Occupation: Works at his grandmother's shop, The House of Bone and Chalk. Someday it will be his.

Family: Julia Laveau: Jack's grandmother and magical mentor. She "retired" from the conflict between the different groups when Jack was born. She still trains Jack or Jacques as she calls him. She also taught her grandson the proper way of cooking. It is important to keep the ancestors happy and there is no better way than cooking. Jack never knew his father and his mother died when he was born.

Personality: Jack is quick with a joke or a smile. When the sun is up Jack is all smiles and sunshine. But under that exterior lies a cold and calculating man. He always has plans with in plans. He tries to fix the wrongs that he sees and will go out of his way to right societal wrongs. Even if he cannot use his magic there are other magics that can work.

History: Jack was born into magic from the moment he was born. To the outsider it appeared that they were a normal family. They had a normal family except for the traffic death of his mother moments after his birth. It was as if she had just given up. Her son was raided by his grandmother and appeared just as normal as the rest of the family. He went to school like a normal kid and seemed to excel in sports in particular football. He got a scholar ship to LSU to play there and could have gone pro. Except he turned it down to return home and work with his grandmother. That was the only strange thing in his life. Now he works at his family's shop and seems content.

Occult History: to understand Jack Laveau you must initiate the secret histories. You see, the family was not as normal as it would appear and Jack least of all. Before he was born, it was discovered that only one , mother or child, could survive. His mother chose him and thus the first male Laveau was born in almost 120 years. The family magic would skip a generation and would usually be given to the eldest femal child. Since his mother was dead, Jack was now the heir. It was unknown if the ancestors would even accept him.

When he was five years old, his grandmother took him to the cemetery to meet his Great Great Grandmother. They entered the old mausoleum and Jack stood as his mother called out to their ancestors. The first spirit to arrive was a woman with a large headdress. The spirit looked at the boy and laid her shadowy hands on his shoulders. The other spirits did the same in return. The contract was sealed. They had accepted him. After that day, his grandmother started to teach Jack everything that he would need as a magical member. She then changed his name to Jack Laveau. Every witch in the family would take the last name of their most famous ancestor as respect.

Jack returned early from college to take care of his ailing grandmother and to finish the ritual to make him a full user. Now he is sealed to the land of the Tremé and to help the problems of those around him. He supports the Rebels and wants to see the vampires dead. Laveau's are always fiery people.

Occult Status:Not a leader of his coven but close to the top.

Additional Info: He is a very good cook since he was taught by a master. It is not odd to see him walking from his house to the cemetery carrying bags of freshly made food for his ancestors.

Personality: Personality: Nate is a mysterious and reserved man, hesitant to speak until he really gets to know you. He portrays a ‘tough guy’ demeanor, often intimidating men due to his huge stature and deep voice. Despite his attractive appearance, Nate has a tendency to release Werewolf pheromones into the air, adding more desire and charm to his beauty; Nate is practically irresistible to women and men alike. To those he pursues, he is a very charming and confident man with smooth flirts and more than enough appeal to have suitors hanging by his every word. Don’t be fooled though, he is smarter than he looks; sharing a passion for knowledge as well as looks. To those he trusts, he has the ability to be very thoughtful and lighthearted; but can change to a serious, threatening and dangerous at the drop of a hat. Lastly but most importantly, he will fight to the death for those he loves; ensuring past will not repeat itself.

History: History: Nate grew up in around New Orleans for most of his life. He had a tough father whom was the Alpha of the pack, a sensitive and nurturing mother, and two careless older brothers whom constantly fought with each other. Childhood was great for Nate, he has faint memories of his first hunt with his father; which was terrifying but exciting. Though he had some good memories, life was constantly moving for his family; since his father was dominant with the pack, Nate spent most of his days out in the wilderness hunting alone.
As he became older, he became more involved with the pack; treated with dignity and respect for mastering his werewolf abilities at such a young age. Around that time, Nate would attend weekly hunts and gatherings with the pack; being carefully guarded as he hunted deer and antelope, he had never felt closer to his family. What Nate didn’t know however, was that a bloody rivalry between the Vampire and Werewolf Hierarchy’s were in a cold war; and unknowing to the pack, the Vampire Hierarchy was planning to break the silence with a total annihilation of the Werewolf Hierarchy on a day that nobody would expect.

The day was Nate’s tenth birthday, the pack gathered around in a deep cave, gnawing on the bones of a deer carcass while toasting to the young boy. One by one however, wolves began to disappear from the celebration; his father went out to investigate only to find lifeless werewolf remains, mutilated beyond recognition. In a panic, his father coaxed the Nate and family out of the cave and back to the cabin they lived in; where the Vampires were lurking in the shadows, waiting to strike.

As soon as the door was locked and the family headed toward the basement, an ambush of night crawlers had pinned the Alpha down; tearing at his skin as he began to transform. Nate’s mother and brother had begun the transformation in attempts to save the mangled Alpha, but to no avail; their necks were snapped and ripped from their bodies in front of the ten year old boy.

Nate lay petrified on the floor, crying and closing his eyes at the gruesome scene; which the vampires found oddly amusing. They took a lit candle out of his birthday cake, and began to morbidly sing ‘happy birthday’ at the boy; teleporting into thin air once the song was complete.

After the slaughter, Nate was rushed to live with his uncle in a shack several miles from civilization in the deep woods of New Orleans; the house was so well hidden that only a werewolf could smell the trail to the shack. Within those years, Nate was homeschooled by his uncle, becoming very cunning and smart until his graduation. The duo survived on the wildlife for food and the lake for water, living a feral life in the woods and perfecting his body and mind until he became of age.

On his 18th birthday, Nate’s uncle felt had matured enough to be unrecognizable, his uncle assured him that it was his mission to avenge his father. He had the Alpha family birth mark and immense power that no other werewolf could possess.

With that, Nate returned to life in the city, purchasing a Lake house far out in the wilderness with the money he made after college with a degree Environmental Science; making sure to lay-low until the time is right to strike, and eliminate the Vampire dictatorship once and for all.

Occult History: Nate is one of the blood-born werewolves, His father was Alpha of the most deadly pack in New Orleans and his mother, the leader of a deadly Montana pack had been imprinted to his father many years prior, he was the youngest of his brothers. Nate learned of his powers when he was six years old and had spent many hours perfecting them. However, four years later a feud between the Vampire Hierarchy and the pack had turned deadly, making Nate the sole survivor. He took refuge in his uncle and swore that he would rise back to power for his Father and take down the Vampire dictatorship; no matter the cost. Currently, he refuses to take the morphine and since he tries not to enter NOLA, since it is hard for him to hide his immense power from the strigoi.

Nefertari looks like she stepped out of ancient Egypt, with dark skin, long black hair that she usually braids into multi-braids. She stands at five foot seven, very slender. She has dark brown eyes, that flash red more as a warning to others. She has a tattoo of Isis across her back, calling Isis her guardian. She became a vampire at twenty-eight, and that is how old she looks. She usually is seen in a pair of skinny black jeans, shirt and a jacket thrown over the shirt. She enjoys the modern style of clothing.

Personality: Nefertari is a very outgoing person, but mostly at night. She is friendly and personable, and still seems to have a bit of her humanity left. She is trying to make an honest living, since she is technically an outsider of this lovely city. However, she does have her scary moments, mostly when angry or hungry. She considers herself more of a lover than a fighter, which is odd given her gift for superhuman strength. But, she does tend to be a very gentle lover, only biting when asked.

History: Nefertari was once a very normal girl, with normal dreams and wishes. She was born in what is now modern day Cairo, and her family claims that they are descendants from the original rulers of Egypt. She grew up normal, was married, and even had a child before something happened. She was about twenty-eight and out at the market one night, when she was accosted, and turned. At that moment, her life as a human ended. She adopted a new name, to protect her still living husband and child, and left Cairo with the man who sired her. She became more worldly, and cultured. She spent around two hundred years with the man who sired her before going out on her own. She lived all over Europe and Africa, watching the world turn. Recently, (that being thirty years ago) she immigrated to New Orleans, and set up a home there. She found a house with an angel named Azreal and Morgan, and the three live together, for now.

Occult History: Nefertari became all too aware of what she was when she was turned. She is always fascinated by the new things she learns as a vampire, even regarding her own powers.

Occult Status: Outsider Vampire. She could be royalty if she wanted, but never liked manipulating humans.

Additional Info: While she feeds on humans, she never liked the aspect of manipulation, and never developed those powers. Being once human, she still regards them with warmth, and even has had human lovers in the past.

Clariel

Appearance: They has a short blond hair, with bright brown eyes that look like they are hiding secrets. Stands at five foot four, and is a skinny wiry person. Likes dressing in very girly things on the rare occasion, otherwise is seen in a loose t-shirt and jeans that have the knees worn out. Has a few tattoos, one of which is an upside down pentagram. On the rare occasion when her wings come out, they have a five foot wingspan.

Wings

Personality: Clariel embodies the fallen angel aspect of their life. They are promoted to making mischief, trouble, and wanting to have fun. They have left quite a string of broken hearts around New Orleans, since they doesn’t really commit. Originally before Clariel inherited the role of demon, they had been a sweet girl.

History: Clariel was born Marie, in New Orleans to French immigrants, and grew up on a plantation, surrounded by luxury and love. She was bi-lingual, artistic, and musically inclined. There had been talks of sending her to Paris to study in school, but then one day something changed. The previous Clariel died in a fight with an angel, and passed on his abilities to the next Clariel, who turned out to be Marie. In that moment she changed.

No longer was she the sweet girl that had obeyed her parents, respected the slaves on her plantation, and was happy. She became almost an embodiment of chaos, which was apt, since as it turns out Clariel is a Chaos Demon. Just one of many. The plantation that Marie had grown up on was suddenly thrown into chaos, as the slaves started getting ideas of rebelling, and Marie’s parents started fighting. Marie realized how much she was thriving on the discord of her home and embraced it, and threw away her old name. Clariel saw the downfall of their families plantation, and moved on, causing chaos wherever they went.

However, about thirty years ago things took a turn. They got into a spot of trouble with the nobel vampires around, and was about to face judgment when a new vampire turned up on the scene. Throwing around her age a bit, and promising to help clean up the chaos demon, Nefertari took Clariel under her wing. However, Nefertari really never kept her promise, but Clariel knew to keep the chaos on the downlow. They and Neffy had an off again on again string of one-night stands before breaking it off for good twenty years ago. They remain good friends.

Clariel tries now to hid their chaotic tendencies, but when rumors of a rebellion started springing up, their chaotic nature started flaring up again. They happily joined and offered their talents where needed. They also got a job at Husker’s, needing to make an honest income somewhere, and honestly, Husker’s is the most popular place, so it was good for finding one night stands on the occasion. They reside in a lovely home, acquired with money gotten in some less than legal manners, but no one can prove that now.

Occult History: Clariel became Clariel when they were about sixteen years old and the previous Clariel was slain. It took them a while to realize what they were fully capable of doing, but one they did, there was no going back.

Occult Status: Chaos Demon

Additional Info: Clariel like ‘em young. They take a special thrill in seducing young virgin ladies, and popping their lady cherry. However, their taste does range, but if it is a challenge, you can be sure Clariel will accept it. Also, Clariel tends to run hot, and is never seen with a jacket or sweater.

Thin-faced, gentle, and starry-eyed, Morgan is a pretty person with many nice attributes. Standing at a mere 5'6" and weighing over 120 lbs, they are slight in appearance. Dark skin stands out well against her mostly white outfits, and a curling, black afro frames her face. Loves to wear flowing dresses and is always hesitant to go out with shoes on. Can often be found with a cigarette on her lip and long, fake nails adorning her hands.

Occupation: Works full time at an incense and candles shop, Wicks and Sticks, located on main street. Also they will at times play at Jazz bars for extra cash.

Family: The only person still alive in Morgan's family would be their father, Samuel De Blanc. Now retired from his job as a cop, Samuel lives in the poorer regions of New Orleans, right by the bayou, and Morgan offers him any support he is in need of. Though he is aware of his child's and late wife's powers, he himself is a mere human.

Personality: Morgan is the epitome of an airhead. Day-dreamy in both appearance and attitude, she wanders the streets as if half-asleep and always seems to fall asleep in particular situations. Despite this, Morgan is always ready to lend a helping hand to friends and always seems to have a glittering smile on her lips. Morgan always puts their friends first, and as such can often forget to care for herself. Sometimes she may forget to eat, other times she may go outside without a shirt, it all depends on how sleepy/lost she is that day. Though they are an airhead, Morgan is far from truly stupid, and when faced with a serious situation Morgan will attempt to find the most helpful solution.

Though she is sweet to her friends, Morgan can be considered mean-spirited to strangers who approach without reason. When annoyed she gains a much more biting persona, chewing out those she just can't find in her heart to trust at first. She also gains this abrasive nature when around the more "regal" vampires in town, as she blames their rule for the death of her mother. Besides that, she is very childish, and a trickster at heart. Those she really can't stand are often subjected to pranks and practical jokes.

While they do give off the impression of being someone who handles emotions well, underneath her cheerful, dimwitted exterior Morgan is rather distant and apathetic. She has trouble understanding when someone else is sad or hurt, and though they truly wish to help they often find that they just can't due to not understanding. She often falls into states of depression due to not understanding her own emotions. She at times feels as though she is emotionless, just a puppet on a shelf, and will seem to disconnect herself from the world by hiding in her bedroom or bathroom.

History: Born and raised in New Orleans, Morgan has always loved the rich and colorful city she grew up in. Her family was relatively well off as Elizabeth Le Blanc, her mother, ran a popular diner down on main street. They lived in a decent home and spoiled their child with books and toys whenever possible. Samuel worked most nights as a cop, so Morgan was often left home alone, not that she minded. She loved to have the house to herself, to explore the creaking floor-boarded rooms and read mom's weird books. One day, however, things went horribly wrong.

It was a Sunday, the only day the whole family had time together, and they had decided to spend a whole day outside, picnicking, adventure, until night came. It was the midsummer then, and the fireflies were plentiful. Morgan, only thirteen at the time, would sit and catch them with her father. Her mother had watched curiously, and then with a sudden grin she waved her hands slowly, wind forming and circling between her palms. The fireflies were pulled into the gentle gust, and a light show appeared within her mother's hands. It was meant to be a simple show of magic, but those watching saw it as so much more. Morgan woke up the next day to her father crying, and the living room torn up.

It was as if a wind storm had thrown everything around the room into a state of havoc. She quietly asked where mom was, and her father simply pointed towards the broken front door and nodded. Morgan locked herself in her room for three days, and on the fourth she emerged with a soft smile and tired eyes. After that, she acted as if nothing happened. High school came and went, and with no desire to attend college she went straight to work. Eventually, Morgan moved out from living with her father to stay with Azreal and Neffy.

Occult History: Morgan became aware of her abilities after her first period. She had been teetering cautiously on a step stool while searching for a book to read in her mother's study, when suddenly she twisted her ankle and fell. Instead of hitting the floor, however, she found herself carefully lowered to the earth by what could only be a gust of wind. When she explained the incident to her mother, she was met with happy tears and pats on the head. After that, Morgan was introduced to her ancestors in the cemetery, and her mother carefully explained the Le Blanc family's history.

The Le Blanc witches were voodoo masters at heart. Hexes and control was their game, and their coven was once much more plentiful and powerful in the past. Now, most have been killed due to their rule-breaking, and lay forever tormented within lavender filled graves. It was a sad tale, but Morgan took it to heart and vowed to uphold the Le Blanc name to the best of her ability.

Her precognition abilities first appeared during her last year of middle school, after the death of her mother. The scenes normally play in her dreams, and are often vague and hard to remember.

Occult Status: Seer and Coven Novice

Additional Info: Morgan has what most would call a familiar, though the pet is not used in any magical ways. Qrow is, as you might have guess, Morgan's pet crow. He is an intelligent bird who resides within her room and can often be seen flying around town. Other than that, Morgan is a talented pianist who is well known on Main Street for her jazzy melodies.

Luce

Willowy, tall, and sharp, Luce looks as flamboyant as he truly is. He is unnaturally gorgeous, with glowing skin, deep, green eyes, and red hair that alway seems to hang over half of his face Lipstick, blush, and mascara always seem to adorn his appearance, and he can often be found wearing skirts and dresses during the hotter months. He is never seen without a pair of fashionable high heels or his favorite black, wide-rimmed sunhat.

Occupation: Luce is the owner of Club Plasma, the most popular feeding ground for vampires!

Family: Any family Luce had remaining probably died a long, long time ago. His closer family had been killed by terrified townspeople, and Luce had barely escaped with his life.

Personality: Sinister, flamboyant, and ruthless, Luce is a perfect ruler in all sense of the word. He thirsts for power and control, and finds great enjoyment in causing trouble and hurting those who could possibly hurt him. While he isn't the strongest vampire alive, he is definitely smart enough to hold his own in New Orleans. Though he isn't at the top of the food chain yet, Luce always seems to reach for the stars, and will always attempt to one-up someone who could possibly be a threat to his title. It may be very hard to discover Luce's true blood lust, however, as when he is not prepared to make a kill or deploy a scheme, he is extremely sweet, polite, and well-spoken.

Of course, his flashing grins and sparkling eyes may give away his real self, Luce tries his best to appear as "human" as he can in front of strangers and enemies. It's hard, however, due to him being very easily agitated. He slips often when faced with annoying people or situations, and as such tries to avoid those who could possibly reveal his sparkling fangs. Usually, when faced with attractive new strangers, he flirts big time, and seems to have no respect for personal space. Despite all of the horrid things Luce is, he does have a single soft spot. Young children and animals always seem to be safe from his glaring eyes. This could be because they remind him of his past, or perhaps her merely feels that killing those who haven't experienced life yet is too cruel.

Other than that, Luce is a coward who dislikes fighting head on, and he would much rather save his own hide than someone else's. He's a brilliant cook and drink-mixer, and can often be found shopping for new clothes on main street when not working at the club.

History: Born in France to an influential vampire family, Luce was unaware of the tragedy that would strike his family. He grew up in a big castle, and spent most days playing with his younger sister or bothering the many, many servants mother and father brought in daily. He was the Oleander family's princess, and in those days he had been so happy. On his sixteenth birthday, however, their home was stormed by terrified townspeople. The many servants that had been "hired" by his parents were all truly stolen daughters and sons and wives and husbands, and the town reacted with fire and vengeance. Luce hide within the castle walls, and merely watched as his younger sister was slain by the townspeople. He barely escaped with his life, and wandered the French landscape without a plan in his mind. Eventually, somewhere at the beginning of the 19th century, he became fed up with simply wandering and with no where else to turn sneaked onto the first boat towards America.

In New Orleans, Luce found that there were many vampires to relate to, and managed to make a living by opening a club for humans and occult alike. He moved into a ritzy house, and with power on the mind he aimed his ambitions high. He was ready to live in New Orleans like a king, and he would achieve power no matter what.

Occult History: Luce was aware of his abilities from a young age, but has used them mostly without guidance and training for a few years now. He is somewhat unskilled.

Additional Info: Many of the maids and servants in his home don't appear to be all there. Their eyes are dull and they barely react if someone attempts to speak to them.

Family: Eleanor's family is large, rich and affluent in the vampire community and in New Orleans generally. Her father, Virgil, is the chief of police and her mother, Sylvia, is part of the city government. There are tons of siblings, many of which are half-siblings from Sylvia's previous marriage (Eleanor has lost count of her siblings honestly that's how prolific her parents are). She also has so many aunts and uncles that she hasn't heard of a large portion of them. Personality: To humans, Eleanor appears to be a stereotypical snobby, unintelligent, rich girl. To other creatures, she likely appears the same way, except also a spoiled vampire. She gets anything money can pay for and, of course, is used to getting her way. Most often refuses to even associate with non-vampires with the obvious exception of eating humans alive. Hates family dinners because despite it being basically cannibalism, her parents insist on using table manners: something Eleanor has no regard for. (Despite that, she usually changes into a suspiciously blood-stained T-shirt before feeding, so as not to dirty her fancy dresses.) The most interaction she usually has with werewolves and witches is taunting- i.e. "I trust you've taken your morphine," along with a smug smirk that anyone short of an angel would want to knock off her face.

History: Being so rich, Eleanor has had a sheltered life. She was surprisingly distressed the first time she saw a human killed "for the good of the clan", but quickly became desensitized to violence. There's not much more other than that; her parents are insanely protective of her due to her youth compared to many other vampires, and they never let her leave the house without company before she was eighteen. After she was eighteen, they still arranged for chaperones and the like to accompany her wherever she went, but she often got away without them, and her exhausted parents eventually gave up, as they were quite occupied with all their other children.

Occult History: Eleanor has known of her transformation ability since she was about six, although it took years of practice to master. She discovered her persuasion ability when she was sixteen and having a bad day; a human got in her way and she snapped at them to jump off a bridge. She was very surprised to get a blank-sounding "Yes ma'am".

To say the brother were part of a happy family would be stretching it a bit. They never knew their father, the man had left as soon as he found out the brother's mother was pregnant with Cas. Their mother's parents disowned her and she was left to raise them by herself. She tried her best, working three jobs. The siblings helped out where they could, staying out of their mother's way and not making a mess. Despite their mother's best efforts Cas and Gale were forced to take care of themselves sometimes, Cas shouldering most of the weight. When Gale turned 7 and Cas 13, their mother meet another man. It was no surprise that their mother soon married him, lured in by his money. However, not too after their step-father John soon began showing his colors. He ordered their mother around and turned to drinking. When he grew angry he targeted Gale, the boy being the weakest one in the family. Cas desperately tried to protect his twin but there was only so much he could do. When Gale was 12 and Cas 18, John was particularly drunk and turned his rage onto Gale. After almost beating the boy unconscious, Cas jumped in and it was John's turn to defend himself. Cas managed to get himself and Gale out and they ran and never looked back. Cas took on two or three jobs to support them and took care of his brother, something he swore he would always do.

He tried to move on but he just couldn’t. He grew depressed and eventually took his own life. He awoke in Hell and after suffering through more torture than anyone could handle, he was given an offer. Put souls in his place and he could walk free. He held out as long as h could but eventually Cas broke and took the torturers place, given the name Castiel. He managed to work his way back to the surface and to his complete amazement, met up with his younger brother again.

Generally a quiet boy, Galadriel normally fades into the background. He is the kind of person who prefers to take the pictures, not be in them. He is usually a very passive and kind person. He tends to blurt a lot of things out without realizing it or thinking about his words. Galadriel also gets embarrassed and flustered way too easily; often blushing and hiding his face. He is somewhat of a klutz, managing to trip over his own feet more often than not. However, he can be very stubborn if he feels like it. Personality: Marie is quite, to put it kindly, different in the way she acts from basically everybody ‘normal’. Having been born a male and growing up wishing she had been born female while trying her best not to let everybody know that ‘she’ was really a ‘he’. But Marie couldn’t hide forever and eventually kids started to mock her for being male and looking like a girl. Her self-esteem basically went down the shitter and her friends all started disappearing around her. As such, Marie trusts nobody as everybody she had known to get close to her simply ended up mocking her or turning their backs on her before she even had the chance to explain. After her transitional surgeries were complete, Marie’s life changed completely as she finally found a crowd to fit into, the growing LGBT community in New Orleans. Eventually Marie would be ‘cured’ of her esteem issues and make friends inside the community but she distanced herself from them, afraid to truly be herself in front of anybody.

But, Marie is the most kind and loving person one could ever meet as well. Never has she said anything bad about somebody behind their backs nor to their faces, though she would be too timid to actually do so herself. Even when her best friend and Father was diagnosed with cancer, she didn’t break down and cry but devoted herself for being there for him. She would bring him home made food, which required being sneaked into the hospital, nearly every day so that he had a piece of home in such a foreign place. She was devastated when her father died while she was away at college, for an Art Major on top of that.

History: Born Marcus Timothy Elaine, Marie had lived eighteen years in the body of a male before she became female. Marie grew up not knowing who her mother was for she disappeared not even a month after her birth leaving her Father to raise her alone. And God was it difficult for Ben Elaine to raise a son who wished he was a she. Ben never quite understood Marie’s ‘condition’ quite as well as he wished he could but he would not deny his only kid the happiness and life she wanted. So once Marie qualified for the very beginning of transition to female from male, Ben shelled out as much money as possible to make his little girl happy. It was difficult for Marie who had grown up being looked at with disgusted looks to adjust to the change in people.

Marie went from being called ‘it’ to her from those who knew not about the fact that she had once been male. After her surgeries, Marie began dating only to face an entire separate problem entirely: how to tell her boyfriend or girlfriend that she was once male. Eventually, Marie quite simply stopped trying to make relationships with people outside the LGBT community she had become a member of due to their general disgust at realizing that Marie wasn’t born this way. It was in her third year of college, when she was 22, that she was thrust into the world of the Occult.

Occult History: Marie had always believed in the Occult, of course since she did grow up in New Orleans, but never thought that it would ever have any effect on her life what so ever. The Occult changed her life entirely when a rogue werewolf, one which had been off his daily shots of morphine for a while, attacked her and sliced her right leg and stomach causing scars. Cops brushed it off as a wolf or coyote attack but Marie stood her ground on what it had been. A few days later she was confronted by her first ever Vampire, a quite intimidating male figure, who questioned her on the attack. Upon mentioning the scratches, the Vampire grabbed hold of her and took her away in his black car. That day, Marie was inducted into the world of the Occult and given the rules she would have to live by otherwise she would end up like the Rogue who attacked her, a burned corpse.

Since then, Marie has been steadily learning more and more about her new life and powers. The Vape shop she works at happens to be owned by a Vampire who would ‘watch’ her and make sure she didn’t step out of line but he stopped following her around nearly a year ago leaving her more or less to her own. A few werewolves who were members of a pack were kind enough to explain to Marie what it meant to be a part of a pack when they came into the Shop a few months back and Marie decided that day that she would never willingly join a pack.

Moving further south until about a year ago Melanie moved to New Orleans, finding it slightly difficult to listen to the rules she has never taken morphine since she moved in. She hasn't gotten into trouble with it yet, and wants to keep it that way Melanie since moving in tries to get along with everyone.

If one was to get to know Jackson very well, they'd see just how much of an asshole he really is though he just speaks the truth towards everyone no matter what race, age or whatever else you are. Most have fallen for him before he even opens his mouth to speak and he thinks it's hilarious. Though he is also clever with words, almost like he has a silver tongue. Growing up, Jackson had a very close connection with his parents but never understood why since most kids and teens hated their parents. But not him. Jackson was five years of age when he was turned by his mother, seeing as she didn't want the bite to hurt too bad. They killed his parents and left the evidence behind only for him to find them killed. This truly devastated Jackson as he ran away from the town and went to New Orleans, where he could be closer with people just like him. He immediately made friends and was invited to a warm welcoming, which shocked him. Now, Jackson is much mature than he was in his teenage years of life and is still living in New Orleans off of a trust fund left behind some of his dead relatives though under a secret code name that only he knows and will not share with anyone. He loves it in New Orleans and doesn't intend on leaving anytime soon.

Personality:

Levi is a very shy, timid and reserved man, often limited by anxiety and stress but can maintain his composure around people he doesn’t know; due to past experiences it takes him a while to open up with people. He is a bit sensitive but once you get to know him, he is very kind, open and friendly, even with an enemy. Despite his lovable side Levi carry’s a lot of emotional baggage due to a life filled with punishments and servitude to an abusive father, while trying to pay the bills and go to college. Because of this, he has developed a social anxiety and becomes very uncomfortable socializing with men.

History:
Levi was born in Aurora, Colorado to Donna and Marcus DiCaliente, two lovebirds from Aurora Colorado. He had a fairly pleasant childhood, at the time his parents had a very stable and loving relationship. They lived in a nice house in Aurora, Colorado and were able to afford nice things. Everything had seemed perfect until his father had lost his well-paying job, sending the family into a deep financial crisis. Due to the lack of jobs in Aurora, Marcus turned to alcohol to solve his problems; leading to an addition. Soon enough, Marcus became a bitter drunkard whom never left the house, leaving poor Donna to provide for her family as a waitress at a local diner; making less than enough to pay the bills.

The abuse started small for Donna, firm grips and loud yelling slowly began to form into something much worse as young Levi watched it unfold. Levi had developed an irrational fear of his father and would only socialize with his mother, whom provided him comfort and love. As the abuse continually got worse, Levi could perceive what appeared to be bruises and burn marks on his mother. Unknowing to Levi, his mother had made a deal with his father; stating he can do whatever he wants to her if no harm were to come of Levi. As Levi grew, his parents had become bankrupt due to the small family income and the price of his father’s addiction. The house was ultimately repossessed, causing he and his family to live a life of poverty within a one bedroom apartment in an unpleasant part of the city.

When Levi entered his middle school years, Donna filed divorce paperwork against Marcus who became enraged; throwing heavy pots and pans at her fragile body and ultimately ended up strangling her to death on the kitchen floor. After she had passed on, Levis father then turned to him and broke her only rule; leaving him bumped, bloodied and bruised. He threatened Levi to keep his mouth shut or he would suffer the same fate. He sent his crying child to bed and disposed of the body by burying it in the back yard.

The years of emotional turmoil and abuse continued into his high school years. Levi often wore long sleeved clothes, shades and makeup to cover his bruises. Around that time, Donna had been missing for a few years and been deemed dead by the state; Marcus emptied Donna's bank account with fake tears in his eyes and received the large amount of money she left in her will. He knew that eventually the police would investigate further, thus he made plans to move to New Orleans; selling the house and leaving everything behind.

During the move, Marcus demanded that Levi drop out of school and get a job; which he complied with against his will. Once in New Orleans, Marcus used the cash to buy a nice, nonchalant house on Persimmons Way; an older house in a rich area around the border of the French Quarter.
Currently, Marcus lounges around the house all day, collecting food stamps and forcing his under-graduate son to work as a bartender at Huskers Restaurant to pay the bills and steal expensive booze. A little figure at the age of 13 a girl with pitch black hair would come running down the stairs of the grand house, her grandmother, currently her only living relative, sitting in a chair by the ancient fire-place.

Biography "Might be here for awhile - Or not."
Growing up, Maryanne knew that there was something different about her but wasn't sure what. She kept on getting sick every time her birthday came around and found it really weird. It wasn't until she was seven when her mother told her that she had inherited her great grandmother's witch abilities. Maryanne hid in her room for about a week until she felt comfortable enough to reveal herself to the outside world again. Her mother gave her various books that her great grandmother had and she studied the spells even went far and beyond to try a few of them out. Big mistake. She nearly turned the house upside down one day and her mother sent her to her grandmother's house to get trained on how to hone her abilities and not mess up or obliterate everything in her wake. She stayed there until she graduated high school, getting trained every single day even though she learned quickly but wanted to learn more and more. Maryanne moved to New Orleans to go to college then suddenly dropped out but stayed when she found a coven of people just like her, witches. She stayed in New Orleans then met a guy named Henry and dated him for awhile eventually ending up having his daughter. Maryanne's boyfriend, Henry, died in his sleep a few days later and she wasn't really sad about it since it wasn't a waste in her life. Moving on forward, she still resides in New Orleans and is now the Coven Leader of the coven she originally joined. She loves her life even more now and doesn't intend for it end anytime soon. Most werewolves are built like a brick house, K is built more like whipcord. When they wolf out they grow into this long-limbed, tower of a wolf. Standing a good foot and a half taller than your average werewolf, K tends to refuse to it as the 'sports model' werewolf, as it is a build for speed where most of their kind are built for the raw power. Not to call K weak of course, They could snap a full grown man in half and with their sheer height she has a decent amount of weight to throw around. But she is not the same kind of explosive power house as other wolves in their weight class. At the end of the day their greatest tools are their agility, speed, and reach.

Personality
K is a notoriously playful flirt. Unless they really like you they won't do anything more than skin deep teasing and the occasional half serious pass. They are quick to smile, quick to make friends, and something of a social butterfly. They are the happiest around others. He always said it would figure he would be get turned into a werewolf. History
Born and raised in Texas. On the far east panhandle in a mind sized city. Not the best place to discover your divergent of the misinformed social norm gender status, but meh you play the card dealt to you. Father taught K to be proud, Mother taught K to be friendly, and Sister taught him to never take any shit from anyone. K took these lessons to heart and they are the core of who K is. Occult History
When K was only a family camping trip when they were 10, while wondering away from the sight late one night to get a good look at the stars there were attacked by a wild animal. It all happened so fast but it from what the young child could remember it was a massive wolf like creature. It wasn't until K started to change at 14 that they put the pieces together what really happened on that night. His family is privy, helped him keep it under wraps and learn to control it. When he graduated collage (BA in English, so no wonder they are working in a casino ) he moved out of Texas, partially because of their wanting to find a city that was a little more friendly to their gender identify, and partly to find a more active supernatural city. Shortly after arriving they hunted down and befriended local Alpha Nate, not at all interested in the vampires strict oppression of wolf kind, he gladly packed up with the defiant Nate (him being easy on the eyes didn't hurt). Personality: Armel is a by the book kind of guy. Growing up with the vampires in power and after having his parents killed in front of him, he has learned to follow the rules. He does not have high expectations of most people and tends to stick to himself. Armel had to learn how to be a social butterfly, being friendly with most but always have a true motive. Due to his career he has learned the hard way how to lie and most of his smiles are fake. Armel is kind of like that friend who always has secrets.

History: As a child Armel had grown up with both his parents and his grandmother. He had magic as a child and could always be seen creating mischief in one way or another. His parents were killed when he as younger by the vampires for breaking one of the laws, he was watching. After that he changed, becoming cold and tactless. Ante Sharmon worked at the restaurant owned by the Penn family and worked hard to make sure he got to go to any school he wanted. Armel decided to go out of state for college, majoring in criminal law and minoring in forensic science. He came back to practice and take care of the only family left in his life.

Occult History: The Penn family line is filled with Alchemist all around. Most of the family’s wealth was created due to this ability and it is one passed down by the men and onto other boys. Most of the Penn men were hired to do “favors” by any other who needed more wealth and power and only demanded payment in the form of an “magical” IOU, or a large sum.

Armel became aware of his abilities around the age of five. His father noticed his magic and was rejoiced, and started to teach him and train him every day. Due to his only male figures sudden death, he had to learn everything else from his grandmother. She taught him everything she knew, but whit came down to Alchemy both of them were at a loss.
