|Morgan and Maryanne|
Maryanne's Mystic Shop to Huskers

Upon Morgan's entrance to the shop, Dianne gasped and turned to tug on Maryanne's blouse as she turned heel. "What?" Maryanne said towards Dianne then looked past her at Morgan. Her eyes looked down at Dianne with a nod then walked around the counter to give Morgan a brief hug. "We're all doing good. April problems, again. But good." She stood there with her hands clenched together and over her stomach, in a greeting manner. "So, how about you? How are have you been, hun?" Maryanne asked with a bright smile. "Oh, come." She waved her hand towards the curtain that lead to the back of the store - The stock room of some sorts. "Dianne, watch the store and call me if you need help." Maryanne said while leading Morgan towards the back, sitting down at her desk and looking up at Morgan. "So, what's up? I hope you bring good news and not bad or tragic news, Morgan." She said while leaning in her chair, folding her legs and resting her arms upon the arm rest.

Morgan smiled at the reply, nodding slightly at Dianne before following after Maryanne quietly. Her hand grappled noiselessly within her bag until the familiar, leather-bound cover of her dream journal was found. As Maryanne sat down she swayed before the desk, eyes drooping lazily down at her feet before she removed the journal from her bag,

"I'm... Not sure if it could be of use to anyone or not, yet, but it's made me rather uncomfortable." Whatever bits of it Morgan could remember, that is. She slowly flipped over to her most recent entry and placed the book on the desk, shuffling to and fro on her feet while a light smile blesses her lips, "sorry if the description is a bit, er, graphic."

The page of the journal was scribbled hastily, but Morgan's handwriting, being naturally neat, formed coherent words after just a glance. The page was half-full, and most of it contained run on sentences and some frantic punctuation and spelling. The journal begins detailing the person Morgan had seen, the tall, thin creature with fiery hair and glowing green eyes. Whether he was vampire or not wasn't clear, though Morgan assumed him to be of the occult. He was covered in blood, from head to toe, and he was standing in front of a white rose bush. His hands would travel across the roses, painting them red, and each time a rose was completely drenched he would laugh and move to the next. The person Morgan had been looking through was distressed, trying to keep quiet, but they couldn't, and eventually the person turned towards their hiding spot and grinned. The dream and the journal ended there, as abruptly as she remembered.

"This person I saw, they could be dangerous the us, right?" Morgan questioned curiously, twiddling her thumbs nervously.

Maryanne viewed Morgan with a slight raised brow as Morgan sat her journal onto the top of her desk. She leaned in with slight interest and began to look at the journal. Maryanne breathing slowed down by what she had saw in Morgan's journal and she wanted to slam it shut but then again, that would've been a bit rude to the young witch. She was completely at a lost for words and was glad to see the image finish. She leaned back into her seat again, letting Morgan's question sink into her mind before coming up with a response.

"Might be. Too hard to tell right now." Was the only thing Maryanne whispered. "But you must keep this classified and if you have any more visions like this bring them to me, pronto. Understood?" She muttered towards Morgan then stood up while straightening out her clothes. "You need to get your mind off of this, I assume. How about I treat you to lunch at Husker's?" Maryanne inquired as she loved taking care of her young witches. She grabbed her purse and slung it on her shoulder then walked back out to the main area.

"Come, Dianne. We're going to lunch." Maryanne said while walking over towards the door, locking it and putting up the sign that said that they were gone to lunch. "Come on, ladies. We can walk there, it's not far." Maryanne smiled while placing a pair of shades over her eyes and started walking down the main strip, away from her shop.

Morgan nodded upon hearing Maryanne's insight, and after quietly listening to her instructions she nodded again, gathering up her journal delicately. As she slipped the book back into her tote the older witch offering her lunch, and instantly she smiled brightly,

"Oh, that would be lovely!" She said with excitement, back straightening almost instantly as Maryanne rose from the desk. All thoughts of breakfast and work were lost as she simply imagined the delicious, free food she was about to dig into, and with a carefree smile she followed after the coven leader with a skip in her step. The walk towards the main strip was short, and the autumn breeze was rich with leaves and chilling aromas. Fall was Morgan's favorite season, not too hot and not too cool, and Samhain was just around the corner! Despite her lone wolf ways when it came to coven work, she could always find time to love holiday chanting and dancing among the tombstones.

it would be better if we could practice our skills outside of the cemetery though

The three witches eventually arrived at the front of the restaurant, and already Morgan could smell the food from within. She glanced up at Maryanne slightly, "thank you for this, by the way..."

As they neared the restaurant, Maryanne's stomach grumbled in protest. She eyed Morgan, who thanked her for lunch as she smiled. "No problem. I have to keep my witches happy, right?" She snickered a little bit while choosing a table near the window that had three chairs placed there. Maryanne raised her arm up and snapped her fingers together. "Can we get some service?" She questioned a bit loudly while looking at the lunch menu already placed on their table. She hoped not embarrass Morgan and Dianne at lunch but we shall see how things shall turn out for them.

Melanie West
Huskers Restaurant

Melanie was leaning back in her seat looking around at a few of the guests who were in the restaurant, extremely happy that it was actually her day off. Closing her eyes Melanie took in the scents of everything around her, clearly smelling the amazing cooking from the kitchen of course picking up the scents of a few of her coworkers watching Alva taking a few orders from another werewolf easily picking up his scent. Though she hadn't met him before she seen him around New Orleans while walking on the sidewalk or around some stores down Main Street never really having the time to strike up a conversation with him.

Melanie's eyes continued to scan the dining room of Huskers seeing a woman wearing a black dress and a black coat hanging over the back of the chair in the far left side of Husker's away from the windows instantly assuming that this woman was a vampire. Melanie could hear a bit of a conversation between another of her coworker's Levi talking to another guest, then Alva coming to talk to Levi in the kitchen, then a few minutes later watching Levi going over towards the bar and turning on an NFL game.

"Hi. Saw you were sitting alone and thought that wasn't right. May I join you?" Melanie quickly shook her head turning to look up at Nefertari, a very attractive woman and instantly picking up the scent of blood which was what vampires usually smelled like to her from her past dealings with vampires. Never disliking them and being friendly enough Melanie smiled at Nefertari pushing a chair out with her foot and motioned her to sit. "I'd love the company, and wouldn't turn down someone who is attractive." Melanie flirted a bit taking a sip of her Rum and Coke.

Nate Caterini - Husker's

The world was quite simple if you just acted like Nate did, as the outsider looking in at the world that could care less about your issues. Most people only seemed to care for themselves and how they could use the guy next to them. There was a wonderful example currently in the bar right now, that vampire hitting on the human. Any occult worth their salt could sense that the boy was a virgin in more ways than one;indeed, the boy was clearly in over his head. The funny thing was that he had no idea what had just happened to him. This kid, who Nate had inferred was named Levi due to his sources, had just hit on him, failed miserably, and now was without a doubt hatching some little scheme to get the poor guy. That was how those ,literally godforsaken, creatures worked. If they did not get their way, then blood would coat the streets. Nate was quite knowledgeable in how monstrous those things were. One could argue, and win, that Nate was barely even human right now. Course he would counter with the fact that the vampires were even less of humans than he was. Werewolves did not go around butchering whole families in front of their children. For all Nate knew, this vamp in the room had been there or was a player in the extermination of his entire family. It was a shame that the vampire was a soulless monster; otherwise, Nate would have hit on him. Even Nate had standards which really said a lot.

The vampire was an evil thing, but his human prey was completely different. There were numerous different scents surrounding the poor thing. Nate could smell alcohol on his cloths and that was not from a bar or from drinking it himself. Nate could tell that there was someone in the boy's life that drank a lot. There were some perks to being a partial monster.

Now it was his chance to get with the boy. Course he would not ask him out on day one; on the other hand, that would be nice. Nate also could not use his pheromones since he could smell at least one vamp in the room. Usually there were more than one of the things in an area. They would be able to smell his scent from a mile away and that would give away the lack of morphine as well. So it was his job to be suave and southern. He could do both easily and so he sprung his plan.

Nate waved the boy over and waited till he came over. Once there, he gave him the classic Caterini smile. People had been known to melt at such a smile. Nate just wanted to appear normal. "That guy giving ya any trouble? Some people will do anything to get what they want." He said with his thick drawl as thick as molasses in the freezer.

"What is your special? Oh and your name. I would take either." He said controlling his body right now in more ways than one.

Nefertari and Melanie West

Huskers Resturant

Nefertari had to grin to herself. The cute werewolf was welcoming her to join her. "Why thank you gorgeous," she said and sat down, setting her glass of wine on a coaster. "I don't believe I've had the pleasure of meeting you before. However, that may be my fault. My job does tend to lead to having odd hours and honestly, no free time. My name is Nefertari, what is yours?" She asked, looking over the woman.

"Its nice to meet you Nefertari, I'm Melanie West but most of my friends just call me Mel for short." Melanie smiled taking a sip from her drink before setting it down. "I don't think I have seen you around either. But then again I mainly work nights here, and perform here sometimes." Looking into Nefertai's eyes. "Where do you work if you don't mind me asking?"

Nefertari grimaced a bit. "I don't think you honestly want to know. Most people when they find out where I work just kinda walk away," she said with a sigh. It was hard to find someone to go on a date with after the mention of being a mortician came up. To be fair it was an odd job, and usually very morbid, but hey, someone had to do it. "So you work here huh? Having some lunch before work starts, or just have a day off?" Nefertari asked curiously, turning her attention back to Mel. "By the way, you can call me Neffy if it's easier. I do realize I have a rather unique and unusual name."

"You can tell me if you want to, I honestly don't judge. I didn't mind you joining me and we just met." Melanie smiled, she really never judged anyone for what they did for a living. "It's just my day off here, I decided why not get something to eat after doing some shopping and I get a discount since I work here. Nefertari is a pretty name, but Neffy does sound a whole lot easier to say."

Neffy sighed. "I'm a mortician," she said, taking a sip of her wine. "The only thing I'll get a discount on is a coffin," she said with a laugh. "Must be nice to work in a place like this."

Melanie knew she smelled something else other then the blood, from the bodies she must have worked on back at the morgue. "Sounds like a pretty interesting job." Melanie said, leaning forward slightly. "Its a good job, but the pay isn't that much to live off of from paycheck to paycheck pretty much. But really good people; we are almost a family sort of."

"I know that feeling. You think making people pretty for a living would pay better, but..." Nefertari shrugged, sipping her wine. She seemed to spot someone walking in and waved over at Morgan and smiled. "Sorry, just spotted one of my housemates," she said. "Don't worry, I don't plan on leaving you alone pretty lady," she said with a wink. "What am I doing? I barely know this girl and I'm already saying things like that? Man... Az was right. I do need to find a girl. But a werewolf? I mean, there's a lot of risks there," Neffy thought to herself as she took another sip of her wine. "Did you order some food already? I do believe you said you were getting something to eat."

Melanie looked over to one of the girls that Neffy was waving to, seeing that she was accompanied by two others. "No need to apologize." Melanie blushed slightly and smiled at Neffy's compliment, lightly tucking a stray strand of her hair behind her ear. "And I must thank you for the company." Melanie thought for a moment. Flirting with a vampire never came to mind one bit, and she knew also that it was risky. "I was yes, let me buy you something after all took the time to come here and keep me company."

"I'll pass. I have allergies and usually eat my own pre-packed lunch." This was a lie, but Nefertari didn't know if Mel knew she was a vampire or not. "I just mostly ducked in here to get a drink on my break. Its been one hell of a morning," she said with a small laugh. "But, let me do the honor of buying you lunch since you did let me sit with you."

"Thank you, and are you sure? I mean I know you need blood but I know some of you do eat regular food." Melanie whispered the last bit to Neffy and smiled. "Then at least let me buy you another drink. I don't want you to pay if you need a refill."

Nefertari smirked. "I guess I underestimated your nose. I'm a bit more old school than some of the others," she said with a chuckle. "Well I guess we can drop the facade a bit then," she added. "And sure. I'll pay for your lunch and you pay for my drink. Sounds fair."

Melanie chuckled slightly. "Well, we are known to have really good noses." Melanie nodded. "Sounds good to me then, so what did you want to talk about, and how much time do you have on your break left?"

Nefertari pulled out her phone and sighed. "Apparently none. Car accident victims just got cleared. However, I do get off at six. Maybe I can upgrade that lunch to dinner?" She asked with a hopeful smile. "I know a great steak place. Okay, it's here, but still."

Melanie sighed slightly enjoying the company but smiled. "Dinner it is then, I'll get you whatever you want tonight. And you can watch me sing tonight as well, so I'll be here when you come in." Melanie winked.

"I look forward to it then." Nefertari smiled, and pulled a card out of her purse and handed it to Mel. "Here is my number and e-mail, just in case. You never know when something will come up. And if I am late, please do understand it is most likely because something came up, and not because I don't want to see your pretty face again," she said and smiled, returning the wink.

Melanie watched Nefertari taking out a card from her purse and gently took it from Neffy, and looking down at the number and email printed onto it. "Thank you lovely, and I'll be sure to text you later for our date." Melanie said playfully and stood up taking her cup and finished up her drink. "I'll see you tonight then."

"I'll see you then," Nefertari said, leaning in and giving Mel a kiss on the cheek. "And if all goes well, there will be more than that," she said and giggled walking off. She felt a bit like a young girl again, but it had been a while since she had persued an actual relationship. It was fun!

Levi DiCaliente - Huskers Restaurant

@Avanhelsing

"That guy giving ya any trouble? Some people will do anything to get what they want."

“No!” Levi blushed, looking away from the hunk infront of him; trying to contain his physical ‘excitement’ “-He’s fine, I’m fine; we’re all fine!”

Levi chuckled as he scrubbed a beer glass with a deeply orange stained wash rag that had looked to be older than the restaurant itself; meanwhile the mysterious stranger had took notice of Levi’s timid demeanor and one would only assume he found it cute.

"What is your special? Oh and your name, I would take either."

Levi giggled and gawked at the southern belle before him, turning away from the bar to maintain his composure before promptly answering his question.

“I can’t tell if you’re joking or not…” Levi smiled and quirked his head in a playful way as he placed an empty glass onto the coaster adjacent to the man, “-This morning, our special is a Southern Coffee Cocktail; it contains: 1 oz. espresso, 1 oz. vodka and whipped caramel cream.”

Once Levi had finished reciting the ingredients, his eyes quickly darted away from the handsome man sitting before him; Levi didn’t know if it was his way of playing ‘hard-to-get’ or if it was purely an instinctual defense mechanism his body had conjured up to keep himself forever single, either way the man appeared interested.

“Eh, it’s Levi by the way.” He managed to choke out, displaying a deeper rosy color on his cheeks; his heart felt it was going to beat out of his chest as he awaited a reply.

Jacobi Ayers & John Laveau

Last night was literally a blast. Jacobi and his roommate, John, threw an awesome party that ended at the stroke of two o'clock in the morning. Jacobi cleaned up the house before falling into bed and feeling someone come up behind him and wrap their arms around him. Maybe it was the guy that he has been flirting with the whole entire night or maybe it was the other guy. He didn't know so he just shrugged his shoulders and brought whoever it was closer to him and moved closer into their embrace.

Jacobi woke up the next morning with a smile on his face, eyes fluttering open wide. He released himself from the mystery's man embrace and got out of the bed, stretching his arms up in the air and letting out a yawn. Jacobi turned heel and found out that his roommate was the one cuddling him last night. A brow raised up as he didn't want to question anything that happened between them last night. Confused, he turned heel and exited his room and went into the kitchen, starting on breakfast. Jacobi only had on his sleeping shorts from last night and was completely shirtless. While starting on breakfast, he honestly hoped that this doesn't change anything between him and Jack as he would wait until Jack was up to ask about last night.

It was rare for John to have such a great night as the night before. John usually would just go to sleep early if he did not have work to do. That usually meant having to go to the cemetery or at the very least sleeping in. At 2 am he had stumbled into bed. He didn’t even know which bed he had fallen into and he definitely did not know who was in the bed either. He didn’t really care enough to try and figure it out. However, his body had decided to embrace the man and he fell asleep soon after.

John looked around the room as he felt the mystery man wake up and move away from the bed. John looked up groggily and saw the back of his roommate leaving the room. John had no idea what to do with this and all he knew was that he needed to get some clothes on. All he had on currently was a pair of jeans and it seemed Jake had almost less on. John got up and walked into the kitchen and leaned against the door frame before he spoke up.

“So… Uhh… Last night. Did we do anything other than sleep next to each other? Not that it wasn’t great but it was a bit odd.” He said with a smile looking over at the other man.

“Course if you ever want to do that again, just ask.” John added with a smile.

Jacobi heard approaching footsteps and immediately became a bit scared as he hoped that John wasn't going to go off on him. A load of lies filled his mind that he could tell to John but with his demeanor, leaning against the door frame and smiling, Jacobi could tell that there was no need for lies. "Uhm, I am not sure, John." Jacobi said while breakfast was almost ready and he started fixing himself and John a plate. Hearing John's last words sent a shiver up his spine and made the hairs on the back of his neck stand up. Jacobi turned to eye John with the nod of his head. "I'll be sure to ask." He winked while walking over towards the table and sitting the two plates down.

"Oh, so when are we throwing our next party? Last night was a bit overboard but hell, I enjoyed myself." Jacobi inquired while getting the proper utensils needed to eat the prepared breakfast as he even grabbed two cup and the carton of orange juice, sitting down and handing John his utensils though pouring the orange juice into John's cup for him. Jacobi started eating on his breakfast, hoping that things from recent events between him and John doesn't destroy their friendship.

John liked to think that he was a reasonable person and honestly he would not complain about what happened the night before. He did not think that there was anything really wrong with what had happened, so he was a bit confused about why Jakobi seemed to be so anxious about it. "I doubt we did anything more. I still have my jeans on." He said as he sat down at the table and watched his roommate cook. Usually all the cooking was his job but he could make an exception today. He was still in a good mood from the night before.

"Well I was thinking next week. We call up everyone we know. Maybe those two guys who were hiting on you." He added. "We should talk about last night. You are still my friend. If I am being honest you are rather good looking so I count last night as a win." He said as he ate his food. John was always saying what was on his mind no matter the cost or the effect. It was who he was.

"So tell me! How many guys were fawning over you last night?" He asked trying to change the subject.

"I doubt we did too but..." Jacobi's eyes scanned over John's body with a smirk as he laughed. "Just kidding, John." His ears twitched when John mentioned those two guys from earlier as Jacobi gulped hard. "Yeah, about that, they were really asking about you." Jacobi then stuffed his mouth full of breakfast in the attempt to not answer anymore questions. Again though, he gulped hard. "But I had zero guys flaunt over me last night. All of them were asking about you. I'm kind of use to it though." A little sad expression there as Jacobi cleared his throat, grabbed his plate and cup then proceeded to get up and walk over towards the sink. His eyes stared out of the small window before him as he turned towards John again. "So, what are your plans for the day?" He inquired while walking back over towards the table, towering over it as he awaited an answer. "I might just spend my time at Madam Ayers shop. Ain't nothing else for me to do." Jacobi commented while staring at John.

John laughed a bit at that, "I did not know you lied to me. There is no way that they were asking for me over you!" He said clearly not believing it. He looked over at his friend and stood up to look Jacobi. "Funny thing is that I had two people asking me about who you were and if you were dating. I told them that you were single and they did not believe me at all. " He continued as he walked up next to his friend. "You gotta be confident! Every guy would want someone like you!" He said pushing Jacobi's shoulder. "Well I have a day full of cooking for the ancestors so we are gonna be eating well tonight. You could help me cook? " He asked smiling again placing a hand on his shoulder. He hated seeing Jacobi like this. His friend was better than this.

Jacobi know that John hated seeing him like this and he's usually confident within himself but everyone has insecurities, even witches. "What? Dude, really?" He became a bit happy again as John said something about guys asking if he was single or something. "Did you get me numbers? Anything?!" He then placed his hands on John, shaking him. "Details! I need details!" Jacobi blushed at John's words then turned away from him, hearing his next few words and question then turning around again. "Sure, I'd love to help you out. I mean, why not?" Jacobi smiled as he looked around the place. "You go grocery shopping and I'll get the place cleaned up?" Jacobi eyed John, wondering if he'd like to clean up instead and have him go grocery shopping instead. Either way, it was up to him.

John nodded as it seemed Jake was getting better. "Yes really. I am your wingman so of course I got their numbers! You owe me for this." He said as he pulled out a list he had kept for his friend. "Jake... We have magic..." he said as he nodded towards the broom closet. "I did place that spell helps us clean up. I need to head to the market to get all my food if we are gonna be cooking. Why don't we both go out?" He asked as he grabbed his shirt and pulled in on quickly. "I have a good feeling about going there." He said with a smirk.

Jacobi grabbed the list of numbers and clasped it tightly in his hand. "Uhm, maybe you should just go alone and I stay here just in case anyone shows up a bit earlier than expected." Jacobi said with a reassuring nod as he waved his hand at the broom closet and watched it open then out came the broom, dustpan, mop and mop bucket. "I can get use to this." Jacobi smirked a little while looking at John. "Hope you remember what to get." Jacobi turned heel and walked over to the fridge, taking a list of grocery items off of it and handing it to John. "In case you forgot, you know." He smiled a bit warmly towards him then waved him off so that he could be on his way.

Melanie West
Huskers Restaurant

"I'll see you then, and if all goes well, there will be more than that." Melanie couldn't help but blush when Neffy kissed her on the cheek and couldn't help but keep a smile away from forming. Melanie watched as Neffy started to leave Huskers it had been so long since she actually had a relationship, the last time she had was when she was human she never thought about being with a vampire either given how both Occults hated one another. "I will see you tonight!" Melanie called out just as the door closed behind Neffy. Tucking a stray strand of hair once more away from her face Melanie turned back to sitting down at her table still smiling.

Melanie looked down at the card that Neffy had given her, and took out her phone putting the number into her phone deciding to give Neffy a quick text. "It's Melanie, i'll pick you up tonight. :)" She hit send putting her phone back into her pocket, watching as a waitress came over. "What can I get you Melanie?" The waitress asked, knowing the menu already without even looking and knew what she wanted. "I'll have some steak and some fries." Melanie said handing the menu back to her coworker and watched as she left, looking over her shoulder seeing Levi at the bar and got up to say hi to him. "Hey Levi, how are you today?"

Jackson Jones & Nefertari

Jackson had finished his breakfast at Husker's and got up from his seated position, leaving a twenty dollar bill on the table then walking up to the counter. "It was excellent as always, everyone. See you next time." He waved them all goodbye then exited Husker's. 'Hm.' He thought to himself as it has been awhile since he visited the morgue and might as well make a trip there. With the shrug of his shoulders, Jackson glanced at his wristwatch at the time then got inside of his vehicle and drove over towards the morgue, which was a decent drive from Husker's.

Upon entering the parking lot of the morgue, Jackson felt a pull of lifeless bodies come over him. It seemed like things were going to be busy for Neffy, a cute nickname for Nefertari, soon as he could just feel it. He waltzed right on into the morgue like he owned the place and asked to speak to Nefertari. Of course, hating to wait, he just went and looked her, himself. "Neffy!" He called out as his voice was soft and delicate, at times but when he yelled, it roared like a lion protecting his pride.

Jackson waited until Neffy made herself visible to him before asking. "Anything new for me?" He'd raise a slight brow while his piercing stare eyed her for a moment.

Nefertari looked at Jackson and sighed, adjusting the glasses on her brow. "Mr. Jones... to what do I own the pleasure?" She asked, walking out of one of the rooms, the one that held the bodies being prepped for funerals. She paused. "Anything new for you? Hmmm... mostly just clean up, but that paperwork should be on the way to you. Or someone. Or V. I'm never sure where it goes," she said and looked over the younger vampire.

"Is there anything else I can do for you today? The dead arn't going to get up and prep themselves, y'know," she said with a chuckle, taking off her glasses and tucking them into her pocket.

Jackson eyed Neffy as she made herself appear before him now. He mentally licked his lips as he eyed her. "Yeah, I been got the papers." Jackson replied as he stepped behind the counter but one of Neffy's assistants stopped him. Jackson raised a brow at them then smiled. "Sweetheart, do you not know who I am?" The little girl shrugged her shoulders as Jackson chuckled with a nod of his head and reached, snapping her neck then stepping over her. "Sorry, Neffy, she asked for it." Jackson pleaded a bit while responding to her question.

"Yeah, I know. I am looking for a body..." He paused as he walked closer to her now with a smirk. "Or maybe I just came to see you." Jackson's chest almost met hers until he walked past her, walking around the morgue now.

Nefertari growled as Jackson snapped her assistants neck. "Hey! You can't come into my morgue and just do that! Great... she was one of the competent ones too," she said and looked at Jackson and crossed her arms over her chest. Her eyes flashed red at Jackson, letting him know that she was was very displeased by his actions. "So if you came to see me, you know we have these things called cell phones right? I'm pretty sure you could have called to give me a head up. I would have made some time," she said.

"And if you did come here looking for a body, give me a name, and I can look it up. Provided you're not going to leave me more bodies to put on my list. I do have plans later, for once," she said and sighed. "And apparently now I'm going to be late since I'm going to have to deal with my assistants sudden lack of pulse, no thanks to you," she spat out bitterly, glowering at Jackson.

Jackson knew that he had made Nefertari mad but it served her right for breaking his heart a few centuries back. They were in love and did everything together until someone, Nefertari, didn't want to continue their love and dumped Jackson just like he was a sack of potatoes. Hearing her words brought back the old Jackson - A bit sinister and demonic. Different nature might do him some good around these parts of town.

"You know, you talk a lot of game, Neffy but never do anything about it." Jackson smirked after those words then sort of back her up against a nearby wall. "You know, I do miss you. Even though you did dump me." He leaned in for a kiss but stopped halfway, just enough for her to feel his hot breath against her lips. "Neffy, come on, let's be together again. We shall prevail and dominate again." Jackson turned to look at Nefertari with a small smile. "What do you say?" He asked of her then raised a brow up towards her.

"Just because you've forgotten what it was like once to be human, doesn't mean I have Jackson. You forget why I did break up with you. Especially after what you did to those children," Nefertari growled at Jackson. "Besides, I know how you love. I'm not interested in sharing that bed. Again," she said.

"And honestly, if you're still mad about that break up, you sure haven't been acting like that recently. Like I don't know about how you've been eyeing the boy at Husker's. Or that girl from the other week," she said, easily shoving aside the younger vampire.

"Besides, domination with you means I have to be your slave too. Not interested," she said and narrowed her eyes. "Now, honestly, if that is all you came here for, then get the hell out. I'll be requesting that V send someone else to manage the morgue paperwork if you're going to be such an asshole."

Jackson eyed Nefertari as she spoke about why she broke up with him. "Hey, those children had it coming and you know it." He snapped while pointing his index finger at her then heard her growl. "My bed is always shareable for you." Jackson winked towards her then scoffed when she mentioned Levi from Husker's or Jasmyn from the Voodoo Shop two weeks ago. She always knew how to tear him down just when he was getting back up. "It'll be better this time, Neffy." He tried to plead towards her then heard her say asshole.

Jackson eyed Nefertari as he walked closer to her again, whispering in her ear. "I will have you again." He then punched the filing cabinet and kicked her assistant's lifeless body before making his exit. "If you need me, you know where to reach me." Jackson finally left the morgue and got inside of his car, throwing small punches into the steering wheel before cranking up the engine and driving away.

Jackson Jones &Melanie West
Alleyway Near the French Quarter

An enraged Jackson was never a good thing for anyone that crosses his path. But only one person was on his mind at the moment - Mel. He smelt her scent on Nerfertari as he grew closer to her in the morgue but didn't speak upon it since he didn't want to further anger her. His sights were set on Mel for messing around with his lover, well ex lover now. Jackson drove past Husker's and parked his car, waiting for Mel to leave the building as he eyed her through the window.

Jackson was going to eventually take back what is rightfully his and that prize was Nefertari. One way or another.

Melanie sat at her table enjoying her lunch while looking around at the customers who were also enjoying their lunch. She had finished a lot of her lunch before she ended up getting full, she also wanted to save her appetite for her dinner with Nefertari tonight. Melanie asked one of her co-workers for a check and a box for her left overs, when the waiter came back Melanie paid and left a little tip before getting out of her seat.

Melanie opened the front door making her way towards her car, opening the door she got in putting her left overs in the front passenger seat slipping her keys into the ignition and started her car heading back towards her house, unaware that she was being followed.

Jackson eyes peered towards Melanie as she finally exited Husker's. Jackson looked down at his wristwatch with a slight smirk. "Perfect timing." He whispered to himself while putting his gear shift in drive and following behind her. Jackson tried to keep his distance but of course, they was going to fail since everyone around town knew what he drove.

As soon as they came across a red light and Jackson knew then that he had to do something and do it now. So, he pulled up beside Melanie and got out of his car, making a trek over towards hers and elbowing her window in, shattering it. Jackson then reached inside of the vehicle to grab Melanie and drag her through the window then place her onto the street. "Alright, you little bitch. You brought this upon yourself." Jackson spoke through clenched teeth. "Let's do this." He'd add before getting in a defensive stance, waiting to see her reaction to the whole spectacle.

As Melanie continued to drive down the street she turned on the radio listening to some music as she drove, when she came around the corner Mel stopped right at the stop light. She sat there watching as the other drivers drove through the intersection. What she didnt expect was Jackson parking his car right next to her's, Melanie screamed in surpise as her driver's side window was shattered.

Melanie struggled against Jackson as he dragged her out of the window some of the jagged edges of the broken glass cutting into her arms slightly, and then being slammed onto the ground. "What the fucking hell is your problem?!" Melanie snapped quickly getting back up onto her feet looking at her bloodied arm and then glaring smelling the familiar scent of the vampire in front of her. "I didn't do shit to you Sparkles." Melanie said not even getting into a fighting stance in fear of retaliation from the vampire's, she didnt want to fight anyone.

Jackson eyed Melanie after she asked what was his problem as he got out of his defensive stance for a moment. "You. You are my problem." He pointed his index finger towards her while speaking those words. "You stole the one thing from me that I ever loved and now, you must pay for actions." Jackson said while looking at Melanie with a raised brow. "Neffy didn't tell you about me and her, did she?" He breathed softly while looking at Melanie.

"You see, me and Neffy use to be together a long, long time ago and I would've revived our spark but you are the root cause as to why I cannot." Jackson said while clenching his fists. "So, now, I am going to get rid of you once and hopefully for all." He looked at Melanie to wait and see if his words were going to strike her to hit him or not.

Maybe Jackson was taking his anger and frustrations out on the wrong person but he wasn't thinking clearly right now so Melanie was his intial victim at the moment. She reeked of werewolf blood so he definitely had to be careful if this was going to escalate into a fight.

Melanie glared at Jackson as he answered her question, and pointing to her that she was the problem at first she thought it was because she was a werewolf. Then he brought up Nefertari. "And I can see why she would actually dump you're miserable ass, I just met her today." Melanie said taking a step closer towards him letting out what actually sounded like a growl.

She didn't want to fight, but she would defend herself if he attacked her. "I would at least know how to treat a woman right, I see you going around town flirting and talking with other women why not shove you're dick into one of your little call girls."

Jackson eyed Melanie as she called him miserable. He scoffed of course as his ears twitched when he heard her growl. 'Yes. Release that inner beast.' Jackson thought to himself as she continued on speaking. When she was done, Jackson eyed her again. "I shoved my dick in plenty of call girls in my day and when I finally want to settle down with someone, it's taken away from me by a washed up singer. Ha. Speaking of being miserable." Jackson retorted while not really wanting to argue but settle this with a fair fight, at least.

Melanie stared dow at Jackson when he called her as washed up singer, she roughly shoved Jackson out of the way. "I at least have a job, unlike you just go around flaunting that you are rich. And you are paying for my busted window." Melanie said turning around to face him once more. "And I might slip some of my werewolf blood into your next drink."

"I do not have to flaunt, sweetheart." Jackson said while hearing her say that he was paying for the broken window. He took out his wallet from his back pocket and took out a dollar bill, tossing it at her with a raised brow. "Is that how much it will cost?" A slight chuckled escaped over his lips as her next words escaped over her lips and that sent Jackson over the edge. He rushed over towards her and grabbed her by the throat, slamming her back first onto her car, staring into her eyes. "I'd like to see you try and do that, you littlt bitch. I can end you now." Jackson spoke fiercely while still holding her throat, his hand clenched around her throat with every single word.

Melanie glared at Jackson as he tossed her a single dollar bill her way, shaking her head and rolling her eyes Melanie was turning to make her way back to her car before letting out a gasp as she felt the air in her lungs leave her chest as she was slammed against the body of her car. Doing her best to try and breath gasping for air Melanie could see the anger in Jackson's eyes hearing his threat he did have her at an advantage now. Doing the only thing she could Melanie sent her left knee as hard as she could into Jackson's stomach and then used her right foot to kick Jackson between the legs.

Jackson knew that he had Melanie at an advantage and was loving it as he seethed a little bit. His eyes saw her knee coming for his stomach but he wasn't to quick to react as the grasp around her neck loosened as he coughed a little bit. Jackson saw her right foot going between his legs but deflected the move by rolling out of the way.

"Oh, the little werewolf got moves, eh?" People in cars behind them and beside them watched the display as people on the sidewalk even stopped. They were not worried about going to work, out to eat or whatever right now as a fight was bound to happen right before their eyes. "So, if it's fight you want, it's a fight you shall get."

Jackson unbuttoned his shirt and removed it as his slightly scarred body could be seen in full flesh now. "So, I guess we're doing this, right?" Now, Jackson took another defensive stance basically taunting Melanie now, telling her to bring by wiggling his fingers towards him. "Let's see what you got, pup." That had to be the icing the cake.

Melanie started gasping for air the moment Jackson released her neck after she landed a successful kick to his stomach. Melanie reached with her right hand for her car's outside view mirror to support her weight while using her left hand to gently massage her neck. Melanie turned her head to glare at Jackson letting out another growl doing her best just to keep the wolf side of her from coming out. How she really wanted to go out in a full rage and just snap the vampire's neck with one hand.

Melanie looked around seeing a few cars stopping and some bystanders stopping looking at the two of them, she noticed some were taking out their phones or video cameras hoping to get some action. Hoping that Jackson would see reason she stood up again taking a deep breath staring Jackson down as he unbottoned his shirt and getting into a defensive stance again.

When Jackson called her a pup she started to grip the side view mirror of her car tightly feeling the metal, plastic bending from her intense grip due to her strength. "I'm not going to fight you, if I do thats just a reason for your kind to send me to Delphine LaLaurie. And look around you got witnesses right here half i'm sure have their phones or cameras out. And i'm sure that Neffy would see the video of you attacking me, and i'm sure that you would lose all chance of getting back with her."

Jackson eyed the bystanders as they whipped out their phones and cameras as he really loved the attention. A slight smirk came across his face as he listened to Melanie's words the picked up his shirt and spoke towards her. "You've got a point. Perhaps we shall reschedule this bout for another time." Jackson walked closer towards her now. "I shall make you pay, once and for all, Melanie." He spoke through clenched teeth again then kissed her cheek.

A soft chuckle came from him as he backed away and placed back on his shirt, waving his hands towards the bystanders. "There is nothing to see here. She's a scared little bitch and doesn't know how to fight so everything is good now. Really, go back to your normal lives." Jackson said while looking back towards Melanie with a wink. Some of the bystanders groaned and did what they were told but other stayed, just in case the action was going to pick up again.

Melanie was slightly relieved when Jackson agreed somewhat, when he walked closer towards her threatening her again. Then he kissed her on the cheek, that made her skin crawl, then he turned around telling the crowd to disperse. His last comment sent her over the edge now, Melanie knelt down picking up two rocks that were by her feet throwing the first one at Jackson's car window shattering the window and the second one aimed for the back of Jackson's head.

Jackson ears twitched when he heard the shattering of a window, turning around to see that Melanie had threw a rock at his car window. Another rock came and thumped him aside his forehead, which was probably intended for the back of his head as he smelled his own blood fill his nostrils now. Jackson's blood was boiling now as he charged towards Melanie and speared her down to the ground, raising his fist up to punch her but decided against it since she was a female but also a werewolf.

Conflicted by his decision, Jackson removed himself from over Melanie's body then eyed her while taking his foot and placing it on her throat, lightly, just enough to choke her. Jackson leaned down a bit and spoke towards her. "Listen to me, you vermin. Meet me in the French Quarter alleyway and we will indeed settle the score." He then removed his foot from her throat and walked away from the scene, his blood still dripping a bit from his chiseled jawline.

With one more quick glance towards Melanie, he got inside of his car and revved the engine. Half of him wanted to back up and run Melanie over but he didn't want to finish her off, yet. Instead, he drove up a few feet then turned around and charged his car right into the front of hers, repeatedly then drove away, shouting out the window. "Don't forget!" Jackson smirked as he continued riding away.

Melanie was about to turn around and get back into her car happy to see what she did, before she felt a massive weight hit her in the back forcing Melanie down onto the ground. Seeing Jackson right above her his fist raised above his head, doing what she could bringing her arms over her head and face expecting Jackson's fist to hit her.

She lowered her guard some what then started gasping for air as Jackson put his foot over her throat. Glaring at Jackson Melanie lets out another low growl, telling her to meet him in the French Quarter alleyway. Melanie quickly rolled over once Jackson got his foot off of her throat, slowly getting up to her feet just as Jackson got into his car and drove a few feet in front of her car, ramming into the front several times before speeding off.

She looked at the crowd still standing there, she got into her car closing the door and drove off towards the French Quarter. It was a short drive through knowing she wasnt supose to be in there. Finding the alleyway Melanie got out of her car and walked down the alleyway.

Jackson hid behind a wall until he heard footsteps coming his way. His ears tingled at every step and of course, could tell that they were feminine steps. Jackson waited until the footsteps approached closer before popping out from behind the wall and giving a swift knee to Melanie's midsection and an elbow to her back, hoping that the final blow will allow her to fall to the ground. Jackson ripped his shirt off of him and growled lowly. "Let's dance, pup." He said while waiting for her to get to her feet.

As Melanie walked down about half way down the alleyway Melanie felt a sharp pain going to her stomach, and then yelped in pain as a second blow went for the middle of her back, causing Melanie to fall onto the ground. Quickly Melanie got back to her feet holding her stomach glaring at Jackson as he took his shirt off. She quickly quickly took off her shoes tossing them onto the ground. Without saying another word Melanie charged at Jackson hoping to knock him off of his feet.

Jackson watched as Melanie took off of her shoes then threw them onto the ground below them. He took a defensive stance but wasn't quick enough as Melanie charged towards him and swept him off of his feet. He quickly rolled out of the way before she could attack again and made it to his feet, grabbing Melanie by her hair and throwing her into the nearest wall. Quickly, he'd proceed to charge towards her and knock her off of her feet, as well.

Melanie raised her fist over her head aiming her fist towards Jackson, he quickly rolled out of the way causing Melanie to groan as she punches the ground. Before she could react Melanie cried out as Jackson grabbed her by the hair and throwing her into the wall. Feeling the wind getting knocked out of her Melanie was on the ground trying to recover, Melanie was about to get back onto her feet before getting knocked down onto the floor again. Quickly Melanie braced her arms over her head as she tried to kick Jackson in the leg hoping to get him to back off.

Seeing both of his attacks successful made him gleam with a certain happiness. He chuckled lightly while looking at her body, trying to recover from his previous blows. "Come on, wolf up!" Jackson taunted as he felt a sharp pain tingle within his leg, sending him back and dropping down to one knee. His eyes were locked on Melanie as he wondered what her next move was going to be.

Melanie got up to her feet she quickly lunged at Jackson again her hands wrapped around his throat slowly squeezing his neck letting out another growl. She was holding back she really wanted to strangle the vampire to death glaring into his eyes.

Jackson sort of knew that Melanie was holding back even with his taunting, she was still holding back, but why. Jackson managed to get up to his feet right before Melanie lunged towards him and wrapped her hands around his throat, squeezing his neck. Jackson raised his hands up around Melanie's neck as well, looking into her eyes while speaking. "If both of us die, right here and now then either of us get to have Neffy. I say we call a brief truce and end it right now." Jackson spoke through choked words, releasing his grasp from around Melanie's neck.

Melanie felt Jackson's hands wrapped around her neck causing her to gasp for air slightly, hearing Jackson speak she lessened her grip around his neck as he brought up Neffy and sighed slightly. "Fine, just stay the hell away from me and next time I wont hold back." Melanie said bitterly and roughly shoved Jackson back and stood up looking over her shoulder. "I will pay for the damages to your car if you do the same." Melanie said as she went to grab her shoes again and slipped them back on. Feeling her phone vibrate Melanie took her phone out from her pocket seeing it was a text from Nefertari. "Looking forward to it. I'm actually at home, got off a bit early to get ready for you cutie. Address is 3032 Jean-Luc Blvd. See ya then. ;)" Melanie smiled slightly to herself as she made her way to her car.

Jackson fell to a knee, gasping for air. He had forgotten about how strong werewolves could be when provoked. Hearing Melanie's words, Jackson did nothing but nod his head about staying away from her but of course, Jackson loved trouble so he knew that they were going to meet again soon. When Melanie spoke about paying for the damages done to his car, he stood up and nodded his head, speaking. "Expect a check in the mail soon from me." After speaking those words, Jackson didn't bother grabbing his shirt, since it was ripped now and walked out of the alleyway, to numerous stares. "Life lesson, ladies and gentlemen, do not go into the alleyways, all of sorts of creatures lie in there. Got it?" The bystanders nodded and looked through the alleyway with curious looks plastered among their faces.

Levi DiCaliente - Huskers Restaurant

@Nallore

Levi was deeply into his work, scrubbing the countertops in an almost rhythmic fashion – to the Sports Center crowd cheers and jeers that erupted from the screen every so often that is. He contemplated the situation he was in, baffled at the thought of Jackson even being remotely interested in him; would he have gone – could he have gone?

Just as soon as Levi lost himself in deep thought, footsteps trailed closer to him followed by a warm pat on the back - it was Melanie, coming in for her shift; what a relief!

“Hey Levi, how are you today?” Melanie asked, smiling as if she was intently interested – it must have been a good day for her; maybe she made decent money at a gig?

“I’m holding up!” Levi chuckled at her, tossing the dirty rag aside to be washed “-How about you, your awfully perky today!”

Levi was a friend to practically everyone in the restaurant –however Melanie and Levi had a somewhat special bond, maybe it was from working together for many years or maybe they just had similar interests; regardless, he knew that Mel was always up for some friendly teasing!

“How did your gig go?” Levi giggled as he asked, glancing over at the basket of fries and a steak that had been delivered to her “-I’m guessing well if you ordered such a big meal! That must've cost a fortune - what’s the occasion?”

Clariel and AJ

Husker's Resturant

Today was such a beautiful day. There was so much chaos in the air at Husker's. Between Jackson, Nefertari, Levi, Nate, Mel and AJ the place was teeming with it. Sure, Clariel was a little miffed that Neffy had blown them off, but that was too be expected. When Neffy ended something, it was ended for good. Clariel just loved stirring her up a bit. However, even Clar had to realized that they had pushed it a bit too far. Neffy had stuck her neck out far for the chaos demon, something that Clar did need reminding of from time to time. "Note to self, don't piss off any more vamps. On last chance with Nef," They mentally noted.

Soon the clock rolled over to two, and Clar hung up their chef jacket. "Headed up front, working bar tonight," they called out to the head chef, who simply sighed. Clariel walked up front and went behind the bar, giving Levi and Mel a wink. They then looked around and spotted AJ. Oh cute little AJ. "Hey sweetie, got any drinks you need me to get ready for you," they said, grinning.

AJ was busy, as always, however, two in the afternoon was always a good time. Not to busy, not to slow, and everyone was officially at work. The crowd had sort of cleared out, to an extent. One person walked in, another out. Looking outside the window she would see a few dark clouds. I hope it just rains before my shift ends, she thought, mentally. And then there was a familiar voice cutting through her thoughts. Turning towards the sound, she would see no other person that Clariel, a smile on their face.

"As a matter of fact, I just had a guy order a White Russian," she said, returning the smile. In her opinion it was a bit early in the day to begin drinking, but, to each his own.

"One White Russian coming right up. Say darlin', got any plans tonight?" Clariel started pulling the needed ingredients from the bar, and was pouring them out. "I mean for when you get off shift... since you're not working the night shift, right cutie?" Clariel added, pulling out a glass.

They looked over AJ and smirked internally. "Also, I gotta know something," Clariel scooted over towards the young girl, "Rumor has it that Levi got asked out by one of the regulars. Is it true?" They whispered with a sly look towards the other bartender.

"Nah. I got stuck with it Wednesday through Saturday though. However.. no plans here. Why do ya ask?" AJ had the slightest idea of where this was going. After all, it was Clariel, who seemed to always be in the most flirtatious of moods.

AJ walked on over to the bar, leaning over to answer there question as she bit her bottom lip in a wide grin of excitement. "It is! And you'll never guess who it was!" She dropped her voice lower, to only were the two of them could here. "Jackson. That's who."

Clariel's eyes widened. No, they would have never guessed that. They frowned a bit in thought. Didn't Neffy date him once? Or was that some other vampire douche? They shook their head and grinned. "Really now? Y'know that would explain why he comes in here every day," Clariel said, looking at AJ. "Did he accept or did Levi just back out claiming some father thing?" Clariel sighed. That boy needed to get laid, but mostly, he need to escape. Clar knew what was going on. They had touched Levi enough to get an idea of what was going on with them.

"As for why I asked... I believe there is a Jazz club with a sweet new band playing tonight, and I do know how you like your music. Wanna go?" Clariel said, smiling at the younger woman. "Pure intents, I promise," they said, holding up one hand and then winked.

"That's what I was thinking." She couldn't help but scoff before stating her next comment. "Oh course Levi froze up and explained he had to take care of his pops. Sometimes I wish that boy would just grow a pair. I love him, but still." She continued to think for a moment, wiping of the bar counter in the process, random thoughts going through her head as usual once again.

However when Clar started talking again, she would tune in to listen. Hmm.. new band.. music. It sounded like a good deal. However, it was them. AJ just looked up at them, glaring playfully as she looked at their expression. With a sigh, she would break out into a grin. "Fine, fine. I'll go."

Clariel had to smirk. AJ was an interesting person, for a human. Not afraid to speak her mind. It was attractive to Clariel. All sorts of chaos came from someone like that. Clariel smiled. "I will never do anything you never ask for dear," Clariel said with a grin and gave a wink to the human. That was true. Demon or not, Clar never did anything that was unwanted. Of course, they had their ways.

"We can head off together after shift. I believe I get off the same time as you do. Should be fun," Clar said and set the finished White Russian on the counter. "Drink's up cutie."

"I like the way you think, Clar," AJ said, picking the drinks up from the counter. "Sounds like a plan." And with that little note, she was back to waiting the tables, a smile on her face as she though about this afternoon.

Clariel grinned to themselves as they walked AJ walk off and gave a small chuckle. Perfect.

Nate Caterini - Husker's

There was something up with this place. For some reason, there was about six or seven different supernatural things running around the place. Course Nate was the only werewolf anywhere near this area. For some reason that scared him. He hated being all alone and for some reason, he did not want to leave this area. He was in his own little world and he barely even saw the guy who was talking to him. It was too bad since the guy was rather good looking.

Course Nate could tell that the guy was not from this area. There was the issue with his complete lack of an accent. Nate was so very use to people talking with accent as thick as cold molasses in a blast freezer. This guy sounded like he was from somewhere in the Midwest or maybe the Rockies? Nate was not in the mood to really analyze this guy any more than he already had. This guy was not the kind of guy to objectify someone like he was currently doing. Nate looked up and noticed that the guy had gone.

“Damn… I should pay more attention.” He said as he looked up at bar where the guy had walked off. There was a huge issue with him ignoring good things in front of him. Maybe it was some sort of coping mechanism that he had to keep himself safe from getting hurt. He did not need to get close to anyone because everyone that he met got hurt or killed. His family had been all killed in front of him and he did not want an innocent, like Levi, to get hurt because of him.

Nate waved to the guy and smiled sheepishly. “I’m so sorry. Had a long night last night. Name’s Nate.” He said giving the guy his best smile that he could muster.
“I’ll have the biggest breakfast that you have. I am hungry like a wolf.” He joked as handed over his menus. “Oh and no coffee for me. I don’t drink it.” He added knowing that most people would consider that request to be very odd. Every time that he drank coffee, he did something really stupid. There was the time that he had streaked in the park completely naked. He only managed to hold off the wolf by trying to get rid of the offending liquid. It was definitely not easy to be a werewolf alpha without a pack to lead. He was basically a lone wolf right now. That was no way to be when you had blood like Nate and he needed an ally in the city. Nate could use this human should need be.

Melanie West
Alleyway near The French Quarter, then to Huskers Restaurant

Melanie slowly walked back to her car inspecting her car seeing that the front bumper was completely dented in, and the black and red paint job as well as the front headlights were busted in as well the damaged all caused by Jackson's car. Letting out a groan deciding that she would take pictures later on, and call her insurance company. Melanie took a deep breath she wasn't going to let it ruin her good day off and her date later with Nefertari, she went to the front door wiping off the shattered glass as best as she could from the car seat and onto the ground.

Melanie looked at her clock seeing that she still had sometime to relax before tonight, she needed a drink after her whole ordeal with Jackson she started to drive back the way she came back to Huskers. Melanie looked at her right arm seeing that the wound had healed from being yanked out of the window. Melanie entered Huskers seeing Levi by the bar and approached him gently patting him on the back and smiled taking the rag he was using to wipe off the blood from her arm that was sticking on there.

Melanie smiled and shrugged slightly. "Last nights gig was alright, and i'm good I have a date tonight after my gig here." Melanie said seeing Levi as if she was her little brother. "So would it be alright if I get a beer from ya?" Melanie asked sitting down on the bar stool.

Levi DiCaliente – Huskers Restaurant

@Avanhelsing
@HushedWhispers
@Nallore

Levi smiled at Melanie as he threw the bloody rag to the side, “-Well that’s swell, I am so happy for you!” Shortly thereafter, she politely asked him for a beer; which Levi was a bit hesitant to comply with, but he obliged.

Before Levi could even think about pouring a drink for her, the mysterious man had replied after a long silence “I’m so sorry, had a long night last night; name’s Nate.”

Levi seemed a little upset about the long absence, the man didn’t seem as if he was able to keep a train of thought for very long; but he smiled anyways, for the sake of being kind.

“I’ll have the biggest breakfast that you have; I am hungry like a wolf.” Nate joked kindly, before explaining his position on the drink, “Oh and no coffee for me, I don’t drink it.”

“Okay, I’ll get that right up for you.” Levi nodded, swiftly whisking away Nate’s menu back to the front of the restaurant; allowing the written order to be delivered to the kitchen. Once the order had been placed and the menu placed where it was originally, he made his way back into the bar; turning on the beer tap all the while trying to maintain a friendly conversation with the attractive Nate across the bar.

“Oops!” Levi chuckled, watching Mel’s drink overflow “-Silly me.”

He wiped the glass and called over Melanie to hand her the tall glass of beer, waiting for a loud and ever so familiar ding for the breakfast combo platter; it was going to be a long while until the day was finally over, maybe Levi would take Jackson up on his offer.

Luka & Samael

Main Street -> Huskers Restaurant

Gale felt a rush of relief when he felt another hand on his shoulder and heard Samael speak up from behind him. Gale felt Samael try to guide him away from the filthy man but the human held onto the angel with surprising force, unwilling to let his prey go as he turned towards Samael with an angry look. "None of your–" Gale blinked, confused as the human seemed to cut off, eyes glazing over as he stared over Gale's head at Samael. He stared at the human in bewilderment before it clicked. As realization washed over him he stiffened. He had seen that type of look before, like that of a deer caught in the glare of headlights. He knew not all demons needed eye contact, some merely needed to speak while others didn't need words or contact at all. Gale's thoughts were confirmed when Samael commanded the human to release the angel and the male did so without resistance. Bystanders would simply believe the human man was intimidated by the veiled threat in Samael's words but the expression was too hazy, too empty for the man to have done that action of his own free will.

"Better. Now would you kindly go–"

Gale waited for Samael to finish the rest of the sentence but he didn't. Not until the human was already turning and scurrying off as if given a silent command and the finished sentence was hurried, as if Samael realized he had left words unspoken and was trying to cover up the error. As Samael turned to face Gale and asked if he was alright, Gale could only nod silently as he stared up at Samael with wide eyes. The taller male reached up to ruffle Gale's hair in a gesture of comfort and that's when Gale knew he had to know for sure.

Slowly, he reached out and gently touched the skin of Samael's arm. A tingling feeling shot up his limb and he sucked in a surprised breath as his eyes flashed gold slightly. The angel in him cowered away at the feeling of the unknown demonic aura. It had taken him a long time to get used to Cas's demon aura but he still reacted like this when in the presence of another demon. So Samael was a demon. Great. Well, Cas wasn't going to like this one bit. Gale didn't particularly mind that Samael was a demon; he couldn't really judge with his own brother being of the same race. But he knew that most demons hated angels and he sadly wondered if Samael wouldn't want anything more to do with him now that he knew Gale was an angel.

Trying not to let the thought bring him down, his hand dropped to his side as he sent a small smile up at the other male. "Thank you for helping me. My name is Gale Winchester." He told the male softly, reaching up to brush his bangs out of his face. Thanks to Samael's action, Gale's hair was probably even messier than what it had been this morning. Before Gale knew what he was doing, a wave of bravery washed over him and his next words spilled out before he could stop them.

"W-Would you possibly like to join me for lunch at Huskers? It will be my treat as thanks for helping me out."

A blush darkened his cheeks and he looked down shyly. What in the world was he thinking? Gale was an angel and Samael was a demon. Samael probably didn't want to look at Gale ever again now that he knew what the angel was never mind have lunch with him.

"Oh you – you don't mind?" He gestured to all of himself, though the question was mostly rhetorical. Gale did ask, after all, and he definitely knew what he was by now if that gasp of surprise had anything to do with it. "I mean, I don't mind if you don't mind, of course so, yeah– Yeah, I'd definitely like that."

Samael chewed on his lip nervously as he turned to put the massive cover over his harp so that it was ready to be wheeled out, pushed down to the alleyway that he stored his car in whilst busking. He tilted his head to the side, beckoning Gale to follow him as he moved the instrument through the throngs of people shopping up and down the street. "My name's Samael. Well, some people call me Sam or Sammy or any permutation thereof to be a bit more human, but it's Samael."

There weren't many angels in New Orleans. He could count them on one hand, and more than a few of them were female. Samael wondered whether that made Gale "Galadriel" or not, the Angel of Light and Healing. Even when Samael had been a loyal servant of God, he'd been one of wrath and justice – he didn't give people the warm fuzzies. Still, he introduced himself as Gale, so Gale it would be.

Luckily it was only a short walk to his car, and he packed the harp inside and locked it again. Huskers was close enough to head there on foot. "I've been going to that cafe you work in a lot. I wasn't sure if you noticed," he admitted with with a sheepish shrug and a self-deprecating grin.

"If I did mind that you're what you are then I would be quite the hypocrite." Gale answered but left it at that. He wasn't sure if Cas would appreciate Gale telling another demon about him. Cas's feelings towards his own kind were not hidden at all and he idely wondered what his brother would do when he found out his younger brother was talking to another demon. I can talk to whomever I wish. Besides, Samael doesn't seem all that bad. But then again this is the first time I've really talked to him. He watched as Samael covered up his harp then walked beside the demon as he began wheeling the instrument through the crowds towards where Gale assumed he stored the instrument.

"My full name is Galadriel but as that tends to give me quite the looks when introducing myself I mostly go by Gale." Gale answered. Here he was, giving his angel name to a demon. Cas was going to kill him. But he didn't want to lie to Samael. He didn't like lying in general. Though there was also the fact that he blushed beat red every time he lied so he really couldn't lie either. Cas always found eventually, even if Gale didn't say anything. The angel's eyes were an open book to his soul, as Cas would say.

As they reached Samael's vehicle, Gale was going to offer assistance in pack the harp away but before he could get a word out Samael had already finished. As they turned and began heading for Huskers Gale answered Samael's last statement before he really knew what he was doing. "Of course I noticed you, how could I not?" His eyes widened as he glanced up at Samael, cheeks darkening in a blush. The angel scrambled to think of words to save himself. "I-I mean, I-it's very hard to m-miss one as handsome as you."

Gale could slap himself. What was he saying?! He decided the best course of action would be to just keep his mouth shut and he stared down at the ground as they walked, wishing it would swallow him whole.

Samael took the compliment in stride – flirting wasn't really anything new for him – but he couldn't stop the blood from rushing to his cheeks nor the sly grin that spread across his face. "Of course," he said over-dramatically. "But then again, you're not bad yourself. And when I say not bad, I mean, 'Wowza!'"

God, Samael, you're stuck a dork. Do people even say 'Wowza' anymore? He heard the mockery of his internal commentary in Azrael's gruff, scathing voice; entirely fitting for his trying (and probably failing) to chat up an angel. Then again, there was mutual attraction – he couldn't mess things up too hard.

"Galadriel, then," he tested, though he already knew the name, imprinted in his mind from a mere moment of skin-to-skin contact. The name wasn't in any of the scriptures thus far, and Samael wondered whether the angel was a new one; pure, uncorrupted. Previous iterations of Samael had all fallen one way or another, became sort-of demons whose grace and lineage passed onto the next with their deaths – he couldn't boast any such claim. "Pretty name you were given. It suits you."

And it really did. Samael couldn't even lie to himself and say he didn't find Gale's blushing to be the most adorable thing he'd seen in centuries.

Gale glanced up, catching the grin that spread across Samael's face at the angel's words. He quite liked the expression on the demons face, it made him look even more handsome. At that thought Gale's cheeks, which had cooled down from his earlier embarrassment, heated up slightly. They then proceeded to heat up even more at Samael's words, a giggle slipping free as Gale heard the demon's compliment. Wowza? Gale thought to himself, a giggle slipping free as he smiled up at Samael, dimples showing slightly. "I wasn't aware that was still in style."

As they walked Gale bit his lip, glancing at Samael out of the corner of his eye. He nibbled his bottom lip nervously for a few moments before he hesitantly reached and shyly twined his slender fingers through Samael's. The blush returned to his cheeks as he glanced down shyly, hoping he was wasn't moving too fast. At least if Samael wasn't aware of Gale interest towards him, he did now. Gale just hoped it would be received happily. This was the first boy he had really shown interest in before. Sure, he figured out he liked boys more so than girls but he had never acted on his interests before, until now.

"Pretty though it may be, the meaning of it is odd. 'maiden crowned with a garland of bright radiance'." Gale looked up at the demon. "Samael means 'Venom of God' does it not?" The angel asked curiously, hoping he wasn't bringing up touchy subjects. "S-Sorry. Cas says I can be too nosy for my own good sometimes. You don't have to answer that if you don't want to."

Samael slid his sunglasses down off his forehead to protect his eyes from the sun's glare as they walked along Main Street. When Gale reached for his hand, the demon nearly jumped out of his skin, so unused to gentle physical contact that it was almost scary. Still, he rolled his shoulders back (flexing the frail wings attached, flat scars though they were when not being used) and squeezed the angel's fingers, carefully. Good old New Orleans – nobody even blinked an eye.

New, pure, good. You shouldn't be doing this. He kindly told that voice to piss off, just as he had the man under his compulsion.

When he was asked about his name, to his credit, he didn't flinch – even when Gale offered him an out. "It's no big deal. I've made my peace with it," he told him. "I was one of the more... My purpose wasn't to be healing or anything, when I was made an angel. I am, I mean, I was more of a soldier, smiting down evildoers. Hence the 'Venom' part." With his free hand, Samael rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly. "Angels of Death and Wrath and all that are more prone to Falling, as it has always been."

His sister would be right on the precipice of it, if she kept on how she was going. Samael hadn't told her, not yet.

"Anyway," he said decisively, a sly smirk sure to replace any haunted look spreading across his face. Samael waggled his eyebrows. "You said it meant, 'Maiden'?"

Gale felt a small smile spread across his face when, instead of pushing the angel away like Gale feared he would, Samael returned the gentle pressure on his fingers. As they continued walking, hands linked between them Gale was grateful to notice that the residents of New Orleans didn't even give them a second glance. The tourists visiting the state however were throwing them, some curious, some disgusted and some supportive. Gale watched as one man sneered at them, lip curled in contempt. His wife glanced over then hit him on the arm and dragged him away, berating as they went. Gale turned away, not really concerned about if the tourists didn't like Samael and him holding hands. They wouldn't be living here so Gale wouldn't be seeing them for very long.

As Samael told Gale of the origin of his name, Gale listened quietly, giving the demon's hand a supportive squeeze from time to time. When he asked Gale more about the meaning of his own name Gale blushed. "Yes, maiden. My mentor thought it was very funny as well. Said it was because of my 'feminine looks' or something like that. I just think he likes a good laugh. He always enjoyed making me embarrassed during my training." Gale answered, looking down as he swung their joined hands back and forth softly. They were almost to the restaurant when Gale noticed a small girl was running through the crowds. He was untangling his hand from Samael's before he really knew what he was doing though he was a second tool ate in catching the girl as she tripped over a crack in the sidewalk.

He knelt next to the crying child, smiling gently at her as he softly wiped the tears from her cheeks. "Hey sweetie. Shuu, it's okay." He dung through his messenger bag and quickly pulled a band-aid from its depths. He showed it to the child. "Look! See this band-aid? It's looks like a normal band-aid doesn't it? Well, I'll let you in on a little secret. This is a magic band-aid. It will make the pain all go away." The little girl stopped crying, staring at the band-aid with awe-filled eyes. Gale smiled and unwrapped it, gently placing it on the girl's scrapped knee. He lowered his eyes towards the ground so the people passing by or anyone looking at him wouldn't see his eyes briefly flash gold as he healed the scrap concealed under the band-aid. He then stood, helping the child to her feet. Just then a harried mother arrived, pulling another child by the hand, who was crying about wanting candy. She gave Gale a small smile as she gently grabbed her daughters hand and pulled her down the street.

Gale turned back to Samael, holding his hand out to the demon. "Shall we continue?"

The demon watched from the side, fluttering nervously. He'd never been good with kids, not since he was actually human and had little siblings to worry about. Still, he managed a soft smile at the girl without looking like he was having an aneurysm – he hoped.

Samael's cheeks burned red just watching the scene. Gale was just the perfect image of an angel, wasn't he? When the injured girl was reunited with her mother, who rushed off down the street, he couldn't help but murmur, "That was really cute, by the way."

"Of course," Samael said, taking Gale's hand as they walked into Huskers. The door chimed as it opened.

Gale Winchester & Cas Winchester
Huskers Restaurant

Gale's cheeks reddened when Samael mentioned that his actions were cute. The angel didn't comment, not that he knew how really as he stared at the ground. He had never been called cute before and didn't really know how to respond to such a compliment. Thankfully he didn't have to answer as Huskers came into sight and the two walked inside. It was busy as usual, perhaps more so considering it was lunch hour. Gale's eyes scanned the tables and booths, searching for that that might be unoccupied. However, his eyes caught on something he didn't expect to see at the cheery restaurant. What in the world was his brother doing here? Cas hardly ever came to Huskers, preferring to go to the cafe Gale worked at and he wondered what made his older brother change his mind today.

Either way, Gale didn't quite know if he wanted Cas to meet Samael yet, considering Gale didn't really know if the demon wanted a serious relationship or not. They still had to talk about it and Cas finding out that Gale had interest in a demon and vice versa...well, it wasn't going to end prettily. However, before Gale could find them seats out of his brothers sights, Cas glanced over. Gale tried not to pale as his older brother's eyes zeroed in on their clasped hands before looking at Gale with narrowed eyes.

Gale reflexly squeezed Samael's hand tighter as Cas stood from his seat and made his way over to his younger brother. The older demon stared down at the angel, not sure what to make of Gale holding hands with a guy Cas has never seen before. "Hey Gale, no work today huh?" Cas said, wrapping his arms around his little brother and doing so forcing the angel to drop Samael's. Cas then turned towards Samael, charming smile spreading across his face. "Who's your friend?" Cas asked, stressing the word 'friend'. Gale smiled weakly but before the angel could get a word in Cas turned towards the other male, extending his hand. "Cas Winchester, older brother to Gale here. Nice to meet you."

The smile stayed on his face but his eyes told a different story. They were silently daring this guy to not accept Cas's offered handshake.

Nate Caterini - Husker's

Nate liked to pretend that he was the most put together guy on planet Earth. He liked to think he was perfect in everyway. He had the strength of ten men;however, it was more like the strength of five men. This really did not change depending on the werewolf in question. It seemed that all of them had differences where the vamps seemed rather uniform. They all had more or less the same powers. Luckily for Nate, their sense of smell was not as good as his was. Nate could smell the lack of morphine in his blood; consequently, he was not focusing on the guy in front of him. Being killed by the monsters in this city was more important that the cute guy in front of him. That was how messed up that he was. He could not trust anyone and this Levi guy could be working for the vampires.

Nate was brought back to the real world when he saw Levi overfill the drink he was pouring. Nate looked up and smiled at him. "That was unfortunate. When I mess up I go through glass windows or get hurt." He admitted sheepishly.

He looked down at his food and started to eat. He looked up at Levi and thought for a second. "Wow this is really good. Seems I was smart to get the bartender's idea." He said as he ate. He usually was not this nosy but he had to know. Levi was not from this area and it was Nate's job to find out where this guy came from.

"So Mr Levi, where are ya from? I am going to say there is no way that you are from around here. It does not sound like you are choking on some sort of honey comb. I can tell you are from... Somewhere that is not here?" He joked as he looked up at Levi with a large smile on his face.

"Oh how long are you gonna be working? I have this party in the woods tonight and was wondering if you would want to join me. Just a simple party." He asked looking right in Levi's eyes. He might as well try his hand at all of this. It was just an offer so he did not care what the guy would say.

Clariel

Husker’s Resturant

It was a glorious day! Clariel had gotten AJ to agree to a ‘not’ date date, things were heating up at Huskers, and there was so much chaos! In front of them Levi was getting asked out on another date, with the newcomer. A drama triangle was heating up here, and it was beautiful to witness.

And then Samuel walked in. Clariel got a huge grin on their face at that. Samuel, their demonic roommate. Well, housemate. Well, more like part-time freeloader at Clariel’s house. “Hello handsome! Pleasant seeing you here! Do you have my rent?” They asked, walking over to Samuel, quirking an eyebrow. “Also hello to your friend… I guess friends plural. Nice to meetcha, Clariel here,” they said, and tapped the brothers on the shoulder, trying to get a feel on them both.

Angel and Demon. Brothers, but different. Clariel’s eyes went wide and they backed up a bit. “Woah, I am so not here for this. Samuel, just… give me rent later, okay?” They said and quickly retreated behind the bar. They were not sticking around for this discussion. Clariel did not do people. It was amazing that they had even held on to the job at Husker’s as long as they had. However, a showdown between two demons and an angel. That got messy quickly. Clariel remembered their last death, mostly vague memories at this point and cringed. It had been at an angel’s hands the last time.

“Also, Sam, if you drag this mess into my house, you owe me for any damages, you hear me!” They added, before going back to mixing drinks for the other customers.

Nefertari

3032 Jean-Luc St

Nefertari stepped out of the shower and wrapped a towel around herself. It wasn’t a usual process to take two showers in one day for her, especially since they were still out of hot water, but given that she had a date tonight it made sense. Since Mel was a werewolf, she could probably smell the embalming fluid, and Neffy found that it wasn’t a very sexy smell.

She sat down on her bed-thing, and pulled out her laptop and started up her e-mail service. Before she got dressed, she had one thing on her agenda to do. She typed in the address that she had for V, and sighed. This was not going to be a fun e-mail.

“V-

I do apologize for this e-mail, but there is something I need immediately taken care of. I need to request a new liaison for the morgue. Mr. Jackson Jones has proven to be the worst at this position, given both his attitude and body count. Today marks the fifth time he has killed one of my assistants and we’ve had to cover with a freak accident. It is becoming hard to cover for him, and since those accidents are covered by us, we are losing money on them.

I will happily accept any one else as liaison for the morgue. However, Mr. Jones is too personal about his work, and his attitude will continue to drag the whole community down at this rate.

Please consider this. Thank you.

-Nefertari.”

She sighed as she hit the send button, and then closed her laptop. She doubted anything would really come of this, but she still had a little bit of hope. She put the laptop away under her nightstand and stood up and stretched. She opened her closet and sighed a bit. There was a lot of professional looking clothing in her wardrobe, but not a lot of fun and flirty things. However, she finally settled on a nice black and gold number, with matching heels. She set them out on her bed as she sat down and went to apply her makeup. She was determined to have a good time tonight, and hoped that Mel felt the same.
