Rules:
General Rules:
In real life we don’t know anything about anybody until they tell us, please don’t pull from the OOC/CS and know everything about the past/present/future; we aren’t god and we aren’t all knowing.
Very rarely is it okay [for example] to stab someone’s character with no warning, to avoid things like this use fillers like; [attempts to] stab or [tries to] stab, allowing a reaction and counter play from the other character, whom can allow the action if they choose.
If you’re a Vampire, you’re sensitive to sunlight – if you’re a demon you are repelled by holy objects; if you’re not the Alpha, or turned by an Alpha, you can’t transform until the full moon, things like that.
GM’s are trying to keep this fun for everyone; not just for specific people.
Nobody is perfect, everyone has realistic flaws and weaknesses; no exceptions.
Moving or talking for other characters to keep your story moving is fine, just don’t make any drastic or important decisions on behalf of them; it’s their character, not yours.
Just have fun! Don't sweat the little things and enjoy yourself! If you have a problem, PM any GM to handle the situation; we want to make this as enjoyable as possible for you!
Posting Policy:
A minimum of two paragraphs is required per post, post only after two other people have posted after you.
Absence Policy:
If you don’t post in a week, your character will become publicly playable for the sake of other people who are waiting on you. If you are overwhelmed by your character count, you may kill it off or make it a public character for anyone to control –please don’t make it an excuse for absence, if you don’t have time to RP as 3 characters; don’t make 3 characters, simple as that.
Killing Characters
Killing a character without consent is prohibited. The one exception is if someone quits, in which case the character will become publicly playable and may be killed off for plots-sake if desired.
Sexual Scenes:
Sexually Explicit scenes are set to a PG-13 rating IC. Describing boners or boobs is fine, just no intercourse; please fade to black IC and continue the scene in PM’s if you so desire, just keep it PG-13 in the IC because you never know who is reading.
Swearing:
Cussing is allowed –if you’re cussing profusely in every post, you might receive a notice to take it down a notch; but it is allowed.
Exceptions:
I understand that RP’s are about creativity, so I will offer a bit of slack on some posts where it’s not as drastic, however if you are a repeat offender or I get a message saying that your causing problems in the IC (-because your breaking lore, or power playing on behalf of others, etc.) you will be notified, warned and potentially asked to re-write your post.

-Maryanne Hopkins is the Coven Leader of New Orleans and is known the most experienced witch in New Orleans by other practitioners of the dark arts.
-Witches can recognize fellow casters upon physical contact. A handshake or brushing the arm of another witch will alert both of them to the other's connection to magic. The older and more experienced the witch, the more likely he/she can identify the other's strength.
-Can only preform spells by speaking the incantation, a common punishment for witches whom have practiced magic outside of a ‘spell-locked’ zone is the removal of the tongue, leaving many citizens of New Orleans mute for the rest of their lives.

The dominant wolf becomes the sole protector of the submissive receiver, who in turn the receiver provides unconditional companionship and love to their other half.
-Werewolf pheromones are known to make people go wild with lust, often used as a form of manipulation to get what they want; the only occult turned-off by this are Vampires, who cannot stand the smell.
-Alphas are determined by bloodline of the original werewolves, making their genetics far more powerful than those who have been turned.
-Alpha wolves are by nature more aggressive, hostile and powerful than ordinary wolves. They are superior in every way to their pack members, establishing total dominance over all other wolves; currently, the only known Alpha left standing is Nate Caterini who is a carrier of the original werewolf bloodline.
-A unique trait Alpha wolves possess is the ability transform at will, while normal wolves can only transform during a full moon unwillingly and the new moon by choice.
-Alpha wolves cannot infect individuals though a scratch or bite. To continue the strong bloodline, a pack ritual is preformed where the blood of the Alpha is consumed by a chosen being. Slowly, the chosen will begin to show wolf-like characteristics leading up to a painful and rigorous transformation. The ceremony is closed with the ‘first hunt’ in their new body. This ceremony can only be performed once throughout the entirety of the Alpha’s life.
-Contact with Silver will cause third degree burns to a Werewolves skin, ingesting or being pierced by silver is lethal if not treated quickly.
