No sooner had Jenet ran over to the first two people a third...person? Ran up to the group. Honestly, Jenet didn't know what this new person was, perhaps some sort of little demon? What Jenet did know, though, was that it freaked her out and she almost screamed when she noticed it running up to them on all fours. Thankfully though it seemed just as concerned as getting the hell out of this situation as the rest of them. The other two people also said they should get out of there, which meant that soon Jenet would be running for her life.

"W-Wait, let me try something." She told them all before any of them could start to set off. If they were going to run away, she, at least, had a spell that could help a bit. She raised her hand and said "H-Haste!" That was how the characters in video games cast their spells right? Well, it seemed to work as a veil of magic went over them all briefly. "Um, that was haste, it um, it'll make us go faster so let's pick a direction and go for it." Jenet wasn't exactly sure how much faster they would all run considering she didn't know how fast it would make her just casting it on herself and the spell got weaker the more people that she used it on. Come to think of it, she had picked spells that were only beneficial if she used them on as few people as possible. Well, it was too late to go back and change that now. she could only work with the spells that she had chosen for herself. Who knows, maybe the boost would be enough to get all of them out of here safely. She could have just used it on herself, but if it wasn't enough...well Jenet wanted to stick around people who looked like they could actually fight.

四百二十燃やせ!!!

Orion woke up to noise blasting his ears, yelling, a mix of excitement and fear. It was like being at collage again but he was pretty sure that he was somewhere else. His eyes opened to a stampede of colors, noise, people, and weird people. The fuu- oh right, he'd re-classed or something. That or his last drink had not been water.

He was half dragon though right? Orion could feel his new appendages- and they were shockingly small. He'd wanted like, giant wings he could fly on not these puny things poking through his shirt. And his tail! It was like, not large enough to impale someone. Wow. Orion ran though his skills again in his head. He'd basically chosen the first three that had shown up and he couldn't really remember them that well. Could he bring up his stats and check them? The thought was interrupted by a bleep of a quest thing. Escape? Three guesses?

Kinda sounded like a suckish reward but he might be able to get something good out of it since it didn't sound too hard. However the main thing was that the cheers were getting less and the screams of pain were getting more. Probably a bad thing. Orion did the only reasonable thing and run away with surprising speed, well at least one his skills was decent. He was able to weave through the crowd with ease, leaving the screams further and further behind him. It was like he knew where everyone was going so he could slip through the dancing bodies casually. Hadn't there been other people in the room that had been slightly more normal? Well didn't matter, he had to think about his questions so he didn't say something stupid when he got his reward.

Eri and the Dunk Lord - 5 minutes to impact

"What was that?!" Eri shouted as he jolted awake. He blinked four times and shook his head a little to clear his mind.

His vision was blurry as if he'd been asleep for a long time, and maybe he had been. After the character creation he was sure some time had passed but he didn't know how much... As his vision cleared words appeared in front of his eyes.

“Compulsory Quest: Survive the Battlefield
Difficulty: Medium
Reward: You live to see another day”

"This is a battlefield?" He said.

He looked around and he finally noticed all the bodies and also the noise, and also the armies. He scrambled to his feet and took stock of his inventory, which consisted of: nothing. He looked around frantically and saw a small group of people seeming just about as out of place as he did. He didn't exactly know who they were but it was better than nothing, and maybe he'd actually get more than 5 minutes of memories this time.

"Heyyyy!" He called out, running towards them. "Do any of you know what's going on?"

Unbeknownst to him, a star streaked through a faraway sky. Five Minutes till Impact.

If there was one thing that was boiling Germ's ass it was the growing number of members in this party, let alone the universal frowns emanating from their faces. Now normally they'd just flip them the bird, punch pretty boy in the nuts, and high tail it out of there. But the middle of two armies is decidedly not the best place to start burning bridges, so instead they just deepened their frown and bit their tongue. It was then goggles showed up, and it was an underwhelming entrance. The weapons she chose for herself matched her like ham and peanut butter, badly. She didn't carry herself well either, she didn't belong in this mess.

That thought doubled when a kid showed up, "Jesus Christ are you serious? Whatever you guys are yapping about needs to STOP! We need to get this kid out of her now!" The yelling had a hint of desperation behind the glass and sandpaper. Germ didn't give much of a shit about these other boobs, but a kid was something else entirely. No child was going to get killed under their protection.

The luchador calmly grabbed the girl off his shoulder and placed her down. Dragon Rayo analyzed the situation; he walked over and peered over the rooftops to see what had been causing the commotion. The blood-curdling screams and the mighty drums was giving him mixed feelings. At this moment, he couldn't tell if he was excited or nervous.

Everyone was making introductions behind him, but he put that to the side. There was a cloud of smoke enveloping people; he needed to figure out what the mysterious vapor was and how it was harming the civilians. Every time he witnessed a person become swallowed by the cloud. they would emit cries of pain. The sounds made his legs shiver: was it from excitement or fright?

His eyebrows moved up once he noticed the mist would separate. The clod of air had expanded its mass into little wads of red that chased individuals who scurried out of the general direction, or the street. It was unsettling to have to watch the individuals who took other routes be followed by the red clouds; Dragon acknowledged it was for the importance of finding what the cloud's capabilities were. Rayo stepped back once he had saw the fangs of dog emerge from the red and attack one of the individuals. The little, red clouds pulled their victims back to the mother cloud. "Perros demonio..."

Unfortunately, there were clouds scaling the building the party had used for safety. He clenched his fists and gritted his teeth; a battle was going to commence and there was no escaping it. This was his time to become a hero. Looking behind him, he saw the group he had to protect. Looking at the streets, he saw the gente feo he had to protect.

"Little ninos! Get inside quickly and hide! I will protect you," he roared. His strength boost, Rugido de Fuerza, had been activated. The luchador ripped off pieces of the concrete ledge of the rooftop and chucked them at the incoming clouds. "You may call me Dragon, ninos." Drgaon Rayo then did the unthinkable and jumped off the rooftop back into the crowds. His legs creating a small crater thanks to his strength boost.

Takeyoshi Sakujima- 建物の屋上で

The tengu rolled his eyes at the little girl's demands for candy. That kind of request probably wouldn't have been much of a deal if he was a banker, if only to please a child, but with a complete lack of any sort of funding, that sort of thing was going to be impossible without actually MAKING the damn candy.

"Uh... Money. Let me get some money, and then we'll talk," Takeyoshi replied, a deadpan expression on his face as the bunny girl from the room came bursting onto the roof from... Somewhere. Right. He had forgotten about her; to be fair, though, there was enough to worry about with his gathering of allies. One more wouldn't hurt, right?

"...Yes, we came up here to escape whatever it was that was causing the mass freakout down on the ground. Though, to be fa-
Oh, son of a bitch."

Takeyoshi's words were (coincidentally) apt, given the group of hellhounds that were now gunning for their faces. Then, the unthinkable happened.

The luchador leaped off the fucking building and back into the crowd.

So now here they were, a little girl in oversized clothing, a tengu with absolutely no offensive power whatsoever, and a rabbitgirl.
Facing down a bunch of hellhounds.
And their biggest defender had thrown himself back into the fire.

"...So. Run or fight?" he asked, beads of sweat popping up on his face as he slowly backed up from the encroaching beasts. "I vote run. Because, you know, I'm pretty sure that going to a place with fewer people is going to just get us killed faster. Unless, y'know, you two have some kind of instakill skill for this sort of thing. Then I'm all ears."

Seriously, what kind of a sick joke was this place?! Even if he had been tossed into this mess, this was NOT what he had signed up for!
Granted, he had expected to start off from the bottom and be fully reincarnated and smoothly work from there, but not THIS!

"Citizens, I am here to save you all!" Dragon Rayo had announced to the public. He was discouraged when had found that no one was paying attention to him. Everyone was running from the huge cloud of smoke. There was still a while before it would reach Rayo so there was no time for standing around. He needed to get these people to safety. This is what he had signed up for, this could be his calling.

"Everyone listen to-" The luchador was interrupted by some elbows to the ribs again. "This again?" The feeling was all too familiar and he was not about to have it happened again. Anger had taken him and caused him to grab a man with ostrich legs by the shirt. He picked him up easily above his own body. "What is wrong with you? Por que eres un culo?" The citizen was scared out of his mind; the luchador couldn't blame him.

"Do not hit me in the ribs! I can easily just thr-" The luchador paused for a moment. He looked at the ground defeated. "Muy stupido, Rayo, muy stupido." He eyed the man and told him to find a room once he recovers. Dragon Rayo proceeded to chuck him to a nearby rooftop. This was a repetitive task he took upon himself. His strength allowed him to grab the passerby and chuck them to the rooftops. One by one, he grabbed people by the back and power-threw them on top of the buildings.

The worst injury for the civilians is a few broken bones or a concussion. They were much safer than running away from the huge cloud of smoke. Being on top of a rooftop will give them a better chance of survival. Another thing, the cloud might have to keep growing smaller which will hopefully show a sign of defeating. The most important thing though was saving the innocent and weak.

The Noble Swordswoman who does not Tolerate Evil

Mimori noticed that several others had joined her and the hooded girl, others who had been laying out in the field. As they ran, their surroundings changed from a clearing to a thick forest, and certainly there appeared to be something moving towards them...! Mimori had to catch herself, nearly knocked over, when... when... a... dinosaur person?! It was... it was a dinosaur person, it was the only way she could describe him, burst past her, clearly rather frightened. Not only that, but a second of the creatures, and a third, came sprinting in fear out of the foliage.

The former police officer, however, could not help but notice that the final creature's tail had been set alight. And then.... there was heat, and sound, and Mimori tossed herself to the side, landing on her feet and sliding across the floor.

... There was a woman, now. Armored, baring a flaming longsword. There was no denying that Mimori felt fear rising in her, but courage was not the absence of fear, now was it? Slowly, she rose to her feet, taking a deep breath as she did. It had sounded like a woman screaming...

"... Did those creatures attack you?" Mimori had to get an explanation first. She had to.

The Immature and Explosive Mage Girl Looking to Make the Most of This

"Eh...?"

Miyu looked over her shoulder when she heard the commotion from behind her. And... there was a rabbit girl. No, really, she had the ears and everything. For a few moments Miyu stared, and then cracked a smile. Yes! Something like that, something cute... it was a nice thing to have around, wasn't it? Especially after something scary, something cute, such a literal bunnygirl, was a nice relief. She peered up at the girl's ears, and wondered if they were soft and if she could touch them. Well, she would touch them, in fact. It didn't matter what the girl said.

"... We're all up here 'cause of that, fluffy ears!" she gave her happy reply, before returning her attention to the tengu. After a few moments of consideration when he mentioned money issues, she came to a simple conclusion.

"The longer it takes for you to get me candy, the more candy you have to get me!" Miyu declared. Until her improving mood was quickly shattered when a group of very large, beast-like hounds appeared from the clouds. For a few moments, Miyu felt nothing but fear. The creatures were large, terrifying... she took several steps back, not even realizing the luchador had jumped away.

"... W-wait... tht's right, th-those things I...!"

Miyu squared up. That's right! She had picked out spells, hadn't she? So...!

"... Hmph! Acting like creepy dog monster things or whatever and hurting all these people, didja really think nobody was gonna get mad?" she asked. Now... try to cast. Try to cast. If it didn't work she could run... but if she could it would be really cool!

Miyu was trying, at least, for the one spell she'd picked. It was ranged, and could fire out a bunch of exploding orbs... Did she have to say its name? She almost hoped she did, but right now she just had to hope this would work.

So You Want to be a Hero

Already Tori was having fun in this new-found adventure. Exploring the area of parts unknown, meeting new companions, and doing a quest. It was like she was in a video game. Tori had so any questions about this new world she found herself in, but there didn't seem to be anyone to ask to get the answers. Well, except maybe the ones she woke up with. Those were questions for another time, though.

The scenery then changed from the grassy area to the forest as Tori followed the others. She turned her side to side, wondering if they were even heading the right way. That question was quickly answered as a trio of lizard beastmen things ran past everyone, one after the other. Tori had quickly darted to the side to narrowly avoid the first one and watched as the next two followed. Tori also noticed that the third one's tail was on fire, though why that was so she had no idea. I thought we were saving a damsel in distress, Tori thought to herself. So why are the monsters running away?

That next question was also answered in the form of a flaming fireball hurtling from the direction the lizard beasts came from, and a red-clad woman with a rather large sword appearing as well. At once Tori could see why the lizard beasts were running as if their lives depended on it. It was because they did. Tori immediately grabbed the nearest tree and moved behind it, shaking in both excitement and fear as she peeked at the woman from behind the tree. Tori still had little idea as to what was going on, but.... yeah. The blue-haired woman of their group walked up to the red woman, which made things more exciting to Tori while also making Tori concerned for Mimori's well-being. All Tori could do in her confusing confused state was to watch the scene unfold itself.

The Cowardly Fighter

Ohhhh myyyy gawwwdddddd. Fricking wolves. He was running from fricken wolves. His life span was going to be even shorter in this life. Oh. my. Gawd. There were so many people in front of him, all tearing and shoving to get away. Orion tripped again, but this time was shoved before he could regain his feet, and promptly stomped to the ground by the mass of bodies, shoved again every time he almost got his footing. His attempts to crawl away were equally futile and the cloud of wolves and pain descended upon him and he screamed. Loud and long. Through the incredibly pain shooting through his nerves he got a notification like the first one. Join the wild hunt? Oh hell if it made the pain stop yes. His fingers reached for the 'yes' button and he paused. Wasn't there something he was doing instead? Like a que- another spasm of pain ran through him and the qualm was dismissed and he massed the button as fast as he could.

Battlefield Survival Guide for Dummies

Sonia raised her bent shield to protect herself from the flying debris, damn whatever that army was firing packed a punch, and what's even worse the monster army was able to take these without a scratch. The catgirl turned away from the rest of the group when the horn sounded, it didn't take much to figure out what this signified, her face paled at the sight of the charging monster army. This was exactly the last thing they wanted to happen; to get caught up in the middle of this battle they probably had no real part in. "Okay!" She shouted. "Change of plans then, we run towards that human army... I guess we look human enough so they might take us in." Although as she said this Sonia glanced at the demon, it looked anything but human, maybe they could ditch it somewhere along the way if that becomes an issue.

Before any of them could start running it was somewhat too late as the forefront on the monsters had already reached them. From what Sonia could tell most of the group was made up of goblin looking creatures, all armed with shoddy looking weapons and sometimes even without real weapons like a spiked wooden board. They didn't have much of a choice anymore it looked like, they probably had to fight off these monsters before being able to run. Sonia tried to relax her body, while she had no clear idea how to active her techniques, she did have some hunches. She breathed in deeply, and when the moment felt right she shouted "Bullrush!" Around her soon emanated a faint white aura, barely visible to the naked eye but was definitely there. What was much more obvious was the sudden feeling of power flowing through her limbs, that seemed to have done the trick.

Without delay she launched into her attack, charging at twice her normal speed. While she knew nothing about fighting, she can always wing it and learn on the fly. She smashed her shield into the nearest goblin, the creature flew back quite a few feet from the blow as splinters exploded from her poor, abused shield. She looked down and saw it was missing a board, maybe she should be more careful or else she wouldn't even have a shield anymore. Bullrush wasn't meant to last long and so after just that one attack Sonia felt the power dissipate leaving her back in a normal state. The catgirl turned to face another goblin to slash at, although as her sword connected it ended up getting stuck partway through. Good thing she chose force as her attribute which allowed her the strength to cut the rest of the way with the rusty blade. There were a good number of goblins, way too many for her to take on alone, she hoped the others would jump into combat soon.

When Heroics Go Wrong!

To say this was something unexpected would be considered the grossest of understatements. Really, when did one ever experience the situation of cowardly lizardmen running away from a wrathful female knight armed with a blazing sword? This made the newly reborn elf's mind blank and balk for a moment... and the resulting explosive air wave only aggravated that sense of muddleheadedness even further along with throwing the boy aback in a literal manner. "...Well, this wasn't how I would have wanted it." Laying face down in the foliage covered by larger than average shrubbery, the boy decided to stay still and play dead to try to get the basic gist of what was happening with his sensitive ears.

Heroically Heroicing

Really, what could one say in such a situation? This may be a common sight in this sort of world- hell if Harmonic knew. A lifetime of experience in his would had ill prepared him for the absurdity he now faced though. After the shadow that had passed over the group just moments ago, he should have really expected to see more creatures than just humans inhabiting this world. He didn't quite expect to see three fleeing idiots, one on fire, being chased by what appeared to be a madwoman.

Mad in more than one sense of the word.

As Mimori stepped forward Harmonic felt a certain unease. Was this really the wisest thing to be doing? He felt as if they were all going to end up dead as a result of getting in this woman's way.

Still. They needed some sort of starting point.

Clearing his throat, he stepped forward as well. If indeed this was his harem after all, it wouldn't be proper to sit back and let them do the talking. He spread his hands out in front of him in a calming gesture, talking more smoothly than he could have in his previous life.

"Miss, surely if those creatures harmed you in some way we can assist you in finding them? They appear to have outrun you for the moment after all, maybe we can help each other out here?"

He added a smile for good measure. He sure as hell wasn't planning to trust a woman who lit one of those... humanoids on fire, but in the short term it wouldn't pay to aggravate her further. Making a friend in a strange world was a more wise first move.

Wannabe Hero Ranca Blom

Right, to recap... Loud scream. Dinosaur men. Giant fireball. Crazy sword lady. Any normal person would probably be somewhat disturbed by how jarring a change this was from their previous life. Ranca, of course, was not a normal person. No, she was something much, much different.

For you see, Ranca was... An idiot. And thus, her only reaction after ducking for cover was to think "this is so cool!". She needed to be a part of this as soon as possible, and so began thinking over what to do next. The scream must have came from the crazy sword lady, but the dinosaur men seemed kind of scared... Had she attacked them? Had it been in self-defence? Unfortunately, she spent a little too long thinking this over, and just as she was about to open her mouth she realized that everyone else in her little group had already beaten her to it. Well, that was an exaggeration, since it was just the blue ponytailed girl and the hobo who were questioning the crazy sword lady... Come to think of it, it was a kind of weird group they had here. Why was there a hobo alongside four girls? Well, she assumed the elf was a girl, they looked pretty girlish from what she could see...

Oh, there I go, thinking too much again. Ranca shook her head, trying to free her mind from those distracting thoughts. A hero operated on instinct and heart, not such silly concepts as rational thought! She had to say something, though, otherwise she'd look kind of dumb...

"Yeah, what's going on? Don't worry, we're not badguys! At least I'm not, I dunno about everyone else, but I'm sure they're all cool people! And, um..." For a moment, she wondered if her dino-hood would make the crazy sword lady think she was in cahoots with the dinosaur men, but she quickly shook off the thought and tried to continue. "I'm Ranca Blom, and I'm a hero! So if you need any help, ask away!"

Mimori is a Hero

The girl was clearly quite on edge, and had apparently been set upon by assassins. This was naturally a rather difficult situation, and some of the responses she was seeing were a bit... silly. The girl in the dinosaur hoodie loudly declaring she was a hero... well, at least that didn't seem like assassin-y behavior? And on the bright side of things, that was a sentiment that Mimori wholeheartedly was in favor for. Being a hero and doing good things for people... well, it was the sort of thing a police officer should strive for. Justice. And it was what Mimori certainly strove for. She stepped forward, shaking her head in response to the fiery girl's question.

"You don't need to worry," she said, in a calm, level voice, "We're no assassins. We awakened in the nearby field, I'm certain none of us here are planning on attempting to harm you."

She wanted to diffuse the situation quickly. And... perhaps she was unarmed, but... after learning someone was being attacked by assassins, well... Mimori felt a desire to pledge her assistance.

Truly, she did.

Momma Didn't Raise No Fools

Hearing the current circumstances, the reincarnated boy decided to add in his own two cents since the situation wasn't quite as bad as he had initially thought. "We're not even fit to be called petty thieves let alone assassins." A somewhat self-derogatory voice from the bushes sounded as the bluenette elf continued to mutter from his face-down position, looking particularly eccentric at the moment. Rising to his feet slowly and gingerly, Velte began to check himself over and dust debris off his person while looking about warily. "I'm not sure about the others but I don't even know where I am let alone how this place works... Really, you're probably the one person here that has any sort of power and authority here from what I can see."
