The last thing you can remember is playing some game. After hitting start, things go all fuzzy. You must've fallen asleep at the keyboard or something. That must explain why you're feeling a bit tired. Your eyes groggily open to your new surroundings. It's very blue, reminiscent of tron certainly, but white instead of black. It's actually quite bright, and for most this would do nothing good on the eyes. It's an endless expanse of white and cyan, and there's no ground beneath you. Though there's no density to it, you can easily swim, and if you could fly, you're sure that would work as well. In fact, maybe you can fly. You can feel it- your body has changed. For some, the changes are minor. Others, their body is not only their's anymore. It's surprisingly un-ephemeral though, it feels that whatever's happening is happening for real. Or maybe it's just a really weird lucid dream. Who knows?

Cirka - Universal Hub

The young fairy boy yawned and groaned in annoyance as he woke up, not even bothering to open his eyes. "Urghh. Eye'm sleepin' here, Mom..." He complained. Getting no response though, Cirka decided something was up. He yawned and rubbed the sleep out of his eyes before checking his surroundings. It was quite bright, and gave off a very sterile feel, making him shield his eyes from all the bright white and cyan. He tried to get out of bed, but he couldn't. There was no bed. In fact, there was nothing under him! He scrambled to find something to hold, only to see he wasn't falling. He looked around to see why, but all he saw was some weird people.

He couldn't remember all of them, but judging by those he could, they were from videogames. Except Jack. He was from a comic. Also, he was evil, probably. Cirka tried to charge at the enemy, but when he moved his body, he realized it had changed. He quickly took stock of himself. His hair felt the same, though until he got a mirror he wouldn't be sure. He couldn't remember wear he had gotten his clothes, and he felt much shorter. There were two cool things about him now though. The wooden sword strapped to his side, and the icicle wings on his back. That explained why he wasn't falling. He quickly resumed his jack attack, flinging himself at the enemy with sword in hand, screaming at the top of his lungs.

Cia woke up to look around. She was a bit confused as she sat back a bit realizing that she wasn't in her body when she rolled backwards. Something was off and the scenery around her had proved this. She moved her stubby arms infront of her. At first she was terrified that she lacked fingers. They were her favorite body part! But then she noticed something else. They were pink, she started to feel around her face more and body before looking at her body. She realized then who she was. She was Kirby! The most adorable of all the Nintendo Characters at that. "Oh my gosh.. I'M ADORABLE!" Cia said hugging herself. She couldn't be happier with this form especially since in her former human form she had a broken leg, which was now fixed.

She then saw a rather strange looking fairy going after an even stranger looking creature. She decided it would be best to just watch and not get involved. She recognized neither of these characters however she was able to recognize a girl nearby who looked like Link. After watching a bit she headed over to the girl in an attempt to wake her. She felt most familiar with this girl as she was also a Nintendo character. She started to pull the girl away from the black creature that was about to get attacked.

Alton refused to get up. He was in the phase of regaining consciousness, but was adamant to force himself back to that wonderful darkness that is sleep. His alarm hasn't even gone of- "CRAP! I FORGOT TO SET THE ALARM!"

With a jolt, he sat up and looked around for his... room? All he could see is a group of very confused-looking characters, standing somewhere is an empty white void. "I'm just dreaming, right?" Alton thought to himself, "This is a lucid dream, my alarm is still ticking and I'm still in bed. But why does it feel so real? And- is something on my face?" He reached up and felt the beak of the rooster mask that covered his entire head. As he did so, he noticed his arm was wearing a beige sleeve. Alton looked down.

"Holy crap, I'm Jacket."

He took another look at the band of characters in front of him. We had Kirby, Link (female), a mage, that girl from Borderlands, that guy from DMC, and a crazy popsicle-stick guy attacking a black wolf. "This can't be a dream." Alton thought, "My brain can't have just made this up. What the hell happened?"

Despite the bright white light, it didn't seem like one of the people gathered was going to be waking up any time soon. At least, not for the moment at least. They were dressed in a sleeveless button up vest. Under it, was a red t-shirt with a skull logo on it. The right sleeve was ripped slightly, causing it to hang a bit lower on the right arm. On the persons waist was a belt with various tools on it including a hammer and a screwdriver, and also seemed to help hold up a red-skirt. On their legs, were stockings with black and white stripes, her sneakers were light blue, with the heel and toes of the shoes being white. On her right leg, a wrench was strapped. On her head, was a cap with a similar skull design as the shirt on the front of it. It was an off-yellow color, and her hair was red and seemed to have zero sense of any styling or fashion with it. The most notable thing, however, was the fact her entire left arm was metal from the shoulder down. In all, the girl didn't look to be that old - maybe she had just gotten out of highschool.

The girl was laying on her side, occasionally muttering to herself in her sleep. She seemed to be in the middle of dream involving cupcakes, if her muttering was anything to go by. Must have been quite a good dream too, for her to ignore the others that were currently awake. Either that, or she was just a really heavy sleeper. However, with a sudden groan she rolled over onto her back, covering her eyes with her mechanical arm as she tried to block out the bright light. It seemed, she wasn't too happy with the offending light waking her up...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Was that...a cupcake?...well, now this was a first. A dream about cupcakes. Not only that, they were purple. Well, purple was his favorite color, but eh...he couldn't say cupcakes were his favorite. He wasn't one for baked goods. Ice cream though? Yeah, he'd eat a tub by himself. The cupcake in question was quite large. It was at least as big as he was. Well, now, since this was a dream...he should be able to do whatever he wanted too, right? So...he should theoretically be able to turn that cupcake into a giant mountain of ice-cream. Well, this was a rather pleasant dream indeed! Even if he had a tendency to not remember any of them. Might as well enjoy it while it lasted.
Unfortunately, before he could even get around to it, the cupcake began to crack. Well, that was odd...this was going to be one of those weird dreams, wasn't it? Like on, with a giant talking deer with a human face or something. Why was it that he only remembered the weird dreams he had? Thankfully, the cupcake didn't explode into a talking human deer thing, and instead the cracks simply began to grow. Bright white light shone through the cracks. The cupcake began to tremble violently, before eventually exploding into a shower of impossibly bright light - he had to cover his face with a hand to avoid being blinded.
....and then, he was awake, laying on his back with a hand of his covering his face. Uuugh...well, that dream could have been weirder. The more important question now, was who in the name of god turned this freakin' impossibly bright light on.
"Uuugh...whatever jackass...turned that light on...turn it off..." He sleepily said. Well, at least, he was going to, but before he could a feminine voice said exactly what he was going to say. Huh, well, since that was said it seemed like he didn't need to say anything. You rock, chick who he had no idea who they were. He decided he'd at least agree with her.
"Ugh, I know right...turn it off..." Huh, another girl answered that time. Tsk. These women all talkin' before he could get a word in. Typical. At least...it was probably a different girl. They probably just had similar sounding voices.
...wait.
He was pretty sure there shouldn't be a girl in his house, let alone two. At least, not since he dumped his last girl friend when he started college. He was also fairly sure, that he didn't currently have a girlfriend. He was also pretty sure, that since he didn't drink, he couldn't possibly have gotten drunk and went home with someone or something like that. The more his sleepy mind began to wake up, the less and less sense this made, and the more panic began to set in. Kidnapped? Devious plot by someone to ransom him? Well, he wasn't exactly worth a lot and his bank account was barer than the Sahara desert in summer. Sigh...the troubles of being a 21 year old with student loans.
Slowly, he removed the arm from in front of his face, still having his eyes closed, letting them adjust to the bright light a bit before carefully, carefully, opening one of them. All manner of theories went racing through his head as he opened them. Abducted by aliens? Government experiment? Nazis? Unfortunately, any wild theory could hardly prepare him for what he was about to see.
When he opened his eyes, he was greeted with an endless expanse of white. Absolutely nothing aside from an expanse of white and cyan. It was actually quite pretty, when he thought about it. Kind of like some sort of abstract painting. He always did like painting even if he was crap at it. The sudden somewhat calming scenery caused him to let his guard down slightly, making him woefully unprepared for what was about to happen soon. He was also pretty sure he was still dreaming. No other place a scene like this could ever be anywhere.
Hearing a commotion, with a yawn, he turned his head to the left to locate the source of the noise. Some...fairy looking boy was charging at some...black thing with a...was that a popsicle stick?...yeah, okay, this was probably going to be one of those dreams, wasn't it? Well, it might be entertaining to watch for a bit. Also...where was the free popcorn? He couldn't even smell any. Fail, dream, you fail. Popcorn was standard for watching fights. Well, whatever. There also seemed to be a few other people laying about. Was that...Kirby...and someone dressed in a familiar green tunic? Well, at least he recognized two...uhm...well, a pink fluff ball and a person here. Huh, maybe there were a few other people laying-
And then, his eyes fell on his now mechanical arm.
"Kyaaah!" A startled, somewhat alarmed yell escaped his lips as he shot up, coming to a sitting position. At least, he was pretty sure it was his. It sounded vaguely familiar - but definitely a bit...higher pitched at the moment. He mentally passed it off as a quirk of the dream. Right. Right, dream.
"Okay...okay, I have a robot arm. Robots are cool." He held out the arm in front of him, inspecting his new arm, testing its range of motion. It seemed to be just as good as an actual arm. He reached over with his right arm and gave it a little poke. Well, aside from it being made out of metal and him not being able to feel anything with it. Well, okay, that wasn't so bad. He then turned his attention to his right arm. Fingerless gloves...some sort of...giant lock on his wrist. Looked like his shirt was torn slightly. Huh, was he some sort of junk robot or something?
It was then, his eyes finally fell downwards - he immediately noticed something was really, really, wrong. Aside from noticing his chest was a bit...uhm...heavier, than it should be, there were...Okay...so...boobs. He had boobs in this dream. He briefly pulled the shirt outwards and looked at the inside of his shirt just to confirm that they were, in fact, boobs. After a brief second of confirmation, he let out a small chuckle, before falling backwards and staring at the vast expanse of white and cyan sky blankly.
It hit him. That voice from earlier, was in fact his. There was no other girl in the room with him. Well, maybe. Whatever that black thing was might be a girl. He hoped not. That'd be all kinds of freaky. Anyways - point being...he was, in fact, a girl in this dream.
Fuck you, dream world. Fuck you and go to goddamn hell. If you were going to make him a girl, at least give him some bigger ones at least to make up for your fuckery. Fuck you too, universe.
Well, he was probably going to wake up soon enough. Might as well just sit here and contemplate the meaning of life in the meantime. "Mental note: For the love of god, never 'Kyaa' again or I will bash my head into a nonexistent wall."
Leander woke up to the sound of someone saying something about being adorable. Eyes now wide open, he looked around and quickly realized that he was definitely not at home anymore. He go up from the ground, or whatever was holding him up, and looked down at himself. Was this a bathrobe? No, wait, the fabric felt different from a bathrobe. He looked at his hands and noticed the staff and sword he was carrying. Although they were cool, he wondered where these came from.
Then he remembered the last thing he was doing before he fell asleep. If he remembered correctly, he was doing something with a picture of the red Magicka Wizard. Judging from the fact that the robe he was wearing was red, and he was carrying the staff and sword he saw in the picture, it was probably safe for Leander to assume that he was now that Magicka Wizard. This would be incredibly cool if he knew what exactly was going on.
Speaking of which, there were others around him. Some he recognized instantly, such as Link and Kirby. Others included Gaige from Borderlands 2 and... was that the Hotline Miami guy? A more immediate situation, though, was some blue haired guy charging at some black... thing. Whatever it was, it wasn't right. Leander quickly went over to them and started casting a 5-Element Water spell. Leander pointed his staff at Circa and attempted to spray a torrent of water at him. It wouldn't hurt him at all, just knock him back... a lot.
"...Ah, dammit..."
A muted, but clearly annoyed voice groaned out as he pulled himself up. It was bright, very bright, brighter than he ever recalled his room being. Did his eyes get extra-sensitive? At a sitting position, he moved to rub his eyes- and was quickly met with a grotesque demonic hand where his right hand should've been.
"OH WHAT THE FU-!?" Alexander cried out, very suddenly more aware. He rubbed his eyes again with his left hand, notably unchanged, and blinked a few times. The weird arm was still like, like some sort of occult gauntlet fused to his arm. Large clawed fingers, layers of hard hide armor, and a glowing scar along the back of it. It was real, it had to be- he tried to shift his finger, wiggle his hand around inside the gauntlet, but he felt no such thing. This was his arm now. "What even...?"
His thoughts drifted back to last night, in search of an answer. He was staying up painfully late, about to play some odd indie game like MUGEN or something... and then it all kind of faded away. Nero - for some reason, he registered the fact that he was picked the character from Devil May Cry 4 on a whim. One could practically see the gears turning in his head... and then he breathed out:
"What the hell even is this?"
He could hear and see other people around, but he was still focused on himself. Alexander tried to stand up, and suddenly became aware of two items at his side - a blue-tinted revolver and an intricate red sword. Nero's weapons, he recalled: Red Queen and Blue Rose. If he really was Nero now, Alexander wouldn't want to leave without these, and so he carefully grabbed and put away the weapons. It felt all too surreal, this was something that really shouldn't be happening. At least, not in today's world. Who knows what kind of crazy VR tech they would come up with next?
So what was this? That was the golden question, it seemed-
"Kyaaah!"
Oi. Alexander (he wasn't about to admit he was completely Nero just yet) slot a glance over at the source of the voice, but it took him a couple of seconds to lock onto the distinct female that let it out. This damn place seemed to echo out a bunch, so it was hard to initially tell which voices were from where. The lady... he didn't recognize. Luckily, there was a bunch of other people around that he did; there was some guy in a chicken mask, a traditional cloak-and-staff wizard, a pink puffball that could only be Kirby, a green-wearing elf that had to be Link, a short guy in a blue getup with ice wings (was that supposed to be Cirno?)...
...and a black dragon with crow wings, tentacles instead of an arm, and a ridiculous multicolored outfit. That's about where he gave up, giving a roll of the eyes and an exasperated groan. This was going to get worse before it got better, Alexander figured.
And then the blue fairy dude charged forward angrily for no reason at black dragon thing, while the wizard tried to intervene. "Yeah, okay, whatever," Alexander sighed out, turning aside waving them off with his good hand, "I don't know what the crap is happening, but I'd like nothing to do with it, thank you." He looked about to walk away from the situation - into endless void, perhaps, but definitely away from this crazy scene.
" Online. " I was now conscious, my mind instantly turn on as if it were a computer. Movement returned to my body, the sizzling feeling active on my muscles. It felt awkward as I tried to move my hands, not being able to see was...har- Oh. Slowly opening my eyelids I could hear my breaths and could see borders, my hand's quickly touched a...helmet? There was a leathery feeling on my hands, the transparency of the glass that was on the helmet was good enough to see what was outside. Soon the sizzling feeling faded away and I could tell that my body was floating in mid-air. I didn't even know if I was in the air and I was too cautious to take off my helmet. I padded myself, to make sure that I was in reality...' Wish this helmet was off of me... ' I said in my mind and soon after a few seconds the helmet disappeared, hair and air releasing from the enclosed space. I hyperventilated for a few seconds until I recognize that I was breathing perfectly.
I blinked, baffled at what I was seeing. " Code 98., " the voice said again, it's dull and monotoned voice was definitely familiar, a hologram appeared in front of me. I didn't know why I considered it a 'hologram' it seemed like an instinct or somewhat. The holograms wrote down multiple codes...soon enough the holograms disappeared, I was left, once again confused. After a few minutes of confusion, my eyes suddenly created outlines. The one backing away I 'fell' onto a platform. Looking down I considered it to be another hologram except it was solid, the hologram had code noticeably running through it. I stood up, looking back at the outline, the outline had wings and seemed to have the shape of a humanoid. As I stepped forward I imagined myself falling but instead the hologram followed, walking a few steps closer to the outline the hologram wasn't infinite and only expanded when I went a certain distance.
" Target seems, passive. " The monotoned voice said, I couldn't help agree with the unknown being that was speaking to me. As I got closer the outline became larger and I soon saw a blue haired boy with icicle-looking wings. Once again baffled the voice instructed me to only stay a few feet behind, " Weapons are not found, the humanoid figure...is powered. " I didn't know what the voice meant though I imagined that the figure had some sort of magical powers. As I walked around the fae-like being the outlines increased as there were about 3 or 4 beings that interacted with the fae. " Passive, stay a safe distance. " The voice told me once again, ' Alrighty ' I replied to the voice within my head.
The first thing Dan noticed when he opened his eyes, other than the white and blue void was that some guy with wings and wielding a giant Popsicle stick like a sword charging at him. His first idea was for some reason to stab him to death and take the "sword'as a trophy, immediately afterwards he remembered that taking trophies was stupid. Long story short he had absolutely no idea what was going on.
While Dan was ignoring the urge to stab the fairy, someone in red pajamas or something fired a jet of water in the direction of the Popsicleblade user. Since he was not sure if that would help he tried to put his hands in front of his face to protect it. It was at this point he realized several things, namely he had only one hand, it seemed to be covered by something black and shiny and he was wearing a ring he recognized from Homestuck. These facts combined with the urge to stab someone and claim a trophy lead him to a bizarre conclusion.
"I have become a Jack Noir!?!?" Now he had to figure out which version he was, the fact that he had the ring at least limited it to the pre-scratch version but there were still three forms left even in that case. Okay actually two since the first one wouldn't have the ring. Anyway this wasn't the time to figure that out, if the waterblast didn't stop the fairy he might have to fight.
Hoping he was right so far, he reached for his chest where he should have a sword. and indeed the sword was lodged in there. "Okay, I really hope the theory about the sword is true." He pulled the black blade out of his abdomen without encountering any resistance."So far so good, that part was painless at least. "
Well, all things considered things could be worse. Things could always be worse. Say, he could be being chased by a dinosaur or have lost his pants or something. Well, considering he was pretty sure he was currently wearing a skirt, maybe it was pretty bad. Ah well...at least he could watch these other idiots fight for entertainment until he woke up from this weird dream of his. At least this would probably be over soon. He read somewhere that dreams only lasted a few minutes, actually no matter how long they seemed.
Still, something about this felt...off. Like, this was an incredibly life-like dream or something. He sat up with a small annoyed huff, crossing his legs and placing his hands on his knees while he tried to think of everything that had recently happened. Maybe this was just a weird dream given to him by those nachos he had eaten a few hours ago. After he ate those nachos, what did he do anyways?...he vaguely remembered something about the computer and a game. The memory was fuzzy at best, but he had never had a good memory to begin with. What was a little...weird was the fact that he clearly remembered Gaige from Borderlands 2 being in that game or something.
And that, is when it hit him. The mechanical arm, skirt, stockings, jacket and...uh...other assets. He looked like Gaige. Just to confirm it one more time, he reached up, pulling a strand of hear off of his head. It was red, confirming his suspicions. Just...just what in the hell was happening? On the off chance this was real, then that meant he had turned into Gaige. Which meant...these...boobs were real and that he had just pretty much turned into a girl.
...but that couldn't be, right? Really, people just didn't turn into video game characters. But if he had...then that meant Deathtrap should also be here somewhere, right? Or rather, he could summon him using his left arm. Now...how exactly was he supposed to do that? It would be a nice little test to see if he just looked like her, or also had her abilities. In the game, she made a motion with her arm to summon DT. Something...like this?
He moved his mechanical arm in the same way Gaige always did in the games. It couldn't be that simple, could it? Surprisingly enough, it was. As soon as he finished the motion, digital blue blocks appeared, quickly forming the robot. It made a mechanical sounding noise as he was summoned. The large robot hovered in place, its single eye studying the area around it emotionless, as he tried to actually wrap his head around what he had just done.
O.M.G. It was Deathtrap. Like, literally the Deathtrap from Borderlands 2. A girlish squeal escaped his lips as he went into fanboy mode. Or...fangirl mode? He wasn't entirely sure, at this point but screw that. He could summon Deathtrap. He tentatively touched it with his right hand. Yep, it was the real thing. Or at least it felt real enough for him to accept it as real. Did that mean...the others were real as well, then? He recognized link and Kirby. Maybe they were people who got caught up in this too - though they seemed like...well, most of them got to keep their bodies. Unlike him.
Well, whatever. Deathtrap. Now...what about everything else? If he was the character from Borderlands, he would need a gun. An Hyperion SMG or Pistol, specifically. Since Deathtrap looked like it had quite a few points into the Anarchy tree, he would need the accuracy stabilizers on those guns...Well, whatever. He'd figure it out later. For now, Deathtrap. How did he command this guy? Just...a verbal order or something?
Eh, whatevs. For now he would continue to sit and have DT make sure these guys didn't try anything on him-er, her?...Them? He she?...Ah whatever. Not like he would particularly care in the long run. He could just not tell these guys he was a guy at all, if it came up. Probably would be easier anyways. Eh...whatever, it seemed the fight was escalating a bit. Some wizard looking guy in a robe fired a blast of water at the fairy guy. The black guy then pulled a sword out of his chest?...ouch. What the heck, dude?
"Man..where's some popcorn when you need it. Or nachos. I could go for some nachos." She sighed. Might as well get used to using She. Probably what these guys were gonna call him anyways. Maybe she should go see Link or something. Out of everyone gathered here, he and Kirby were the only ones she recognized. Though, the fairy guy looked suspiciously liked Cirno, but she wasn't sure since she was never a big fan of those games.
As the fairy boy threw himself at the enemy, he heard water flowing towards him. He flicked his head towards the commotion to see a wizard that looked suspiciously like that one guy from that one game gesturing with a staff and firing water at him. Cirka grinned devilishly as he froze the water coming at him. But it didn't stop. In fact he had now made the situation much worse. He was slammed with a big chunk of ice and flew back, dropping his sword on the way. Though he was immune to cold, he wasn't immune to mass. "Note to self. Freezing things doesn't stop them." He mumbled as he got up. He looked down his shirt to see that he had a sizable light bruise on his chest. But Cirka wasn't one to give up that easy.
The ice fairy generated tons of danmaku and threw them at the wizard in a spread pattern. Though they weren't exactly moving fast, Cirka was sure it would be enough to make him at least move or something. All he needed was an opportunity. While the wizard was preoccupied with the bullets, Cirka again charged head first at the sword wielding carapacian. To make up for his lack of a blade, Cirka covered his right fist in a block of ice. Though he was unsure if it would block Jack's blade, once he was close enough, he could try to freeze Jack himself. "Freeze Sign, -Co Fist!" The young man yelled while he flew to meet his opponent.
Carmen didn't even have to open her eyes to know it was bright. Blindingly so, which was only made more annoying by her present state of semi-lucidness. She shut her eyes more tightly to block it out, but her efforts were fruitless. The light shone through just as brightly as before. Irritated, she decided to take it as a sign she'd overslept and forced her eyes open.
It was then she realized something about this was very wrong. A lot of things, in fact. For one, this couldn't have been where she was before. She'd never have been able to fall asleep somewhere this obnoxiously bright. And on top of that, there was no floor beneath her. More than a little strange, but she didn't seem to be falling.
Where had she fallen asleep? It was her bedroom, wasn't it? She'd just downloaded a fangame of some sort, hadn't she? She'd selected her character from a list, and... she couldn't remember anything past that. Maybe she fell asleep then? She'd been up much later than usual, it wasn't impossible. Or maybe the game was just dull and unmemorable. That was also within the realm of possibility. Maybe she was still asleep, and this was a weird dream. It would explain the lack of ground. But it didn't feel like a dream at all.
Then, she realized she wasn't the only one here. And someone was pulling her somewhere. Away from some of the others. Were they fighting? It looked like it, but she wasn't sure. She was still too tired to make sense of everything. She turned to see who'd grabbed her and saw... Kirby. It was Kirby, wasn't it? Then this was a dream after all? But still, something told her it couldn't be. Should she try to ask the others here what was going on? Would they even know? She still couldn't shake the feeling that something else was different, something she couldn't put her finger on, but she was too groggy to figure out what it was. Giving in to her tiredness and curiosity, she said the first thing that popped into her head, directed at anyone who could hear her.
"Um... hello."
Leander was a bit surprised to see his water suddenly transform into ice and crash into the blue-haired guy. He didn't mean to hurt him at all. Leander tried to asked, "Are you alright?", but what came out instead was, "Mer des brinkas?" A text bubble popped up above Leander, translating what he just said. Before he could figure out what that was all about, he was suddenly met with an insane amount of firepower.
Leander's first instinct led him to cast a shield wall in front of himself, using a single shield element. The shield immediately started depleting upon the bullets hitting it, and Leander put all his effort into boosting the shield so it stayed up. Fortunately, his boosting was just enough so that the shield would stay up, and the bullets were unable to touch him. However, Leander noticed Cirka charge the black thing again, this time with some sort of ice block on his fist.
"Sloopa du vernisus!" Leander said, the text bubble above his head translating it to "Stop this madness!" Leander created a singular Arcane element, and fired a red-and-black laser beam, making sure it was weak enough to not harm Circa significantly. Whether the beam hit or not, Leander then said, "Metuse tali ommu dekka!", the text bubble translating it to "Let's talk about this!"
Cia looked at the Link girl and gave the most adorable smile she could. "Hi there!" Cia said waving her stubby arm above her head. "So your Link huh? Any idea what's going on? That last thing I remember is choosing Kirby on a screen, then falling asleep, and then I woke up in this adorable body. Oh and my leg isn't broken anymore!" Cia said as she stood on one arm while waving around her other foot. Cia did love this new form of hers, it was certainly better than her human form. And her guess was that in this form she wouldn't get fat if she ate too much. After she saw one the dark creature pull a sword out of it's chest Cia figured that this meant she would have the ability to suck up and copy abilities. But right now she only wanted to get away from the madness rather than get in the middle of it.
Okay, so maybe he wasn't as keen to get away as he was thinking. There certainly wasn't anyplace to go that wasn't a shiny white-and-blue void, so that left him with this group of nimrods (and ladies). So Alexander was just stuck standing there, looking about to ditch this mad party but having nowhere else to be. His eyes rolled back and he sighed in exasperation again, the violence escalating behind him. With the wizard spouting magic nonsense words and the stupid ice fairy dude shouting equally nonsense magic words, Alexander finally decided that this shit was getting a bit too out of hand to bear for however long he was going to be stuck here.
A moment passed, and a sudden loud blasting echoed out in the immediate area, a pair of hyper-successive shots erupting from Nero's revolver. Eyes turned to meet Alexander, him having the Blue Rose pointed in the air and emitting a small flag of gun smoke. "Alright," Alexander began, subconsciously channeling Nero's personality, "Whatever bullshit's started between you dorks over here-" He pointed out the trio consisting of the fairy, the wizard, and the dragon. "-you can knock it off. Else I might go ahead and knock you off," He topped off, now pointing the Blue Rose much more threateningly.
"Um... hello."
Nick turned his head towards the voice. It was link. Huh, apparently link was a female. Suddenly, it felt as though hundreds of Legend of Zelda Fanboys cried out in rage. He chuckled a bit at this. A female Link wasn't something most LoZ fanboys were too keen on. At least, not any of the ones he had met anyways. Maybe he had just always met shitty people. Personally, he didn't care too much. LoZ games were likely to be good regardless. Except for those...CD-i games. But we don't talk about those. Well, whatever. Getting to know these other people would probably be a good idea. Well, not the idiots fighting. He didn't exactly want a part of that.
Unless explosions somehow got involved. Explosions were cool.
"Hi there!" Ugh. That pink puffballs voice sounded sickeningly adorable. That was going to annoy him a bit. "So your Link huh?'" Good job, master of the obvious. "Any idea what's going on? That last thing I remember is choosing Kirby on a screen, then falling asleep, and then I woke up in this adorable body. Oh and my leg isn't broken anymore!"
So, it seemed that...either this was a really elaborate dream, or something fishy was going on here and a bunch of people got dragged into this place after playing that game. This person chose Kirby, that girl chose Link, and he had chosen Gaige...goddamn it. If he had known this was gonna happen, he'd at least have chosen Brick. Or maybe the Gunzerker...what was his name? Salvador. Yeah, Salvador. Hell, actually, he'd probably chose a character form a different game entirely.
He sighed, pretty set on just ignoring them for now. Not like he was going to get friendly with them anyways. He'd just sit here until something major happened. Like, whoever dragged him here showing up so he can punch it in the face and make it send him back. Unfortunately, it seemed like he was feeling a bit...twitchy? Eh, not exactly the right word but sitting here doing nothing was actually starting to be a bit...annoying? Like, he wanted to get up and move and do something. Well...he could probably introduce himself to Link and the puffball.
He stood, brushing some of the sand and dirt off of his new clothes - a bit careful of his new assets. He was not going to be going anywhere near those unless he absolutely had too. After stretching his arms, he walked over to where Kirby and Link were.
"So...same thing happened to you guys, huh?"
He asked Link and Kirby as he approached, walking over with DT floating behind him seeming a bit interested in the fight going on, probably ready to teach all of those morons a lesson if they even attempted to injure him. He wondered if there was a time limit on having him summoned, like in the game? Eh, he'd figure it out later. "I mean, this like ain't a dream right? Because if it's not, then this goddamn sucks." He complained. The language being used seemed a bit out of place, since he now had Gaige's voice. In the game, she had a bounty of 82 billion for messing with Illegal technology and excessive adorability...her voice included. He really hoped he hadn't picked up any of Gaiges personality, other than the voice. "Seriously, I had a whole lot of nothing to be doing right now...except, maybe a hot shower or something followed by chips and salsa."
"Alright, Whatever bullshit's started between you dorks over here you can knock it off. Else I might go ahead and knock you off,"
He turned his head back to the fight. A new guy had shown up. Didn't recognize him all that much either, though he looked vaguely familiar. Well, if they wanted to kill each other, cool. Wasn't his problem. He'd have DT break them up before they caused any serious damage if they got any more violent.
Alton head turned to face Alexander at the sound of the gunshot. Still staring at him through the dark eyes of the mask, Alton stood up and spoke. "Okay then, mate. Settle down. I appreciate you stopping the fight, but we don't need death threats complicating things further." He started walking towards Alexander. "I think we're all confused enough as it is, so why don't you put the gun down, and maybe we can figure this out without, without fighting. He shot a look at the fairy, wolf and mage as he spoke his last words.
He stopped two steps in front of Alexander, holding his bat ready in his right hand. Somewhere in the back of his mind, Alton wanted a fight so he would have an excuse to release the stress building up inside of him.
"I'm... what?"
Carmen took a moment to process everything Kirby said. She was Link? By the look of it she definitely seemed to be wearing a green tunic. And it felt like she was carrying a lot more than usual. Not to mention that weird sense she got that things were different. Maybe she was Link after all. What else did Kirby say? No, maybe they weren't Kirby. This person picked Kirby on a screen and turned into him. In that fangame she'd started before falling asleep, Carmen had chosen to play as Link, and seemed to be some weird mix of Link and herself now. It made sense to think this Kirby person had probably downloaded the same game. So was that the cause of all this? The possibility was no more unbelievable than anything else going on right now. Wasn't there another thing the Kirby person said? Something about a broken leg. Carmen was still too overwhelmed by everything else to try to make sense of it. She hoped it wasn't important.
Another girl approached and asked if the same thing had happened to them. So she'd also played that fangame and turned into the character she'd chosen. Carmen looked her over, trying to figure out who she was. She got the feeling she'd seen her somewhere before, but couldn't place where. That robot behind her gave off the same faint feeling of familiarity.
"I don't think it's a dream." No, she was sure it wasn't. This was for real. It had to be, as impossible as it seemed. She didn't really know why, but she was confident about that.
Before she could give it much more consideration, her train of thought was cut off by a loud bang. She turned toward the source and saw another vaguely familiar-looking person trying to break up the fight. With a threat. Probably not the best way. She idly wished there would be someone else who looked familiar outright. Someone she could recognize in an instant, instead of just this vague sense.
Another person replied to the threat. More of that same faint familiar feeling. At the very least, she knew she'd seen that rooster mask somewhere before. She glanced over at the people fighting to see if she could recognize any of them now that she was more aware of her surroundings. Two of them she didn't even have that vague sense she had with the others. The other one... Cirno, maybe? But he looked to be a boy. Some mix of Cirno and whoever chose her, probably. After all, Link was a boy, and she was still a girl. There was precedent for that sort of thing happening. In any case, the masked person had the right idea. Figuring things out would certainly be easier without fighting. But something gave Carmen the sense that he almost wanted the battle to continue.
Hayate opened his eyes with a light yawn, the last thing he could remember was being at his computer and clicking on something that was a character select, everything past that was a foggy mess in his head. He blinked a few times and began to survery his surroundings, for some reason his room was really bright, not only that but his room was a completely different color. He went to throw off the blankets that would usually be on him, but instead he was welcomed with nothing but air. It was at that point in which he finally adjusted to the scene around him, after blinking several times he realized he was not in his room anymore, rather he was in some foreign place, that was crowded by a bunch of foreign people, some being very familiar characters that he recognized from various media's. It was at this moment he also realized there was no floor but rather than freaking out he saw that everyone else was just fine and the feeling of falling was not present, so Immediately he took it as natural and did not make a big deal about it.
It was at this point Hayate just scoffed and shut his eyes. 'It's only a dream I'll wake up sooner or later and be back in my room.' he stood there with his eyes closed for a good amount of time before slowly opening his eyes. 'I am still here...' He sighed somewhat loudly as he unfolded his arms.「There's no use in denying it, it seems this is reality.」With that in mind he slowly approached the group of people and looked upon them, putting some names to faces he knew. 'Link...wait female Link...Kirby...Jacket...Nero...' He continued on naming who he could but soon stopped once he had named all the people he could. 'that leaves four people I do not know.'
Hayate quietly watched as some fighting ensued, there were a few spectators and some others that were trying to break up the fight. Obviously Hayate became one of the spectators to the marvel before him. This whole experience was surreal and honestly he still thought it was a dream.
I spectated the group of people, they didn't notice me nor do I intend them to. I tried to ignore what they were saying...I could tell they felt so out of place and yet so happy in their current forms. But...I just felt hopeless, but I didn't know exactly why. I felt fine, my bodily functions were working correctly and yet...it felt so wrong. I'd hope this feeling could soon disappear, but I don't think it will. My memories are beginning to return but...not so quickly. The only thing that I do remember is that my companion is called The Voice, it supposedly can detect health statistics but...it cannot detect my current state I am in.
As I try to regain my thought of trace I focus on one specific male in the group, the Faery. It is to my knowledge that he is of the Travelers light an unknown form of the light he is odd. ' Oh god... ' and as I wearily walk closer towards the group my hand appears to be in a pocket within the cloak I wore but instead it was a gun. Even if I was overly cautious you can't be too safe. Finally, I ignore that I am sort of absent from my real personality. It was my chance to regain the life I had forgotten and this may be the first step...to ask questions. " Hi... " I said moderately, worrying that I would interrupt something. Oddly I think it wasn't my thing to speak...it felt so odd but yet again, I don't exactly know who I am nor what I am doing within this void.
After witnessing the freezing powers of the fairy charging at him Dan's urge to stab him only increased. Because he also really didn't want to kill anyone, he tried using the teleportation powers he apparently didn't have. "Well at least I now know I'm the Jacspers Noirlecrow version. Wait didn't I choose him for a game or something? Ugh once again not the time."
While he was lost in thought some guy with a gun and sword had made himself the center of attention by firing in the air, "Yeah, okay, whatever,I don't know what the crap is happening, but I'd like nothing to do with it, thank you.You can knock it off. Else I might go ahead and knock you off" The nerve of that guy trying order Dan Noir around, well at least that gun would make a practical trophy.
"I don't take orders from anyone, graveyardstuffer!"" Having completely forgotten about both the Popsicle fairy and the fact that he didn't want to kill, Dan Noir flew at the gunner.
