What Brings You To The City:
JD has recently graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and has been searching all over the country for the right internship to take her down the right path. She has wanted to be a journalist since she was a kid and hearing about the death of Peyton Glencross has piqued her journalistic curiosity. Securing a job with Channel 4, she has moved to Justice to investigate.

Life Before You Moved In:
Jessica Dallas Mason was born the second of two on a small farm just outside Minneapolis, Minnesota. Growing up she was always close to her older brother Dominic even though the two shared literally nothing in common. Their father often made the kids help around the farm, which neither particularly minded. It helped instil in them the drive to succeed, determination and the humbleness. Although she often accompanied her father and brother on hunting and hiking trips, JD knew that her calling lay elsewhere. She would often sit and play on her computer, playing games, writing fan fiction and maybe hacking some companies funds for some extra cash (hey those shoes were expensive ok?)

In contrast to her older brother who was the strong silent type, Jess was very much a moto mouth with a sarcastic and blunt wit which often lead her to ending up in serious trouble and Dominic bailing her out. JD had a job at on her school newspaper and eventually realised she enjoyed telling these stories and it wasn’t just for extra credit like first intended. With a new goal in mind, she began to study hard before eventually making her way to the University of Texas At Austin, where she stayed for three years studying journalism with a minor in psychology. She fell in love with a girl and the two were incredibly happy (although their different job idea’s meant a lot of their relationship was long distance.

Upon her graduation, JD felt the pull of journalism even more when she heard about the death of Peyton Glencross. Something just didn’t add up to the wide eyed wannabe reporter, so with what money she had, JD secured herself an internship at Channel 4 and headed off to the sun-kissed city of Justice, California to investigate the tragedy.

Life Since You Moved In:
JD has made very little progress on the case so far and is starting to become frustrated. Her new housemates seem really nice, especially the hot guy from Rose Building but she does miss home and her brother, who is off gallivanting in India somewhere making his movies. Little does JD know, she’s about to hit a major break in the case, a break that will change everything, forever…

What Brings You To The City:
Recently discharged from the army, Cameron returned home to New Mexico where his young wife awaited him. However with no family ties left there for either of them, the two decided to up roots and move to sunny California to see how the other half lived. They moved into the Rose Building because they both thought it would be cool to live in an apartment where a person died.

Life Before You Moved In:
Cameron White was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the youngest of five. The White’s were a well-known and well liked family in their small community, operating a family run restaurant which most people in the area loved. It was early on in his life that Cam developed a love for food (mostly anything sweet, his sweet tooth is massive) and he often spent his nights in the kitchen with his mom watching her cook dinner for the family and then the patrons of their restaurant. The White’s were very much the all American family, white picket fence and golden retriever et all…

Things changed after 9/11 however; like many young men, Cameron began to feel the pull of his country and so opted to enlist in the army straight away as he had only turned 18 two months prior. Thanks to his natural athletic ability, Cam managed to get himself into the Marine Corps and often operated as a sniper. This choice weighed heavily on Cam as too many times during the war, he would have to make a judgment call that a man should never have to make. Dreams of these choices still haunt Cam to this day.

Whilst on his final tour before being discharged, Cameron received word from his long term girlfriend that his family had been killed at their restaurant, a gas leak which eventually ignited thanks to his oldest brothers smoking habit. Crushed by this horrendous loss, Cam barely functions in the Army after that and was thankfully discharged several months later on the grounds of psychological issues. Back in the civilian world, Cameron just about managed to get back the semblance of a life, marrying his girlfriend and reconnecting with old friends. Still, Albuquerque felt empty now. With that in mind, Cam decided that a change was in order. Switching out the deserts of New Mexico for the beaches of California, Cam and his wife headed to Justice, where he got work as a chef in a small, homely restaurant not too dissimilar from the one his family used to own.

Life Since You Moved In:
Cam loves his job as a chef and is finally beginning to find the peace he has so desperately craved. He loves the new apartment and his neighbours are all pretty cool, though they always do seem to be looking at him a lot.

What Brings You To The City: Danica was out in the wilderness when she got the word that something had happened back home and it rocked her worse than any mountain could have. She tried to get back quickly but it took weeks since she was so far out in the middle of no where somewhere in the Himalaya's working on her latest story. She decided it was time to stick on the mainland for a while and moved to Justice - taking a job at the local Newspaper. Even if she couldn't travel much with the job she already had enough under her belt to be able to put out at least enough to keep things rolling without worry.  

Life Before You Moved In: Danica grew up in Oregon, part of a split family. She was the eldest child of her father - who had at least one more that she knows of a few years after she was born. When she was very young she was enrolled in the local Tae Kwon Do school as something to do to channel her already aggressive nature. (Something that came out in many school yard scraps starting when she was preschool.) She seemed to flourish in the environment and after a few local tournaments her Grand Master, a man who had moved from South Korea after the Korean War, saw she had a talent and a tenacity that could be much better channeled into something beyond just brawling with her school mates.  

	Over the next decade she trained every day after school and spent her weekend traveling around the United States for National and International Competitions for the W.T.F. and the U.T.A. She did well and even won a spot on the Junior Olympic team where she took silver in Forms and Bronze in fighting. When she reached the age where she could compete in the adult circuit she earned a spot on the U.S. Nationals team and won Gold for her country. It took her years to earn her rank in TKD; Even spending time in Seoul South Korea at the Kukkiwon training for a summer as part of an exchange program; where she earned her first Dan/Poom. During her travels for tournaments she met many people from all over the world. Spending time with them over long trips and picking up a bit of their languages here and there, mostly cursing and how to ask where the bathroom was, as well as their interests.

	One such interest was Rock Climbing, which she quickly fell in love with. A friend of her, Luis, who was from Colorado introduced her to the sport. This turned out to be a blessing for Danica - After an injury during a tournament that prevented her from performing the aerial displays her spot was known for with proper technique she flipped from a life of TKD to Rock Climbing. After a knee surgery to help repair the damage she put her mind to climb anything and everything she could. She still practices TKD but now it is more of a life style choice than anything. Rock climbing helped get her back into the mix of things while she started to attend college. Though she did well and graduated early the last thing she wanted to do as a journalist major was to sit behind a desk. She wanted to be out in the world. 

	Grabbing her things she started up a blog and began to write down everything she did after college; posting images of her climbs. This got the attention of several travel magazines and they began to buy her stories. Hot Damn! She was getting paid to climb instead of living off the meager ad earnings her site generated. After a year of climbing and writing like this, she decided to up the wow factor and took up Base Jumping. Why climb down the mountain when you can just soar down? Though, after a few near "fuck me I am screwed!" moments on the mountains she finally admitted to herself that she was in fact NOT Wonder Woman and took a few first aide courses as well as wilderness survival ones. She wrote it off as a business expense and just added it to her resume. 

Life Since You Moved In:  Life has been a bit of a downward spiral since she stepped off the mountain. Guilt racks her for not getting home quick enough and the fact there is not a lot of mountains to climb in the city she has taken to parkour and base jumping to fill in her need of a rush. This and a few bar brawls has lead her to be arrested a few times but the paper keeps bailing her out. They figure any press is good press and the fact that their newest writer is getting more followers than ever they are willing to foot the bill as long as the papers keep selling.

History

What Brings You To The City: Alicia was put in charge of operations for her fathers company some time ago and they are now branching out to the west coast. After setting up a division in Seattle she packed her bags and went onto her next assignment - Justice California. She has been there close to a year now and is enjoying the sun and fun. Until something happens she is very content just working here. 

Life Before You Moved In: Life for Alicia was anything but typical growing up. While most little girls were being given Barbie Dolls and Rainbow Brite figures; her father gave her knives, cherry bombs, and combat boots. Granted her mother tried to girl things up, a lot of pink but it didn't do much good. Alicia was the daughter and only child of a man that was a walking stereo type for the Federale back in Mexico. Something he never really lost after coming to the states. As far as she was concerned her father was a god among men and there was no changing her opinion on the matter. 

	Despite protests from Mama, Alicia was tagging along with her father during breaks from school all over the world from the time she could walk and learning the security profession. She recalls hearing her parents bickering one night about how it was too dangerous for her to be going out with him. Her Papi said something along the lines of "Death knows better than to fuck with my Mi'ja" - that was the end of that. Alicia took pride in what her father said, he was a god in her mind and while he was hard and cold to most to her he was just a big teddy bear and her best friend. He was nothing but fluff and cuddles and doted over her every want. 

	Even with all the traveling, Alicia did well in school and had a group of close friends. There were basically an anti-gang squad of their own making. While the idea behind the group was a good one, her methods were perhaps not so Soccer Mom friendly - getting into a lot of fights and things usually ending in a very bloody manner. Alicia would try talking first but some people just do not listen and things would get heated. She ended up spending time in juvi for bashing a guys head in with a lead pipe when a fight broke out after he refused to stop selling drugs on her turf. The manslaughter charges were eventually dropped and her record was stripped clean - She suspects Papi had something to do with that. 

	Once she graduated high school she was ready to join her father full time but for once her father was having none of that. Wanting better for his daughter than he had when he was her age. She ended up at the University of Maryland and fours years of High Born East Coast education later she graduated with honors; the first in her family to even attend college. Yet even with all the education under her belt now and a proud family standing behind her ready to see what she would do with her life she still ended up with her papi working as his right hand. Education be damned, she was not about to sit behind a desk the rest of her life dealing with idiots who couldn't understand that they really shouldn't open the attachment file in the email from Bigger Endowments R US!

	Since then she has been working with her father, helping to upgrade the procedures and computers of the company and bring them into the new age. The company still uses old school tactics but having some younger newer blood in the mix has livened the place up and has garnered even more business. Branches are slowly being open here and there and Alicia is loving it.

Life Since You Moved In: The last year has been nothing but grins and giggles for Alicia. She moved into an old style brown stone, set up another branch for her father and even has made some contacts in town - things are looking better than ever and she cannot wait to see what tomorrow holds - especially since she feels she is holding all the cards.

What Brings You To The City:

Jezebel has lived in Justice for the past few years, having moved there after her parents divorce. 

Life Before You Moved In:
The Wintergerald’s story is quite the tragedy, provided that you think a family of overly indulgent criminals getting their just desserts is a tragedy. Jezebel certainly does. 

The family started off selling munitions to the IRA, during their infamous campaign to create a United Ireland. The money was good, but there was a fortune to be made in trafficking and extortion, both of which looked equally promising to the up-and-coming gangsters. They sold guns, drugs, people, organs, and whatever else they could do to get ahead in the game. 

The UK became their playground, and as they expanded out into the rest of Europe, the Wintergerald’s started raking in the cash like no tomorrow. Having come from humble origins, the Wintergerald family suddenly had a whole lot of money and a want to indulge their darkest desires. 

Fast cars, men, women, exotic fetishes, and expensive foods. They spent cash like crazy, and the Wintergerald money making machine just kept on churning out more and more wealth for them to throw at their new hobbies. 

Until they got sloppy, and the feds caught on. 

The Wintergerald’s Empire collapsed, almost overnight, as the big players ended up behind bars, and their operations got taken over by smaller syndicates.

Years flickered by, and those who evaded capture wallowed in their bitterness, lamenting the lavish lifestyle of days gone by. 

But did they repent for their misdeeds? Not a chance. 

Parading their name around town, and cashing in on their former glory, the Wintergerald’s set themselves up as cocaine dealers. The money wasn’t what it had been, but their lifestyle was still vastly above and beyond that of the average Joe. 

Jezebel was born during the reemergence of the Wintergerald crime family, and has been afforded an extravagant upbringing, full of fancy holidays and expensive clothes.

Her parents got divorced, and Jezebel’s mum won custody. She wanted a fresh start for her and her children, and moved to live with her sister in Justice.

Life Since You Moved In:
Jezebel had a rocky first few years in Justice, but gradually learned to love America. She left education with no real qualifications, and has spent the last few years selling ecstasy to partygoers

Dirty Little Secret: Whilst nowadays Jezebel is generally liked by those around her, she wasn’t always amongst such welcoming cohorts. Before her family could afford to live in the more ritzy areas, Jezebel’s upbringing in London was full of bullying and torment, with the sadistic Jim Gagnon being her most hated antagonist. It wasn’t just verbal torments, it was following her after school and hurling stones at her, or waiting around the street corner with a cricket bat on her way home. 

Gagnon’s world revolved around Jezebel, and chiefly causing her misery. His every waking moment was dedicated to making her life a living hell. In truth, Gagnon had feelings for Jezebel which he didn't know how to express, but Jezebel would never know that. 

Jezebel snapped, and Gagnon’s body wound up in an a back alley, with a blunt trauma blow struck across the back of his head. 

The Red Windmill Cafe overlooked a small stretch of corner stores, coffee shops, and barbers, all of which failed to match the cafe’s quaint and homely feel. It did the best dark chocolate mochas in all of Santa Somabra, and served the most authentic full english breakfast that could be found in the US of A.  At least that’s what some guy, who was infact the owner’s husband, on Resteraunt Reviwer .com claimed. To Nyxvira Bloodbloom, the Red Windmill was a just another place to kill time until she heard back from Edmund Jankovics. 

“Okay, I’ve got one,” Ted West, one of the syndicate’s newest Grey Suits, spoke up “Eldaera Summerwind; fuck, marry, or kill?”

“Who the fuck is Eldaera Summerwind?” Razorhallow, a grey-suited Orc who looked like he could kill a fully grown man with a gentle tap, asked with a slight glower, scrunching up his face.

“Where've you been living, old man?” West laughed with a bit too much enthusiasm, making him look more than a little unhinged “She was Sports Illustrated’s hottest light elf of the year two years in the row!” 

“What the fuck is a Sports Illustrated?” Razorhallow asked in confusion. 

“She’s famous because she has big boobs and someone leaked naked pictures of her on the internet.” Nyxie said with a faint air of disinterest, gazing down at the devastated remains of the full english breakfast which sat in front of her. Most authentic full english breakfast my arse.

“Oh,” said Razorhallow “I dunno? Fuck.” 

“Alright, next up…” Ted West gave a flamboyant little wave of his hand“ Riley Russell; fuck, marry, or kill?” 

“Who the fuck is Riley Russell?” Razorhallow asked.

“She’s famous because she has a big bum and she put a video of herself sucking someone’s dick on the internet.” Nyxvira explained helpfully. 

“Oh,” said Razorhallow. “Marry. I’m an ass-man.” 

“The sex tape thing doesn't put you off?” West asked the Orc, giving him a queer look. 

Razorhallow shrugged “My first wife was in porn ‘un she was lovely.” 

The Orc took a small sip of his coffee, rubbing a dark brown stain off of his lips.

“Alright, my turn,” He grinned “Kaylee Kent; fuck, marry, kill?”

Ted West stared at him blankly. 

“I swear you just made that name up.” 

“Oh, fuck off, grasshopper,” He grumbled.

“Excuse me, miss?” 

Nyxie turned, as the owner slipped into view, with her prissy blonde pigtails bobbing behind her. 

“Has everything been to your satisfaction?” 

Does she talk to all her customers like this, or does she know who I am?

“It was nice,” Nyxie managed a smile “Thank you.” 

With that, the owner retreated back behind the counter.

“I’d fuck her.” West said with a grin, as he watched the woman’s pert behind sway from side to side. 

 “Okay, here’s one you’ll know…” Said Razorhallow, once the woman was out of earshot “Taffy Li; fuck, marry, kill?” 

“She’s the chinky bird in Seven-Dollar Shake, right? The only thing I’d bang that with is a shovel!” West snickered to himself “She’s a right porker! Fucking fat bitch-” 

Both pairs of eyes fell upon the enormous fairy next to them, who was easily three times the weight of Taffy Li. 

“Ehrmm...no offense meant, madam.” The human spluttered awkwardly. 

Nyxie’s eyes narrowed into slits. 

“Why would that offend me?” 

“Oh, I just thought that…” West trailed off. 

A long silence fell over the table, with the faerie looking about ready to bash West’s head in. Then, both Nyxie and Razorhallow burst into an uncontrollable fit of laughter. 

“I do own a mirror, kid!” Nyxie said once she was done laughing, as she struggled to catch her breath “I know I’m no Cara Delevingne.” 

“Oh, speaking of Cara,” Razorhallow chirped up, as he watched Ted West wipe sweat off of his forehead “Fuck, Mary, ki-” 

 BANG! 

The blast of a shotgun ripped through the air, leaving the Red Windmill’s glass windows in pieces on the floor. The two-shot round slammed into Ted West’s chest, blowing his torso into bloody red pulp, and sending him flying off of his chair. He was dead before he hit the floor. 

“Mother fucker!” Razorhallow roared, as he made a grab for his hand-cannon. 

 BANG! 

A second shotgun blast blew off the side of the Orc’s head, painting the restaurant walls with the inside of his skull. 

When the owner tried to run she got gunned down as well.

“Ladies and gentleman! The moment you’ve all been waiting for!”

Nyxie’s frantic gaze flickered away from the corpses of her fallen bodyguards, fixing firmly on the voice which was booming through the cafe’s doorway. 

“In this corner: weighing 175 Pounds, with a record of 17 rapes, 400 assaults, and fuck-knows how many murders, the undisputed, most diabolical villain in the world…” 

The Faerie’s heart fell as she saw a suit-clad figured come striding into the cafe. 

“Concetto Nyctari!” 

The Vampire was flanked by two shotgun wielding vampire goons, and had the decapitated head of Edmund Jankovics clutched loosely in one hand. 

Great job solving all my problems for me, shithead.

Although… 

It was a small, almost unnoticeable detail, but Nyxie could see that Concetto was walking with a slight limp. 

I guess Jankovics wasn’t completely useless. The fact Concetto was still limping meant that his healing factor hadn’t managed to fully fix the wound yet, which left him ever-so-slightly vulnerable. 

“Fancy meeting you here, Nyxie, old gal!” The Vampire grinned “I didn’t know we frequented the same restaurants.” 

“I don’t think I’ll be eating here again.” She said dryly. 

“I don’t think you’ll be eating at all, after this, you chubby cunt,” even with all his giddy showmanship, the acid in Concetto’s voice burned through “the fast food industry might never recover.” 

The Vampire made his way slowly through the Red Windmill, taking the time to savour the moment. He pushed what remained of Razorhallow’s corpse out of its chair, and sat down just to the side of Nyxvira. With his limping leg plainly in her view. 

His two cronies were quick to close the distance between them and their bloodmaster, striding up behind him whilst he took his seat. 

“Little gift for ya.” Concetto grinned, plonking the Vampire Slayer’s head firmly down on the table, so that his dull eyes were staring straight up at her. 

“Did you keep the receipt?” Nyx wondered aloud. 

There was a small twitch at the edge of Concetto’s monstrous grin. 

“Nice joke,” he sneered “just like your organisation.” 

“And your fashion sense.” She shot back. 

“You can’t get out of this with snarky comments, Nyxvira.” Concetto hissed “I’m going to let my men have their fun with you, and then I’m going to slit your fat ,fucking, throat.” 

The Faerie kept her demeanor calm, stopping a single inch of the roaring terror she felt inside her from slipping onto her features. 

“I assumed you’d want in on the fun, Concetto.” She said flatly. 

“You’re not my type, cow.” He leered. 

“Right, sorry. I forgot I don’t have a penis.” 

“How a child like you managed to take over this city is beyond me.” 

“If I was a child, then would you want to fuck me?” 

Concetto let out a guttural snarl like a rabid dog, as he leapt onto his feet and gave the table an almighty shove, sending plates, cutlery, and Edmund’s severed head clattering to the floor.

“YOU. WILL. FEAR ME.” He bellowed, his long fingernails digging into his skin as his fists clenched. 

Nyxvira remained composed whilst she got up from her chair and squared up to the Vampire. 

The Faerie stared down at Concetto, her face a cold, hard mask. 

“You aren’t worthy to lick the dirt from my boots, Vampire. Do what you will. You won’t get my respect, you won’t get my disdain, and you won’t get my fear. You’re no better than the Rats in their holes, and the zombies in their sewers, and nothing you can do to me, or anyone, else will ever change what you are; a frightened, miserable, little casualty.”

Concetto quivered. 

Now. 

Nyxvira brought her foot, and all her immeasurable weight bearing down on the crooked dip of the Vampire’s wounded leg. Not even his healing factor could save him from such a burden. 

Crunch.

 “GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!” 

Concetto screamed, clutching manically at his now twisted leg, his face screwed up in a warped mess of pain. 

His goons darted forwards with the immense speed only vampires could muster, but that didn’t change the fact that they couldn’t reach Nyxvira without gunning down their bloodmaster. 

A sharp shove sent the wailing vampire lord tumbling into his thugs, and gave Nyxie the opportunity to lurch forwards and pry a shotgun free from one of the stunned bodyguard’s hands. 

BOOM!

The Roar of the shotgun was music to the Faerie’s ears, as a thunderous blast of ammunition sent the Vampire who still had a shotgun flying back across the cafe, and tumbling over the counter. 

She didn’t know how many shells the shotgun had, but she knew it wasn’t enough to kill a vampire. 

But I can hurt one.

She aimed the shotgun down at Concetto’s leg. 

BOOM!

Suddenly, the vampires were less concerned with Nyxvira, and more concerned with Concetto as he thrashed about on the floor. 

Nyxie was no sprinter, but she managed to get herself out of the Red Windmill at a decent pace, and was soon off down the street. She’d just slipped into a back alley when her phone started ringing. 

It was Narcissa.

“Milady, I know something is going on. You’ve been having me do reconnaissance on major Nyctari businesses for almost a week now. An explanation might help me know what it is you want me to find.” 

“We’re going to war.” Nyxie huffed, more than a little out-of-breath “Meet me at the Imperius and I’ll explain everything. Now get off the bloody line and let me call a car.”

History

What Brings You To The City: Never being one to stay in the one city for long, Lana has found her way to California looking to find more contacts for fencing her stolen goods within the Spanish and Chinese Gangs that she has contacts with over in the East Coast. She has been looking for a place to set up camp for a while that she can always come back to when shit goes south and Justice looks to be that exact kind of city that could be just that for her.

Life Before You Moved In: Lana was born in Saint Petersburg in Russia to a very well off, noble standing family. Her mother killed herself not long after having Lana. Lana is the youngest of 9 children that the poor woman had had over her 28 years of life. Lana has 8 older brothers that she does not get along with as they made her childhood hell, treating her just like one of the boys and causing her various injuries and harm over the years. Her father is very strict, stern and cold and has nothing but ambition and drive for all of his children. He was 33 when Lana was born and despite being young, he acted like he was an elder man that had the entire weight of the world on his shoulders. He expected the utmost perfection from his children and anything less was worthy of punishment.

Throughout her childhood, Lana was forced into many lessons that she did not enjoy and so she never excelled in any of these. The only lessons that stuck with her that she took any pleasure in were her violin lessons, acrobatics and gymnastics and her fitness sessions. Two of her most hated lessons were in Show Jumping and Horse Riding. Her father was adamant to push her so hard in these due to how petite that she was. She became a champion show jumper by the time she was 10 and after 2 years of rigorous training and fighting to keep the title, Lana had enough and ran away from home at the age of 13.

She stole enough money from her father to at least make it to Moscow. She knew that even though it was a highly populated area, it would be harder to find her there. She soon found out how hard it was to live on the streets and almost died before Olga found her. Olga was an elderly woman that was the mother to one of the criminal undergrounds leaders. This was how Lana got her start in the crime world. She was trained on how to pick pockets, how to handle knives, how to handle herself when she doesn’t have or loses her weapon and how to deal with security systems and how best to break and enter into places. Honestly, it is a lot of things that she never imagined herself doing and yet she has found that she loves it all.

Further to these studies, she discovered that she was very good at acting and has grown into a very capable scam artist. Her underworld connections allowed her to get counterfeit paperwork created and it has helped her and her bosses to rake in the money. Plus, pretending to be someone else when she is out and about in the world makes it even less likely that her father will be able to find her easily. It’s a win/win situation really. 

Time moves forward and Lana is tasked with going to America to help set up connections and establish bases with a few others. As her paperwork is entirely counterfeit, Lana is living in America illegally and if anyone finds out and reports her, she could be deported – if they can catch her. In her time in America, Lana has worked with both Spanish and Chinese mafia groups. Her interactions with these groups has allowed her to become semi-fluent in the languages just enough to be able to trade and make agreements with the people within the establishments.

She has lived in almost every state and city that you can imagine as she never settles in one place for very long.

Life Since You Moved In: Finding the place very quaint, Lana has no qualms with the building itself or her room but she would much prefer to not have to share a flat with someone. She prefers her own space and is not comfortable having another person living under the same roof as her. Because of this she has locks on absolutely everything of hers and has various hiding holes throughout her apartment that she set up whilst her roommate was not present. Her room is probably more secure than the White House.

History

What Brings You To The City: After being dishonourably discharged from the Marine Corps, Lorna never being one to do nothing, found a job working for Machete Security Services with an old friend, Alicia Gonzalez. Alicia offered Lorna a place to stay in Justice, CA to let her get away from her family whom Lorna feels she has severely disappointed.

Life Before You Moved In: Lorna was an overly active and easily distracted child. She grew up in Charleston, South Carolina with her parents and her brother, who was three years older than she was. Her father, Duncan, was of Scottish descent but had been born and bred in SC and his whole family had been military so it wasn’t a surprise that he turned out to be a US Marine. Her mother, Nina, was originally from Kazan in Russia but she and her father met in a bar when she came to America to study Chemistry. It was a “love at first sight” story according to her father and a “chased me until I gave in” story according to her mother. Lorna used to laugh at them when they’d argue over what kind of love story they had. It was one of her favourite stories about them.

Lorna and her brother, Alec, had the typical big brother/little sister relationship. They fought, they loved, they hated, they cuddled; you know the one. Everything was great at home, apart from their dad being gone so much for work but he was working for them, so it was okay. That was until one day when Nina died suddenly at home. It was an aneurysm in her brain. There was nothing that anyone could have done to prevent it unfortunately. Lorna was only nine years old. Her father, Duncan, was already the sole bread winner and couldn’t afford to just quit his job.

Instead of them moving homes and schools, Lorna’s father decided to hire a live-in nanny for them. The nanny was called Helen and she was nice enough but a little lazy in the upbringing side of things. Lorna’s dad was unaware of the situation but Lorna’s academic standards dropped drastically and she refused to pay attention in class. The school was more forgiving than they might have been on others simply because she had lost her mother and her father was in the military and away from home. They knew that Helen was classed as their guardian and made her aware of the situation and even sent letters home for Lorna’s dad to read when he got home but he somehow never got them. This went on for almost two years.

Just when things seemed to be going poorly for Lorna, her father was medically discharged from the US Marines when she was due to be finishing Middle School. Her father never did share the reason why he was discharged, just that he wasn’t dying and that should be a good enough answer. As curious as she was, she knew better than to push the boundaries with her father and left well enough alone. 

It was after his discharge that he noticed just how badly that Lorna was doing in school compared to her brother who was a straight A student. He took it upon himself to drive more discipline into Lorna’s life, hoping that it would help to focus her attentions. It was fortunate that he found out how much she was struggling. Of course, when her father was discharged this meant that Helen was no longer required to deal with the upbringing of the children but her father did not dismiss her. This annoyed Lorna but she knew better than to question.

Her father enrolled her in Kendo classes and started to take a much more hands on role in the lives of his children. Lorna loved her Kendo classes and started doing a lot of extra-curricular clubs to keep herself active and fit. This greatly helped Lorna and she started to excel in her classes throughout the rest of her education. When it came to the time for her to think of colleges, she looked to her brother who had decided to learn Aeronautical Engineering before joining the military like their father. He knew that she wasn’t one for school learning and that her good grades through High School were only for their father’s sake. He told her to do what she really wanted to do.

Over the years since her father’s discharge she had grown much closer with him and she realised that what she wanted to do was make her father proud. It was then that she decided to join the US Marines. Her father didn’t say much when she told him her plans, he just gave her a curt and silent nod.  She was seventeen years old when she enlisted.

The initial twelve-week training for her was going to be on Parris Island in Beaufort, SC which worked well for Lorna as it meant she could visit her family on her downtime. She worked hard and fast to make sure she was accepted and she excelled in the twelve-week recruit training. She was accepted into the US Marines and worked her way up the ranks as best as she could. She had no time for distractions so romances were very low on her list of priorities. She preferred to focus on her work, training and her newfound interest of parkour that she discovered two years into her military career.

Despite her hot-headed nature, Lorna had a pretty clean record in her military career. She was given a warning when she was 21 for being involved in a bar fight but that was only because it then came to light that she was trying to break the bar fight up. She even got a broken shot glass stabbed into her left arm for her troubles.

It wasn’t until she had just been promoted to Gunnery Sergeant in the Corps two months prior that her record would become tarnished. One of her superior officers, a Master Gunnery Sergeant had called her to his office with the promise of talks about advancement plans for her career. Well the only advancements made were his hands on her thigh and then subsequently her fist into his face. Her hot-headed nature had taken over at this point because she was accustomed to this behaviour out in bars and she had rarely let anyone into her life in that capacity for more than a few months at a time. Her first reaction was always to hit first, ask later when a guy grabbed her on nights out.

She immediately regretted just punching her superior but she knew it was too late to apologise. She had broken his nose and that was going to be hard for him to explain to his wife. He had her court martialled for her insubordination which, considering the circumstances, could have been much worse. She was placed into confinement and was to await her trial. She hated that she would be disappointing her dad but he was aware of the situation and told her that she hadn’t been hard enough on her superior and that he still needed a swift kick in the rear.

After being dishonourably discharged, Lorna’s father asked her to leave the family home and find herself another calling in life. He did not disown her but Lorna took it this way as she lost her temper and left her family home in a fit of rage. After a few months of wandering from place to place, Lorna ran into her old friend Alicia again and was given an opportunity to move on and provide for herself again.

Life Since You Moved In: Lorna misses her family dearly but she understands now why her father asked her to move out. She is feeling more competent in her life and is very happy living and working with Alicia, her sister from another mister.

History

What Brings You To The City: Dj has come to Justice to start over with a new life. He wanted to get away from the home and the business he helped his wife build before he vanished. She bought him out and now he is figuring he has enough to go on for a little bit.  

Life Before You Moved In: Dj grew up in South Carolina, the youngest son to a farmer and housewife. Life was tight money wise and when he was young he lacked drive. Being the youngest he got away with a lot more than his siblings did and ended up getting into a lot of trouble. He was late to graduate high school and arrested several times for minor drug possession (Pot) and bar fights. It wasn't until he was 19 that he met the local Marine Recruiter who set him on a path for a better life. He buckled down with the ever seeing eye of the Marines hovering over his shoulder and finally graduated high school when he was 20 years old.

The day after graduation he was off to Parris Island and a new life. The Marines seemed to be exactly what Dj needed to thrive and find direction; completely turning his life around. By the time he was 22 he had served multiple tours in the Middle East and jumped ranks quickly. Profession wise things were going great but the more men under his command or that stood by his side that he lost the more closed off he became. Refusing to date, even though his mom kept pestering him to find a good girl to settle down with and have a family. 

While over seas he became friends with a man named Marc that was about to go on leave. Marc seeing how stressed out Dj was suggested that he come with him to visit an old friend back in the states. Seeing as he just wanted to get away from the conflict over seas he took Marc up on the offer and was introduced to the woman that would become his wife - Adelaide Grimmaldi. The two clicked and ended up getting married a year later. But War is hell and after an IED explosion while on another tour his wife was informed that he died. Thing was that he had been taken hostage. Years passed before he was actually rescued during an OP. 

When he returned to his wife, after being gone 5 years, they were never able to patch things up. She had moved on with her life and seeing a dead man walking nearly caused her to break. They parted ways as best as they could and he holds no animosity towards her really but it still hurt since thoughts of her was what kept him going during his time as a prisoner. After the divorce he decided it was time to retire and start a new life.

Life Since You Moved In: Dj moved in and started hitting the bottle and anything else that got in his way. A bar brawl got the attention of some local no so friendlies and before he knew it he was using the skills he used to use to defend the country against it. It's a pay check, fuck loyalty.

What Brings You To The City: 

When Cam, her husband, arrived back from war, they both agreed they wanted a fresh start. With nothing really keeping them in New Mexico, the two put their fingers on a map of the states, and picked sunny California. It was perfect, they loved people-watching in the new state, and enjoyed the different culture and history. Lyndsay was hoping that the new start would help Cameron to heal a little more from the horrors of war, and would finally begin to feel ready to start their own little family.

Life Before You Moved In:

Lyndsay was born in Lewisville, Texas. Her mother died to complications shortly after childbirth, and left Lyndsay, an only child, to be taken care of by her newly widowed father. He coped well for the first decade of her life, but once his daughter began looking more and more like his dead wife, he began to go downhill. With his spiralling depression, he was deemed unfit of caring for his young daughter, and at the age of thirteen, Lyndsay was sent to live with her maternal grandmother in New Mexico, the only other living relative she had. 

She thrived there. Had good friends, good grades, and eventually an amazing boyfriend. At the age of seventten, she received word that her father had finally hit his breaking point, and driven himself and his car off of a bridge, dying upon the heavy impact of the water.She was devastated, at first, but with the support of her friends and Cameron, she got through it. 

She desperately tried to talk Cameron out of joining the Army, but once his mind was set, she knew she just had to support him. She waited patiently, but when devastation shook him, when his family died in a freak accident, and she had to be the one to tell him, it almost broke her. She was secretly relieved when he was discharged, selfishly wanting him home and safe with her, where she could try to help him heal.

The two married in the perfect, small wedding, and began building their lives together. Shortly before they decided to move to Justice, her grandmother finally succumbed to long term illness, and died peacefully in her sleep. Leaving Lyndsay with no family left in New Mexico, the move was the perfect, fresh start. 

Life Since You Moved In: 

Lydsay is loving her new life in California, the people are different from back home, and the weather is beautiful. She's just about got her and Cam's apartment the way she likes it, and is enjoying teaching the odd class at a local dance centre. She's a little unsettled living in the new apartment, due to it's history, but she knows Cam thought it was cool, so she agreed.The neighbours always seem to have something on the tip of their tongue they won't say, but as she doesn't bother about other's opinions, she doesn't pay much attention to it. She's still hoping to start a family sometime soon, but isn't sure if Cam is quite ready, even with their new start.

History

What Brings You To The City: Mali originally came to Boston for college. She went to the University of Massachusetts Boston because she didn’t want to go to Amherst but still wanted to go to a University in-state. In-state because it was a hell of a lot cheaper than going out of state and she would still be able to get away from home. Over time she came to really like Boston and found a good deal on an apartment.

Life Before You Moved In: All of Mali’s grandparents are from Thailand, even though they aren’t all ethnically Thai (that would be Tai-Kadai). They generally moved to the West Coast of the US sometime before the  end of World War II to before the Cold War could really get started. Her parents ended up meeting in the Air Force, which at the same time was convenient and a major hassle. When they left the military, they got married and moved to Wrentham. Mali was an only child for quite a bit of time, but got a younger sister named Kanda when she was 13.

As a child, Mali was really sweet, perhaps a bit too sweet. She would do almost anything anyone asked of her, and it led to getting stepped on a lot by her peers. It wouldn’t be uncommon for her to come home looking fine, but then retreat to her room and bawl her eyes out, coming out for dinner with hastily cleaned, puffy red eyes. When asked about it, she would say it’s nothing and keep eating.

By time she had gotten in high school things changed. While most teenagers had a rebellious phase of some kind, Mali developed a criminal streak, stealing, breaking into houses, vandalism and even a few burglaries. At home she was irritable and in public she would fly off the handle for even minor slights. What actually ended up stopping her from going even further down the criminal road was therapy surprisingly enough. She had built up a lot of repressed emotions built up over her childhood and violence had become her way of expressing that old anger. A couple of years in therapy enabled her to better handle her emotions and focus on more important things.

Mali was naturally gifted in academics, so it wasn’t too difficult for her to salvage her high school academic career in time to apply to Universities. Around this time, Mali decided it was finally time to tell her parents about her sexuality and after weeks of fretting and planning, she made the big revelation over dinner the day before she moved out to University. Turns out they had known for awhile now. She’d done a bad job of hiding it in the first place. So with a fresh slate and a clearish conscience, she left the suburbs to go into the unknown of University.

Life Since You Moved In: Double Majoring is hard. Like, really hard. So is living alone. Like holy shit there’s a lot you gotta figure out yourself. And doing both at the same time doesn’t help. So much writing. Sooooo much writing. But Mali did it, on time too. It’s something she’s really proud of even though her degrees haven’t actually helped her much with finding a job, but that’s alright, because she found something else she loved while in college.

After gaining her Freshman 15, Mali became aware that she would have to take better care of herself. At first she tried running and sports, and while they were alright, she quickly bored of them. It just happened while she was looking through fitness videos on Youtube that she came across female bodybuilding. The women were so strong and confident. Mali instantly knew she wanted to be like that. It was obviously a contentious idea, but she had her mind set on it, so dammit she was going to make it happen. Getting into bodybuilding was a lot harder than she initially thought. Women don’t really become big naturally; you had to work at it quite a bit, not just in the gym, but also in the kitchen, eating a lot of specifically designed diets that ended up turning into bland shake things that you had to become accustomed to not tasting. And even then, female bodybuilding is not a very high paying job, but she’s managed to eek out a living so far.

On a surface level, Cecily appears to be incredibly smart, but also a bit of a downer. She gets extremely excited when talking about minor things in Chemistry and other sciences, as well as when talking about who is going to be playing Spiderman for what seems like its fifteenth reboot. Below this level, however, Cecily’s social awkwardness is revealed, as while she is critical, her sharpness is ultimately a product of her caring and striving after a singular purpose. She is fixated with the idea of figuring out what is true, rather than what is right or wrong. She doesn’t care about morality—she cares about finding the actual series of events and ensuring that they are brought to life.

History

What Brings You To The City:
Essentially, Cecily came to Justice for work. As mentioned in the next section, her parents instilled in her a complex that relied upon the need to find truth in order to deliver justice in the world. The name seemed to be oddly fitting, and being in California, Cecily had fantasies of driving to Hollywood and seeing her favorite actors. The job offered to her in Justice appeared to be perfect for her, and since she moved there, she’s found that the unique vibe of the city appeals to her greatly. However, she does dream of potentially moving on to LA and working the LA beat instead. 

Life Before You Moved In:
Cecily was born in Seattle, Washington to two high powered lawyers. They were in town for a case, and she spent her entire life following them around the country, watching as they attempted to bring people to justice (or rather, to make a profit!) In order to justify their shady tactics and deals to their daughter, they told Cecily that the most important thing was the preserve the truth and ensure it was revealed. This principle quickly engrained itself into her skull, pushing her towards becoming a forensic technician. 

Due to her heavy amount of traveling, she constantly went from culture to culture, and noticed that science and math were the only things that changed the same. It didn’t matter if she was in Washington or Florida – an atom was an atom and two equaled two. The consistency of it gave her stability in her almost nomadic lifestyle, and because of her parents’ prestige and friends, she was accepted at Carnegie Mellon to study Chemistry. She quickly added a minor in Biology as the credits worked out and it would easily allow her to use her skills towards finding out the truth in crimes. Upon graduation, she missed the West Coast dearly, and was quite wistful for some sunshine. The town of Justice, California—with its quite iconic name—appeared to be perfect. Local law enforcement needed a new forensic technician, and with her credentials, she easily won the position. 

Beyond her career, at Carnegie Mellon, she graduated with honors but also served as the president of the Fandom Club. This club would meet up about once a month in order to discuss various comic books and movies and novels. She gained some minor leadership skills from this, but mostly, it just helped her get discounted passes to Comic Con. She met a few good friends there, but they’ve largely gone out of contact with her since she moved to California.

Life Since You Moved In:
Working as a forensic technician requires her to constantly be on call, and for a while after moving, the work got to her. She ended up seeing a psychiatrist due to the depressing nature of the work, but after about two years in therapy, she’s able to stand on her own. She tries to get herself to work out every now and then, but most of the time, she’d rather use her free time reading comic books or catching up on television reruns. 

While she does have a few friends, most of them are from work. Bonnie is the name of her best friend, and the two of them tend to spend a lot of time together – Bonnie works part time as a forensic artist, essentially trying to sketch faces of victims. Her parents are indifferent to her work, as while it does go along with the values they instilled in her as a child, forensic technicians ended up making it harder for them to get their clients off with short sentences, causing them to not have the fondest opinion of them. They get together on major holidays, but beyond that, Cecily hardly sees them. 

Through her work, Cecily received training on how to operate a pistol and some basic self defense classes. Even though she is just a lab technician, she was able to receive the training at a discounted rate, and being a woman in a city, she gladly signed up for it. 

All in all, her job has caused her to become a bit disillusioned with the world. She does love to read about heroes, but she has begun to believe that they only exist in comic books, after seeing all of the crime and death. It’s partially why she clings to novels and movies so much—to get some sort of optimism in her life.

Personality: Caesar is a frightening man, the likes of which should only be allowed around polite folk in dire emergencies. He does have a soft side, or more accurately, a less hard side - he is loyal, protective, and actually a good, decent man. His "Boondock Santos" mentality drives him to "destroy that which is evil, so that which is good may flourish". Another bit; he has a daughter. Caesar simultaneously is overprotective and fully confident in her ability to kick much ass and take many names. 

El Jefe is obsessively driven to complete any task of worth to which he sets himself, particularly if it involves tequila or gratuitous violence. He is the confident alpha-male who strolls through life, scarred and tattooed, accumulating horrifying stories of bloodshed and turmoil while carving more and more notches into his proverbial bedpost. This may explain why he is attracted to twisted women.

History


What Brings You To The City:
Caesar’s company, Machete Security Solutions, is in the process of expanding farther into California markets. A bit more grassroots than his usual national or international business practices, but the fact remains that he cannot maintain optimal information networking, nor provide adequate cover for operations (legitimate or illegitimate) without multiple contracts and holdings in multiple locations worldwide. The stable income for the company is a welcome addition, as well. 

His daughter, Alicia, made initial contact, owing to her (optionally) less abrasive social skills. She has done excellent work, setting up shop for the past year as he remained in their last holding in Seattle. Caesar followed six months after, procured temporary housing, and is considering the move the proper venue for a well earned, long term sabbatical. And make life interesting for his daughter. 

Hoping to keep a relatively low profile, he did not arrive in force, appearing to most as a more mature version of himself from decades past. 

Life Before You Moved In:
Much of Caesar's history has been redacted, owing to the classified nature of his work. What is known about him, in fact and unconfirmed rumor, can be summed up thusly:

Ceasar Hannibal Gonzalez began his career as an officer of the Policia Judicial Federal. He racked up a hell of a reputation, ascending the ranks quickly because of his brutal but effective methodology in dealing with people deemed untouchable or above the law. Eventually, he became a Commandant, training many under him to work as an intimidating, result producing unit. 

This continued for quite some time, until he was approached by a cartel. Caesar refused to be bribed off like so many other Federale Agents and Commanders. Instead, he went to war. (Insert blood, blood, more blood, carnage, betrayal, drugs, money, yet more blood, betrayal, lots of explosions, and multiple limb removal, etc.) 

Disgusted by the whole situation, Caesar retired from the Mexican Federal Police. In his opinion, it was too corrupted by the drug cartels to be useful to its people anymore, a hypocritical organization feeding upon itself. Instead, he emigrated to the United States to work with the DEA (and occasionally FBI/CIA), taking on jobs they deemed too dangerous to send in one of their own, or to have plausible deniability of their involvement. These people, though assholes in their own right, seemed to actually be interested in doing harm to the cartels. And it sated his desire for violence. He remained a part-time government asset, based out of San Antonio, Texas. 

In this time, he married a Senorita Maria Santiago. They had a baby girl, Alicia. Very shortly thereafter, he liquidated his holdings and founded Machete Security Solutions, a private security firm made up of former military, law enforcement, retired Federal agents, and the like. He even trained a cadre of his own men from scratch, including his little Alicia, to act as his go-to people. They took contracts in many global hotspots, took jobs with corporate security, bodyguarding, and the like, including some unofficial and grey market contracts with various government agencies. 

Caesar spread his badassery worldfuckingwide. 

He moved his family and his business away from the desert and into the foothills of Appalachia; Chattanooga, TN. The proper infrastructure was in place, land was relatively cheap, not too close and not too far away from first-strike targets if the shit really hit the fan. He put his girl into college, despite much bitching from her end. Business ran well, clandestine and above board. Life Since You Moved In:
Since moving in, Caesar has admittedly looked into the professional assets in play in Justice, CA. This is mostly as a hobby than a true pursuance. He trusts his daughter’s experience and judgment, no matter what he may let on. No, it is more accurate to say that he wishes to keep a physical presence near new acquisitions and keep abreast of the latest changes to his company and the industry. Alicia is the future of Machete Security Solutions. Unless an active operation is in play, or some old-school violence is necessary, Caesar is content to allow her, and her associate, Lorna, to handle day-to-day activities of the company. His biggest responsibility is approving financial allotments. 

As he is technically on sabbatical, Caesar spends most of his time figuring out how to best get into trouble next. Much of that trouble revolves around meddling in Alicia’s life, whether she is aware of it or not. And drinking. And fighting. And generally enjoying what Justice, California has to offer.

History

What Brings You To The City: After his partner's death, he needed to leave Baton Rouge. He wasn't going to leave the country. Fuck that. But he needed far away, and a place that was hot. He did his research, and Cali fit the bill perfectly. The Retro feel of the hotel fit him more than fine. His precinct allowed it and bam, here he was. 

Life Before You Moved In: Joseph never met his father. His mom was knocked up when she was 15 years old, and needless to say took up drinking pretty quickly. Whether it was before or after he was born, he never got a clear answer. His Aunt was a bit older than his mom, and both women took turns raising him. They moved to Baton Rouge, LA when he was 5. By the time he was 15, he was known as a delinquent with a mean streak, prone to fighting before and after school, if he even attended. 

Oddly enough, he never got into the whole drug scene. Sure he sold some weed and coke here and there, but he never tried it himself. He wasn't about to end up like his mom. Jospeh prefers toothpicks in his mouth instead of cigarettes. He started drinking hard liquor when he was 17, but always had a handle on it. He made sure with that shit. Before long he knew he wasn't fit for college, even if his mom could afford it, which was impossible. 

So he decided to join the police force. It only needed a highschool diploma and a few months of training. But he decided to make detective, to the surprise of himself and others, actually excelling at it. Seems he had a mind to catch criminals, seeing as he was one every now and again. He made detective by 23, and stayed with the same partner until he was 27. His partner died under mysterious circumstances, and he asked to be transferred due to grief.  

Life Since You Moved In: Jospeh hasn't been here very long. Only a few weeks, and for the most part he's spent it scoping out the town layout instead of hanging out at the apartment. He often gets back late at night, big feet stomping up the stairs before he makes it to his room. But now he thinks it's time to settle in a bit, meet the neighbors.

As the young maid ran into the alleyway to be confronted by the Ghoul, her brother clutching her skirts, she suddenly screamed in terror. An explosion of fire wreathed the alleyway in flame, and the maid uncovered her eyes to see the ghoul scorched and dead. Behind its smoldering remains was a dashing young man with his palm out, in darkly colored robes she would think befit a noble. In truth they were his standard Dalaran robes, and they had seen better days. So had the young man. 

Nathoric grimaced from the heat, and wiped the dirt and sweat from his brow with the back of his arm. "Abominations" he breathed in disgust, and pointed towards the door at their left. "Get inside, quickly!" he ordered her. She didn't need to be asked twice, even lifting her younger brother up and lugging him inside. As they passed him, he could see more clearly towards the mouth of the alley, and the ghouls streaming across the town, ravaging the last remnants of the footmen. Just my luck. I left the cooking pot and fell into the fire. I'll never make to Andorhall at this rate. Still, there was something about this town that tugged at his mage sight. Something elusive... If he lived he'd investigate further.

He began preparing his most devastating spells as he moved forward toward the fray, ready to burst out of the alley with fire and frost and arcane magic. In truth he wasn't that powerful of a mage, even if his magical repertoire and power had increased significantly from surviving through the destruction of the Capital city and its outer lying villages. When he had traveled earlier, he'd only met small packs of Ghouls either licking their wounds or in the midst of combat with ragged humans. The force he saw streaming past him was a wave of enemies unlike any he'd yet seen. Still, he had survived so far. 

The screams of the dying was still mingled with the yells of combat, though they were now much much quieter. Was only one man still alive? No, two men. A younger man and an older, more boisterous fellow. Not about to ask questions, he stepped out into the wider streets. Arcane first, he ordered himself. Purple tendrils of energy arced out of his fingers and struck ghoul after ghoul, knocking down and damaging more than killing them, though 5 lay dead to his satisfaction. Dammit, not enough. He quickly slammed his palms together in a clap, yelling out an arcane word of power in unison. Another explosion of fire rolled over the damaged Ghouls in a wave, and he didn't stick around to fight the rest of the horde, making his way over to the two men and the... quite attractive woman. Where had she come from? He sensed something about her he could not quite put his finger on. 

"Well met." he said, and realized just how tired he was from his magic and travels when even speaking out of combat made him want to fall over and catch his breath. "Is there a position we can defend ourselves in or is this it?"

What Brings You To The City: Lyle ended up in Justice for a couple of reasons. His first and most important reason is that there would be more job opportunities here than back home, and well hopefully the danger levels would be a bit better off than he had had back at home. He wanted a new place to start afresh in his career and to take one more course to complete his training as a lawyer. Since back at home he was seen as a stupid rookie and easy to take advantage of, he thought a new start in this city would make him seem not so bad if he just came out of nowhere. Another reason for that is he might've made a few bad connections back home with some groups of miscreants that he kinda got scared by. Of course all of that is true but it's not the only reason he travelled here.

He also travelled here to escape the clutches of his sister. His sister had had an obsession with him since they were young kids, always teasing and belittling him. She knew everything about him, always being stuck to his side through his life, an annoying twin is the facade she had, but Lyle knew she was up to something else. She wanted him for her own, she was obsessed with him and he hated it. So the best option was to flee the state, get as far away as possible, get to this big bustling city where he could live out his life uninterrupted.

Life Before You Moved In: Lyle was born in Oregon, to a single mother, his father nowhere to be seen. He was born with his twin into their struggling household, their mother working two jobs to keep their income steady and the two of them safe. To this day Lyle has no idea what her jobs were but he knows they weren't desireable. He was put into a rough elementary, he got a small group of friends, all was well. He began to show an interest in technology and was seen as a very good writer by the time he entered high school. He did well in most classes, but only really did well in Computing, Music and English, even then barely scraping marks in Music, but marks were marks to him and he wished to get more education than his mother. Luckily his mother had started to give him money so he could buy some DVDs for his growing movie collection.

During highschool however, his friends started to get interested in getting more money, his group of friends slowly turning into a group of hooligans that were doing some crooked jobs to earn some cash. They dealt in drugs and beating up people, Lyle didn't approve of either of these but, beggars can't be choosers. He accepted the group's fate and instead started to study law as hard as he could. This began when he was 15, hoping to be of use to his friends if the need for a more legal intervention ever came up. By the age of 17 it became his passion, Law that was, being interested in any local cases and court hearings. Of course his sister didn't approve of his friends or his interests, always making fun of him and stealing his books on Law, so he had to start hiding them in his room where she couldn't find them.

He always ended up fighting his sister to even get out of the house, she just wanted him to be in the house with her and their mother, who ironically was hardly there. By the age of 18 he watched her destroy his laptop just cos he got accepted into University and she didn't. He tried to avoid her since then, moving away from her and his mom and started going to university. During university he made friends, had a few relationships that didn't really go anywhere. He was seen as a good lawyer, but never seen as a very morally grounded lawyer. 

He was 26 when he had decided his sister's rampage had gone on long enough. He had all the education he thought he needed and one day he bid all his friends goodbye, most of them only hanging around with him for his skills of lying to the cops and getting people out of trouble. He hadn't talked to his mom in 8 years, his sister still lived with her, but he'd never heard anything of his mother, so he refrained from bidding her farewell.

Life Since You Moved In: Since he moved in Lyle has made his two years of living there of getting his life back on track. He's finally got the places to buy movies and manga secured and already got his collection built up again. He's bought himself a bike for simple transport whenever a client refuses to meet him in his apartment. He's been able to get himself a few clients, being able to earn some money here and there for small cases clients need him for, nothing huge and victorious but it's a living. 

He's started to enhance his knowledge on the gangs around the city, getting to know some of their whereabouts in case he ends up getting a client that involves them when he has to try and get them out of shit. So life's been getting better for him as he struggles to find work, refusing to work for any big agency but seeming like a pretty reliable lawyer.

History

What Brings You To The City: Riley moved to Justice California to be closer to her other bandmates as well as being closer to her producer's home. And mainly just to settle down somewhere and a place that she can actually call home, and enjoy settling in and making some new friends and to be as far away from her family as possible.

Life Before You Moved In: Riley was born into a very religious family just outside of the city of Pittsburgh her father was a high school teacher while her mother worked at the local church. Riley going through school she struggled with almost every subject that she was in, when she was in high school Riley had gotten her first job working at a local fast food joint. While in high school Riley found out that she was not really into men and eventually she came out to her parents. This of course didn't go well with her family at all, and she was kicked out of her parents house, Riley struggled through her last year of high school she was lucky enough to have a friend let her stay with them.

Eventually Riley graduated from high school and decided that she didn't want to go through college and got a better job as working as a bartender which she enjoyed quiet a bit. Riley also started to play music more and more, eventually doing small gigs here and there to make a little bit of extra money. Then Riley had gotten a break a producer saw what he liked and offered her a contract deal with his music company which she eagerly accepted.

Riley spent the next year then finding members for her band and eventually she started writing songs for their first album, and then they finally released it and became a hit. Shortly after the release of their first album Riley went on her first national tour across the US, which she enjoyed traveling seeing new places and talking to other musicians while on tour. In her spare time Riley also started taking self defense lessons for those overly attached fans. Then Riley decided to move to California and found an apartment in Justice California and started moving her things in to be closer to her other bandmates as well as her studio and producer to make more of her music. 

[color=cyan][/color] Life Since You Moved In: Since moving in Riley has settled in pretty quickly, she hasn't had much time to get to know the other neighbors in her apartment yet. However Riley is usually seen out walking along the sidewalk and sometimes spending her free time in the bars or out shopping. But Riley spends most of her nights writing up more music or practicing her guitar which some neighbors may hear her play from time to time.

Personality: Perhaps Jeremy's most prominent trait is his dry humour and wit, which he makes use of even in the worst times. This can make him appear rather unprofessional, or unserious, but in reality he primarily uses it as a sort of coping mechanism to keep himself calm in anxious or dangerous situations. These sorts of situations are ones that Jeremy finds himself in regularly, an adrenaline junkie, Jeremy is a 'treasure hunter' by choice, and is drawn more than anything by the incredible risk which goes into it. He loves a good fight, and is quick to rush into one without really thinking through all of his options.

Although he is quick to get into a fight and even gunplay, Jeremy most certainly does not view himself as a killer, and only does so if he has to, or out of self-defence. When it comes to his relationships with friends, Jeremy is extremely loyal, to the point where he would risk his life for the safety of his friends, and he's kind enough to his acquaintances even, generally happy to help anyone he is able to, even if it comes as some cost to himself. History

What Brings You To The City: Having just gotten out of prison in Mexico City, and arriving back in the States, Jeremy heard the news of Peyton Glencross and the missing Professor Gerard. Seeing it as an offer too dripping with opportunities to pass up, and forseeing some big hunt to follow if he got involved, Jeremy quickly got a place in Justice and made his way there, looking forward to the possibilities of things to come.

Life Before You Moved In: Abandoned as a baby by an unwanting pair of teenage parents, Jeremy grew up in a Catholic Orphanage, where he first gained his interest and love of history and myth. Although not exactly becoming religious, Jeremy became quickly fascinated with the history books in the orphanages library, and the lessons he was taught throughout his young childhood. Jeremy began to hold the books quite dear, and this got him some unwanted attention from bullies who would mock his 'nerdy' habits. Not one to back down, even though his tormentors were usually bigger than him, Jeremy began to start getting into fights with the other kids, causing some great havoc for the priests and nuns who ran the orphanage. Many grew tired of the young boys antics as he fought more and more, and seemed to explore his more adventurous habits by sneaking out of his dorm and into the library late at night for more study. His teacher however, Father McKinnon, grew quite affectionate for young Jeremy however, and encouraged his learning more and more, even going to his own expense to buy more books for the boy.

Jeremy's bad habits only got worse as he grew older, in his teenage years his adventurous nature took over more and more, and he stopped just sneaking into the Library, and began sneaking out of the Orphanage, a feat which usually required scaling the walls and buildings to do. This got him into even more trouble, and that troublesome nature became much of the reason that the boy was never adopted, having no real parental figures in his life aside from Father McKinnon, who continued to take a shine to the boy's adventurous and historical spirit. At the urging of Father McKinnon, Jeremy left the Orphanage at the age of eighteen to go to university, managing to get into an Arts Degree at Harvard, where he majored in History and took up Archaeology as a minor. It was in these early years of university when Jeremy first encountered what would arguably shape his life - the Indiana Jones films. Becoming enthralled with the films, Jeremy saw parallels between the titular character and himself, and began to idolize the idea of being a treasure hunter. 

Such a dream is what started to get Jeremy into even more trouble, driven by lust for history and adventure, and an awful lot of bad ideas, Jeremy snuck into the Peabody museum in his final year of university, and with the help of a few friends and contacts he'd made over the past few years, stole an Aztec artifact on display which he believed would lead him to the treasure of Montezuma. For the next many years, Jeremy searched for clues that might take him to Montezuma's treasure, picking up other similar jobs along the way. He made contacts and connections around the world and made many minor finds, sunken pirates ships, ancient ruins and temples, but nothing quite so glorious or grandiose as he wished. At the age of 26, Jeremy hoped to settle down for a while, and even got married, but his marriage did not last long as Jeremy soon ran off to Tibet, following a lead he believed would lead him to discover Shangri-La. While he did not find Shangri-La, he found more clues and gained more information which he believed would take him to his first great goal, Montezuma's treasure. 

Finding himself in Mexico City, Jeremy fell deep into the hunt, his actions getting the attention of a few local criminals also interested in the fortune he was seeking, and with their attention came the attention of the authorities. Believing the final key of the puzzle which would lead him to Montezuma's treasure was in the Anahuacalli Museum, Jeremy broke in, but was quickly found and captured by the police, who had been tipped off to his plans by one of the many criminals who had been stalking him. Jeremy spent the next two years of his life in a Mexico City prison, and has since returned to the United States, believing his treasure to be lost.

Life Since You Moved In: Jeremy has been getting into contact with some of his old contacts, as well as trying to narrow down some people who may have known Peyton Glencross, hoping they might have some idea as to what she was involved in. He hasn't been in town long, however, so little progess has been made.

Mail call. The most painfully dull, slow, inefficient and generally unneeded aspect of the German Army, or any military organization for that matter. To some of the others in his squad, returning from a long field exercise to the mail which had been held from them was a welcome treat, but Joel just wanted to find an actual, comfortable bed and fall asleep.

"Obergefreiter Gott." The Administrative Corporal droned on as he went down the list in his hand, a small stack of letters in his hand.

"Ja." An equally droning voice sounded from beside Joel, the man in question. He received his mail and moved off away from the group, idly flicking through bills and junk mail for anything of actual interest. The second he was out of his peripherals, Joel didn't care, he just wanted to hear his name so he could go to his bunk and pass out.

"Hauptgefreiter Grau." The Corporal continued with the next name - the one Joel had been waiting for, he glanced momentarily to the man's hand, he held a selection of letters, but under-arm was a box, intricately carved with golden latches - he wasn't one for antiques, so he doubted it had been sent to him as any sort of gift, but he didn't know anyone who would send packages in such a manner.

"Ja." Joel finally responded, moving toward the Corporal to retrieve his mail. Originally he couldn't have cared less what his mail was, but as he carried it back toward his bunk and looked over the box - ignoring the confused glances and stares from the others in the barrack - he built quite the intrigue toward it. Tossing aside his other letters as insignificant in comparison, Joel sat down on his bunk, setting the box in his lap, he figured if it had made it this far into the base he resided in, it wasn't dangerous to any degree. Or, rather, Joel assumed it wasn't dangerous.

Gently, he set his finger and thumb on the gold pin, pulling it from the latch as he slowly and delicately lifted the lid, peering within. This was seeming less and less like something that would've been intended for him. Crimson velvet padded lining, and a trifolded piece of thick paper? This was an awfully over-complicated way for someone to be sending him a letter. But it was certainly not a letter, as Joel soon realised. Opening it, he had to do a double take as he looked over the two tickets he held, from Munich to Paris, and a boarding pass for the Orient Express.

As he sat and read the letter, Joel gathered somewhat of an audience, a few of his friends and comrades moving over to his bunk to peer over his shoulder at what was before him, a few unimpressed or unknowing 'huh' sounds coming from the majority as they moved on to other things. Joel, on the other hand, was simply confused. Why had he been picked? He'd been told a while ago that he should take some leave, the man hadn't since his third deployment, so he certainly would have been able to get the time off for this little 'vacation' - but Joel still groaned.

What Brings You To The City: Risa is cool under the gun and knows how to handle herself in the world of Diplomacy. That is to a point. One of the guests from Portugal got a little too handsie for her liking and she was having a bad day. Before she knew it she had broken his hand. The U.N. didn't want to lose her but it was just simpler to transfer her out. Justice was in need of a new Senior L.C. - She was on the next flight out.  

Life Before You Moved In: Risa was born to the Couri family; her father a linguistics professor and her mother a former national champion in Tae Kwon Do. This created a unique home life; her father teaching her to use her words, her mother teaching her what do to when words where no longer effective. She took to both at a young age and enjoyed both equally; honing both as she got older. 

Risa loved seeing what she could get away with at a young age; if she couldn't sweet talk her way out of a situation she would fight her way out. If that didn't work, she would need a quick exit; girl had a knack for getting in over her head from time to time. Being able to free climb became key in keeping her pretty little head on her shoulders. Granted she did end up in several fights; because of this and a lot of trespassing she got to know the local law more than she would have liked. 

She excelled in school though and was set to join the Finnish Air Force after she turned 18 but due to her mastery of several languages by this time she was recruited by her government to work as a translator for their various Embassies. They would assign her to various diplomats as a liaison when traveling. She went to University during this time and was eventually brought to the attention of the U.N. who gave her an internship.

She enjoyed the work and travel, quickly working up the ranks to Language Coordinator for the U.N. in Geneva due to her leadership skills, mastery of the official U.N. languages and ability to calm hostilities between nations thanks to a quick wit and smooth talking game. She loved working in Geneva but things change and she was recently transferred out to Justice to serve as their new Senior Language Coordinator.  

Life Since You Moved In: Well she hasn't exactly moved in yet but she did go ahead and secure her apartment; recommended to get a place in Boston Heights on arrival. The rent was decent and such so she put down a deposit and is just moving in. She hopes the people are nice, she wants to meet new people and make a few friends while she is out there.

Personality: While overall professional and set on the task at hand, Walsh has been noted as being somewhat of a play-boy, in the younger years he spent watching old spy movies, he clearly held more of an interest in the women than anything else. He is generally a fairly charismatic and friendly individual, and regularly cracks jokes at unnecessary and even inappropriate times. He has some issues with trusting people, especially those he's only recent met. He generally seems to classify those he doesn't know as some sort of threat.

Lucas always held a deep appreciation for the arts and for sports. As a gymnast, Lucas regularly involved himself with Gymnastic and Athletic competitions during his schooling, and usually did quite well. He coupled these skills together, usually using his agile nature to make art in unlikely spots, generally through Graffiti. He took great enjoyment in mocking and even tormenting the police who usually pursued him, knowing he'd easily escape via rooftops, alleyways and all other manner of pathways. He is incredibly overconfident, and it has been marked as his greatest weakness.

History

What Brings You To The City: There wasn't much of a specific draw to Justice for Lucas, and there isn't much reason why he went there over anything else. In reality, Lucas has only moved to Justice along with his girlfriend Risa, and because there was the job offer available. Plus, what Englishman doesn't want to live in the cesspool of North America?

Life Before You Moved In: Born in Manchester, England to a single father - his mother having died in childbirth, Lucas spent the majority of his childhood in the UK. Growing up in a relatively peaceful suburb, Lucas was given a simple and enjoyable childhood as his father worked incredibly hard at two jobs to ensure that they were able to live happily and without want in their apartment within the city. Lucas developed his interest in Gymnastics at a young age from his father, a Gymnast himself, who often took Lucas to practice, and trained the young boy to take part himself. Lucas' father passed away in a climbing accident, a little over a year after Lucas began school.

When it came to his schooling, and academic lifestyle, Lucas was dedicated and skilled, a highly intelligent boy, Lucas performed well in his classes, topping quite a few of them - although he only particularly held a major interest in his Art subjects. An aspiring artist himself, Lucas was noted for the complex and original pieces of art he created, however - much to the displeasure of his teacher and guardian - he demonstrated quite the interest in Graffiti as an art form.

Graduating near the top of his class, Lucas went on to Oxford University to further his study of the arts. It was during his time in Oxford where Lucas first began to begin his aspiring non-career as a Graffiti artist, spreading his art around the university and Oxford as a whole in hard-to-reach and intriguing places. Lucas tried to avoid getting into too much trouble with the police, and after he graduated from the university he settled into a much more calm way of practicing his art.

Eventually, Lucas began to get involved in teaching, and began doing so at a high school level. He enjoyed the work, and began to teach overseas, moving in with his girlfriend Risa to teach in her own area, picking up a few more subjects such as language and history to teach at the same time. Moving to Justice to teach there has been the next step in his career.

Life Since You Moved In: Lucas has yet to properly move into the apartment he and Risa will be sharing, but he has been in Justice for a few weeks already at a hotel, having had to be there since the start of the school term, he's in the process of moving in to the apartment at the Boston Heights, however.

	Lucas had only been to the United States a few times, once as a tourist during his years at University, only spending his time in Los Angeles, and once more for work, infiltrating the Irish mob in Boston. Both times he'd only spent his stay within the city, so this was his first time experiencing the countryside - and he had to admit, it had a great beauty to it, but perhaps that had to do with the stunning, decadent and massive mansion he and Risa had just arrived at.

	Risa leaned back in her seat, her arm laced through Lucas's as she looked out the window. She had spent much more time in New York than he had, having to attend multiple events over the years with the U.N. She preferred D.C. but she had to admit the scenery was beautiful. Looking at the mansion as they arrived she sat up and adjusted her dress some, she hated the thing and could not wait to change; having several sets of clothing stashed in various places so she could get out of the dress as quickly as possible.

"Y'think they'll let me keep the car?" Lucas asked idly, running his hands over the steering wheel one last time before he opened the door to step out. 

"Only if we dent it, then maybe," she chuckled as she looked over towards him. Argus had generously provided them with a BMW i8 for the drive out to Braun's mansion, one with a few agent-worthy modifications of course, and gorgeous enough to allow Lucas and Risa to fit into the shoes they were supposed to be filling, a couple of millionaire party-goers. Closing the door behind him, he moved over to her side of the car, gently opening the door as he held a hand out toward her, a half-smile gracing his face as he watched her, waiting to help her out of the car. Rise smiled gently towards him as she rested her hand in his and stepped out of the car, her dress cascading down her body as her thick braid rested on her shoulder.

"Don't know why you kick up such a fuss about the dress, I think you look stunning." Lucas commented idly with a smirk, closing the door behind her once she was out and locking it as he moved toward the entrance, following a few other couples in. 

"I still say you should be wearing this, would provide for a greater diversion," she whispered against his ear.

	It wasn't hard to pick out the killers, thieves and drug lords from the other guests, they all had the same knowing looks, and each seemed far less pleased to be there than the millionaires and movie stars. The latter was a mold which Lucas fit in to surprisingly well, considering his past, a smile on his face as a waiter approached the pair, asking for any specific drinks the two desired.

"I'll have a glass of the best whisky on offer, on the rocks." Lucas established simply, he wasn't usually one for fancy drinks, and wasn't going to conform to the stereotype by getting something as silly as a Vodka Martini, shaken not stirred. Shifting his gaze over to Risa momentarily, he allowed her to make her order while he shifted his gaze over the gala, it didn't take long for him to spot Mr. Braun, the man was greeting a few of the individuals who'd come in just before them, no doubt he'd approach the two in a similar manner.

"Yes, Cognac: Martin, Louis Xiii," she said with a curt nod before turning her attention back towards the Gala, her eyes falling on Braun.

	Hearing as the waiter gave a 'very good' to their orders and moved off, Lucas smiled as he held out his arm to Risa, letting her take it before he moved down the stairs to the main event, the sound of chatter only barely overpowering the sound of the band toward the back of the room.

"You went to these kind of things often? I could get used to parties like these." Lucas commented as he glanced around, forgetting for a moment or two that he was there to work, not play. He'd spotted the security, larger men in the same black suits, no visible weapons but on a few, Lucas could spot the telltale lump of a concealed weapon, from the shape, he figured an MP7, or something similar, he doubted he'd end up in a gunfight that night, but the heavy armament was something to note, nonetheless.

"Yes, all too often for my tastes," she said with a smirk as she stood there with her arm laced through his. "And trust me my dear, you'll be hating it quickly I imagine, especially once you have to mingle," she snickered. She knew how much Lucas hated the uppity types and this place was spilling over with them.

	Lucas went to make on of his usual vomiting noises, but forced himself not to at the risk of drawing some unwanted attention from the other party-goers. A momentary smirk gracing his face, he decided to repay the sort of teasing she had been giving him, leaning over to hover his lips by her ear.

"I'm sure it won't be all bad - some good looking women, after all." Lucas smirked, shifting his gaze over to the Waiter as he returned, taking his drink with his free hand and taking a long drink, a slight and momentary sneer on his face as he felt the sharp sting of the high-class, top shelf whiskey running down his throat. 

"Yes there are, and some very handsome men. I wonder if there is a couple that would like to play tonight," Risa said without missing a beat as she took her glass off the waiters tray and swirled it slowly as it warmed against the palm of her hand. "I am sure there are some who wouldn't mind me not wearing this getup," she said as she glanced over towards Lucas, teasing him before she took a slow sip. As much as she taunted the man, it was always in jest towards him. Neither of them seemed to take the others threats seriously. Neither was the jealous type and Risa was more than secure; self confidence was something neither of them lacked.

	Braun was still eagerly chatting with a few of the other guests, not that Lucas was displeased, he had no real desire to speak to the man at all if he could avoid it, or any other guest for that matter. Just as Risa had said, his enjoyment would rapidly dissipate once he was chatting to the other snobs who were present.

"Y'know, everyone here looks like a near carbon-copy of Oliver," Lucas groaned quietly, forcing himself to hide the sneer which threatened to reveal itself. "Hell, even I look like the bastard." He continued in a hushed tone, glancing down to his own attire. He'd been provided with a rather fanciful velvet smoking jacket, which while visually appealing, was still a bit high-end for Lucas' taste,  the black bow tie around his neck was tight enough to be giving his neck a light squeeze, but just loose enough to be comfortable. Either way, he figured he had the better end of the deal not being in her dress.

"Hardly," she whispered as she leaned against him, taking another sip. "I'll go deal with our host, you just wait for my signal," she said before brushing her lips against his cheek and sauntering off. Her hips swaying as she made her way over towards their host with a graceful smile playing on her lips.

History


What Brings You To The City: Well to be honest, despite what many would want to think, Felix is only here because he is running out of inspiration. After the success of his first trilogy he realised he needed to get his inspiration back on track he needs to go to the scene and the atmosphere in which a mystery and a crime took place. Hence the block he is moving into, to investigate this mysterious and thrilling crime that would almost certainly roll in the readers.

Life Before You Moved In: Although he never acknowledges it, but Felix's life was great. He was born into a crime family, unbeknownst to him. He had 4 brothers, his father and his mother, no one else lived with them in their big house in Berlin. His dad was slowly putting away a fortune for the family and he had raised Felix's three brothers to inherit the fortune and carry on the family for him, carry on the drug trading and the weapon trading. Felix was none the wiser, he had no idea they were rich, even when he went to a private high school.

At High school, his sense of cockiness and his ego began to develop. People had heard from his older brothers that they would deal with them if they laid a finger on him, so he glided through his years, believing he was revered and feared, like a true hero or a legend. He began writing stories at this age too, convinced he was writing the saga of his life, beginning with a few over exaggerated stories of drama that had been developing in the school. These stories became huge hits in his school, as people started to actually like his style. The compliments he received sparked his ego. Convinced his writing was the best the world had ever seen, he made his career path set to be literacy, to be the author of the century! A legend! 

 After he graduated from high school, he made his way swiftly to Univeristy, funded by his family, and made his way around the campus meeting as many new friends as he could, as before he didn't have many. At this point he was working on his first novel, Jar of Blood, the first in a trilogy of books that he was rather proud of. During his time at the university, his father died. With his father dead, Felix was scared his money would be cut off since, he hardly had any jobs and his brothers would never give him any money. However, due to some odd circumstances even Felix isn't sure of, his brother succeeded in killing each other, and left the family fortune to him.

After Univeristy, and the publication of his first book, he was overwhelmed with the support he got from the families his father was friends with, and worked closely around the crime gangs of Berlin, observing everything they did in order to achieve the freshest sense of reality. During these escapades, he was sure he was some sort of famous person that the poor scumbags were terrified of. So after all this and the publication of his third book, he became a hit in Berlin, achieving fans of new and old genres, this fame,,filling him up. He knew it couldn't stop there, but he needed a new scene, a new crime, a new mystery. It was around then that he had heard of the Peyton "Suicide" Via the internet. he couldn't pass up an oppotrunity like that. So for six months, he planned his journey to Justice, before finally putting that journey into action, taking a ride with a friend of the family's private plane.

Life Since You Moved In: Has only just arrived and has made arrangements with the men that have been hired to transfer his stuff so that they can make an amazing entrance, him on his motor bike and the truck behind him.

Personal Style: Even though he is a detective he rarely dresses the part, he is not one for suits and ties. In fact he doesn't even own a suit. Preferring jeans and dress shirts; it lets him have at least some sort of clean cut look without being too clean cut. Criminals on the street don't take to kindly to those in suits with badges. Granted they don't take to kindly to those with badges period but not being in your funeral suit as you walk around helps a bit.

Personality: Roy is your typical street hardened detective. 20+ years on the force and he has seen it all, caused some of it, and covered up a lot of it. He doesn't hold back with what he has to say when it comes to street folk but he is determined enough to want to stay alive and to know when to bite his tongue. This has proved in valuable to keeping off peoples hit list. 

His eyes are always watching and while some people believe they can actually read when people are lying and they can't, his observations are hardly wrong. He knows his gut and follows it. He is corrupt, like most in the department and can be cruel because of it but underneath it all he is starting to feel the small pang of guilt for all the crime he has helped foster in the city. Only time will tell how much longer he can keep it up.

History


The Basics: Grew up on the streets of Justice and had a juvi record a mile long. He was finally given a choice by a judge - go to the academy, or go to jail. He did well, knowing what a criminal would do because he was one made the real life parts of the training a breeze. Learning the law end, not to much and he struggled but eventually managed to graduate. He met a records Clerk while he was a rookie, Josephine. They were married and everything on the surface seemed fine but after she caught rumors of him covering crimes up and finally was asked by him to loose some records she divorced him. They haven't spoken in years, she left Justice after the divorce and moved to Chicago.
