~Lyssa Nemo-
you know what? Forget it. I can't even spell it right.

"Bwuh?!" Lyssa gasped, somewhat surprised.

"Come ooon Iravis, that's no fair!" She replied with a small pout, puffing her cheeks out just a bit as the Phoenix brushed passed her. She didn't know what she was doing, but she looked like she was leaving. Well that was just rude. Leaving in the middle of a conversation like that. Not to mention, she didn't tell her what sort of magic she could do. That was not how this worked at all. Nope nope, and she wasn't gonna take no for an answer.

Ignoring the man who was apparently at the door, or close to it, the Demon walked over to Iravis'

"Iravis," She said, maybe a bit too sweetly. "I got you!~" Suddenly she leaped onto the other girl, throwing her arms around her neck, holding her rather tightly as she rest her head on the other girls shoulder. Bwahaaha!~ And I'm not letting go until you tell me!~ Coome ooon, please? Pleaaaase? I'll buy you some chocolate! Strawberries? Ice cream? Come on!" There was a brief pause in her speech as she suddenly seemed to realize something, her tail swishing back and forth in obvious enjoyment. "Oh hey, you're actually kinda warm. Maybe I'll use you as a pillow."

She seemed completely oblivious of the man standing in front of the door, and continued to hold on to Iravis.

Vera Meadows

After the boy had introduced himself as the 'Heir of the Xiao Long house, Lin Hua', he walked over to one of the beds, rejecting Vera's friendly handshake.

"Hope we get along, I guess. Also, if my parents roped you into this, then don't worry, go ahead and try to do what the others do. I'll just be over here, ignoring you."

I'm sure you ignoring me would be extremely beneficial for the both of us, though.

"Well… I'm not really sure what you are implying, but if it's what I think it is, then I assure you that I won't do what you previously expected me to do. As long as we don't end up trying to obliterate this dorm in a fit of rage then I'm sure we'll have a much… calmer experience this year."

Again, Vera smiled.

"Hello... Girl.... Pleased to Meat you~... Oh my... I must say you do look Sweet... I could just... Gobble... you... up!...."

"Oh?"

Vera's eyes fell on the what seemed like a cross between a human being and a wolf of some sort, one which was most likely the boy's familiar. The words it–she spoke made the young lady raise an eyebrow. If anything, Vera wasn't particularly fond of being dismembered and eaten by a creature such as this one. Vera let out a light chuckle, smiling at the wolf/fox girl.

"Well, am I flattered! But, I will say this, just a minor life lesson from me; humans beings aren't exactly… tasty. I wouldn't want a person's tainted soul leaving a foul aftertaste in that mouth of yours. If you were to eat mine, well, then there's a high chance you would gag in disgust and spit it out. Yes, humans can be quite… 'foul tasting' sometimes."

Although Vera's eyes didn't seem to change colour, anyone could tell that there was an errie, dark mist beginning to brew inside of them. The girl was now centimetres away from the familiar, gazing down upon her with a ghostly smile. In all honesty though, this was just Vera's way of saying, 'Please don't eat me, I am not fucking food. Oh, yeah, humans can be dicks too, so watch yer step.'

Oops. My mask seems to have slipped off again.

Returning to her much more cheerful self, Vera backed away, hoping the wolf-eared girl wouldn't chomp off her limbs this time. She took a small glance at Lin and then back at the familiar.

"Oh, I do hope you can forgive me for my rudeness. My name is Vera Meadows. I'm guessing you're a new student at Liseranna Academy along with your master here?"

Of course, Vera had no knowledge of these two already being students at the academy. However, encountering a fenir at this school was definitely a first.

Things were definitely getting interesting.

Runik Brandt

It was definitely an understatement to say that Runik did not look amused. A scowl was etched onto his expression as the runes on his arms pulsed with each heated breath. Ice crystals formed just to turn to vapor as the temperature rose and plumetted around him before he finally whipped his hand out and cut through the air ahead of him. The surroundings darkened as a gout of flame rushed out ahead of him like dragon’s breath. He clenched his hand and pulled it back towards him and the flames receded towards him rapidly, leaving hoarfrost and a freezing chill in its wake. A clap of his hands and the area readjusted itself to match the surroundings, and the only trace of his magic was a ruined portion of the field. Something he might get in trouble for at a later time, but at least it had helped him calm down a bit.

Fingers ran through his hair as the flow of mana eased within his body and Runik let out an agitated sigh. How was it his fault transportation had been a bit delayed? Thanks to that he’d spent the last few moments prior to arrival with incessant screeching in his head. When the glow had vanished completely, he picked up his bags again and continued to make his way towards the dormitories to grab a room for the year. Hopefully his late arrival at least meant he didn’t have to deal with the Headmaster’s interference when it came to a roommate.

It was rather simple to find a room, but somewhat troublesome to actually arrive at it. The first dormitory he checked had been apparently fully booked, but they did manage to work out all the administrative paperwork and what not to secure him a room at a different location right then. Unfortunately it was on the other side of campus so he had to trudge across with all his luggage in hand and an annoyed expression. Flight or teleportation would have been very nice right now... and something he should look into this year actually. There wasn't a pressing need to advance his abilities with Naturalis at the moment, so a bit of experimentation with Neutra might just be a good idea.

Edgar Quantus

"He has 73ywygf7st, can't you see? Look, its there, the pattern. To think, our own son would have jqweafy682... Fetch an alchemist, and have him make the strongest blade he can. I want it to glow in the moonlight, and this boy... My son, Edgar. I want him sent to Liseranna! He will do well there."

Edgar stepped past people, walking through the crowd gathered inside the courtyard in which the Directors speech - at least, mostly speech - would be held. There were many new faces, a lot more than usual in fact, but there were also older faces; ones he knew, or ones he had only seen. All from different walks of life, all in different years, with different magic, different specialities and different abilities. They were all oddities waiting to be explored, all plants waiting to be nurtured, and most were but babies waiting to be taught. Each had a single defining feature, being that they all had unexplored potential that could be grown into a great flower, or force, or inferno, or energy. It was what let them into the school after all, the untapped potential of a young Mage in training, or that of a developing Mage still in growth, or even that of a fully developed Mage past their years at school - everyone had some hidden potential that needed only to be explored and understood to be released. Most found that hard however, having brains only of humans, or Elves, or Dwarves, or the Fallen or the Devils. A brain that still only understood that of the single plane they existed on, a plane so devoid of interesting things, yet so interesting at the same time.

Where was he going with that thought?

The Director had already begun talking, and though the sensation of him talking directly into ones mind was a bit weird, it wasn't exactly new. Most of the stuff he said was boring stuff he had heard before, but the whole dorm arrangements thing was pretty new; well, to Edgar at least. He reached into the closest pocket he had, and brought out a folded piece of paper, written onto it his dorm for the year.

1st Male Dorm Arrengement
  • Edgar Quantus
  • Richard Dowel

Richard Dowel? That wasn't a name he had heard of, or at least a name he didn't THINK he had heard. Memory wasn't exactly his strongest suit, so names and faces were often misplaced or lost entirely. The Director, whom had concluded his speech, pulled out a handkerchief and tossed it to the side, and everyone turned to it. Everyone in the courtyard turning their heads and focusing on one thing, all at onces. The guy was a sneaky bastard, that was for definite. But at least he was an eccentric, mostly fun bastard.
"I hate that trick... Honestly, he should really stop using simple tricks and do something cool..." why did the guy always insist on using such small tricks, instead of, say, using his extensive magical power to disappear? People might actually have been interested, but he still decided on simple things.

Edgar followed on with everybody who was filtering from the courtyard, and began making his way to the boys dorm. Whoever the Richard character was, he hoped that he was at least decent. They were to be room-mates, which meant they were going to have to like each other, willing or otherwise. If they didn't, well, he guessed it was tough shit. The Director sure wasn't gonna change anything, unless... No, he couldn't use that for an excuse. Not unless things got really bad.

He arrived at the door to the room a short while later, taking his time to view the school once again. The place was crisp and sheen, and pretty futuristic looking thanks to all the white walls that adorned quite a lot of the place. Somehow, the people who made this school had a pretty good idea of what we might be looking for in a modern magical school. Maybe it was foresight, maybe just intuition, but they did a good job.

Knocking slightly on the door just to alert anyone inside of his presence, Edgar stepped into the room, and immediately looked upon his room-mate with a slightly downed face.
"Ah, damn. I was hoping to get here a bit before you. Well, I guess thats the way things are going when sightseeing, even slightly." he said, looking around the room that he would be living in for the next year or so. It was pretty simple, and had a bunkbed (which looked kind of out of place) a desk, two chairs, and a door leading off to a bathroom. It was true that the headmaster liked messing with people in slight ways, but a bunkbed? That just seemed a little... Well, off, even for his standards, which was a stretch.

"Well then, I suppose we should get formalities out of the way to start with. I'm Edgar Quantus, Naturalis Mage, Age 16, Year 4."

Charlotte

While Livia talked, Charlotte simply tilted her head to the side.

'Easy there, bitch. You are gonna ruin your liver with this girl here.' The spirit inside Charlotte thought to himself.

Charlotte could pick it up, but didn't actually pay it any attention.

Her eyebrows arched sligthly downwards before she raised her hand and started shouting again, "I don't need a babysitter! I'm already 12! Mommy says that I can take care of myself now!"

She puffed her left cheek as she said so.

'Expected nothing less of the most oblivious idiot of the century."

Charlotte then turned to Emi, with sparkling eyes and a smile on her face.

"Whoa! You are an angel? As in, angel angel? Can you fly? You can, right? Can you take me flying some time?!" She seemed really excited at the prospect of flying, barely paying any attention to the little theater Livia was making.

A red light caught her attention and she turned to see the small spirit circling the ground, before waving at it. It was an strange kind of cute. She did not know what it was doing there, though.

Suddenly, the lights went out. When people otherwise would've been scared, Charlotte simply scanned the room with her eyes, confused as to what was happening.

When the Grim Reaper appeared by the door, though, Belphegor was quick to change places with the girl, thinking that the reaper was summoned to attack them.

She, well, he now, jumped forward towards Livia and would land right on her cleavage, both hands taking a hold of the girl's chest.

"Kya! I'm so scawed!" He would shout in a girly voice. "The big bad reaper is here for us, kya!"

Either the girl was trying to play a prank or she really did want to kill Charlotte. By what he could see, she was too a Pythones mage. Perhaps she wanted to be rid of their ccompetition.

Either way, she would give the girl a taste of her own medicine, or take the reaper to the ground. Both seemed as viable options.

@Rune_Alchemist@sakurasan

Lin Hua

Funny. Shikio had actually followed him all the way to his dorm. After that tantrum, he was unsure of whether or not the Fenrir was going to follow her master, but it seemed she knew it best to stick to Lin Hua so he could her her meat later.

Still, Lin Hua decided to hop into the bandwagon of Shikio, "Sure, go ahead, Shikio. An appetizer before the main dish." He turned to Vera with a smirk on his face.

What Vera said next, though, was definitely dreadful though. The sould of a tainted being... it didn't really sound appetizing, nor interesting for the young heir of the Chinese nobles.

"Tsk. Leave it then, Shikio. It wouldn't do to ruin your appetite before lunch."

She was quick to introduce herself. Then, it was Shikio's turn for introductions. After she was done with what she had to say, he'd stand up again and point at Vera.

"You are an odd one, I'll give you that. So I'll be good with you and let you make an impression on me. Quick, your school of magic and rank!" Lin said to Vera.

She had at least demonstrated that she wasn't like most other girls, just looking for info on what he liked. She was actually smart too.

Shikio Wahlaal

Interactions: @Jay KaltonVera Meadows @GrafRoy Zeppeli Lin

As the other female stood up to her, it all looked like it would turn into a quite deadly fight in a matter of seconds as Shikio seemed to be three breaths away from pounching on this girl and tear her appart. Yet as her Shikio's chains started to extend slowly at first but then slightly quicker they suddenly came to an halt as the menevolence in her eyes subsided. It didn't stop her from pounching on the other girl thought... she glomped her rather suddenly, enough for the younger and smaller girl to be thrown down on the empty bed with shikio over her. Yet Shikio didn't look agressive any longer, she looked... sad... she was quivering slightly as tears started wailing up in her eyes and she were laying on the other girl just for comfort right now.

She looked up at the girl with the biggest, cutest eyes she could manage, ears folded backwards as she gave her the sad puppy face.
"Pwease... fweed meee..." she whined beofre glancing to her so called 'Master' he who had no idea how it was to be hungry... he who never had to starve an entire day or longer in his whole life. She growled slightly at Lin before nuzzling up towards the girl she just met affectionativly. "I Shikio... be your best friend if you give me meat now~" she replied as it were her time to introduce herself, tail wagging from side to side where she somewhat sat atop the other girl.

As her master asked the female's magic and rank however she shot an evil eye at him before protectivly continue to peer at him. "No!... all she need to do is give me food and she be 10 hundred times better than Master" she said adding master in to actually sound insulting, as in not being able to keep his poor, defencless pup fed and protected meaning he was a very bad leader.

Alucard

Alucard saw a room with flashing lights and came closer rather curiously. He jumped up to the window and perched on the sill like some kind of overgrown bird peering in. A reaper and three girls, one of which was small and seemed to be attaching herself to the other's breasts. He smirked, he wasn't quite sure what was going on but it was certainly worth staying around for. Alucard idly jumped up his hearing and sight for the movement of his legs and began writing down something on his notepad. He had nothing better to do and besides, who knows, the little girl might grab something else next...

Kurosawa Emi

Livia’s rude comments to the younger girl were surprising but she thought that it was most likely just something that she said in the spur of the moment. “D-don’t worry about that. You look mature to me.” She said kindly to the young girl, attempting to make her feel more welcome. She did not dislike Livia because of this of course but looked up to her a bit for being able to speak her mind with such ease. When she asked if she could fly she nodded "Ye-yes.. Of course I can take you some time. I-it would be my pleasure. B-but not an angel angel... F-fallen angel..." she became a bit gloomy due to the fact that she may have dissapointed her.

Once Livia begqn to speak, she quickly turned her head to focus on something else. “I summon you gail.” Wh-wha? When the lights began to dim, she couldn’t help but feel worried but had didn’t mind it too much. Wh-what’s going on? After Livia had said the word summon, she knew what was going to happen, a familiar was going to appear.

When the lights finally came back and she could see around her, her eyes automatically went to the reaper that had not been there before. “C-cute… S-so cute” She said with one of her hands near her cheek and now covered by her cheeks. It looked so huggable and sweet. Her tastes had always been a bit weirder but this just seemed to be something that she thought anyone would think was cute. Her eyes were sparkling as she continued to stare at the reaper. Uwaaa, It’s just so adorable.. “Y-your familiar, yes?” She asked Livia.

Richard was just starting to relax when his roommate showed up. To be clear, he didn't necessarily hold any ill will towards this guy, but he was hoping for the possibility of a single room for once, roommates never seemed to end well for him, not once they saw him magic anyway. To most people, Richard was seen as a bit of a freak, and some were even scared of him, not because his magic was necessarily powerful, but instead because it felt dark. It wasn't really a healing magic, it could never get rid of a wound only give it to somebody else. Sitting up, Richard leaned his back against the wall and put on his best friendly face as he bored down at him.

"Hey there," He drawled a bit, "Name's Richard Dowel, Year 5 Warlock, 16." He told him, and paused for a second, "Medela, but do me a favor and have the nurse patch you up when you get hurt." He said, hoping it would come across as a joke. He slid down and extended his hand out to shake his, "Nice to meet you." He said, and then looked him over, "So, What's your brand of magic like?" He asked. He knew he'd have to tell him about his own eventually, and it's never done well for him to try to hide it. "I always thought Naturalis was one of the more interesting branches of Magic, Cooler than shooting fireballs or taking to ghosts anyway." He commented.

]Gall the Reaper[

The reaction of the girls due to Gall's presence was mixed. The one on the bed seemed to adore him, which was a new sensation since Gall became a skeletal embodiment of death. However the other, smaller one leaped forward and cemented herself on the body of Gall's master.

Instantly Gall's scythe was in motion, mere inches from the little girl, not quite touching either the small one or Livia. It would take nothing more than the movement of his wrist and the little one would be removed from the Fiore. "You will take your hands of the perfect breasts of Lady Fiore or I will remove from you your life." He said in his low, almost gravelly voice.

}Arthur Wick{

"Oh hey, you're actually kinda warm. Maybe I'll use you as a pillow." Arthur realized he had walked in on an awkward moment the second the door opened. The walk to the dorm had been uneventful, and as he walked up to the door it had opened on it's own, Iravis could always seem to tell when he was coming. Maybe it would be worth asking her about it someday.

The girl hanging of the phoenix was new however, clearly from the tail a demon of some sort. Rather than take the effort to walked around the two mages, well, the mage and magical creature but Arthur mentally digresses, he would teleport to the other side of the room. "And hello to you as well Iravis, has your morning been pleasant?" He asked as he took a mental image of the room, one never knew when it would be helpful to teleport to a random room and this one now housed a very important being. "Oh while my mind is on the subject, or I suppose completely off the subject but I was wondering if you would be attending my first class of the season. While you may not learn much perhaps you will encounter a pyromancer that you'd be willing to make a pact with, I know some of the other teachers have been pushing for you to get one if your going to be staying here." Of course the other girl was there too, but one thing at a time. Arthur would set Sorrow's reach against the wall before finding himself a seat.

Fear filled Iravis' blood as she was attacked from behind. Memories of this life and past ones invaded the Red-haired girl. They argued about how to respond. The huntress in her pumped adrenaline into her veins, advising her to run and fight from a better vantage point. The slave in her told her not to resist and beg for mercy. The goddess in her told the phoenix to smite this fool and the entire building with divine fire.

The phoenix had memories of being a goddess that morning.

"And hello to you as well Iravis, has your morning here been pleasant?"

The goddess calmly but firmly removed Lyssa's arms. If she tried to resist, Iravis would probably dig her nails in slightly as a bit of encouragement. After being detached, Iravis turned around and faced the teleporting mentor as he encouraged her to come to his first class, maneuvering partially in front of Lyssa as she did so.

"Girl, I would consider it unwise to ignore Sir Wick. This man is a teacher here." A goddess had to maintain her composure, especially in front of one of the men who saved her. And the fact that he was a teacher may prevent the hellion from making a further approach while Sir Wick was there.

But now to respond to his question. While she didn't like the fact that Mr. Wick had revealed that she wasn't a simple mage, it was a valid thing to ask. Iravis had been avoiding that thought, but she was treated nicely here and wanted to stay.

After a moment of thought, Iravis decided she would visit Alistar later that night. A personal invitation from Sir Wick was not to be ignored. "I would be delighted to attend, Sir, I can always further my knowledge, even on the basics ... I don't have to forge a pact immediately, or to a pyromancer, right?" As the red haired girl spoke, it was rather obvious that she was not enthusiastic about becoming someone's pet. The Phoenix was a goddess today, after all.

~Livia Fiore~

Whatever reaction she had been expecting from the kid, leaping forward and firmly groping her chest, was not one of them. The mage simply squealed, rather cutely as the kid landed on her, face flushing slightly in the dark. Gah, thank god the lights were out then. It was still bright enough to see, but maybe it was dark enough to mask her...embarrassment. Lets call it embarrassment. Thankfully, it didn't take Gall long to react. In mere moments, his blade was inches away from Charlottes' neck. Ah...thank you Gall. She mentally thanked her Familiar.

Though...

"You will take your hands of the perfect breasts of Lady Fiore or I will remove from you your life."

...as flattered as she was that he seemed to enjoy her assets, she didn't think now was the time.

"G-get off me you stupid brat!" Livia shouted, giving the girl a rather firm shove, attempting to dislodge her from body. "Gall, I want this stupid little brat out of my sight, now!" She snarled, breathing quite heavily out of sheer anger and annoyance. However, it didn't last long before she realized she was probably being quite...well, mean.

"You know what? Actually, no." She sighed, holding a hand to her forehead, failing and attempting to stop a headache from forming. Tsk, this is why she hated people. So noisy and annoying. "Just, get off me twerp, before I throw you out that goddamn window." This was technically her fault, and as much as she didn't like this brat...well, she was never one to not own up to her own mistakes and problems.

She put a bit of distance between herself and Charlotte after she pried the other girl off of her. She was just about to excuse herself from the room. After this she wanted a bit of time to herself, or at least alone with Gall possibly. However, instead she heard Emi speak up. She almost completely missed it.

“C-cute…S-so cute. Y-your familiar, yes?”

....cute? Her eyes widened a bit as she tilted her head towards her. Well, she wouldn't say Gall was exactly cute, but she herself did find him much more...appealing than other humans. The fact that Emi thought the same...well, that was much welcome. In fact, she found herself liking the other girl just a bit more.

"Aha, yes. Gall, Kurosawa Emi. Emi, Gall. He's my familiar who I was going to introduce both of you too," She harrumphed, re-adjusting her top slightly before folding her arms against her chest. "But Miss Charlotte von pervert twerp can't take a joke apparently." Although...judging from the feeling she was getting, it might have been the spirit that had been possessing her instead.

She would reserve judgement for later, though.

~Lyssa~

It was clear Lyssa did not wish to let go of Iravis, clinging firmly to the other girl. Indeed, even after she started digging her nails into her arms, she didn't want to let go. She finally only let go, simply because she wanted to meet this other person who had kind of just...teleported? She was pretty sure that was teleportation. She got a pretty good look at the guy as he spoke.

"Girl, I would consider it unwise to ignore Sir Wick. This man is a teacher here."

A teacher? Well, he didn't look like the stuffy un-fun kind, so she didn't have an issue with him. Even if he was though, she wasn't going to directly cause trouble in his presence, she wasn't that stupid.

...okay, maybe just a little.

"Pffft. Since when have I ever done as I was told?~" She grinned at Iravis, childishly sticking her tongue out playfully at the girl. "I still wanna know what kind of magic you can do, spoilsport. I am prepared to follow you all day if I have too!~" She giggled playfully. It was what Iravis said next that caught her a bit off guard. She vaguely registered the teacher saying something about it...but was this girl not human, then? Forming a pact only meant she could be some sort of familiar or something then, right?

...huh.

Judging from her tone, she didn't seem to be looking forward too it too much. While she was curious, she didn't comment on it for now. That'd be downright rude. And as much as she well, liked causing general mischief, she wasn't going to outright say something that could possibly genuinely upset someone. However...the teacher on the other hand. Well, hold on. They said something about a pyromancer. If she was a non-human creature looking to make a pact with someone...hmm...could it be she had some sort of fire ability?

"So you're a teacher huuuuh?~" She said to Wick, giving him a friendly smile. "Lyssa! I'm an Alchimist and all around friendly and adorable demon!~" She giggled cheerily. "So, Iravis won't tell me what kind of magic she can do! Buuut...lemme take a guess here. It's fire related, right? That'd explain why she makes such a comfortable, warm pillow." She finished with a giggle.

Runik Brandt

The building wasn’t even in sight yet when Runik sensed the swirl of magic around his person. It was familiar enough that he knew it wasn’t dangerous, but simply a headache and annoyance. The sensation faded quickly and he paused to rummage through the various pockets of his clothes, grumbling something about a shitty Headmaster all the while. More annoyed rather than confused when he found nothing, for a moment he debated just ignoring whatever had been deposited on his person. It was oh so tempting, but with a resigned sigh he set his bags down and began to pat himself down. Hopefully he didn’t look too stupid, but it didn’t seem like there was anyone around anyways. It took him a few moments to find the note, slipped in between his belt, and less time to read it before he crushed and incinerated it with a huff of annoyance.

Well at the very least he knew of his roommate even if he didn’t know the other boy personally. Logarius Okopir, or more commonly called Midas. An Alchimia user whose nickname made it fairly obvious what he specialized in. If Runik wasn’t mistaken then the other student should have been Sorcerer or Warlock class. Not really someone he was interested in fighting, but apparently the student was pretty alright for someone with the potential to easily become a rich snob. At the very least he couldn’t recall any heated words spoken alongside his roommate’s nickname.

He stopped his thoughts right there, figuring the two of them would meet soon enough and he could get an actual first impression then. No need to try and draw one up based off hearsay that he didn’t even remember all that clearly. It was a few more minutes before the dormitory came into view and thankfully only moments after he stepped inside that he was allowed to head up to the room. The Headmaster’s meddling hadn’t done anything to invalidate the forms and papers he had filled out earlier, so everything was still in order and ready for pick up.

Bags sailed gracefully through the air, bounced several times on the mattress, rolled just slowly enough to tip off the edge, and fell softly to the ground with light thumps. A perfect toss if he were the judge, and seeing as he was the only one around Runik guessed that role did fall onto him. He let his shoulders slump, relaxing as he gazed around the room that was his home for the next year, presumably.

It was about twice the size of his previous room, but this was shared so that was to be expected. The layout divided the room into two mirrored sides, and he figured a few things needed to be moved around on his part at the least. The hardwood floor was a nice touch over the carpet he had last year though. He slipped his shoes off by the entrance, tossed his beanie onto the bed, and set his backpack off to the side before cracking his knuckles. Runik wondered if anyone was below him at the moment as he glanced at the floor, but figured an apology afterwards would be enough. With that he approached the bed frame, took a deep breath, and pulled. It did not wish to co-operate and protested his decision greatly with a screech.

}Arthur Wick{

@RabidAnubis
@Rune_Alchemist

The demoness was an interesting one, that much was for certain. She didn't look like she was going to let go of Iravis, then releashed herself from the phoenix without a thought. Iravis warned the demon that Arthur was a teacher, and the girl just stuck her tongue out at the fire bird. At least the limits of Iravis' social grace and patience will be tested. Granted this dorm may be a pile of ash for it but a minor detail considering it all. Director probably wanted to demo this building anyways. Oh, the demon was introducing herself, Lyssa, demon alchemist. Apparently adorable too.

"I am Arthur Wick, if you are interested in fire or how to care for magical creatures than I am the man to ask. I suppose I'm also the man to ask if you want to know how to skewer people on the end of long pointy sticks too, but I doubt an adorable demon would care much for that. That out of the way," Arthur turned to look at Iravis, "Of course it doesn't have to be right away, nor does the kind of mage matter. I personally wouldn't mind if you stayed here without master, but the will of the Director isn't something I can change. Nor am really willing to even consider trying to change." Arthur would then look over at the clock on the nearby wall, "Oh, seems like I'll never make it to my classroom in time now. Need to get some things ready before the students arrive. A shame, walking is so slow and this school so big, if only I had an alternate form of moving that was faster than walking. I look forward to seeing you at my class Iravia. Till we meet again Lyssa." Arthur would stand, grabbing his spear before he slammed it into the ground, white light rising from the instructor. Then he was gone.

Making it back to his class Arthur made a quick check to make sure everything was in place. Rows of desks ascending upwards like a collages classroom? Check. Said desks and chairs being made of flimsy wood liable to igniting from a single spark? Check. Doors leading to a basketball sized area where basic and less than basic combative lessons could be taught? Yes. Small nearly invisible indents in the walls and floors of the two rooms filled with magical fuel that would light at the smallest flame that, while not actually endangering anyone who stayed in their seats would fill the room with flame and make class far more interesting? Check. Stone walls and ceiling, with a long thin window near the ceiling for ventilation? Check. Another door leading to a private office where he could talk to single students/keep the few readings materials required in this class? Check. Overly sweetened coffee waiting to be drank? Check. Box of donuts to be given to the students he liked later? Also check. Seemed Arthur had everything then. "Well then, might as well pass the time." Arthur said to himself. He had in fact said the entire checklist aloud but regardless. He stepped into his office and pulled out a small gaming system, while magic was indeed fun you couldn't deny that technology was going interesting places.

Logarius received yet another mysterious note, most likely by the hands of the Director, and had his fears about his dorm pretty much confirmed but there was still a slight sigh of relief from him. At least now Logarius didn't have to choose by himself where he was to stay. That could have potentially lead to all kinds of comedic situations and misunderstandings. Heading towards the dorm in question, with his hands stuffed into his pocket, he could only hope that this Runik fellow was as collected as Logarius claimed himself to be.

Entering the dorm room presented Logarius with the sight of a man with aqua colored hair pulling on a bed, and accompanying that was the auditory equivalent to that one time you accidentally stubbed your toe on the wall whilst going somewhere. After hearing that somewhat awful noise, Logarius entered the room and dropped his things in a corner of the room without much thought put into it as it was not that important to him.

"I, uh, notice you're a bit busy there so we can probably skip the handshake but I wanted to say my name is Logarius- ooh, but you already knew that, didn't you? Shit, shit. It's nice to meet you, and I do hope that we'll at least get along enough that we won't want to kill each other."

Logarius smiled sheepishly, his top four teeth catching the light and shining brilliantly against the white backdrop of his other teeth. He scratched the back of his head and really hoped that this guy didn't decide to punch him in the face. Another pair of broken glasses wouldn't benefit him much.

Edgar Quantus "Vocab" and Richard Dowel "Natsu"

The new room mate slid from the top of the bed, greeting Edgar more or less normally. So he was a year 5? He had a thought, that maybe they could have been more powerful, but then realised how stupid that actually was. The guy then went on with his name, rank, school, etcetera. Medela was a pretty interesting school; the art of healing, and all its related forms.
"Yeah, I guess Naturalis can be interesting." he replied, shaking the guys hand whilst glancing both a bit more over the room and over Richard, "But in all honesty, I dislike all the ones who use nature, and plants. I dunno, I just don't really... Appreciate it, I guess. Anyway, my branch is time manipulation. You know, altering time streams and stuff like that."

He turned slightly away from Richard, and grabbed a small object from the desk; a pencil pot.
"Right, let's see." he said as he threw it up in the air with a small amount of force. He looked straight at it, stretching his hands out a little, with his arms making Vs.
"Renal ich bal ein." he said, slightly under his breath. He said it quickly, surprisingly quickly, as if it was something he had been trained to say as fast as possible.
"Naturalis: Chronos Disruption." and with the final words said, the pot, that was surprisingly still falling, began to fall slower. Whatever it was, it was strange.

"How's that?"

Richard stood with his arms crossed as Edgar began to explain his magic. His ears perked up when he heard the mention of Time Manipulation, as this piqued his interests. That would be very interesting, as it had applications outside of normal combat or self defense. He watched with bated breath as Edgar picked up the Pencil pot and proceeded to toss it up in the air. Richard took a step back, wanting to put some distance between him and the pot for when it would fall and hit the ground, but relaxed when Edgar started his incantation and the pot slowed down.

"That's astounding" Richard commented, and reached out to grab for the pot, but as he neared it his hand began to slow, much to Richards surprise. It was as if his hand were moving through some kind of thick syrup. He pulled his hand away, and it began to resume it's normal pace. "That's super weird..." He said, examining his hand with curiosity, "I'd show you mine, but healing does require a wound in order to function." He pointed out, with a bit of a smile.

The pot kept falling, moving as slowly as it did a minute ago. Edgar stood in amusement as the fifth year placed his hand within the distorted area, and watch as his hand became slowed as well.
"Yeah, it is a bit weird. It's got this feeling when your in a distorted time field that you can't really describe properly." he said, reaching in with his left hand and grabbing the pot. His hand didn't slow, however, and a tattoo, or rune if you will, began to glow; the symbol for space. He had more runes across his body, but the two on his hands were the main ones - space and time. If he didnt have those, then his magic wouldn't work. Even with the onj132fhr87eywf the runes made up the basis for everything, making them indispensable. As he grabbed the pot, though, the rune stopped glowing, and the time field returned to its normal movement.

"I guessed your power worked with healing, but what actual power does it have? I mean, I've seen some odd Medela Magic before, so what's yours all about? Do you regenerate limbs, just heal wounds, reverse cell growth or decay?" he started listing off some different types of Medela magic that he could recall, and then looked at Richard to see if he was correct. He couldn't have been that far off, surely.

Richard watched as Edgar grabbed the pot and stopped it from hitting the ground. He thought be may be home free as far as sharing his power went, but Edgar decided to push the topic. With a slightly exasperated sigh, and forced a smile and gave a light laugh. "Well, I'm a little weird too." He said, deciding that may be the best way to lead in with a lighter tone. "It'll be easier for me to just show you."

"Alright, so just please, keep in mind through this, I'm not a masochist, or a sadist for that matter." He said carefully, and produced a small dagger from a sheath on his belt. He gritted his teeth together and made a small cut on his forearm. Grunting in pain a tiny bit, "I promise, I'll take this right back." He said, and placed his hand above the wound, causing the runes on his glove to glow. "Medela: Tainted Remedy." He said, and the cut disappeared from his arm, and onto Edgars. "That's my trick, I can give or take the wounds of others, be it a cut or a lost limb even, I can move around the damage." He explained, and waited to see how Edgar would take this.

The fifth year drew a dagger, and proceeded to cut himself across the arm. It was a little odd seeing him cut himself to do his magic, but then he saw why. Edgar watched as, in an instant, the cut on Richard’s arm disappeared. And, in the same instant, he felt a sharp sting in his arm, and it almost felt wet. He looked down at the arm, and saw the blood first, then the cut; the same one Richard had just inflicted upon himself.
”Huh, that's… Interesting. Is that just Medela or are you combining it with Neutra as well?” he questioned, looking over the wound with close to morbid curiosity. It was, indeed, the same cut from the same dagger, the cut that Richard originally possessed. Even the groove of the dagger was the same, as if it had just cut Edgar’s hand rather than his own.

”So you take wounds and transfer them over to another person. I assume there are limits, but I'm not gonna go into that…” imagine what he could do with jn8yque8f7wd, it would be pretty incredible… he thought, still looking over both Richards arm and his own.
”So I assume then you can take it back.”

A smile danced across Richards face at Edgars reaction. That was new, most people tended to be repulsed by his ability. “I’m pretty sure it’s just Medela, but honestly? I’m the only person with this I’ve ever come across.” He admitted, “I call it Medela, but it’s so out there, I’d almost put it in it’s own class.” He mused, and then said,”As far as limits go, I can’t bring people back to life, and I can only transfer onto a live body.” He said, “And if I wanna fix something like an amputation, I need to have what I’m reconnecting. But where are my manners?” He asked rhetorically, “I can take that back, yeah.”

He reached out for Edgars arm, and repeated the action that he performed on his own arm, and winced as the cut resurged back on his arm. He withdrew his arm and grabbed it at the cut. “Don’t worry about this baby though, ” He said, “I’ll probably hand it off to some eraser later today” He chuckled and squeezed it a bit to mute the pain. “I tend send pain back at those guys, I really hate what they do to the first years.” He said, hoping that that little piece of information wouldn’t throw Edgar off too much.

Edgar watched as the mage took his arm and, in a split second, the cut had closed, and there was no evidence it was ever there save a small amount of blood. He took notice of Richard’s reaction, as the wound had ended up back where it originally began.
”That's interesting, and I don't say that often. I have never seen something pure Medela that looks as if it involves teleportation. I’m not gonna pretend to understand it, since it's cool for what it is! he said, stepping away from Richard and sitting down on the bottom bunk. Then, out of nowhere, several runes began to glow on Edgar’s body.

The ones on his hands were glowing, as well as one on the right of his neck, one on his right cheek, one that looked as if it was carved directly into his left eye (but seemed to have no translation), as well as several others across his body.
”Ren eis fen os bas. Naturalis: Chronos 89fet7dbvg” the rune activation was followed by yet another, unnaturally fast incantation. However, instead of coming out as "Disruption", it came out as a garbled mess of odd sounds.

In the same instant, Richard felt the cut, though seemly normal, almost change. A good change; a change that would make it heal faster, at least to a degree. All Edgar had really done, though, was alter the time stream of the small area around the cut so that it would move faster through time. The cells would grow back, and it would close much, much faster - maybe even 7 times faster.
”Since we are now officially buddies, I guess, take that as a little gift.” he said, standing from the bunk and walking to the door, ”See you later then! and with that, he left.

Runik Brandt

Thanks to the noise, Runik remained unaware of his roommate until the other student actually spoke. By that time he had already pushed the bed frame up against the far wall, next to the windows. Perking up at the voice, he turned around, waved in greeting, and then proceeded to continue moving things around. None were quite as heavy as the bed frame had been so thankfully there was only his footfalls to compete with this time. The nightstand went next to the bed’s new position before he began to move the table into the bed’s original location.

“Well I’m guessing you got a similar enough note from the Headmaster to know I’m Runik, but can’t hurt to actually introduce ourselves. Runik Brandt, 6th year, and yeah, hopefully things go smoothly.” He set the table down just as he finished speaking and turned to face his roommate again. An eyebrow climbed at the set of gold teeth that gleamed in the light, but he left it at, figuring it was Logarius’ catalyst or something similar. As far as first impressions went his roommate didn’t seem to be the type to flaunt his wealth, so he doubt that was the reasoning.

Turning his attention to his still packed bags, he thought about it for a moment before he shrugged dismissively. He could unpack them at a later time, and if he wasn’t mistaken then class would get called before he was halfway through anyways. Might as well just leave them for tonight then. “Gonna go and see if I annoyed anyone below us with all that noise, want to come?”

Kurosawa Emi

That’s good, she seems to have calmed down a bit more, she thought as she looked at Livia who was introducing her to Gall. She smiled at him “N-nice to meet you Gall” Her smile was sweet as if staring at an adorable stuffed animal. However, she noticed that Charlotte seemed to be a bit aloof which made her worry.

Just as she was about to ask her if she was ok, Charlotte began to speak. “Eh? Eh? I am so sorry for anything that I did! It was belly!!” She bowed her head almost all the way to the ground. That moment didn’t last long before she saw something out of the corner of her eyes. Startled, a bit of her wings came out, showing a dark black wing that glistened and was so dark that it made you think that it was a whole nother color. They quickly retreated once she had realised that they came out.

Was he ok? What is he doing there? She rushed over the window and opened it a bit. “A-are you ok? You’re not hurt, are you?” Tilting her head a bit, she had a sincere face that said that she was worried sick about the man. He held out her hand for him to grab. “C-come inside, It's not safe like that.”

The fact that he was watching them like a pervert went entirely over her head. Her other personality or as she calls herself Elise, however, had an opinion of this man
Are you fucking serious? You are seriously just going to let a strange random guy into our dorm? You know what bitch, it might not be your problem since I do most of the killing but jeez… No sense of danger whatsoever. The voice in her head was faint and Emi couldn’t hear even a little bit of it. All that went through her head were worries about others. If it was The other side of her, she most likely would have just pushed him off. Emi felt a bit nauseous because of that thought but was able to quickly redeem herself with a quick head shake since Elise was gone. She continued to plaster a sweet smile on her face and wait for him to come inside.

Richard glanced down at his arm as it began to visibly stitch itself together, albeit slowly. At this rate, his wound would be healed by the end of the night, which would be nice, though he was looking forward to passing it off to somebody deserving. He glanced back over to Edgar to see him leaving the room, and Richard decided that he may as well do the same. He wouldn't get anywhere by moping around his room, even if he could for a nap right now. He tapped his hands against his knees and started out of the room.

Richard decided that he may find something interesting upstairs, having heard a bit of a ruckus, probably the sounds of people moving in, but it couldn't hurt to take a look. Venturing to the upper level, he looked around to see signs of where the sounds may have come from. He noticed a door was open, and heard a voice say, “Gonna go and see if I annoyed anyone below us with all that noise, want to come?”

"That must be the source then," Richard thought to himself, and walked up to the room, sticking his head in. " Hey there, heard the tell tale sounds of moving in and thought I'd come and see who's stationed above me." He said, ""Name's Richard, year 5, nice to meet both of you."" He greeted while looking over the pair. One he recognized, a 3rd year called Midas, who had a reputation for his ability to make gold, which could apparently make anybody popular. He wasn't familiar with the other though, and appeared to have a thing for runes, as they appeared all over his forearms

Alucard

Alucard's eyes widened slightly at the flash of black wings that accompanied his presence being noted. About time, he was wondering if he'd be able to sit here until nightfall, which of course would've had its own merits. He put away his notepad and grabbed the hand, his smile a mix between pleased and predator. With a light step he entered the room and promptly proceeded to belittle Gall, "You're Gall hm? It was quite rude of you to not show up at the dorm. Next to that I find myself falling off the roof from exhausting myself looking for you out of concern and barely catch myself on the windowsill. What's more I find you threatening a girl. You are making a very poor first impression." With that he turned to Kurosawa and knelt, still holding her hand and lightly kissed the back of it. "It is you I have to thank for giving me a safe escape from my treacherous position, you may call me Alucard." He finished dramtically and looked at up at her with a mischievous smile. Which incidentally put him in a good position to examine the girl quite closely, this one wasn't too shabby either, in all departments.
