that asshole alive." He backed away from Allison a bit, the gun still aimed at the General still, He drew his machete and started to casually swing it a bit. "Or we have the last option, Everyone in this damn piece of shit base dies. Now as a former Marine, I don't want to cause the death off every soldier in thsi base, But understanding why This asshole let my family die is a lot mroe importent to me."

Hank would be referencing the General again. Though this time a bit more unstable. "So go ahead, test my faith in which side I am on, Because truth be told, Fuck your war, I have things I need to take care of. I failed that mission once, I will not again."

Eod sighed, or, simulated sighing, as he had no lungs to truly sigh with. He watched himself, as he rushed back to the soldier base, just in time to hear a crinkle of metal, and a rather..choice, statement. "It is a good idea to leave us alone to talk, Because I am going to settle this one way or another, and only one way ends with that asshole alive.............Or we have the last option, Everyone in this damn piece of shit base dies. Now as a former Marine, I don't want to cause the death off every soldier in this base, But understanding why This asshole let my family die is a lot more important to me."
Someone was being threatened? Someone was threatening to kill those within the base still? Eod rushed forth, barging though doors, and down hallways, soon ending up with Allison, Hank, and the General. Seeing Hank with a weapon out, Eod looked at the three people before him. He then looks at Hank.
"You hurt any of these people, vampire, you and I will have..problems." He says, before turning to Allison. "Ma'am, your weapons is out of order, here, take this." he adds, flipping one of his revolvers around for her to take the handle. "It is a forty four magnum, filled with silver rounds, fully loaded. It should help keep you safe." He says, and the two who had not been there to expierance it first hand would notice something.....there was bullets stuck in this thing's chest, lodged in his combat armored torso. He didn't bleed, nor did he seem to mind.

"Oh believe me, I have every intention of working together with SOLDIER. Your organization, while far from Truth, has it's heart in the right place. It was a sadness that we had to resort to violence between our respective factions, but I acted only in response to your people's assault on my own." Kami looked off to the side. The sun was rising steadily. He would like to attack in the daylight - some vampires were weaker during the day. Furthermore, in the dark the vampires had the advantage of night vision. And if their assault was to succeed, they would need all the odds in their favour. "Tell your General to prepare his troops for battle. I march on the vampire base in an hour, by then I would like to have SOLDIER support. Only if we work together can we repell the horde of demons who have crawled up from Hell, only through cooperation can we find the salvation of humanity."

"I wont tell him anything. You on the other hand can" Katya said grabbing her radio. she set the frequency to that of the Generals. "General Fenix, Permission to take 1st and 2nd squad out to dispose of a vampire nest. we have coordinates and help from a 'friend'" she said into the mic. she turned back to kami no kage "Tell the general what you need. and make it snappy"

"Any and all missiles, preferrably bunkerbusters, to be fired at this specific location. My men will commence with the cleanup of any rabble that manage to escape the explosions. If missiles are unavailable, deploy air support and bomb the area. Furthermore, we'd like a solid supply of fuel and ammo when we return, in order to make the entire ordeal feasible." Having finished naming his requirements, Kami no Kage turned away and left. Whether the General objected or not, nothing he had to say mattered. He would either help, or he would die. There was no in between, and no room for persuasion.

A troop of heavily armoured Purge units moved past the base, a Divine Host. No infantry was deployed, as they only provided a weakness for the vampires to exploit. Every square inch of armour plating was adorned with a tiny indented crucifix, to ward off any vampires who would try and climb the hull. It was a rather impressive sight to SOLDIER's guards, as the great armoured hulls shifted along the treeline, moving with surprising agility.

General Fenix listened to the Purge demands. to be fair SOLDIER were fighting a losing war. he turned to EOD and Allison "Allison, Excuse me i dont know your Serial code but both of you i need you out with Katya. your going to be attacking the Vampire base. Hank you will have to excuse me a few moments i have to order an aerial attack on a certain base. why dont you go clean yourself up. ill have Joanne Radio down to the armoury to get you some gear and a uniform. meet me back here when your done. oh and hank feel free to take a mint from the bowl"

Katya turned to the leaving Kami No Kage. "Hey, you know that you have SOLDIER special forces inbound to help with your task right. i mean you dont have any idea where this base is"
