Mine wouldn't unless your character has traveled to Labrynna. By all accounts he's an outsider, but he is a regular at the Oasis and often helps with patrols.

Tossing an idea out there - depending upon how long each of us has been at the Oasis, our characters may have gotten to know each other. Relationships may have formed, be it friendship, casual acquaintanceship, drinking buddies, sparring partners, etc. Teaching and/or learning new skills from NPCs or each other maybe.

Looking at character histories and their locations during the war, some of them might even have relationships prior to coming to Oasis. Any thoughts?

The Knight might have known some of the guard characters, but this would have been before his transformation. As it is now, there's no way they would be able to recognize him, and even if he does recognize them somehow--he'd have to have been more than just passingly familiar with them--he can't communicate it. Still, for other characters, this might be an interesting way to get some investment into the RP early on.

Hmm. I planned on Yuri reaching Oasis just a day earlier from the start of the RP, so i dont believe that anything would happen there. The only thing i could think of is maybe Etzo was a frequent customer? After all, i doubt all those ingredients were legal, and Yuris the girl for the job if you want smuggled goods.

For the purposes of making communication a little easier with NPCs, Cricket will have been journeying to, and living in, Oasis since the the Kokiri Forest came under Ganon's control. Interaction might have been fuzzy at first, but the natives and newcomers will have eventually figured out what his deal is.

He's the kind of guy that likes to get to know people in his down time, play music, and learn how those interesting Gerudo women do that twirling fighting style with the pretty, curved swords. If it's mission time, his allies will have found him useful at information gathering, intrusion, scouting, and good, old fashioned, targeted assassination.

If anyone wants to involve or interact before the RP begins proper, please let me know.

Sounds like a good idea to me, though before the Kakariko Massacre, Etzo really had little contact with people then necessary, but seeing as he's been in Oasis for a minute by this point, and his propensity for the bars, I imagine he's at least known to a few of the people who've been there long enough.

This sounds good to me, seeing as he's always looking to try new combonations, so he's more than likely to have bought some rather shady ingredients. Speaking of, I imagine it's going to be interesting to have all the races around Etzo, so many new ingredients.

On a separate note, would you say Yuri's head leaf thingy is more like hair or skin with its sensitivity. For curiosities sake.

I actually posted yesterday to let you guys know that I won't be able to finish on Saturday due to some unexpected stuff I had to take care of, but apparently the Guild ate the post, because I don't see it now...? Anyway, gonna finish her today, just gotta go grab something to eat first.

Come to think of it, I don't think I specified it like you said. But it definitely hasn't been that long, a year at most. One of the first things Ganondorf did after defeating Link was lead the Kakariko Massacre and that was what prompted so many refugees to flee to Gerudo Valley, and everything that happened since the Massacre has more or less been transpiring over the course of a year or so.

@Jester Acharis I know the char isn't done yet, but I see no reason why Nadijah shouldn't have always known what a man is. Ganondorf was himself a Gerudo, supposedly only one that would be born every hundred years or so. And he even ruled the Gerudo as a King before he left for Hyrule.

Ah, yeah, she knows what they are, more like... she hasn't ever actually seen one, so she hasn't really thought of what they are like/mean/why she should care. The Ganondorf thing is a good point, though, I sort of assumed he'd already left by the time she was born, but that's actually not the case, I think. I'll reword it, no prob!

That, and after recently replaying OoT, there's a NPC in Castle Town who says the Gerudo sometimes come to town to look for boyfriends, and they have the carpenters they took hostage, and besides, they're a theif clan, they certianly aren't stealing from each other. Yeah, that was in the history even before I edited. The very next paragraph of the man thing, in fact, when she saw Gerudos bring Hylian men to the fortress 8P We were talking of when she was a child and hadn't yet ventured outside/seen people bring men in. She does know what they are in present day fff.

I just find it a little hard to believe that she's never ever seen him even once, not even in passing, or not even in a picture of some kind.

I just find it a little hard to believe that she's never ever seen him even once, not even in passing, or not even in a picture of some kind.

She likely hadn't seen him up close and personal (since he's a king and she was a young girl), but she mot likely had seen him in passing, yes, as the history now implies. But she hadn't really met him. That was my bad, I probably should have made it more clear that we aren't talking absolutes, just that... she hadn't really properly met men of her own race, then suddenly she sees one of a foreign race up close so it was like "wow wtf" to her. But it's almost 2 AM and I'm kind of trying to get through OOC chatter quick to focus on finishing the cs so I can sleep |D But like said, I can remove that part altogether if you'd like and just focus on her curiousity having been piqued by seeing a foreign race only. That was the main part of her WOW experience anyway, the man thing was just an added bonus.

... Because it's still a WIP? The abilities and equipment don't have descriptions yet either and the history is only partly done (still missing finding the shard etc.) I like to write (or at least plan) the history section before the personality, because for most people, their past influences the way they are today.
