You think that's bad? I've seen RPs with "ALWAYS OPEN" in the title get people dropping in just to ask if it's still open. XD
We who complain here should roleplay together. It would probably make for the most peaceful and perfect roleplay in the history of everything!

That's a recipe for Armageddon... XD
You know what's bullsh!t? People who make 1x1 Interest Checks and love to remark "I don't bite", as if saying that sending a PM to them to talk about a potential RP is perfectly fine. You click on their username, start a private convo with them, use your time to create a great introduction message to explain your interest and the plot you have thought...only to have the person keep bumping his/her thread and ignore you. I've had this happen 4 times this week where the GM ignores me. At least have the decency of saying that you are not interested. I wonder when did RPG became so infested with ill-mannered twats.
I'm irked at how you can spend a month crafting this beautiful, original world, with varied people's and cultures, complete with a solid concept for the game, and a fresh and fascinating mechanic which would make your game unique and fresh...
And for it to be ignored by the game who's entire interest check can be summed up as: 'LOL CYBERPNUK' or 'LOL ZMOBIES'
Are people uninterested in unique ideas? Do people like cyberpunk and zombies so much that they'll ignore everything else?
I've seen this happen to so many times, and I've been here for such a short amount of time.
When I have to read a character sheet and/or post that is full of spelling and grammar issues.
It's worse when the person even butchers character and area names.
Ugh, that's especially bad when they seem to ignore everything else going around them. Newsflash people; no one wants to read a ten paragraph essay into your characters inner-turmoil if the entire thing could be boiled down to "I drive down the street", and that goes double when you seem to be writing a personal novel or something and not actually interacting with the other players.
One of OOC's many points is to facilitate random chatter to promote social activity that indirectly keeps people interested, active, and committed. OOC is not just a place to post setting inquiries, Q&A, and character sheets.
