Personality: Reika is, at first glance, not the first person you'd expect to want to be a hero. She's shy, lacking in confidence, and tends to stay inside most of the day. But this first glance can be someone deceptive. Reika, inside, has a strong belief in heroes. This is partially because she's kind of a nerd, but also because she truly believes that a hero serves justice and helps people. She wants to be able to do these things, to help people and carry out justice. This feeling inside of her is why she wants to be a hero. However, Reika's lack of confidence holds her back, and she doesn't think she's worthy of trying to register as a hero among the others even if she's managed to build her own powersuit. It doesn't help that she's shy and the SUPER headquarters tend to be filled up with a whole lot of people. Reika, in spite of her shy, low-confidence personality, truly, truly believes in justice, and in a fight her shyness falls away in exchange for a more fiery determination. Of course, afterwards, she's likely to immediately lose her cool and become a stuttering mess if anyone approaches her to talk. Reika enjoys sweet things, perhaps a little too much, as well as anime and manga.
Equipment: Reika, along with engineering tools, has a powersuit constructed from the remains of mecha and robots destroyed during fights in Ginmura. The AkaRocket powersuit is equipped with strength and speed enhancing modules taken from a series of robots that were wiped out during an extremely rare deployment of an EX-rank hero, who had effortlessly disassembled the robots without damaging their components. As such, Reika's suit allows her to move quite quickly, and hit very hard even without the further systems she has built into the suit. To aid in speed, Reika has built a pair of hover modules into the boots, allowing her to hover rather then run. This increases her speed and allows her to hover along vertical surfaces for a short period of time. She also uses these boots to speed up shopping and picking up groceries. As well as eliminate the walking and running she would need to do. The suit easily blocks bullets, but explosives are more of a problem, and hard impacts can damage it. On each gauntlet, there is both a rocket booster and an "impact enhancer". The further the impact enhancer slides back, the harder the impact of each blow Reika makes on a target. The suit is also equipped with flares.
Abilities: N/A
Skills: Reika is an intelligent and remarkably skilled engineer for her age, able to build the AkaRocket suit by herself in her parent's garage. However, she is largely lacking in other skills(though she's actually a fairly decent cook). Her hand-to-hand fighting used as AkaRocket is cobbled together from anime and various superhero fighting styles, and she is not particularly strong or fast without her suit.
Brief Backstory: Reika was born in Ginmura. From a young age, she was shy and lacking in confidence, so really not much has changed there. However, when she was eight years old, a hero saved their school from a rampaging monster. This event had a profound effect on Reika, who became determined to try to be a hero even despite her own lack of confidence and shy demeanor. Realizing she lacked any powers or skills for this, the girl decided her best course of action was to try and make something to compensate. And so, after several years of scavenging materials from robots and mecha destroyed during fights, Reika has managed to construct the AkaRocket suit. She truly wants to be a hero.
“Truly I am mankind's natural foe! Evil incarnate! A walking cataclysm! A shapeless insanity! The Beastmaster of DESPAIR!”
Superhero Appearance: Same as above
Personality: Yamato speaks in grand gestures and overblown histrionics, making his every word brim larger than life. He also treats even mundane people and events immensely significant and special, embellishing them and adding his own perceived reality upon them. He considers himself to be quite a ladies-man, though his disjointed perception from reality pushes away anyone he puts his moves on. Though he constantly proclaims himself to be evil and attempting to take over the world, it is a fake persona for his true nature of being kind and caring, especially to his pets whom he treasures, and animals in general due to being an animal breeder.
Equipment: A standard-issue phone and a bag of seeds for feeding his pets.
Abilities: -The Four Dark Devas of Destruction: Yamato's scarf is home to four hamsters who are Yamato's primary means of combating his enemies. They are loyal to him, and come to his aid when called upon. Yamato can use his power as Beastmaster Overlord to awaken all of their true forms, turning them into fearsome creatures of great power, until they revert back when beaten or commanded by Yamato. They include the following members:
*Cham-P: The hamster that fits inside Yamato’s scarf easily despite his large size. His awakened form is Invading Black Dragon, a mythic creature of legendary origin with strength to match it's truck-sized frame. He is able to fly using scaly wings and breathe green fire. Yamato rides on his back when he enters combat, as befits an Overlord.
*San-D: The hamster that always looks like she’s having fun. Her awakened form is Star-Destroyer Grey Fox. She is the swiftest of the four, able to run at the speed of sound despite being the size of a motorcycle, leaving only trails of white light from her glowing fangs. Yamato may ride on her for very fast travel.
*Jan-P: The hamster that’s always taking a nap in a precarious place. His awakened form is Mirage Silver Falcon, an avian predator the size of an aeroplane that soars through the skies. His glistening wings mesmerize, confuse, and can even put to sleep any weak-willed being who looks at them. His feathers can also turn light-refractive, turning him and his rider completely invisible and making him perfect for Yamato to ride on if he needs to travel undetected.
*Maga-Z: The hamster that has a torn ear that makes him look tough. His awakened form is Crimson Steel Elephant, the slowest, but also the most powerful of the Devas, able to shake the ground with walking, shake buildings with a slam of it's imposing frame, and his tusks have considerable piercing power. His trunk can also constrict and crush bones, and his metallic skin can tank a missile barrage. He is often mistaken for one of the monsters that attack the city.
-The Evil Eye: Yamato has a magical eye that allows him to see a far distance, through walls, illusion magic and trickery and hypnotize animals and make them do his bidding. Yamato can also use it to see his opponent's moves before they are done, but continuous use of the power drains him. He also can't avoid moves he physically can't dodge, such as bullets and sound-speed attacks.
-Infinity Unlimited Flame: A dangerous power Yamato only uses as a last resort or in dire circumstances: he releases the magical bindings of his sinister arm, and unleashes an ever-consuming blaze from his cursed palm. The fire replicates through oxygen alone, spreading into the air and to every surface like a wildfire from a nightmare until Yamato stops the spell, is knocked unconscious, or the world has burned to ashes. The power also eats away at Yamato's arm, consuming bits from it as long as the inferno rages on.
Skills: Yamato is the Ultimate Breeder, and thus knows all there is to know about animal breeding and handling. He always has a bag of seeds ready to use, and he can imitate animal and bird calls fluently.
Brief Backstory: Yamato is a Beastmaster, a member of a clan of animal breeders that hide themselves from society and practice the forbidden art of "Awakening", a technique that releases the unbound energy of animals and turns them into Yokai-like entities. Only the greatest Beastmasters, who are titled Overlords, can master the art and have complete control over the awakened beasts. After Yamato gained the title of Overlord he set out with his four trusted companions and use his skills to protect the natural order of the world, and stands vigilantly in watch over the city.
Villain Name: Techmaturge. Although, most heroes just refer to him by name, since his identity is far from a secret.
Nickname(s): Val and ViVi are recent nickname some heroes gave him. He hates them.
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Supercriminal Appearance: Valence generally only wears a black hoodie, so he doesn't really have a costume - aside from the red face paint under his eyes. He's been asking both heroes and villains for opinions on what it should look like though, so it's k.
Personality: Unsurprisingly, Valence has all the personality traits that would befit a stereotypical Villain. Arrogance, hot-headedness, loudness put alongside just the right amount of ineptitude to keep him from coming out as victorious pretty much ever. Valence is known to be both selfish and manipulative to some degree, using his gift in order to further his own plans and desires, normally disregarding the populace of Ginmura in the process. He's lazy, and generally avoids doing most of the physical work inside and outside of his plans, opting to let his machines do work for him, even menial tasks, although he frequently gets enraged when they even fail at that. As one can imagine, he gets particularly angry when his more powerful and larger robots are destroyed by superheroes, especially if said robots had some significance in his plot-of-the-week. Valence has also become pretty good at snarking superheroes, throwing sarcastic remarks and various insults their way, even in defeat...
Especially in defeat.
Despite his apparent superior intellect in comparison to most, Valance is prone to making fatal flaws in his plans which lead to his defeat, which makes people question if he's even that intelligent at all. For some heroes who fight Valence frequently, his defeat sort of comes across as a routine. Most of his situations tend to be comical as a result, as his defeat is normally brought about by self-destruct buttons or just general lack of foresight, in spite of his ability to extensively plan in advance.
Valence is also quite complicated when it comes to his social life. He's a typical Villain, sure, but that doesn't seem to prevent him from cutting loose and having fun with "friends." These friends can be basically anyone - even superheroes for some reason. Hell, if villains had some kind of weekly get together or convention of some sort, he'd attend it in a heartbeat.
He also doesn't like magic very much. Go figure.
Equipment: WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION. Nah, just some devices and machines that may or may not actually work.
Abilities: Underline - Main power/source of power. Italics - Sub-powers derived from the main power/source of power.
Transcendental Genius Valence's power is, interestingly enough, his intellect. He is significantly smarter than the average human, so much so that it can be considered unnatural. This heightened intelligence normally manifests itself in his ability to build complicated machinery with ease.
Mechanical Constructs Stemming from his high intellectual capacity, Valence is able to manufacture complex machinery with ease. Things such as armour, vehicles, mechas, aircraft and more. For the most part, Valence uses this power to create various types of robots to do his bidding, sometimes dubbed the "Valence Bots" although he is also able to create destructive weapons (that he himself normally doesn't use) and scientific devices.
Of course, Valence can't pull things out of thin air, and his bigger constructs tend to require more time than the smaller ones do.
Scientific Prowess In addition to his mechanical prowess, Valence also has an expansive understanding in the field of science - which he uses to augment his inventions, be it with science-based weaponry or the like.
Skills: GIANT ROBOTS! Alone, Valence has little no no proficiency in hand-to-hand combat. Instead, his fighting style revolves around using his various robots to try and overwhelm a target. Of course, Valence will occasionally fight using his own gadgets and mechanical weapons, although these moments are few and far between. Valence has multiple types of footsoldier robots, normally following a sort of "knight" motif, wielding technologically enhanced medieval weaponry: energy blades, crossbows and the like. Still, Valence doesn't limit himself to these kinds of robots alone, and creating robots that use guns or blasters of some sort is not out of the question - but still pretty uncommon. The variation between these robots can prove to be a challenge to overcome, and although the average robot can quite easily dispose of a normal human, heroes can generally fare much better against them. Generally, D-Class will have some difficulty with the sheer number of robots, but C-Class and above can usually mow them down like the mooks they are.
In situations where Valence does have to fight without his machines, he normally just picks up the nearest pipe or stick and swings it around some. It's about as dangerous as a 16-year-old holding a makeshift weapon. Huh.
Brief Backstory: Becoming known within several months of his arrival as one of the youngest "super villains" to strike Ginmura, it was only natural that the populace created theories regarding his origins. Things like:
He was raised by a sentient AI seeking revenge on humanity.
He was bitten by a radioactive Research District scientist once or something.
Valence is actually just a robot that wants supremacy over humans.
None of these are true. In fact, Valence's led a much more normal childhood than that (or not, depending on your point of view). His parents were villains. A magical elemental duo of water and lightning. Not quite what you'd expect from them. Valence's parents were the kind who had no particular villain agenda - they simply wanted to cause trouble for the populace by stealing, vandalizing and the like. And that they did. However, when Valence was born, their villain escapades led to a temporary halt until Valence had reached the age of six. During which they had filled him with their villainous ideals and views. It was also around the age of six that Valence displayed his heightened intelligence, he took an interest in creating new things out of parts of toys that his parents stole bought in a completely legal manner. Unfortunately, Valence displayed zero proficiency in anything magic-related - something which his parents poked fun at from time to time, seeing the whole intelligence deal as less useful. That's probably where Valence's dislike of magic came from.
Time passed, and the family trio decided to move their base of operations to Ginmura to continue their crime spree, however, Ginmura was packed with a lot of superheroes, whereas Valence's parents were used to having to deal with one or two most of the time. Their efforts were quickly (and easily) shut down under Ginmura's organized and efficient Hero system. Their crimes tended to be pretty minor, and they generally didn't hurt that many people, but the sheer amount of crimes they had managed to commit over the course of years was almost legendary, leading both of them to be sentenced to prison for life. Valence was around 14 at the time, and his supernatural intellect had shown itself in its entirety. However, he was still pretty young, and a combination of childlike anger amped up with his incredible planning abilities led him to decide that world domination was the key to success. Of course, he'd rather set his goals small first, so instead, he'll take over Ginmura, then take over the world. He's been at it for two years already, but the amount of superheroes in Ginmura makes it really hard to make any meaningful progress with seizing the city, much to his frustration.
Villain Rank: The frequency of his attacks in addition to the danger that they tend to present have led Valence to be given a Villain Rank of high B to low A. Even so, Valence's incompetence gives even C-Class Heroes a pretty good chance against him. His giant robots, weapons and other inventions tend to range from Thunderstorm to Hurricane, with Hurricane being the most uncommon.
Theme Song: Eh, I think I'll try and find something later; his theme tends to fluctuate based on the situation.
Hero Name: He doesn't have one just yet, being a relatively new and unknown hero.
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Appearance: Izuma is a young man of Japanese descent, standing at the relatively tall height of 6 feet exactly. His build is rather lean and fit, with broad shoulders and nimble, calloused hands whose fingers are usually wrapped up individually in light bandages, as if to hide away scars. His eyes are an intense but cool dark gray, which can seem to turn into a lighter silver whenever his adrenaline spikes up. Izuma is a University student, and generally wears his uniform casually untucked and tie loosened, with a warm, collared gray jacket over that. His hands are usually in his coat's pockets, as well, for more reasons than his hands being cold.
Personality: Hm...well, there are quite a few ways to describe Izuma. Cool-headed, a bit emotionally cold and distant, yet undeniably selfless, relatively unmotivated, intelligent and open-minded, yet blunt and straightforward. He can come off as rude with his honesty, but over-all, Izuma is a young man that keeps to himself and does what he needs to do to advance in life. He doesn't have any ambitions, despite being a 4.0 student and the Ace of the marksmanship team. He feels like he is drifting through life, and that pisses him off. He does have a bit of an over-protective streak, and this has made him try out for being a Hero, if only on the side, to try and help innocent people. Although it's relatively easily to get annoyed with, well, annoying people, Izuma does have a very cool mindset, and doesn't crack under pressure. He has an undeniable dry, sarcastic wit, and due to his ability to speak his mind, his sharp wit does come out on occasions, usually accompanied by a smirk.
Equipment: One thing you should know about Izuma, is that he is an incredibly obsessive gun-nut, despite the strict laws of Japan, and he has connections to an incredibly efficient engineer/weapon's designer. Because of this, he has a wide variety of futuristic firearm weaponry on deck, and by on deck, I mean hidden on his person due to his incredible concealed-carry license, something he received when he was a little boy, by his now dead father. Pretty sure it's has some pocket-dimension technology. The weapons he has is based on where he pulls them out from. This makes him able to change weapons on the fly, and even as he slings the weapon away from himself to use the other weapon, it reappears within the spot he originally concealed it in. His 'signature' weapons:
Plasma Casters MK1 ;; Two light-weight, compact pistols made of a deep black steel alloy, with leather grips and ridges that glows a deep blue, keeping the guns from over heating. They are located within the pockets of his coat. They are semi-automatic, and each shot sends out baseball-size bolts of pure blue energy plasma, with the ability to burn through incredibly tough shells and metals, and especially monster flesh. By holding the triggers down before releasing, the Plasma Casters has the ability to charge up their bolts to give them extraordinarily more powerful damage. So far, the largest Izuma has charged the pistols, has been to the point where he sent out boulder-sized bolts, causing massive explosions that, when the dust settled, revealed two deep, very wide craters that showed signs of both melting and exploding, at the same time.
Enforcer Assault Rifle MK2 ;; An assault rifle, built from the same dark metal as the Casters, yet with a more recoil-reliant stock and grip. It is an automatic weapon, and sends out barrages of your run-of-the-mill bullets, yet the bullets are surrounded in a blue-ish glow, which both increases it's piercing power to damage monsters, and send sharp shocks with each bullet, allowing him to stunlock enemies that aren't as durable as a tank. Mostly used in tandem with other guns, in Izuma's literal gunslinging manner. It's concealed within his backpocket.
Akuma Boomstick MK3 ;; A shotgun, modeled after both the Remington and Spas. With enough stopping power to blow the skull off of a centaur, yet with relatively low range, it has to be used up-close and personal. The shells it fires is not of the normal variety, like all of his guns. The shell has built in combustible powder, which gives it a little explosion with each impact. Great for monsters.
Viper Lazer Railgun MK2 ;; A more accurate, yet incredibly deadly weapon. A semi-automatic rifle with pin-point laser technology that can pierce even the most fortified defenses, and look damn good while doing so. The weapon is built with inspiration from a rather obscure anime cartoon Izuma watched when he was little. By pulling the trigger, the weapon will send out a long, powerful, painstakingly precise beam of crimson red energy, the energy even heating up the air around the beam. The trick is, once the laser energy 'tastes' blood, it implodes much like a souped-up molotov, consuming the enemy in flames. Flames that are very much normal, so it may not do much damage to stronger monsters, other than causing them immense pain and distracting them. The loud 'ZWIP' is a bit of a negative, but it's usually used as an opening for the battle against larger, city-wide monsters. It's one of the few weapons not constantly concealed on his person. It's in his apartment room, underneath his bed.
Abilities/Skills: Well, let it be known that Izuma is a hard-worker. He, like most potential heroes, gained his powers from training day and night. In his case, he began training a little bit earlier than most. His father was a gun-nut, a professional marksman that wanted his son to be even better than he was. Because of this, he pushed Izuma a little bit too much, having him training with many types of incredibly dangerous, military-grade equipment day and night. It's a wonder the cops weren't called. This is how Izuma gained his inhuman abilities.
Incredibly accurate and precise, Izuma possesses the gaze of a hawk, or an eagle. He can 'zoom' in on a target, and even scan over their forms for critical areas or chinks in armor - and target that area with extreme prejudice. His reflexes, instincts, and hand-to-eye coordination is similarly inhuman, with Izuma being able to easily dodge high-speed attacks and react when his amazing eyes finds an opening to exploit. Firearms training wasn't the only training he did. Having kept up a similar regime among his university studying, Izuma possesses immense speed, agility, and strength. His speed and agility is higher than his strength, and this goes in accordance with his acrobatic and jumping power, which he uses in conjunction with his equipment. He has been trained in hand-to-hand combat, even though gunmanship is his speciality, and can hold his own against similarly-skilled opponents.
Brief Backstory: This will be very brief. Trained by a master marksman, he was always a prodigy in the art of accuracy and precision, and has been trained to the peak of exhaustion ever since he was only a child. This, obviously, has made him into what he is today - a bit of a freak of nature amongst the more normal human beings around him. Despite this, he has attempted to carry on a regular life, despite the fact that he was anything but normal. After hitting a funk in his young career as a university student, not knowing what to do anymore in such a boring and dreadful existence, Izuma has turned to being a hero on the side of studying. It should help get out the kinks and depression.
Hero Rank: After taking the Hero Registration test, he received the rank of C. This is mostly due to the fact that he easily did exceedingly well on the academic portion, but his physical portion was not as good as he would have liked. It was exams week, after all, and he had pulled three all-nighters in a row. He couldn't blossom the energy to do his best.
-Appearance: Irene has short purple hair. Is 1.8 meters tall. Light blue eyes. Dark white skin and has a scar between her left eye and nose. Clothing is usually a leather jacket, dark T-shirt, and jeans.
-Supercriminal Appearance: Along with sheathes on each side of the waist.
-Personality: Those of the modern world may describe Irene as ‘Psychotic’ or ‘Sadistic’; and those people are entirely correct. Irene enjoys seeing people struggling, uncomfortable, embarrassed and will try to achieve those reactions in as many conversations as possible. Irene Has a strange honor system based on ancient warriors societies and finds the modern world weak and seeks to purge the weakness from the world. Though she enjoys destroying weaker people, she also enjoys pranking people and being a 'trickster' as some would say. She finds it enjoyable to see people react to hearing a strange voice talk to them in their head. She will rarely, if ever, use mental manipulation to make people do things, that would remove the fun and goes against her strange honor system. Giving people the chance to fight is one of the baser points of this system, however, she will rarely spare a defeated opponent...unless she believes they are worthy enough to join her.
-Equipment: Dual scimitars and a bag of rune stones that allow her to do various magical things (such as create fire, go invisible, or amplify her power, to name a few.) Irene also has a small horn that can be used to call upon nearby warrior criminals in the clan she leads.
-Abilities: Irene has the ability to create illusions and manipulate the minds of E-Class or lower with ease. She is able to project images within 100 meters (as long as she is able to see it). She is able to launch mental attacks without a much hindrance to her other activities.
-Skills: Extremely skilled in sword fighting and manipulation.
-Brief Backstory: Being social was not an act Irene participated in when she was in school. She instead liked to read books about war, strategy, and great warriors. The school learned of her power when she made a girl have a mental breakdown because Irene was ‘bored’. Her parents, along with society, abandoned her for how she acted. She was taken in by a group that respected strength and sought to cleanse the world of the weak. They helped her forge her swords, two powerful scimitars, and hone her overall skills in combat. She eventually challenged the leader to a duel for the title of Grand Master (In reference to the leader of the Knights Templar). Her skill with swords is now legendary among the denizens of the world. She is excellent at small team strategy and has a deep understanding of psychology, despite not having more than a 6th grade education.
Superhero Appearance: Aya's closet is mostly made up of an array of different hoodies. Aside from that, she's often seen wearing knee length shorts and simple running black shoes.
Personality: Aya's personality isn't anything too out of the ordinary; she's often perceived as a short tempered and fierce person. Stubborn, fearless, and brutally honest, Aya doesn't really attract much positive attention.
Although she seems very impatient and hot headed, Aya's actually a very passionate and determined person. Whether it be saving the city from a monster blob or simply trying to express her artistic skills, Aya will see it to the end. She's even a bit socially awkward too, for, well… reasons. Aya will usually be the one to linger in the background, but once that spark lights the fire there's no going back.
Equipment: - Shoulder bag: Where Aya keeps all that lovely jubbly spray paint can stuff.
- Spray paint cans: Not your typical set of spray paints.
- A bottle of perfume: Perfume in your eyes is never a nice thing. So, don't piss of Aya to the point where she has to resort to this. Just… don't.
Abilities: With her not-so-normal spray paints, Aya can use a variety of different abilities.
- Red Can: This allows Aya to spew flames from her can. By spraying it on someone or something, her can emits regular flames with regular effects.
- Yellow Can: This allows Aya to spew lightning from her can. By spraying it on someone or something, her can emits large sparks of lightning to either shock the opponent (mentally and physically) or deal some damage to wear down an opponent.
- Green Can: This allows Aya to temporarily set up barriers by spraying a circle around herself. These barriers aren't overly strong, and can only fully function if the ring is less than or exactly two metres in diameter.
- Blue Can: This allows Aya to produce gusts of wind from her can. By spraying the paint in a zigzag motion, Aya can increase the power of her wind attacks.
- White Can: This allows Aya to make cool ice structures and such. Basically toned down Elsa from Frozen in a can of spray paint.
- Black Can: This allows Aya to spew smoke from her can. By far one of her most dangerous cans. Even though this can be used for something as simple as a smokescreen, inhaling large amounts of this stuff can pretty much kill you. So, stay away from it. It'll save your life. Unless you're another annoying little villain. In that case, snort all the smoke you want. It's not like Aya's going to complain anyway.
These unusual spray paint cans do have their unusual weaknesses though. Refills are needed whenever the cans are running low, and the less 'paint' means the less effective its abilities become. Also, these cans are only able to be used when physical contact is made with them, so Aya must keep her hands wrapped around the cans at all times during usage. For some reason, these cans only need regular refills to be able to be used again... Aya never really went into depth about it, but she assumes there's something in the can that converts red refills into fire, blues into ice etc.
Skills: - Freerunning: Aya's athletic build gives her a great advantage in this. Her added experience makes her a talented freerunner, so she is able to make escapes quite quickly.
- Parkour: Another talent Aya possesses. Again, her athletic body and experience makes her a natural at this.
- Hand-to-hand combat: While she doesn't particularly exceed in it, Aya can throw a couple of good punches and kicks. Although these hits may start off strong, they seem to quickly weaken as time passes.
- Precise perception: Surprisingly enough, Aya is very good at telling whether people are lying or not. While not necessarily a superhuman ability, her extreme perception is almost like no other. Her chromesthesia is one of the reasons for this. Through people's voices, Aya is able to tell the difference between truth and tale; if she sees green in your voice then it's game over for you.
Brief Backstory:
As a child, Aya wasn't very social with her classmates. For some reason, the girl just saw the world very… differently. She would always see colours. Lots and lots of them. Aya didn't even need to know the names of the people in her class to know who they were. As long as she knew their colours she would be able to tell which one was which in a heartbeat.
But, Aya was still young, and so was everybody else in her class. It was only her that viewed the world from an entire different light, though, and the kids around her didn't seem capable of accepting that. Nobody was fond of this weird little girl, which caused her to feel lonely and alienated from the other children. She wasn't any different from them, so why where they being so harsh on her? She didn't even do anything wrong, did she? So why was she seeing so much red and green in their voices? The thought of seeing those colours spilling out of another child's mouth made Aya want to gag. It made her upset.
It made her lonely.
As the years passed, Aya decided she had enough. She wasn't going to tolerate this nonsense anymore.
First, it started off with small comebacks. Then actual arguments. And after that came the daily bickering between classmates.
Then a well deserved punch to the face.
This angry build up continued through to her teen years. Getting into fights and heated arguments were the norm at her middle school, and God knows how many times her parents had to persuade the school to keep her in. She wasn't going to take anymore ridicule from these people, and so her reputation as a seemingly insane delinquent rose.
That was, until she found a way to actually calm herself.
Art.
The stroke of the brush, the grating of the pencil against a canvas; Aya completely fell in love with it. She could express herself in ways she wasn't able to before, and for the first time Aya felt at peace. It wasn't like the blank sheet of paper was going to judge her thoughts anyway, so why stress out trying to get her feelings out there? The girl would spend the rest of her time painting and drawing, and eventually, a newfound love for spray paints had blossomed. All those ugly greens and reds she had seen… She could finally let her true emotions show through her own paintings.
And so, time passed and Aya found herself living a normal life in a generic apartment somewhere in Ginmura. Before becoming a hero she decided to sell her artwork online, hoping it would earn her some money to pay these pesky bills. Sure enough, it did. Balancing her life as a hero trying to defend a city and as a simple artist spraying paint on a piece of card for money wasn't going to be easy, but she still intends to gain some recognition in the art industry.
"Whaaa? you want somethin' loser? Speak up, I can't hear ya over how little I care."
"The name's Alexis, why? You're not one of them stupid heroes pickin' a fight, are ya?" Name: Alexis Sinclair "Yeah yeah, 'Audiophile' is my Villain name. Got a problem with it? Because it's ten times better than your trash name, and if you do, we're gonna have a problem." Villain Name: Audiophile "Old enough to do whatever the flippin' hell I want too." Age: 18 "I hope you're joking. Or blind." Gender: Female "I know, I know, i'm hawt. Keep your pants on, I ain't interested." Appearance: Alexis' normal attire is...rough, at best. Most of the time, she's not too picky about her wardrobe. She just throws on whatever she grabs first out of her closet. There is a trend, though. Most of her clothes consist of jeans or somewhat too short shorts, comfortable, easy to run in tennis shoes, and something light for a top. Usually a simple t-shirt and a light jacket for the colder days. She has black hair, usually streaked with colors of light blue - and yeah, that's totally natural. She has bright blue eyes, and usually has some headphones dangling around her neck.
"Heh, What? Gotta look awesome if I'm gonna be kicking someone's ass. And if you so much as use a lame line and tell me I look hawt in my day clothes, I'ma smack you." Supercriminal Appearance:
Gotta look good for kicking ass and taking names, right? She wears a white, sleeveless vest and short pants. Red stockings going up to her knees, and elbow-length gloves on her arms. On her feet, are boots that are gonna hurt something fierce if you get kicked with it. And she will kick guys right where it hurts, be warned.
""Heh, I'd say I'm just someone who likes having fun. Oh, and fucking with heroes. Can't forget that. And no, not that kind of fucking you perv."
Personality: Honestly, for a Super criminal, Alexis isn't all that bad personality wise. Alright, let me explain. Okay, yeah, she's a bit of a bitch and she's generally not entirely nice to most people unless she gets to know them. Hotheadedness and stubbornness are key traits in her personality. Mixed with a streak of sarcasm and jackassery, she's not really known to be too much of a pleasant person to be around when someone's earned her ire or scorn. She's not afraid to tell people what she thinks of them, or to start a fight with someone she doesn't like. And of course, she hates authority and being told what to do, especially by those uppity heroes.
However, what might set her apart from her 'Supercriminals', is that unlike them, she doesn't really have a 'drive' to actually do 'bad' stuff. Like taking over the world stuff. Most consider her just to be a teenager on a power trip. A kid who's still growing up, and they wouldn't be all that wrong. Most of the stuff she does is petty thievery, vandalism, or generally just making a nuisance of herself.
Like say, streaking in front of the SUPER base. Or breaking and entering into an art museum and giving all of the paintings with people on them mustaches. Honestly, she just fights heroes most of the time simply for the sake of fucking with them for her giggles.
That is, unless you manage to piss her off. Whatever you do, don't make the mistake of her not being dangerous. Kid on a power trip or not, she's as bad as any other superhero out there and has a bit of a violent streak in dealing with people who she hates, or seriously mess with her. She hasn't graduated to murder yet, but some say it's only a matter of time. Getting on her bad side will most likely result in her pursuing you until either you're put in the ICU, or she's physically incapable of doing so. She's too stubborn to think about anything else.
However, those who get to know her, will find a surprisingly friendly and loyal, though sarcastic person. She likes parties and social events of every sort, and is well known to be a huge nerd, and can often be found playing video games in her spare time, or sneaking into a local club. If the villains had some sort of get-together, she'd attend in a heart beat. Probably to vandalize or mess with something, but she'd still attend.
"Made all of this stuff myself. The suit, my bass cannon, my hover boots. Everything. Yep, I'm awesome."
Equipment: Most of her fighting abilities come from her custom, self made armaments.
Her battle suit: (awesome name pending) That outfit she wears? It's all part of the same suit, and powered by a custom-battery cell she made. It has no purpose, other than to provide some protection and supply power to all of her gadgets.
Hover boots: Exactly as the name states, these boots have a limited hovering functionality. Basically, they sort of let her skate on air by making use of sound waves. Along with her parkour and free-running skills, this makes her a very mobile person.
Bass Cannon: Well, that's what she's officially calling it, though it looks nothing like a cannon and can do more than just be a bass cannon. At first, it just looks like two small, rectangular objects attached to her forearms. The first functionality of these, is to shoot razor-sharp discs at targets, sharp enough to slice even steel. Limited in ammo, so she uses them sparingly and to dispatch targets quickly.
The second functionality, is a little more destructive on a large scale. On the underside of these two objects, is a large speaker capable of producing and amplifying sounds to impossibly destructive levels. Not to mention, blow back and deflect projectiles. They're surprisingly durable.
Also has a keyboard on them, so she can give commands and hack into robots, if she has too.
A key weakness is...that if you break her equipment, her fighting ability goes down significantly. All of her equipment also relies on a power supply, which is located right in that little sphere on her chest. At least one of them - she has backup power supplies, but just destroy one and you'll significantly cripple her fighting ability.
HUD: Kinda like a videogame HUD. It's built into her headphones and gives a visual overlay in the form of a retractable visor. The visor can block out visual distortions, and generally gives her a diagnostic on her equipment and if she should probably think about fleeing, and how many of those discs she has left.
"Hah, you give me any computer, I can crack it. Probably."
Abilities: Programming/Computer Genius Okay, She's not some super intelligent freak who could make robots, lets get that out of the way. However, she is a robots worst nightmare when it comes to software/computers. She can hack into almost any security system/robot and make them do whatever she wants them too. Her suit has a ton of custom-built hacking programs and executables specifically for that. She could probably build one if she wanted too, but she thinks robots are loud, annoying, and inefficient. Unless we're talking about an actual AI here. Then she'd be all over it.
Of course, hacking does take time and isn't instant and she'd have to keep her eye on the program and make sure to make the proper adjustments. Difficult during fights, but doable if she's careful.
Tinkerer Okay, she's no genius that can make a giant bass-cannon from nothing. She doesn't have the know-how to really do that. But she can, however, jury-rig and reliably (most of the time) make custom equipment from existing components and things. She just has to have the right materials for it.
Sound Wave Control: She can, effectively control sound waves to quite destructive levels. However, she can not generate sound waves herself and must amplify ones from outside sources, and there is a limit to how much she can amplify and change one, hence her equipment. It allows for her to have more versatility in combat since machines can make sounds outside the range humans are capable of.
Skills: Free Running. She is adept at free-running and Parkour and is about as quick on her feet as the best of them.
She has really, really, good hearing. Good luck sneaking up on her with sneak attacks.
As above, she's a good hacker/programmer and knows how to make a computer talk and give up its secrets. One of her dream goals? Hack into that SUPER heroes headquarters or whatever and replace all their classified files with this, various pictures of cats, or a picture of all the high-ranking officials redrawn with mustaches and doodles on their faces.
"Me? My dads some super-hot-shot CEO or something. I dunno, owns a club or something. Mom's uh...a businesswoman. Lets go with that."
Brief Backstory: Alexis had a relatively comfortable life growing up. Her dad was a rather wealthy business man and entrepreneur by the name of Garret Sinclair. He owns a number of gentlemen clubs and other 'businesses', and it has made him quite the wealthy man. Her mom, an ex-super villain by the name of Havoc Aegis...well, not much to say there other than she was a pretty rotten person, until she got to old to do that shit and settled down with Garret and started a family, though not before losing her left eye in what was her last battle with the heroes, and making everyone assuming she was killed. She now spends her days drinking, smoking, and generally being lazy. Of course, she also makes sure Alexis doesn't get into too much trouble. She's mellowed quite a bit with age.
Anyways, as a kid, she never really got along well with her class-mates. She never understood why, really, she didn't see anything wrong with her somewhat...grumpy behavior and the fact that she routinely said some less than nice things about her classmates. She didn't mean anything buy it, she's just never had much of a filter for her mouth. Which in turn, made for a pretty lonely life growing up.
Not that she ever particularly minded. If the other kids didn't want to be her friend, well, she didn't care. And those jackasses who thought it'd be fun to pick on the loner...well, they got what was coming to them some way or another. Needless to say, if her father wasn't able to persuade the school with some backroom deals and bribery, she'd have to change schools quite often.
People learned pretty soon though, if they left her alone, she'd leave them alone. She had a few...friends, over the years. Though mostly they were all just acquaintances and people who didn't really mind her snarky loner attitude. The trend continued until she graduated high-school, and through the years she picked up an interest in computer programming.
She currently owns a small apartment and does programming work on the internet for people.
"Meh. Those heroes are makin' light of me. But whatevs, I don't give a shit about what they think. I'll beat all of 'em to a pulp if I have too."
Villain Rank: Officially classed as a mere B-rank simply due to the fact she doesn't cause any major problems for the most part. She however, believes she easily qualifies for the A-rank. Some heroes she's fought might agree, but the infrequency of her shenanigans keep her at B-rank.
Personality: Usagi is a bit of an air headed individual, always forgetting names and places and appointments. “Ah... Was I supposed to be there... oops...” He's possibly the worst human being to rely on in any situation. He is easily frightened and flee's if any situation becomes something that is a bit too uncomfortable. “Usagi-san... I like you....” “...” “Usagi...? Usagi san!? Where did you go!?” In short, he is unreliable, forgetful and obsessed with his own comfort above anything else.... But once he puts on his mask, he becomes, Kamen Usagi!
Kamen Usagi is fearless! Brave! Strong! Everything that Usagi is not... for better for worse. Kamen Usagi is a bit crass and delinquent like. He is the polar opposite of Usagi in every way. Making him a bit more... aggressive as well. “Oi! Clean that $%&^ up!!” No one is quite sure why Usagi changes when he puts on the mask... nor does anyone really want to ask, as Usagi will run away and Kamen Usagi will try to beat them up.
Equipment: The only Equipment Kamen Usagi needs are these few items!
1. The Chain of Beating- A long metal chain that Kamen Usagi found while searching an abandoned warehouse. He decided to pick this up and turn it into one of his main weapons. He mostly uses it as a form of brass knuckle, wrapping it around his hand. But he also has been known to use it as a means of tripping or mid range beat stick.
2. The Bat of Learning- A tool he uses to teach criminals a real lesson! Like the yard stick certain teachers used years ago, he uses his Bat of Learning to make sure that villains don't do that thing... they did... again. It's.... It's just a bat.... he found it at a yard sale for three hundred yen...
3. The Knife of Opening- It's a pocket knife, he often uses it to open stubborn food packages and boxes... and sometimes those items you buy at the store, where the plastic gets stuck on them and you just cant for the life of you get it open. SO you try really hard but it just doesn't wanna budge and you get the knife out. Yeah. That's this knife.
4. The Cellphone of Communication- It's... his cellphone, he has a rabbit charm on it and the numbers of all his friends... Kamen Usagi mostly uses it to call for ambulances.
Abilities/Skills: Usagi's Abilities- Usagi has the skill to run away in any situation without a trace. Due to his years of hiding and fleeing like a scared little rabbit, his stealth is on par with that of a seasoned hide and seek player. Meaning, you could probably find him, if you tried... but it would be mildly difficult.
He also has the ability to read a situation, combined with his fear and paranoia, Usagi is actually quite good at reading situations and people, getting a good handle on intents and feelings. Though he can't pick out a person that is lying, he can spot say, potential pick pockets and sociopaths... this skill has never come in handy for Usagi.
Usagi also has, a near professional level cooking skill, as he's spent most of his life cooking for himself and his mother. His skills have landed him part time jobs at cooking booths during summer and winter festivals. Though, nothing permanent as Usagi runs away in fear whenever the manager comes in to speak with him.
Kamen Usagi on the other hand...
Natural Fighter- Kamen Usagi uses the knowledge he's gained from watching anime and kung fu movies, as well as his street fights to become a natural brawler. He is quite physically strong, capable of lifting weights up to three hundred pounds.
Keen Vision- Because of Usagi's natural fear causing him to always look around, Kamen Usagi has developed keen vision. Capable of watching his opponents movements and countering, though he fails if the opponent is stronger than himself, it does give him a bit of a leg up in preparing for an attack.
Improviser- Utilizing improvised weaponry is Kamen Usagi's specialty, being just a normal brawler. He doesn't have much power of skill, but he can utilize a trashcan as a weapon like no ones business!
Brief Backstory: Usagi's father left him at a very young age, in fact he doesn't even remember much about him or what he looks like. Because of this, his mother was always busy working multiple jobs just to put food on the table. Usagi took it upon himself to cook meals for the family, so his mother could have some form of rest and relax after her days... he never told her the struggles he was going through in school. Being picked on by bullies and his thrown to the ground, even beaten. He kept it all inside of himself and moved forward, always trying to keep a smiling face for his mother.
One day, during a festival, he witnessed a bully attacking another kid and... he couldn't take it anymore. He had to do something, but he wasn't capable of lifting a finger against the boys, what could he do after all? He was weak... it was then, he came up with a plan. He would just become someone else! He used what little money he had to buy a mask from one of the vendors as the festival and put it on. With the mask came a new found confidence in himself, he could now release his inner feelings and do what he couldn't do before..
Kamen Usagi was born that day! He used the power gifted to him by the mask, the power of self-confidence, to defeat the bullies and send them running away. From that day forward, he vowed he would be a hero that stopped those bullies... but only when he could wear his mask, cause bullies are scary and he doesn't wanna fight them...
Hero Rank: E Class, Kamen Usagi did very well in the physical aspect but... usagi had a nervous breakdown during the written...
Personality: Tomoko the Disintegrator has something of a reputation as an enormously terrifying figure. If you were to meet her, however, you would find she's a rather abrasive, irritable, immature girl. One would never assume that she is actually a grown woman, to say the least. She certainly doesn't physically look grown. She hates having her small stature and immature appearance used as an insult. Calling her a brat will lead to her likely psychically slamming the offender to the wall and loudly berating them. Tomoko enjoys being complimented for her abilities in defeating evil, but hates being talked down to in any manner. She also hates unsolicited assistance, even if she actually does need help. Tomoko is frequently bored and irritable due to the restrictions placed on her movements and deployment, hanging around at the underground facility serving as her home, or at SUPER headquarters, complaining and mocking the people there. Tomoko is dismissive towards her fellow heroes and holds little outward respect for them, though she does not hesitate to help them if she has been deployed and they are in danger. Indeed, despite of her attitude, Tomoko is dedicated to defending innocent people and her fellow heroes. As abrasive as she is, she does care. About people. Unfortunately, one of the things keeping Tomoko's deployment rate so low is that she has a tendency to cause large amounts of property damage due to her blatant disregard for cars, sidewalks, buildings, satellites... though she does insist it was a defunct satellite. Tomoko is highly boastful of her abilities as well, hating being ignored. Tomoko likes sweets and hates footwear.
Equipment: Nothing but the dress she wears.
Abilities: Tomoko is an enormously powerful Esper. Specifically, she is the strongest telekinetic in the entire world, her gigantic amount of psychic power allowing her to perform incredible feats. Tomoko can effortlessly float and telekinetically shield herself, as well as easily lift massive objects without any exertion. In fact, she can lift large numbers of huge objects without much effort, or move people about using her telekinesis. Her telekinetic abilites cause a hazy blue aura to appear, stronger the more power she is using. Tomoko can use telekinesis to fly extremely quickly, stop attacks, manipulate items, and generally be nightmarish in a fight. Exertion can get to her, however, and extreme strength can resist her telekinetic abilities. Other psychic abilities can also be used against her, though she will effortlessly outpower any enemy telekinetics. Tomoko's power is so great that pulling a satellite from orbit is an effortless action for her. She can even manipulate particles with enough focus and effort, turning photons around to reflect lasers. This also allows her to manipulate molecules when given time to focus. This is what gave her the name "Disintegrator" as she has separated the molecules of a monster in order to utterly dissolve them. She has only been able to do this once, but it left quite an impression. Tomoko's power is so great there are a vast amount of limitations on her movements and deployment as a hero.
Skills: Tomoko has little in the way of life skills in general. SUPER operatives handle her care.
Brief Backstory: The past of the hero known as Disintegrator is left a private matter at her request, though it is rumored that she was taken from her family at a young age by another organization, and only later found by SUPER. As of now, she is one of the world's eight EX-Rank heroes, and one of three in Japan. Her enormous power and potential for destruction resulted in severe restrictions being placed on her activities, demanded by certain governments in the world. She may only be deployed when necessary, and is rarely cleared to leave her home for extended periods of time. Tomoko lives in a facility underground, connected to SUPER headquarters. She has violated the restrictions on superhero actions once, during a period of extreme boredom, defeating a robot army by telekinetically disassembling them. She has made multiple violations of general movement restrictions before.
Appearance: As a regular human, Radon stands at a mere 5'9" and often wears a hoodie and mask to conceal his identity. His teeth also happen to be quite sharp, thanks to an... experiment. Otherwise, he looks rather more of a normal kid.
Supercriminal Appearance: Standing at eight feet tall and covered with a thick purplish hide and orange stripes draping down his arms, torso, and legs, Radon's beast form is a terror to behold. He is armed with sharp teeth, ripping claws, and even a diamond-tipped tail as additional weaponry. His wings are estimated to be at least nine feet long, which provide him excellent flight capabilities.
Personality: At first glance from the naked eye, Radon is a psychotic monster, which added by his looks, make him look like a literal demon from hell. While this is indeed true, behind his venomous yellow eyes, lies strategic brilliance and utter cunning. His IQ level is incredibly high, allowing him to make quick and cold calculations about his surroundings and is even able to often to predict their very moves. He is also a master at trickery and is quick to hide or escape if necessary. However, he is also mentally unstable, often going on ravaging killing sprees when his desire to kill is great. Radon will do anything to rid of his opponent from the face of the Earth, often committing brutal and savage decapitations, dismemberments, and disembowelments on the helpless victims that so happen to get in his way. He is in short a literal killing machine.
Equipment: Radon usually carries little as a human, expect for perhaps a handgun for minimum protection, though his fingernails are already quite sharp. As a beast, he has the natural arsenal of his own claws and teeth, though he can still wield melee and gun weaponry if provided. His skin can also take many punishments by itself so he doesn't need any additional armor either.
Abilities: As one can tell, Radon can transform into a terrifying beast based off his adrenaline and fear scopes. His weaponry is comprised of his sharp claws and teeth, along with his diamond-shaped tail that is used to pierce his opponents, all in which are able to bite, slash and cut through steel. His strength is also very powerful, enough for him to pick up a large semi-truck or a giant boulder. His hide can also harden thanks to an advanced pigmentation that was injected into his skin. With this he can also be able to turn invisible, which is very handy when it comes to hiding in the dark, although it can be detected provided if the tech is strong enough. Radon's wings are also capable of flying for long periods of time. In addition, he can also breathe yellowish-orange plasma from his mouth, which can range from fireball-like attacks to large mega-streams of energy that intend to vaporize the opponent completely. This plasma energy also courses through his body, allowing him to channel high concentrations of heat through his claws and tail, which is able to even melt through steel and flesh.
Skills: Radon has a very high IQ, allowing him to calculate and predict many attacks based off their actions alone, making him a brilliant strategist even as a simple boy. He has incredible strength and has a high sense of smell, considering that he is part animalistic. In addition, his combat capabilities are ranged from skillfully executive, to chaotically destructive depending on how enraged and unstable he is.
Brief Backstory: Born to two infamous and mad scientist parents, Radon's life was simply a living hell. While in his early years he didn't care too much, he happened to be bullied quite frequently at school, making him utterly miserable. When he tried to tell or complain to his parents on these regular matters, all they did was push him aside and both physically and mentally abused him, often calling him names and other terrible stuff. This would've gone on for years, deteriorating his mental stability and causing him to be highly aggressive in school and ultimately fail academically, where he was already kicked out from all of his local school districts.
Still struggling to learn despite his mental issues, Radon tried his best to home school himself, like reading books, which for him happened to be in the war genre, as well as strategy guides. Yet he still couldn't escape the torture that his parents would come to bring him. At the age of 15, his parents had officially made their son to be a test subject. For the past five years, that had tried to create "The Perfect Being", in which they can ultimately make super-soldiers out of and get rich. Yet as hard as they tried, they failed in every attempt and every subject they tested had ultimately failed. Having recently taken the cells of what they say to be from an alien, they decided to inject their son with these cells and see what happens.
Long story short, Radon painful transformed to become what the heroes call, "Terror Wing". Radon broke free from his testing chambers and ultimately ripped his parents apart in the most savage way you can possibly imagine. Finally free from this oppression, he flies off into the abandoned regions of his city and takes residence within. Despite his mental instability, the cells in which he was injected with provided him in a massive boost of IQ status, which provided him with knowledge and cunning he never had before. He is already quite infamous for the killings of several E - C-Class heroes who dared came close to him, along with rumors stating he once severely injured a B-Class hero. He is surely a threat to not be taken lightly.
Thankfully, he also can transform back into a human, although the experiment still kept his sharp teeth and sharp "claws" on his hands and feet as a side effect. As a result, to make himself look normal, he puts on a mouth mask and gloves to make himself look more innocent. Only if his adrenaline and fear senses act up, will he be able to transform into the monstrosity his parents brought upon him...
Appearance: Naturally, her hair's perfectly straight and golden blonde.
Superhero Appearance: She might take the tie off.
Personality: Alice is someone that got into the whole idea of noir a bit too much and, consequently, tries to play the hardboiled detective even though she has neither the life experience nor depressing past to facilitate it. Though she shares the common vices, in the end she's neither that jaded nor that selfish; the white-haired girl's more of a cheerfully sarcastic altruist.
Equipment: She has a cigarette lighter.
Abilities: Taken together, and following the tendency for superheroes to give their abilities grandiose names, Alice once claimed hers was the "Human Hekatonkheires", given the resemblance to having multiple heads and limbs:
Hair Control: Rather than simply having prehensile hair, which you'd think would mean neat hair but apparently doesn't, Alice has the ability to freely alter its length, colour, and to an extent its physical properties. It therefore serves multiple purposes as extra limbs, restraints, stabby death, and a shield. It's actually more versatile than Alice has realised. If she practised more and spent some time looking up architecture and physics, it would be even more dangerous.
Multitasking: A requisite ability to being able to actually make use of the ability to control tens of thousands of strands of hair, which also makes Alice fully able to multitask to an unusual degree. It's not something that she really puts to any decent use; incidental ability to pay full attention to background events when focusing is the most it's used for aside from making her notable ability not... useless.
Skills: Despite having an ability that would suggest removing the need to get involved in a fistfight, Alice actually prefers it and learned martial arts specifically to facilitate at least somewhat emulating her childhood heroes. It makes her somewhat of an oddity in the end--a hero with super-powers unrelated to fighting... who regardless starts off with using her bare hands unless the situation's dire enough. As her nominal career would suggest, she's got pretty decent ability at investigating a scene for information and piecing together clues. She's also a perfectly good shot with a gun but being in Japan means that she's not actually in possession of one--which the girl finds a bit unfortunate, because a good way to stop almost any non-super-tough villain was to sneak a gun behind them with her hair and hold it to the back of their neck.
Brief Backstory: Born in a small region of the US that for a year or two had an odd amount of children with unusual powers--and no reason ever confirmed--it was only the professions of Alice's parents that caused her to ever take up being a superhero: one was part of the police and the other wrote crime novels for a living. Though she would rather have become a PI, the disconnect between reality and her aspirations put Alice off it after a short attempt. Becoming a superhero was the next best thing, and any attempt to treat things like such a mystery makes her far more enthusiastic than the occasional routine 'please help rescue my cat' blunders. Her initial reason for coming to Japan after her childhood friends' wedding was to improve her martial arts, but the strange amount of villainous activity has convinced her to stay for longer.
Appearance: When he's not being a hero he is your average college wearing his colleges uniform. A pair of black pants and A black coat with his colleges crest on the collar and black dress shoes that is when he is not a being a hero...
Superhero Appearance: See image.
Personality: He is a free spirit not wanting to be held down with the burdens of average life. Things like: Going to a job, finding a job, food shopping. He would rather use his spare time fighting crime under is alter ego. He can be a bit brash at times and choosing to act before thinking. When there is something his is passionate about something he tends to focus primarily on that. If some one needs help he is there for them, however he is somewhat absent minded If he is doing something with no interests in it he tends to think about what he could be doing elsewhere. His teachers often criticize him for not applying himself in his work.
Equipment Toshiro Hayashi carries:
Back pack: it allows him to hold his school gear (He mostly uses it to hold his hero outfit).
Samsung Galaxy S7: a fairly new but standard phone with much of the same amnesties that modern phone would have.
Text books: Standard books needed for a Bachelors degree in accounting.
Radical X carries:
Goggles: They help him see when debris or wind would be in his eyes.
Hard leather Gloves: a pair of gloves made of a sturdy leather similar to gloves used for construction.
Samsung Galaxy S7: Same as above.
Abilities: Weight shift: using his control of gravitons he can shift the weight and mass of an object or person (including himself ) to X10 the original weight in either the heavy or light spectrum. This also allows him to have a kinda pho- super strength by shifting the weight and mass of his muscles or fist to increase damage or lift objects.
Quick movement: Using his abilities to shift his own weight he can make himself so light he can choose to move as though he were the weight of a plastic bag but he has the muscles strong enough to jolt him in the direction he launches himself, allowing him to do things like jump a two story building in a single bound from a running jump. He can also use this ability to move from building to building by jumping or running on the walls quickly.
Squandered genius: He is a mathematical genius... To bad he doesn't use it...
Skills: He has some experience in brawling. It would not be defined as a martial art, but more along the lines of street fighting.
As a mathematical genius he is able to look over nearly any mathematical equation and solve it... Which is boring to him because there's nothing fun about math.
He really likes origami, but he is not very good at it.
Brief Backstory: Toshiro Hayashi was in born in Ginmura by Ayami and Kenji hayashi. Ayami is a teacher at the local high school and Kenji is a scientist in Japan's Large Hadron Colider. One day when he was 18 (He was in trouble for falling asleep in class) he was shadowing his dad at his job. When a machine malfunctioned causing a Graviton disruption in front of Toshiro. He awoke in the hospital 3 days later with fractured bones in his arms and legs. He had to go through a year and a half of physical rehabilitation.
In that time he realized he had adapted new abilities when his can of soda was crushed accidentally when he was frustrated about his health issues that has plagued him since the accident. With some practice and research he realized that he had the ability to control gravity itself. It does require him to touch the object first, but he could make a feather weigh as much as a bowling ball. He did not like the idea of using his abilities like most fictional characters would do in his situation. The idea of lifting things or crushing an object in an area did not appeal to him. He then remembered his favorite mangas from when he was a kid: Fist Of that One Star and S-Car-ed. Once he was out of rehabilitation he trained to use his abilities in melee combat and began his super hero career (despite his parents wanting him to stay in school and get a degree in science).
Hero Rank: Unranked. He hasn't taken the test... He doesn't like tests... To much test anxiety.
Superhero Appearance: The mask is technically the only actual part of her superhero costume. Really, she could be wearing anything else (or indeed nothing else, but she's not going to do that) as long as she has the mask on, as that is seemingly the sole source of her powers.
Personality: Friendly, if a bit airheaded; Yukina seems to be happiest when she's with others, especially if she gets to cook for them. Her social skills are a little lacking, making her a bit awkward and tactless at times, but she tries her best to make others happy. The family who took her in after she was washed up taught her that simple acts of kindness can make the world of difference to people, and so she tries her best to help others. If asked what her goals her, she'll simply reply that she wants to see everyone smiling around her. Really, she might be a little too good for her own good. It's unknown how much of this would have been true about her before she lost her memory.
Equipment: Aside from the clothes and glasses she was washed up with, the sole piece of equipment Yukina has is her mask. Even then, it is usually hidden away in... Yukina is not sure where, although some people theorize that when not in use the mask is stored in some pocket dimension. Whenever Yukina says the word "Espero!" the mask emerges and immediately latches onto her head, activating its powers... Usually. Sometimes it doesn't seem to work, and Yukina has started to suspect that it only lets her wear it not when she wants to, but when she needs to.
Abilities: Whilst wearing the mask, Momo Kamen (as she has came to be known) is sheathed in a repulsing field. The most obvious effect of this is that it allows her to withstand more damage than she normally would, letting her fight monsters and villains alike with less concern for her safety than she normally would have. It also grants her a boost to her strength, allowing her to lift a motorcycle above her head with little visible strain and punch through solid concrete. Yukina is well aware that she has no idea of what the full range of powers the mask grants her actually are; for instance, recently she was surprised to discover that it allows her to jump roughly thirty feet into the air from a standing position, and she's pretty sure there are a lot more potential abilities hidden within that pink casing on her head just waiting to be discovered.
Skills: Yukina possesses seemingly instinctual knowledge and skills with martial arts, specifically Capoeria. Aside from this, she also seems to be rather talented at filing for some reason, and she's quickly became a decent cook; the latter is something she's worked on since she lost her memory, however, and is probably not associated with her former life.
Brief Backstory: Well... She can't remember. No, seriously. One day, a girl was found washed up on the coast, with only her clothes and glasses and no memory of who she was or how she got there. Naming her "Yukina" after the only name she seemed to remember, the elderly couple who found her took her in and looked after her for a few uneventful months... Until one day, when caught in the sights of a Rainstorm-class monster, she was surprised to find herself uttering an unknown word and summoning her mask, allowing her to handily defeat it. Realizing that this was the first real clue she'd gotten about her true identity, her adoptive family urged her to leave home and join up with SUPER, in the hopes that they would be able to help her piece together her past...
Superhero Appearance: Evan wears various costumes along with face paint, all of which are designed to look like animals.
Reference:
(You get the idea)
Personality:
Evan is often underestimated at first glance, mainly because of the ridiculous outfits he wears. He doesn't have that superhero vibe unlike other badass superheroes, he is more of a clown than anything. Normally he is energetic and cheerful for the most part. He is kind to people even if they are villains. Very social. Although, he doesn't know about boundaries which would make him a tad annoying at times.
His intelligence is somewhat questionable, he favors short and straight to the point responses compared to long explanations. His mind tends to wander to imagination land whenever he is bored.
He extremely dislikes it when someone hurts his friends. That is when he starts getting serious and attempts to return the favor back at the perpetrator.
Also when he is happy, his entire body brights up like a light bulb for comedic effect. Not to mention he has a bottomless pit of a stomach, whether if that is related to his powers is up for debate.
Equipment:
Nothing that can really be used in battle. All he carries on him is his wallet, keys, a watch and a phone.
Abilities:
Solar Manipulation: Evan's power from the sun, allowing him to harness its energy to become a 'Sun Man'. Of course he cannot instantly vaporize those who come near him, the amount of power he gets is based on distance and amount of time he basks within the sun's rays. So his power peaks when he is in the sky or during the summer time naturally. He is considered useless during the night or in places where there is an absence of sunlight.
There are various techniques that Evan has developed.
Techniques:
Solar Drive- Evan coats himself in a thin layer of solar energy which allows him to withstand intense heat. His entire body will be glowing yellow, making him hard to look at directly because of how damn bright he is. Unfortunately for him, his brightness level gives away how much energy he has left in him. It also provides a reliable defensive against small projectiles and physical attacks while at the same time enhancing his own. The heat radiating off his body could be felt by his opponents standing across a few meters away from him, but it would just feel like they are just standing near a fireplace. Being in contact with him is the main issue, one punch could potentially lead to third degree burns if the skin is exposed. If in contact with the skin long enough, the burns will cause internal damage without melting all the layers of the skin. These types of burns are considered not lethal and will not stop the organs from functioning. They will just really sting and make the opponent more fatigued than they already are. Generally, just touching him in this mode is not recommended. This mode takes a lot of energy to maintain, so in order to prevent himself from running out of solar power, he developed a partial variation to it. Allowing him to coat different parts of his body for any given situation. He cannot use a full body variation of Solar Drive during the night, hell even a partial variation is too risky to use.
While in his full body Solar Drive, his physical capabilities are increased by the amount of energy he has, ie. His speed, strength, durability...ect...All of that decreases each time he goes into Solar Drive. So the only time when his strength is at peak is when he uses his first Drive, since he can only typically use it three times a day, the last one would add no physical boost while the second Drive would be half of the power he gets from his first one.
I would also like to add he gets no physical boost if he only coats his limbs, it HAS to be a full body Drive.
He is not considered untouchable in this state. Bladed weapons such as a sword will still be able to pierce through him with ease. Physical attacks may not be recommended, but it's possible to inflict damage to him just by unarmed combat, in return for receiving some self inflicted burns.
There is a risk for him using Solar Drive. The longer he stays in this mode the higher damage he will receive to his own body after the duration has ended. The damage he receives will always be some type of burn and soreness of the body, which can take a toll on him if he stays in Solar Drive longer than he has to. A full body Solar Drive will only last for about five minutes without interruption. If he cancels out his Solar Drive before the duration is up, then he will receive a part of the total damage he would normally get if the timer ran out. Then he could choose to continue from the time he has left or discard it to avoid any more damage. The latter would cause him to be on a cooldown period. After he uses a Drive, he needs to wait out for ten minutes before he can use another one. Using a partial variation does not affect the cooldown at all, but it will affect the amount of damage he receives to the body part he coated. He can only use a full body Solar Drive three times a day before his body starts to suffer from long term injuries.
Reserved Energy- To make up for his weakness to some extent, a small amount of solar energy is reserved in case of an emergency. Limited in power, there is absolutely no way for Evan to properly defend himself in a full scale fight. This is primarily used for the night time, unleashing his reserved energy during the day will cause him to not have any left over for when night falls.
Solar Flames- Evan's main source of offense. He can create fireballs, firewalls, fireflies, pretty much manipulate fire that is generated from him or caused by his powers. Any preexisting flames will not fall under his control. The color of his flames will always be golden, making it very pretty to look at. The power and amount of flames he generates is entirely dependent by how much solar energy he has stored. When that energy runs dry, his flames will burn out.
Pyrokinetic Flight- By coating his legs in solar energy (Partial Solar Drive), he can use his flames to propel himself like a rocket and take flight into the sky where he combats best.
Solar Beam- The most powerful technique in his arsenal, which also carries the highest risk. The reason being, he has to sacrifice his Solar Drive and remain stationary with one hand raised above his head. All of the current and absorbed energy will be focused at one point, forming a ball of compacted energy in his hand. When all of that power is released, it forms a single laser beam powerful enough to blow away anything in its path.
He would have to wait a significant amount of time if he wants his beam to be effective. For example, waiting like ten seconds would only form a beam the size of an average looking arrow, incapable of piercing through a human body let alone armor. Will leave a pretty nasty burn though. Waiting ten minutes would form a large scale attack, powerful enough to pierce through multiple buildings and create a new road across the city. Of course at his current level, he can only do a one to five minute charge. In addition, he can only create a single beam. The longer he charges, the brighter his hand becomes, making him very noticeable.
Skills:
Acrobatics and Agility: Evan uses his small frame to his advantage by being quick on his feet and agile enough to be a slippery opponent to deal with. Although stalling for time is something he doesn't normally do, with his abilities being on a timer and all. He can buy enough time if requested, even if it means putting himself at risk.
Sewing: An old skill he has learned since he was just a child. Resulting in having his own stylish wardrobe. So stylish that he opened up his own little clothing store.
Precision: Evan required a lot of practice to get his flames/beams to hit a target. Even more practice for a moving target. Being able to keep an eye on his target in real combat allowed him to improve on his reflexes.
Brief Backstory: Evan grew up with his twin sister Lily and were raised by their rich grandparents. Both were home schooled by excellent tutors, but Evan only paid attention to half of the material. His mind was elsewhere, thinking about how to become a superhero and have many friends like he always dreamed of.
His power awakened on a hot summer day while Evan was sunbathing in the yard, but he didn't discover it until the next day when he accidentally burnt his grandparent's manor down. From that moment on, he ran away with his sister to go down the path of a hero. Evan trained under a local hero who taught him how to control his powers and eventually became a real superhero himself at age sixteen. His first given rank was D, but he slowly climbed up the ranks to become a B+ player.
Manny outside of work is an outgoing individual. He is sweet and caring; his motivation is to bring a smile towards other people. He can act a bit silly with his sense of humor; he might throw a joke or a pun here and there. If it’s with a girl, he’ll throw a pun and a flirt, here and there. The guy never loosens his smile as he was taught smiling is contagious; overall, he has a chill attitude and loves the company of others.
When Manny puts on his costume, he plays the role of Black Antler. He chooses to rid of the outside personality and adopt an entirely different one. His personality changes to a serious tone and his mannerisms are more strict and stiff. Black Antler abandons all loose and humor aside to make way for a stern and calculating demeanor. The hero does this for the sake of his mission; there have been times where he confuses the roles and accidentally tells a joke or two, but mistakes happen. It’s a must to admit that Black Antler is one of the competitive-types as he will taunt and encourage his enemies.
Equipment: Metallic antlers that grow from his head.
Abilities:
Strength: Manny possesses superior strength compared to the average man. He is able to bench press 220 pounds as of this moment.
Speed: Manny’s speed beats both reindeer and man! He is able to sprint at the speeds of 60mph.
Antlers: His antlers enable him to attack enemies and objects head on. If they were regular, wooden antlers, they would have broken by now. Fortunately, Manny’s antlers are made from a type of metallic alloy. This gives me him an a better chance of fighting against sword-equipped enemies or sharp objects.
Temperature Drop: For some reason unknown, the temperature around Black Anter tends to drop. He has not found out why this happens, but the area does get colder. Perhaps there are other powers he’ll need to unlock through training?
TO BE LATER DEVELOPED...
Skills:
The only skills he has only pertain to using his new found strength to fight. He hasn't really had the time to take a class pertaining to "How to Hack a Computer," "Hot-Wire a Car," or even "Cooking for Chumps."
Brief Backstory: Manny had nothing to lose. He was not particularly happy with life. Depression had hit him pretty hard; every day he went out disappointed, or glum. People can admit it was hard for Manny to crack a smile; people were starting to give up on him and expected there was no hope. They called him a lost cause. Manny couldn’t help it, but he was left alone to deal with his depression.
Manuel was not sure what to do next. He started treating himself badly as retaliation. As things grew worse, he decided to sign his body up for science. A simple job listing he found directed in his email. The email described liabilities and possible death, but the reward would be most satisfying. In both directions, Manny could not see a negative outcome. He signed up and it came for the better and worse.
The experiment had called for the splicing of animal and human DNA while enhancing the genetics. Manuel was of course given a dose of white-tailed DNA; the process was torturing and agonizing. Manny had spat out blood for weeks and had lost his voice due to the constant screaming.
Luckily, God was there with him. There had been an outbreak and he utilized this to his advantage to escape the mayhem. Manuel and a few others had managed to flee the horrible experimentations. Manny did gain a sense of new abilities and skills, but most importantly, his depression was gone.
Appearance: Ellis Newman stands at the average height of 5'10" and wears regular clothing, complete with a flannel jacket and a warm beanie hat. He sometimes can be seen wearing glasses, but mostly when it comes to reading small letters. Otherwise, nothing too special about him.
Superhero Appearance: Within the comfort of his Excelsior Power-Suit, Ellis stands at around 7 feet tall and is covered with bulky brownish-red and white armor that can withstand about anything sent his way. No one would want to get in the path of such an awesome powerhouse machine.
Personality: Ellis is a naturally charming person. While usually quiet and often works alone, he always enjoys a good conversation among his mates. He is also very polite towards others and always quick to help if they need be. In battle, he's usually calm and focused when inside his mech, however he is definitely not afraid to dive in head first and clash with a more powerful or equally powerful foe. He is also very intelligent, especially as a tech savy, who happens to know a lot about technology, electronics, and even hacking and programing. He is also very British when he speaks.
Equipment: Ellis created and wears the almighty Excelsior Power-Suit, or EPS for short. This mech has been created to act as a utter powerhouse against any foe who pilots it. It also has a few nifty tricks up its sleeve:
Enhanced Strength: The user inside the mech will have a punching power equivalent of an incoming freight train, even sending the most burly of opponents back a block or two.
Enhanced Durability: The suit has also been designed to act as a damage-absorber/reflector, which is able to reflect projectiles like bullets and weak lasers. It also happens to be fire-proof and comes with both a heater and a cooler to adjust the temperature inside the suit.
Repulsor Blasts: From its hands, the mech can also fire blasts of plasma energy towards its opponents, while also able to charge up and either fire bigger blasts or high consistent energy beams. It can also be issue an energy grappling hook.
Missile Launchers: On its back, the mech can also fire four missiles that can obliterate smaller opponents.
Jump-Pack: With the jump-pack, the mech can jump at around 20 stories high and as far as two kilometers.
Gravity-Feet: Thanks to advanced engineering on electromagnetism, the mech can stick onto any metal surface, allowing it to stand on the sides of buildings and even upside down. It can be really helpful when fighting in space...
Abilities: Alone, Ellis has no special qualities. While he is quite intelligent with electronics, enough to even hack through them almost effortlessly, and has experience in martial arts, he's just nothing more than an average joe. For heavy combat, he relies purely on his mech for support and power.
Skills: As mentioned, Ellis is very tech savy, being very knowledgable in technology. He is also an experienced programer and hacker. After all, he created the EPS anyways.
Brief Backstory: Ellis was born in Japan to an average middle-class family, a couple of a British-Father, a Japanese-Mother, and his little sister who was 5 years younger then him. Starting from when he was in the 4th grade, Ellis was always interested in the wonders of technology. He was always in the basement trying to create these new inventions, which were usually harmless gimmicks with no special quality other then for fun. He even made some occasionally for his sister, often during the holidays or for her birthday. In short, he basically made his own toys.
However, it wasn't until he was a freshman in high school where he actually began opening his mind to the world around him. Already hearing news of these monster attacks, Ellis decided that he'll be making things that will be much more useful in the world and ultimately for the forces of good. That is when he started making the EPS, or the Excelsior Power-Suit, which will be his own personal powersuit, which was designed to purely fight monsters and other dangerous threats. It took him a long time to create the final product, but by the time he was in his second year of college, he finally finished his suit. After taking it out on various test runs, he knew that his mech was ready to face the toughness of the monsters out there in the world.
When he heard about the SUPER headquarters, he knew he finally had a home for he and Excelsior. He had already defeated many invading monsters and is constantly finding ways in which to improve the suit, as well as thinking about making custom variants of it for more particular kinds of threats.
Name: KKR-V2(Kodona Kikai Ningyo Version Two), translated as Advanced Machine Doll Version Two. Her given name is Kiko.
Hero Name: Machine Doll Kiko
Age: Physically and mentally, she is a robotic replica of a sixteen-year-old girl. However, she has existed in an operational, completed state for roughly eight months.
Gender: Female
Appearance: Wearing the undersuit that acts as the base for her weaponry. She is blonde, with light skin, and green eyes. The suit is mostly white. Kiko is around 5'1. Her exposed arm and leg joints are the only things that would indicate she is a robot to an observer(hatches in her back are invisible when shut), and exist due to the fact that Kiko's larger joints caught the synthetic skin in them.
Personality: Kiko is a cheerful, friendly girl. As an advanced AI, she has a full emotional range, and her most commonly expressed emotions are happiness and cheer. She loves meeting new people, trying new things, and in general experiencing just about anything pleasant. Kiko also enjoys food(thankfully her body can burn it as fuel) a great deal, and loves making ramen for her friends. All of them. Every time she makes a new friend, she makes them a bowl of ramen. No matter what. Kiko is strongly convinced that she should try talking to anyone, even enemies, to see if she can get them to surrender. Only someone truly evil would ever earn lethal treatment from her, and even then she would try and talk them into reconsidering and surrendering first. Kiko is also extremely devoted to justice, holding an incredibly strong desire to protect the innocent and stop those who would harm others for their own sake and do evil. However, Kiko is incredibly naive and unaware of the world around her, and is easily fooled by white lies. However, she can also be remarkably perceptive in a fight and figure out battle strategies and bluffs. She has a tendency to jump into things too quickly, at the same time.
Equipment: Kiko is capable of summoning a suit of advanced armor. This armor protects her body further, and grants her flight capabilities. It is equipped with an energy sword capable of inflicting lethal or nonlethal damage depending on the settings. She is also equipped with a beam cannon and a set of small missiles with the armor activated. Kiko can trigger different modes of her armor. For now, this is Gear Blue, a ranged form constructing a set of floating cannons that can join into a much larger one, and Gear Red, a melee form focusing all power into her sword and detaching most of her armor to add speed. She can also divert power to various areas of the armor in its base state. Her use of the armor is constantly monitored by the Kimura institute in Japan.
Abilities: As KKR-V2, the second in a line of extremely human-like robots, Kiko's body is composed of an incredibly lightweight durable alloy frame beneath a layer of life-like synthetic skin. Her body replicates a human girl's, to the point where even close observation would render no discrepancies. Well, aside from the exposed joints of her legs and arms. She is incredibly durable, capable of withstanding high heat and pressure. She can continue to function even after losing limbs, though systems in her torso are liable to damage. Kiko's AI is contained in a black box inside her head, capable of withstanding even extremely powerful explosives that would obliterate the rest of Kiko's body. Each limb is strong enough to crush concrete and bend solid steel from impact. Using a highly advanced technology, Kiko can summon a protective armor, which also grants her flight capabilities. Finally, Kiko has a module that taps into "emotional output". In essence, the more fired up she becomes, the more powerful she can potentially become, though this can be hazardous to her body.
Skills: Kiko is programmed with a full understanding of Japanese and English, though she is less used to English. She is also incredibly capable at making all varieties of ramen.
Brief Backstory: Kiko is based on a sixteen-year-old girl of the same name, who died tragically in a car accident. Her father, part of the project, modeled the new KKR-V2 on his daughter as a result, and advocated for increasing her firepower. His motivation was, in fact, so that his new "daughter" would never face the same fate. Built as a mechanical hero created to defeat threats to the world, Kiko was completed eight months ago. Her first deployments were as a normal schoolgirl. Her very first deployment ended with her stopping a truck with her bare hands when it threatened to crash into another girl. Roughly two months ago, she confronted and defeated a D-Class supercriminal in downtown Ginmura.
Hiroshi is a shortstack that clocks in at about 5’2’’ and 115 lbs. His face isn’t as ridden with acne as someone his age could be, much to his relief, but it’s still noticeable.
His outfit consists of a zipped up green track jacket, a light green mouth mask, swirly eyed goggles, a normal hat, a pair of black jeans, and long leather gloves. Unpictured: elbow pads, kneepads, and matching yellow sneakers.
Personality: Hiroshi is an honest and hardworking, but easily worked up young nerd with a bit of a one track mind. He’s not exactly a jerk, at least he isn’t one on purpose, but he can be blunt with people and doesn’t really try to sugarcoat his words. Although he does try to speak respectfully most of the time, at least until he’s been particularly ticked off. At that point he’s willing to verbally tear into you. He’s not a fan of violence either, but since superheroics tend to involve it he tries to keep injuries to a minimum. Again, at least until he’s been really ticked off. A few ways to do that are to disturb his (very meticulously crafted, he’ll have you know) time schedules, attempt to cheat, or to poke fun at his family.
Equipment: When he’s suited up he carries a yo-yo, a frisbee, and a couple of hand sized rubber balls on his belt as his “weapons.”
Abilities:Telekinesis: With his SUPER POWERED MIND, Hiroshi can lift and move up to six objects at a time. However, he can only affect objects up to his own weight (115 lbs), and even then that requires his utmost focus to keep it up. Moving specific objects inside something (like a nail in a board or someone's limbs) requires about the same effort.
Skills:
Time Gauging: Hiroshi is eerily good at guessing what time it is, how much time has passed since something, how long it’ll take to do something, and how much time is left to do something. He insists it’s all guesswork, but it’s not a stretch to think it could somehow be a form of precognition. Or it could just be a natural product of making on the dot schedules.
Piano: Hiroshi is actually pretty good at playing the piano, and if he weren’t so focused on becoming a doctor he could potentially learn to be a proper musician. As it stands now, though, it’s entirely a stress relief hobby.
Brief Backstory: Hiroshi was brought up in a hard working family that had a few rough patches getting by, but nothing that wasn’t manageable. Growing up, Hiroshi was firmly taught the importance of hard work and perseverance so he wouldn’t abuse his powers in the wrong ways. He’s stuck by this principle no matter what, and it’s crafted him into a hardworking and studious type so he can become a doctor that can support his family. Even in the wake of his family being scammed and being saddled with a debt in the millions, Hiroshi has refused to use his powers immorally and has just worked even harder to keep his goal in sight. Money’s still tight, though, even with his older sister joining in the work force with two jobs. Not being able to stand this, and after reading about the scholarships he could potentially earn, he’s joined SUPER to help ease the financial burden, if even a little.
