@Shikaru@Legion-114@2b3heart@DiZL ReloadeD@Kurai AssassinTime was out. A Crusader whipped out one of their famous flamethrowers, a smile behind the helmet. With the simple press of the trigger, the burner activated. A chain reaction ensued, as the burner ignited the gas in the air. Blue flames exploded outwards, engulfing everything in the area, a wave of heat and fire that threatened to consume those who remained alive. Those left would experience a moment of suffocation, the fire having burned away the oxygen. Then, the world went blank.
Chasing the trail of gas, the fire had shot down into the building's basement. There it had rushed through the pipes, the metal being pushed outwards by the sudden heat, unable to relieve the pressure. Eventually, and inevitably, it reached the main tanks. The pressure was immense, and neither the steel containers nor the ground above could halt the wall of fire. It exploded outwards, the very ground bursting upwards as metal shards ripped their way through the Pelican. A wave of fire and force left a trail of devastation, forcing the Freelance crew to the ground.
Eventually, the dust settled. The building had been ripped to shreds, the Pelican lay in a wreck. A number of the Hive dropships had been brought down by the explosion, and there were a large number of casualties. No Purge survived the explosion. The crew of the Pelican would manage to crawl from the wreckage, having been shielded by the vehicle's walls from the brunt of the force. However, those that had remained on the ground would find themselves heavily wounded, only the suits (and/or regenerative powers) had prevented their deaths. Even Blood found himself nearly cut in half by a piece of shrapnel the size of a car.
Of course, the explosion had a single silver lining. The silver nitrate cloud had been sucked to the ground by the vacuum, and it left the entire area looking like a post-apocalyptic christmas decoration.

Kami stood, as the image was replaced by static. The bomb had gone off, but there was no way to guarantee that those that had struck out against the Purge had been dealt with. When he had first received the reports, he had believed it to be another vampire attack. Small groups of vampires regularly struck out at Purge outposts around the country, remnants of Mohuaak's Army. However, the attackers had soon shown their true nature. It appeared there was a well-equipped human force that was trying to take down the Purge, for whatever reason. the reports of a Hive force being present were also strange. Hive hadn't acted in years, and their goals seemed to align with those of the Purge.
"Send a squadron of Interceptors, and prepare my personal ship. Further notify Sir Comfort and Sir Everett. They will accompany me to the location, armed with fire-based weaponry."
Stepping out of the armoured basement, Kami proceeded to the launch pad with all haste. Within moment the preparations were made. The interceptors would scout out the area, and deal with any reinforcements that might arrive for the enemy. He would personally deal with any remaining ground troops, and verify who it was that challenged the Purge.
All those that protected the vampire filth would die.
