I'd also say no magic watch. Given the Undertale setting itself and its distinct lack of explicitly magical items, that seems almost like a given. Soul abilities should be more than sufficient. Speaking of which...

@Major Ursa I believe you also made the executive decision that Blue SOULs are the only SOUL type, other than Red, which retain memories from a reset run, and that two non-Red SOULs can combine their determination to effect a reset if absolutely necessary. Also, regarding my prior suggestions about Orange and Cyan SOULs, I'd like to suggest a couple of changes to those.

First of all, both SOUL types ought to be completely immune to being struck by either Orange or Cyan attacks, since they're automatically immune to their specific attack type anyway, and completely incapable of dealing with the other (Orange can't avoid Cyan, Cyan can't avoid Orange). This evidently wouldn't apply when the modes are forced upon a SOUL, since we can assume most monsters wouldn't subsequently utilise attacks that the SOUL Mode in question cannot dodge, e.g. screen-wide cyan bones against an Orange SOUL.

Secondly, whilst the Orange SOUL/Rocket Mode should remain similar to what I suggested - moves constantly in one of four cardinal directions with no ability to stop - the Cyan SOUL/Patience Mode ought to work a little bit differently, since awkwardly moving the battle area around itself to dodge attacks struck me as just a more clunky form of the Red SOUL's movement capabilities from the get-go. Instead, it should only have limited movement within a small area at the center of the screen, but with the capacity to emit a "bubble" of sorts, which gradually grows as the user wants it to and shrinks once it either reaches a maximum size or the user stops making it grow, blocking and destroying attacks whilst it's moving outward, but leaving the SOUL vulnerable whilst shrinking until it returns to the SOUL proper. This would therefore reward well-planned, i.e. patient, use of the ability, since being rash about expanding the bubble could leave you open to a large number of hits from attacks before it returns to you.

And of course, I maintain that other SOUL Modes should be left as-is, no additions necessary, save the already-determined changes to Blue SOULs remembering stuff from resets and two non-Red SOULs combining to effect a reset if necessary.

Alright, I need a bit of a refresher...where are your characters located, and who wants a random encounter?

Nina and Ash are currently at the edge of the forest. System is at her office/house.

The mention of random encounters did spark an idea for me though: How would a monster and a human Vs. another monster work?

EDIT: The thought of it almost makes me want you to want to spawn Ash and Nina an animalistic, untalkable monster for them to slay. Something that wouldn't net them any negative press. If you want.

Yay! Ok, first off: welcome back (again)

Second: Isa and Lalita are coming to the city via collab. Would love to have your help for what to do with the captured human once they get there. I was thinking about maybe turning Lalita over to npc royal guard people for questioning (but that wouldn't leave much for interaction between her and other characters) or maybe other characters could get in the way and Isa's stuck guarding Lalita until something's figured out about what to do with her. @Luna

Nina is still with Ash, and almost to the city (I think?)

-Edit-

I like the idea of an encounter too, it could help Ash and Nina get to know each other better, and give me another reason to have her get in a fight

Been a while since I posted anything in. Let me know if I've made any mistakes.
-3-
PS: Was struggling between a difficult, weird, or cute encounter...settled for weird. If you wanted one of the other two instead, I could change it up...

Appearance:Short light brown hair, rusty goggles on her head, dark blue jacket, a plain dark cyan dress with a black ribbon tied around it,grey leggings, brown boots, one part of her arms and legs bandaged, and a locket.

Soul Color:Cyan/Patience

Bio:when Sparrow was around the age of 9,she lived with her family around a military base as her father was one of the solders. It was all nice until they were stuck in a battle between [REDACTED] and [REDACTED] (not humans and monsters). Her brother and mother were evacuated, but she and her sister wanted to help. They got lost while battle, and one foreign solder attacked them. Sparrow went to run and hide, and saw her sister shot to death. That was when she had enough of running like a coward.

She looked around the hidding spot and found a baseball bat. Grabbing it and sneaking up on the murderer of her sister and knocked them out. Searching the body had her find a dagger. She used it to slice the solder until she though they were no more. She then ran back to her father, having a few battle and geting shot one her arms and legs along the way. She Hugged him with relief that they are ok before leaving as well.

now, sparrow had her wounds bandaged and still has the weapons from her first battle. Hearing about dissapearances around lake mirth from a news article, she decided to see for herself. Getting the right diving equipment, she dove right in and dissapeared inside as well.

Enough said" Brother:"Hes living with me and mother now. Its nice to have a remaining sibling alive." [More to come...]

Skill: Pain tolerance (she can take a good amount of hits)
Equipment:normal diving equpiment,wet suit,silver dagger (throwable,ATK+12),baseball bat (Melee,ATK+25),health kit

@Major Ursa Skylar, Rodney, and Eeeeeeeeeeee are just leaving the cave Skylar and Rodney woke up in, with Eeeeeeeeeeee acting as a guide of sorts. I assume Skylar is leaving with Rodney and Eeeeeeeeeeee, anyway, but @Guardian Angel Haruki doesn't seem to have posted since my last post. You still there, Haru?

@Major Ursa oh no! A pillow! One of Nina's worst nemesis... lol, jk

How much damage would the pillow hitting her have done? I dont remember how much HP she has left, but after fighting Ash it's definatly not much.
