I don't feel like Eyeclopsiel really does anything for her campaign as mayor, nor does she enlist anyone to help. I feel like she just lets her son do what he wants in that regard, he's the one putting up the crudely drawn posters and handing out pin with eyeballs sharpied onto them.
Also, she may still have no idea what her rival's name is. :x
@Kafka Komedy Hmm...I think Angel would politely decline and remain neutral. She's not a big fan of politics, but she will cover the political story so that all of the Underlake would know everything there is to know about the subject and make a well informed decision. XD
Wait, she covers stories? Like, news report type stories?
@Kafka Komedy Yeah she can cover stories too, along with performing. If Mettaton could do a news type thing, why couldn't she? XD
Good point. Do you think she'd cover the death of Mr. Hare? He was a very influental figure and the circumstances surrounding his death are so vague that literally two people in the Underlake know exactly what happened.
Not to embellish the story or anything
Also, she may still have no idea what her rival's name is. :x
Ash's reaction would be priceless "Hey, Eye." "Who are you?" "...Ash. Duh" "I dont know an "Ash"." "...You dont know me? You dont know ME? THE GUY WHO YOURE RUNNING AGAINST??? YOURE TELLING ME YOU DONT EVEN KNOW YOUR POLITICAL RIVALS NAME AND YOU'RE AHEAD OF ME IN THE POLES?!?!" "Yeah" And then Ash burst into flame.
here we are, my little monsters i couldn't help myself. These two are like bread and butter :D
Name: Amarante Niluada
Personality: Amarante is a wolf monster, so she's very violent. She will attack anything intruding upon her 'personal space.' this includes monsters at times. However, she does have a pack personality so if she decides she likes someone, she will attempt to recruit them to her 'pack' as an ally. Bio: Born and trained in a pack of wolf people much like herself, Amarante was always one step ahead of everyone else. As a woman of the tribe, she was expected to stay home and nurse pups while the men when out to fight. Not really into the whole becoming a slave to her pack for the rest of her life, Amarante ran away from home to live on her own. She now travels the caves, with her faithful shadowed familair. Relations: Best friend/parasite: Shadow Skill: Extremely fast in mind and body. Turns people's words against them, known for being an amazing swordfighter. Weapon: Samurai sword Armour: Light armor (this allows for more speed) Fight: large sword slashes in white and occasionally orange and blue. These slashes become faster if you select the 'impress' action. As her respect for you rises, the attacks get faster, they get slower as her respect for you lowers. Act: *Check: Attack: 100 Defense: 100 You might want to run away. *Run Away: Amarante shakes her head. Her respect for you lowers. (respect -10) (If respect is at -100) Amarante shakes her head and allows you to escape. (which allows a battle escape) *Impress: Amarante smirks, raising the level of attack (speed up for Amarante, Respect +50 if all attacks are dodged, Respect -5 each time her attacks manage to land. *Taunt: Amarante stares blankly at you as if she can't believe what you just said. (No attack this turn for Amarante) The second time and beyond: Amarante bares her teeth. "That is quite enough of that." (no effect) Mercy: Basically you have to raise or lower her level of respect for you. it has to hit 100 in either direction before she will spare your life. She will deem you worthy if you are in the positive, or unworthy if you are in the negatives.
Name: Shadow
Personality: He was trained as a guard dog, so approaching him too quickly will result in biting. However, since he does have the personality of a dog, he can be easily swayed with treats. Bio: He found Amarante when she first escaped from her family. From the moment she offered him a bite of her orange, he became her best friend. His barking sounds oddly like a sinister cackle. Relations: Host/master: Amarante Skill: shadow manipulation. Can melt into them and manipulate them into various shapes and forms. Can solidify shadows in order to attack. Can also de-solidify himself in order to dodge up to three attacks, which will be randomly activated by a dice roll. (a one in six chance, i will be using RNG) Weapon: Claws (they are sharp and pointy) Armour: fur coat (its fluffy) Fight: black, paw-shaped projectiles which chase after the soul for a limited amount of time (think of them like the fight with mad dummy). Act: *Check: he ate the description. *Belly Rub: Shadow rolls over and allows your fingers to run through his cold fur, he licks your face when you are through. (attacker's speed is lowered) *Make shadow puppets: Shadow growls and bares his teeth (his attack and defense are raised for two turns) *Bark: Shadow barks back (raises attack for shadow and the attacker)
Mercy: It helps if you have a stick. If you don't, bark twice and then give him a belly rub. He can also be bribed with a hot cat.
@Eviledd1984 Pretty damned soon...though, now that we've had a huge boost in the character population, going to figure out what angle to go for exactly.
*Belly Rub: Shadow rolls over and allows your fingers to run through his cold fur, he licks your face when you are through. (attacker's speed is lowered)
Yaaaaaas~! APPROVED!
Also, updated the first post with all of the characters listed under cast.
@Draconequis I sincerely hope, for Ash's sake, that "100 ATK 100 DEF" is at least a tiny bit of an overstatement if not, hes probably screwed. Hes not the kinda guy to talk things out. But i guess i could see him wasting a turn to posture. Heres hoping he figures out what to do in that case
EDIT: I just realized we all forgot about @Lolita Complex's Character. She's kind of important considering shes the Boss Monster. Assuming Loli is still interested, that is.
Alright, so I put together a few more misfits, just to pad out the cast list a bit more xD
Name: Dukz
Appearance:
Personality: One grumpy old hermit.
Bio: Ol’ Dukz...there was a time when he was at the forefront of Monster Engineering. Many of his designs and inventions were put into use by the people under the lake, improving their lives immensely. In fact, most are still in use to this very day. He was respected by his peers and had some promising plans for potentially opening a path to the surface, to free Monsterkind from their dark prison. Which is why it was all the more shocking when he suddenly disappeared from the public’s eye. He retreated into his lab, leaving only extremely rarely and only for short spurts of time.
Rumors floated around that the death of his daughter had driven the brilliant monster batty. It’s hard to say what happened in the lab...but if the loss of his daughter didn’t snap him, his own granddaughter abandoning him did. Leaving the lab even less than he did before, Dukz truly became a hermit, with his stress aging him tenfold in a matter of weeks. They say that in the dead of night, one can hear mad cackling coming from the old monster’s workshop. Who knows what the once great mind is working on behind locked doors? Could it be salvation from this eternal prison? Or could it be something...more sinister?
Relations: Bek - Granddaughter Kon - Grandson
Skill: Gifted Engineer Genius Inventor Complete Disregard for Personal Safety Great with Numbers
Weapon:
Eight metal slappy arms N.A.U.T.I.L.U.S. Torpedo The Slapper: A metal hand atop a small pole. It’s deceptively heavy.
Armour:
N.A.U.T.I.L.U.S. You have no idea what the letters mean. Honestly? Neither does he.
Fight:
Dukz engages in a two-part fight. The first part involves him safely tucked away inside the N.A.U.T.I.L.U.S. armour. From within there, he’ll either slap the enemy with his tentacles if close enough, or he’ll launch torpedoes at them if appropriate. If the armor is destroyed or malfunctions, Dukz hops out and begins part two of the fight. Which is just him on foot holding the Slapper.
Act:
[Check] - 0 ATK 0 DEF. He’s just a harmless old guy. How hard could he be?
[Listen] - Dukz rants and raves about kids these days.
[Argue] - You question the validity of what Dukz just said. He seems flustered that you doubted him. He’s much slower for three turns.
[Calisthenics] - You and Dukz engage in some light exercise. Be sure to stretch before and after! Dukz spends his next turn resting.
[Tinker] - You bang on the tin can. It seems weaker...somehow? Perform three times in a row to cause N.A.U.T.I.L.U.S. to malfunction.
Mercy:
Either
A.) Destroy the N.A.U.T.I.L.U.S. then spare him until he gets tired…
or
B.) Present Bek’s Letter. A personal letter from granddaughter to grandfather. You probably shouldn’t read it…
That Papyrus fella? Likes blue fables, or so I’ve heard.
Name: Bek
Appearance:
Personality: One mischievous little vixen.
Bio: Granddaughter of the once great Dukz, his behavior after the death of Bek’s mother caused the girl to leave home and stake it out on her own. She dreams of traveling across the entire world but uh...well, being stuck underground kind of puts a damper on that little dream. In order to vent her frustration, Bek drifts around the underground, getting into whatever trouble she can find. After all, what’s freedom if you can’t have a little fun?
Relations: Kon - Brother Dukz - Grandfather (more will be added as relationships formed)
Fight: Bek primarily uses her various bombs for her attacks. The basic bomb detonates in a spray of pellets. The glitter bomb explodes into either orange pellets, cyan pellets, or both. And the BIG BOMB...doesn’t explode. Just don’t let it bowl over you!
[Prank] - You pull a prank on the prankster. She’s NOT happy! ATK shoots up for three turns!
[Ignore] - You pretend that Bek’s not even there. She’s confused? DEF drops way low for a turn!
[Advice] - You ask Bek how to pull a better prank. She’s beaming with pride!
Mercy:
Perform any ACT four times consecutively and she’ll call it quits. Check - Bek is creeped out by your constant staring. Later perv! Prank - Bek is humiliated that you outpranked her. Later jerk! Ignore - Bek is bored and disappointed that you won’t play her game. Later loser! Advice - Bek decides to take you under her wing, fledgling prankster.
Papyrus? Likes to use blue attacks.
Name: Kon
Appearance:
Personality: One particularly unmotivated little prodigy.
Bio: When it comes to this particular family, the two standouts tend to be Dukz, the genius patriarch, and Bek, the rebellious black sheep. Kon...well, he just sort of exists in their shadows. Not that he isn’t extraordinary in his own right. The guy’s absolutely brilliant...but compared to the great Dukz, well, he hasn’t done anything of note. And Bek’s too wild to compete with. But that’s just fine with him. The lower the expectations, the less he actually has to do.
Truth be told, the lad doesn’t even have much interest in following in Dukz footsteps. Sure, he’s a whiz with the work but...well, it just isn’t fun. What he’d much rather do is play music...but somebody’s got to be responsible and carry on the family’s legacy. Which is probably fine, really. He’d probably just get bored of music too. So rather than practice, the lad spends most of his time either working alongside his grandfather, or running his errands across the underground. If he’s not doing that, then he’s probably at the library, researching his next project.
Fight: Kon obviously doesn’t have his heart in the battle. He lazily tosses wrenches from time to time, but he’ll mostly be preoccupied with his work. Hell, he might not even be aiming for anyone in particular...
Act:
[Check] - 15 ATK 10 DEF. He obviously doesn’t want to be here. Just watch out for flying tools. Wrenches hurt...
[Mock] - You make fun of Kon’s accomplishments. He shrugs it off.
[Compliment] - You tell Kon that you admire his music. He seems rather bashful. Kon tosses out a green wrench.
[Impress] - You show/tell Kon something nifty. He acts genuinely interested. No action taken next turn.
Mercy:
Simply spare Kon or run from the battle. He can’t be bothered to pursue a fight he’s not interested in.
Hahaha well, we will see. XD as you run away her attacks lessen, and as you challenge her her attacks get stronger. It is supposed to be a generalization. its more of a 'trickery thing' like a way to make them choose run away the first time. XD (just so she can say something to them about how dissapointed she is XD. (each one of her attacks aren't 100.. its when she's on impress mode, and slashing away she can do up to 100 damage, if one does not dodge properly, understand?) As for defense.. you do one damage each turn. But her health is pretty low, so its not impossible to kill her. (hmmm, i need to decide her health. im thinking 10 or 15 XD. Just because its funny. XD)
Edit: also, she's totally not supposed to kind of be like undyne XD (the second hardest boss fight in the game). You have to actively search for her and whatnot though.

Okay. So its like Marth in SSB. You could KO someone at 80%, if you fully charge and get the tipper. But that doesnt exactly happen often.
Also i absolutely love the idea of all hits doing like 1 DMG but she has no HP.

yes XD that is exactly what i was going for XD (i didn't even think of comparing it to that though XD, i plot on using RNG a lot to decide things for her, how many attacks she will have per round, how much damage she will do, should be entertaining. XD)
and then there's Shadow.
Shadow *sticks out his tongue, pants loudly*
awwww look at the precious little demon spawn puppy.
